A heart-shaped icon above his head filled with a small amount of a pink liquid, and you bit your lip. 

It was awful. You didn’t want him to fall in love with you, genuinely or not, you wanted to be free and him to be happy, not knowing you at all. Anything but destroying him after you leave.

“I promise to do my best too!” You smiled at him. 

But you couldn’t promise to make him happy afterwards.

“Your offer is surely an interesting one,” he averted his gaze, not being able to meet yours, eager and all bubble-like, following his, flustered. “But what can you offer for the fulfilling?”

“Ah, that.”

The system’s databases were sure something else. The information provided by them made your work easier, even if you had to spend all the currency you possessed, now having nothing. You switched roles with Grim, him being the one who became a ‘family breadwinner’ for a time being. 

“I’ll tell you my biggest secret no one in this school knows. No one in the entire dimension knows.”

“Huh?” Ashengrotto said. “What a flattering offer. Why should I trust you?”

“If you will fulfill my wish, you’ll be able to manipulate me, destroy me, make the whole world desire your knowledge and power, because I myself possess the knowledge every person would love to acquire.”

“You’re saying insanely nonsensical things, Yuu-san. But alright, prove it to me.”

“Great,” you clapped your hands. “I know there’s a photo of you and your classmates in the Atlantica Memorial Museum.”

Azul jolted at your statement, staring at your stoic expression.

“How did you…”

“Also,” you continued, getting closer to him and smiling slyly. “I know about the scheme you’ve planned to appropriate Ramshackle and all the things you’ve prepared for upcoming exams.”

“Yuu-san,” he frowned at you, standing up. “You’re walking on thin ice.”

“You wanted me to prove my powers, right? I did just so and I’m guaranteeing you’ll receive all of my power once you… fall in love with me.”

You lowered your gaze, and Azul wondered why would it even change so drastically, going from cheeky and sly to filled with sadness he couldn’t describe.

“... Alright,” he sighed, closing his eyes and fixing his glasses. “Let us sign a contract.”

“Oya thank you~” You giggled, grabbing a pen on the table, ready to sign. “I know feelings are hard to acquire, but please fall in love quickly, okay?~”

“We’ll see. Don’t forget you need to tell me everything once it’s over.”

“I won’t! He-he.”

You’re the one who’s going to forget.

“Uhm, Yuu-san…”

“Yeah?”

“Don’t you find this position quite, uhm…”

“Hm?”

“No, nothing…”

You giggled with a soft exhale into the crook of Ashengrotto’s neck, thinking about how to escape the predicament you both happened to be trapped in.

You met him after his classes were over, waiting for him to come out from the auditorium, but only had he stepped out, he grabbed your hand and walked you away, accompanied by his classmates noises, hearing something among ‘Woah Azul’s dating someone???’ lines.

And then you realized he never intended to reveal your relationship status, and if the first two weeks went quite okay with you going on fake dates, no one managed to spot you. Or so Azul thought, but you knew Jade also figured out what kind of request you make, glancing over and smiling with an emotion you couldn’t understand. 

So today he accidentally led you two into an extremely small staff room of the Mostro Lounge where mops were stored, escaping other workers’ stares. And it wouldn’t be a problem if Azul didn’t hear Floyd approaching you two. 

So now you found yourself ‘trapped’ in here, your bodies being tangled, which seemed funny to you, while Azul was going crazy, his cheeks glowing crimson in a dim light radiating from one small lamp in the room.

“Ouch, Yuu-san, be careful.”

“The same goes to you!”

His hands on your back made you bite your lower lip when Azul tried fixing his position, but to no avail. You had no other choice but to be pressed to his chest, head empty of thoughts and common sense. 

“Argh, Ashengrotto, you seriously!—”

“Shh!! Floyd’s coming.”

He managed to press a finger to your lips, and you remembered why you found otome games strange in the first place. All those silly situations like this were so stupid and unrealistic when you were recovering after experiencing literal hell in thrillers, but now? Now you were melting under his careful movements and focused eyes fixated on the gap in the door, fishing out Floyd. 

