Bhopal Satpura Bhawan fire: Thousands of MP govt files burnt, but what it means in digital age
Thousands of Madhya Pradesh government files were gutted in the massive fire at the Satpura Bhawan in Bhopal. But what does files being reduced to ashes mean in this digital age when data is stored on hard disks and in the cloud?
Tumblr media
The massive fire that broke out at Bhopal's Satpura Bhawan has resulted in the burning of many important files kept there. The building houses several Madhya Pradesh government departments. But were all documents digitised? And what does a fire destroying physical files mean in the age of computers?
A masive fire started on the third floor of Satpura Bhawan on Monday evening and spread to the sixth floor. The building houses offices of various departments of the Madhya Pradesh government.
On Tuesday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called a review meeting regarding the fire, which was attended by senior officers. They presented facts before the chief minister and other ministers regarding the blaze.
As thousands of files and assets were engulfed in the massive fire, the Opposition hit out at the BJP-led government for “corruption” and “foul play” ahead of the state Assembly election due later this year.
But, how many files were actually burnt? And will hard drives or digitised copies of those files help in retrieving them? The other big question, were all documents really digitised?
How many files were burnt in the fire?
The fire allegedly gutted furniture worth Rs 25 crore and over 12,000 important files. However, Rajesh Rajoura, a member of the committee formed to investigate the fire, said, "It is not possible to go inside the building. Hence, it would not be factually correct to say how many files have been burnt."
He said the number of affected files can only be ascertained after the investigation is complete.
Which departments were affected the most?
Departments like Tribal Affairs, Health, Forest, Chief Minister Monitoring Case, Public Grievances and National Information System operate on the sixth floor of Satpura Bhawan. Hence, the documents of these departments were subject to fire.
Documents related to the establishment of health services, complaints branch and assembly questions kept in these departments have been burnt. The service records, complaint documents and budget accounting documents of employees on the fourth floor of the building were also burnt to ashes.
Were all Satpura Bhawan documents digitised?
There is no data available on the number of health department files kept at Bhopal's Satpura Bhawan, that have also been digitalised, sources said. However, some departments have heavy reliance on written documents, like the complaint department.
Were files related to Covid-related payments burnt?
According to some reports, files related to payments made to hospitals during the Covid-19 pandemic were also gutted in the fire. However, an official confirmation in this regard is still awaited.
Which files were not affected by the fire?
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that documents related to purchasing and tendering in the offices were not affected by the fire. Medicines, equipment and furniture for hospitals were also not affected, as they were kept on the second floor.
Will hard disks help in retrieving burnt files?
Talking about files that were burnt in the fire, MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that information about state and central government schemes will be recovered from the hard disk, although it may require some work. He said, "Many files were saved in digital format. So it would be wrong to say that files and records were burnt in the fire.
What will happen to complaints and queries raised by people?
Questions asked by people to the MLAs are answered in a digital format. However, most questions are sent in a written format, as compared to those received via email. It is feared that the written complaints sent by people may have burnt to ashes, as fire also broke out at that department.
When will the investigation in this case be over?
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced a committee to investigate the cause of the fire at Satpura Bhawan. The committee will present the investigation report of this fire in the next three days. ACS Home Rajesh Rajoura, PS Urban Neeraj Mandloi, PS PWD Sukhbir Singh and the ADG Fire will be part of the committee.

Some Astrological Predictions That came True
There are many opinions about the astrology. Some people believe it blindly but some people does not believe it at all. But there are some free astrology predictions that came true
For example, the famous astrologer Bejan Daruwalla predicted the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the Kargil War, and the Gujarat earthquake. Similarly, the astrologer Susan Miller is known for making accurate predictions about political events, such as the outcome of the U.S. presidential elections.
In 1987, Indian astrologer Nirmal Baba predicted the Bhopal gas tragedy, which killed thousands of people in India.
Astrologer Jeane Dixon is known for accurately predicting the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, which occurred in 1963.
Astrologer Linda Goodman correctly predicted the Watergate scandal that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon in 1974.
In 2016, astrologer Joni Patry predicted that Donald Trump would win the U.S. presidential election, despite the majority of polls suggesting otherwise.
In 2008, astrologer Shelley von Strunckel accurately predicted the global economic recession that affected many countries around the world.
