[ad_1] Suddenly, it feels like India have found a pace-bowling all-rounder who can bowl at decent speeds and play the modern, attacking style of cricket. Does that sound like Hardik Pandya? Yes, but the player in question is Nitish Kumar Reddy. On Wednesday, Reddy became the second-youngest Indian to win a T20I Player of the Match award (21 years, 136 days), just behind Rohit Sharma’s record of 20 years and 143 days. This followed his standout performance in the second T20I against Bangladesh at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, where he shone with both bat (74 off 34) and ball (2/23). It takes some effort for any youngster to make Gautam Gambhir stand up and applaud, and that’s what India’s head coach did after Reddy took the Bangladeshi bowlers to the cleaners. Yes, India have found an extremely promising all-rounder, but can he climb the ladder quick enough to be retained by SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), or even find a spot in the squad for the Australia tour later this year? Reddy is no stranger to those who follow age-group cricket. Although he had a breakthrough season in IPL 2024, his debut for SunRisers Hyderabad came in the 2023 edition – a steep learning curve and a somewhat forgettable experience. Growing up in Visakhapatnam, Reddy was a top-order batter who regularly topped the run charts while also being a handy medium pacer. A fan of Virat Kohli, Reddy set the record books ablaze during the 2017-18 Vijay Merchant season, scoring 1,237 runs at a staggering average of 176.41. This included a triple century, two tons, two half-centuries, and an astonishing 441-run knock against Nagaland. Despite his early promise and being tipped as the ‘next big thing’, Reddy did not attract much media attention, even after being named the ‘Best Cricketer in the U-16 category’ at the BCCI Annual Awards in 2018. He later represented India B in the U-19 age group circuit. However, his journey wasn’t without setbacks. Over a couple of seasons, he struggled and even considered quitting bowling to focus solely on batting. It was only after being persuaded by his coach, Srinivas Reddy, and meeting Pandya at the NCA that he set his sights on becoming India’s leading pace-bowling all-rounder. In his U-16 days, Reddy was both an opening batter and bowler, but he had to adjust his game to reduce the strain on his body. He transitioned to the middle order, though it took time to find his rhythm in this new role. Reddy made his first-class debut for Andhra in 2020, and has made 627 runs at a modest average of 20.96 in 20 matches, alongside taking 54 wickets. His breakthrough came in 2023, though his first couple of games with SunRisers Hyderabad were forgettable – he didn’t bat and conceded 54 runs in just five overs. However, SRH showed faith in him, retaining him ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. Reddy then became a household name during the tournament, as SRH showcased an aggressive brand of cricket. Although Reddy’s role wasn’t as explosive as his teammates, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, he contributed 303 runs at an impressive strike-rate of 142.92. Being a local, Reddy quickly became a cult figure for the SRH fans. With the Indian team in need of another pace-bowling all-rounder to complement Pandya, especially someone capable of performing across formats, Reddy was quickly called up for India’s T20I squad for the Zimbabwe tour earlier this year. Unfortunately, he missed the opportunity due to a hernia issue. However, while undergoing rehab in Bengaluru, sources told RevSportz that the staff at the NCA were highly impressed by Reddy’s dedication, discipline, and work ethic. Some even suggested that the 21-year-old could bowl at speeds of 145 kph in the near future. In the current series, he has consistently bowled in the mid-to-late 130 kph range. For SunRisers Hyderabad, retaining Reddy could cost them a few extra crores from their Rs 120 crore budget, with his retention cost now at least Rs 11 crore. However, Reddy’s growing reputation could fetch him even more in the IPL auction, should SRH release him to save money.
As it stands, retaining Reddy alongside Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen, and Abhishek Sharma seems like a no-brainer for the franchise. And it’s not only the IPL. Reddy could also find himself on the flight to Australia later this year given the shaky fitness history of Shardul Thakur. For Reddy, at 21, the future is immensely bright.                                     The post Nitish Kumar Reddy makes his mark as ‘next big thing’ appeared first on Sports News Portal | Latest Sports Articles | Revsports. Endless branding options at Bengaluru  Airport
The first thing that flashes in the mind when we hear Bengaluru or Bangalore is the city’s IT-hubs, vibrant night life and shopping malls. The city is also famous for the world educational institutes like IIT, NLSIU, IISC and many more. The capital of Karnataka, Bengaluru is popular city among youngsters for both education and job opportunities. The Kempegowda International airport  located at Devanahalli, is the third busiest international airport after Delhi and Mumbai. The Bengaluru International Airport Limited(BIAL) recorded the grow of 32.8% in the first quarter of2018-2019 in terms of passenger traffic.
