Ok, but like I feel like I've never dove in how Jason was probably the youngest in the legion. Probably for a very, very long time. And imagine how it felt to watch as kids played in new Rome, and eventually joined you. And you could never join them as they played in new rome. Imagine all of the kids you know are older than you, and you can't make friends. Imagine having to lead quests of people way older than you that resent you for it because of your parentage. Imagine how happy he was when people his age finally started joining, and I wishing he could he them? Imagine basically being raised by a bunch of teenagers, many of whom dislike you? Would love to hear ur thoughts

honestly, i imagine all of the older members of the legion whispering behind Jason's back about how easy he has it in camp jupiter bc of his dad, about how he isnt "qualified" enough to lead missions, and how he has everything "handed" to him. i feel like he had a LOT to prove and only when his missions started getting successful, people actually accept that he is capable, but even then envious members of the cohort would say that he got lucky or only succeeded bc of jupiter's blessings or smth. could you imagine a baby jason going to the older members of the legion for advice and they just coolly shrug him off? i feel like in a realistic standpoint, they arent outright mean to him bc they are terrified of jupiter's anger but they arent friendly either.

They just let him sit in a corner. i feel like at some point, even when people his age start coming in, he still wouldnt feel loved, because they all would think jason is too scary or intimidating and would avoid him out of fear, also bc he doesnt understand their jokes bc he was brought up too serious. so he would be an outcast. he would be an outcast but not necessarily in a bad way, but like "he's too good for us" type of way which actually hurts jason way more. like when he comes in they all would give him a small bow or something and it gets on his NERVES.

overall i feel like there is too much jealousy surrounding him for him to have any comfortable conversation with people, especially because he is their "leader" even if he was a praetor very late, people still subconsciously saw him as one, even the old praetors consulted him before they came to a decision.

i feel like the moment people even remotely saw him as a human with feelings is when he joined the least reputed legion simply to popularize it. i feel like that was HIS moment where ppl were like "yep this guy is actually a living person with empathy!" but it reverted back to ppl seeing him as an unapproachable artifact

which is why im so upset that frank and hazel didnt have a closer relationship with him, i mean we did see jason and frank talking together on the deck of argo 2 after jason transferred his praetorship to frank, probably filling him in his position, but i wish their relationship ascended beyond just a mentor and his apprentice. because that concept with jason's character gets so old. literally everyone saw him as an advisor and leader that they could learn from, but who really saw something beyond that about him? only leo, nico, reyna, piper and percy tbh.

and in the end, reyna had a subtle fallout with him so they didnt talk, piper broke up with him so they were awkward and tense, leo "died" and never saw him again, the last time nico saw jason was probably during the strawberry field scene when nico told him he's staying at camp, and jason got too busy with his temple project to see anyone else. he was working to keep his promise till the very end, just like a true roman. honestly thanks to you i might actually expand on this in a separate post and tag you in it :)

TWDG idea is actually a cool concept, and I totally am so up for it, and I do actually want to write about it, just for fun and all, but I think I would need think more about how it would pan out

For example, Would the curtis parents die long before the apocalypse, or have them die due to the walkers? I do like concept of clem finding out what happened to her parents, considering the idea she stuck with is that they’re alive and hiding.

who would be sticking with who? Obvious answer would be PB with his family but maybe they got separated along the day and ended up finding the Shepards gang? That could go along with your idea of Lee and Clem being Tim and Ponyboy where they eventually bond throughout the story.

Would Ponyboy and Curtis reunion be more like how Clementine finding Kenny again in the second season? I think that would be a really cool idea

Pony and Curly meet up especially.. but that would definitely be a long way away before they would officially find each other again.

the curtis parents just already died before this all happened, and it was darry and soda who turned into walkers!!! now why couldnt they rush back home, idfk man ill find that out later, but point is darry called tim bc him and tim have this unspoken thing for looking out for each others families, tim finds pony and takes him w him!! and bonus points if pony saw them at some point as walkers, EXTRA extra bonus points if he saw his parents, johnny and dally too but they were so decomposed he didnt rlly understand it at the time lmao

as for the first group of survivors, i think it would b cool for it to be a mix of the curtis AND the shepard gang, because in the first bunch of survivors u hang out w, theyre all just unlikely ppl to be hanging out w one another, clashing but trying to survive and i can totally see that w the shepard and curtis gangs, which also builds onto the idea of pony and tim being clem and lee because this means tim would have to take pony under his wing so he can properly understand what to do w these guys, yknow??

as for pony and curly meeting, like i said, curly was in the run down reformatory for a good while, and i think it would be YEARS after theyve actually met again, so next time they see each other, theyve grown up quite a bit and theyd be so happy to have someone they used to know in their old life actually alive, so they both have this sense of normalcy returning when theyre together but considering the trauma these too got goin on rn, it would b a while before they like OFFICIALLY got together

This may be my personal reading but I think Claudia very deliberately riled up Lestat in that chess scene so she could expose everything to Louis and get him to leave with her. I never saw Claudia for one second believing anything Lestat promised, but she likely went along with letting Lestat back in cause she knew that Louis needed to be shown without a doubt that Lestat was full of shit before he would actually agree to leave. Cause in that first chess scene its not like Lestat is saying anything provocative or aggressive towards anyone, for all we know, he's playing his part really well yet she pokes at him with very sensitive jabs (Nicki) to get him to expose himself, which he does and that helps to push Louis closer to leaving. She knows at this point Lestat isn't thinking about her much more than as a means to keep Louis so she turns that against him as now she becomes the means to get Louis away from Lestat.

