sometimes I worry that I come across as a lenovo gaming laptop fangirl or something. but no, I just have watched a representative sample of jarrodstech videos and it seems like they just have a slight but consistent edge on the segment of the market one should probably care about these days. if anything I should be a dell homer historically because that's all our family has really used from the era where they were really rolling

#ocarina of time #oot #impa #zelda #sheik #ganondorf #i think i decided zelda/sheik is a cornish rex but im still not sure about impa & ganon’s breeds #visually tho impa is built kind of like a bengal and i sort of hc her as having albinism so she has v little pigmentation regardless #ganon is like. a medium haired maine coon or similar large breed. with tortoiseshell coloration that is incredibly rare in male cats #the fur pattern i gave him is a little bit more organized than in actual tortoiseshells i think but sshhhhh #and then sheik’s eye color changes to red and her fur pattern also slightly changes #to vaguely resemble sheik’s emo hairstyle covering one eye in the game :3 #anyway. yeah

One of our cats, Baby Squeaks, has had chronic allergies and overgrooming issues for years now, and we're starting him on a new med for it all, BUT to help in the meantime he has cat onesies we put him in so he can't overgroom especially at night when we're sleeping.

Except he learned how to peel himself in this one by reaching back, biting the Velcro, and pulling it.

So this was my solution for the day until I get around to putting a button on it. A big paper clip.

He hated it but it worked great!

#cats #get paper clipped idiot #he's a bengal (we're pretty sure mix but the woman we rescued him from paid 3k for him so she either got scammed or his coat is just light)#so he's very smart lol. he can open doors and understands leverage and has a dozen different ways he pitches his voice to get attention #anyway we literally got the med today it has been fucking 4-5 years of nothing working until finally this week goddamn. hopefully it helps #my poor baby is so itchy he's given himself bald spots :( he looks extremely cute in the onesies tho #the paper clip didn't cause him discomfort. he hated it because he couldn't peel himself with it on lol #anyway enjoy this pic of my son Baby Squeaks 💖

Leeli has FINALLY had her kittens!

There are at least* six. All are TINY wiggly charcoal kittens. Yep, all of them, six tiny black kittens with their white mama, they're an interracial family. xD

All of them seem to be healthy and Leeli is doing well! She started having them at about 7am and kept on until about 10:45ish. Never in my WILDEST dreams did I think she would have more than two live kittens after what she'd been through, and now she has six adorable little fluffy jellybeans curled up next to her, all alive and nursing and squeaky.

*she might still have one more to go, I feel another kittenish lump in her. Maraly waited two hours between her 4th and 5th kittens though, and this happens sometimes, so I'm not worried.

Maraly helped me midwife! I had her locked up at first, because she was upsetting Leeli, but I finally let her out while Leeli was distracted with kitten 3 and Maraly EAGERLY helped with the last three babies. She jumped right in and helped clean them!

The kittens are already purring and I- 😭💜💜

There are two extra small ones, but I think those are 5 and 6 so they should start to bulk up soon.

Leeli chose a nice box with a blanket in it for her nest (we specifically made it for the girls so I'm glad one of them used it) and it's right in our living room. She let me be right there and help her just like Maraly did, and she was also grateful I was there. I had to take off work today to be here, but it was very, very worth it.

Once again, kittens won't have names until they're at least a month old and we know they'll all make it! I'll try and keep you updated on both litters (11 kittens!! it's like in ye olden days of my childhood! xD)