How to use  advertising opportunities at Bengaluru International Airport?
As it is one of the busiest airport of India, the passenger traffic is incredibly high. brands can make use of various advertising opportunities available both inside and outside the airport for an impactful and rewarding ad campaign.
Advertising opportunities at BIAL include:
Luggage trolley ads:
Average number of people who use luggage trolley is approximately 50,000.
Half of the passengers are either flying out of the city or others are flying in.
The average trolley usage time is minimum 40 minutes to 1 hour. The trolley usage time mostly depends on the time spent in collecting luggage or checking-in the luggage before boarding the flight.
Escalators, lifts and conveyer belts:
Escalators, lifts and elevators are used by most of the passengers at the airport.
Lifts are usually used by elderly people and children.
People wait for their luggage near the conveyer belt. The average time spent for luggage collection is anywhere between 15-20 minutes.
Airport lounge:
Flyers have to reach the airport at least 90 minutes before an international flight and 60minutes prior to a domestic flight.
This dwell time is highly precious for advertisers to interact with the consumers through various branding tactics.
The relaxed state of mind and the airport ambience helps the consumers to receive the brand message more effectively.
Wi-Fi Branding
The airport’s Wi-Fi can be utilised to reach the target audience who connect to the airport’s Wi-Fi’s network.
Wi-Fi branding includes banner ads, broadcast messages roadblock and video ads.
People spend their dwell time mostly by surfing phone and Wi-Fi branding plays vital role in pulling target audience’s attention.
Print Advertising
Sticker ads can be placed on newspaper and magazines circulated at the airport.
Tarmac Coach Branding
The coaches is used for taking the passengers for boarding the fight before takeoff and bringing them back to airport after touchdown.
Branding can be done on both exterior and interior panels of the tarmac coach for effective communication.

Online video classes: A boon for medical aspirants from rural India - Times of India
New Post has been published on https://apzweb.com/online-video-classes-a-boon-for-medical-aspirants-from-rural-india-times-of-india/
Online video classes: A boon for medical aspirants from rural India - Times of India
NEW DELHI: Nineteen-year-old Nchumthung Patton from Nagaland’s Wokha district, a tiny speck on the map of the country’s northeastern region, almost gave up his dream of becoming a doctor when he could not clear the all India medical entrance examination.
The teenager, who hails from a farming family and has seven siblings, had prepared for the ambitious test for one year on his own as his parents could not afford to send him to a city for medical coaching.
Patton is now preparing for the entrance exam again but this time through online classes that have eliminated the need for coaching centres in his village and many other rural parts of the country.
Several major platforms such as NEETprep, BYJU’s, ICA Edu skills and Youth4works have started offering online programmes for medical aspirants that prepare students for entrance exams through video streaming.
Patton has enrolled with NEETPrep and was provided with all study material — a pen drive and course work via email — at a much lesser price than what enrolling in a coaching centre in a city would cost.
According to online education providers, the concept of online video programmes for medical entrance has replaced brick-and-mortar classrooms with virtual classes and given multiple benefits to students especially in rural areas.
Kapil Gupta, CEO and co-founder of NEETPrep, who started the platform in 2016 along with his co-founders from IIT-Mumbai and IIM-Ahmedabad, said a classroom programme for a year at a well-known coaching institute for NEET preparation would cost approximately Rs 1-1.5 lakh per annum and additional expenses worth around Rs 2 lakh for accommodation and food if the student is not a city dweller.
The amount charged by NEETPrep for its video classes for medical entrance is only Rs 25,000 per year, he said.
Every year approximately 15 lakh students, including around 8 lakh from tier II and III cities, register for the NEET exam to secure admissions in medical colleges including the reputed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as per their rankings.
Mrinal Mohit, chief operating officer of BYJU’s, told PTI, “The biggest benefit of integrating technology in education is that it makes learning highly personalized. With digital learning, students can learn at their own pace, in their own style and focus on strengthening their conceptual understanding instead of playing ‘catch up’ with rest of their batch”.