I always wondered why in those 6 years did she not leave NOLA? We see that Louis is physically perfectly fine by year 3. She must've known with the non-stop gifts from Lestat it was only a matter of time before Louis was worn down.

before i get into it we do not see a louis who is perfectly fine ever. there is not a single episode when louis is in anyway stable. this is a assertion that does not take into account the beast of PTSD. that shit showed up with flashbacks in Dubai. He was not okay. and Claudia knew that.

also before i get to whats really driving me to push back. we are disagreeing in Lestat playing his part well. Louis is in love and bonded (the real actual definition of trauma bonded, not like how its been wildly misinterpreted) to lestat. He is not going along with this because Lestat is playing his part well. He is manipulating Louis. He is trying to manipulate Claudia. Lestat is the one who broke their relationship it does not matter that he’s not being provocative or aggressive in this scene. the last ten or so minutes ep 5 is enough of a reason for her to NEVER trust him again. What does it say that ANYONE should expect her to over look that alone and play nice because in this moment he’s not doing anything that is a take i cannot and will not agree with.

but ep 5 is not a stand alone. he been provocative and aggressive from the beginning.

but im gonna have to push back on something that has been bothering me. Claudia is not without emotion. and she is not without feeling. in fact locked up at fourteen she is MADE UP of emotion and feeling. she is NOT just a plotting monster. i thought i challenged this take enough in my rewatch but imma have to get into it more. maybe she doesnt feel the ramifications of her actions. maybe she isnt burdened by guilt bc of her age. maybe shes more ruthless bc of her age. why should i not attribute emotion to that. this is where i think ppl like to refuse the full breath of children’s humanity. kids seek nurture and care. they’ll do anything for it. they don’t have an full understanding of everything. but they are not these unfeeling cold monsters that just go about being destructive and not caring. a friend of mine told me onetime he took i think it was a jelly fish or something from the sea and put it in the bathwater bc he wanted to keep it. he didnt understand that would kill it. when it died he was so fucking anguished he cried for the rest of the day especially when his parents told him it happened bc he put it in the bath. that it belongs in the sea.

now. i see to much that y’all wanna only allow the monster piece in claudia and it drives me up the wall. and her childhood is often used agaisnt her. shes more of a monster bc she didnt get to live a full life she let go of her humanity bc she didnt have all the years of humanity loustat did. except she had 14 years of humanity. in 14 years she lived a life. and i refuse to take that away from her. she is angry!! she is angry and sad and lonely and frustrated and isolated and alienated and reaching for connection and she is time and again denied her personhood. That is the humanity in her. she also fed the fuck up!!! and how she chooses to go about getting her ass out of there does not take away her humanity.

she is also curious. she also is loving and wants love in return. she is also nurturing and wants to be nurtured back. she is also gentle and wants gentleness back. ALL of this drives her ruthlessness for fighting back. her ruthlessness for killing. her ruthlessness for surviving. and her ruthless for doing what needs to be done to get out.

she also dragged louis out to algiers bc she loves him. bc it hurts her to see him. why do you think they included that little walk where they were talking about Emily Dickinson? they were happy. they weren’t perfectly fine. but they were happy. they were relaxed. they were at peace. they were each others. they werent constantly under the threat of abuse and mistreatment and fear. Louis traded that for his relationship with Lestat. I can understand why he did that and also stand with her on her anger about that. that fucking HHURTS! it hurts children when the abuser comes back home. it hurts them. she was hurt. so no i dont agree that she just did that to plot against them. hating and loving are often times not mutually exclusive. sometimes you hate because you love. and eventually with enough signs it wont get better hate can eclipse love. but thats where it was born. at least thats what i see was elevated in their relationship with the amcverse.

It's Layla and Marc singing (and dancing) w/ to each other, but their muppets and a disco ball pops out at some point. Their puppet costumes switch from normal clothes to their avatar suits on beat. The costume change happens via a spin transition either physically (the puppets) or camera. Or a whip to the side.

"we were such a good team/still going strong"

Layla singing to marc how she'd doesn't understand what happened Marc is trying but can't really explain to Layla why he backed away .

"I never did you wrong until the ne× me came along"

[MK and possibly Steven coming into play].

"Now I'm alone on the boulevard of broken streams."

