I kind of love that Imogen’s queer crisis wasn’t big or dramatic, like the rest of the friend group’s. It was a quirky undercurrent for a long time (and so was she)—and then she was ferociously, drunkenly, half-horizontally making out with Sahar (and throwing up in the toilet about it). The most subtlety we got was the bi lighting tease at Sahar’s concert in season 2.

She arrived. She was bombastically silly. She was a mess. She left.

Silly question but uhm, would anyone be interested in a Sorvus fanfiction taking place in between book 3 and 4?

The canonical events taken into account would only be the ones of act 1 and some of the short stories from the 'Reflections' collection, but not Through the Moon (so Rayla's around 🙂). I was thinking along the lines of the "slice of life" genre 'cuz I wanted something chill, if not for the fact that the "life" in question is of two guards in a fantasy setting dealing with the first attempt at peace being led by the child ruler they're supposed to guard after centuries of war, so how chill can that actually be...

I've been working on the layout for a while and I don't really have many chapters yet- and by that I mean I barely got the first one done (as in, I don't), but the more ideas pop into my head the more I want to work on it in spite of English not being my first language and uni taking my soul away 👉👈

I don't know when, precisely, I began to ship Miranda and Jack, because objectively speaking the only interactions between them that I've seen are, um, bad, but I do remember thinking about their post-loyalty confrontation a few days after it happened and going "Was that a lil bit homoerotic or was that just me?" and I think I was right for that.

It's not that I don't buy these two not liking each other - they have plenty of reason to, specially on Jack's end - but Bioware, being Bioware, was clearly not interested in actually, you know... developing that in any way, so it's in my hands and now they start out hating each other's guts, then they establish baseline trust in each other by fighting together, they learn about each other's pasts and realize they have a load of trauma in common and then they girlfriend.
