AM Rewatch Thoughts S1, E1

In honor of only a few more days before the last Andi Mack episode ever, I thought a rewatch was in order.  Will I get emotional, probably.

Stating the obvious here, but OMG FETUS GHC.

I still remember watching the pilot episode when it came out live, barely 5 seconds into the show and looking at my brother and being like “Idc if it’s not canon and Disney wouldn’t go there, Cyrus is gay.” And BOY DID THEY GO THERE.  Still shook. Will never recover.  Can’t believe how quickly I caught onto that one.

We stan (1) unathletic boy, who apparently can’t even push a bike up a driveway.  What. An. Icon.

Also we stan a short haired main character/queen that HIGHKEY gave me the final confidence to finally cut my hair short.  Not kidding.  Representation matters.  We need more short haired female icons in the world.

“That music fair where they supposedly get naked...did you?!” Disney wilding from Ep 1. Honestly my favorite.

OMG, I’m so dumb, I’m over here wondering whose house this was in this S3 episode bc Amber’s family can’t afford a house like that and duh it’s Cece’s house I can’t believe I forgot.  In my defense, they stopped showing the front after the 1st season.

OMG, it’s so wierd watching this show when they do anything at Liberty Park considering I’ve been to that park in person now.  Which btw the TV does not do justice to how HIGH that hill is.  Also, baby Jandi way back when they were shipable aww. Frisbee date.

Honestly though, now I kinda miss “Amber Alert”

“I’m not like you, I’m not cool or adventurous” Oh Andi...if only you knew what you’d get up to a year from now.

Also for all the Andi haters that say she overreacts, girl was dramatic from day 1. And honestly the best part about her.

I still cannot get over how emotionally charged the pilot episode was, like damn Disney killing us from Day 1.

The period joke will never not be iconic.

If Andi’s shirt says “AndiMan” why does Jonah’s say “Condor”?!

.Excuse me while I get emotional over Bex not being ready to tell Andi about Bowie CAUSE THEY JUST GOT MARRIED. Such growth.  And honestly, 90% of what drew me into the show in the first season was Bex being an immature adult bc honestly relatable.
