I keep thinking that this Gojo is just like Sukuna. I truly don't see much of a difference between them beyond the human/curse point of view

#If not Sukuna then some other more palatable special degree curses like the one he just killed that talked about the new humanity #It truly looks like that I don't know #Trying to be unbiased about the pretty concepts I take personally #and trying to ignore the silly fact that Sukuna's domain is literally called temple of evil or something (makes one want to ask #so many things like why the hell does he call it such? isn't evil good for you? Isn't a species kind of thing?#Why are you adhering to human notions and conceptualisations if you seem so beyond them and think nothing of them?)#Gojo is quite terrifying from a curse point of view. He is cruel and merciless. He can't be reasoned with and he is playful. He has his fun #His powers are not much different in structure from those of a curse and he said that the power capacity of a sorcerer comes from birth #So it's ontological. It's not just skill. It's an essential differentiation. Just like curses #It's just... I don't know. It's almost as if he were a curse himself. He talks about emotions being the source of curses?#Maybe that's the difference? Was Sukuna born that way too?#I don't know. I keep thinking that he is quite idk monstrous in a very Sukuna way. He isn't terrible like Sukuna is like with the kids #But he is human after all. He does adhere to human categories. Sukuna is something else #And yet Gojo uses the kids. He draws lines and he is caring and gentle and sweet in his way #but he very much uses the kids and is a bit flippant about it. And he is human #I don't know. It seems completely intentional this similarity between Gojo and the curses and Gojo and Sukuna in particular #Sukuna seems interested in Megumi while Gojo seems interested in Itadori and idk I just keep thinking #but I'm not even know about what or how #I find this man very hard to trust haha the parallels are intriguing #I think this piece of worldbuilding has potential as well as their characterisations #I hope the author will do something with all this #I talk too much #Jujutsu Kaisen #Gojo Satoru #Sukuna

Basically the reason he can’t see is ‘cause both of his eyes are swollen shut lol (I once had a bad black eye that I couldn’t open for like two days, Cody just has that but with both eyes rip)

How that happened I will leave to your imaginations, but I can confirm it was Eliana who did it

(A lot of yapping in the tags be warned lol)

#Eliana also never gave him ice for the swelling which is why it lasts so long #She isn’t that bad for the majority of the story #It’s written in a way that slowly introduces you to her abusive side #Like okay #the first time she hurts him (on screen) in the story #She just sorta hits him cause he’s annoying her #And it’s presented in a way that doesn’t seem bad #Like she’s not necessarily angry or anything and he isn’t upset by it #It just comes across as natural / playful #Not harmful #But it builds to a point where it isn’t justifiable anymore #Like it starts as “yeah okay she did hit him once but they were obviously just messing around that isn’t abuse”#To “okay she did yell and throw stuff at him while she was angry but she apologized a bunch after and she clearly didn’t mean it”#To “oh okay she’s really hurting him now and also making threats so he won’t try and get help yeah this is bad”#She doesn’t start out being abusive #That only happens once Cody can’t really get away from her #And Eliana also pulls a lot of the tricks you see a lot in female domestic abusers #Like the “If you call the police I’ll hurt myself and then I’ll tell them it was self-defence when they come”#because the majority of domestic abuse cases have violent men and female victims #And because Cody is both bigger and stronger than Eliana #Law enforcement would most likely believe that she hurt him in self-defence #He’s scared to fight back for this reason too (if he hurts her it’ll look bad for him and make him seem abusive)#(He also just doesn’t really want to hurt her because he’s actually a nice person but whatever lol)#he doesn’t think anybody would believe that he’s the victim #And it’s also like #Almost embarrassing for him to admit that he let his girlfriend beat him up #Anyways I’m yapping too much but that’s a little bit of insight into why it’s so hard for Cody to get out #It’s not just because Eliana says she’ll kill him if he breaks up with her #(Although that doesn’t help)#Mushroom oc post

I freaking love this scene so much, you dont even know. Its so heartmeltingly cute: they’re discovering his powers together! They’re in on the secret together!!! Mason being presumably the first person to actually, seriously just reach out to Corey, just some feeling of warmth. Its what Corey probably needed so much after losing Lucas in such a way, not to mention his parents. No wonder he fell so hard

Its also so much fun to compare this scene to the Liam-Mason Gym Scene in Season 4 Episode 5, just the contrasts.. *chef’s kiss*

the vast majority of jokes that y'all insist are jokes are evidently jokes. but they're the same joke, scraped from surface impressions and regurgitated iteratively. there's humor beneath the outermost layer, too, and you're allowed to be clever, it's not illegal.

#i was unfortunately raised by very funny and clever people #and im a little too into comedy as a genre which isnt like a merit to my personality #but it's so hard to be playful with a dead horse that's impacted in the ground from the force with which it has been beaten #and i do get to be absurd and playful privately but it's so. obnoxious. how ironically patronizing it starts to get in public online spaces #to be told emphatically it's a joke!#since often either (1) i was also joking and you didnt get it but i dont think im entitled to your humor if it's not landing #or (2) i know but its the only thing anyone's saying and it wasnt funny the first 100 times either #but it would be impolite to say i know it's a joke but there are more interesting things to say or add or dig into here #so i dont! and i get that if someone isnt picking up what i have to put down it's my responsibility to move on #and then sometimes yall get real rude #anyway the secret (3)rd thing is where i did not get the joke lmao or i wasnt sure so i tried to for sincerity to be safe #which does happen #but in those situations too. im always impressed by how its turned around on the person who didnt get the joke.#and never a reflection of the quality of the joke #idk it's occurring to me that sometimes people may say joke when they mean that theyre being flippant and dont want to engage #in which case. why not say that.#anyway tl;dr being funny is a skill and im probably a little autistic

#achilles isn't enough i need to know how each servant is around their horse(s)#i think that duryodhana has two main steeds and would have a hard time controlling them for when he's being petulant #highest ranking older mare (12-16) + her offspring (4-8) the older one would have a stubborn and calm temperament who doesn't respect duryo #and her daughter would have the same kind of chill but would be more playful and curious. dur is talking with his brothers & she trots over #starts nuzzling and sniffing his clothes because she's bored. duryo keeps talking but starts petting her #i also think duryodhana has instinctively good balance and he's good at multitasking so showmanship-like riding comes to him easily #but he's shit at all horse maintenance. especially hoof care; he's convinced his girls are going to kick him and doesn't want to even try i #but he wants good care for his horses so he watches over the servants tending to them. bossy yet incompetent duryodhana 🥰#we know georgios is a good owner but i think he likes rein maintenance & spends a fair amount of time making sure bayards armor is spotless #lalter gives out snacks more easily than her counterpart (going after the wild hunt takes energy! llamrei is a good girl!)#percival is great with horses in general and he enjoys taking care of them and will help out any other knights if they're having trouble #ashvatthaman is (un)surprisingly really good with young stallions. he's not afraid of them at all and will scold them for their mean deeds #horse tries to eat his clothes or nibble his hair and he's like. oi stop that you bastard. and the horse listens (will eat his hair later)#prince of lanling is very thorough with horses getting enough feed and water and will make sure they're well rested #arjuna is like. the main character of a horse movie. he's emotionally sensitive with them & bonds with horses easily (who sense his worries #works really really hard to be good at riding and wants to leave no room for mistakes. really aware of his posture at all times #we had dogy event please give me hors event... horses cute and underrated<-most biased man talking

Also shout out to the alter that fronted at work the other day, went into blatant denial about his existence, panicked, gave us a nasty scratch on our arm by being super clumsy, and left front immediately after the fact
