obviously it was a shitty thing for Ben to have done (obviously.) but I do understand why he was upset. I mean, they’re making his serious girlfriend live in a tent, he can be a little resentful that he’s abiding by this no relationship rule -which is way harder on him than anyone else- while Peter and Balth break it. Still, not cool.

honestly benadick is still one of my favorite characters

we are, however, in a fight rn because he is acting very biphobic at the moment. from the stand point of a person ben is being really shitty and were we to be friends in real life i would drop him like a hot potato for a while until he understood why what he said was shitty. from the stand point of him just being a character in a show he stands to grow a lot from this experience if the candle wasters address it (which i think they need to) and can be a great point for a heck of a lot of character development which i am all about

so i have a little theory about the black dress beatrice video and what we might see. (spoilery for the play i guess??)

so we still haven't had the whole 'nothing in the world that I love as much as you' line shown yet so ben hasn't actually admitted his feelings to beatrice even though at this point in the play he has. so maybe in the next video we see beatrice in her black dress and she either goes along with 'hero's dead!' or is at least feeling concerned for hero who is possibly still in hospital. perhaps she never actually specifies what is wrong, she is just talking about how out of control everything got (so if pedro and claudio watch it is plausible that they could see it as confirmation that hero died),

and then ben appears in the video and tries to comfort her again but accidentally blurts out his feelings for her. 

please?

basically i am desperate to see benadick's declaration and i need it now.
