Honestly, we just don't talk enough about how Clark discovered his powers. Or young Clark in general. And personally, I think that's very unfortunate of us.

Not to mention he was the quintessential "aliens crash land into a farm in the middle of nowhere" around the same time in history that America had its alien crop circle conspiracy phase/obsession.

Just sayin. One could milk a great deal of entertainment out of that...

Some kid at school: "Good gravy. Did y'all hear what the radio folk are all preachin' these days? Aliens are crashing into our fields left an' right! Ain't that the darndest thing..."

Clark, 12, seeing all his classmates in x-ray because his vision turned on a day ago and he can't turn it off: "uh- uh huh."

Alternatively:

Teacher: "I just don't know what to do Mrs. Kent. Clark was such a a well behaved boy an' now he just ain't listenin' to a thing I say!"

*Clark, twitchy and exhausted because his super hearing zeroed in on 1 specific cricket that hasn't shut up for the past three days*

Mrs. Kent: "...Well I'm sure it's a phase, all the boys would rather be playin' in the outdoors at this age anyway." *Seriously considers wacking Clark on the head with a tool to give the poor boy some sleep but rethinking it because last week they found out he was invincible. (Not that she would ever hurt her son anyway)*

After the failed attempt to summon Golb, Betty continue to search for another "cure", one of the method is removing a gem♦️

A gem can't just be taken out of the crown, it need a new host to be "offically removed" sooooooo she use it on herself and BAM Ice king turn into that losing all sense of humanity and is just an animal now

Under extreme grief of her fuck up the gem madness take over making her THE ICE MAGICIAN❄️✨

Betty now IM starting to lost her memories and begin searching for her beloved Simon, the old Simon, completely forgetting the fact that he turn into Ice King a while ago

Marcy is extremely pissed off at Betty and this will be elaborate later B)

I enjoyed the ending but I can't stop thinking about how it is/was to be fused with Golb for Betty. Like? Was it painful? Was she fighting to keep him in control? Or was she just. Chilling. Idk

I also like to think that there's a part in both of them that is still deeply in love with each other, but they have accepted that their relationship wasn't the best, and they also can't see each other because she is in,,, wherever Golb is.

And in this AU, with time, Betty slowly melts within Golb, losing her control/sanity, to the point where they end up being one and the same completely. Simon's presence helps her get a grip, but the more time she spends far away from him (and anyone else) she descends more and more. In the end, she fully "transcends" (whatever that means), perhaps reaching some sort of enlightenment, and becomes fully fused with Golb. But also somewhat fulfilled and happy (?) Like she found her purpose independently from Simon. But also she's kinda insane. And a chaos god who craves destruction. So yk.

Or, her love for Simon mixing with Golb, it could create this sort of fixation/fascination, observing him in every universe. It gets to a point where she has watched his every second on every universe, and craving more, she starts haunting Simon in his dreams.

I'm still building this AU so nothing is set on stone. Just thoughts (??