You fell silent, averting your gaze, and felt Azul’s slow breath. Your legs went numb, and when you wanted to change your pose just slightly, you felt Azul’s grip on you tightening, and blushed. 

“Uhm, Ashen—”

“Yuu— Ugh, can’t you just—”

“Aha~ Did I just hear Koebi-chan?~”

You tensed, clenching Azul’s necktie and panicking just slightly when you heard Floyd’s voice.

“Where are you two?~”

“Ashengrotto, I think we should—”

“Yuu-san, just shut up already!!”

“But I might fall just—”

He turned to you with the brightest color of red on his cheeks, grabbing your chin and drawing your face to his, shutting you up with a kiss.

You could have sworn you saw Jade’s intense stare for a mere second, and then also him talking to Floyd.

“Floyd, here you are. Azul told me we’re needed in the kitchen.”

“Eh? But I don’t wanna~”

“Let’s go.”

“But Ja~ade!”

You two parted with a soft sound of Azul’s nervous breath, and he shifted his gaze immediately after you stared at him blankly. 

“A-Ashengrotto…”

“You’re hopeless, Yuu-san…”

“Sorry… O-oh…”

You noticed how pink liquid filled the heart to the half and inhaled sharply, grabbing Azul’s hand when he was going to open the door.

“W-what?”

“Uhm, nothing… sorry again.”

The kiss made you lose your mind for a moment or two. You needed Azul to fall in love with you as soon as possible before you fell for him yourself. 

“Ashengrotto.”

“Yes, Yuu-san?”

“Go take a rest. It’s painful to see you working so hard. I haven’t seen you sleeping for two days.”

Azul sighed, fixing his glasses, and continued writing something. 

“Of course, you don’t see me sleeping, because I do that in Octavinelle.” 

“I highly doubt that…”

You fell silent, sorting out the contracts he made, and stumbled upon a request similar to yours, gasping.

“What’s the matter?”

“Someone asked you to date them,” you frowned. “But you declined.”

“Of course I did.”

“But why? Didn’t you say you fulfill any wish?”

“Yuu-san.”

He stopped writing, sanding up and getting on one knee before you, causing you to blush a little.

“Because right at the moment I’m dating you… no, not just that,” he took your hand in his. “I’m falling in love with you, Yuu-san.”

You bit your lip, lowering your gaze and knitting brows together. It ached so excruciatingly right in your chest, you hated every moment of everything happening just as much you loved it. You…

“I have a question,” you said. “Have you not still fallen in love with me?”

“One more word, and I’ll start hating you instead, but…”

He placed his head on your knees, making you flustered.

“A-Ashengrotto?!”

“Yuu-san, first of all… There’s two things restraining me from loving you with all my heart.”

“Oh, I’m… All ears.”

“First,” he looked at you, pouting with a cute pinkish hue on his cheeks and ears. “Have you ever dated someone before?”

“O-oh?” You found yourself startled. “To be honest, yes, I have. Why?”

“Did you call them by their surname, too?”

“No,” you answered immediately.

“Then why do you call me by my last name?”

There was a reasoning behind that, but you couldn't even clearly judge yourself for your stupid decisions, so you remained silent, receiving his sigh as an answer.

“Fine. The second question possesses more importance anyway. Why don’t you allow yourself to love and be loved?”

You jolted, escaping his serious look, and not daring to give him an answer. You begged for the heart to fill up this instant, but Azul’s stoic gaze remained strict. 

“The answer is related to the secret I’m going to reveal when you finally fall in love.”

“And what if I tell you I already did?”

You smiled bitterly at him, interweaving your fingers with his. 

“You didn’t,” you laughed. “I know you didn’t. And you know it too.”

“Is it related to that knowledge of yours?”

“Correct,” you nodded. “I know how you feel.”

“It might be funny hearing from me, but Yuu-san. You can never know what one feels, even if in reality you had the magic helping you reveal people’s feelings all this time, or anything else — you can’t. Otherwise you wouldn’t say I don’t love you yet.”

