Today I was able to go and take my time walking the local botanical gardens and it was amazing. The only downside is I didn't get to do it with my best friend which kind of sucked but I still can't wait to go with her next time she's here.

I was able to slow down and watch the bees lacadaisicaly buzzing from one flower to another, spreading pollen with each landing, the koi fish were beautiful and seeing them hungrily snapping at the dragonflies that came to close to the water, they missed every attempt while I was there but it was still cool to watch. I got to stop in awe at each new flowers appearance, from the blues and greens to the oranges, yellows and reds, and the whites look like they had been hand painted the purest white to match the clouds lazily drifting over head.

I enjoyed these things so much and today was so close to perfect, again missing my best friend, and it was a reminder that I should take things slow and enjoy the details. I hope each and every person had a good weekend and took some time to enjoy something you love.
