Lu makes excellent time, however, and it is with a small twinge of guest-guilt that she wheels the car into his drive a good twenty minutes before their agreed on time. She supposed she could wait in the drive until he came home from work, enjoy the sunshine and windy coolness of a northern state in late August, she doesn’t know the town and she doesn’t feel like exploring.
The plan fails right away as upon turning into his drive she sees the garage is open, and having intruded this confidently so far, she shuts off the engine and steps out of the car right as Benny Demarco slithers his jean clad self out from under his pristine red corvette in absolute surprise.
Her first thought is how healthy he looks. Here in the fresh air, skin glowing and cheeks back to a healthy fullness, and it all contrasts so strongly to his state of undress, ratty shirt undone and a sweat soaked singlet— it’s entirely like the stalag and yet, it’s not. And Lu allows herself a self soothing catalog of the improvements peacetime has made in Captain Demarco.

Hellowww, love your writing.
I can't stop thinking about reader being tuned on by Ethan being such a nerd, like every time he says something smart or dorky she just wants to jump his bones.
a/n: since I’ve been so obsessed with the concept of my bully!reader, I decided to make her in this one. Final request that has pretty Ethan header because it consumes a lot of time and I can’t get them out quick.
not proofread
Ethan turns you on in the weirdest ways…
Ethan is always telling you some random nerdy thing that you didn’t even ask about but sometimes relates to what your speaking of, he blames his quick thinking and apologises when you mock him for it, what he doesn’t know is that… it’s attractive, in a way.
You don’t know where your fondness for nerds started, but it surely seems a lot more noticeable when he’s a sound, sure, you make fun of him and you curse him out but there’s always times that you find yourself biting down on your pen, slowly getting more interested in what he’s saying, it’s weird…
“I can’t believe his head exploded like — why would he take off his spacesuit?” You comment about a recent movie you’ve seen, completely disgusted by it, you sit down on your chair, Ethan, who’s sitting on the desk besides you, can’t help but listen it.
“You know… that’s actually not true.” He points out.
Your frown, turn to him with a scoff. “What?”
“Your head wouldn’t explode if you.. took off your suit.”
“What the hell are you talking about?”
“It wouldn’t, it’s impossible.” He mutters. “You would just… go blind from the blood vessels in your head popping, then you’d slowly freeze and —“ he keeps speaking, your eyes go down to his lips, you can’t even remember what you were talking about in the first place. “You’d asphyxiate.”
Your lips are lightly parted, he thinks you’re confused but you aren’t, you’re just in a very.. very light transe from what he just said, eyes focused on his before he speaks up.
“S — Sorry.” He fiddles with his pen, sighing.
“Uhm…” you chuckle, almost if not believing him. “how do you… how do you even know that?”
“I… read a lot of books, google things often…” he swallows hard, nervous of your reaction.
“‘Course you do.” You mock, crossing one leg over the other. “Tell me, E, what other facts do you know?”
It’s the first time you really do seem interested in what he has to say without making fun of him and Ethan takes advantage of it, he starts rambling about some geek movie stuff, something that you quickly start ignoring once you feel heat pooling down your stomach, it’s unlike you, it’s unlike him to be seducing you — if he’s even doing so — but it just works so well, and after a matter of minutes, you’re not sure what you’re even staring at.
Somehow, Ethan notices it, this time, it’s going to be him who teases you.
“Got it?” He raises one eyebrow, tries to hide back the smirk on his face.
“Y — Yeah, totally.” You swallow. “But it was so hard to, I was getting distracted by all your geeky stuff, I mean shit’s so boring.”
Ethan chuckles, and it’s the first time he’s ever laughed at you, in your face. “For someone who’s so smart, you don’t seem to have a lot of brains when I’m talking.”
“What?”
“Just saying, you’re.. so dull when you’re talking to me.” He points out.
“The hell does that mean?”
“Nothing, I just… I just think maybe you’re not so truthful about your hate towards me…”
You scoff, as if you don’t believe him, deep down, you know he’s probably right, but you’ll deny it.
“What? You think I find you hot or something? Get a grip, nerd, I wouldn’t like you even if you were born again.” You scoff, so upset that you stand, grab your things and leave.
Ethan know he should be offended, but he really can’t be anything other than glad when he sees the look on your face as you walk away.

Bucky Barnes x teacher reader
Warnings: AANGST Arguments, mean Bucky, break up, make up, fluffff
listen, don’t eat me alive for this, I’ve been craving some angst (with a happy ending), the type that makes my chest itch so here we are. If this is too toxic for you and you only live for sunshine and rainbows and perfect communication, then this is not the fic for you. He gets mean because that’s what I wanted. So mean. I wanted to feel physical pain while reading. But then my hamster brain got exhausted to write more groveling. So don’t come at me about “she shouldn’t have taken him back, he should’ve begged and groveled more” He groveled.
-
You sighed, rubbing sleep away from your eyes, trying to get them to focus on the time on the clock.
2:57 AM
You stretched out some of the kinks from your neck after falling asleep on the couch, reaching for your phone and squinting at the bright screen, all your calls and texts left unanswered. He didn’t respond to one. You sat up hearing the lock click open, some of your anxiety melting away hearing the thud of his bag hit the floor.
“Bucky?”
“Yeah” He toed off his boots and shrugged off his jacket, heading straight for the bedroom without even looking your way, his shoulders heavy from exhaustion. You followed him to your shared bedroom, taking his bag from him and unpacking it while he stripped his clothes off getting ready to take a shower.
“What time did you guys get back?”
“Couple hours ago” He grunted, tossing his clothes into the hamper, heading to the bathroom and clicking the lock shut. You blinked, slightly taken aback by his coldness but it wasn’t like you hadn’t seen this side before. Bucky had improved a lot with his stress and how he handled missions but ones that involved casualties or hydra would pull him into deep waves of despair, holding him down till he nearly drowned.
You swallowed the uneasiness that crept up your spine; now wasn’t the time to ask him why he hadn’t let you know he was back safe or why he had ignored all your messages. He would have been busy with reports and right now he was drained. You went to grab his Henley and some boxer briefs, laying them out on the bed for him as soon as you heard the water shut off. He emerged out with his towel wrapped around his waist, water still dripping from his short locks while you grabbed his clothes, handing it to him before he went to the closet.
“Here, I already got them out of the closet”
He half mumbled in response, pulling his clothes on and falling into bed, snoring as soon as his head hit the pillow. You weren’t a fan of him sleeping with wet hair, grabbing a dry towel and gently patting his hair as best as you could without waking him. He mumbled something again, pulling the sheet higher on himself and tucking himself further away from you, unbothered with his still semi damp hair. You jolted at the sound of your phone buzzing, Sam’s caller ID lighting up the screen.
“Hey Sam”
“Big guy get home alright?”
“He did, why?”
“Hm” You could hear the hesitation in his voice, “He’s been pretty out of it these past few missions, probably because he’s exhausted. Tony’s told him to sit out a couple of them but he’s there anyway. Stubborn as hell”
“He really is” You shook your head, frowning at his sleeping form. Usually you found his stubbornness endearing but not when it was taking a toll on his health.
“We uh...” Sam paused again, contemplating on if he should tell you his next words, deciding facing Bucky’s wrath would be better than losing him all together. “I know he’ll kick my ass for telling you this but we nearly lost him today”
Your mouth dried up, heart rapidly hammering against your ribcage. You couldn’t get any words out to acknowledge what he’d just said but you heard him loud and clear.
“Oh”
“It’s a lot, I know. Maybe talk to him. He’s getting reckless, it’s going to get him killed. We’ve tried talking to him but you know how-”
“Yeah” You blurted out, your mind now racing along with your heart, your body feeling hot. You could feel your anxiety sky rocket at the thought of Bucky endangering himself, never coming home to you again. The way your bed would feel empty. The way your soul would leave along with him. You couldn’t speak anymore, humming and mumbling the rest of the conversation. “Thanks Sam”
You slipped under the covers, sleep not taking over as easily. Your anxiety at an all time high. Bucky used to text you as soon as he got back. Not a single one of your calls would be left unanswered. Running to you the second the jet landed. He’d never leave your side, taking you into the shower with him and making love to you till the sun came up with endless cuddles afterwards. Even after some of his darkest missions, he’d search for you eventually, seeking your comfort and warmth.
Now?
Nothing.