You fell silent again. But the system couldn’t lie, the liquid of the heart was still on its half, so was he lying to you at this point? He wasn’t. You knew that too.

Will you believe the system or him, Azul Ashengrotto, his cold hands holding yours, cold too? 

It was insane. It was an absolutely absurd, stupid mess you hated with all your heart. The support and consideration of your own feelings Azul demonstrated to you made you go crazy with a warmth blossoming in your chest.  

“Azul…”

“Huh.”

He raised his head, meeting your surprised expression, being quite astonished himself, and smiled at you, clenching a piece of shirt in his fist.

“You really… What a controversial figure you are, Yuu.”

“Hey, I… Wait. No, no, Azul, wait!!”

“What’s with you?”

Bright light flowing around you made you burst into tears at once, throwing yourself into his embrace and crying hopelessly, him not realizing what was happening. 

“I,” you sucked in the air, cupping his cheeks and smiling at him. “I came from another dimension and I’ve got two more people’s stories to finish. Y-you, you were my fourth story in this mess, and… Argh, no, please, give me one more minute, I’m begging!!”

“Yuu?!”

You felt how the light was tying up your limbs, and despite your miserable attempts at escaping, it ached. It was not your body aching, but your very heart.

“Please forget about me. Don’t carry my secret, the next time we meet pretend you never felt anything for me. Forget me and.. Thank you, Azul.”

“Yuu!” He cried out, grabbing your hand for a brief moment before you almost dissolved in the air. “Thank you. Thank you for showing me love and letting me fall for you…”

Opening your eyes in the room in Ramshackle you shared with Grim, you’ve decided that you would rather suffer yourself than letting others experience that pain with you. 

Lilia Vanrouge and Idia Shroud are going to be different, you thought, seeing 100% difficulty level under Lilia’s icon in the system, trying to ignore the ‘COMPLETED’ line under Azul’s image, but sweet and salty scent of sea waves made you chuckle nervously and swallow your despair all at once.

Guess whose financial mistake arrived early...

I will give more in depth looks later (I have to work to afford such questionable purchases), but a quick individual review of what I got:

Neil Demon Plushy

Not a plush toys collector at all; my closest reference is the IKEA shark. He is heavier than he looks, very sturdy (?) if that makes sense. Doesn't seem like he will deform any time soon. The details are adorable and I don't see any glaring defects.

All Saints Street Hoodie

Surprisingly large for me. I was worried they only had one size made for the Chinese market. I'm 1.7m (5 foot 7) tall for reference and this is still a bit too big for me. Will likely get too small for anyone over 6 feet tall. The quality is good! Very soft. Velvet interior. I don't know much about shirt stamping, but since it's not in the fabric I'm guessing the stamp might start to crack after multiple washes.

All Saints Street Vol. 1-3 Collection

Now this is something I can talk about more. The sleeve was unfortunately damaged in shipping and the books have very minor damage in the spine and vol 2 has a minor case of dog ears. The quality of the paper is great! It is color paper, not glossy one you see in comic book issues, but it's thicker than the black and white you see in manga. Would still make sure to have a dehumidifier if your storing place is not dry. I've already experienced book wrapping and it's painful.

Each volume contains around 80 chapters with one extra chapter not on bilibili. They also contain a message from Lingzi and WSJ's editor, plus all character bios even for ones we never got one (Enrique, Eduardo ans Anthony). And if a Weibo post is correct some might have been updated from the ones online (Axel grew 1 cm in the book bio).

Of course later I'll look over everything to see if there are any significan changes to make a note of. Also it came with this lol.

I have the Alice in Wonderland art somewhere, I'll post it later as well.

All Saints Street Anniversary Playing Cards

The playing card decks from the 6th and the 7th anniversary. As you can see I haven't opened the 7th, but I got the 6th a while ago on AliExpress so I expect them to be similar.

This is something else I can review more in depth, coming from a family that loves playing poker. The quality of the prints is beautiful, however I keep them in the box all the time because the quality of the cards itself is not good!

