synopsis: in which, traveller and paimon find out you are an ✨️ITEM✨️!!!

Notes: for my man's scara, we are gonna refer to him as Kuni(kuzushi) or Wanderer, for my man's kazuha you are beidou's younger sister and the traveller and paimon know you, and in cyno's part, you are collei's main supervisor.

Scaramouche

"The Wanderer....coming to Paimon and Traveller for help....this sure is a rare occurrence, Paimon must say!"

Paimon and The Traveller were sat opposite to The Wanderer who was looking down with a faint dust of pink on his cheeks.

He was in need of advice on what to get his girlfriend for their anniversary, and in desperation and no one else to ask, he found himself asking the Traveller and Paimon for advice.

"Shut it. I need some advice and then I am off. That's it." The Wanderer kept his head lowered as The Traveller smirked at his attempt to be tough but still seemingly desperate.

"Well, what do you need help with, Wanderer?" Paimon made sure to emphasis the word help failing to hide her cheeky smirk.

The Wanderer glared daggers at her before speaking.

"You are going to help me find a present." he wasn't really giving them a choice.

"A present?! For who?? Paimon knows you have no friends!" Paimon shouted with no filter for the whole world to hear before the Traveller covered her mouth.

"Shut up and bite your tongue, Paimon!!" The Traveller whispered in Paimon's ears ignoring her muffled shouts, "Yes we will help!" The Traveller said to The Wanderer as he let out a grunt of satisfaction.

They went to many different stalls making very, VERY, V E R Y small talk, as most of time The Wanderer would see a stall and would pick up an item, show it to the Traveller and Paimon and put it down.

"We've been walking for ages!!! Who is this even for?" Paimon moaned even though she could float.

"None of your business." the Wanderer spat as he picked up his pace making Paimon roll her eyes.

"Why is he being so secretive, is it for his girlfriend or something?" Paimon said joking like in the Traveller's ear as they giggled behind him finding the concept of him having a partner so unrealistic.

After a while, The Wanderer picked a few things that he liked and put them in a basket. He said farewell to The Traveller and Paimon before going to find the person the present was for.

"Paimon thinks....we should follow him to find who he is giving presents to!" Of course the Traveller didn't object.

So that is how they found themselves stalking the poor Wanderer. They followed him until he reached a girl on a bench reading book.

She looked up, saw him and a warm smile graced her face as the Wanderer smiled back patting her head.

He handed the girl something before she opened it and looked happier than she had just seemed as she jumped in his arms hugging him, as The Wanderer chuckled, hugging her back.

"I love you, Kuni!!"

"I love you too, idiot..."

Your voices could be heard by the Traveller pretty clearly, but not by Paimon

"Ugh Paimon can't hear....OH MY GOODNESS...DON'T TELL ME THEY ARE DATING!! MOVE, TRAVELLER I CAN'T HEAR ENOUGH!" Paimon pushed The Traveller's shoulder a bit too much...

Making them topple out of the comfy bush they were hiding in, interrupting the intimate moment.

The Wanderer was silently fuming as you jumped behind him confused as to who the random two figures were until you notice it was the infamous Traveller and her floating pet.

Just as the Wanderer was about to go insane you held his hand.

"It's okay Kuni," you smile warmly making his temper disappear slowly, "Hello! You must be The Traveller and Paimon! Nice to meet you!....although may I ask why you followed my boyfriend here?"

Even though it was too late, the Wanderer covered your mouth, holding you body against his.

"Y/N....shhhh!" his face was bright red as he looked down.

And of course Paimon had to say something...

"WHAT!!!??? THERE'S NO WAY YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND IT JUST ISN'T LIKE YOU!!"

You laughed as you pulled The Wanderer's hand away from your mouth holding it.

"Haha, well miracles happen I suppose....but you haven't told me how you know him and why you are here..."

Paimon gives a long run down of everything leaving a warm smile on your face.

"You asked for help just for me Kuni? You truly are a softie..." you give him a small peck on the cheek making his ears turn bright red.

"Well, you mean a lot to me idiot...." The Wanderer mumbled.

"Paimon still can't believe your getting some action...."