You groaned hearing the alarm go off, forcing yourself out of bed and going through your routine, getting ready for work and packing your things for the day. Your movements were shaky, the conversation with Sam screaming in your head while you poured some coffee and got started on breakfast. You wanted to scream and cry so badly but you couldn’t. It wouldn’t be a productive conversation when Bucky was like this anyway. You ended up running on autopilot, thinking about the lessons you’d teach for the day, supplies you still had to order for the classroom, the nagging parent that wanted to arrange a meeting after school. Bucky trudged into the kitchen a few minutes after you, setting on a bowl of cereal, his eyes sullen from a lack of proper sleep.
“Can I make something for you?” you tested the waters to gauge his mood though you could see from his face he was still mentally elsewhere. He shook his head, huffing in frustration when the utensil drawer jammed, squeezing his eyes shut to collect himself before trying to open it again.
“Sweetheart, let me get that for you” You set down your things, realizing that his exhausted state made his patience wear thin.
“It’s fine” He tried to push the frustration he felt down, his teeth gritted as spoke, yanking at the drawer once more.
“It’s probably stuck, just pull it slowly-”
“I said I got it”
“But-”
“I’m not one of your fucking students!” He stated louder than necessary, pulling the drawer out with more force than he intended, all the contents inside crashing and clanking to the floor. You yelped in surprise, ignored the shakiness you started to feel coursing through your body, stepping towards Bucky instead, your heart breaking over how lost and worn out he looked.
“Baby I didn’t say that-
“Why the fuck do you treat me like a child then?! Taking out my clothes, drying my hair, making my breakfast, texting and calling 100 times when I’m away. Do I look like I’m incapable of taking care of myself?” He spat, taking a step back from you when you tried to reach out from him, his brows furrowed, blue eyes glaring at you. You couldn’t help but let your anger bubble over, how dare he yell at you when he was the one carelessly putting his life at risk at risk on a daily basis.
“Honestly?!” Your composure started to crumble, your eyes boring into his sleep deprived face, “From where I’m standing, it doesn’t look like it”
Bucky let out a humorless laugh, scoffing while you continued to stare at him. He slammed the drawer shut, not bothering to pick up what had fallen as he started to walk away from the kitchen and back to the bedroom.
“Fuck this, I don’t need this” He shook his head while you followed him, going straight to the closet to grab his duffle bag he took for overnight missions.
“What exactly do you not need” You tried to take a deep breath in, not wanting to upset him more when he wasn’t in a good state of mind.
“You”
Oh.
“I don’t need you or your coddling” He started to grab handfuls of his clothes, shoving them haphazardly in his bag. “It’s suffocating y/n”
You watched him in silence, squeezing your nails into your palms, desperately trying to hold it together while he continued to pack the few belongings he had.
“Having someone constantly nag you about your whereabouts, doubt if you can even take care of your basic needs. Its-it’s just exhausting”
You swallowed away the tightness that constricted your throat, not wanting to aggravate him further even though your own emotions were now thrown for a loop. This wasn’t him, this wasn’t your Bucky.
“James, all you had to do was just tell me you were safe, you used to answer your messages, I worry about y-
“Well don’t! Because I don’t worry about you. Alright? There. That’s why I don’t message”
You wordlessly stared at him, your mouth dry as if you’d swallowed cotton. Your chest felt like you had been hit by a truck, feeling pain on the inside as your heart strings snapped one by one each time he spoke.
“I don’t message because I don’t care. When I come back I just-I just want to be left alone. That's why I spend so much time at the compound after. I don’t exactly feel like rushing home”
You wanted to bite your tongue, walk away but the words were falling from your mouth before you could stop yourself.
“Clearly you don’t care! Is that why the fuck you take on so many missions when you’re clearly worn the fuck out? Are you trying to get yourself killed?”
“Don’t tell me how to do my job” Bucky growled while you willed yourself to not let him see you cry, your eyes betraying you as tears welled in your lash line.
“It’s not doing your job if you’re dead Bucky!” Hot tears were now rolling down your cheeks, any resolve you previously had thrown out the door.
“You don’t know anything” Bucky shook his head, scoffing and pushing past you while you pathetically trailed behind him, unable to stop this train wreck of an argument.
“What?”
He finally turned to face you, dropping his bag in the living room, his sullen eyes daring you to try and stop him from leaving. You were about to open your mouth to speak but he cut you off.
“What the fuck do you know y/n, you get to go in every morning, coddle some children for 8 hours, then you come back home, fucking try and do the same shit with me after like you have nothing better to do, too stupid to realize I can take care of myself. Why would I need you? Huh? Tell me” He challenged, the rational side of his brain kicking and screaming at him to stop but he was too far gone, too deprived of everything to stop the venom he was spitting. “I don’t need you. I don’t fucking want you”
“Th-that’s how you feel?” Bucky blinked at the sound of your voice cracking, though his ego and anger at the rest of the world not letting him back down. He shrugged, his stomach now churning over your stoic expression but your eyes giving away how much he was hurting you. “Fine”
You didn’t move a muscle as he grabbed his bag and headed out the door, slamming it shut behind him. Every single fiber in your body wanted to crumble to the floor, wishing it would swallow you whole. You pushed back all the emotions that wanted to crash all over the floor, shakily packing your things up and rushing out the door, hoping your little ones would distract you enough to get through the day.
If anything they made it worse.
Every one one of your students knew something was off, seeing right past the smile you had plastered onto your face, doing your best to appear normal. You fought off tears as your third graders quietly made you cards to make you feel better during their recess time, a few of them even leaving portions of their snack on your desk, hoping it’d make you smile. You avoided reading any of the sweet little notes, knowing you’d break down into sobs if you read them.
As soon as you got home, all your pent up sadness turned into rage. Angry tears streamed down your face as soon as you locked the door shut, the soft scent of home, of your Bucky now made your stomach turn. You hated that the whole place suffocated you with him, pictures of you both, his records and books on the shelves, a Henley on the couch. The kitchen was no better, plums on the counter, his favorite coffee in the cupboard, a Captain America mug still in the sink.
You desperately wanted to shower and crawl into bed but the shared bedroom was the worst of all. You couldn’t stand to be in the space where his clothes were, the sheet still lingering with his soft scent that used to make you feel safe and remind you of home. You didn’t even realize you had broken down into sobs on the floor, all the pent up emotions you had kept in you spilling out all at once.
The last thing you wanted to do was coddle and suffocate Bucky, his words echoing in your head.
I don’t message because I don’t care
What do you know, y/n?
I don’t need you.
I don’t fucking want you.
Fine.
-
Bucky wasn’t sure what he was expecting when he got home, blinking at the dark house, usually you’d leave at least one light on. He had made it clear he was leaving, he couldn't expect you to be waiting at the front door with open arms. He stood for a moment, wondering if you had perhaps gone to bed early but it was eerily quiet. He didn’t like the cold silence that greeted him, it didn’t take him long to realize you weren’t there.
Yet there was an inkling of hope that maybe. Just maybe you were somewhere around.
“Y/n?”
Nothing.
He made his way right to the bedroom, only to be met with more cold silence. Bucky’s mind swirled, regret, guilt and shame constricting his neck once again. As soon as he had walked out, he wanted nothing more than to run back into the house and take it all back, tell you he didn’t mean a word of what he said. He wanted to scoop you in his arms and beg for forgiveness and shower you with love for the way you cared about him so much. He let his feet carry him away instead, not being able to think straight, frustration and pain feeding the caged monster he unleased on you.
The last person that deserved it.
Where had you gone?
Did it matter?
He paced around the room; none of your things were out of place but it was too late for you to have gone on a walk or to grab food. He couldn’t look at himself in the mirror, feeling nothing but disgust with himself, the image of your sweet fallen face burned in his mind. How could he push away the one person who cared enough to take care of him so tenderly. So gently. So lovingly.
And to say he didn’t care? Or worry?
How could he let those words fall from his lips when you were the reason he stayed alive. It took everything in him to not smash the first thing that came into his hand, of all the reckless and careless things he had done in this life, this was the worst. This hurt more than anything Hydra had put him though. He almost wished they’d take him away again, wipe his memories, wipe away the sound of your voice cracking, wipe away the way you’d softly call for him. Wipe away the feel of your soft hands touching him and soothing him when he couldn't sleep-
Wipe everything away because he was selfish.
Unable to exist with he guilt of knowing he’d hurt you so much.
His hands were working faster than his brain could comprehend, calling the first person he could think of, desperate to know you were at least okay and alive before he purged the city to look for you.