The cards feel like store bought cardboard; good playing cards are made out of cardboard, but this deck doesn't have the same treatment. They are so fragile, even by just handling them to get the face cards I've already made slight damage to the edges. I wouldn't play any game with them, much less shuffle them. I don't even want to imagine how much they will bend. Also the Crystal card came with damage (the small white spot on the edge) from the store. Pain.

Anyways. I'll frame the face cards because they are so pretty and I want to keep them in the best condition... I don't know what I will do with the rest of the 36 cards. Maybe practice magic tricks? Lol. Before all this I've been working on how to scan all the face cards and post them, but it's been more difficult than expected. If you have ever tried to digitize prints you will know. Once I have them, I'll post them alongside high quality scans.

When it comes to my review of PandaBuy... On one hand it was an excellent service and experience. On the other... I don't even want to reveal how much the shipping was. I wouldn't recommend anyone else do it unless you are stupid with your money (like me), even then

I would advice to do your own research. PandaBuy and all agents to buy from China are definitely better when you buy in bulk. My package was 'only' 2kg. Many people buy over 10kg to make it worth it. I'm already committed so if new volumes come out I will buy them, and maybe also get counterfeit Gucci shoes or something since that's what most people use this agents for...

Hell’s Kitchen was a rough place to grow up. With crime down every ally and Mobs with a hand in every business, it was no shock that you grew to adopt the Robin Hood lifestyle. It wasn’t lawful, what you did, not in the slightest. But you were doing your part in the community.

As of late, a financial epidemic had run through the area. Fisk’s goons had been dealing with counterfeit bills and your family were directly paying the price when your Uncle’s sandwich shop had fallen victim to far too many dealings. Many of your friends and family had only false money, given out by shady businesses and sneaky deals. They were unable to buy or bank anything and it was a joke to think the cops would mess with who was to blame. Not when Fisk has so many of them on either his payroll or hit list.

The pressure was on to defend your family where the law failed them, so you found yourself geared up, mask adorned, breaking into one of Fisk’s manufacturing warehouses. It was low security and easy for you to slip in to his office where you broke into his safe and swapped out the counterfeit bills to regular old money.

When you think about it, you were basically helping Fisk out. After all, the whole point in this operation was to cycle the money around, no crime in that. Well, ignoring the fact that you stole a handful of documents from his desk, figuring they’d come in hand later. 

They did, however, quickly prove to be an issue now that you were hopping roof tops and booking it at full speed to escape the neighborhood vigilante whom you recognized as Daredevil. This wasn’t the first run in you’d had with the Red Devil since you’d met many times before, each time exchanging banter and poking fun at one another. However, it was the first time you’d faced off against each other in combat. It didn’t take long for him to have you pinned against the wall after a small rooftop battle. After all, your skills were in cat burglary, not martial arts.

So there you stayed, back against the wall with your arms held tightly over your head. You could feel his breath on your cheek as he spoke into your ear.

“Well?” He questioned. “Hand ‘em over,” His hypnotic voice almost made you cave and do exactly as he said, but you were far too stubborn and enjoyed your back on forth too much to give in.

You shrugged your shoulders as best you could and you kicked out slightly to tap your foot into his and answered, “You’ll have to let me go, Red.”

Your sweet coaxing would have worked on so many men, but unfortunately, he knew you a little too well. “Nohot a chance,” he laughed, flashing a toothy grin. “Not after last time.”

He was fair to be cautious since the last time the two of you met, you did indeed leave him to deal with the oncoming police. But it was different this time, you were safe here and there’s no one to bare witness. 

“Oh, come on,” you huffed. “You can’t blame me for that, you would've had me arrested,” You defended.

“Well, I guess we’ll never know, will we?” He had no interest in giving you time to plot an escape. “I need Fisk’s arrest log.”

Again, you shrugged, purely to thicken the tension between the two of you, “Finders Keepers."

