So, I made myself some thematic Bridgerton Jewelry for funsies in April, and at the behest of some Internet friends, made some more in May

Soon enough, Season 3 Part 1 dropped, and I have since been in that BRIDGERTON BRAINROT™️ that I know we all suffer from

Unfortunately for me, my ADHD/OCPD ass always needs both my brain andddd my hands occupied, so rewatching S3 P1 a billion times somehow led me to create 120 extra Bridgerton themed earrings and 60 extra necklaces 🫢🫠

My husband is a very kind man that has watched S3 P1 with me 3 times already (and slept through more hahahah), anddddd he has let me litter our dining table and our ottoman in front of the tv with my jewelry stuff for weeks now

I promised him I’ll try to just sell some of this jewelry online so that this new brain rot / stimming hobby doesn’t bankrupt us, but I’ve been procrastinating on this soooo fucking hard because I’m scared of Etsy and also quite possibly the post office??? 🥲🙃 I know that’s incredibly stupid, but somehow my neurodivergent brain doesn’t know it’s stupid and she’s also just like aaahhh what if I put this stuff online and people actually buy it??? As if that isn’t the solution I’m looking for

Anyway, I’m just blabbing about my personal incompetence here cause I’d like some moral support or advise or someeeething if anyone cares to offer any 😭😭😫😫😫

My husband told me I’m just overwhelmed cause I have 180 items to post, and that I’ll get there eventually if I try to post at least 10 per day. My OCPD brain thinks that’s nuts (cause of the different theme breakdowns and mix and match sets I’ve made lol). Even so, I set out to post 10 today, and I’ve legit just been doing dumb shit like editing out my living room background from the photos I took, and adding Bridgerton inspo pics to the background and all that jazz, as if I’m some professional at this instead of someone who went batshit crazy stimming between S3 P1 and P2

^That’s an example of my OCPD brain doing too much and why I’m sitting on a massive pile of pretty handmade things instead of posting them for sale 🙃

Please… someone that knows how to deal with this aggravating combo of ADHD and OCPD better than me…. SEND HELP!!???!!

oh sorry to hear that! normally i do want to fulfill these kind of requests but personally i think adult sims look too young without it, cause they're supposed to in their 40s to 60s and most adults do have some wrinkles there. i could make a simple overlay skin detail to cover them up if you want, but it'd be too much work to make an additional default version for my skins without the wrinkles. and thank you for the kind words <3 !!

hi! i'm sorry, i made the original version like 1.5 years ago and the newer version of them that i uploaded i don't have the psd file for anymore. i'm making a new version of the asteria eyes as i mentioned in my last post with which i'll include the .psd though, and i'll add the old catchlights to it as an alternative.

maybe in the future i will, but i have to reupload all the thumbnails per swatch and gender for each file by hand so it's just such an annoying process to add more categories for them (and i really dont feel like doing it currently sorry 😫). if you want to you can also do it yourself easily if you don't mind them not having thumbnails with this tutorial.

Okay so its easter. I spent it with my mum and dad. They're both great, I love my parents. However, my dad's friend has the pettiest beef with my mum lately bcus she apparently didn't stand up for him, which isn't true. So he's been sending hate letters about her (my parents are in their 60s), to not only her but also my dad and their mutual friends. Like ngl dude spits serious poetry but not the good kind. Absolutely jaw dropping insults but like, also none of it was even accurate. My mum is like me she doesn't really care what people think, so she's not pressed about it but yknow. Still irritating.

So we were like having a good laugh at his hate mails and all that. Which was fine. But then while eating dinner my Dad starting choking on his food. Like really choking. So I had to literally save his life. I was about to phone for paramedics, but he was still able to breathe so I was just trying to help him cough it up. Luckily he managed to clear it but it took a minute or two. It was pretty scary. I'm very calm in an emergency but now I've had time to process its like 😬 Anyway he is okay. Just the expected soreness. I hope that doesn't happen again. I mean my Dad is like, 66, so I worry about him constantly.

So a pretty intense day. Now I'm very tired emotionally so I would like to be coddled by my f/os pleaaaase 😭😭😭

Right Man, Right Time by Meghan Quinn My rating: 4 of 5 stars Listen…I am a SUCKER for a man finding comfort and peace in the woman he loves. I love it so much. And that's what drew me in with Silas and Ollie. Silas is recovering from a betrayal and initially started "dating" Ollie because she needed cover from her gross ex-boyfriend…and the friendship that developed from this arrangement was adorable. However, I really hated the 3rd act breakup, mostly because it felt like it took ages to resolve, when all that really needed to happen was a dang conversation. I HATE when people who love each other don't talk to each other. 😫 That being said, I already know I'm going to be rereading this one…and soon. This was very close to a five star for me.
