Summary: When a notorious press member became too personal,your marvel family stood up for you.

The flashbulbs exploded in synchronized bursts as you entered the Endgame press conference, the air thick with anticipation. You, the newest member of the MCU family, were the talk of the town, and tonight, all eyes were on you.

The lights dimmed, a hush fell over the packed auditorium. All eyes swivelled towards the entrance as the press conference host boomed, "Let's give a warm welcome to Y/N L/N, our newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!"

Chris Evans, seated beside Benedict Cumberbatch, couldn't help but steal a glance, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips. Sebastian Stan, across from him, mirrored the sentiment, his gaze lingering a beat longer. Tom Hiddleston, ever the gentleman, offered a small, knowing nod, while Anthony Mackie, your on-screen partner, winked playfully, muttering, "Ready to steal the show, Y/N?"

After introductions and greetings, everyone settled into their assigned sofas, you positioned amongst the Avengers heartthrobs. The press conference began, questions flying thick and fast, your name met with excited murmurs and camera clicks.

You settled onto your designated sofa, a nervous flutter in your stomach. But as the press conference began, you found your rhythm, your wit and intelligence shining through your responses. Your laughter filled the room, captivating not just the audience, but also the men around you.

Their gazes, once discreet, became bolder. Chris leaned in, his smile widening with every insightful point you made. Benedict chuckled at your witty retort, his eyes sparkling with appreciation. Sebastian's lips twitched, and Tom offered a thumbs-up, his smile tinged with a hint of something deeper. Even Anthony, usually the joker, seemed captivated, his gaze lingering on you with newfound respect.

Then, the atmosphere shifted. A reporter, notorious for his inappropriate remarks, directed his attention solely at you, his motives seemingly more personal than professional, began peppering you with flirtatious questions, his gaze lingering a little too long on your figure. The room grew tense, and you could sense a change in your fellow MCU stars. Chris's normally relaxed posture stiffened, his jaw clenching imperceptibly. Sebastian's smile vanished, replaced by a steely glint in his eyes. Tom, even Tom, seemed to radiate a cool disapproval.

"Y/N," the reporter drawled, his voice dripping with insincerity, "you're absolutely captivating. Tell us, does playing alongside such handsome co-stars come with any perks?"

Benedict leaned closer, his voice barely a whisper, "You don't have to answer that, Y/N. He doesn't deserve your attention." His words, laced with a quiet intensity, sent a wave of gratitude through you.

You gave him a polite smile, your response witty and deflecting. But you saw Chris clench his jaw, and Sebastian crossed his arms, a scowl forming. You appreciated their silent show of support, focusing on the next question.

However, the reporter persisted. "Come on," he pressed, "surely there's some juicy behind-the-scenes romance brewing..."

Before you could even formulate a reply, a chorus of voices interrupted.

Suddenly, Chris interrupted, his jaw clenched, stood up, his voice low and dangerous. "Excuse me, but your line of questioning is overstepping boundaries."

Anthony, equally protective, rose, his voice booming, "Show some respect, man!"

Benedict, ever the diplomat, interjected, "Let's keep things professional, shall we?"

Sebastian, his eyes narrowed, added, "We won't tolerate any further disrespect towards Y/N."

Tom, ever eloquent, finished the thought, "Her talent speaks for itself, no need for cheap tactics."

The reporter, flustered and intimidated, stammered an apology, slinking back in his seat. You sat there, speechless, the warmth of their protectiveness washing over you.

The press conference continued, but the mood had changed. The air buzzed with a new energy, a silent understanding between you and the men around you. You were no longer just the newest star; you were their colleague, their friend, and they would fiercely protect your place in their universe.

Later, after the formalities were over, Chris approached you, a sheepish grin on his face. "Sorry about that," he muttered, "we don't take kindly to anyone disrespecting our team."

You smiled, touched by their protectiveness. "It means a lot," you admitted, "having you all have my back."

A comfortable silence settled between you, before Chris chuckled. "Besides," he winked, "who wouldn't stand up for someone as brilliant and beautiful as you?"

Your cheeks flushed, and you laughed, the warmth in Chris's eyes making your heart skip a beat. Maybe being an Avenger wasn't just about saving the world, but also finding a new kind of family, one that protected you not just from villains, but also from inappropriate reporters and perhaps, even budding feelings.

And as you looked around at the smiling faces of your co-stars, you knew you wouldn't trade this experience for anything, even if it meant facing a few intrusive questions along the way. After all, who wouldn't want to be protected by Earth's Mightiest Heroes, both on and off screen?

