Day 90: Friday March 31, 2023 - “Swim Baby Swim”
For the last three weeks William has been taking daily lessons in the pool with Miss Nicole, learning how to swim, or at least, learning to save himself if he were to fall into the pool and he’s starting to pick it up.   I went with them today to see him float and kick, and even more impressive - take coaching.  He can float!  He can swim!  He can even climb out! Incredible.  He hates it - cries and screams the whole way but he’s brave and does it and we have to just trust that its all worthwhile; like the sign says, Drowning is preventable.   This is the best thing we could do right now for him. Audrie prepped me for it being traumatic - but it really wasnt all that bad.  I clapped for him and said Good Job over and over and over again (later he’d start repeating it to me for who knows what) and I was just really thrilled seeing him float out on his own. What a kid!
This is a great gift.  Uncle Dave and Aunt Jane invested in this for their peace of mind too and made this possible for our guy.   Giving him the gift of being a fish. I can’t wait to see how great he gets this summer at home with this great foundation.   On Monday we start into the final stretch where he starts getting in with his clothes!
Song: Cody Johnson - Human
Quote: “When we are disconnected from our hearts we’re disconnected from our truth.” ~Robin Sharma

The Self Improvement Quote - You Need to Hear!
Tumblr media
Are you feeling stuck or lacking in motivation? If so, you've come to the right place! Everyone can benefit from self-improvement, whether in their personal or professional lives. What's better than to find a self improvement quote that resonates with you.
Finding inspiration in the form of quotes is a great way to get started on our journey to self-improvement. Even when things get tough, these simple but powerful words of wisdom can help us gain perspective, stay focused, and keep moving forward.
Self-improvement is an ongoing process that necessitates consistent effort, dedication, and focus. It's not always easy, and we all experience setbacks and difficulties along the way.
The good news is that we are not alone! There are numerous resources available to help us stay motivated and inspired, and the self-improvement quote is one of the most powerful tools in our self-improvement toolbox.
Prepare to be motivated, inspired, and ready to conquer the world! I hope you find a self improvement quote that resonates with you.
Here are some of the benefits of seeking out any self-improvement quote:
They can help you gain perspective: When we're feeling overwhelmed or stuck, all we need is a fresh perspective to see things in a new light. Self-improvement quotes can provide a new perspective on a situation, allowing us to see things from a different perspective and gain the clarity we need to move forward.
They can help you stay motivated: Self-improvement takes time, and it's easy to lose motivation along the way. Inspirational quotes can help us stay on track and remember why we started in the first place.
They can help you maintain a positive attitude: It's no secret that having a positive attitude is essential for success. Even when things get tough, self-improvement quotes can help us stay positive and hopeful.
They can be a source of direction: We all need a little guidance or direction in our lives from time to time. Self-improvement quotes can provide valuable insights and advice, allowing us to more easily navigate life's ups and downs.
They can provide inspiration: The most significant advantage of self-improvement quotes is that they can be extremely inspiring. A well-crafted quote has the power to move our hearts, stir our souls, and motivate us to be our best selves.
So, if you're feeling stuck or need some motivation, look for some self-improvement quotes. You never know, they might just be the motivation you need to continue on your path to self-improvement.

YEAR IN REVIEW
2022 in Review: Quotes of the Year!
By Team TVLine / December 18 2022, 9:00 AM PST
Best TV Quotes 2022

Anthony Bridgerton confessed his true feelings for Kate Sharma. This Is Us‘ Rebecca Pearson got well-deserved kudos. Viktor Hargreeves introduced himself to his Umbrella Academy siblings. And The White Lotus‘ Tanya McQuoid realized something very important… just a little too late.
All year long, we’ve been collecting TV’s best sound bites in our Quotes of the Week compilations, which honor the dialogue that made us laugh and cry — sometimes simultaneously. But as 2022 draws to a close, we’re now looking back at the Quotes of the Year, highlighting 60 of the funniest, most poignant or most wonderfully meta moments from the past 12 months.
Best TV Shows of 2022 | Stranger Things, The Boys, Andor, More
0 seconds of 3 minutes, 52 seconds
In the list below, you’ll find Robin Scherbatsky sharing her romantic past with How I Met Your Father‘s Sophie, Ellen DeGeneres reflecting on how much has changed since her talk show began, Westworld‘s Dolores-Hale uttering a powerful one-word command, and Andor‘s precious droid B2EMO lamenting a major loss.
Of course, some shows — like ABC’s Abbott Elementary and Netflix’s Stranger Things — were just too quotable this year to select only one line, so they’re among the series making multiple appearances on our list. And it’s not just the scripted fare that made our cut: Unscripted programs like American Idol, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Big Brother are in the mix, as well.
As with all of our year-end lists, we should issue a quick spoiler alert for several of this year’s plot twists, romantic confessions and heartbreaking sendoffs. But if you’re ready to dive in, peruse the list below, then drop a comment with the lines that would make your cut for Quotes of the Year.

