Behold, Ben and Ismelda's kids

I've had Artemis and Apollo's designs in my head for well over two years now?? I had always planned on including an adopted third child which resulted in Astraeus, as being the basic bitch that I am, I wanted to give them a sun/moon/star motif.

As a whole:

They were born in 1997. Apollo and Artemis were born in June, while Astraeus was born that following September.

They created their masks out of Magic for aesthetic reasons. They're used primarily for communication and spying if needed.

The three of them operate a little business that can range from acquiring certain items to completing homework for a price. The higher the desired grade, the higher the fee.

All of them can use Vytarian Magic but aren't dual-enrolled at the academy.

His birth parents were Death Eaters that only had him out of necessity to continue the bloodline, and didn't care much for him or each other. Following their deaths at the Battle of Hogwarts, Astraeus was adopted by Ben and Ismelda, who also gave him his current name.

He's fully aware of his heritage, but considers the Coppers to be his true family.

He doesn't like his eyes because it reminds him of his birth parents, having seen photos of them before. The masks were created for this reason.

Artemis and Apollo wear their own masks as a show of support.

Likes to sketch and sculpt as a hobby.

Uses his Gravity Magic to prank classmates.

Oh sorry, I should’ve been clearer. Yeah it was an NPC in the game who said they saw a Gryffindor & Slytherin kiss. Like I said it might not be referring to Ben & Ismelda but with all the ship teasing that’s happened with them, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if it was

No worries. I think that definitely clears it up. While it isn't a direct confirmation, I think we can safely assume that's who the quote was referring to Ben and Ismelda, or if nothing else, the player is meant to see that quote and arrive at that conclusion. It's just so interesting to look at this aspect of the quest. Frankly, it's kind of the only thing about the Masquerade TLSQ that was particularly memorable.

Like, don't get me wrong, it's a nice quest! It's enjoyable, there's basically no problems with it, and it provides some nice character moments for Tonks and Andre. The only thing is that there's nothing original here. It's just another story about the gang planning a party and everything going wrong in such a way that MC has to pick up the pieces and fix it. Cap things off with a big party in the Great Hall, followed by MC and their date stealing away to have a private moment? Bonus points because they watch the stars. It's just...again, it's nice, but it's kind of just a bunch of pieces that come from a dozen other quests. Ben x Ismelda is the only thing that anyone is likely to remember this quest for.

So I’m currently working on Diego and Veruca's ship content for their canon and AU versions. And my mind started going to ship names for other pairs and I was wondering what or how they would be called.

Diego and Veruca are obviously DieRuca. At the time of making their ship official I went the basic route by combining their names instead of a unique name that represents both characters. But now that the name has stuck, I ain’t changing it.

Like Carson and Tulip's ship name Glitter Bomb, which takes the glitter portion of Carson’s prank and the bomb part for Tulip's dungbomb prank. Combining their names was not an option because every combination I tried all sucked.

Then I got their AU ships: JaeRuca (Jae x Veruca), Charson/Carster (Chester x Carson), Shooting Stars (Skye x Veruca), Carmelda (Carson x Ismelda), and Crowan (Carson x Rowan)

Like Glitter Bomb, I need to make something with all these ships (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥｀) but DieRuca has me in a chokehold

For canon x canon pairings like Diego and Ismelda, I thought Rose Thorn would suit them. You know, Diego being the rose and Ismelda being the thorn. Dielda and Ismego sounds kind of dumb so I don’t want to use them.

Jae x Chiara would be Jaeara I guess. I feel like they could get a unique ship name if I think hard enough of what represents these two.

The wizard in white is an undercover Japanese auror. kazuhiro shiratori is simply his alias. His true identity is Toshiro Ketsueki (???). Yes, he's Victor's older brother and is the same age as Ricardo.

One brother is named Toshiro and the other is named Victor...They're half brothers, much how Reina and Ricaro are half siblings. Yes we'll go with that.

We ship Ricardo x Toshiro in this au. They get married so Rel has two dads. Victor is her uncle and he adores that little munchkin.

Rowan and McNully are a happily married couple. They have the perfect dynamic in my opinion. Rowan replaces Binns by early 1992 after the dude accidentally moves on to the afterlife. Rowan is the one that fills in Harry and friends on the history ofthe Chamer of Secrets.

Thanks to a lil bit of spatial magic, Reina's bakery caters to both Magic and non-magic folk. Her bakery caters to the former in Diagon Alley, and to the latter right outside in London. Non-magic folks simply believe her bakery has a Witchy theme to it, and her unique recipes proved to be a hit.

In addition to dominican styled goods, reina also offers vegan and gluten free options for her clients thanks to some input from liz.

When it comes to their respective businesses, both Ricardo and Reina are very pro-union. They care deeply for the well-being of their employees, and make sure they're paid living wages.

Since we'll likely never get official names, the two oldest of Reina and Talbott's quadruplets, Corvo and Ava, would be named after Talbott's parents to honor them.

