So the new chapter just dropped and it’s finally revealed what drove Beel and Egyn apart

It’s over barbecue?!? Beel just loves barbecue so much ?!?? Which is adorable and pretty hilarious but also no wonder why he’s literally going to war for it, if his love for it split him and his brother apart then he’s more than obsessed with it

So they really do have Baal dinner parties on the regular. Yeah those are obviously parties out of hell, but I would not want to be around when they start fighting. They more than likely have Greek god tier squabbles and I would not want to get caught in the crossfire and turned into a bug or whatever, all because someone was served fish and their sister thought that was gross 💀

The beginning of the end of their sibling bond </3 (also thank you Kato for the crumb of Mephisto we got <3 love to see him being so fancy <3 and his dark suit is so dapper <3) But the way Egyn immediately thought of Iblis is so funny and cute. “OH a barbecue contest ?!??? My big sister would be SO good at that, she’s the King of Fire so I just know she would roast meat so well!!!”

I love to see Iblis being an overbearing big sister to Egyn. Also she’s so pretty <3 love the dress. But I get why this would upset Beel since her overprotective behavior makes it too easy for the Egyn to hide behind her. This seems to be a long point of contention between the two especially since Beel is much more assertive than Egyn. Plus while they’re both very childish even by Demon King standards (and tbh all of the Demon Kings are pretty childish), they get treated very differently by the siblings they’re closest to. It’s been shown in the past that Mephisto holds Amaimon accountable for his actions to the point of harshly abusing/punishing him. I imagine he has done similarly with Beel, even if perhaps not as often due to his soft spot for cuteness. So all that to say that maybe Beel has resentment and jealousy towards Egyn for his bond with Iblis?

Also damn :/ Egyn and Iblis were actually really really close… and he does care about all of his siblings. Iblis was probably the same too. Sucks that she’s dead bc it would have been nice to see more of their sibling relationship. Even if most demon emotions are either watered down or intense, so many of their bonds seem to be based in conditional “love”. It would be nice to see more of how they interact with each other

Overall good chapter, I love to see the family dynamics between the Baal. PLEASE Kato, let us see more human aspects of the demon kings !
