Henry Ventriloquest, mirror reflection of Henry Stickmin

Resident SILLIEST guy, a clever little trickster, one of Capt. Bailfalse's three evil henchmen, somehow everybody's friend, improbably reality bending funny man, and well known unkillable immortal. He's very aware of all these facts and is just living life to it's fullest, for the entertainment of himself of course.

My favourite thing is to talk abt VQ's opposite-ness to Sticks so here I goooo-! Primary details include the fact its color motif is orange, opposite to Sticks' associated blue. He's more sociable and talkative. And what else uhh oh yeah he literally CANNOT DIE how could he this toon runs on slapstick. It could be turned to ash or squashed by a truck and he'd still come out fine (with birds spinning around his head or perfectly okay, whichever he finds funnier as a result).

Misc details include: Since Sticks is animated by Flash, the opposite of that would be something hand drawn, which is (In-Universe) where VQ originated from. And Stickmin being mostly recognized for his eye design, so Ventriloquest has a misaligned eye condition. Both still function, but his left eye isn't as good as his right. He's learned to live with this disability ever since he was created.

//AN: When I talk about his origins, I can only speak about his disability using research. Feel free to send me any corrections about Strabismus because I really do want to keep this part of his character. He may act silly but he doesn't have misaligned eyes for that reason, he is just playing god which is unrelated

But he also works as Stickmin's reflection, just a silly guy here for the thrills with inguity to get themselves out of trouble. How they both don't care too hard about the consequences until it devastatingly affects them! — but that's hv au plot development for next time.

He plays the role that RHM would have, just being a powerhouse that can whip HRM's hiney at any given point. But the difference here is that Henry V is alot more affectionate and giddy during these beat down that he considers as playing, and is cartoonishly violent instead of lethally violent. RHM causes destruction as a means to an end, but Ventriloquest causes destruction because he loves it. He's a force of discordance....For the funny.

And if you ever cross or make fun of him he'll drop an anvil on your skull ^_^

Revamped Svenja and Kayla's designs a bit. (Og post here)

Just some info to get to know the two better:

Svenja's a very stoic person. Usually has the same =| expression on her face. But that doesn't mean she's emotionless, she just has trouble expressing her emotions.

Aside from that though, she's actually a pretty good at socializing. She's a great diplomatic, and an even greater strategist. She's worked very hard to get to the position she'll eventually earn. She's also got an interest in Toppat history and previous leaders.

Kayla is a Lot more wild and violent than her. Usually the main attacker in raids, she's very versatile in combat, whether using a gun, a knife, or her bare fists. She loves the adrenaline rushes it gives her, doing very well in high stakes situations.

She's also pretty awkward though, not really caring to interact with the other Toppats, save for a few and of course, Svenja. She owes a lot to her for letting Kayla become her right hand and is extremely loyal over her.

This one is dedicated to all my friends mutuals followers and just everyone who's been here in thsc fandom through 4 freaking years and still joining now. That's so cool...!!!!

I don't know how this game has managed to latch itself into my brain for so so long, but I'm grateful for it. Especially since I got to meet and made one of my closest friend's ever, @digital-roots. This guy is the one who made me stick around, because if it weren't for them lending an open ear, I wouldn't have over my fear of showing my art to an all-to-see public space. He's made me feel more confident because of their excitement and love for what I do. And I'm so grateful we were able to grow closer beyond our shared interest of this game. They are one of the most honest, thoughtful, sincerest person I've ever known and I'm really grateful I got to be his friend.

Lt. HRM :) tbh he's not too much of an opposite when compared with RHM, he just fights on the side of justice.

If there's any keypoints I'd say about him it's the fact that he's a really good detective, he's got expertise in making logical deductions, control of his temperment and tone when interrogating suspects, and perfect memory recollection....Though it's not always a great thing considering what he's been through.

Rose Ellisha is the opposite of Ellie Rose. At the beginning of the hv au, she has no strive in life to do anything at all. She's very pessimistic, misanthropic, and cold to anyone who interacts with her. Her jacket is zipped up all the way in any depictions of this. She doesn't have a zebra stripe yet.

After escaping Red Mesa Penitentiary (hv au equivalent to The Wall) with Henry Ventriloquest, she grows attached to the cartoony guy. It was a strange sight to have seen such a bubbly and cheerful person, who wears all his emotions at once and genuinely enjoys being in Rose's presence. It's strange to her, because she believed no one really would.

When they join TVOG corp to become interns, they eventually become friends. And after gaining the trust of their boss, director Charles Rebelivin, she takes the kindness she learned from Henry and extends it to him.

He was a jerk at first, just like her. But after no longer feeling alone, he does (begrudgingly) enjoy their company too. The two of them make the effort to make him feel lile he's their friend.

