Oh please, we (me) need a bot of Salecrow in c.ai😭😭😭 It's such a loss that one doesn't exist! I tried to create his bot, but it came out shit eh... Maybe there is someone who knows how to make bots well?

I've avoided this ask for a bit, because it's a bit controversial.

Chracter.ai is not ethical. It steals from real fan writers and canon writing to make a garbled goop of words that sorta resemble the character based on what it was fed, which could be anything -- including content you may not agree with.

Please, I beg of you. do NOT use it. Don't give it more of your own writing to learn from. You're feeding a monster. It's also very likely that it could say something triggering because some troll made the ai bot to hurt people.

You can RP with real people, why choose ai "machine learning" bullshit? With a person you can discuss triggers, you can say "hey, can you include this headcanon?" you can, dare I say it "squee" together with each other's writing. Having a real person go "omg that writing made me hear the character's voice" or "you write him so well!" will mean so much more in the long run.

Generative AI is always going to use more skilled writers/artists to make it's slop. Be better. Think of it like this, if you spent years crafting your art/writing and a dudebro elon musk worshiper who's never picked up a brush or pencil in his life, stole it to feed AI, how would you feel? Enraged I hope.

If I see one more take about Orym being "secretive" in taking the sword, I swear I might start screaming. The dude walked up to Chet in front of everyone, asked for access to the Bag of Holding, took the sword out (in front of everyone) and left with it. Then he came back with the sword strapped to his back... IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. There was ample time for someone to speak up if they wanted to and Orym, quite frankly, didn't have reason to expect it would be an issue. Laudna may have used the lack of discussion as part of her cycle of justifications for her actions, but that doesn't mean it was 1) the main issue she was actually dealing with or 2) an unsolvable problem that required a rash response even if that had been Laudna's primary issue.