"I'm just a toy to you, my love"

And it continues, Layla feeling a bit betrayed and confused. Maybe due to the suit and other trauma in his life, Marc doesn't feel "human" anymore since his autonomy is practically gone due to his servitude to Konshu and being a superhero/having to protect ppl.

He needs Layla but he believes she doesn't need him cause she'll only get hurt bc of him (due to konshus jobs and promise to take Layla instead if he doesn't fall in line).

You could analyze lyric to apply it to their relationship.... I'm not gonna do that. But you get the idea Σ(Ｔ▽Ｔ;)

2. Friends in low places by Worthikids.

It's in a paper mache animation style with bolts (flat pins) on the characters joints.

The first part (guitar riff Part before the lyrics come in) is a title card introduction to marc and bushman. It details Marc's last moments due to bushmans betrayal, "on that hallowed night when I lost my life.." him meeting konshu and becoming MK.

"I was chosen for a second chance at life"

Konshu granted Marc MK power in the pyramid.

Konshu is doing the laughing in the background cause he just got a bog3 deal.

"I am the watcher I watch for all of time"

Shows him looking over the city Konshu will be pulling the strings and moving MK around like a puppet.

"I got friends in low places, just another one in a long line of no ones"

Shows previous mooknights in a line up behind or besides Marc/MK like in ATLA.

We get a visual of marc walking/staggering the background changes between locations and nights and day cycles by spinning the background like a wheel. Marc switches between, MK himself, Steven and Jake all walking through the streets of whatever city theyre currently located in.

You get the idea the ending shot is MK looking over the city and konshu looming behind him as "friends in low places fades out "

3. So we fall by Stupendium. So I know this is the odd own out but hear me out:

The fall guys singing abt being exploited by higher ups are replace by past avatars of all the Egyptian gods. Singing to MK abt how unfair their life as a avatar was and how some came to perish.

They didnt know what they were really getting into. Or the things they had to do. Ect ect. The ones pulling the strings using them for their own entertainment as they risk their lives to fulfill their duties.

hello im back (that anon who cant play bg3 herself but needs to Explode dekarios-style over her tav and astarion)

i wrote a full ask for axelias backstory to provide context but then i realized how long the ask would get . so here i am with half of what i need to rant over AJSJSJA

ANYWAYS axelia (my rogue tiefling who was a street urchin) and astarion are absolutely enemies to lovers in the same way shadowheart and lae'zel would be enemies to lovers !! they initially hate each other w a Passion but thats before they realize how eerily similar they are w their experiences and outlooks, and how the other can only really begin to understand why they behave the way they do

initially axelia hates astarion bc she has Issues with political figures (the start of her Trauma is bc of one bribed politician that fucked her already poor family over .) and while she wouldnt admit it easily she had a bias AJSJAJAJJ the only thing she really cared about when she got out of the nautiloid was to get back to her younger sister (hope). astarion would pick up on the friction pretty quickly and sass her right back the most to the point where its honestly a routine for them to fight and the only thing missing is either of them copying shadowheart and laezel w the blade at the throat

however. axelia got to know more about astarion beyond his facade . what really was the first thing that made her empathize w This One Of All People is how they both really dont trust/like ppl who display themselves as a lawful hero AJSJAJJAJ she grew up as a street urchin who was forced into that position bc of a guy who pretended to be good, and nobody would help her, a starving dirty tiefling child whos providing for both her and her sister, without smth in return ? so yeah no she Fucking Gets It .

time passes on and she develops an old married couple dynamic w astarion AJJSJSJA like still bickering but more lighthearted as they learn to empathize more w each other. fast forward to him trying to seduce her for the first time and it was a "might as well happen" thing for her KWNRKSJAJA she felt comfy enough that she didnt see any reason to refuse, and she didnt want to admit it at the time but she was def growing more unironically fond of him and his company

the more she hears about astarions story the more she gets furious for him and determined to show him that there are people who will fight for him . its the protective kind of love that axelia doesnt even realize is whats happening. she just knows that above all else, cazador needs to Die and she'd be willing to risk her own safety just to help astarion see it through

by this time theyre in a relationship w no labels AJJSAAA basically act 2 relationship. theyre both not exactly sure what they are to each other but they both know they can rely on the other to actually Give A Shit about them. while they both still love to argue and Disrespect each other its the fun kind where they definitely know its just banter at this point that they can easily use to team up on the others <33

act 3 comes and while axelia also gets the fear behind astarion wanting to ascend so badly she also knows that thats not a decision hed be too proud of if he could see the consequences now AJSJAJAJ so ofc spawn route <33

Also the Sigma one hmmm...from what I remember dazai and Chuuya aren't completely out of Meursault yet right? And he himself had promised sigma that he will take him out of there and he isn't someone who breaks his promises so yeah ( also I'm not a sigzai shipper but I think he genuinely cares about Sigma cuz he reminds him of Atsushi or whatever and he sounded honest when he said a part of why he chose sigma was that he wanted to actually save him and Asagiri didn't just made out their interactions and the possibility of Sigma joining the ada and him becoming fond of Dazai to some extent only for it to just mean nothing at the end )

Sorry for ranting;) I may be wrong though because I'm not good at analyzing or sth and English isn't my first language so....