His head nodded in a ‘Alright then.’ motion before he opened his mouth to speak, smacking his lips as he did. “I didn't expect you to make this easy." 

With his free hand he began a basic pat down. He’d seen you tuck things away into your suit before but he wasn’t quite sure how it worked, or even where the hidden pocket was. You felt his hand run down from your ribs to your waist in one quick motion and you instinctively jumped, biting back a scream that escaped as a muffled shriek. You had squeezed your eyes shut out of reflex and kept them closed in personal protest to your embarrassment. A moment went by and you let out a sigh, keeping your eyes closed but dropping your head to your chest. 

“What was that?” He asked with a smug undertone, tilting your chin up to face him. "And remember you can’t lie to me.”

You took a deep breath, “That was the moment I decided I have to kill you,” you squeaked out. “I’m sorry but you sealed your fate,” you shrugged, deciding the best way out would be to talk your way out of this.

Daredevil chuckled at your panic and took note of your heart beat. Even with the additional flustered panic, it hadn’t changed from its usual beat. There was no evidence of genuine shame, panic or discomfort. “Now,” he teased in a ‘cooing’ voice. “That’s unfortunate,” he swiped his fingers horizontally this time and you jerked again, squeaking in response as you tried to kick out.

“No! Red! Come on, it’s spandex, this sucks!” You pleaded in a desperate vortex of honesty, anything to summon a little pity for you. You felt all dignity abandon you in this moment, but you just couldn’t stand the light touches that fluttered around your stomach as he continued to trace his finger back and forth. You didn’t had armor like him, just a thin layer of spandex over your now stretched torso.

“Would you rather a strip search?” He questioned, listening to the familiar uptick of your heart that he heard every time he flirted with you. ”I can’t imagine this is any better on bare skin.”

You were thankful that your mask covered the top half of your face, hopefully it did well in hiding your bashful expression. You were almost speechless and chose to tug at your arms. Now seemed like a good time to give in, before this got any worse and you passed out from all the blood rushing to your face. “Okay, okay,” you caved. “Just let me go and you can have your arrest log.”

He pinched your side, just to watch you jump. “Still don’t trust you,” he confessed. “Tell me where you’ve got it.” He stepped closer to you, practically pinning you further into the wall as he kept up with the tormenting tracing, now at the base of your ribcage.

“AH! Hey! Red, give ihit a rehehest,” you tried desperately to bring your knees up but he was in the way. You couldn't see a way out unless he stepped back or released a hand. Regardless he didn't give you much time to think clearly.

“Tell me, Sweetheart.” What you wouldn't give to wipe that smirk right off his face. His fingers drummed down to your waist and your entire body tensed in anticipation. To be perfectly honest, you had no idea how ticklish you were until now.

Unbeknownst to you, Matt picked up on your heartbeat and heard it speed up the more he poked around that spot. He was very much enjoying himself but it was getting late so he dug his hand into your waist, tasing his fingers into your spot.

“NO! DAHAHAREDE- EAH! Yohohohou hahahahavehehe toho stohohohop. Pleheheheeeese!” Your words officially started to get lost in your giggles and he eased up only slightly. “Ahahalrihihight, ohokay, just-ugh- left, above my wahahaist thehehere's a hihidden zihipper,” you confessed, knowing he'd have trouble finding it. You'd hope he had to let you go so you could make a run for it.

He began prodding around, poking and scritching in a way that was just as unbearable as before, making you burst out again into laughter. “Yohou're gonna have to stop fidgeting around,” he teased.

You couldn't help the squeak that feel from your lips when all five fingers prodded into your side, "YOU-Yohou're gohohohonna hahahave to stohohohop!”

He simply shrugged, smiling at your misfortune. “Hey, I can keep this up all night.”

You tugged aggressively at your pinned hands, "juhuhust one hahand!” you begged, hoping for the slightest of mercy. He wasn't letting up so you had to meet him in the middle, but you really couldn't walk him through the zipper. He had to let you go.

“Okay.” He slowly brought his fingers to a stop, resting them on your hip. “But only because you begged.” With caution he loosened his grip on your hands so you could pull them free from his grasp.