Kazuha Kaedehara

It was your sister Beidou's birthday and you invited the Traveller and Paimon for a suprise party on the Crux.

"I'm so glad you could make it! I cannot wait to throw this party for her she's gonna love it!" you exclaimed walking through the streets of Liyue.

"Paimon is so glad she gets to come and celebrate!! And eat lots too..." The Traveller rolled her eyes at Paimon being food obsessed.

"I need to find Kazuha...he promised he would make it." no one knew about your relationship with Kazuha, not even your sister. Which is why you intended to tell her tonight at the party.

Kazuha had gone to Inazuma for 2 days and was meant to come back at Liyue Harbor by now.

"Don't be worried Y/N, Kazuha wouldn't break a promise! Paimon knows that much!" you smile warmly with love thinking out about true that was, hoping Paimon and the Traveller don't notice.

"Hello everyone." Kazuha's soft spoken voice could be heard as you ran up to him and wrapped your arms around him tightly as he hugged you back.

"I missed you Kazu..." you whispered in his ear so that Paimon and The Traveller wouldn't hear.

"I missed you more Y/N"

"Um they look quite in love don't they Traveller~" Paimon wiggled her eyebrows as the Traveller laughed slightly. Unbeknownst to both you and Kazuha.

Time Skip!!

It is the night of the party and all presents have been given and everyone is drinking to their hearts content.

"Kazu, make sure you stay sober so we can tell Beidou our big secret. I know you can't handle alcohol well babe...." you whispered to Kazuha as the festivities began.

Little did you know, Beidou thought it would be funny to switch the grape juice he was drinking to wine.

"Thank you for coming again. Are you enjoying yourselves?" you sat by the Traveller and Paimon who were only one seat away from Kazuha.

"We sure are! The food is amazing~ won't you eat and drink?" Paimon asked as you seemed fully sober and they hadn't seen you get anything to munch on.

"Well I just want to make sure everything is okay before I eat and-" Before you could finish your sentence someone's arms slithered around your waist from behind, you turn back to see Kazuha with flushed face and eyes lidded.

"Kazu, are you drunk? And as much as I wanna cuddle, everyone is gonna see-" you whispered to him, trying to softly pull his arms away.

"HEY! KAZUHA AND Y/N!! WHY ARE YOU BOTH SO CLOSE?!" you hear Beidou's drunk voice as everyone went silent and stared at you with a drunk Kazhua wrapped around you.

"We have been together for 2 years though...." you slapped your hand over Kazuha's mouth, after he just spilled your secret, smiling nervously as everyone started mumbling.

"Paimon shipped you guys and all...but TWO YEARS?!!!" Paimon shouted.

"Beidou you see the thing is-" you sheepishly tried to explain before Beidou hushed you.

"I'm joking around....I knew you guys were together it's pretty obvious. You should let that boy live a little though...luckily, I gave him some wine to really enjoy the party" you stared in shock as Kazuha had now fallen asleep on your lap and Beidou laughed loudly as everyone began chattering.

"Traveller, Paimon....do you agree?"

"Yes you guys act like newlyweds...but we are so happy for you!!"

The Traveller and Paimon happened to be in Sumeru and they met up with Cyno just to see how he was doing.

"How's it going, Cyno? Anything new?" Paimon asked gleefully.

Cyno ate his food silently before replying.

"I want you to meet someone." he began eating again not expanding further making the Traveller and Paimon a bit perplexed.

"Um...do you wanna expand on that, orrrr...?" Cyno didn't say anything, all he did was stand up and start walking off assuming they would follow.

"Hey, hold up!!" Paimon and the Traveller chased after him walking his pace one they caught up with him.

They walked a long way to Gandharva Ville only to see Tighnari.

"UGHH CYNO WE ALREADY KNOW TIGHNARI!!" Paimon shouted in frustration from walking for such a long time as the Traveller shut her up.

"Tighnari, where is Y/N?" Cyno asked ignoring Paimon.

"Ummm I think she went to the Desert with Collei? Why?" Tighnari asked confused as to why Cyno was asking where his own wife was.

"Many thanks." Cyno walked off without answering Tighnari's question as Paimon and The Traveller followed.

They has arrived in the desert and 2 figures could be seen digging up in the sand.