Book 📘76 Completed😊: The Miracle Morning – Hal Elrod
I am sure you have heard, read, seen enough about benefits of rising early and accomplish much more than we can imagine. And if you are thinking ‘I am not Morning Person’ Please ask yourself, who told you that? It’s You. And you have the power to convince yourself otherwise.
The miracle morning is one of the best books I have read after “The 5 A.M Club” of Robin Sharma. Read this one, apply what you read and reap the benefits of waking up with determination & purpose. You may consider taking ’30 days challenge’ Hal presents in the book.
Hal suggests that no matter what level of life we are at, whether one is extremely successful, nailing at all aspect or struggling to advance in life, one thing is common among all is “our desire to improve our life”. The Miracle morning offers wonderful way for consistent growth.
Few 🔑Points –
• Hal poses an amazing question ‘why did you wake up this morning? Is it because you must or is it because you want to?’ The difference between these two choices tells a lot about our life.
• Know that wherever you are in your life right now is both temporary, and exactly where you are supposed to be. You have arrived at this moment to learn what you must learn, so you can become the person you need to be, to create the life you truly want.
• Forget waking up at 5 A.M. if that’s too much. Start with 15 minutes earlier than your usual time and pick one thing. It could be anything, quick exercise, journaling, meditation, visualization, reading 2 to 3 pages of good book.
• When you delay waking up until you must, meaning you wait until the last possible moment to get out of bed and start your day. Consider that what you’re doing is resisting your life.
• There is no better day than today for us to give up who we’ve been for who we can become and upgrade the life we’ve been living for the one we really want.
Few 📌 Quotes –
1. To create the levels of personal, professional, and financial success you desire, you must first dedicate time each day to becoming the person you need to be.
2. Everything happens for a reason, but it is our responsibility to choose the most empowering reasons for the circumstances of our lives.
3. CHANGE begins with accepting total responsibility for every aspect of our life and refusing to blame anyone else.
4. No matter what your past has been, you can change your future, by changing the present.
5. To make profound changes in your life, you need either inspiration or desperation. – Anthony Robbins

I completed reading The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma, only to wonder why didn’t I read this earlier? Undoubtedly, this is the first self-help book that I read until the last page.
The book became well-known and reached mankind by word of mouth. Certainly, it’s a billion dollar book. I repeat. It’s a billion dollar book.
Each word in the book is like a diamond. You need to go through several processes, like the diamond, to actually live up to the words written in the book.
Robin Sharma, the writer, and the influencer engages the reader with his beautiful narration in dialogue form and never for a second makes the chapters monotonous.
Reviewing the book in a single blog is next to impossible. I’d personally recommend you to read the book first and later come back to this blog to ponder on the significant quotes from The monk who sold his Ferrari you’d never want to forget in life.
If you read the blog first I’m sure you’ll be urged to rush to the book shop or buy the book at the click of a button.

Swipe left all the negative vibes.
10. Saying that you don’t have time to improve your thoughts and your life is like saying you don’t have time to stop for gas because you are too busy driving. Eventually, it will catch up with you.

32.” I’m inspired, disciplined and energized”, say out loud two to three hundred times.
33. You sow a thought, you reap an action. Reap an action, you sow a habit. Sow a habit, you reap a character. Sow a character, you reap your destiny.
34. Be the superior version of your former selves. Don’t race against others. Race against yourself.
Enlightened people are priority driven.
– The Monk You Sold His Ferrari
Respect your time
35. Be ruthless with your time. Learn to say no. Having the courage to say no to little things in life will give you the power to say yes to the big things.
36. It is human nature to do things that feel good and avoid the things that feel bad.
37. The best time to plant a tree was forty years ago. The second best time is today. Don’t waste even one minute of your day.
Time slips through our hands like grains of sand, never to return again. Those who use time wisely from an early age are rewarded with rich, productive and satisfying lives.
– The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari
I hope you’re on the verge of buying The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, Robin Sharma’s first book. I’m sure the book will be a life-changing experience. Try and implement everything the author has told in the book for a fulfilling life. Also, please let me know which quote did you like the most in the comment section below.

