This edition is marked by a significant stride towards gender inclusivity, with women occupying 32% of the coveted spots, representing a commendable improvement from previous editions.

The list also presents diverse talented and influential young Ghanaians who are uplifting the name of Ghana globally and represent inspiration, innovation, leadership, and social impact to the youth. The list includes notable personalities such as football stars Kudus Mohammed and Thomas Partey, and tech innovator Gregory Rockson. Young social media personalities such as Nana Tea and Olele Salvador are also recognized for their substantial contributions to Ghana’s cultural landscape.

On this, the first day of Black History Month 2022 (uk), the Daily Mirror used a picture of Bernard Mensah, a Bank of America president, in an article about Kwasi Kwarteng

I loathe Kwarteng. I despise all that he stands for; everything he's done and plans to do to this country as an old etonian, capital worshipping, kleptocratic, devoid of compassion, hypocritical tory. But ffs. Black people do not all look the same

One thing about both this (which, to be honest, could have been deliberate in more ways than one. Kwarteng is the archetypical 'model minority' who has benefitted enormously from the status quo, and has form when it comes to dismissing the realities of racism in the UK. What better way to remind him of how this country treats us than to subject him to the indignity of 'you all look the same to me', despite his extremely prominent role in cabinet...), and Rupa Huq's reductive observation that Kwarteng is 'superficially a Black man' is that both have been manipulated by conservatives' super-basic, whataboutish, understanding of racism. There's no depth, integrity or care in their understanding of racism; only opportunistic point scoring and gaslighting

For them, it's absolutely, massively racist to question the identity of a privileged Black person who has profited within the context of a white supremacist establishment, and who doesn't share the same perspectives and experiences with peers of a similar background marginalised by racism and/or class status. But it's not racist for the Met to strip search Black school kids (and find nothing in the majority of cases)

Of course there's a problem with suggesting Black people think and behave as a monolith, and of course progressives can 'do a racism'. That's what happens when this society is fundamentally racist; that's the point we've been trying to make for so. fucking. long. None of this is the gotcha they think it is

Tory types only care about the pigeonholing and dehumanisation when someone on the left - especially if they're not white - does it. Then they get excited, screaming 'racist!' before they've so much as drawn a breath. And, in the most incredibly weird display of the *very same* racism they're ostensibly calling out, they'll hound progressive Black and Asian commentators and politicians, demanding some kind of contrition. And they will still use 'woke' as a pejorative

Tories endorsed a whole report dismissing the role racism plays in disparities between communities across the UK (even in the midst of a pandemic which saw disproportionate deaths in Black and Asian communities, where Black and Asian NHS staff described hostile workplace cultures, and where Black people were disproportionately affected by increased police powers during lockdown). They abandoned Afghans when the Taliban took power, and contrived a deal to traffic asylum seekers to Rwanda. Priti Patel promised a 'regular drumbeat' of deportation flights to Jamaica. The Windrush scandal continues, with British citizenship now a two-tier system in which *potential* dual citizenship can result in being stripped of British citizenship without notice. They condemn attempts to teach and disseminate research on the impact of British colonialism, and Britain's role in the transatlantic slave trade. Again and again they've promoted tangible, structural racism - regardless of having the most ethnically diverse government in British history.

Galatasaray kulübü Kayserispor’da forma giyen Bernard Mensah için resmi teklifte bulundu.

24 yaşındaki Galalı oyuncuyu geçtiğimiz sezon Atletico Madrid’ten kiralayan Kayserispor sezon sonu oyuncunun bonservisini 3,6 Milyon Euro ödeyerek almıştı.

Fernando ile yollarını ayıran Galatasaray’ın Bernard Mensah için Kayserispor kulübüne 4 Milyon Euro ve 2 kiralık oyuncu teklif ettiği Kayserispor’un ise oyuncu için 7 Milyon Euro talep ettiği iddia edildi.