Lets cover Sigma first. He's been a crucial character in this arc but extremely passive. But he has gained some extremely important information and seemingly gone into a coma. The character who this information relates to is seemingly dead. But see, we dont know what Sigma found out, we dont know what Fyodor is, its implied he isn't human. I am also obsessed with the body hopping theory but keeping that aside Fyodor's ability will definitely come into play and Sigma will be very important when that happens.

As for the Sigma being forgotten thing. We only saw Sigma from Fyodor's perspective before he even knew skk were working together. In his perspective Dazai was dead, Chuuya was a vampire and Sigma was incapacitated cause that's how he left him. He did not expect anyone to make it out alive with Chuuya most likely being captured for murdering these many govt soldiers, Dazai was dead and Sigma also taken in because he is part of a terrorist organisation after all. With skk alive they most likely went in and got Sigma. And yes, I do think Dazai cares about Sigma enough to want to keep his promise to him. The "we forgot the kids" joke is mostly just a joke in the fandom. I hate that Dazai is getting dragged for this at all. Bro has proven himself enough.

I wouldn't say Mori was using Chuuya. Mori is Chuuya's boss. Him dressing Chuuya up and sending him on a mission is not exactly him being used by anyone. He is just doing his job as an executive. Fyodor thought he was using Chuuya, that he was properly utilizing the gravity manipulator. Dazai may or may not have thought Chuuya was being used against his will given that he was mad pissed when Chuuya arrived and seemed to have partnered up with Fyodor and he seemed really irritated at Fyodor talking about Chuuya like a tool and implying he didnt know how to use him.

If anything Chuuya wasn't being used at all and him and Dazai were doing their whole in sync without even talking and expecting the other to understand because they have this crazy level of faith in each other thing they have been doing since they first met. Chuuya maybe more so because Dazai might not even be aware Chuuya wasn't a vampire.

Chuuya is smart enough to fool actual geniuses and outsmart computer brained androids. That guy is not stupid and can very well deal with Fyodor who was already blinded by his hubris.

OH I DIDNT REALISE IT WAS SO RECENT THAT MAKES MORE SENSE for me I've been trans since i was 12 and I only recently got more comfy being [insert gender here] and using she/her pronouns. Which doesn't make me a detransitioner or a woman by any means (i cant even "pass" for a girl atp since I have facial hair)

What I have learned from this is that like. You can be whatever you want all of the time. The scaremongering about transness being this huge life changing thing are mostly lies. I was a he / him trans guy now im a she/he non binary person who looks literally more masc than i did before said realisation. It's fine to try stuff out and figure it out.

If you're really having trouble i recommend just cutting transphobia out of your life completely. Like not even arguing with it, just getting rid of it , blocking discourse about it. It's an absolute poison and it SUCKS. This includes calling it out, news stories critical of transphobia, everything. You're not a bad trans person for not engaging with your own oppression for that - sometimes you need a break from the negativity to feel more confident in yourself.

Also oddly enough having a cis boyfriend made me even more sure I wanted to transition. I won't go super into detail, but I basically ended up getting super super jealous of all his Cis Guy Things and I think that's what really cemented it for me. Especially cis guys who are chill with trans ppl can be literally some of the most validating ppl. I'll never forget when i came out, the boys' section of the soccer team I played for started hyping me up all the time, the guys in my friend group used to invite me out when they all went out together. The media and social media especially overstates the amount of transphobia the world has to offer by a long shot. There's a lot of fun and beauty in being a trans guy that gets talked about online but like. At the end of the day you're just a guy. Most people will see that lol.

i found your fic "evermore" by chance, and golly, i hope you don't mind me spilling everything about it.

now to clarify...i am someone who's distant with genshin impact (as in, ive put a ton of hours into it, played it an launch even!) but due to the overwhelming fandom and hoyo being....like that, I haven't been able to get into it with good feelings. its still a fun game, despite it all.

so when I got into your fic, I had....how do you say.... less attachment to the characters. I didn't think much of ayato, since his banner started when I quit playing. but I was intrigued with the plot! I'm super familiar with angst! I thought to myself, this will be a fun read.

and....quite frankly...your fic made really invested in these characters. I could feel the reader's pain reminiscing their time with ayato, the small dips and feels with diluc, how thoma has been pining for them this whole time- a very fresh, very interesting perspective to these characters, in a scenario that you couldn't see ingame.

while i expected the "im in a arranged marriage" plot with ayato, I certainty didnt see the twist with diluc! I can see why you said he wasn't leading on, and the revelation makes a bit more sense with ayato's comment of "the wind is going strong" because not only there were rumors, but the fact that those rumors could've reached jean before she could arrive. it would've been messy if she knew, right?

although...on that note, I might be misremembering on my part, but everyone else seems to be...pushing? or rather, interested with how diluc and the reader's relationship. rather than feeling he was leading us on, it was rather you who "lead us on" (im putting this in quotation marks bc i dont like the connotation of the word) which is why I can understand people feeling disappointed because it wasn't clear, even if there was shifts into diluc's pov- why hasn't there been an instance of him thinking about her? i think something like that would better ease in the readers about the ship, but also, since you never mentioned diluc's plus one, i assume this was the road you wanted to take- which isn't bad at all! i respect your decision, and im amazed you went through with it, even if it can cause backlash. many respects for you, even moreso you were willing to write an alternative version.

