Am I rather pretty, now? …Kind of.. rattish altogether, maybe… But there is that potential… ” he hums softly in his contemplation. “I'll get used to it all…” Maybe he would. He was still adjusting to the feeling of two hearts beating underneath his chest again.
He wasn't Rory.
Rory and the Master were entirely separate individuals. The Master didn't have the capacity to be Rory Williams. Where, in the Master, was there space for a man like that? There wasn’t. He had proven that well enough to himself already.