"Paimon has had enough floating for one day, Paimon refuses to go anywhere!!" Paimon folded her arms standing her ground(or air??) before seeing Cyno and The Traveller walking off towards the people infront of them.

"Wait for Paimon!!!"

"Y/N, Collei." Cyno spoke out causing you to turn your head and smile warmly, waving. You stood up from your crouched position.

"Mr Cyno! And The Traveller and Paimon!!" Collei shot up as you told her to calm down so she didn't hurt herself.

"Hi Cyno, what brings you here? Or are you here for a usual stroll? And who are these individuals?" You walk up and give him a tight hug that he reciprocates.

"This is The Traveller and Paimon. This is Y/N guys." Cyno effortlessly introduced you.

"Why, I have heard loads about you from everyone! My dear Collei was just talking about you!!" you smile warmly whilst patting Collei's head.

"It's nice to meet you Y/N!! And nice to see you Collei!! Cyno why did you want to introduce us?" Paimon asked trying to sound polite.

You laughed as you answered the question for him, "You see, I am Cyno's wife."

That language SAGAU but the Reader can only communicate writing on paper.

Either the Reader is mute and they (characters) don't know/understand sign language or they somehow lost their voices on their transmigration to Teyvat and can only write now. But the characters are left trying to decipher what the Reader wrote.

like a little compact pocketbook so u can easily fit it in pockets!

like just so it’s easier to communicate with you, a lot of people are willing to adapt/take on abbreviations like “ttyl, gtg, wth, lol, lmao” even stuff like “etc”

lol u start a whole trend in the writing letters business, hehe silly medieval Teyvat is silly and medieval

yknow I think the quieter vision users would definitely find you to be peaceful to be around and easy to understand just with writing (also deffo most likely to adore the soft moments together of just ur pen scribbling and the sounds of nature or a cafe or something around them),

A/N : Happy birthday my friend ! Congratulations on being today years old, as my (late late late late LATE! really sorry about that) gift for you I'll be writing this headcanon with every character from Mondstadt to Sumeru celebrating your birthday ! And fun fact, you were born on the same day as my old cat ! (his name was 'little steps' and he passed away four years ago because he was old but now I have two new troublemakers to destroy my sleep)

Warning(s) : some bombs from klee, a lot of cake but idk if that's even some kind of warning, mostly fluff, it's kind of Sagau if you squint a little.

MONDSTADT

The moment Jean was informed she got a multitude of knights just getting the entire city ready for a huge celebration, at this point, it's a national holiday. She patrols around to check if everything is in it's rightful place, if anyone dares to sabotage or disrupt such an occasion they will get beheaded. Amber and Eula follow after their senior, wishing you the best when they see you, since the beautiful Lawrence maiden understands how important this day is for you she'll perform a wonderful dance for you.

The church also prepared a wonderful original song for you, and it was all thanks to Barbara and Venti (who was also the one that announced your date of birth) even if it doesn't match their usual tunes they will gladly change their genre just for you to enjoy their singing. It's kind of hard to imagine priests singing black metal but they'll do their best in doing it for you.

Diluc pretended not to care but the Dawn Winery had also been cleaned and decorated to the brim. Everything on the menu is just foods you enjoy, all that you dislike is BANNED from this place, they take your approval seriously and I mean it. When you come in, he has everything ready and perhaps even a huge gift. Though much to his dismay, Kaeya will tease him for it (not like he didn't plan grandiose things just to see your smile). Speaking of teasing, he starts to poke a multitude of pickup lines at you.

There is music, there is presents and decoration..what else are we missing? Oh wait who's the clown for this party-

I'm kidding I'm kidding Lisa is the magician, I know that her stans are out there to get me rn. Besides, the lady has a friendly, albeit a little explosive, assistant named Klee...And Albedo because we need a sane being around these two chaos inducing people. And don't think I forgot about the gifts- those are everywhere, they offer you presents all the time but they've out done themselves just for your special day.

All thanks to Sucrose who was more than overjoyed to be the one to get the honor of creating your main bestowal. Let's not forget Benny's Adventure team who crashed in halfway to celebrate alongside you. Bennett, Razor and Fischl ran like tornadoes to offer their own blessings, Rosaria pretended that she wasn't looking forward to give her own birthday wishes. But we can all see how happy your smile makes her the moment you thank her for coming.