He said digital learning also gives students uninterrupted access to the best teachers from around the world, irrespective of their geography.
Rachit Jain, CEO & Founder of Youth4Work, said, “Online classes are less expensive than conventional classes as students only have to pay for course material and not the admission fees that coaching institutes charge for operational costs”.
Citing a survey by KPMG and Google, Manoj Kumar Jha, Director of GS Score, said the market for online education is expected to rise magnificently — up to USD 1.96 billion by 2021 from from USD 247 million in 2016.
Having expanded to almost every zone of India, NEETPrep currently has students in far flung areas such as in Nagaland, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands. So is the case with BYJU’s and ICA Edu.
According to Narendra Shyamsukha, founder-chairman, ICA Edu Skills, surveys have found that nearly 5.8 million people enrol in online college courses, with 28 per cent of all college students enrolling in at least one online course every year.
Rana Akoijam from Manipur had come to Delhi in 2018 for medical coaching but had to return soon due to financial crunch. In 2019 he got admission for MBBS thanks to enrolling in online entrance preparation classes.
“With the help of online classes, I could sit in the comfort of my home and get tutored by the country’s top faculties. Without wasting my time in commuting to coaching classes, I could spend more time focusing on studying,” he said.
Industry experts too believe that online video classes are a game changer for aspirants from rural parts.
Prof M C Misra, Former Director AIIMS, New Delhi, and now president of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Rajasthan, has observed the drastic change in medical education and says online education could be highly effective.
“Such tele-video education could be very effective, particularly if there is a two-way communication and students are able to ask and clarify their doubts,” he told PTI.
His view was endorsed by Girish Tyagi, president of the Delhi Medical Council who said there was a time when practically every medical aspirant went for conventional coaching, but the constant pressure to study more made students put their physical and mental health at stake.
“But the time has changed and Internet has tremendous reach and speed. Video coaching has come as a blessing for aspirants living in remote areas,” he said.

Things to know about Vivek Express: Types and Evolution
Vivek Express is a sequence of express trains introduced by the Indian Railways. It was started on the propitious 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.  The train was named after the name of Swami Vivekananda. The name of Swami Vivekananda is counted among the great souls of the world. He linked the morality with his control of mind and advised his followers to be holy, unselfish, and to have faith. During the Railway budget of year 2011-12, Railway Minister announced to start these series of trains. Surprisingly, one of the Vivek Express trains that run from Dibrugarh to Kanyakumari is the longest route on the Indian Railways on the subject of time and distance. India's overseas coverage for subsequent 5 years: New Delhi should stave off Chinese language affect on Myanmar by means of commerce, improvement help
http://tinyurl.com/y4k95o74 Editor’s word: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tour of the Maldives is his first worldwide go to after having taken oath for the second time. His 2014 swearing-in ceremony featured leaders from SAARC nations as particular invitees, whereas in 2019, it was the BIMSTEC leaders and people from Kyrgyzstan and Mauritius who had been in attendance, underlining the significance the prime minister locations on worldwide relations. That is the eighth in a series of articles that appears at key overseas coverage targets for the Modi authorities because it appears to the subsequent 5 years. *** For the Indian overseas coverage institution, particularly beneath the present Narendra Modi authorities, Myanmar has been a pivotal nation. Strategically positioned on the intersection of South and Southeast Asia, it’s at a civilisational crossroads of kinds. As Myanmar is the one ASEAN member state to share a border with India, the nation is the place New Delhi’s Act East Coverage (AEP) and ‘Neighbourhood First’ coverage (NFP) overlap. The primary time period of the Modi authorities witnessed a lot exercise on the japanese entrance, with the AEP and NFP collectively birthing a brand new template of outreach. Many of the work occurred beneath three key clusters: commerce relations, developmental co-operation and safety collaboration. A fourth sub-cluster was the availability of humanitarian help to ease the Rohingya disaster, which erupted in August 2017 following an assault by Rohingya insurgents on Myanmar border police outposts in northern Rakhine State. The upward tenor of the bilateral ties was additional embellished by a slew of high-level visits from either side, together with a visit by Modi to Myanmar in September 2017, a rare eight-day visit by the Commander-in-Chief of the omnipotent Tatmadaw (Myanmar defence forces), Senior Normal Min Aung Hlaing, to India in July 2017, and a go to