“Nat-”
“She’s here” Nat deadpanned, cutting the call immediately after. He knew by her tone of voice, there would be no point in trying to call back. He had no right to see you. No right to come and ask for you to come back. He had no right for anything yet he had already broken off into a sprint. He made it very clear he didn’t want you, very clear you meant nothing, very clear he was the most fucked up idiot in the world, completely undeserving of your love.
But he was selfish.
He loved you.
Bucky didn’t waste a second, hopping onto his motorbike and speeding off to the compound, bounding to the elevators and immediately to Nat’s door. He barely raised his hand to knock, the red head reluctantly opening the door to a disheveled Bucky.
“She doesn’t want to see you”
“Nat, please-
“Barnes. She doesn’t want to see you” She threw in with a shrug, her green eyes challenging him to argue back.
“I want to see her” His voice was small, hopeful, only to be met with a scoff and eyeroll, the assassin stepping out of the room and gently shutting the door behind her.
“So you can tell her you don’t want her?” Nat crossed her arms while Bucky felt his insides crumble more, his own words taunting him.
“She told you?”
“Not much because even now, she’s more worried about you instead of how you treated her” Nat glared at the super solider as he hung his head, knowing damn well he had already been spiraling for weeks, his explosion a result of pent up pain and stress left undealt with. “Y’know you could’ve lost it on one of us but not her, she’s always been there for you in ways no one else could”
Bucky felt his throat tighten, unable to get any words out as he silently nodded and made his way to a different floor to sleep in a guest room. Of course he didn’t sleep, tears staining the pillow, struggling to keep his sobs down. He spent the rest of the night all the way till morning pacing up and down the hall instead, waiting for you to wake up, ignoring the glare Nat gave him when she saw him sitting on the floor outside of her room. As soon as the door clicked open again, Bucky scrambled to his feet, rushing to your side.
“Y/n-
“Don’t”
You couldn’t bare to look at him, turning on your heel with your bag slung over your shoulder. Bucky reached for your wrist, weakly grasping it, the undeserving inkling of hope he had slowly dissolving when he felt your muscles tense.
“I’m sor-
“I said don’t. I don’t want to hear it” You shook your head, tugging your hand away and continuing down the hall while Bucky trailed behind you like a puppy.
“Angel, angel please wait!” He caught up with you, moving to block your path, but you shoved his chest, pushing him aside, gritting you teeth together till you made it outside. You would not let him see you break twice.
“No”
“Angel, I-I need-”
“You made it very clear you don’t need much. I’m not something you need” You cut him off before he could finish, unable to shake off the way the words he cut you deep, tangled around you like barbed wire. Your words cut him right back, his chest filling with even more guilt and regret.
“That’s not true baby” His voice trembled, looking at your tear stained cheeks and puffy face. He’d never forgive himself over the pain he’d caused you, itching to pull you in his arms but how could he when he made you cry in the first place.
“Don’t call me that” You scoffed, feeling your throat tighten, your vision cloudy with fresh tears. You kept your eyes trained towards the elevator, hoping to escape before the damn broke.
“But you are”
“No, I’m not” You shook your head, “You can get the rest of your things today, you won’t have to worry about not rushing home anymore” You didn’t give him a chance to respond, dashing towards the doors as soon as they opened and striding through the compound till you got to your car. The skin on your knuckles was pulled tight as you gripped the steering wheel, breathing slowly till you got home. Everything came crashing down again as soon as you were back in your room; it wouldn’t have hurt this much if you didn’t actually love him
But you did.
-
Bucky looked defeated as the elevator doors closed, his heart breaking further when you didn’t spare him a second glance. He didn’t bother wiping away the tears that were now streaming down his face as he made his way back to the guest room, ignoring Steve’s concerned glance and slamming the door shut. As expected, there was a knock at the door moments later, blond hair and blue eyes peering inside, unbothered by the death glare Bucky was shooting him.
“You did something” He cocked an eyebrow, looking at his bestfriends guilt ridden face, staring at his feet like an admonished child. Bucky chewed at his lip, figuring there was no point in lying at this point, if anything he deserved the scolding he’d inevitably get.
“I messed up”
“That would appear so” Steve nodded, urging him to continue.
“I said a lot of things”
“You should apologize”
“I can’t apologize for the things I said” Bucky shook his head, his voice trembling again, “I-I can’t just say sorry. It’s been weeks. Weeks of giving her shit. This just- it was too much. Y-you should have seen her face Steve”
Steve remained silent, letting him continue.
“Fuck- I-, y’know she goes as far as drying my hair if I try to sleep while its still damp? Even when it’s late? and she has work the next morning”
“And the problem is? She always takes care of you, I’ve seen it myself”
Bucky scoffed at himself, shaking his head while fidgeting with his hands.
What was his problem.
He had a girl that actually gave a fuck about him, wanting to know if he was safe and loving him enough to take care of him even when he was broken.
“I got mad at her for it” His voice was a whisper, dripping in shame, “She’d waited for me to get home, took care of me and I yelled at her”
“Explain” Steve didn’t like where the conversation was going but he wasn’t about to let Bucky off the hook without finding out exactly what happened. “All of it”
“I-I was tired. I got frustrated when a drawer got stuck and lashed out on her and told her I didn’t want her. Didn’t need her. Had no interest in seeing her. It had already been a long time of me just not seeing or talking to her properly in general”
“Bucky”
“I know” He squeezed his eyes shut, unable to look at Steve’s face. “and a lot of other shit. And I can’t take it back”
“No, you can’t” Steve agreed, much to Bucky’s discontent but again, his best friend wouldn’t lie and he had brought this all on himself. “You actually care about her?”
“I fucking love her” Bucky’s eyes shot up, full confidence in his voice, he, without a single doubt in his soul, loved you completely.
“Then give her time. You hurt her, Buck”
Bucky nodded, hating that he had no choice now but to wait. He quietly collected his things while you were at work, not wanting to torment you further.
-
You hadn’t spoken to Bucky for weeks. Every time your missed him, thought about him, picked up your phone to call and check on him, you remembered what he told you.
He didn’t want you.
You downed another drink, staying tucked away at a booth while Natasha and Wanda went off dancing, the both of them dragging out out of the house, insisting you had to get out. Even after the break up, they remained close to you. No amount of make up could cover the puffiness and redness of your eyes or mask the way your voice was stuffy from nights of crying to sleep but there you were. On your third glass.
“Someone looks happy to be here”
Your eyes searched the crowd for the familiar voice, eventually landing on Sam, his eyebrows playfully wiggling as he slid into your booth. You relaxed when you saw he hadn’t come with Bucky but you knew based off his face, there was something on his mind.
“I think you both should talk”
There it is.
“There’s nothing to talk about” You shrugged, swirling your drink around with your straw while Sam sighed.
“You’re both miserable”
“I made him miserable” You countered, nervously fidgeting with your fingers instead.
“You know that’s not true-” Sam started but the scoff you let out let him know that was a pointless road to go down, “Okay fine. Things weren’t great. But it was an abrupt end and he’s been kicking himself and you don’t look like you’re doing so hot either sweetheart”
“Thanks” You deadpanned while he grinned, giving your hand a squeeze.
“He’s really trying for you, y/n” Sam said softly, the playfulness in his voice replaced with sincerity.
“What do you mean?”
“Talk to him”
-
You spent the rest of the week contemplating what Sam said but every time you picked up your phone, you dropped it again. You messages would probably be ignored and he likely hated you even more. Which is why you were curled up on the couch, trying not to think about him, having a night for yourself, hoping not to be tempted with your phone though a soft thump at the door pulled you away from the story. You set down the book you were reading, growing nervous when you heard the sound again. You were sure you were just hearing things but this time it was more clear. The second knock at the door made you blink, curious to know who would come by at this time.
“Bucky?” You gasped, surprised to find him standing on the other side, a small bouquet of flowers in his hand, the stems nearly crushed from how nervous he was, “What-what are you doing here?”
“It’s-fuck, it’s been hell sweets” Bucky whispered, his knees already ready to give way, the smell of home, the sight of you, all making him feel overwhelmed. “Hell knowing I hurt you”
You stepped aside to let him in, not wanting to keep him in the hallway. Bucky stayed rooted in place on the welcome mat, not wanting to cross a boundary if you didn’t want him there. He hesitantly came in when you gave him a small nod, his movements shaky as he toed his boots off and followed you to the living room, the both of you standing in silence.
“You said you didn’t want me” You kept your eyes trained on your feet, tears already threatening to spill over, you could feel the warmth of his body with how close he was, smell the scent of his laundry detergent, his cologne, the leather of his jacket.