Oh you are so spoiled for this one. Ningguang quite literally built a new jade chamber just for your birthday celebration and Ganyu worked faster than the speed of light just to get to spend some quality time with you, Keqing is no different with so much dedication nothing is stopping her now (her pen broke as she practically printed down files of tasks). No one has seen them more desperate than scaramouche wanting to become a god BUT that's just because she wants to spend as much time with you during these special hours, it's not everyday that your favorite person turns [age] years old !

Beidou doesn't seem like the type to throw a fuss during these occasions. And she isn't, you're absolutely correct, however she will bring you to any place around the ocean to go sight seeing and have her crew throw a party all evening. In addition to this wonderful proposal we got Hu Tao willing to unbury sixty dead people COUGH COUGH I MEANT INVITE I SWEAR GUYS DON'T ARREST ME-

Zhongli was also at the funeral parlor when his boss made preparations for your visit. He wanted to offer you a gift but with what money? so Childe had to take care of the presents instead. She glanced down at the blade pointing to her chest, her eyes trailing the length of it back to the other woman’s face. ‘Really? Why not? A sword like this being used for your own defence, you’d think me the most dangerous woman in Teyvat’.

Ningguang eyed Beidou’s dagger holster once again; she wasn’t sure she could hold a fight against a woman who’d surely dealt in combat affairs more frequently than her. And as much as she hated it, Beidou was starting to feel sorry for her. She was familiar with the stress it took to run an entire pirate crew. She couldn’t fathom the responsibility of handling business endeavours for an entire nation. Her guilt started to get the best of her. ‘I think you’ve won this round, Lady Ningguang, I'll tuck my tail between my legs and leave’. She started adjusting the gloves on her hands. ‘No need to do it for me, your Highn-’.

She was cut off by the quick and sudden movement of Ningguang walking closer to her, stopping as soon as she could practically feel the heat radiating from Beidou’s body. A few seconds of silence followed, Beidou staring intently at Ningguang’s face, wondering what she was up to. Ningguang hesitated, she herself also wondering the same thing.

‘Lady Ninggu-?’ Beidou asked in confusion, as a decorated silver hand slowly traced its way up her arm and face, stopping at her cheekbone.

Ningguang’s eyes met with Beidou’s. ‘I've heard many tales about the criminals you call your crew, yet they all failed to mention the beauty of their captain.’ Her finger guards traced the outer of Beidou’s eye before they glided down her jawline. ‘How could a gem such as yourself be so cruel to the unsuspecting?’.

Beidou found it hard to figure out what to say next, but she can't deny she was enjoying it. Being intimate with people was nothing out of the ordinary to Beidou, but high royalty? This was a new one.

She gave a low hum of a laugh. ‘Except for the simple fact that you were suspecting it’.

Ningguang’s grip tightened, lifting Beidou’s chin up as if she were a trophy to be examined. ‘Precisely’.

Beidou looked down at her face, admiring the warm orange light bouncing off her features, contrasting to the dark blue of the night sky. She found it increasingly hard to keep up a dislike for Ningguang in the position she had her in. She snaked her hand up Ningguang’s arm, gently pulling her hand away from her face. It was her turn to take control. ‘You know, Lady Ningguang, I came here with the intention of stealing inanimate objects, but it seems the most valuable one can talk back to me, why is that?’. Beidou’s hands and eyes found their way to the side of Ningguang’s hip, fidgeting with her glowing geo pendant.

A hint of a smile crept up on Ningguang’s face. ‘You flatter me, Captain Beidou. Do you speak to all of your victims in such a manner?’

Beidou looked back up, meeting Ningguang’s ruby eyes once again. ‘Only the ones who catch my eye, princess’.

A sudden burst of fireworks erupted from outside the window, interrupting the intimacy that both women seemed to be enjoying. A beautiful display of Liyue’s warm red and yellow colours, marking the end of the Lantern Rite festival. Ningguang’s eyes darted to the impressive show and cursed under her breath, knowing that she should be there to celebrate another prosperous year for her nation instead of dealing with more personal affairs.

