Un grupo 'hacker' bloquea durante horas las páginas web de bancos españoles

El grupo NoName57 realizó un ataque de denegación de servicios a entidades como Bankinter, Abanca, Grupo Caja Rural y Banco Cooperativo

Día tenso en los equipos de ciberseguridad de los bancos españoles. Un elevado número de entidades fue objeto este jueves de un ataque coordinado de un grupo hacker prorruso, NoName057. Según anunció en redes sociales este grupo, y confirmó este medio, se trató de un ataque de denegación de servicio (conocido como DDos, por sus siglas en inglés) en el que se llegaron a bloquear durante horas algunas de las páginas web y aplicaciones móviles de los bancos.

Aun así, desde los bancos se��alan que los problemas fueron puntuales y no afectaron a todos los clientes. Remarcan además que no hubo ningún tipo de robo de información de clientes, el único objetivo era sobrecargar los servidores con millones de conexiones para inutilizar sus páginas web.

Entre las instituciones y bancos atacados figuran el Banco de España, CaixaBank, Bankinter, Abanca, Banco Cooperativo, Caja Rural de Granada, Grupo Caja Rural y Ruralvía, según información recabada por las propias entidades.

Este tipo de ataques son habituales en el sector, aunque no de forma tan coordinada y con tanta virulencia, sostienen las fuentes consultadas. "Desde marzo de 2022, este grupo [por NoName057] ha llevado a cabo ataques masivos de denegación de servicios (DDoS) principalmente contra entidades gubernamentales europeas e infraestructuras críticas. Hasta el punto de centrar sus acciones en realizar campañas contra Ucrania y los países europeos que apoyan al Gobierno ucraniano", explican desde la firma de ciberseguridad BeDisruptive.

Su general codirector, Álex Aliaga, explica que el motivo podría ser "el reciente anuncio del envío de cuatro carros de combate Leopard a Ucrania", ya que estos grupos suelen reaccionar a noticias de países en apoyo del país en guerra.

Estos expertos explican que hay distintos métodos para evitar que estos ataques bloqueen las páginas web, como la creación de redes que desvían las solicitudes de acceso irregulares y la opción de anular el acceso de tráfico de fuera de España. Aun así, muchos de estos grupos de hackers usan cuentas espejo para esquivar estos controles.

Junto a los ataques de denegación de servicios, estos grupos han acelerado en los últimos años el robo a clientes de bancos a través del phishing (obtención irregular de datos de los usuarios), con métodos cada vez más sofisticados. Recientemente, también hubo rumores de un ataque coordinado a nivel global contra el código Swift/BIC, la clave de bóveda sobre la que descansa el sistema financiero internacional. Finalmente, no llegó o no fue efectivo.

Los grandes bancos y otras empresas del Ibex, así como el Gobierno, están alerta ante una posible oleada de ataques en los próximos días a las puertas de las elecciones del domingo.

I spent the next month selling off my furniture and other junk, and I put Roxidoo in my car and we moved to Vancouver Island. I had no plan. I had no job. I just went. . I had to EMBRACE UNCERTAINTY. . I had to take a chance, jump in with both feet, not caring what anyone else thought, and not knowing what was on the other side. After taking some time to think about how to proper analyze what it takes for indie creatives to establish a core audience, I think about a major corporation @apple who has successful done this with their consumer products. I personally have been an Apple product consumer since around 2010 and what was crystal clear to me is the way that they created consumer/brand loyalty from early on with the creation of their computer and mobile devices. They always are creating products that appeal to a creative consumer or end user that ultimately solves a problem and that creates a satisfying experience. Apple would create new updated versions of their products (with sometimes subtle changes or even big changes) that may have caused significant price increases but ultimately their consumer wouldn’t mind because at the end of the day they were often times game changers in the marketplace because of how distinctive and disruptive they would be in aiming to solve a particular problem within their desired demographic.