MORE. and also fic that understands the women from johnnys life have their own internal world and thoughts and life beyond him (and related to this johnnys feelings about being forever stuck in time and left behind by the world and others he knew) also more fic on ai being weird little fractaled aliens in their alien net world beyond the blackwall, maybe even some fun stories of people working in conjunction eith them maybe more stories of them posessing ppl willing or not knowledge about it or not esp since v is for all intents and purposes possessed by an ai themselves even if he doesnt think hes an ai art wise more comics like damn letsjam-art what happened :(

alt. being an actual person as in like her own multifaceted being and all the agnst from what happened to her (running theme apparently) actually dealing with the rammies of the internet infrastructure being completely gone for a time and causing a dark age as a result... like no one really deals with the rammies of what that would mean to just lose all that knowledge indefinitely not to mention lose the infrastructure, not to mention losing a world wide web cause im pretty sure its stated that nets are primarily local. dealing with how people are barred from doing any actual true netrunning since its so policed and controlled, how people arent even making their own programs but loading premade ones to use against others, which is where spider murphy wouldve been great to see the difference in what freelance netrunners could do back when the net was still around and untethered vs now again dealing with the identity crisis and weirdness and just what doesnt kill you makes you stranger vibe of unwillingly merging with another personality to the point you cant even tell where you end and they begin and maybe actually liking it by the end and i hate the game for doing this but it wouldve been so much more fun to have the usa still split apart into independent states that govern themselves vs whatevers left of the nusa vs like the no mans land in the middle of the country vs independent city states like night city. and even tho i didnt like them resetting the status quo in the game the game never really much delved into the fact THERE WAS A WAR ON AMERICAN SOIL RECONQUERING AND ANNEXING STATES BACK INTO THE NUSA like i just did not feel that major like event much int he game outside of like the random homeless veteran or like a single quest and vs too much of a blank slate to have any opinions on it so like whatever i guess but it wouldve been more fun to have an alien 'usa' to deal with in the game also sleeping on johnny actually being confronted with the death and suffering he caused that extended years beyond the nuking of the tower due to like radiation n shit and the resulting like 'red sky' era and like being challenged and possibly even changing his views on things as a result or like exploring what exactly it would take for johnny to change his mind on his whole 'this is for righteous justice that i can arbiter and any casualties are justified and acceptable' mindset

aka brina rambles, also this is not rebloggable for a reason. this is shit ive worked on for ages. across blogs i have deleted and everything. i dont want random ppl rbing it without permission and taking info and i want it set up so if the info is taken it can still be traced back here. esp with how long ive been deciding on names for those courts lmao. they’re not the most ingenius or anything but i still put work into it yknow.

so anyways basically cassies bio dad vas is ofc a full blood fae, and a hybrid of the two main ‘courts’ by wonderland standards bc ofc im going with the basis that is shown both in syfy canon and ouat canon of wonderland denizens have a very different physiology to other realms, Jefferson in ouat remembered everything in his original life and just had the new memories shoved into his head too which drove him upending, i write that into cassie she has her old memories because of her physiology but the new memories didnt really settle in her head at all, so she only has vague understanding of it all. her twin brother has all his old memories but he also has the new ones so he very much so leans into the ‘im gonna fuck around and see what happens cause this is great’ bc hes a clown, but anyways. and yes i play it as jefferson is from wonderland, i write my jeffy on my sideblog, i also write grace, ima do what i want, but abc kept going back and forth with it, they mention his home in ouatiw but then in ouat they imply hes not from there so they didnt give a shit either, i can do what i want

but again main point, there’s no reason why other realms faeries would have the same physiology as wonderland faeries would, and ive played it into threads too before, the general descriptions of cheshire cats generally lean heavily faerie like, cassie is the cheshire while her twin brother is the dormouse, in syfy verse those are more titles than actual being. but shes a faerie she has an animal transformation which makes that also an actual being, and while her title is generally just ‘cat’ to most people, she is aligned with and technically a cheshire cat, she has the grin they associate with cheshires and she often times acts as a sort of guide, but also a very annoying pot stirrer in multiple ways, and a main thing that i play on a lot is how she guides ‘oysters’ aka humans to hatter, which is something people dont bring up a lot. in aaiw the cheshire cat is essentially toying with alice and leading her on to where she should go, and while alice is following the rabbit, the cat is manipulating the system in its own way as well. im actually gonna go buy another crappy edition of aaiw just so i can annoyingly tab it and stuff and im debating a cruddy paper one or a good hardcover— anyways

so like obviously creative liberties here, faeries arent really canon to wonderland at all but like fair folk magical aspects are still present, like the pig turning into a baby and shit, all the wildcarding that happens. creative liberties, its free media now to do whatever the fuck you want. i know many people hate adaptions and im sorry they hate fun im gonna do what i want.