She swiftly brushed past Beidou, taking her hand and guiding her towards her direction. Ningguang picked up a golden necklace from one of her jewellery mannequins and handed it to Beidou. ‘I suppose I can’t leave you empty handed’.

Beidou inspected it before extending her arm to hand it back. ‘No, really,’ she looked at Ningguang longingly, knowing these were the last moments of their strange, though comforting, interaction. ‘This chat was enough.’

Ningguang encased her hand around Beidou’s, tightening the necklace in her grasp. ‘I insist. It’s worth something for your crew and besides, I can always buy another.’

She made her way hurriedly towards the open doors before she stopped, resting her palm on the frame and taking a glance back at Beidou. ‘Tell me I'll be seeing you again.’

Beidou smirked at her imposing request and rested her hands on her hips. ‘If our greetings will always start with a blade to my back, then hopefully not.’ Beidou replied playfully.

Ningguang smiled, looking out the window at the continuation of fireworks, then walked out the room. ‘A charmer, Captain Beidou, a real charmer.’

It took everything in Beidou not to follow Ningguang and stick with her for the rest of the night. You came here for one thing, remember?, she thought to herself. Beidou studied the necklace in her hand once more, unclasping the back of it and reaching up around her own neck to wear it. Hoyoverse crossover dream and musings because my brain needs a break from logic

I had a dream that felt like some wacky kind of comedy. I was Genshin Impact's Venti (possibly human form, or just hiding). I somehow got involved with three other men and it was apparent one of us is there to kill another. There was some weird dialog including: Venti: "There's like, one person who maybe would offer 200 to kill me, but not 500 [currency]" 2nd guy: "Yeah similar here, 300 maybe, 500 tho?" Venti, to the 4th: And you sir, no offence, look like someone who takes minimum 5000 a hit, so there's no way you're here after either of us and I don't think anyone is after you." The moment the 3rd was almost convinced he's not really after any of us an old-timey mafia appeared and tried to kidnap us all, realized we're not who they are looking for and decided to off us just because. Somehow we managed to get on a cargo train (open cars like dirt/gravel) and they start shooting at us... and then a team of characters appears from the direction the train was going, coming to save us and massacring the mafia and some other murderous ppl (who also probably were after us, I felt like I was missing a large chunk of the "story")

From various clues (including Jane Doe coming to the rescue) I managed to get the main character lineup: 1. Genshin Impact's Venti 2. ZZZ's Seth (probably working undercover). 3. Honkai Star Rail's Sampo (also the one who mistakenly(?) thought he was supposed to kill one of us). (convincing Sampo he's not out to get YOU because you figured out someone paid him more than your enemy would feels very Venti XD) Which makes me wonder... who the hell was no. 4, who was calm and very polite if somewhat restrained. While he did not verbally agree with my "min 5000 of [currency] (a lot) a hit" he smiled in a way that suggested I wasn't entirely wrong.

So. For your entertainment. Some potential candidates and how fucked is your organisation if you were the one kidnapping them. Mind that we were all dressed in 1920's garb, so yeah, a suit and a nice hat for everyone. Genshin Impact:

It was pouring heavily as you dragged Kazuha out of the restaurant and into the rain. Your clothes are soaked with water and your hair sticking to your face. You faced him, anger taking over your body and vision.

"Who was that?" Kazuha tried calmly asking with frustration cracking into his tone.

"He's my friend! I haven't seen him in years-"

He grabs your wrist, "I don't like the way he's looking at you, go home" he ordered sternly. Kazuha gave a quick glare to the man sitting at your table, his back facing both of you.

You in disbelief, "Are you joking, Kazuha?" that was the first time you called him by his name instead of one of the many pet names you call him like beloved or darling. You yanked your wrist from his grip.

"Kazuha, you came into the restaurant, ordered him to leave, and threatened him" You crossed your arms across your chest, body shivering a bit at the coldness

From the bridge, you saw from a distance a big ship floating near the big main wooden deck.

that looks a lot like Beidou's ship… you begin to worry.

you ran as fast as you could to the harbour, eyes searching for his red ones.

it was as if the universe could hear your silent prayers, a figure with red eyes lock into yours at the same time. He dropped the crate letting it fall into the ground with a thud as you and him run to each other.

