BERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
½ cup almond milk
⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt
½ cup berries, fresh or frozen
½ banana, fresh or frozen, sliced
¼ cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1 tablespoon chia seeds
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. That’s it!
Note: I tend to use frozen berries/bananas for this smoothie, so I don’t add any ice. If you are using fresh produce, you might want to toss in a few ice cubes to keep it cold! Also, add in a bit of honey if you’d like it more on the sweet side!
ENJOY!!

So during 21 days of prayer in January, we drank a lot of smoothies! The funny thing is, we’ve never been smoothie people. Like, ever. But I got this wonderful little contraption for Christmas called a Magic Bullet, and that fantastic device was a game changer. :) We now tend to have a smoothie for lunch every day. They are quick and packed full of protein! Cannot wait to enjoy these little treats when it’s a billion degrees outside this summer. ;)
Cheers,
LDC
