The fandom when Anya is nice to jimmy and compliments/butters him up after the crash: obviously this is a fawn response. She doesn’t actually think these things about jimmy, she is simply trying to protect herself against a volatile, unstable person by placating him

The fandom when curly tries to placate jimmy by telling Jimmy he’d fix things, after being very nervous about jimmy’s anger and reaction when talking to Anya right beforehand and his heart racing so hard on the way to confront jimmy that he’s likely on the verge of a panic or anxiety attack: hmm. Obviously everything curly is saying to jimmy here is completely genuine and not motivated by anything. He obviously doesn’t care about the fact jimmy raped Anya and only cares about helping jimmy at the detriment to Anya. He’s a rape apologist. There could literally be no other potential explanation for why curly is saying the things he is saying right now. Let’s take everything curly is saying here completely at face value and not analyze anything else about Curly’s behavior or the rest of the scene.

"20 MEN ARRESTED ON BETTING CHARGES IN TWO POLICE RAIDS," Toronto Globe. October 31, 1933. Page 13 & 14. ---- Seeking to Escape by Back Door From Spadina Avenue House, Coatless Men Encounter Police Stationed There-Eleven Held in Carlton Street Rooms --- CELLULOID USED FOR BETS, CLAIM --- Twenty arrests were made yesterday when police made raids on two different premises, one an alleged gaming house at 394 Spadina Avenue, and the other at 115 Carlton Street, where, it is alleged, a common betting place was being conducted. Of the twenty prisoners, three were held as being keepers and the remaining seventeen as frequenters.

Harry Feder, 392 Spadina Avenue, and Max Shapiro, 394 Spadina Avenue, were arrested, charged with keeping a gaming house in the rear of a cleaning and pressing parlor at No. 394. The men, police said, were playing stuss for money on a table in a back room when police rushed in, seizing $99 in money from the table and decks of playing cards used in playing the Russian card game. Officers Dash In. Police claim a rake-off was being taken on the game. Plainclothesmen Coulson and Lee stationed themselves. at a door leading from the back of the building to Nassau Street, while Plainclothesmen Houston and Train dashed around Nassau Street, through the cleaning and pressing parlor to the room the game was in. When Houston and Train were sighted, the back door was unbolted and there was a mad dash of coatless men to get out. Cards were dropped on the floor. As the men emerged from the back door they were herded back by the outstretched arms of Plainclothes- men Coulson and Lea, who expected an attempted escape from the back door, and for that reason stationed themselves there in readiness.

Money Is Seized. Feder, police said, was banking the game, and most of the bills on the table were piled where he was standing. Police managed to get this money from the table as well as the cards, which were spread over the table.

Shapiro and Feder were allowed bail of $500 each. Ben Frisch, 730 College Street: Morris Kittich, 310 Clinton Street; James Pearlman, 211 McCaul Strect: Harry Wolfe, 337 Palmerston Avenue: Peter Boldish, 303% Spadina Avenue; Fred Horchoryk, 89 Gorevale Avenue, and Arthur Cooper. 64 Gloucester Street, charged with being found in, were released on ball of $100 cash.

Rooms Over Store. When a door leading to two front rooms above a store at 115 Carlton Street opened yesterday afternoon to allow a man to leave the place, Plainclothesmen Crawford and McKay were standing in the hallway, and, shoving the door back open, rushed in. Francis Sheehan, tenant of the rooms, was arrested, charged with keeping a betting place, and ten others found sitting about the place reading racing papers were also arrested, charged with being found in a betting place.

Sitting Near Window. On a long piece of celluloid on the top of a table near the front window where Sheehan was sitting, the police claim to have found 130 bets recorded on horse races run at the different United States tracks yesterday. The bets ranged from 50 cents to $2 each. Plainclothesman Crawford reached his arm over Sheehan's shoulder and snatched the piece of celluloid before his presence in the room was known to Sheehan. To police, he is alleged to have said: "You certainly got me good, I was sitting by the open window in readiness to drop the bets out If police walked in." Those held for being found in were:

Jack Gooding, 110 McGill Street; Alex Kyles, 427 Jarvis Street; Robert Robertson, 554 1-2 Yonge Street; James Maetel, 29 Wellesley Street, Jeri Lind, 117 Makland Street; Charles Jenkins, 209 Carlton Street; John Bruce, 12 St. Joseph Street: Fred Mitchell, 140, Carlton Street: William Graham, 12 St. Joseph Street; and Frank Roe, Gloucester Street. Sheehan was allowed bail of $500, and the others were allowed their freedom over night on security of $100 each.

baby comes home from school looking distraught and apocalyptically anxious, and jesse is assuming the absolute worst as he’s like “is everything ok??” and he only becomes more convinced that literally everything is falling apart and something horrible has happened when baby starts crying in response, only for him to piece together over the course of a very long, gasping, runny nose explanation that a kid at school told baby that it’s illegal to draw original my little pony characters and baby didnt know how to break the news to him that hasbro executives are going to come to their house and put them all in prison forever
