Zomom and Zavok

Zavok & Zomom

Out of all of the Deadly Six (and excluding Master Zik), Zavok and Zomom are the two zetis who have known each other the longest as Zomom was the first to join Master Zik and Zavok on their journey to build their new pack. The pair put a lot of trust in each other and have an unspoken agreement that if anything were to happen to Zavok, Zomom would step in to be the one in charge of protecting the rest of the pack.

Zavok has learned overtime to adapt his speech to each member of the Deadly Six, something which began with Zomom. As Zomom sometimes needs a little longer to process what is being told to him Zavok learned to slow his speech, use shorter sentences and even leave longer pauses when speaking to him to make sure he understands everything.

They train together a lot, seeing as Zomom is the only one with enough strength and endurance to keep up with Zavok and battle him all-out without risking getting hurt. Additionally, Zomom is also the one who handles Zavok whenever he goes through one of his more aggressive outbursts. Said outbursts are relatively rare, but Zomom still learned how to help Zavok through them by keeping him away from the rest of the pack ; wrestling and tossing him around until the anger or whatever other feeling prompted the outburst fades away.

Finally, when it comes to fighting, they pair up occasionally (often with Zazz as a third) when Zavok needs something torn to the ground and destroyed fast or when he needs a large group of adversaries taken out all in one go.

I just finished reading your newest masterpiece and I'm enchanted. Seeing all the characters handled so perfectly, each with their own specific traits and speaking habits - just brilliant. And the way you described the boys infuriating fear of Boris made ME feel it, I could see all of them standing there united, bracing for whatever was coming only for Sasha to finally annihilate Boris' ass. I caved and made her aaahhhh.... ちさちゃん を まかせて! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ○ Chisa Haizono (灰園 知佐) ○ "灰" means "ash, as in "ash grey" ...hence the color scheme! ..."haizono" is "ash garden" while "chisa" is "wisdom" and "assistance" ;;; ○ 14 ○ only known relative is her father, who writes for the newspaper. ○ likes sleeping and taking random naps during the day, photography, animals, and cheering her friends on ○ doesn't like loud noises or waking up early, bread (THE HORROR), school work, puns, and sore losers ○ spends a lot of her time snoozing and can often be found asleep in the most random places...she doesn't get much sleep at night because its when she trains. ○ is a great photographer! her father sometimes relies on her for shots at the Stadium for the paper. she can be a bit obnoxious when it comes to getting pictures of her favorite bladers and their beys.... ○ a bit air-headed and distant, but, she's always friendly and means well. to her, blading is all about having fun, whether you win or lose! she's peaceful, and it's almost impossible to upset in her in any way. others tend to get frustrated at her easily for how simple she seems and how things often go over her head. she doesn't mind though. she lives at her own pace! ○ doesn't seem to own any clothes that fit her properly...everything is droopy. ○ despite being told otherwise, is absolutely certain Keru and Besu are their own entities. as such, she is happy to treat them as such. two more friends! ○ her bey is Chaos Chimerun, containing a chimera creature. a defense type. ○ doesn't blade much herself; prefers to watch and take pictures, all while cheering overenthusiastically for her friends. ○ absolutely has a crush on Kensuke. not smart enough to realize this herself though. he's just...the EXTRA special friend. ○ she really hates bread and argues with Valt about this often. so bland! no taste! snacks are way better!

Whos you're favorite member of jackal squad (that isn't infinite)?

Okay so instead of typing a new response, I'm going to include a snippet of something I wrote for my Infinite Masterpost that I'm still working on for @bey-blade-bread (sorry that is taking forever!) Trois is the unofficial name she was given, but in my canon her name is Vardo (derived from ვარდი or Vardi aka Rose). She’s the only female in Squad Jackal, and the story I gave her is probably one of my favourites.

Vardo doesn't remember her early childhood, her earliest memories being alone in the forest. She was a survivalist and essentially raised herself from very early on, and she’s quiet by nature (but not mute, selective mute maybe? I haven’t decided that yet). When she was maybe 4 however, she located another jackal (Duex aka Zviad) and began following him quietly. When his camp was packed up she’d scavenge from it, and kept to the shadows so as to avoid being seen. Zviad caught on rather quickly due to his experience but Vardo was incredibly stealthy: he left extra food behind on purpose for her because he didn't want to scare her off.

This little mutual stalking game played out for a while, but eventually Zviad just sorta went “I know you’re there, you might as well come sit over here with me by the fire where it’s warm.” Vardo became his adopted daughter, and the two were inseparable from that moment on.

Despite her isolation from society, Vardo was far from feral and in fact more the opposite; her standards were extremely high because she fell in love with the idea of the city life being perfect. She and Zviad only agreed to join Finn and Imeda (Quatro) because she wanted a mansion outside of WindmillI Isle.

She’s a jackal of few words, but Vardo offered Finn a form of comfort the other jackals couldn't, because femininity was something familiar. Vardo saw him as a younger cousin, but was emotionally distant as she’d rather listen to Zviad gossip about the other jackals in French :”)

A small part of her wanted approval from Tariel (Uno) but she'd never ask and he’d never give in, but their appreciation for one another was unspoken. Their quietness balanced nicely with Zviad and Imeda’s varying forms of loudness, making Finn the middle ground. Vardo was the most neutrally aligned of the four subordinates, so Finn could rely on her at the risk of potential betrayals or rebellion. He never pushed her too hard but knew she was capable of whatever task he settled on giving her. Vardo was not squeamish and made her kills quick and painless before leaving after losing interest.

Although I do appreciate all my jackal interpretations, I think Trois has the most appealing one. I'll talk about the others in my eventual masterpost or if people ask for more beforehand, but right now here she is! I was going to draw her but I've been having art issues recently so I'll just provide a song as per usual