He caught you in his arms, bodies fitting like missing puzzle pieces. One is nothing without the other. You let out a sob, while he rests his head on top of yours comforting you. People move around both of you passing a glace, children shouting from a distance and Beidou's booming laughter can be heard from the ship.

"Dove, I'm sorry" he whispers. You sobbed immediately at his voice, God, how you missed him.

Kazuha wiped your tears with his thumb, you looked up and saw his eyes watering too. "I shouldn't have acted like that, it's just.." he trailed off. He sighed before he sat on a crate beside him and motioned you to sit on his lap. He begins, "Your friend….he is a samurai, a skilled one, and 3 years ago we crossed paths and fought against each other,"

Your breath hitched at this new information. You've known this friend since diapers, he disappeared out of thin air and reappeared years later. Your head begins to spin, making this world distant and unknown.

"We both fought furiously, then in a moment of weakness he drove his blade to my shoulder and that's where I got this scar," untying his white haori to reveal a fading scar across his shoulder blade and chest. You traced his scar softly and he shuddered under your touch. He looked into your eyes, "I've been having nightmares ever since that day and I'm scared that he's going to take advantage of you and use you as bait to get me and I can't…" his voice shattering before a tear ran down his cheek. You wiped it with your thumb while cupping his cheek. "I won't forgive myself If anyone hurts you" he hid his face between the crook of your neck, his body relaxing in your arms.

You glanced at the ship, “when are you leaving? How long?” whispering gently while running your fingers through his white hair.

“we’re leaving by noon. We'll be on the sea for 6 months with our first trip being Inazuma”

You smiled sadly, of course, having a sailor as your partner isn’t easy. Having to endure many months of being alone in the house, worrying sick when you see a thunderstorm coming and being wide awake thinking and wondering where he is, who he's with or what he's up to.

“I’m sorry I didn’t know.. If I knew I would react differently“ you say.

Beidou shouted from the ship “Hey lovebirds, sorry to break it to you but-“

The voice dimmed down as kazuha locked his lips on yours. His lips feel smooth against yours. Kazuha tightens his wrap around you as you deepen the kiss, tugging his hair. You relish the hot breath tickling your lips. From the ship you hear cheers and claps, Kazuha smiled between kisses. You draw back catching your breath, your face red and his too. You rest your forehead against his, memorizing the red in his eyes by heart. Him looking at you like you're the glowing moon in the night sky.

“You know Beidou and I have been discussing bringing you along on our journey across the sea. She loves you and agrees that you’d be an amazing addition to the embarkment. Do you want to-“

“Yes, id love to” You cut him off before your lips collided with his, he hummed in satisfaction. Until the realization dawned on you.

“I have not packed!” you shouted, getting off his lap and someone in the ship shouted “20 minutes” You begin panicking.

“I brought you a bag,” he said before handing you the deep red coloured satchel that was on the crate. “I didn't pack much but we could buy other things as we go” You opened it and saw a journal you carry everywhere, paintbrushes and a flower pin. You smiled, knowing this is all you need. And Kazuha of course.

He takes your hand and kissed it like the true gentleman he is and offered an arm. “My lady, may I take you on a lifetime journey on the sea with me? We could fall in love under the maple trees together, hold hands as I guide you through the night market in inazuma and dance under the moonlight in each other's arms. The world has been waiting for us.” He smiled, I linked my arm with his.

It was a quiet, calm morning aboard The Crux, the ocean’s waves gently rocking the ship like an infant, rendering the majority of the crew in a deep slumber. It was in these early morning hours that Beidou truly felt at peace because of the fact that you were by her side, sipping on the tea she had made you as the both of you watched the ocean lap at the ship’s hull. In these private moments with you, she didn’t have to be the Captain of The Crux; she just had to be Beidou, and that was someone that she didn’t always get the chance to be very often.

“You know, I never thought I’d be a morning person,” You broke the silence with a small smirk as you sipped your tea, your eyes flickering over to Beidou in amusement.

