It's almost time for FFXIV's seasonal halloween event so naturally, it's time for a costume! And what better costume than the game that's been stuck in my head since I played it. It's a cosplay of the Princess from Slay the Princess!

I wanna consume Shanks x Buggy like a Shakespearean tragedy. I want it like a Jane Austen slow-ass period drama with nothing but hints. No actual communication, just odd looks exchanged from across the room and by the time one of them reaches where the other was, there's no trace of them.

I want it in the way that I want my doomed-by-the-narrative tropes: burning me alive on the inside. I want it to keep me awake at night because my eyes are too swollen from crying.

I want Buggy in constant inner struggles and no will to live other than spite and Shanks fighting tooth and nail even though he knows his efforts are Sisyphean.
