Deyga ~ Rose & Mulethi Face Pack and Sun Screen Spf-30 : Review
Before I start with how I came across this brand let me tell you a little bit about it - Deyga, apart from having a very impressive press feature which includes names like Femina, Grazia and Outlook, also has extremely impressive aims and claims! Quite sometime in business, the brand products has been crafted on basic five pillars - Its handcrafted100%pureThe products have been made using traditional recipesThey are cruelty freeIts sustainable to the environment A brand that strongly believes that all organic and natural is the only way to flawless skin. Their ingredients are sourced from best of farms across India. Their products do NOT contain SLS, SLES, Parabens, MEA, DEA, TEA, Petrolatum, Phathalates, Ethoxylates and Silicones. It was around three months back that I received a mail from Deyga.in to review their products and after a few mail exchanges and discussions we settled upon four products to be reviewed two blogs. They were really kind to let me choose any four products from the huge range that they offer. Let me tell you their product ranges from skin care, hair care, oral care to bath & body and wellness and they also extend to baby care and crafted products specially for men! Though very impressed I was, I did not want to go very crazy on my choice. So I picked two of their best sellers and two other I felt I could use in my routine. And I stuck only to skincare and very basic ones to see how their products reacted to my skin. Read the full article

Everteen Natural Intimate Wash Review
Often you hear why is there a separate wash for intimate areas of women and not males. The answer to this question lies in the anatomy of a woman's body. The length of the female urethra is very less as compared to the males which render it more prone to infections. Lets put it this way... a women's body is far more complex than we can imagine. And the topic of intimate hygiene has always been a little vague as we don't discuss it enough and openly. A few weeks back I had written a blog to clear out all such questions that generally come to our minds regarding the topic - https://herlittlespace.com/2019/04/24/why-do-you-need-a-separate-wash-for-your-intimate-areas/ If you have had questions regarding intimate washes and whether to use it or not, I hope the above blog will help you out! Now coming to the intimate wash that I have been using lately. This Everteen Natural Intimate wash was sent to me for a review and I have been using this for a month now.
EVERTEEN NATURAL INTIMATE WASH Claims - Everteen natural intimate wash is scientifically designed to promote body natural vaginal balance and maintain complete vaginal hygiene. Antimicrobial properties of 100% natural active ingredients of Everteen inhibit bacterial growth causing vaginal infection, unpleasant odor, and irritation. Daily use of Everteen helps to prevent infection and gives relief from consistent itching or burning in the vaginal area. Ingredients - Ficus Glomarata (0.3%): Inhibits the growth of E-coli bacteria and vaginal infectionButea Frondosa (0.2%): Covers broad spectrum of antibacterial and antifungal activitySphatica (1%): Constricts blood vessels and delivers a soothing and freshening effectAloewera (1%): Promotes cell regeneration with anti-inflammatory and moisturizing actions. Base to wash-qs
Directions of use: Wash your handsWet the external vaginal areaPour enough quality of Everteen Natural Intimate Wash into the palmApply externally on the vaginal areaRinse thoroughlyUse Everteen Natural Intimate Wash twice daily during morning shower and at night before sleep. Priced at - 180/-INR for 105ml. Shelf Life - Best used within 24 months from the date of mfg. Fragrance - When I said I disliked a few things about the product, its odor is one of them. I dislike that an intimate hygiene product has such a strong artificial smell. However, if you are okay with strong-smelling products this shouldn't be an issue for you. Colour and Texture - One more drawback of the product is that it has this artificial yellow color that I could do away with. The texture is almost watery and is easy to use. Where can you order?! - From Nykaa - click me Read the full article

Boroline, The Self-Sufficient Cream - Review
So I have been voted in the list of top 100 beauty bloggers by Feedspot (Top 100 Indian Beauty Blogs & Websites By Indian Beauty Bloggers) and to celebrate, I had to blog about something that has been in my shelf forever. A cream that has been my go-to since childhood days. Have you ever heard of a cream being passed through generations? If not, then you are going to hear about one here If you are a girl brought up in a Bengali household, there must be a tube of boroline lying somewhere in your shelf right now! Boroline is indeed the quintessential part of a “bongo konya’s” skincare routine. It is something that we have seen our mothers, our grandmothers and sometimes the male members of the family using too. And why not, it’s not just any ordinary cream, but it is a solution to most of our skin problems since childhood.
