For those wondering what on earth happened to me, FYI I'm currently down and out with a virus! I hate being Sicky Head! It made me have to postpone my day paddletrip and swim training. But have no fear, I've taken Vita D and C, had some soup and saged the whole house to ward off further badness and bacteria. I've just made some turmeric tea in my Wonder Woman mug to help ease my sore throat. Hopefully, I'll feel up to being my mermaid version of Wonder Woman soon! Pixie update | She had a follow up today at the vet. She’s doing ok but still is not making the needed improvements they would like to see. . . They changed her antibiotic to one that’s easier to administer (my how she hates medicine) and gave her an appetite stimulant, since she hadn’t been eating enough. That made a HUGE difference today. 😺 And she also has another gel to help bring her potassium up. . . She seems to be doing better since this morning, especially with eating. And she also made a huge jump from one piece of furniture to another that she hadn’t been able to do since she got sick. 👍🏻 . , She’s also been up and around quite a bit today, and of course she napped in the sunbeam. . . Hoping the new antibiotic will help knock out the E.coli infection soon so she feels better. She’ll be on it for a couple of months. Hopefully she’ll get used to taking it, although I wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t.