Y/n watched as her famous boyfriend was filming for the new Netflix show "Eric." She smiled softly at the man in front of her. He looked absolutely handsome, especially for playing a man dressed in the 80's. Y/n would've never guessed he would look this handsome in this outfit. She watched as his hand moves out of the puppet when they finished the scene. She also watched as Benedict flexed his fingers to let them breath a bit and she swore her breath hitched as he did so. Wow. Y/n has never really focused on the way hands moved as much but now that he was working with puppets in this series she was more focused then she's ever been. Oh how she wished it was her as the puppet. She wanted to hit herself for even thinking that. But was she jealous of the puppet in this moment? Yes yes she was, how ridiculous was that.

Benedict runs up to her taking off his headband a light smile on his lips, "How was it my love?" His British accent now shinning through after using his American one for the scene. Y/n smiled shyly.

"It was amazing, as always, Although I love hearing that beautiful accent of yours." She says giggling lightly. He grins widely wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

"Well, thank you for reminding me my accent is beautiful my love." He places a soft kiss on top of her head, his nose nuzzling against her hair.

"Of course, how can I not?" She scrunches up her nose towards him as he pulls back to look at her. "Now I know you're dying for your smoke break." She pulls out his pack of cigarettes watching his face turn into a big grin.

"Ah, you know me so well. Care to join me?" He asks grabbing the box from her hand tucking it in his shirt pocket.

"Is that even a question my dear." She smirks at him wrapping her arm around his as they walk away from the shoot to have their smoke break. She grabs the lighter from her pocket. "Do you mind sharing one?" Benedict just smiles wider.

"Is that even a question?" He says mocking her tone that she just was using on him. She lightly hits his shoulder shaking her head.

"Dick." She laughs. She watches as he grabs one cigarettes' from the box putting it between his lips. Her gaze was completely on his hands and the way it touched his lip so gently when he put the cigarettes' between his lips. He scrunches his eyebrows towards her.

"You okay my love?" He asks snapping her out of her trance of day dreaming about her mans hands.

"O-Oh yeah, I'm fine." She stutters clearing her throat right after. She brings the lighter up, lighting up his smoke. He smirks watching her carefully through his eyelashes, he was curious on why she was acting so nervous all the sudden. She looked at his hands again watching as he takes the bud out of his mouth, the way his hands were just touching the cigarettes' made her go mad. Benedict tilts his head handing the nicotine to her.

"My love, you don't look okay are you sure? We could end the shoot early. We've been at this for a couple hours now I could take you home." He asks concerned for her well being. Home with Benedict... that did sound good to her but she couldn't distract him from his job.

"No, I'm okay but how about I go to the hotel and I'll meet you when you're done." She smiled softly placing a soft touch on his shoulder. He chuckles and nods reaching over for the cig, her eyes wandering down to those long fingers caressing her hand softly as he grabs the cancer stick.

"We have about an hour left, I'll be back soon. Rest out my love." He wraps his arm around her waist pulling her into a soft chaste kiss. He grins down at her as he pulls back before running back to the set. Y/n sighs softly, she can't believe she let her fantasy of his hands to intervene with his work that he was concerned for her.

Later at the hotel, Y/n was in the nice fancy hotel tub that made her feel like a queen but mostly just calmed her down.

"Hello, love?" Benedict shouts from the entrance. Y/n smiles softly at his voice, he said it was going to be for an hour but yet it took three hours for them to finish the scene. He enters the bathroom leaning against the door frame as he looked at her all under the bubbles, her hair up in a messy bun, holding a glass of wine to her chest. "Wow." He breaths out. Y/n blushes taking a small sip of the wine.

"Yes?" She asks a small giggling escaping her lips. He walks over to the side of the tub kneeling down to become face to face to her.

"You look ravishing, have I ever told you that?" He tilts his head sweetly watching the love of his life continue to blush and hide her face with the glass.

"About a million times." She smiles sweetly.

"How are you feeling? You weren't being yourself earlier, are you okay?" He asks moving his hand to place on her cheek. Her breath hitches, her face probably looking like a tomato.

"It's nothing." She was able to gasp out, how was she supposed to tell the man she's been dating for one year that she gets turned on by his hands?

"It's not." He knits his eyebrows together curiously. "Come on tell me."

"Your hands." She manages to let out. Her eyes widening at the words coming out. He chuckles deeply shaking his head.