While astrology has been around for thousands of years and has been used to make free astrology predictions about events and people's lives.
Tumblr media
That being said, there have been instances where astrologers have made predictions that have come true. However, it is difficult to determine the accuracy of astrological predictions because there are many variables at play.
Some astrologers believe that astrology works based on the alignment and movement of celestial bodies, which can affect our lives and influence the events that take place. They also believe that certain planetary configurations can indicate potential challenges or opportunities in a person's life.
However, many skeptics argue that astrology is not a valid method of prediction and that the apparent accuracy of astrological predictions is often the result of confirmation bias or selective thinking.
In conclusion, while there have been instances where astrological predictions have come true, it is important to approach astrology with an open mind and critical thinking. It is not a precise science and should not be solely relied upon for making important life decisions.

No, actually, censorship isn’t good
Tumblr media
Let’s play a game. I’m gonna rattle off a list of statements in regards to American history. Try to figure out what they have in common.
The CIA was almost certainly involved in the Kennedy assassination, although we’ll probably never know the full extent of their involvement.
Union Carbide was criminally negligent in regards to the Bhopal disaster, and the fact that no one was held accountable is an unspeakable injustice.
Clinton-era “welfare reform” was a fundamentally racist policy that caused untold harm to poor Americans.
The 2000 Bush campaign engineered astro-turfed protests to halt the vote recount in Florida, which may have resulted in a victory for Al Gore.
The Bush administration knowingly lied so as to exaggerate the danger Iraq posed to the United States, including stoking the objectively untrue belief that Iraq orchestrated the 9/11 attacks.
All available evidence suggests that Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself.
Okay, what do these have in common?
For one, they’re all statements that a reasonably well-informed and skeptical person would agree with. Two, they’re all associated with contemporary liberalism--that is, an American liberal would be more inclined than a conservative to believe them, as they lend validation to the general liberal world view. And, finally, they all directly contradict the official narratives surrounding each issue. If you’re going solely by the opinions of the institutions that formally adjudicate fact vs. fiction, you would dismiss these all as conspiracy theories.
But most of us will agree that a statement is not rendered actually true or actually false based on the designations of the Gatekeepers of our Shared Truth. Nor would we believe that refusing to accept more obviously absurd or self-serving official narratives is the equivalent of believing, say, that Hillary Clinton is a lizard person or that Bush blew up the World Trade Center by pushing down one of those Wile E Coyote Acme-brand plungers.
Skepticism is normal. It is healthy. It is good. And in order to preserve it, we must value the free and open exchange of perspectives and ideas. We have to make sure that unofficial narratives can still be countenanced, that inconvenient evidence cannot be dismissed without consideration.
Or, at least that’s what a solid majority of liberal-leaning Americans would have believed up until a few years ago. Now, however, liberal orthodoxy agrees that speech is fundamentally dangerous, and if we wish to forestall social collapse we must begin policing speech that our esteemed overlords have deemed dangerously untrue.
I’m not going to delve into the pathologies, here. The election of Donald Trump caused such profound psychic damage to our liberal cultural institutions that they became reactionary hotbeds of illiberalism practically overnight. I just want to point out how fucking short-sighted this is, especially to a social movement that is supposedly concerned with enacting reforms and trying to make our world more just and decent.
This isn’t just reactionary. It’s suicidal.

The Pandemic Will Be More Deadly This Year - Look At India
On Sunday alone, 261,500 new infections were recorded. That's as bad as the U.S. during all but the worst five days of the pandemic in December and early January.
Covid-19 is going to kill more people in 2021 than it did last year. If you want to see why, look at what's happening in India.
Cases have been surging in the country of 1.37 billion people. On Sunday alone, 261,500 new infections were recorded. That's as bad as the U.S. during all but the worst five days of the pandemic in December and early January. Case counts are rising far more quickly, too. Average infection numbers over the past seven days have run at nearly three times the level two weeks ago, a pace of growth that the U.S. last saw in the early days of the outbreak a year ago.
The real numbers may be yet higher. The city of Bhopal used Covid-19 protocols to cremate or bury 84 people last Tuesday, according to the Hindustan Times, while declaring only five Covid deaths. The B.1.617 variant, which isn't well understood yet, has features associated with higher infection rates and lower antibody resistance. It's turning up in more than half of viral samples taken in India.