🌟 astrological self-care: capricorn 🌟
Self-care is an essential part of a good life for  all of us. However, as individuals, we need different things to keep us  going. In this installment, I am focusing on Capricorn, the tenth sign of the zodiac.
the thing to know about Capricorn:  Capricorns are secretly sensitive and lack inherent self-confidence, so anything that threatens their reputation and public image of infallibility is something they dislike. Ruled by Saturn, they detest sentiment, and they tend to like/gravitate to/love people that are completely different from them so that that person has the burden to bring them out of themselves. Also, many Capricorns are quite happy to marry for money or status; status, prestige and social positions are all very important to these people. Since they tend to be methodical with their ascent in life, and because of their prudence and patience, Capricorns often tend to live to a ripe old age. With Capricorns, the first halves of their lives may seem strewn with obstacles, but their dogged determination usually gets them through.
quotes for Capricorn:
“Where victims see adversity, extreme achievers see opportunity.” - Robin Sharma
“Competition is a by-product of productive work, not its goal. A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.” - Ayn Rand
“A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.” - David Brinkley
“Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.” - John Wooden
“Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.” - Abraham Lincoln
my message to Capricorn: You may be accused of being more restrictive and serious than everyone else  but don’t be concerned about their issues. It’s not your fault that you want to make something of yourself. While others sit back and watch, complain, or criticize, you actually achieve much in your life. You're always trying to do big things and your work ethic is superhuman. You’re often CEOs and executives while everyone else is just an employee. At your best, you use your natural leadership ability and the authority you’ve earned to shepherd others along a constructive path. You’re often looked at as role models and for those of you who are evolved, this is a well deserved opinion. Through your example, you guide us to achievement and to being our best selves. You’re the calm in the eye of the hurricane that is life. You know where you’ve been, who you are, and where you’re going. Your drive and determination is fearsome, and there’s nothing you can’t accomplish when you put your mind to it. Others tend to sit up a little straighter and take notice of your regal presence. You plan and work hard for your goals and when you want something, you get it - even if it takes a longer time than others. Patience and perseverance is your specialty. You’re built to last. You age like fine wine, and just get better with time. For more ass kissing, read this: https://astrognossienne.tumblr.com/post/157519132029/an-ode-to-capricorn-energy
physiological makeup of Capricorn: Capricorn rules the skin, pituitary gland, joints, bones, and skeletal system. Capricorns can thus suffer a lot of joint pain and stiffness, as well as bone disorders, dental issues and general anemia. There may be issues with calcium absorption and skin complaints. Also, slow metabolism might be an issue as well.
Capricorn self-care tips:
definitely get some much-needed therapy
lighten up and quit being so serious all the time, you just age yourself unnecessarily this way
not everyone will be the way you expect, so understand the difference between requesting accountability and enforcing conformity
if you don’t have anything nice to say, just shut up
don’t let your inadequacy and insecurity turn you bitter. cynical, and judgmental of those you think you’re nothing like; while you’re busy pointing the finger, someone else is pointing theirs at you
your arrogance and inability (or unwillingness) to open your thinking to consider other possibilities limits your overall life satisfaction, so use your intelligence intelligently
it’s okay to lose control just as long as you can get yourself back again
if you curb your lust for power and make core values and human relationships the basis of your work, you’ll be successful not only in business, but in life.
take some time to cool down and have a spa day, massage, drink, or whatever you need to do to relax
try to understand and communicate better so that you can actually have healthy relationships with your loved ones
use digestive tonics, such as bitters, liver and gall bladder tonics and cleansers
for joint pain and stiffness, use warm and/or cold packs, engage in low-impact exercise, and if need be, consult a physical therapist or doctor if severe enough
your skin tends to be on the dry side, so keep moisturized using emollient-rich creams and oils
don’t confuse public recognition with importance and don’t confuse privilege with entitlement, or else you’ll be on the threshold of the humiliation you so desperately want to avoid
it’s okay to admit you’re wrong sometimes, no need to be so stubborn
calcium absorption may be an issue, so make sure you get plenty of vitamin D, either through sunshine, milk/dairy products (preferably organic), over the counter vitamins, or if need be, prescription-strength vitamin D
make sure you get enough sleep
consider hypnosis, yoga, tai chi, light therapy, sound therapy, acupuncture, or reiki to try to alleviate your anxiety
go see a dentist if you can or at least brush, floss, and take care of the health of your teeth
stay active, either biking, hiking, or any kind of physical activity you like to do
make sure you stretch before each activity so that your joints are more flexible
consume the herbs horsetail, goat’s rue, lemon balm, and amla - either in food, in teas, or tisanes
drink more water
study whatever you need to to get that good grade or pass that exam
make today a good day