As you tried, he secured his hand again, keeping one pinned where it was. Groaning in frustration you tossed your head back and quickly yanked your leg up in attempt to kick his leg out from under him. You failed when he shot his hand out and seized your thigh in his hand, before bringing it up to his waist, gripping tightly enough to make you jump and squeak once again.

 Tilting his head mockingly, he tightened his lips, holding back a laugh. “You’re just sensitive all over, huh?”

You exhaled in exasperation and it almost sounded like a growl. You narrowed your eyes and jumped off the ground, putting all your weight into his body to push yourselves off the wall and tumble back onto the floor.

The two of you landed on your backs and Daredevil leapt up into a superhero landing where he faltered at the sight in front of him. You made no move to get up, just puffed out a few laughs and moved your hands to your side where you folded over the fabric to reveal a zipper. 

Opening the pocket, you pulled out the pages of the documents you stole and held them out to him. “Here, Horns.”

With slight hesitation he took them from your hands and silently counted out how many pages you had given him. Once he was satisfied, he fell back to lay down next to you on the roof. A moment passed as you both caught your breath. The city was loud but he could still hear your heartbeat steady out, beating almost in time with his.

“Hey, can I ask you something you don’t have to answer?” You questioned, tilting your head to the side.

“I think I owe you that much,” He prompted with a goofy smile plastered over his face.

“Are you really blind?” You asked in a small voice. He waited a beat before nodding. He clearly wasn’t ashamed or secretive, it just seemed like he was debating whether or not he wanted to lie to you. “Well, if you want. I can always help you out with those papers. Seems like it might be quicker and less suspicious than transferring them into brail.”

He couldn’t deny that you had a point and he couldn’t deny that he did want to see you again. “You’d help me even after I just tortured you?” he asked smugly.

“Well, in exchange for revenge of course.” You joked, proud of the laugh that pulled from his lips. “I’m serious,” you laughed as you stood up and made your way to the edge of the roof. “I have a small base not too far from here. We can keep the masks on if it makes you feel better.” 

Sitting up, he tightened his grip on the papers in his hand. “Guess you’re not as much of a pain in the ass as I originally thought,” he confessed.

You hummed and turn to face him despite him not being able to see you. You just wanted to get another look at him. “And you’re not so scary as I first thought.”

Marshall Merchandise Update!

I sometimes wonder if I should number these merchandise update posts, but I'm honestly not sure how many I've made since I first started doing this. Let's just pick a number at random and say it's #23.

In any case, I managed to add a few new items to my Marshall collection today. Nothing too big, but they're still pretty cool, imo.

Okay, so... I made a post last night about how I was lamenting the lack of holiday-themed PAW Patrol merchandise this year. Well, as it turns out... I'm a dummy, because I completely forgot about buying this thing a few weeks ago. I didn't show it off at the time because I wanted to have a few other items to show off with it.

Actually, when I first seen this thing on Ebay, I thought it was an older ornament. I'd never seen one like it before, and when I Google-searched it, the results came up empty. I thought I found another rare ornament, so I quickly snatched it up! You can imagine my surprise when I got it and, upon inspecting the tag... it said "2023". Oops. lol

In any case, this ornament's from "Primark". The tag even says it's hand-painted (you can kind of tell, honestly). Strangely, it's not listed on their site, unless I'm just looking in the wrong place. Only one has appeared on Ebay so far, and I haven't seen it anywhere else at all yet. Well, there's some store out there selling them, but I know not which one... all I know is I'm happy to have one. :)

Next, a "Slow-Rise Squishies". They also come in Chase and Skye, too.

Unless I'm mistaken, you can't find these in the USA right now. Yup, this is another imported item! From Canada, in fact (thankfully, the shipping was low). Admittedly, the likeness is pretty spot on, not to mention it's bigger than I expected it to be. I think it's pretty cool!

Last.... er... this thing. It's just something I randomly found on Ebay one day, so I decided to bid on it.