As caseloads push medical facilities toward capacity, the health system itself is starting to crack. Vaccine stocks, hospital beds and even oxygen supplies are running short, leading to bitter arguments between the states and the federal government. In some places, the dead are being transported by truck because cities have run out of hearses. Elsewhere, crematoria have started to break down because of the sheer number of bodies being burned.
If things don't change soon, the country will be facing 3,000 deaths a day -- twice its current level, and 10 times what was being seen through most of this year -- Bhramar Mukherjee, a biostatistician at the University of Michigan, wrote last week.
As my colleague Mihir Sharma has written, arrogance, hyper-nationalism and incompetence helped foster a fatal sense of complacency amid India's apparent success against the outbreak earlier this year. Until a few weeks ago, lockdown restrictions had been progressively loosening for months. Cinemas were allowed to open to full capacity Feb. 1. Health Minister Harsh Vardhan declared the country "in the endgame of the Covid-19 pandemic" in early March, at almost precisely the point that cases started to surge again.
Worryingly, the clear signs of a second wave haven't prompted much course correction since. With elections underway in the states of Assam and West Bengal, the Twitter feed of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been interspersing updates about the virus with Trump-style footage of him, unmasked, addressing mass rallies:
The other side isn't necessarily doing much better, either. West Bengal's chief minister, an opponent of Modi's BJP, only got around to canceling her campaign rallies Sunday.
Worse may be to come. The Kumbh Mela, a Hindu pilgrimage festival that's normally the largest mass gathering on earth, is now underway on the banks of the Ganges, attended by an estimated 3.5 million people. That's well down on the numbers in a normal year, and even Modi, far too late, urged over the weekend that the event be purely "symbolic" rather than physical. Still, it's far above the mere thousands allowed to other mass events like last year's Hajj in Saudi Arabia and Arbaeen pilgrimage in Iraq.
Even held outdoors, such events carry a profound risk of spreading the most infectious variants to every corner of the country. Close to 10% of people returning to Gujarat's largest city, Ahmedabad, from the festival tested positive for Covid over the weekend, the Press Trust of India reported Monday. Hitherto, the coronavirus has mostly hit the relatively affluent, urbanized parts of the country that are best able to cope with it, such as the southern states of Kerala and Karnataka, the capital Delhi, and Maharashtra, home to Mumbai. If the Kumbh Mela seeds it in rural districts, where the majority of India's population lives, the death toll could be higher still.
There's a lesson in this for the world. The 1.2 million people who've died from Covid so far this year already represent about two-thirds of the 1.8 million fatalities in 2020. Yet people are behaving as if it's already over. That's removing the sense of unified urgency that led many nations to make such strides in turning around the pandemic last year.
Vaccine supplies for the richest (and, thanks to global initiatives, poorest) countries are relatively ample. Yet those for middle-income nations, where the majority of the planet's population lives, are grossly inadequate, blocked by restrictive patent rules. India, with one of the world's largest pharmaceutical industries, is far better placed than most midsize economies to cope, but even it is crumbling under the strain.
The more people infected in emerging countries while the rest of the world looks away, the more opportunities Covid-19 will have to develop into fresh strains and prolong this death and misery. We must do better. The globe is still under attack, but our defenses are in disarray.

FARM PRODUCTION: ARE WE GROWING ENOUGH PULSES?
FARM PRODUCTION: ARE WE GROWING ENOUGH PULSES?
We are moving towards independence. The yearly pulses creation found the middle value of 23.7 million tons in the previous three years, an 80% expansion over the normal of the three-year time frame finishing 2003-04. This was driven by chickpea, whose share in beats creation is 43%
Are we independent in pulses?" Peter Carberry, the executive general of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), the Hyderabad-based establishment, asked Narendra Pratap Singh, the chief of Kanpur's Indian Institute of Pulses Research (IIPR), during his introduction prior this month. Singh answered we are moving "towards" independence. Despite the fact that there has been a stage up in the creation of heartbeats to a normal of 24 million tons in the previous three years, Singh gauges the interest at around 32 million tons, which is the reason we import 5.5-6.5 million tons every year.
