Hello friends! Happy Wednesday! How is everyone doing reading anything fun? My reading has really slowed down this month unfortunately 😣 we have an out of town friend staying with us and reading keeps getting pushed behind but I've been really enjoying my reread of Wolfsong that I'm doing with #fncbookclub for this month! I'm loving it even more than I did the first time and I think that when I'm done I'm going to try and just finally finish up the series. ℝ𝕖𝕗𝕝𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 . 💙 . Good Morning Lovelies! . 💙 . Our last BellusOddities Photo challenge for the year was based off Ashley's stunning reflection photo! . ❤️ . Now, I'm not by FAR the photoshop wizard that Ashley is! Actually I've asked for more help than I'd be willing to share. 😂🙈 However, this one was done alone. Lots of screaming, fighting, and throwing. BUT, it's a pure photoshop edit, and I'm pretty proud of it! . ❤️ . Reflecting back on this year. It's been difficult. This was always going to be a year of grief for my Father in Law. (Dec 16 2019, Pancreatic Cancer.) However, we as a family did NOT expect what 2020 threw at everyone. . ❤️ . Looking back, the pandemic has scared us, but made us stronger. It has changed our lives, but made us more aware. The loss of proper social media promotion has harmed the business, and brought us to some amazing people. It has caused us to start a book club, and these photo challenges. We've gotten the laser, which is both frightening, and making us learn new software. Renovating the house has both been stressful, but enlightening. Dealing with the shipping issues has upset us, and made us strive to be on a better schedule. . ❤️ . I hate to sound cliché, however every raging thunderstorm that this year has thrown at us? Has been overcame, and made us better for it. . ❤️ . Have I met my reading goal for the year? No. Have I designed everything I wanted to? No. Am I a perfect small business owner, social media manager, creator, Mother, Wife, Friend? Also no. But, I am myself, I have stayed true to myself, and most of all? I am still here. We have fortunately NOT gotten Covid-19 within our immediate family. I consider this a blessing. . ❤️ . It took FOREVER for me to finally read this beauty but my god when I did I fell head over heels with Lou 😍 Witches, magic, mystery and a LOTTTT of sass and snarkiness? YOU'RE RIGHT! THAT'S TOTALLY UP MY ALLEY 😆❤ Lou is a witch and a sarcastic QUEEN 😂 Reid is an enforcement officer for the Christian ruling authority... Whom obviously despise witches... In a strange twist of events the two ends up married to avoid controversy at the hands of a run in that Lou schemed to make him look bad and get herself to safety... Even if it slightly back fired 😂 The ensuing story follows both characters on their adventures together and separately and with plenty of action and hilarity (I LOVE THE HUMOR IN THIS!) I found myself captivated 😍 It take a little while to build into a story I was actually heavily invested in and I was kind of just casually enjoying it but the minute both Lou and Reid's worlds and clashing upbringings and socio-political thoughts came into play I was enamored 😍 Because I took so long to read it means I only had to wait a few kinda for the sequel! WOOHOOO 😂😂😂 With a certain plot twist at the end I'm SOOO excited for Blood and Honey and as soon as @bellusoddities announced she was doing a drinkware package and mini box for this... Well lets say she's actually the reason I read this book cause I loved the design of her cup (SWIPE TO SEE) so I read the book... Enjoy my Gollum-esque entry into the @bellusoddities photo challenge 😂 The aim was to recreate the brilliant photo our resident expressive photo QUEEEEEEN @showmeyourpages created (swipe to see her original inspo) Now... I'm clumsy as all hell and have a child to take care of so I'm not risking shit by hanging off a deck 😂 I will however scare the crap out of inner city cafe patrons by crouching under their tables and ghost moving chairs to get this photo though 🙈 it's all about boundaries right? 😂 So in the end, I got my photo thanks to my amazing coworker and friend @Leesamiz and hopefully I'll be let back into my fave cafe despite my shenanigans 🙈😂😂(PS.