now most commonly people separate fae by seelie and unseelie, or ‘good and bad’ faeries is often how they describe seelie and unseelie. and whilst im sort of doing similar (but giving them new names bc again, wonderland is not the human land, theres no reason that they have to have the same names) im also adding to it, adapting it, etc etc. Even in the separate courts, there are subtypes, but the royal families of each court would have at least a basic gift with all the powers of the subtypes, which is essentially why they’re the ‘royal family’ despite their own powers being so much weaker than an individual only showcasing one subtype of magic. more equals greater, despite the obvious issues with that, more or less.

The two ‘courts’ or ‘good and bad’ as the ‘good’ would have one believe, the current names i have going for them would essentially be translated to Deyreins, the ‘good’, and Bludveils, the ‘bad’ (i still have to fix the spelling on my bios on the sideblog tho lol). Bludveils centuries ago were cursed by the Deyreins to an eternal binding of honesty, which means they have to be truthful in words, but they can use twist the truth through twisting and confusing tales, purposefully manipulating it to sound like something else while theyre still being truthful, and basically just using loopholes to get their way. And the results of that curse is used against them to frame them as massively villainous, cruel, and evil creatures. What the Deyreins did not count on was the Queen of Hearts using this to further her own gain, and villainizing both sides as a way to essentially wipe them out from the face of Wonderland. Those that are left on Wonderlands main plane hide their species, and the rest had to escape to an astral plane to protect themselves from her.

But a large portion already had to escape because of Cassie’s father. Most will only recognize him by one of two names, the White Knight who destroyed the house of black and gave reign to the Reds and Whites, or as the monster, the creature of everyones darkest fears, the creature accused of slaughtering villages for fun and embarking on chaotic destruction for the thrill, The Jabberwock. By all accounts, he is both. His animal transformation is the monster itself and he was always the one taking the head, but never the one given the crown. Which is ironic given his existence is due to a romantic tryst between a noble of the Deyrein court and a royal of the Bludveil court. The twins didn’t get equal parts of the bloodlines the way he did, Cassandra inherited a lot more Bludveil than Deyrein, the curse affects her too, but Mason got almost nothing from it. It’s recessive in his body, but the curse doesn’t act on him. he has nothing to worry about, she does.

They’re only have fae though, the other half is Witch, their mother is the Queen of Spades and an extremely powerful sorceress, and trysts like that are not meant to happen according to the Deyrein courts, they are not supposed to exist. they’re essentially not allowed to because that threatens the order the deyreins built for themselves centuries ago and regularly slaughter bludveils for trying to fight against. no matter which way its sliced or diced, they’re in danger from just about every single point. if their family bloodlines got out, from the hearts for threatening the fact they stole the crown from the rightful heirs, from the deyrein fae for threatening their control over the other plane because its proof they can coexist in ways other than treaties and threats and submission.

and ofc jack is just a bitch whos mad cassie didnt bend the knee to him, is obsessed with her anyways due to her fae magic, and doesnt want his crown threatened that he never earned in the first place. he’ll say otherwise like ph i played my mother and i worked for the resistance, bitch you stole that land you stole that crown get fucked, anyways.

ok more thoughts (tbh just typing out stuff until it makes sense) abt the wwdits finale cos i was kind of out of it/frustrated whn i made the last post lol ^^;

literally everything, EVERYTHING until now indicated that nandor didnt give a fuck about guillermo and he was gonna 100% kill him, actually, literally, for having another vampire turn him, since this is a HUGE disrespect towards him in the vampire world. and ill be honest we as the audience kind of know already that nandor does care abt guillermo... but we also know that nandor isnt really aware of this, and thats hes pretty selfish and proud (and also an idiot). so yeah, hes very well capable of killing guillermo tbh!! but he doesnt!!!!

instead, he tells guillermo hes too important for him to do that, and that hell be sad if he dies! AND he even helps him turn completely by giving him human blood. unusually quick to catch on to what the problem was, i might add. as if he had taken guillermo's vampire hunter's blood and how it would affect turning him into consideration before. AND when he realizes that guillermo is unhappy he not only -as i said before- is the 1st one to notice, but he IMMEDIATLY cooks up a plan to help him revert the process. a GOOD one (wtf) and again, very quickly too, as if he was expecting this turn of events. HECK HE EVEN SAYS THAT EXACTLY he says that he suspected/feared that guillermo wasnt 'cut out' to be a vampire, which i think is something that has come up before in the show but in context im sure we all brushed off as a mere excuse for not turning him, since thats just the reality for familiars in this universe.