Carberry's was an appropriate inquiry on the grounds that the lack of pulses was intensely felt in 2015 and 2016. Creation fell pointedly because of the terrible climate. That and (suspected) cartelization of dealers helped costs. Pigeon pea (tur) sold for '8,798 for every quintal, discount, towards the finish of 2015, almost twofold the cost winning in the last quarter of 2014. That of a dark gram (urad) rose 80% between the two-time frames. Chickpea or chana was less influenced however its cost at '8,553 for each quintal toward the finish of 2016 was 87% higher than in the last quarter of 2015.
With buyers getting unsettled and costs turning into an issue in state assembly elections, the government stepped in with strategy support. Seed center points were built up in the primary 150 pulses developing locale. Central agricultural examination organizations and state agricultural colleges ventured up the creation of reproducer seeds. These were multiplied by seed companies and augmentation offices called KVKs available to be purchased to farmers. The subsidy was given uniquely for under 10-year-old seed assortments. These were high-yielding, yet in addition vermin and malady safe. Seed accessibility convinced ranchers to supplant old with new.
Support costs for beats went up. They have ascended by 46% for chickpea, 52% for mung bean, and 30% for pigeon pea in the course of recent years. The government began acquiring pulses. That of pigeon pea rose from 45,000 tons in 2015-16 to 9 lakh tons the following year. It tumbled to 2.58 lakh tons in 2017-18 as costs directed. Chickpea obtainment by the Center was an unassuming 60,000 tons in 2017-18 and an equivalent sum the earlier year. Seven states secured 3.64 lakh huge amounts of chickpea in 2014-15 under their value support plans.
As a result of these measures, yearly pulses creation has arrived at the midpoint of 23.7 million tons in the previous three years, an 80% expansion over the normal of the three-year time frame finishing 2003-04. This was driven by chickpea whose share in pulses production is 43%. Its yield multiplied from 5.14 million tons to 10.27 million tons during these two periods.
With 63% of worldwide production, India leads in the development of chickpea—a harvest developed in 52 nations. Madhya Pradesh contributes the most to the nation's chickpea creation. It is the "chickpea bowl of the world," says Pooran Gaur, ICRISAT's Research Program Director for Asia, and a chickpea reproducer.
A report in this space on April 19 (https://bit.ly/2UrzBeE) detailed how chickpea, a winter season harvest of north India, elbowed out of that area by the Green Revolution in rice and wheat, and adjusted to Andhra Pradesh, in spite of its warm climate. While normal efficiency is the most elevated in that state, Madhya Pradesh is the biggest maker. It has demonstrated ceaseless increments in zone, creation and yield. The territory under chickpea in the state has expanded eight-overlay from a yearly normal of 64,700 hectares somewhere in the range of 1971 and 1980 to more than 3 million hectares.
The help that the administration gave for pulses creation after their costs spiked four years prior wouldn't have been compelling if seed innovation wasn't accessible. Mohammad Yasin, head researcher at the Rafi Ahmed Kidwai College of Agriculture in Sehore close Bhopal, qualities Madhya Pradesh's interest for chickpea to the 54 improved assortments that were discharged since the 1960s, of which 21 are present in the seed creation framework and 15 are well known. The majority of the lines were created at ICRISAT and adjusted to neighborhood conditions at the horticultural exploration stations in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra before discharge. They are high-yielding and have developments running from 85-120 days. The early developing ones, which are reaped in March, can get away from the summer heat at the unit filling stage. The greater part of them are impervious to wither. The state's farmers can easily grow two yields every time of soybean and chickpea.
SK Rao, vice-chancellor of the state farming college in Gwalior, and a chickpea breeder says great administration rehearses are important to bridle yield gains from hereditary upgrades. The reception of line-planting with seed drills has brought about better germination (than when communicated) as seeds are put at right profundities, get the necessary moisture and the plant population is denser. In the Malwa area, producers of additional strong seed Kabuli chana, the main assortment permitted to be sent out, have embraced incorporated bug the executive's practices and give water and supplements in exact amounts through trickle pipes, as they get premium costs. A hundred grains of these assortments weigh 45-50 gm, contrasted with desi chana assortments that weigh
The state's approaches have been useful. In Karnataka, assortments discharged somewhere else need the support of an official panel for nearby planting. In Madhya Pradesh, there is no such limitation. It additionally has a decent seed creation framework, becoming out of a 25-year-old program at the agricultural college in Jabalpur which was financed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
About 60% of the chickpea assortments planted in the state are as good as ever, says Gaur. In Andhra Pradesh, practically 100% of the assortments are new, however chickpea is a moderately new harvest there.
