Everteen Natural Intimate Wash Review
Tumblr media
Often you hear why is there a separate wash for intimate areas of women and not males. The answer to this question lies in the anatomy of a woman's body. The length of the female urethra is very less as compared to the males which render it more prone to infections. Lets put it this way... a women's body is far more complex than we can imagine. And the topic of intimate hygiene has always been a little vague as we don't discuss it enough and openly. A few weeks back I had written a blog to clear out all such questions that generally come to our minds regarding the topic - https://herlittlespace.com/2019/04/24/why-do-you-need-a-separate-wash-for-your-intimate-areas/ If you have had questions regarding intimate washes and whether to use it or not, I hope the above blog will help you out! Now coming to the intimate wash that I have been using lately. This Everteen Natural Intimate wash was sent to me for a review and I have been using this for a month now.

Priced at - 180/-INR for 105ml. Shelf Life - Best used within 24 months from the date of mfg. Fragrance - When I said I disliked a few things about the product, its odor is one of them. I dislike that an intimate hygiene product has such a strong artificial smell. However, if you are okay with strong-smelling products this shouldn't be an issue for you. Colour and Texture - One more drawback of the product is that it has this artificial yellow color that I could do away with. The texture is almost watery and is easy to use. What Is Rose Hip Seed Oil and What Are The Benefits? The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil - Review
Tumblr media
If you have read my previous blogs, you will know my love for facial oils. Weirdly, I use them the whole year round even in the hot and humid summers. How do I use them in summers can be a different topic some other day but why do I use them? Well… Talking about facial oils, rosehip seed oil from The Ordinary has been my favorite for the last year now and this is my third bottle. When I first saw this name, I went through a few blogs and articles as to why this oil was such a craze among skincare addicts. And what I found is this oil could be a game-changer if it suited your skin.
Tumblr media
Rose hips with leaves What is Rose Hip Oil? Rosehip oil is harvested from the seed of rose bushes and is supposed to be loaded with vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids. And all these can supposedly work in wonderful ways for your skin especially if you have dry, dull and acne-prone skin. To give you a clearer idea, it is actually the round part of the rose right under the petals. It’s where the seeds are located. Parts of the rose plant have always been known for having medicinal values and they are readily available in the markets in the form of supplements or even tea. Rosehip oil gained its popularity after the Victoria Secret model Miranda Kerr mentioned she uses it regularly on her skin and why not, she has gorgeous skin! Benefits of Rosehip Oil Being rich in essential fatty acids, it can work as a great moisturizing agent. And if you have dry skin, this oil is worth giving a try.A combination of fatty acids with Vitamin A and C helps to reduce wrinkles and other signs of aging. The astringent property of rosehip oil can help tighten your pores and brighten your skin. If you have been suffering from uneven skin tone then this vitamin-packed oil shall act as a potion for you. For sensitive skin, its better and easier to use than lemon which might cause irritation. With the presence of fatty acids and different vitamins makes the oil a potential product for fading acne scars or any sort of unwanted marks. Rosehip oil works like any other beauty treatment out there, everything doesn’t work for everyone. But if you love using oils and if this oil suits your skin, it works wonders. I personally choose using Rosehip seed oil from The Ordinary, for the reasons that I had heard all good things about this brand. I had already used their Peeling solution and absolutely loved it! And also for the reason that their products don’t cause a hole in the pockets.