“How could I not want you sweets, you’re one of the reasons I’m alive-”
“Didn’t seem that way”
“I know baby, but-”
“Don’t call me that James” You shook your head, your heart twisting hearing his pleading voice, the sweet names he had for you making you weak.
“No” Bucky shook his head as he felt his stomach drop at the sound of his name coming from your mouth, he despised it, hated it, “ m’not James, m’your Bucky, your Jamie, your baby, please-”
“You’re not a lot of things” You tried to keep your voice steady but it was already beginning to crack, your nails digging into your palms to keep from pulling him into you when he stepped closer.
“I’m sorry”
You remained silent, swallowing the lump that made your throat tighter, your vision blurry.
“I’m so sorry doll, please?”
You could hear the quiver in his voice, now barely a whisper, the sniffle between his words making your lip tremble.
“Please?”
The soft sob that slipped past your lips at his pleading voice broke Bucky, his legs giving way, desperate to take away everything he did to hurt you. He was on his knees, his face buried in your tummy, his tears soaking your shirt. His cries were muffled as he tried to burry his face in further, desperately clinging onto you while you hesitantly brought a hand to card through his hair.
“Why” You still felt like you had so many things left unanswered.
“It was never you baby” Bucky kept himself hidden from you, his arms hugging you tightly while continuing to rest against your stomach. “I-I kept everything inside and it spilled onto you, I don’t have the words- M’selfish baby. I’m so selfish because I want you, I want to love you, I want everything you give me, I miss you, I missed you, I shouldn’t have walked out, m’sorry”
You hummed, petting his hair softly, the simple action causing him to feel even more emotional.
“Please, wanna be your Bucky, please, I’m sorry doll” He nervously tilted his face up, his chin still pressed against your stomach, tears streaming down his cheeks. You placed your hand on his scruffy cheek, which he instantly leaned into, your thumb swiping away his tears.
“I-I’m scared” You said truthfully, every single fiber in your body wanting to pick him up and cling onto him forever but you were nervous. He walked out once...
“I’ll give you all the space you need. Just please give me another chance, it doesn’t have to be today or soon, just- I promise I’ll do better doll”
You nodded, taking his hand in yours to pull him to his feet, letting him sit on the couch with you. Bucky placed the flowers he was till clutching onto on the coffee table before sitting beside you, mindful to keep some space in between.
“I-I told Tony to pull me out of missions”
“What?”
Bucky nodded with a small smile, it was the first thing he did when he realized he had to take care of himself first before coming back to you. You’d done enough of picking up his broken pieces.
“The missions weren’t good for me. Too many, a lot of them triggering. I needed to pull back but I kept going. Didn’t stop until I ended up hurting you. Figured it was time I spoke up. Even started to see a therapist”
“You did?” You couldn’t help but inch closer to him, knowing exactly how much he struggled with opening up.
“I did it for me so I could be better for you” Bucky stated honestly; he made the choice to better himself because that’s what you deserved. “You don’t have to take me back right away-
“Come back home” You whispered, meeting his eyes with your teary ones, you’d take it slow if you had to but you wanted to do it with him by your side.
“Are you sure?” Bucky’s heart hammered out of his chest, not wanting to get his hopes up or make you feel like he was pressuring you, “I’ll wait if you need more time-”
“Come back home” You cut him off, biting your lip to keep from crying again, clawing into his lap, his arms engulfing you into a tight hug while you clung onto him, burying your face into his neck. He smelled like love, home, your heart. The feel of his arms wrapped around you made you feel safe and whole again.
“Come home, Bucky” You hugged him tighter while he pulled away, his hands moving to cup your cheeks.
“Bucky?” He whispered, having missed the way his name sounded, the softness of your voice, the way you fit with him.
“My Bucky” You nodded, letting your forehead rest against his, pressing a soft kiss to his nose.
“Jamie?”
“My Jamie”
“Baby”
“My baby”
“M’never leaving again, angel”

Up until she almost collapses from how sick she is? Which makes Matt worry and get all protective of y/n. And he ends up just taking care of her, getting medicine, snacks, and of course cuddles, cuddles, cuddles.
Btw I LOVE your writing, it’s so good!
Cough Drops
Pairing: Matt Sturniolo X Female Reader
Synopsis: Y/N figures out she might have the flu, but feels bad having Matt worry about her; so she keeps it on the low. This is until she almost faints…
Warnings⚠️: NONEEEE, kind of short?? cute little Matt moment. Plus IM BACKKKKK
Song for the imagine: How To Fight Loneliness- Wilco
How to fight loneliness?
Smile all the time
Shine your teeth till meaningless
And sharpen them with lies
My hearing went in and out as my breathing began to shallow. My eyes were glued shut as I tried to focus on anything else other than the way I was feeling right now.
My body was aching as I involuntarily shuttered here and there. My teeth chattering together as I tucked my hands into the sleeves of my hoodie.
Matt and his brothers were at my house to hang out which I didn’t mind but right now I needed my bed and a thick warm blanket. My head began to pound about an hour ago, and up until now I didn’t want to take any medicine.
Reluctantly I got up from my couch and swore I almost passed out, but I shook those feelings away.
“You okay baby?” Matt asked looking back at me
“Ugh yeah I’m okay my head just hurts” I replied smiling at him
“Are you sure? You look a bit pale” he said looking at my face
“I think I’m just super exhausted from this weekend” I replied
“We can leave and you can rest” he said and his brothers nodded their heads
“Noo don’t worry I’m okay” I said shaking my head
He nodded at me and I walked to my kitchen, opening the cabinet and taking out two extra strength Tylenols. I popped them in my mouth and washed them down with water from the sink.
Suddenly I sneezed and I tried to mask it by turning the sink back on. Luckily they didn’t hear it so I shut the water off and grabbed my thermometer. Placing it in my ear and waiting for the beep
I looked down at the temperature 103.2 Fahrenheit. My eyes popped out of my head. I’ve never had a fever this high, and suddenly I began to rack my brain on how I got sick.
Finally I realized I visited my friend last week and the following day she told me she tested positive for the flu. Fuck I thought to myself….. I got the flu….
I walked over to the couch and sat down with a cup of water not really sure what to say, but about 30 minutes later I started to cough.
It was a dry cough, but then I realized my throat began to get scratchy. There was a movie playing so my coughs went unheard.
I hated being sick around Matt because he dropped everything for me. And I appreciated it, but I felt bad he was too good to me.
An hour into the movie I began to feel super weak and nauseous, and it got to the point where the movie and the lights being on was starting to annoy me.
I got up and started to head to my room
“Hey where are you going?” Chris asked me in a playful way
“I think I’m going to lay down my head really hurts” I replied rubbing my temples
“Do you need anything?”chris asked
“No I’m okay” I replied and suddenly I began to cough
“Babe I think you’re sick” Matt said
“No I’m okay I promise, it’s just allergies” I said shaking it off
“Y/N you are so pale right now” Nick said getting worried
“I just….I just need-
Suddenly my hearing began to go out and my vision became tunneled and I couldn’t even focus on what to say. Suddenly my knees buckled and I felt myself getting woozy
Before I could hit the floor Matt ran over and grabbed me
“I got you I got you” he replied lifting me up
“Come on baby” he said and walked me to my room
He laid me down on the bed as I was incoherent and walked out the room.
He came back and sat next to me
“Smell this” he said putting an alcohol soaked pad under my nose
“CHRIS OR NICK BRING ME SOME JUICE FOR HER” he yelled as he turned to look at the door
“You’re coming back to me baby” he said rubbing my hair
“Matt what happened” I said blinking slowly
“You passed out, but you’re okay” he said as I began to sit up a little bit
“Take it easy” he said helping me sit up
Chris and Nick walked in with a cup of juice and gave it to me
“How are you feeling?” Nick asked
“I’m okay, but I think I have the flu. My best friend has it and I saw her last week” I said sipping on the cold drink
“Oh no! Chris and I are going to leave and leave you with Matt” Nick said
“Thank you” I said offering a weak smile
Matt had dropped them home and came back to my apartment.