Panitikan: Tanong na “Ano”, “Bakit”, at “Paano”

Upang maintindihan kung ano ang mayroon sa panitikan, uumpisahan ko ito sa tanong na “Ano ang Panitikan?”, kung saan ito ay magbibigay-linaw sa pokus at konteksto ng isang paksa. Susundan ito ng tanong na “Bakit kailangan pag-aralan ang Panitikan?” upang bigyang liwanag ang mga batayan ng pagiging makabuluhan sa larangang ito. At pang-huling tanong na “Paano pinag-aaralan ang Panitikan?” na kung saan matatalakay at malalahad ang ilang posibleng paraang nararapat na pang-unawa sa mga produksyong pampanitikan.

 Ano ang Panitikan?

 Ang panitikan ay maituturing na sining na nabuo sa pamamagitan ng grupo ng mga salita. Ito ay representasyon ng mga kaganapan sa paligid, kritisismo sa kasaysayan o problematisasyon sa lipunan. Sa pamamagitan ng panitikan, nagpapaunawa ito sa atin ng mga spesipikong sitwasyon sa buhay ng isang lipunan sa paraang masining, may anyo, at imahinatibo.

 Bakit kailangan pag-aralan ang Panitikan?

 Ang pagkamulat ng kamalayan sa pag-aaral ng panitikan ay nakabubuo sa paglikha ng sariling paniniwala, opinyon, at pananaw. Ang pag-aaral ng panitikan ay nakatutulong sa paghasa ng sensibilidad at nagbibigay ng sapat na pang-unawa sa mga teksto. Sa pagbabasa ng iba’t ibang akdang pampanitikan, napagyayabong nito ang ating isipan, bokabularyo, kaalaman, at imahinasyon. Pinag-aaralan ang panitikan hindi lamang sa pamamagitan ng pagbabasa o pakikinig at pagkatapos ay lilimutin na. Hindi lamang din ito inaaral sa pamamagitan ng pagtanong kung nagustuhan at nagandahan ba rito ang mambabasa o kung hindi.

 Ang panitikan ay pinag-iisipan ng mabuti nang sa gayon ay magkaroon ito ng ambag sa lipunan at dagdag kamalayan ng isang indibidwal. Ngunit, hindi lahat ng mga naisulat ay panitikan, ayon kay Miguel Bernard, ang panitikan ay kaisipan at pagpapahayag: di-malilimot na kaisipan sa di-malilimot na pagpapahayag.

 Paano pinag-aaralan ang Panitikan?

 Ang pag-aaral ng panitikan ay ginagamitan ng kritikal na pag-iisip, ito ay pagtuklas sa mga dahilan ng manunulat kung bakit ito nailimbag, pag-alam sa buhay ng manunulat upang malaman kung ano ang tunay na mensahe ang nais ipabatid ng manunulat.

 Sa usapin ng porma o anyo, binubusisi ito sa paraan ng pagkaka-ayos o pagkaka-gawa ng isang akda. Kasama rin sa usapin ng pagsuri sa anyo ang pag gamit ng wika o ng salitang ginagamit ng nagsusulat. May pagkakataon kasi na naka sampung pahina na ang binabasa mo pero wala pa ring pumapasok na konsepto o imahe sa kukote mo.

 Sa nilalaman o content, binubusisi kung ano ba ang sinasabi ng isang akda. Bawat akda ay may mensahe, bawat akda ay may diskurso, tuwiran man ito o hindi. Maaari itong personal, pulitikal, pilosopikal, ideolohikal, relehiyoso o kung anu-anu pa.

 Sa usapin ng orihinalidad, tinitigan kung ang akda ba ay natatangi sa kanyang anyo, konsepto, at diskurso. Bunga ng masigasig na pag-aaral at pag-iisip, nakalilikha ang isang manunulat ng mga panibagong paraan at nilalaman ng isang akda. Dahil ambag ito ng malinaw sa pagsulong ng kaalaman at talino ng tao.