by Myanmar President, Win Myint, to India in December 2018. In some ways, the renewal of the New Delhi-Naypyitaw relationship was watered by the democratic transition in Myanmar that noticed the election of a civilian authorities in 2015, led by Aung San Suu Kyi’s Nationwide League for Democracy (NLD). Subsequent occasions, significantly the regular souring of the connection between Myanmar and the West over the Rohingya disaster, noticed Naypyitaw directing its deal with fortifying its relationships with old-time regional companions, New Delhi being a outstanding one. The opposite, in fact, is China. Narendra Modi with Aung San Suu Kyi. File picture. PTI As geopolitical circumstances would have it, India has slowly emerged as a vital counterbalancing ally for the Tatmadaw and the NLD authorities as a extra assertive Beijing expands its financial presence and political clout in Myanmar. This has basically translated to stronger political complementarities between the Modi and Suu Kyi administrations and deeper military-to-military collaborations. Thus, when famous journalist and shut Myanmar-watcher, Bertil Lintner, recently noted that India and Myanmar have gotten “brothers in arms”, he was actually not exaggerating. But, as the federal government in New Delhi prepares for a second consecutive time period, a lot work stays to be completed throughout all fronts. On this regard, three points stay most crucial for India in Myanmar: swift implementation of proposed improvement tasks, diversifying its commerce profile, and taking an ethical, justice-oriented stance on the Rohingya disaster. Collectively, these may help New Delhi mount an efficient geopolitical response to China’s quickly rising clout in Myanmar, which is actually one in all India’s key targets within the nation. Whereas every of the three parts requires a definite strategy from numerous wings of the Indian institution, the Modi authorities wants finer inter-ministerial and inter-departmental coordination to complement its presence in Myanmar. On the event help entrance, the Modi authorities has completed properly to steadily scale up core budgetary assist to Myanmar. In actual fact, the estimated allocations within the final two union budgets (FY 2018-19 and FY 2019-20, interim) are the best ever prolonged to the japanese neighbour by New Delhi, however the actuals spendings which can be but to be made public. Moreover, the EXIM Financial institution additionally prolonged a $198.96 million Line of Credit score to the Myanmar International Commerce Financial institution (MFTB) in 2015. Many of the Indian cash has gone into funding Small Growth Initiatives (SDPs) across a host of sectors, reminiscent of connectivity, Info Know-how, agriculture, schooling, capacity-building, and different coaching infrastructure. Of those, the Border Space Growth Venture (BADP), which goals to enhance inside connectivity and social infrastructure in Sagaing Division and Chin State (each bordering India), is of specific significance. India might very properly increase this developmental template to the underdeveloped hinterlands of Myanmar, permitting New Delhi to play a pivotal position in bottom-up, people-centric improvement within the nation. Regardless of the advances, India wants to make sure quicker implementation of proposed tasks and hasten the completion of these beneath building. Amongst the latter, the Rs 2,904.04-crore Kaladan Multi Modal Transit Transport Venture (KMMTTP) is essentially the most essential by way of connecting India and Myanmar alongside the japanese sub-region. Presently in its final stages, the Modi authorities should prioritise the swift completion of the long-pending mission, which additionally entails India taking operational management of the Sittwe port in Rakhine State. On this regard, the newly-established Logistics Division throughout the Ministry of Commerce can play a decisive position in guaranteeing quicker tendering of building assets. Speedy implementation of big-ticket tasks such because the KMMTTP turn out to be much more crucial for India given the frontal competitors it faces from China. Beijing is already in partial management of a deep-sea port in Kyauk Phyu (additional south of Sittwe in Rakhine), and shortly plans to build an SEZ round it. As a part of this, it’s also working a twin oil-and-gas pipeline from the Rakhine shoreline to Yunnan Province. The Xi authorities has additionally signed a CPEC-like settlement with Myanmar, referred to as the China Myanmar Economic Corridor (CMEC), elements of which entail building of an expressway and a superfast railway line from southern China all the way in which to Rakhine State by way of the central city centres. On the bilateral commerce entrance, the second Modi authorities has a stable headstart: over the previous one 12 months, the total trade value has gone up by 19.2 % (or $15.four million). As well as, a better quantity of products, price $128.9 million, was traded throughout the land border checkpoints in Tamu-Moreh, Reed and Htalana. Nevertheless, most of this overland commerce is informal in nature, and in addition contains illicit exchanges. New Delhi might work in the direction of partially formalising and diversifying this border commerce by means of correct