in the end, they go back to how things were b4 guillermo was bitten. everything goes back to normal… right? right, except we as the audience have a different perspective on things.

again, we kind of knew that the vampire clique(?) uh yea idk sorry im calling them that rn lol) kinda, sorta, cares about guillermo. maybe. well, now its... somewhat? confirmed, via the guide subplot that vamps are assholes to others bc they just hv a vampire way of expressing things. then again, this whole thing was towards another vampire, and until the last episode they dont see guillermo as a (true) vampire.

so like okay whats these two (guillermo and nandor)'s deal then

ok so this is the first time i actually think abt this sorry im slow lol.. until now ive been just seeing things unfold and just kind of paying attention to some details or other's ppls opinions. BUT NOW(?) i can actually SEE (kinda) whats goin on !!!!! i have some Personal Opinions & Feelings after the s5 finale

clearly theres the plot embryo structure at play here, and i think i now understand guillermo's arc a lot better.

theres something he wants, somethings he's always wanted: to become a vampire. for some LONG 4ss time now hes been very frustrated bc his master doesnt seem to have plans for turning him any time soon. hes growing anxious bc of this but we know thats not the only reason; he clearly thinks the vampires in the house dont value him, dont see him as an equal. he thinks nandor doesnt care about him. and hes not entirely wrong, tbh.

the "final" decision to ask derek to turn him comes from mostly these feelings of being inadequate, of feeling like hes the only one who actually cares (about guillermo himself. about what he wants. about him and nandor's apparently dead end relationship)

so he gets sick of waiting, and he just goes to get what he always wanted by his own means.

and regrets it completely. so much so that at the end he makes the decision to turn back.

so... what it is what he truly wants, then? or, better yet, what does he need? his true wish. why did he want to become a vampire this whole time? what is he after?

in the last ep is also revealed that (apparently?? idk im gonna need a bit more context) its guillermo who choose nandor as his master. or at least, he genuinely thought nandor was a really good choice. the best even. he admires him, wants to be like him. wants to be near him.

guillermo probably admires the vampire's lifestyle more than being a vampire itself. he has a very supportive family but they are also... vampire hunters, so its clear they dont like vampires, and probably disagree with their lifestyle for that same reason, which obviously ties together with it being a religious family and also the fact that guillermo's sexuality is pretty obviously closeted.

but what about nandor??? welllll ok i think i got it but lemme try to figure it out entirely?

i think nandor's most important arc until now was... kind of the opposite but also the same as guillermo's. he tried to become human.

the reason he did this was bc he felt lonely as a vampire. yea being a vampire is cool as fuck but its kind of isolating in a way too when youve got no one to share it with. im not gonna go super in depth talking abt this bc 1) i saw this season whn it came out n havnt rewatched it since n dont wanna misquote anything -.-;; and 2) i think the meaning its also pretty self explainatory. im literally describing it and you can already tell what everything means. of course its guillermo who goes to get nandor back to tell him that thats not who he is.

ok moving on. nandor is p much still alone in the romantic/lifetime partner sense. he alredy tried changing who he is to get a partner (or at least, to have a place where he doesnt feel as lonely) and that didnt make him happy. NEXT, with the help of the genie (sorry idk if thats how u write it eng is not my 1st lang im lazy etc) he tried, on the contrary, to change all his partnerts to the point they werent themselves anymore to accomodate his needs and whims. he tried to find the "perfect" partner, one that did everything he wanted, exactly. well, surprise, that didnt work out either. that didnt make him (or anyone) happy.

at this point i think its p obvious that he needs to compromise with other people. hes too self absorbed, too focused on what he wants as an end goal and doesnt truly see who his partners are as people. for him, they just serve as a role, they just exist to feel this void he has, this loneliness.

the transfer window for guesung rn is kind of a mess 😭 celtic and mainz were playing tug of war but then park jisung (former star kr football player and now technical director at jeonbuk) fell from my good graces when he rejected the mainz offer (and idk if celtic is rly pursuing him anymore) … now jeonbuk’s training in spain and there’s talks that la liga teams are interested?? idk mainz would still be cool for me bc the bundesliga is a good way to get used to european football, plus lee jaesung from the nt plays there so he’d have someone to rely on in a foreign country, and mainz area generally has the biggest kr population in germany. not to mention the fact that mainz coaches have already reached out to guesung to talk abt how to implement them into their style of play, so him getting minutes is also guaranteed. we’ll see ig … transfer window isn’t closed yet! 👍🏾

Stolitz in episode 7 part 1

I see alot of ppl saying they think Stolas isnt sure of what he wants or if it was all worth it after the recent episode, but I disagree.

To me I felt like the reality of shame hit him there, like before hes always been shameless about his relationship with Blitz and was pretty open about it and nobody said anything, however here was the first time someone ever brought up just how SHAMEFUL the relationship actually is, reality hit him like a ton of bricks when they brought up his wife and kid and how he gave it all up for Blitz, mocking him for being demon royalty and sacrificing everything for a lowly imp.

