Wanted to make a liiiittle update since I had planned to resume posting in January but it didn't shake out. Will be resuming posting here (for real) in February, but after I post the overdue Spotlight, I'll be switching up to an every-other-week schedule. :-) On the off weeks that polls & spotlights aren't posted, I'm gonna devote those Sundays to designing at least 1 new line ^^ Have gotten to the point in the dex where it's taking me much longer to design new 'mons, because I don't have immediate strong ideas in mind, so I have to play with multiple concepts before I'm satisfied. Think this schedule will be good for keeping me working on both further developing the guys I've already designed, as well as continuing to fill out the dex behind the scenes. Still happy to answer asks, post little doodles, and keep posting some of those fusions I still have in my askbox, so hopefully the blog won't feel too dead on the off weeks. Thanks all for hangin' around and enjoying my project!

I only have like. 5 random slivers from 5 random chapters so far? anf I NEED TO KEEP GOING but my hand is going to melt. I will fix and edit it to coherence later. right now I know how these random sequences in the story are going to go exactly and I need to get them down before they're gone forever. also I'm sure they'll connect at some point I'm sure theres some actual plot here I'm just fumbling through the rough blocky shapes of the base coat of paint here

In honor of Javert's Death Day-- here's a fanfic I wrote a few months ago! A new chapter may come soon.

"Jean Valjean, exhausted from the barricades and the sewer, somehow finds the strength to drag Javert out of the Seine. He has no strength left for anything else. The situation rapidly devolves into tragicomedy.

Inspired by a tumblr post from @Alicedrawslesmis:

“Oh god can you imagine Valjean having to jump into the Seine to get Javert out? the man has had No sleep for the past idk 40 hours and just had to crawl through 5 miles of sewer carrying a dead body and thinks he’s going to lose everything to the law and then this fucking asshole jumps off a bridge? and he has to jump after him? and swim like an olympic athlete against the current to get the guy out of the water from the rapids? that’s too much. That’s just god fucking with him at this point.

Valjean pulls Javert out of the water and passes out from the exhaustion of the last two days and Javert is like ’…great. Now I have to drag this man back to his apartment AGAIN’ but Javert is also exhausted from the last two days so it’s just a comedy of errors”

lil update i guess for now LMFAO

i have. some of the goldie lore rewrite done. and i’ve started a little bit of the ling lore too. HOWEVER do not look at the about page yet because i decided i’m gonna make a custom page for the “beginning” lore (aka the sun and moon and the rebis and chaos and truth as like. the Cycle before anything in goldie’s lifetime) but it’s currently all like. In there with the unfinished goldie lore.

i might keep my thread with quen as my only active one for a lil bit until i finish, and once it’s all done i’ll make a starter call!

(i think. if work doesn’t swamp me as soon as i’m off shadowing and get put on my own. We’ll See.)