The soybean-chickpea cycle, while gainful, has had harmful outcomes, as well. In parts of Madhya Pradesh where it's rotated with soybean, the soil has been exhausted of molybdenum, a component that empowers leguminous plants to actuate catalysts in their knobs, which help assimilate and store nitrogen from the air. Studies by SC Gupta, head researcher (soil science) at Rafi Ahmed Kidwai College of Agriculture, have indicated that by covering 1 kg of seed with only 1 gm of ammonium molybdate—an additional expense of '400 for every hectare—chickpea yield can go up by 3 quintals. This advancement was acknowledged and the legislature provided the micronutrient at a markdown for a long time under the National Food Security Mission. Be that as it may, ranchers couldn't get it in the last planting season in light of the administration's inability to contract supplies in time.
Madhya Pradesh's normal chickpea efficiency is 1,160 kg for every hectare, higher than the national normal of 972 kg. Inside the state, normal yields are higher in Chhindwara region (CM Kamal Nath's voting demographic), however the 16 locale of the Malwa and Vindhya levels, of which Indore and Bhopal, individually, are most popular, have bigger zones under chickpea and higher creation. Chickpea is remarkable among beats, in that solitary 15% of the yield is utilized as dal, says Singh. About 60% is devoured as besan or added to atta to strengthen it with fiber and protein. The rest is utilized as seed—it takes 80-100 kg of seed to plant a hectare.
The creation of pigeon pea has additionally multiplied—from 2.36 million tons in 2003-04 to almost 5 million tons in 2016-17. In any case, it has not balanced out.
The advancement of a mid year assortment, which develops in 55-60 days, has extended the mung bean territory in Punjab and Haryana as a result of the forbiddance on early planting of rice, to save groundwater. The harvest is developed after wheat, and being a vegetable yield, improves soil richness. Summer mung bean creation has multiplied in the course of recent years, however the yield of the stormy season (kharif) crop has been declining for a lot of that period.
To balance out costs, higher heartbeats yield should be supplemented with better stockpiling advancements. Entire heartbeats don't keep long. Within the sight of dampness, they get swarmed with bruchids (lice-like nuisances) called ghun in Hindi. These enter during the blossoming arrange and get embodied in the seed coat. Singh suggests lighting entire heartbeats with low portions of gamma beams. The IIPR has discovered the machines utilized by Kanpur tanneries to purify calfskin to be compelling. Gaur says triple-layer sacks, created by Purdue University of the US, are a minimal effort, compelling, and bug spray free strategy for putting away heartbeats. They cut off oxygen flexibly and forestall bug pervasion. Created under an undertaking financed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the packs have been utilized adequately to store cowpea (lobia) in Africa. The Odisha government has given 60,000 of these sacks to ranchers in the express this year for putting away groundnut. ICRISAT has suggested these for pulses too.

Leaving Caste Behind and Moving Together Into a Future of Development
Rising above caste and corrupt practices the new government of India is looking forward to establishing an era that will take the nation on the path of development. Many initiatives of previous governments were mired in controversy and made no headway because of corruption and caste-based favoritism. While projects were launched with great fanfare, nothing seemed to be working on the ground. This was because of the massive corruption that affected the processes. Scandals used to regularly rock the government and this also had an impact on the progress of projects.

Duttatray Hosbole of RSS, Vishnu Dutt Sharma, Ganesh Malviya BJP
The incumbent prime minister has set out an ambitious program to rid the nation of corrupt practices and all caste-based favoritism. The present dispensation has launched multiple programs to give a boost to the economy and the infrastructure. This has resulted in a steady transformation of various aspects of life. For instance, the highway infrastructure plans of the government are meant to help connect every region in India through superior roads and highways. This helps to cut down the time taken to travel from one place to another, in addition to improving the quality of travel. Poor quality roads have an adverse impact in multiple areas, as a world bank study proved.