He was gone for a while so I fell asleep and the sound of my bedroom door woke me up
“Sorry I didn’t mean to wake you” he said coming in
I turned on my lamp and looked at him, giggling
He had a face mask on and had target bags in his hand
“Okay so this is my first time taking care of a sick girlfriend, so I got a lot of shit” he replied placing the bags on my bed
“Matt you don’t have to” I said laughing
“Nooo I want to” he said whining
“I appreciate it” I said taking a sip of the juice on my night stand
“Okay sooo I got cough drops, but different ones for different things, and then I got Vicks tissues because I know you and your Vicks go hand in hand, and I got some Robitussin for severe colds, ummm I got some aguaphor for your lips because I know they get dry when your nose is stuffed. Gatorade, water, soup and I got some snacks you love” he said placing everything on my tv stand
“Matttt thank you I love you” I said getting up
“I love you too, now how are you feeling?” He asked getting concerned
“My body hurts, my throat hurts and my nose is getting stuffed, but I think I broke my fever” I said opening up a bag of cough drops and taking one
“Let me feel your forehead” he said waving be towards him
He placed his hand on my forehead and nodded his head
“You feel normal to me” he said
“Good because I need a shower” I said dragging my feet to my dresser
“You shower and I’ll make some soup and what not” he said walking out my room
After my shower I walked out to Matt sitting on my bed eating soup
“I made your favorite chicken noodle” he said
“Ouu yay” I replied and hopped onto my bed
Enjoying the soup and crackers as we talked
Matt decided to put a movie on, but he sat so far from me
“Come closer” I replied looking at him
“You’re infested” he said cleaning up our dishes
“You’re already exposed we made out this morning” I said rolling my eyes
“Ahhh very true” he said removing his mask and snuggling under the covers
Snaking his arm over my waist as he pulled me in closer as we watched Girl, Interrupted. His fingers played with my hair as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
“Get some rest my love” he whispered before placing a kiss on my temple.
Matt made being sick less insufferable. I laid in his arms with a smile on my face as I dozed off….
The End
YALLL IVE BEEN GONE FOR ALMOST TWO WEEKS. I’m sooo sorry ya girl had Covid, but I’m back and better than ever. I love yall sooo much🥹🖤🖤

Malleus 16
Summary: Class has ended and you’re ready to eat for lunch, but everyone has stopped at the door. Turns out Malleus was there, and he craves affection.
(Wanted to write about kisses. And then Malleus popped into my head. So here you go!)
“Um, hey, Prefect?” Oh, well would you look at that, it’s Deuce speaking up this time, “Can I… copy your notes again? Please?”
“Yeah, I really couldn’t pay attention,” Grim tapped his paws on your desk, like that’ll somehow endear you to him, “besides, the board is so far away.”
You and your group are two seats away from said board.
“Yeah, come on,” Ace laid an arm across the back of your seat, “do us a solid, yeah? You know you want to. Can’t resist the call of enlightening our tiny little brains.”
“What are you gonna give me?” You closed your notebook just so Ace and Deuce don’t have a chance to look at your notes. “I’ve been saving your asses for the past two weeks. You gotta give me something.”
“Hehe, that’s my minion! If you want a fast pass, you need to give us reparations in tuna!” He cheered, once more using ‘we’ as soon as he thinks he’s getting something.
“You have to pay too, Cat.”
There will be no ‘we’ this time.
“What?! Why?!”
You tried tutoring them in the past but having Ace, Deuce and Grim all in the same room for more than ten minutes always leads to either an argument breaking out, a bunch of whining, or just general chaos because one or more people tried to slip out of trouble.
Yeah, yeah it’s partially your fault for losing patience and just giving up on them, but you’d think they’d at least pay attention long enough to take notes.
They’re right there! On the board!
They have no excuse and they have to at least pay you back for this emotional trouble.
Was this petty? Yes, very. You don’t care right now. You want a treat. Or money. Or both!
“Huh, ah, well,” Deuce got sheepish and reached into his pockets, “I have gum.”
“No.” He has disappointed you. An unworthy treat for your notes.
“How about I only eat three-fourths of your food this time?” Suggested Grim.
“My treat is me giving you more of my food?” And you don’t even give it, he just steals it!
Grim hissed. He was probably hoping you didn’t know fractions. But, good on him for finally learning. Shame his first thought was to try and trick you with it.
“Okay guys, you all know that’s not what the Prefect really wants,” Ace leans in, acting chummy, “how about this?”
You were given one thaumark.
“…”
“Alright listen, I need the rest to buy other things, okay?”
You got up after calmly putting your notes away. “I’m going to get lunch.”
“No wait come back!”
But, as much as you wanted to walk out and sit at the regular table while your friends slowly fill in the seats, the exit to the classroom was blocked by a cluster of murmuring and rather nervous students.
“What’s he doing here?” You heard one whisper.
“Uh, did we do something? Were we too loud?”
“I’m really hungry but…”
You are not in the mood. You tried to excuse yourself as you bumped into shoulders but you had to settle for grumbled apologies instead as you shoved yourself through.
Finally, you popped out of the other side, a little more heated and more irritable.
“There you are, Child of Man,” so goes the voice of Malleus, who stood to the side of the door, waiting. The cause of this blockage, students frozen with only his green-eyed stare. “I was kept waiting quite a while. How bold of you to do this, after the slight you made this morning.”
What?
“Wha?” Your annoyance was momentarily replaced by bafflement, but that quickly went away when your brain caught up to his words. You grumbled, “Oh, come on…”
Yeah, you’re probably not even gonna eat at the cafeteria. You’re just gonna get your food and go hide away somewhere until you cooled down.
Malleus walked forward, the surge of students all taking a collective step back as though his very air could potentially kill them.
“Well? Don’t you remember?” He crossed his arms and you were ready for that high-brow glare that comes with all people of royalty, but instead, you found an exaggerated and childish pout. “You forgot to give me my morning greeting. I felt off the entire morning, unable to focus, because I didn’t have the memory of you kissing my brow fresh in my mind.”
A hush fell over the classroom.
And then a, “Huh?!” shot out of Ace’s mouth.
You snorted, then gave out a hearty chuckle. Once you calmed down, you waved Malleus over.
“Alright, alright, get over here. Let me correct that.”
A laugh rumbled low in his throat as he tilted his head into your hand. Playfully, you lightly pinched his ear, just because his pointy ears always caught your attention. He twitched, breath hitching just the slightest bit, and you couldn’t resist the urge anymore and kissed above his brow.
Malleus’s lashes fluttered open and the sigh that escaped him reminded you of a pure-hearted maiden with a fast-beating heart. And yet, there’s nothing delicate about the way he stood. If anything, the affection flowing through him made his pride more apparent. He practically glowed with that royal grace he was taught to have.
You couldn’t help yourself. You gave him an extra kiss on the corner of his lips. Malleus nearly hissed in a breath as he clamped his hand over your own, his body leaning in closer towards yours, as though he wanted to meld with you.
But, with a chuckle, you pulled away and he had no choice but to let go. Malleus was back to pouting, though this time, cheeks flushed and hair slightly messier than usual. The air around you was slightly charged with wayward magic, causing the hair on your body to stand on end. And his eyes…
Well, whoops.
“Good morning. I’ll see you later, okay?”
Better get out of here before Malleus jumps you right in this hallway.

Something Special
Summary: You've been getting closer to Jay, a wealthy businessman, as you've been booked to sing at multiple events for this business dinner. He invites you as his plus one this time, but you have a song written just for him prepared...
Notes: Some non-sexual works are in order since I haven't released any in a while, so I hope you like it <3
Wordcount: 2.8k
Sitting in a cafe, in a corner seat near the window. You could feel the sunlight shining through the window warming you up from the cold winter air. You came here to find some inspiration for your song. You wanted to write something special for a man who you met here. You could remember the day he walked into the cafe. It was an open mic night, which you went to every single one to practice singing on stage. Most people didn’t really pay attention to you, but one man couldn’t look away from you. It felt like you were singing just to him like the two of you were alone in the room together. That was months ago. The man introduced himself as Jay Park, the CEO of one of the businesses in the area. Some fashion company, and judging from the clothes he was wearing you could tell it wasn’t a lie either… Jay asked if you’d be interested in working a few gigs, promising very generous pay for some classy late-night singer vibes to come to his studio events. The first event was something to remember. It was on a huge stage with a live band. The room was full of people, most of them not really paying attention, the number was enough to even make you want to reconsider performing at all. But Jay spoke to you before the performance, encouraging you, and it turned out to be one of the best nights you’d ever performed.
You scratched your head in frustration, looking down at your notepad. It was full of lyrics from the song you’ve been working on for the better part of two months. You heard that your favorite client liked to have a New Year’s dinner for his company with live music. Meaning that it would be the perfect time to showcase a new song, but nothing seemed to fit the feeling you wanted. Something special…
You heard your phone ringing and answered, “Hello?”
