We farewell Bert Cooper in song and dance in the finale of Mad Men
IT'S the best swansong you'll see on TV this year - the passing of agency head Bert Cooper in the season finale of Mad Men. Bert passes away just after the first moon landing. But his spirit sticks around long enough to break into a song and dance version of The Best Things In Life Are Free just for Don Draper.
Critics are already calling it a pitch-perfect send-off for one of Mad Men's most beloved characters.
We'll miss you, Bert. The second part of season 7 of Mad Men will run on showcase in 2015. - Charles Purcell

“Bravo” – Bert Cooper
Bravo. Hell, I would have yelled encore had that been a live performance, through my tears at Bert’s closing dance number. I’m not sure what I’d be yelling it for more–for Bert or for Roger, For Don or for Peggy or for Sally. I think it was for this episode, which somehow managed to top the magic that was last week and bring it all on home.
If we had to divide this season…