"I don't understand. My hands?" He questions looking at his hands and then back at her.

"Your hands..." She mutters turning her head away. "Are very attractive, and I was thinking of the things you could do with them." Benedict chuckles deeply at her comment.

“Oh my love, if only you told me earlier.” He grins gently taking the cup out of her hands his fingers lightly touching hers as he does so. He knew what he was doing now and she was loving every moment of it. He smirks before pulling her out of the bathtub bridal style she playfully screams as he does not expecting him to pull her out his shirt dripping with water but he didn’t care. He ran into the room cradling her naked body before throwing her on the bed the sound of giggles escaping her mouth.

“Benedict what are you doing! I’m getting the bed wet.” She laughs sitting up slightly.

“I’m going to show you exactly what I could do with these hands.” He smirks softly placing his thumb over her mouth.

Criminal Justice (2007)- Episodes 1-5. Watching Con O'Neill's old stuff cause it's fun. Day #? RALPH STONE!

Warnings: Murder. Blood. Drug Use. Needle Use/Injection is shown on the scene. Drunk driving. Accused/discussed sexual assault. Abusive parents, grief, and general bullshit in the justice system.

Should you watch this if you haven't: YES! Five episodes, each being an hour, but if you don't have any issues with the warning, it should be a fun time. I was on the edge of my seat for most of this show and Con is a very important character! He is on screen more than most of his other tv parts and is having a great time. It's a story about one defendant and the shit that goes down as he's tried for the crime.

I'm going to be honest I skipped through this ep a ton. I generally got the gyst. I'm here for my guy, you know. 

I watched a bit, but this just establishes our protagonist's life in jail. 

I skipped Ralph's scene/ the trial. Seriously the preview in ep 1 gives you the gist. Read a summary. Etc. His roomie is great.  

AHHH RALPHS SMILE. "I don't care what you'd do as a lawyer, just as a human being" AHHH. 

GOD HIS CELLMATE IS SO GOOD.

HAHHHAHHAHAHAHHAH! WTF?!?!?!??! Oh, poor ralph. You guy just blowing up in court.

At this point, if I was Ralph Stone, I wouldn't really believe him, but that's what that whole grin was for. He just knew our guy was innocent!

Scene passes without note. But a few prison scenes go by.

Final thoughts:

I think the fact that this was a mob member being the real murder and that it was covered up was the real thing here. The entire point and moral the audience was meant to learn. It didn't matter if Ben had the best case, the entire Crown was against him. Ralph and his team could have been the best defense lawyers in the world and it still would have gotten buried. I'm happy the final evidence came out, obviously, but Ben was fucked over in so many ways. Now what life does he have? He lost his friends, his trust in his family, and is now destined to fall back into the system he knows. It's a shame. 

Con: 11+/10. Long hair AND glasses AND he's Exhausted! Perfect role. I want him. I want to be him. He's divorced, and sad, and I love it.

Ralph saved this series for me personally. He was so much fun. I will be updating the Con list here soon to include bit TV roles. Ralph is going to be high on my ranking. We are given a Con character who has REAL impact on the story, introduces the audience to the rules of this world, AND GETS A HAPPY ENDING! It's brilliant. Obviously, there are moral issues to him being such a good defense attorney to allow criminals to get away, but this whole story was about giving Ralph a different perspective. He's a slime-ball but he's not totally against change. Willing to look at other perspectives. He started to genuinely care about his client, and didn't treat it as some weird game of chess. Him genuinely helping the younger defense attorney was nice, especially because he rarely blew up at her for her choices. He did his best to help where he could and didn't take things personally when shit blew up. 

Con's acting here is so fun and fluid! I hate being a person that ties OFMD into everything, but this is kind of what I want Izzy to become. Con's allowed to be fun! He's allowed to be mad, suspicious, have doubt etc. There are a few scenes that got me chuckling just by his face! He feels really confident and comfortable in this role. He talks with his hands! He's a dick, a total slime-ball, but he really cares about getting things done right! I love it. 

Everyone else: 8/10. Nothing really stood out besides our protagonist, and after a quick google, he won an award for this role. Which is deserved. He does great. I liked the characters the show wanted me to like, and vice versa. 

Story 7/10: Intriguing. I had fun, but this show sits more in the turn off your brain and gets swept along by the bullshit, vs trying to solve it yourself. 