Ben and Ismelda eventually have twins. After Voldemort's defeat, they adopt Merula's daughter and raise her as their own. The girl knows who her mother was, but views Ben and Ismelda as her true parents. Haven't decided on her name yet.

In terms of Hogwarts Legacy, the main focus would be Reina's ancestor Angela Caelestis. She'd transfer to Hogwarts for her 5th year and would've been Sorted into Ravenclaw, and be a close ally to the Goblins fighting for their freedom. (My knowledge on the game itself isn't the best since I don't really play mainline HP games anyway-last one i played was quidditch wortld cup on the gamecube lmao)

Since Magic Awakened is set in 2008, it would mean that Reina and Tlabotts quads would have been approve to attend the school at age 10 rather than 11.

I used to have a Winx Club au that didn't really go anywhere since I gave up after I couldn't depict Reina in the show's style that well. For that setting, schools life Alfea, Cloud Tower and Red Fountain are co-ed. We're talking male fairies, witches/wizards and female warriors.

Reina, Rowan and a few others attend Cloud Tower. They'd be a year above the Winx but a year below the Trix. They'd absolutely ally with the Winx. Reina is known as the Rose Witch and Rowan is the Paper Witch. In a Time Skip, Reina would still marry Talbott, open her bakery, and they'd have their quadruplets. The Winx would be honorary aunties to the kids.

In a DC au, Reina would be around the same age as Bruce Wayne, and her kids would be slightly older than Nightwing/Dick Grayson. Ricardo himself would be closer to Alfreds age since his own granchild would be the same age as Jason Todd/Red Hood. Ricardo would also be a rainbow-themed magically powered hero under the name of Arcus.

DMC AU: Reina is the same age as Dante and Vergil, while her quiadds are the same age as Nero. Reina and her kids have a Devil Trigger because of their Demon Ancestry.

Resident Evil AU: Ricardo is the same age as Albert Wesker. Known as Subject 53, Ricardo was the product of what was known as Project Arcus. The intent was to create a bioweapon that could control the masses through hallucinations thanks to the A-Virus. At age 13, Ricardo broke free from captivity by slaughtering his tormentors and livng life on his terms, becoming a game developer. In the brief time he met Albert Wesker and William Birkin in the 80s, he viewed the two of them as good friends, being completely unaware of what the two were really up to. Ricardo's advnaced healing factor makes him functionally immortal, ensuring he'll only die of old age.

Reina was abducted as an infant in the 70s and experimented on for Project Flora, where she was subject 54. The goal was to create a bioweapon that could control all of the known Flora as a form of control on the populace. She was soon rescued by her father, having no memory of her time in captivity. While she can summon and control all existing plants, Reina instead settled into a simple life where she became a baker.

[Spoiler and Long Explanation Ahead]

a bit of spoiler cause i'm still in year 5 of the game and i have a lot i wanted to draw before this event

In Year 6, after the death of their best friend, Ben and Jeniferl decided that it is best to break up for the meantime.

Ben believed that despite being together, he had failed to protect her and the people she cares about. The death of Rowan shows that he is still incapable to protect the others, despite his attempts to change. He felt worthless and believed that only a strong, courageous person could be with Jeniferl that can keep her safe... unlike him. He will keep changing, even if it makes him the worst version of himself, until he has proved to himself that he is capable of becoming that person.

Jeniferl on the other hand, didn't want more people to die because of her. She once again blamed herself from all misfortune and believed that the more she is attached to someone, the closer death will come to them. After the death of her best friend, she fears Ben will be next therefore she wants to maintain her distance and, to the best of her ability, suppress her emotions in order to concentrate on breaking the family curse and the curse vault. If she kept bringing ill fortune, she believed she didn't deserve to be loved.

The breakup left a bitter taste in their relationship. They told one another that  they could do anything they wanted regardless of what the other think, but their relationship is over.

On the day of the Masquerade ball

It was surprising how Jeniferl was on the ball despite all the tragedy that happened to her; it was Barnaby’s idea for her to go. Jeniferl and Barnaby are like siblings to one another, for they share the same interest in magical creatures and dueling. Feeling bad about what happened to her, he invited Jeniferl to a dance at the ball in an attempt to cheer her up, which she appreciated and agreed with. But what’s more surprising is what they saw in the Ball, 

Ben and Ismelda were dancing together. 

Everyone was startled that the two were together, but Jeniferl repress her emotions and smiled at them as they danced elegantly in the night. As promised, Barnaby and Jeniferl performed their dance as friends, but someone is watching them closely. It was Ben. Even though he presents a cold and disinterested demeanor around her, he is nonetheless troubled. In actuality, he only attended the event because of her presence. He wasn't supposed to go because he didn't see the point in going and would rather train to get stronger instead. But Ismelda came and informed him how Barnaby would be going with Jeniferl. He requested Ismelda's company in order to verify whether it was real. Upon realizing it to be true, he was reminded of their breakup and understood that there was nothing he could do.