This iconic self-sufficient cream was a gift to the women of the nation by Gourmohan Dutta, a Bengali merchant in the year 1929. And till today it has it’s popularity and loyal users.- As for me… no matter how many foreign brand products gather in my shelf, but when it comes to dry lips, dry skin on the face, dry hands, elbow, feet, little wounds, scratches or any such skin issue, I reach out to my old friend… Boroline! And boroline is not just for dryness and wounds, it can be used in various ways for your skin. Here I have mentioned a few – Other than the very known uses like Softens dry chapped lipsSmoothen rough handsSmoothen rough elbow and abraded skinHeal cracked heelsSoften chronically dry, chapped, itchy skinHeals sunburns and scars
Other than these conventional uses, Boroline can be used in other ways too. Like – As a Night Cream – No! not a daily night cream but on the few days when your skin is extremely dry and flaky, Boroline can do wonders overnight. Just apply on the affected areas and wake up to supple moisturized cream. As an Under-eye Cream – Those baggy under eyes and dark circles are a problem that you face… try boroline as under-eye cream for a few weeks and you shall be surprised by the difference. As a Handcream – Chuck buying those expensive hand creams and use boroline instead! Use as a Make-up Remover – If you are into heavy makeup and you have dry skin, boroline can be a really good makeup remover and at the same time, it will moisturize the skin. And if the cream is too thick for you just mix it with a little baby oil and it works absolutely great. As a Cuticle Softner - Want an effective cuticle softener for your fingernails and toes that also makes your nails healthier?! Just smear a little amount of boroline on the cuticles and massage gently. Do this every day at bedtime and you shall see a big difference. The best thing about this cream is that it is available in a tube and a tub and both are travel-friendly.
This was my little tribute to the boroline tube that has been passing on to me from my mom. Actually even now when she visits me, apart from all the yummy homemade snacks from home, there is also a tub of boroline all the way from home! So ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't heard or used this product yet, you should right now! And if all the above-mentioned uses and benefits still don't make you want to try it out... Then just think of a Bengali girl you know, remember her dark big eyes, beautiful hair and skin. Let me tell you her secret~~ She owes her beautiful eyes and hair to all the 'maach bhaat' and her beautiful skin to 'surovito antiseptic cream boroline'! And maybe... a little bit of genetics. ;-) Read the full article

FOREST ESSENTIAL TRAVEL SIZE SKIN CARE PRODUCTS REVIEWED
Okay let’s face it, if you are into Ayurveda then Forest Essentials must have been a brand that has been in your bucket list. And for me too, I have been wanting to get my hands on their products for the longest time. Though this luxury Ayurveda brand needs no introduction, I would only say that this brand is hyped for all the right reasons and after using them all I can say is they deliver! A few months back I visited a friend and saw these very beautiful looking mini bottles from Forest Essentials in her cupboard. Before this, I never knew Forest Essentials had travel size products and I was really excited to find out that it does. The fact is forest essential products are really expensive and yet I have wanted to give them a try, and these travel sizes though not cheap but are okay on the pockets. So, I bought a skincare range of these minis for the reason that it was “forest essentials” and I wanted to see how they worked on my skin and also if all the hype about this Ayurveda brand got me really curious. And here is a review of the three products that I picked up ~
DELICATE FACIAL CLEANSER - Kashmiri Saffron & Neem Claims – The first rule of Ayurveda skincare is to cleanse, tone and nourish. The secret to proper cleansing removes dead cells and toxins, clear clogged pores and clean make-up without stripping the skin’s natural oils and moisture content. Promises – Tones. Purifies. Adds glow. Saffron has always been used in traditional formulations for glowing skin, and along with Neem for purifying and deep cleansing. Ingredients – Aqua, Glycerin, Marigold Flower Extract, Kumud Flower Extract, Kewda Leaf Extract, Rose Flower Extract, Anantmool Root Extract, Jasmine Flower Oil, Honey, Nagkesar Leaf Extract, Durva Extract, Neem Leaf Extract, Vitamin E, Saffron Flower Extract Priced at – 325/-INR for 50ml Fragrance – Has a very mild yet soothing smell which definitely reminds you of saffron. Packaging – Comes in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a golden metal screwcap. The packaging is such that the product doesn’t leak and is very travel-friendly. Where can you buy them? - CLICK HERE or HERE You can also pick up the full-size product from HERE My Verdict Let's start with saying, it's been a while I reduced using soap on my face. Yes! I am a follower of K-beauty and double cleansing is a must in this routine. But I stuck to washing my face only with water(unless I have used makeup on my face) until I moved to Chandigarh. It terribly hot, humid and dusty unlike the mountains so I started using one again And this one has been the only face wash that I have in my shelf now. I use it once in the night before following the night routine and I like the fact that it is very light on the skin. It does not dry out my skin and very gently cleans it up. Though I am not sure how it will work for people with really oily skin but for the ones with dry to normal skin type it can work pretty well. Pros - Absolutely chemical freeSmells heavenlyDoes help in reducing pores( do I do not have them I tried on the husband)A little amount does the jobDoes not dry out the skin and is very gentle Cons - Price is on the higher sideMay not work well for people with oily skinDid not see any added glow due to the facewash Will I rebuy? - I might. The next product that I am reviewing is one of my favorite and I plan to buy a full-size product of this one!