checkpoint registry mechanisms, as additionally mused upon by the present Indian ambassador to Myanmar in a recent interview. On the identical time, there’s a lot sense in permitting a few of the localised casual commerce to proceed, on which many border communities rely for his or her on a regular basis sustenance. On the safety entrance, there was a flurry of exercise. Whilst India went to polls starting April, the Indian military had already performed “joint” operations in February with its Myanmar counterpart to contain ethnic Rakhine insurgents alongside the Mizoram-Chin State border. Later, in Might, it staged a second spherical of “coordinated” operations in opposition to the Nationwide Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-Ok) and three different Indian Insurgents Teams (IIGs) alongside the Manipur-Sagaing border. The Tatmadaw had separately acted in opposition to the NSCN-Ok in February. Nevertheless, the Tatmadaw has refused to publicly admit any “joint” operations with India, as an alternative emphasising on its assist position in apprehending Indian insurgents working in Burmese territory. Whereas this may be considerably embarrassing for India, it was not totally unexpected given the Tatmadaw’s personal regional political compulsions, particularly with China respiratory down its neck. But, beneath the Modi authorities’s first time period, the safety institutions of India and Myanmar grew nearer than ever earlier than. Again in July 2018, the Indian authorities formally expressed its need to modernise the Myanmar military and navy, which later manifested in big-ticket arms deals, bilateral training exercises and high-level visits from either side, together with a recent meeting of Indian defence secretary, Sanjay Mitra, with the Tatmadaw’s Commander-in-Chief. Evidently, by negotiating by means of previous bitterness, each militaries have incrementally constructed belief and synergy, not simply alongside the overland border, but in addition the geostrategically pivotal Bay of Bengal maritime sector. For India, partnerships within the latter maintain the important thing to preserving an bold China at bay. Nevertheless, India’s outreach to the Tatmadaw has a problematic and morally doubtful angle to it. The Myanmar army right this moment stands accused by a bunch of worldwide entities, together with a United Nations Fact-Finding Mission, of great battle crimes, together with genocide, perpetrated in opposition to the stateless Rohingya Muslim neighborhood in Rakhine State and different ethnic minorities in Shan and Kachin States. The Worldwide Prison Court docket (ICC), too, is operating a parallel inquiry in opposition to senior Tatmadaw generals. India, on its half, has refused to take a robust stance on this, as an alternative insisting on the “complexity” of the problem and Myanmar’s sovereignty. In its second time period, the Modi authorities should reverse this if it needs to ascertain India as a accountable and morally agency regional energy. On the very least, it should pressurise the Tatmadaw to permit an unbiased United Nations physique to analyze its alleged wrongdoings, and prosecute the responsible accordingly. Concurrently, it should persuade the Suu Kyi authorities to shift its emphasis on bringing accountability for alleged battle crimes and internally pressurise the Tatmadaw to ship justice. Whereas it is a lengthy shot, given Suu Kyi’s delicate relationship with the army, New Delhi should do its bit. In all, the Modi authorities has a lot to look ahead to in Myanmar, largely based mostly on the numerous quantity of labor it has already achieved. It should do every thing to struggle the complacency that the Indian institution is notorious for and solely speed up the tempo of present interventions to ship on time. That’s, surely, essentially the most sustainable method to stave off, or at the least stability, China’s affect in Myanmar, and concurrently, take the AEP and NFP to loftier heights. *** Learn earlier elements of the sequence: Part I: India’s foreign policy targets with respect to Pakistan Part II: India’s foreign policy targets with respect to Pakistan’s obstructionist role in Central Asia Part III: Chumming up to US sure is beneficial for New Delhi but it can’t ignore robustness of ties with Russia Part IV: Expanding bilateral ties with Bangladesh vital for New Delhi’s ‘Act East’ targets Part V: India’s foreign policy for next 5 years: New Delhi should convey to US in no uncertain terms how importance of better ties hinges on favourable trade policies Part VI: India’s foreign policy for the next 5 years: Imran Khan’s offer for talks needs profound backing from China, Russia for serious consideration Part VII: India’s foreign policy for the next 5 years: From counter-insurgency ties to big investments, New Delhi must keep Sri Lanka warm to keep China at bay Your information to the newest cricket World Cup tales, evaluation, experiences, opinions, dwell updates and scores on https://www.firstpost.com/firstcricket/series/icc-cricket-world-cup-2019.html. MIGRANTS WELFARE Activists are demanding strict implementation of the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 to ensure welfare of inter-State migrants who are suffering due to the nationwide lockdown.