The night may be beautiful, but no surprise, two hearts are left in sorrow once again.

and second, YES, the two broke up after 3 years of flirting and a year of dating ,,how unlucky but thats just the life of Jeniferl. I already planned this ahead before the spoiler TLSQ happen but, I hate to admit it, this tlsq benefit the story and I'm sorryy I added more pain in my story(I'm gonna add more tho).

No hate to Ben and Ismelda shippers, I love Ismelda's character and i just thought her being with ben is an out of character but i become more curious . Also I chose Barnaby because he is the one i chose to be partnered with my mc in the game but in my story, Barnaby doesn't have romantic feelings towards Jeni

But the TLSQ haven't released yet so there might be changes added in the story but who knows, I hate it but I'm excited for this tlsq~ also i kinda didn't follow the color dress code sryy

The moment your eyes locked for the first time ever, he knew you were the center of his world. Whenever you were around, he felt as if he was floating up above, gravity long forgotten, nonexistent. Your smile was dazzling and your voice melodic. You were truly a delicacy, an uptown girl far from his league, but he could not help himself and adored you.

“She’s a pureblood” one of his friends said, chugging down hos butterbeer, as he glanced at you in disdain.

He did not retort anything. He was too lost into contemplating the flawless girl that you were.

You were animatedly chatting with your friends, the superior and arrogant wizards whose reputation preceded them. They were right about your blood-status, but they were wrong about your personality. You were nothing like them and you loathed attending the balls and dinners your parents dragged you to. You felt like a spider in a cage and he knew it.

“I will not surrender. – you commented one day, propping your chin on the back of your hand as you laid flat on your stomach in the fluffy, soft grass of Hagrid’s garden – I want to get married one day, of course I do… But I can’t bear the idea of spending my life with someone I don’t love. I want it to be different” you said, batting your eyes close and sighing contently, under the spring breeze.

Chester quirked a thick eyebrow up, his brown eyes staring up at the clear sky “What is it that you want?”.

“A man who loves me” you replied without hesitation.

“Pure-bloods can love too”.

You sighed, rolling down on your back to stare properly up at him “No, Chester, you’re wrong. – you mumbled – They love your last name, at best. They love your money and your position at the Ministry. But they never love you”.

He blushed, his eyes darting on the massive pumpkins in front of him. Was it the right time to say something more? Maybe dropping some other hints would have not been detrimental to your relationship. However, you took him off guard.

“They’re not like you” you stated, propping yourself up on your elbows.

“W-What?” he stammered, swallowing the sudden lump in his throat. You were going to kill him sooner or later.

You sat up, your cheeks now tinted in a bright pink shade and he could not tell if it was caused by the sun, or your proximity. Then again, when you curled yourself up in a ball and propped your chin on your knees, the gleam in your eyes was unmistakably, unequivocally the same he had when he looked at you.

“I like you… And not in a way a friend should love her friend. It’s something more. The way you make me laugh with that goofy smile of yours, whenever you talk about something you like, or the way I feel my heart drop into my stomach, if a girl is too close to you, have made realise that maybe I cannot find my perfect match out there because he is right under my nose…” you whispered, your cheeks burning even more.

Could you get a fever out of embarrassment for confessing to your crush? Yeah, you would not have been surprised, if you did.

Chester stared out at you in disbelief, his hand grasping your immediately as he shifted ti get even closer to you. You bit down on your lower lip, heart thrumming against your ribcage as you waited for him to reply something with the same anxiety of a guilty man waiting for his verdict.

“You could have literally fallen for one of the rich brats in your gang… They have everything, I have nothing to offer you beside my heart, Y/N. Are you sure about it?” he mumbled, locking his calloused fingers with yours. Your hand was so tiny compared to his one.

You felt tears well up in your eyes as you slowly nodded your head at him “Your love is everything I need. I don’t care about anything else. – you whispered softly, a small smile curling your lips – If I get to have you from now to the rest of our lives, I’ll feel like the luckiest person alive” you said, pressing your forehead against his one.

Chester chuckled, his free hand cupping your cheek affectionately. You, the smart, pureblood witch every student envied and craved for themselves, had finally picked your life companion. You had shared your golden heart, but with a half-blood, common Ravenaw student.

You had chosen him.

“You really are an unconventional, strong-willed crazy witch… – he said, a smug smile tugging the angles of his lips upwards – You beated me on it, I can’t believe it. But, yeah, for your information, I love you”.

You giggled, a sigh of relief leaving your mouth, as you smashed your lips against his chapped ones and pulled him down onto the grass with you.

Who would have thought that, five years after your graduation, he asked for your hand. Your father was mad at you for months. He never accepted your relationship, but the incoming war and the rumors running among the elite families about HIS return got him thinking. He knew that he would have been called too and he could not risk your life.

He gave his consent with the promise that you were both going to stay away from the battlefield and, if things got complicated, to never return again.

You did and now Chester kisses the small bump in your stomach, with the joy of a child blessing your lives, he knows that being a joker around a queen was the best decision he could have ever made.