“That’s what happens when you come aboard The Crux,” Beidou replied with mirth, angling her head to get a better look at you with her good eye, “You find yourself doing things you never even dreamed of.”

There was a wistful tone in her voice as she said this, watching you enjoy the sunrise bleeding over the horizon. Beidou only spoke the truth; being aboard The Crux led captain, crew, and all on wild adventures and strange places that no one dared go. Yet now as the waves danced with all the colors of the sky above, casting rays of light across your countenance, Beidou was beginning to realize The Crux would lead her to more than just the next harrowing adventure.

You gave a small chuckle at her reply, “What, you never dreamed of watching the sunrise before?” There was that sense of humor of yours, your lilting banter flowing as fast and steady as rum. It was one of your more addicting qualities to Beidou, one that she often sought to get drunk on.

She laughed at your teasing remark, but her smirk melted into a soft smile as she replied, “I never thought I’d have someone to watch the sunrise with.”

Beidou couldn’t help but snort at the sound of you choking on your tea, falling into a flustered coughing fit as the amusement radiated from her body, “What, too sappy for you, (Y/N)?”

“That…certainly wasn’t the response I was expecting from you,” You cleared your throat after finally recovering and looked at her with a bit of a somber expression, “What brought that out so suddenly?”

Shrugging her shoulders, Beidou turned her attention back towards the glittering sea, “Figured I’d make your morning with a bit of charm. Did it work?”

You rolled your eyes and nudged Beidou with your elbow, “You know, you don’t have to charm me to make my morning. Just be yourself, Beidou.”

She was touched by your words, her heart unlocking just a bit more at the notion that you appreciated all the facets of herself. Still, the urge to act coy was irresistible.

“Oh, so the real me isn’t charming, huh?” Beidou replied with a quirk of her eyebrow, “Sheesh, what a tough crowd. Usually the whole title of captain and having money is all it takes.”

Your laugh rang throughout the main deck, your lips curling upwards, “Shut up, Beidou! You know what I meant. I like spending time with you, not the Captain of The Crux, the Uncrowned Lord of the Ocean, or whatever other fancy nickname you’ve earned for yourself.”

Beidou hummed in response, the corner of her mouth turning upwards slightly, “That’s good to hear. If it means anything, there’s no one else I’d rather make a morning person out of by having them watch the sunrise with me.”

She watched you blink for a moment before your features softened. You turned back to look out towards the ocean once more, letting the conversation die out to have the silence filled with the gentle sound of rolling waves. The sun was about to be completely over the horizon now, the bold, brilliant colors of the sky slowly fading to a familiar blue as Beidou gave a soft sigh. The Crux had led her practically all over the world through rough, raging storms and treacherous oceans, ensuring that her life was never dull the moment she set foot out to sea. Yet, in these tranquil waters, Beidou found that The Crux had also led her to these small, serendipitous moments with you, and perhaps that was a story more worth telling than her adventures.

That is our name. We don't care too much for pronouns but most people lean toward she so that works! We're sapphic, aro, and queerplatonic note: while we use we/us we are not plural... at least we don't think so? it's confusing but we aren't a system or anything like that as far as we know.

eeh... yes and no. yes in the way that we'll take ideas but we don't guarantee anything or any sort of schedule on them. small asks are nice though!

The Rules?

We like to think we're pretty lenient but with the fandoms we write for there can be some nasty people so we should probably lay them out. -> Nope on requesting sexual content or anything like that. We're not a stranger to that kind of content and don't mind suggestive mentions or the odd joke but chances are you'll probably be ignored if it's something we don't feel right with. We will, however, possibly occasionally write that and will tag accordingly. -> We don't mind guys enjoying our content! That said our content isn't meant for them and will always have sapphic intents. -> Angst is okay! Yandere is not. Comfy vibes here, though we do admittedly have a soft spot for angst. -> Criticism is a no-no! If I miss a small grammar thing that's okay to let me know but advice and stuff... mmmn no thanks. -> We don't really write romance and if we do it's still under a queerplatonic lens so it's never wholly romantic. Still, don't be weird. Characters under 18 are strictly platonic, even if quiet moments and physical touch is included. (Example: holding Diona close through a stormy night like holding a younger sister or laying with Collei in the mutual immobility.)