Tumblr media
About: The Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act, 1979 seeks to regulate the employment of inter-State migrants and their conditions of service. It is applicable to every establishment and contractors that employs five or more migrant workmen from other States; or if it had employed five or more such workmen on any day in the preceding 12 months. The principal employer is prohibited from employing inter-State workmen without a certificate of registration from the relevant authority. Every contractor who recruits workmen from one State for deployment in another State should obtain a licence to do so. As part of the licensing process, contractors are bound by certain conditions like committing them to providing terms and conditions. In no case, shall the wages be lower than what is prescribed under the Minimum Wages Act.  Important Info : Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2019: The proposed code has been introduced in the Parliament to merge 13 labour laws into a single piece of legislation. The Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act, 1979, is one of them.Activists fear that specific safeguards given to migrant workers may be lost as a result of this consolidation.  Source : The Hindu ( Social Issues ) Read UPSC Current affairs and Daily News Analysis from Best IAS Coaching in Bangalore Vignan IAS Academy PRINCIPLE OF ‘STRICT LIABILITY’ VS ‘ABSOLUTE LIABILITY’ The National Green Tribunal's order in the Visakhapatnam gas tragedy found LG Polymers prima facie liable under the 19th century English law, Principle of “strict liability”, which was made redundant in India by the Supreme Court in 1986.
Tumblr media
Strict liability principle: Under the “strict liability principle”, a party is not liable and need not pay compensation if a hazardous substance escapes his premises by accident or by an “act of God’” among other circumstances. The strict liability, evolved in an 1868 English case called Rylands versus Fletcher, provided companies with several exemptions from assuming liability. In the Visakhapatnam gas tragedy, even though the NGT directed the company to deposit an initial amount of ₹50 crore and formed a fact-finding committee, its use of the term “strict liability” has been questioned. Lawyers say the term “absolute liability” should have been used instead.  Important Info : Absolute Liability Principle: The Supreme Court, while deciding the Oleum gas leak case of Delhi in 1986, found strict liability woefully inadequate to protect citizens’ rights in an industrialised economy like India and replaced it with the ‘absolute liability principle’.Under the absolute liability principle, the apex court held that a company in a hazardous industry cannot claim any exemption. It has to mandatorily pay compensation, whether or not the disaster was caused by its negligence. The court said a hazardous enterprise has an “absolute non-delegable duty to the community”.The principle of absolute liability is part of Article 21 (right to life).  Source : The Hindu ( Disaster Management ) Read UPSC Current affairs and Daily News Analysis from Best IAS Coaching in Bangalore Vignan IAS Academy SAMPLE REGISTRATION SYSTEM (SRS) BULLETIN The Registrar General of India released its Sample Registration System (SRS) bulletin based on data collected for 2018. The move assumes significance, considering India’s official position that PoK belongs to India. Through this method, ultraviolet (UV) lights would be able to disinfect contaminated public spaces to stop the transmission of the virus.
Tumblr media
Background: Ultraviolet radiation The full spectrum of UV radiation from the sun can be subdivided into UV-A, UV-B and UV-C rays. UV-C rays are the most harmful and are completely absorbed by the Earth’s atmosphere. While both UV-A and UV-B rays are harmful, exposure to UV-B rays can cause DNA and cellular damage in living organisms. Increased exposure to it can cause cells to become carcinogenic, thereby increasing the risk of getting cancer. Ultraviolet Germicidal Radiation (UVGI): UVGI uses these “destructive properties” of UV light for disinfecting the air and preventing certain infectious diseases from spreading. UVGI replicates UV wavelengths that disinfects contaminated spaces, air and water.  Important Info : Is this method feasible? UVGI is a promising method for disinfection but the efficacy of it depends on its dose.UVGI is most effective in preventing infections that are chiefly spread through smaller droplets and not by direct contact or larger respiratory droplets.Using UVGI on a mass-scale, in public spaces such as schools, universities, restaurants and cinema halls may not be the most cost-effective way to approach disease prevention.