100% ORGANIC COLD-PRESSED ROSEHIP SEED OIL BY THE ORDINARY Description - Deliver daily support to your complexion with the 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil from The Ordinary. Cold-pressed, the luxurious oil undergoes complex extraction, which preserves its superior quality and allows it to deliver maximum benefits. Rich in Linolenic Acid and Pro-Vitamin A, the formula is able to deliver an array of anti-aging and photo-aging benefits, as well as visibly improving other skin conditions. The hydrating oil penetrates the skin and works to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration to reveal a youthful and uniform complexion. Ingredients - Rosa Canina Seed Oil Application - Apply once a day to the face, ideally at bedtime after application of water-based treatments. Fragrance - It does not contain added fragrance and does not smell like rose. It does have a very distinct typical oil-like smell which is not at all very irritating. It smells very natural, like any oil. Price – I have seen it vary in different websites. Where to buy? – I got my one from my favorite Instagram shop SkinBlissSkin. But you can also find it on websites like www.beautybay.com and www.amazon.in Here are some links to help you –
Tumblr media
MY VERDICT  It’s been a while I have been using rosehip seed oil on my face and neck. Because the oil appeared a little thick, I researched quite a lot before starting to use it. I was not sure if this thick oil would go well on my sensitive, combination skin. I was proven wrong and how! Though the oil looks thick it is super light on the skin and I was impressed by how quickly it was absorbed. There was no breakout and my skin felt moisturized and even-toned after use.
Tumblr media
I have been using it in my bedtime skincare routine( I usually use facial oils only at bedtime) and it has been working pretty well. It is advised to use after using water-based products, so this is the first product that goes to my skin after toning. I just take 3 drops of the hip seed oil mixed with 2 drops of tea tree oil and massage gently for sometime before applying serum and a night gel. The major differences that I noticed after using the oil for so long - My face moisturizes well before sleeping and I get up with my skin feeling healthy and not dry or flaky.I have seen a good improvement in my hyperpigmentation. My skin is more even-toned and the pimple marks that I had has vanished. I might just increase the number of drops I use on my skin but this product shall be a constant for some time. Will I re-buy? - This is already my third bottle and I do continue to use it for a while for now. Do I recommend it? - Definitely! But make sure your skin reacts well to oils. Works wonders for acne-prone and flaky skin, but again it's best to do a patch test before including it in your skin routine. Read the full article

FOREST ESSENTIAL TRAVEL SIZE SKIN CARE PRODUCTS REVIEWED
Tumblr media
Okay let’s face it, if you are into Ayurveda then Forest Essentials must have been a brand that has been in your bucket list. And for me too, I have been wanting to get my hands on their products for the longest time. Though this luxury Ayurveda brand needs no introduction, I would only say that this brand is hyped for all the right reasons and after using them all I can say is they deliver! A few months back I visited a friend and saw these very beautiful looking mini bottles from Forest Essentials in her cupboard. Before this, I never knew Forest Essentials had travel size products and I was really excited to find out that it does. The fact is forest essential products are really expensive and yet I have wanted to give them a try, and these travel sizes though not cheap but are okay on the pockets. So, I bought a skincare range of these minis for the reason that it was “forest essentials” and I wanted to see how they worked on my skin and also if all the hype about this Ayurveda brand got me really curious. And here is a review of the three products that I picked up ~
Tumblr media
DELICATE FACIAL CLEANSER - Kashmiri Saffron & Neem Claims – The first rule of Ayurveda skincare is to cleanse, tone and nourish. The secret to proper cleansing removes dead cells and toxins, clear clogged pores and clean make-up without stripping the skin’s natural oils and moisture content. Promises – Tones. Purifies. Adds glow. Saffron has always been used in traditional formulations for glowing skin, and along with Neem for purifying and deep cleansing. Ingredients – Aqua, Glycerin, Marigold Flower Extract, Kumud Flower Extract, Kewda Leaf Extract, Rose Flower Extract, Anantmool Root Extract, Jasmine Flower Oil, Honey, Nagkesar Leaf Extract, Durva Extract, Neem Leaf Extract, Vitamin E, Saffron Flower Extract Priced at – 325/-INR for 50ml Fragrance – Has a very mild yet soothing smell which definitely reminds you of saffron. Packaging – Comes in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a golden metal screwcap. The packaging is such that the product doesn’t leak and is very travel-friendly. Where can you buy them? - CLICK HERE or HERE You can also pick up the full-size product from HERE My Verdict Let's start with saying, it's been a while I reduced using soap on my face. Yes! I am a follower of K-beauty and double cleansing is a must in this routine. But I stuck to washing my face only with water(unless I have used makeup on my face) until I moved to Chandigarh. It terribly hot, humid and dusty unlike the mountains so I started using one again And this one has been the only face wash that I have in my shelf now. I use it once in the night before following the night routine and I like the fact that it is very light on the skin. It does not dry out my skin and very gently cleans it up. Though I am not sure how it will work for people with really oily skin but for the ones with dry to normal skin type it can work pretty well. Pros - Absolutely chemical freeSmells heavenlyDoes help in reducing pores( do I do not have them I tried on the husband)A little amount does the jobDoes not dry out the skin and is very gentle Cons - Price is on the higher sideMay not work well for people with oily skinDid not see any added glow due to the facewash Will I rebuy? - I might. The next product that I am reviewing is one of my favorite and I plan to buy a full-size product of this one!
