Remember to cool down after exercise, one of the reasons being to prevent blood pooling. Blood pooling can make one feel light headed, nauseated, faint and even in some cases cause heart palpitations. Perform low intensity exercise such as light walking, cycling or static/yoga stretches will help bring the heart rate and breathing back to post workout. For each stretch focus on holding that particular position between 20 to 30 seconds.
