It's me in my "beltestakk bunad" qwq
I love it. I actually got to choose every detail on it myself >//<
It's hot and heavy as hell tho. And the belt thingy has to be so tight that it's hard to breathe lmfaoo

Bunad (Norwegian: [²bʉːnɑd], plural: bunader/bunadar) is a Norwegian umbrella term encompassing, in its broadest sense, a range of both traditional rural clothes (mostly dating to the 19th and 18th centuries) as well as modern 20th-century folk costumes. In its narrow sense the word bunad refers only to clothes designed in the early 20th century that are loosely based on traditional costumes. The word bunad in itself is a 20th-century invention.

A Patreon patron reward! They asked I draw their daughter in a traditional Norwegian costume called a beltestakk bunad. It’s a very beautiful costume and I had fun drawing a little girl dancing with her favorite panda bear.
Patrons who pledge $10 a month get a character commission just like this, so if you’re interested in getting one of your own, please check it out!