 This was the first time he was hit with the true reality of the whole situation and for the first time felt ashamed, which to be fair anyone would feel ashamed in that situation especially when its made a spectacle for a huge crowd of ppl, its understandable why in that moment, on reflex, he hid his face in shame. Not that Stolas was ashamed of Blitz because as I said hes always been shameless about his attraction to him, but he was ashamed of himself and what he'd done to his family, ashamed that everyone pretty much knew and pointed out what a failure and disgrace he is. 

Its clear Blitz is the one thing thats RIGHT in his life, atleast for him, but the problem is because of his status and poor communication skills he doesnt convey that to Blitz at all which makes him feel like nothing more than a sex toy for Stolas. 

I dont think Stolas is questioning what he wants or if it was worth it, as we know Stolas was miserable in his old life and the only joy he had was his daughter Octavia whos pretty much grown up now, but he has clearly never been happy with his wife. 

Stolas knows hes happy with Blitz and definitely wants to be with him as more than just sex partners but hes just haunted by his status as a prince of hell that wont allow him to FREELY be with Blitz without some form of shame or ridicule like what he experienced here, especially by other demon lords.

I dont care" which really shows the contrast between them and M&M.

Moxxie and Millie are in a stable and secure relationship and dont care what ppl say about their relatioship, their confident in their love and thats all that matters to them, everything else is white noise. Meanwhile Stolitz has yet to reach that type of stability and security, Blitz is unsure of his feelings for Stolas but clearly has some growing feelings there, and Stolas is sure of his feelings for Blitz but unable to confidently and proudly proclaim those feelings and their relationship under intense situations like this. 

I think one of the most beautiful parrelels in this scene was when Moxxie was being taunted, made fun of, and ridiculed, Millie jumped in and defended him, beating up Fizzeroli allowing Moxxie to continue singing uninterupted, Stolas on the other hand did NOTHING when Blitz was being ridiculed and instead hid away and allowed it, he didnt like it, but he was complicit. 

I think that also contributed to Blitz already immense envy of M&M, seeing how Millie ride or dies for Moxxie but then Stolas just ghosts him really had to hurt. He probably thought when he came to his rescue last episode that maybe Stolas really did care for him the way Millie did Moxxie, but in this episode he DIDNT come to his rescue which just reinforced his trust issues and fear of getting close to ppl since right as he had began to start somewhat accepting his feelings for Stolas, he turned his back on him. 

So I dont believe Stolas is unsure of what he wants, he's just hesitating to take that final step ready to face the full shame and ridicule of being together unapologetically with Blitz. 

Alot of ppl think its Blitz who needs to make the first move but personally I see it as the other way around, its Stolas who has to be firm and honest about what he wants and stop hesitating, if Blitz is gonna open up and work on his issues Stolas has to give him a REASON to and stop sending mixed messages. Once he does that then Blitz will see he's genuine and THEN he can begin to slowly let down the wall he's put up.

But this is just MY perception of it, I’ve seen plenty of others which are all valid, just wanted to give my 2 cents since this episode REALLY hit hard because I KNOW what that type of betrayal and humiliation feels like.

Hello, I just saw this weird take on the MDZS Short Fics on ch 4. 'He actually wasn't really mediocre, he was ranked 5th in the best-looking young gentlemen in the cultivation world and in terms of skill and knowledge in the 6 arts (this was before the sunshot campaign too). Wei Wuxian was always ahead, thats true but Jiang Cheng was always a step behind. He kept up his pace and considering Wwx is a literal genius I'd say its pretty damn impressive. (1/?)

It’s why he gets so twitchy when Wei Wuxian starts doing stuff that’s going to land him with a Reputation. he has custom virulence perfectly tailored to his target’s insecurities and weaknesses. Very good at making people mad. He's good at organization and logistics. He walks down that mountain and manages to pull together enough of a clan to start fighting the Wen, making allies, and looking for his brother, and I don’t think he could do that if he wasn’t pretty good at both of those things. TLDR: good at reading a room, organization,leadership and logistics. Drive as we. And lastly you remember that cute disciple in nightless city that was like 'Oh look! The ghouls aren't attacking us! He doesn't utilize it to manipulate a situation for the better. He just uses it to shit on other people. Usually the good people. Now JGY for example uses that ability in a savvy way to throw his opponents off balance and gain the upper hand. jc? jc just knows how to hurt ppl for the sake of hurting them.

You know who else knows how to play on someone's temper but isn't consistently an asshole for it? Wei Wuxian. He uses that strategically in the Xuanwu cave to get Wen Chao away from Wen Zhuliu so he shift the odds in their favor and help MianMian, Jin Zixuan and Lan Wangji - and really everyone else in the cave who was going to be forced to face the Xuanwu without their swords.

jc gets twitchy when WWX is doing the right thing bc let's say 20% he also wants to be seen as a hero but he's too self absorbed and selfish to put in the work...which brings us to the remaining 80% of his motivation- which is that he doesn't want to inconvenience himself to help someone else.