High-speed rail networks are available in all modern nations and India did not have one despite the significant progress in rail network capability. When the PM took over, the search was started for bringing in high-speed rail networks to reduce the time taken for traveling between important locations. This resulted in the zeroing in on the bullet train. The plan has progressed smoothly and the agreements have been signed between all the stakeholders and the project is going ahead as planned with land acquisition and other groundbreaking actions proceeding smoothly. When the project is concluded, India would have the privilege of joining an exclusive club of nations that have high-speed connectivity.  With better infrastructure, high-speed rail and road networks, the time taken for travel will be considerably cut down and the quality of travel will also help travelers have a better experience.

Ganesh Malviya of BJP with Bhojpuri Superstar Ravi Kishan
The policies of governments need the support of parliamentarians and it is, therefore, necessary that the BJP continue to win elections to have the numbers to support the bills that are necessary for introducing various development projects. As a cadre-based party, the credit for the two consecutive victories in the general elections and the expansion of the party into various regions goes to the hard work of the workers.
The election managers and leaders who handled the campaigns need particular mention. Loyalists like Ganesh Malviya, have helped the party taste success in different elections. Bhopal based Ganesh Malviya has a string of credits to his name. He has helped the big names in the BJP successfully fight elections and has often been deputed to various locations to take charge of organizational strengthening efforts. He has been closely associated with the Prime Minister in his earlier stint and has helped bigwigs like Ghanshyam Tiwari, Narendra Tomar and Anand Vijayvargiya taste success in elections by handling the campaigns professionally.

The Failure Of The Gujarat Government
30th October 2022, this day was a deploring day for India and its citizens, on this day the Morbi Bridge in Gujrat collapsed. Morbi Bridge was a suspension bridge build in the 19th century during the British rule in India by Waghji Thakore(Local Maharaja). The bridge  was present on the Machhu River spanning over 230m long. At the time of the Bridge collapse there were almost 600 people present on the bridge, thrice the limit, in spite of the warning, a large crowd still gathered on the bridge, and many the people there began shaking it, which ultimately led to the bridge's collapse. While 141 people have been declared dead and many still missing.
How did it happen?
Given how old the bridge was, it was only logical that it was closed. However, the bridge was reopened on October 26. But the bridge collapsed four days after it had been inaugurated. It was a tragic incident that resulted in almost 140 deaths. An immediate search operation was launched to locate and save the more than 200 people who were inside at the moment of the bridges collapse.
In 2008 the contract for the bridge was given to the Oreva Group. The Oreva Group was allotted 2 Cr Rupees for reparations for the Morbi Bridge. It was undoubtedly incorrect for the Oreva Group to accept the contract, but how can you suppose a company like the Oreva Group would take on a risky project like this in a subject they have no prior experience in? Moreover, the government is not so stupid to award such a risky contract to a watch manufacturer. Perhaps the Oreva Group had engineers who had repaired bridges in the past, giving them the confidence to repair the bridge; otherwise, it doesn't even make sense that they would have accepted the contract.
The cables on the suspension bridge were rusty, and the only repairs made to replace the floor with aluminium, yes, aluminium. Exasperatingly, not even the worst management mistakes result in 150 deaths, yet this terrible catastrophe left almost 150 people dead.
The Action Taken By The Government
The Gujarat government has so far detained nine individuals in accordance with Sections 304, 308, and 114 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Two people who had connections to the Oreva Group have been detained along with two contractors, two ticket clerks, and three security guards.
Is this a joke that the Gujarat Government arrested the ticket collector? They did so in the pretext of taking action. Given the impending Gujarat Legislative Assembly Elections, it is a failure on the part of both the Gujarat Government and the BJP. The Gujarat Government has announced compensation for the dead, injured and families which were affected. But can they bring back the dead, can they give a child his mother or father back, can they give a mother her child back, no they cannot. The BJP has to accept their mistake.
It's not about the power or money, it's about responsibility and trust in which the Gujarat Government has failed itself. Once shattered, trust is something that can never be repaired, and the Gujarat Government has broken it. They have failed to apprehend the offenders, to safeguard their citizens, to fulfil their obligations, and as a result, the Gujarati people no longer have faith in them.
Give the Gujarat government one more chance and let's hope that such an accident won't occur again. Past examples of such management failures include the Bhopal Gas Leak, Kashmir Hindu Genocide (which the government at the time actually encouraged), the 1954 Kumbh Mela Stampede, the 2008 Mumbai Attacks, and countless others that resulted in far more fatalities than the Morbi Bridge.
Om Shanti Om