“Hey Songbird, you busy?”
You smiled at the nickname he gave you. “Never too busy for my favorite businessman.”
“Did you eat yet? We could go out to lunch in a bit, my treat!”
“Jay, it’s always your treat when you take me out.”
“Well, I can’t let you pick up the bill. It’s a pride thing, ya know?”
“Pride in what,” you scoffed.
“Pride in knowing I’m taking care of you. I like treating you. And there’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you about too...” Jay’s voice was a little tight like he was nervous about something.
You pretended not to know that he was going to ask you to sing for him. “What’s the occasion, maybe another gig?”
“I did have a gig for you on New Year’s Eve, but I found another singer.”
You hesitated, trying to collect your brain before replying. Your face felt a little warm and your smile faded after registering what he’d said.
Jay broke the silence first, “Not that you’re not an amazing singer, I just figured you’d be a little too busy that night since–”
“I’m super busy actually! I gotta go catch up with another client calling. We’ll get back to this another time, yeah?”
“Y/n?”
You didn’t let Jay finish before you hung up the phone. Your face was hot and getting hotter as you thought more about it. It’s just business with him, so it doesn’t matter to him who he hires for events or whatever. Even giving a courtesy call to tell you not to worry about the event. The nerve of that guy! You look back at your notepad and flip to the next page, writing new lyrics to your song, something to show how you really felt about him.
Jay tried calling again after an hour, even texting you. You decided to mute his number while you were in your creative process. Since he had time to hire another singer because he assumed you were busy, then you were too busy to answer the phone.
Three days had passed since you last spoke to Jay. You were still muting his notifications, but couldn’t help yourself from looking at the texts… It was mostly confusion in the beginning. Then trying to explain something, but Jay seemed apologetic. It had been a while since his last message, which was just, “I’m sorry”. That’s when the guilt started to set in. Were you being too harsh to him? It’s not like it's a contract deal or that he had feelings for you, so it didn’t matter if he hired another singer. But you still couldn’t find out why you got so angry in the first place.
You picked up your phone and called Jay. It rang and rang, but there was no answer. Maybe he moved on after you freaked out and ghosted him… You went back to your notepad, looking at the lyrics you wrote. The new ones were mean and it felt horrible reading what you’d written about him. You ripped out the pages and threw them all away, trying to put that part of yourself aside.
You called his office. His secretary Mrs.R answered. She was an older lady who looked after Jay like she was his mother. She was always willing to speak her mind to her boss, which is why he liked her.
“Hello, Y/n! It’s so good to finally hear from you. Mr.Park has been trying to get in contact with you!”
“I know…” Your throat was so dry, it was hard to speak. “Is he in the office today?”
“Yes, he’s here. He’ll be in meetings for most of his evening. Should I tell him you called?”
You thought about it… “No, I dont want to bother him while he’s at work. I know he’ll cut corners and try to make time to talk to me, I wouldn’t want him to do that.”
“Oh, okay. I would like to ask a question, if I may. What were you planning to wear to the New Year’s Eve dinner? Mr.Park asked me to pick out a suit for him, but I thought it would be best if he matched with you.”
You cocked your head to the side. “Why would he need to match with me?”
“Well, you’re his date, aren’t you?”
“Date!? He didn’t mention anything about that to me.” You tried to think about when he may have asked you.
“He told me he was planning to call you and ask you a few days ago. I told him it’s better to ask in person, so he said he’d invite you to lunch and ask you then.”
You remembered the last time he invited you to lunch… When you hung up on him.
“Actually. Mrs.R, if you could tell him I called. I’d really appreciate it.”
“I’ll let him know right away.”
“Thank you.”
You hung up the phone feeling like an idiot. You kept your phone with you for the rest of the day, checking it constantly, but got nothing from Jay. It was around 11 pm when you really started freaking out. New Year’s Eve was tomorrow and you had no real way of getting to him. You typed out a big paragraph apology to him for not listening to him and begged him to call you.
After a shower to clear your head, your phone rang. You almost fell as you rushed to answer it in time.
“Jay! Look I’m so sorry, I was an idiot for not trying to listen–”
“I’m so sorry dear. I’m not Mr.Park…” You heard Mrs.R’s voice coming out of your phone.
“Sorry… How can I help you, Mrs.R?”
“I was hoping I could drop off this suit for you. I thought you could use it for the event tomorrow.”
“He hasn’t answered me, and I don’t think he will at this rate.” You sighed.
“He’s probably being petty. He’s like that when he’s upset, but I have an idea for you if you’re willing to go through with it.”
Your ears perked at her idea. You gave her directions to your home and she explained her plan about how she wanted you to crash his party to make him see you again. However, she left a lot of things vague with only one thing very clear.
“You can’t talk to him before you get there. If you do, it could potentially give away the plan.” She warned.
You nodded in understanding as you took the bag she brought for you. Inside was the luxury suit, taken from one of the product lines in the company. You walked her to the door and thanked her for helping you, waving her off as she walked back to her car and drove away.
The suit was black with a white button-up, but the fabric was sleek and smooth. Something you’d more likely see Jay wear, but if it was a part of the plan then you knew you had to wear it.
The next morning, you fought the urge to text and call Jay again. It used to talk almost every day, but almost five days of not speaking to him was starting to get to you. That’s when you started getting texts from Mrs.R.
“Okay, first we need to get you into the building undetected. We can’t put you on the guest list as Jay gets a copy of it so he doesn’t forget who’s coming, so we’ll need to sneak you in with the catering business.”
Her plan sounded straight out of a spy movie, but you had no objections. You took your time putting on makeup and the suit, setting your hair right, and plucked your lyric book with you before leaving to head to the location of the party.
Upon arriving, you parked and followed the crowds of people towards the front. Your phone buzzed again.
“The caterers enter from the side entrance, white van. They should be expecting you, so just grab some supplies and help them inside. Once you're in, come find me.”
You texted her back. “Isn’t this a little extra? I could’ve asked him if I could come…”
“Of course it’s extra! He loves this kinda stuff, if you want to show him how serious you are, then you should be extra.”
You sighed as you walked away from the front of the building, to its side, and followed the caterers into the building as they carried in food, utensils, and more. Just as she told you, none of the staff bothered asking who you were. You took a few turns down the several hallways until it opened up into the main ballroom for the event, where you instantly spotted Mrs.R at the reception table.
You rushed over to her, holding an empty tray.
“Mrs.R!”
She smiled as you came over. “Well, who’s this handsome server?”
“So what next in your master plan?”
She took out a sheet of paper. “This is the itinerary. The singer we had was supposed to get here already, but I’ve managed to send them home. Without a singer, Jay will be desperate for a new one. And then that’s when you’ll take the stage. I’ll give you a signal, so hurry and get backstage!”
You didn’t know whether to be shocked or impressed by her control of the whole plan, but you didn’t have time to decide. You rushed backstage, ditching the metal tray somewhere.
A voice came over the speakers, it was Mrs.R! “Ladies and gentlemen. I deeply apologize for the delay on the music, we’ve finally gotten someone who’s ready to give a little ambiance.”
You could see the audience from where you were standing. Jay was sitting towards the front with an irritated look on his face, talking to some other men he was sitting with. The rest of the audience was either eating or talking amongst themselves, which you were used to, but you got the same feeling from your first performance for Jay… Your hands were cold, your stomach churned, and your knees were locking into place.
Mrs.R walked backstage. “Okay, it's your–,” she noticed your stressed expression. “Oh dear, are you so nervous about performing in front of him?”
You shrugged as your mouth wouldn’t open.
“He wants to see you. And I know you want to see him too, I can see it in your eyes. He needs you to be strong right now, so you have to go!” Mrs.R ended her short pep talk by handing you her microphone and giving you a small push toward the stage.
The push was enough to get you to move your feet, and walk onto the stage. White lights shined onto your face, almost blinding you. Some of the audience was hard to see, but you could see Jay. Front and center, still talking. It didn’t seem like he’d noticed you yet.
You positioned the microphone on the stand and nodded to the band to start the first song in the set. You started singing, only looking at Jay. Hoping he’d look back at you…
It was about a minute into the song before he looked at you for the first time in five days. His expression softened and he cracked a smile when he saw you onstage. He nodded his in approval as you sang to him. You went through the first set of the event before being allowed to have a break.
You stepped backstage and Jay met you there.
“You’re here!?” Jay hugged you tightly.