Overall. 9/10: I highly recommend it if the tags don't worry you. Con is in this enough to justify a Con watch. I have a thing for Professor esk Con. I will not be ashamed about that. His whole speech about how he was perceived was nice. Now, this is about five hours of commitment, but If you need something longer I'd recommend it.

Headcanon: TV

Logan doesn’t really watch TV shows. He doesn’t really care enough to pay attention, action or otherwise. It's fiction. He's lived through almost every war. Why would he care about a stuntman jumping out of a helicopter? (Besides it doesn't work like that. The eardrum would definitely burst)

He does, however, love to watch nature documentaries. Whenever he can’t sleep or even with some downtime, he’ll go through two six packs and an entire season of Planet Earth. He only recognizes David Tennant or Benedict Cumberbatch as “oh the guy who narrated the documentary on penguins.”

Actor Benedict Cumberbatch's home in London was attacked and damaged by a former chef wielding a fish knife.

Cumberbatch, his wife and their three children were at home when Jack Bissell, 35, kicked through the front garden's iron gate.

He shouted: "I know you've moved here, I hope it burns down," a court was told earlier this month.

Bissell pleaded guilty to criminal damage at Wood Green Crown Court on 10 May and was fined £250.

He was also given a three-year restraining order preventing him going near Cumberbatch's family and the area they live in.

Details of the case were prevented from being reported until blanket restrictions were successfully challenged by the Daily Mail this week.

Bissell, who previously worked as a chef at a Mayfair hotel until 2020, pulled up a plant and threw it at the garden wall before spitting at the intercom and tearing it loose using a fish knife, the court was told.

He fled the scene but was arrested after his DNA was found on the intercom, according to reports.

A source close to Cumberbatch told the Daily Mail: "Naturally all of the family were absolutely terrified and thought this guy was going to get in and hurt them.

"Luckily it never went that far. Benedict and Sophie have had many sleepless nights since worrying that they may be targeted again."

The prosecution told the court that prior to his attack, Bissell bought two packs of pitta bread from a nearby shop and told the shopkeeper he was going to break in and burn down the house.

It is not clear why Bissell targeted Cumberbatch and he offered no defence in court.

He has a previous conviction for theft, three warnings for offences against property, a public order offence and a drug offence. In 2015, he was photographed being arrested during protests against military intervention in Syria in central London.

Ten Characters, Ten Fandoms, Ten Tags

Thanks for tagging @chrisoels ! At first I thought I don't have that many fandoms but then I found out that I actually have way too many😅 (why do I always have to overthink stuff like this?) So as there's no clear rules given here - I split it into the list of 10 characters and the list of 10 fandoms because why not:

TEN CHARACTERS - lets start with something normal...

John "Jack" Robinson (from Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries series) - for making all the most minimalistic reactions feel sooo intense with his voice, his face, his appearence and the way he can blink... He's the coolest quiet guy!❤

Amelie (from Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, 2001, dir. Jean-Pierre Jeunet) - nice, quiet girl who is not best at socialising and doesn't enjoy sex (greysexual?) yet loves to make other people happy. Doing good things without being noticed makes her feel powerful and make her feel like Zorro. I love that she eventually gets some kind of reward for all that and the kissing scene in the end is sooo very sweet❤

Pollyanna (from Pollyanna, 1913 novel written by Eleanor H. Porter) [books counts too I guess?] - for looking at the positive side of every situation, what's more to say? Best way to live your life when you're too empathetic👍

Benton Fraser (from Due South series) - a guy from other realm: elegant, polite and humble, obeying all the rules and still be the smartest and most effective police officer around. Not to mention how handsome and cute he is! (take it for ace version of "hot") and scenes like when he falls into the snow in end credits I could watch forever❤ (so bad his asexual smart-ass potential has been wasted by producers in every next season...)

Young Bilbo Baggins (from The Hobbit, or There and Back Again written by J.R.R. Tolkien) - the book character once more: the guy, who starts up as the classical loser, the smallest in the group, knowing nothing, understanding nothing and being scared of his own shadow - when given a chance proves his potential for the greatest deeds, smartest solving problems and bravest of actions💪And the talking to the dragon on the top of that, OMG!!!🤯 (sorry, but Peter Jackson version packed with CGI and unnecessary stuff for me was emotionally flat as a pancake😩)

Zorro (from Zorro, 1957 Walt Disney series) - ZORRO!!! if that's not self-explanatory I don't know what to say😂

Z (from Ant Z , 1998dir. Eric Darnell and Tim Johnson) - for: "Why does everybody have to dance the same way?"