Rose Ellisha has her jacket unzipped and her brolen heart shirt on display. Because she feels comfortable around her friends. During a shopping trip at the mall, the two of them encourage her to spend money for herself and indulge in her interests of the emo scene. She dyes her hair a zebra print, it looked tacky on the shelves, and she loves how it looks on herself. She gave them both a 👍 when she showed it off.

She is still very stoic, and her overall personality hasn't really changed. What important is that she has significantly less degrading thoughts she has about others and especially herself. She is happier with the friends she's made. She's mostly 😐

Henry Ventriloquest and the L for Laughs workshop 🎳🧸

From 1920-1960, the L for Laughs workshop was an animation studio for hire, usually doing adverts or to assist another animation studio. A lesser known fact is that the workshop created its own original cartoons, staring it's most prominent character, Henry Ventriloquest

I imagine that he began more alike a Fleischer studios type of character, then his middle evolution would be more like a loony tunes era for his design, then finally he's more slick and modernized for a colored cartoon character)

Gabe Geppettoamicoitaliano, or Animator G for short, was a senior director for the animation department. He created Henry Ventriloquest in his own image. He gave him his matching his overalls, bowtie, and misaligned eye.

He based his personality on some trouble-making tendencies he had as a child. He loved his little creation with such sincere fondness, he always wanted Henry V to be real, and then he was.

The choice critters are the mini mascots of LFOR workshop, they were sold as toys back in the day. Henry used to play with them and believed they were real like him. G never really cared for the other mascots, but he knew how much they meant to Henry, so he took the time to treat the toys like they were alive as well.

G never thought he'd grow this attached to Henry. He knew he liked his creation, it's just that he never thought he'd grow as anything more than his original concept as a trickster. But then, he watched him as the boy developed a curiosity for the world he now lives in.

His excitement for every new "adventure" they would write for him never faltering. Henry loved living in the real world. G knew he should actually start treating him like he was a real boy, teaching him real-world values, while still letting him keep that mischievous glint inside of him.

Because he couldn't actually stay as a cartoon forever, could he?

LFOR workshop disbanded by the end of the 1960s due to funding problems and a lack of finances to pay their workers. Henry was sad to see his home close down, but G promised they're going to be okay. With that, they packed their bags and walked away.

It has been 94 years since Henry V was created in LFOR's workshop, and Henry V is still 28 years old.

coverted Toppats to Cowwoys for the hv au

The Cowwoy Posse are a group of cowboys, usually on the outskirts of Red Mesa, who do everything in their power to do good.

Usually they're sent on missions to go help people :) They regularly fight petty criminals or more bust organized crime factions. Or they travel to other locations if trouble arises there. Though not all Cowwoys use the airship or train, if they're skilled enough (such as being of ranger rank) they ride their own horses. Crease and Piercings have their own and they're named Crane and Hoops respectively, those horses are also lesbians.

All Cowwoy members are also required to learn basic survival skills, such as foraging or hunting, for when they take trips across the Red Mesa that'll quickly deplete their resources.

If there's one crime syndicate that have really gotten the most of their attention towards dismembering, it'd be the TVOGXART corporation. And all Cowwoys hate the TVOG.

They're not swindled or easily tricked by promises of riches, because they REGULARLY beat up rich people who are affiliated with the TVOGXART corporation. They've all sworn to do good because as bleak as things can be they want to prove that there is a beating heart of kindness in a world that regularly profits off of misery.

They are kind and they are good. because the hv au society wants people to believe that is no longer possible.

Thank you to @digital-roots for sending me 5 toppats to turn into cowwoy members :) I had a lot of fun doing these, I really love making good-ified mirror characters just as much as I like making evil dopplegangers. I'm so proud of how these guys turned out. like look at them. Theyre so cool and awesome and theyre gonna save the fucking day. even though the world they live in worsens, it's in Cowwoy honor to still try and make it a bit more bareable.

btw just take the messages as like, unpolished draft only for the descriptions of the characters. I was just playing around with the idea process. I think Piercings knows how to use a phone and Ms Hero is (eventually) fine with the Regal Bronzeage since that guy's an actual superhero. The more the merrier. two cakes

Also ignore the message where it says ms hero ues he/him cuz i updated it. ms hero uses he/she because while his pronouns may interchange, her sense of JUSTICE!!! does not :)

I like to think that if each hv au counterpart met their thsc selves they would try to strangle eachother because they're on opposing sides of good and evil morals. but not Henry Ventriloquest or Henry Stickmin, they're literally just eachothers reflections. and would be friends yay they like to cause mischief and get a little silly

Rose Ellisha and Ellie Rose would also just be chill meeting their mirrored selves fr fr. Rose is more reserved when meeting new people but would warm up to Ellie cuz she's super awesome like that.

This is both Henry V celebrating the anniversary of Escaping The Prison and just me wanting to draw them together