FACIAL TONER – Panchpushp Claims – This hydrosol or floral water comes from the condensation collected during the steam distillation of flowers when extracting essential oils. The skin requires a gentle boost after cleansing to rehydrate and tone it and prepare it for your nourishing routine. Our pure and active water-based toners are made floral, fruit and herbal extracts, captured and crystallized at the height of potency, essential to Ayurvedic philosophy; to hydrate, tone and revive skin. Rose has cooling, soothing and moisturizing properties. It is naturally hydrating and its seductive floral scent promotes a feeling of well being and harmony. Marigold or Calendula has a high content of flavonoids, that act as anti-oxidants in the body. Bela helps to retain moisture in the skin. Kewda is an anti-oxidant and cools the system. Saffron gives skin a warm glow. How to use – Spray onto face and neck whenever required to hydrate and freshen the skin. Ingredients – 100% Natural Steam Distilled Rose Flower Water, Marigold Flower Infusion, Kewda Flower Infusion, Mogra Flower Oil, Glycerin, Saffron Flower Infusion Priced at – 400/-INR for 50ml Fragrance – Has a very fresh and floral fragrance that makes you feel fresh instantly. Packaging – Comes in a brown translucent sturdy plastic spray bottle with a cover. This again does not leak when dumbed in a bag with hundreds of other stuff and is definitely travel-friendly packing. Where can you buy them - CLICK HERE or HERE My Verdict I am addicted to this toner! It feels so fresh and awakens your senses as soon as you spay it on your face. It gives a cooling sensation to the face and is one of the best toners for summers. It does not irritate the skin in any way, hydrates, refreshes, cools your skin and gets absorbed to the skin easily. You can use it as a toner and also a mist. It works wonderfully well both ways! Pros - Smells exoticCompletely ayurvedicDoes tend to make skin softer with a nice glowDoes not contain alcoholRefreshing and cool to the skinWorks for all skin types Cons - The only con for me is the price of the product is a little on the higher side. Will I rebuy? - YES!!! The last product for the review is something that I used at my friend’s place and also the first product I used from Forest Essentials.
FACIAL MOISTURIZER – Sandalwood &Orange Peel Claims – Easily absorbed, this unique light formulation provides essential nutrients to the skin, restoring its natural firmness and hydration. The antioxidant, moisturizing and healing properties of Basil, Ashwagandha and Barley protein reduce harmful effects of free radicals and provide nourishment. SPF 25 protects the skin from harmful effects of UVA and UVB. Ingredients – Aqua, Almond Kernal Oil(certified and organic), Olive fruits oil(certified and organic), Tender Coconut Water, Ashwagandha Root Extract, Sweet Orange Peel Extract, Holy Basil Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Shea Butter(certified and organic), Zinc Oxide, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice(certified and organic), Hydrolyzed Barley Protein, Vetiver Root Extract, Sandalwood Oil Priced at – 475/-INR for 50ml Fragrance – The moisturizer has a mild floral yet ayurvedic kinda smell which is calming to your senses. Packaging – The packaging is very much like the face wash. It comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a golden metal screw cap. It doesn’t leak and is very travel-friendly. Where can you buy them? - CLICK HERE or HERE My Verdict This thick milky moisturizer smells strong yet good and lasts long. Blends easily and gives a very healthy feel to the skin. I have been using it as a day cream and it's non-greasy even on hot days. But it is not a light moisturizer so it might not work for people with oily skin so its best suited for dry, combination or normal skin type. Pros - It comes with 25 SPF and I absolutely love skincare products with UV protection in themSmells very ayurvedic yet fruityCompletely ayurvedicWorks great for my skin type(combination and sensitive)It hydrates for a long time and keeps the skin soft, supple and glowing. Cons - Price is on the higher sideMay not be the best choice for people with oily skin Forest Essential offers international shipping if you purchase directly from their website - https://www.forestessentialsindia.com Their products are 100% natural and free from any Parabens, GMO, Sulphates, PEGS, Formaldehyde, Petroleum, Artificial color, synthetic fragrance.
