“Yes.” Without missing a beat. “My turn.” She tugs at the velvet silk that retrains her left hand to the cabinet behind her. “What’s your name?” — Peering up in rapt attention from her position on the floor, like she always does when attempting to get the vampire to open up to her.

“My patience is wearing thin of this little—game,” She spat. “—of 21 questions” She pinches her brow in frustration, and ever mounting annoyance with the insufferable human. “Furthermore, that matters not.”

“Has anyone ever told you that you’re the worst kidnapper, in like, the history of kidnappers?”

“I fail to see why one would disclose that particular piece of information.” Rosalie deflects. Rolling her eyes as she glides gracefully to grab a glass and a clean plate from the cupboard.

“Which part? The kidnapper’s name, or you being a terrible kidnapper?” Bella retorts.

“Neither” Rosalie replies, unenthused. “Now—“ She says pointedly, eyes cutting to the girl on the floor. “Are you hungry?” — Bella is danger-sexual. And Rosalie is, well, Rosalie.