“Y-Yeah… I’m here.” You hugged him back, enjoying every second of him holding you.
Eventually, the two of you separated, and Jay was the first to speak. “Did you get my messages?”
You nodded. “And did you get mine?”
“Of course I did. I tried to call you, but I was in meetings all day and still had preparations for the event. So I didn’t get the chance to call you… And I honestly thought you didn’t want to hear from me anymore.” Jay’s voice was full of relief, and he looked like he could’ve burst into tears at that moment. “Why did you hang up on me that day? I didn’t get to explain myself…”
“I… I felt a bit jealous. And irritated that you didn’t want to ask me if I wanted to sing for your event, and you assumed I was busy–”
“I was going to ask you to be my date at the party. You’d be too busy sitting with me to be on stage singing, is what I wanted to say.” Jay sighed. “I didn’t think you’d get so irritated that you’d hang up before I could give the pickup line.”
You felt more embarrassed hearing him say it. “When you said date, did you mean an actual one? Or just your plus one?”
“I meant, Date,” Jay said flatly. “I wanted tonight to be special, so I could ask you if we could look into something a little… more personal than Singer and Client. I just didn’t really know how to play it.”
“Is that still on the table?” You asked.
“I’m open to negotiations,” he replied smugly.
“Watch it, businessman. I’m not too into contracts.”
“Right, no cages for the Songbird. I remember.”
You blushed at the nickname. “Do you have somewhere a little private? Just us?”
Jay looked around before leading you to an elevator. It was all glass, with a view of the city as it got higher off the ground. He pressed on the 50th floor, letting the elevator rise. Right before the doors opened, he switched the elevator off. “Private enough?”
You looked out at the city lights. “Perfect.” You pull out your notepad from your pocket. “I wrote you a song if you’re willing to hear it…”
Jay leaned against the wall of the elevator. “A private show? I’d love that…” His gaze was locked on you as you prepared yourself in front of him.
You sang Jay the song you’d spent the last two months writing, pouring in everything you’d felt about him. Tell him about the first time you met, your first performance for him, and how he had your heart since that day…
At the end of your song, you saw a firework explode behind Jay. High in the sky. It shined beautiful green and purple colors. You moved closer to see more fireworks.
“Happy New Year, Songbird…” Jay whispered as he held your waist, pulling you close to him. “Do I get a New Year’s kiss too?” Jay spun you around to face him, his face lighting up from the colors of the fireworks. It felt like time had stopped moving as he leaned down to you. He softly placed his lips on yours, drinking your lips under the stars and lights of a new year. A new year together…

for some reason i've had another idea for a request LODGED in my damn brain ever since i wore my platforms the other week: [they are comfy to me, and the heel isn't very high, just the platform adds like- 4inches lol] someone who has tall ass shoes, and nobody notices until they take em off or something and suddenly they're shorter it sounds bad, cause why would someone be wearing platforms, but i swear i can run in em. [took some trial and error though....] also its just really goofy.
No because I'm just as stubborn with platforms the thing that gets you is stairs. I'm not entirely sure if I've mentioned it on here, but I'm a firm believer that Hylians are short. Time is seen as tall because as far as Hylians go? He is Twilight is seen as monsterously tall. Which mixes into your other ask as well - seeing as Time is fairly average height when compared to humans with Twi being tall even to humans (he grew up with humans so he adapted just a lil he's got a much higher milk tolerance sfvgf) but only Twi really knows this seeing as he grew up in ordon with humans and honestly? Means he has a reason to reach out to the reader in the first place, explaining most of the differences he noticed growing up between him and the rest of the villagers It's not the most but really at that point it's helpful to know anything. and it gets him closer to you which is what he really cares about honestly I write the chain as yandere's most of the time really, but this scenario where he's reader's best hope and they naturally get closer to him? I could see it happening really it's because he can't have a repeat of midna someone from another world stealing his heart and leaving him forever ha nope
As for platforms? that'll be fun to explain to them >:) this turned out a little bit more Twi centric than I meant for it to be but it was so fun to write and flowed so naturally !! <33 [masterlist]
“[Name]? We’re about to have breakfast, you’ll probably want to come get some before we leave the inn. Time’s saying that we’re going to be walking a lot today”
“Hm? Yeah I’m coming wild.”
His eyes looked as if they were about to fall out of his head when I opened the door. Is there something off about my appearance? I’ve just woken up I guess so maybe I just look a bit dishevelled, but after travelling with them this long? Would that really be enough to set them off like this?
“You’re shorter! Are you alright? Twi said humans are way different compared to Hylians but I didn’t assume he meant you shrink sometimes! Come on we need to go show them to know if you’re gonna be okay.”
“Wait no wild I-”
There isn’t even time for me to argue my own point with how fast they’re pulling me over to the others, his strength is impressive even for hylians I’ve been told and that isn’t something I’ll argue with. But what is he on about me ‘shrinking’? I haven’t changed height at all… He’s never seen me without my platforms. That’d do it.
“TWILIGHT! [NAME] SHRANK. IS THAT SOMETHING HUMANS CAN DO? ARE THEY GOING TO BE ALRIGHT?”
“Wild really I’m going to be fine. If you’ll just let me explai-”
“YOU CAN SHRINK? Why didn’t you tell us [name]?”
Now winds come over - great. I’ll have to count on Twi’s glare being enough to give me time to speak.
“Wild what are you on about humans can’t - oh. You did shrink. How did that happen?”
Bingo. Now I can hopefully clear this mess up somewhat.
“I didn’t shrink. I’m just not wearing my platforms. They add to my height when I wear them, I didn’t realise this was the first time Wild’s seen me without them. Their worry was pretty cute though.”
“So you didn’t shrink..? Can I try them on?”
“Nah wind, not only are they my only pair of shoes but I think you’d break your neck if you tried to walk in them.”
He really does look kind of like a cat when he pouts, you’d assume he’s just had a lemon slice shoved in his mouth rather than being told no for his own safety. It’s nice to see that despite having to become a hero at such a young age he still acts his age.
“Then how do you wear them? You’ve been walking them for so long without issue?”
“They’re your only shoes?”
“Yeah they are Twi, there’s no issue either wild. They’re comfortable to wear and I’m used to them anyway”
Twi looks as if he’s gearing up for a lecture if the look on his face is anything to go by, the very same one that’s a warning for wild when he’s done something questionable. A short sigh, a shake of his head and it quickly softens up into some sort of lovestruck expression.
“Darlin’ It isn’t that that I’m worried ‘bout. It’s not a good idea to only be travelling with a single pair, what if they get damaged or lost? I’ve got a spare set that should fit you, you can have them.”
“You don’t have to go that for me twi, I’m sure theres somewhere here I could just buy a pair.”
“It really ain’t an issue. It’ll save you breaking in a new pair so it’s for the best really.”
There’s more to what he’s saying I can feel it, but I can’t bring it up around the others like this so answers will have to wait.
“You don’t wanna eat while you’re, only wearing a pair of socks you? Let’s go and get them for you quickly.”
His hand is so much softer than Wild’s and his touch is more tender and is that? Oh, he’s blushing, there really is something more to this isn’t there; does he like me or something? The walk to his room in the inn isn’t long, shorter than the one to my own.
“Give me a second darlin’ and I’ll get you them.”
“Of course, I’m not gonna get mad at you for taking too long to get me a gift. Seriously though, thanks for this link.”
If I thought he was red before he’s downright glowing now, his face from the tips of his ears to the lowest part of his neck that I can see have gone crimson red. Matching how his rummaging through his bag has gotten ever so more frantic, his patience for finding the said boots for me gone like ashes in the wind. Then before I know it a pair of leather boots are being thrust into my arms by someone who can only really be described as a blushy mess at the moment. It’s cute. He’s cute.
“They’re wonderful thank you again Twi, really.”
“You can ah - You can call me link when we’re alone together like this darlin’.”
“If you want me to then link. I’ll just put these on then we can go join the others, hopefully, they’ve saved us some food.”
These are so soft, are they lined with something? They have to be right? It feels like some kind of fur, they should be nice to walk in so I can save my platforms some wear. It makes a lot of sense to try to keep my belongings from home safe, just to have some memories to look back on.
“Hey link, mind me asking what they’re lined with?”
“Wolf fur darlin’”
“Is it your fur?”
How is it possible hes gotten even more red? Answers my question though. Why would he give me something lined with his own fur?
“I - That doesn’t bother you does it?”