Sherlock Holmes (from Sherlock BBC series) and Gregory House (from House M.D. series) - well it is technically the same character (like Doctor Who or like James Bond - played by multiple actors): brilliant antisocial detective no matter if he is played by Benedict Cumberbatch or Hugh Laurie. And if not for his stunning personality (you may love him, you may hate him but you can't stay indifferent) - all the undefined interactions, dialogs and puns between Sherlock and John or between Greg House and Lisa Cuddy are just pure gold❤️‍🔥

Howard Brackett (from In & Out, 1997 dir. Frank Oz) - sooo sweet, I consider him my favorite ace movie character💜💚 (the 1990's movie tells him to be "gay" but I'd say it's an obvious misrecognition and I'd need another post to tell more about that guy...😋)

Jareth the Goblin King (from Labyrinth 1986, dir. Jim Henson) - well... that's another guy that I sooo much need another post to talk about😆 Starred by David Bowie, nuff said😎

TEN FANDOMS (don't worry, this part is much shorter):

Labyrinth (1986, dir. Jim Henson) and its fancomic Girls Next Door (I love that in the fancomic Jareth gets muuuch more good time teasing and flirting Sarah!😋) - what to say? Everything is magical and fancy here but never too naive

X-men - a talent that makes you special also makes you an outcast (which is not any different from the real world actually...) Also cool looking action scenes and young Hugh Jackman as the Wolverine.

Collateral (2004, dir. Michael Mann) - I watched it for the first time in 2021 and it became my biggest obsession, hyperfixation and life perspective changing experience❤️‍🔥 (again - most definitely some other post to talk about it) But apart from my madness it's also is just a very good action movie with nice soundtrack. And ppl saying they hate Tom Cruise but loved Collateral says a lot about it!👍

Terminator 2: The Judgement Day. It's like Zorro to me - obssesed since my childhood and never get over it

Fiddler on The Roof - pure perfection

M.A.S.H. series - classic

House M.D. - apart from everything else it was also a great help during medical studies - nice thing when you can memorise weird disease symptoms with an episode😉

Toy Story - fascinating thing to watch every next movie growing up with you - from your childhood problems to middle age issues...

Matrix - hyperfixation of 13 years old me (but the first movie I choose to treat as a whole story)

Garfield - 😁

Prompt: create a movie concept for the story of the boy who cried wolf as a comedy-drama, but from the point of view of the wolf, who wishes to become domesticated.

Title: The Wolf Who Cried

Tagline: He just wanted to be a good boy.

Logline: Tired of the wild life, a gentle wolf named Wolfgang dreams of becoming a domesticated pet. His attempts to win over a shepherd boy and his family lead to a hilarious chain of misunderstandings and a heartwarming tale of acceptance and finding your pack.

Characters:

Wolfgang: (Voice of a charming and witty actor like Benedict Cumberbatch) A gentle wolf with big dreams of becoming a house pet. He's quite clumsy and often misreads social cues, leading to comedic situations.

Finn: (Voice of a young, energetic child actor) A naive and kind-hearted shepherd boy who enjoys the thrill of excitement.

Martha: (Voice of a warm and down-to-earth actress) Finn's practical mother who doesn't trust wolves.

Gronk: (Voice of a deep and booming actor) Wolfgang's gruff but secretly supportive alpha wolf brother.

Plot:

Wolfgang is tired of the harsh realities of pack life. He dreams of a warm fire, a belly full of kibble, and someone to scratch behind his ears. Inspired by a story about a pampered Pomeranian, he sets his sights on the nearby farm and Finn, the young shepherd boy, as his potential human.

Wolfgang's attempts at domestication are met with hilarity and misunderstanding. His attempts to "herd" the sheep lead to chaos, his gentle offerings of berries are mistaken for attacks, and his frustrated howls are interpreted as ferocious threats. Each misunderstanding leads to Finn crying wolf, causing the villagers to panic and Wolfgang to lose hope.

Dejected and heartbroken, Wolfgang breaks down in tears – not howls, but genuine tears of sadness (the "crying" moment of the title). This unexpected display of emotion is witnessed by Finn, who realizes Wolfgang is different from the ferocious beasts he's been taught to fear.

Finn starts to understand Wolfgang's intentions and sees his gentle nature. He begins sneaking Wolfgang scraps from the kitchen and secretly teaches him tricks. A bond starts to form.
