Huhuuuu, heute stelle ich euch die Angelwing Begonie vor. Sie ist eine Unterart der Begonien Familie und gehört mit zu meinen liebsten Pflanzensorten.

Herkunft: Südamerika, Tropen, Subtropen

Pflege: Mäßig - einfach 🌿🌿🌿-🌿

Vervielfältigung: sehr leicht (Wasser/Moos)

Erde: Ich nutze eine eigene Mischung aus Palmenerde und Perliten. Nur Palmenerde genügt ihr aber auch.

Dünger: Sommer 1x die Woche. Winter 1-2x im Monat.

Wie ich die Angelwing Begonie pflege:

Wie die meisten tropischen Pflanzen wird sich die Begonie im warmen und feuchten Habitat am wohlsten fühlen. Jedoch kann man Pflanzen auch gut ans eigene Raumklima gewöhnen.

Diese Begonie ist für Pflanzen Neulinge so gut geeignet, weil sie sehr resistent ist. Ich persönlich habe die Erfahrungen gemacht, dass sie sehr gut mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung klar kommt ohne Sonnenbrand zu bekommen. Sie fühlt sich aber auch ohne direktes Licht im Schatten wohl, wächst dann nur etwas langsamer.

Generell versuche ich sie in mittelgroßen Töpfen zu halten, da sie es lieben Wasser zu trinken und ich die Erde somit immer etwas feucht halten kann. Im Sommer kommt es schonmal vor, dass ich sie (je nach Größe und Standort) alle 2 Tage gieße.

Du kannst Begonien einfach wild wachsen lassen oder regelmäßig zuschneiden. Meine Begonien schneide ich immer zu, da ich die etwas buschigere Optik lieber mag als lange Triebe. In beiden Fällen macht eine Rankhilfe aus einem alten Stock, Holz oder sonstigem aber Sinn.

Aus meiner Erfahrung sind Begonien, welche man von Privatpersonen als Ableger oder Pflanze bekommt nicht mit den Forellenbegonien aus dem Baumarkt zu vergleichen. Die finde ich sehr Anspruchsvoll und pflegebedürftig!

Ich erzähle, wie ich meine Pflanzen Pflege, es kann sein, dass die gleichen Pflanzen bei anderen Menschen andere Pflege brauchen. Es kommt auch immer darauf an, wie die Mutterpflanze gepflegt wurde und an welche Umgebung sie sich vorher gewöhnt hat.

I found this 'Little Darling' Begonia while roaming @plantfoundry and I immediately had heart eyes! 😍 With hairy edges and deep, exotics colors, this plant looks like it could be in the Little Shop of Horrors. But this surprisingly delicate, spreckled - leaf Begonia has been surprisingly easy to grow and seems to be doing well indoors.