Hello! I’ve recently fell in love with your blog again after not being on tumblr a while. Your writing scratches my brain in just the right way and reading your posts is all I’ve been doing to pass the time at my cubicle recently. One of my favorite niche tropes is when the two romantic rivals in a love triangle fall for each other instead of the person they were originally pining for. I was wondering if you would write a snippet based off of that prompt? super excited to see what you come up with if you do!!
"I said you can have her, if she wants you."
It was raining. A pathetic fallacy of rain. A spitting, upchuck of misery. Langston dragged a hand over his face, glancing up at the lack of retreating footsteps. Back out the rain. Back to the party. Back to her.
Nate stood awkwardly in the downpour, resembling nothing so much as a drowned cat - feline elegance turned into something sad and soggy.
"It's okay," Nate said. "I mean, if you really love her...I wouldn't want to get in the way."
Langston had thought he did. He'd been sure of it three months ago. But now...he studied Nate, heart thumping something stupid in his chest. He hadn't expected that.
"Seriously?"
Nate shrugged, wrapping his arms tight around himself to ward off the chill. He had nice arms. "Yeah, I guess. I mean, I don't want to be the consolation prize she has because you left."
"I don't think you're anyone's consolation prize," Langston scoffed, before he could stop himself. "I mean, look at you."
"...What?"
Langston coloured. "She'd be stupid not to pick you!"
Nate blinked.
"I mean - you always show up for her," Langston said, his throat feeling tight. "For anyone who needs you, actually. And your art is amazing, man. So, you're like ridiculously talented and handsome and actually a good guy." He shrugged, colour creeping up his face despite the chill as Nate stared at him. "I just mean - I get it."
He thought maybe he should start walking. Start running. Hadn't he left to get some air? To get away? To maybe not picture the two of them kissing?
He hadn't expected Nate to be the one chasing after him. Not that he'd expected her to, but...
Well. After all the chasing he'd done, maybe it would have been nice. Maybe it could have meant something. Instead, it hurt to even think about her name.
"Do you want to go grab a drink?" Nate asked.
"...what?"
"Bloody tragic out here," Nate said. He swept over, patting Langston's shoulder as he passed. "C'mon."
Dumbly, Langston followed.
They ended up at the local a few streets away, ensconced in a cosy booth with two beers and the central heating on full blast.
"Honestly," Nate said. "She's kind of pissing me off in how she's treating you. Us."
It wasn't the opener that Langston expected. He raised his brows.
"I mean, it's not really fair, is it?" Nate pressed. "The way she's been jerking us around? Pitting us against each other?"
"It didn't feel...great," Langston allowed.
He'd thought, two months ago, when he first felt things beginning to shift beneath him, that if she really loved either of them that she would have made a choice. Better to let down one of them, right? But every time he thought she'd chosen, suddenly it felt like she was in the middle again. It was driving him bananas.
Then, the more he'd seen of Nate, of how hard he'd tried to be good enough for her, the more he'd realised that actually Nate was fantastic.
"We deserve to feel great about ourselves, right?" Nate exclaimed. His conviction was a little infectious, so Langston nodded. "Because, you know, you're a great guy too." Nate nudged his foot under the table. "You're so smart. Funny. And, you know, you show up too."
"It's what you do when you care about someone," Langston mumbled.
"Right!" Nate said.
It struck Langston, suddenly, that Nate really was there. He'd left the party for him without a second glance.
"Thanks," he said.
"I wasn't going to leave you out in the rain like a kicked puppy, mate." Nate held his beer up to clink. Langston did and took a swig. "Cute as you are," Nate added.
Langston promptly choked on his beer, coughing.
Nate grinned. "Cheers."
"Bastard."
Nate laughed. His eyes shone. He continued to study Langston for a beat after his laugh faded, his head tilted to the side.
"So, just putting this out there," Nate said. "But you know I'm bi, right?"
"I..." Langston felt a little lightheaded. "I did know that, actually, yeah."
She had come to him about it when she found out. He'd already started noticing Nate at that point, but figured it was only because the other man was his rival or some such. Then she'd told him that and it was like his whole world tipped sideways into crisis mode. He'd catch himself watching Nate wrap an arm around her shoulders, and feel something burn in his chest, and have the slowly dawning realisation that he wasn't sure which of them he was jealous of.
"Cool," Nate said.
They talked, for a while, as they drank their beers. About her, but about other things too. Langston slowly felt the crushing weight of the party ease, felt himself relax into Nate's company in a way he'd never fully done into hers by the end. He'd always felt like he had to prove something.
"You really would be a very good boyfriend," Langston said. "I've been thinking about that a lot, this last month or so."
"Oh yeah?"
"Mm."
"I was very impressed by the time you fixed her car. I'm useless at that." Nate's gaze roamed over him. His voice lowered, soft. "You as good with anything else as you are with your hands? I've been wondering."
Langston swallowed. "You've been wondering?"
Their eyes locked across the table.
Nate was at full force, now, without the rain. Smirk. Teasing eyes to make you want to die. His hair had dried with the most adorable damn curl. Langston wanted to touch it. He couldn't even blame the beer. He wasn't entirely sure he could blame heartache either, because his insides were fizzing.
He wasn't sure which of them leaned in. It was not the most romantic of first kisses. It felt good though.
He dragged his thumb along the curve of Nate's face and watched the other man shiver.
"I've definitely been wondering about that," Nate said, low.
"We're not going back to the party, are we?"
They were not going back to her, were they?
"No," Nate said. "I definitely shouldn't think so."
Langston leaned in to kiss him again.

Rowaelin Month Day 2: Idiots in Love
When I think of idiots in loveI really do think of this au. And the idiocy really comes out in this. If you remember that fic idea I floated about not writing but then decided to write anyway *wink* it’s this one. CW: smut
~~~~~
Rowan reclined in Aelin’s bed, reading over the latest email Fenrys had sent him. His newest book was days away from being on the shelves and that meant the promotional bullshit was about to pick up in a big way. First and foremost was the book tour Rowan was leaving for in three days. There was a list full of times, flights and locations Rowan needed to be aware of. He’d handed over all the social media stuff for pre-release, knowing it was essential for good sales and all that, but besides a few prerecorded reels Rowan wasn’t a keen participant. Book tours were another beast entirely, in person he’d have no choice but to interact. It would be all kinds of exhausting.
For a good few months he would be touring cities across continents, talking about and signing his books. It was starting locally but then he’d be flying to Rifthold, then over to Wendlyn. He had never liked the public side of things, but for the sake of his success he suffered through it. Conventions had been fine because it usually came with a few rounds of verbal sparring with Aelin—which was always a highlight. The travel and time away had always been a non-issue, Rowan had never been overly attached to one place. Because previously he’d been single and unhappy, and the change in scenery had offered him mild excitement. This time was different. This time he was leaving Aelin behind.
Aelin had her own schedule to keep. She was in the thick of writing her next novel and her turn-in deadline was approaching. The best she could do was visit him for a weekend here and there. Other than that they were spending most of the next three months apart. Rowan hated that, he was so in love with her, and borderline obsessed in the most healthy way. Even a few days away from her was hard as it is. The prospect of it being months was torture.
The source of his travelling anguish appeared in the doorway, hands behind her back and a scheming look on her face. Aelin was dressed in one of his shirts, her new favourite attire, but he noted that she’d done her hair and makeup. Odd, because they had no plans on going out today. She already had a collection of shirts in her drawers but always seemed to take another when she visited his townhouse. Rowan might have to buy more before he left on his trip because he didn’t like his chances of getting them back.
“What are you up to?” He asked, discarding his phone on the bed.
Aelin’s smile turned a little more wicked and she took a step into her bedroom, rocking playfully on her feet. “I’ve had an idea.”
”Yeah?” Rowan asked cautiously. There was something afoot here, and he had no idea what it was.
“I’ll miss you while you’re gone.” Another step. “I think I’ve found something to ease the pain of it.”
Rowan hesitated as he tried to figure out what it might be—he came up blank. “How so?”
Biting her lip Aelin presented her prize from behind her back. It was a cylinder and Rowan tilted his head to read the writing along the label. His stomach dropped when the words registered in his brain.
Clone-a-Willy.
“No.” The protest came out immediately.
Aelin’s face fell in disappointment. “Why not?”
“I am not putting my—” the thought was abhorrent. “I’m not putting myself in that.”
“You don’t even know how it works,” Aelin whined, sitting on the foot of the bed.
“I don’t need to know, I can guess and it can’t be good,” Rowan said.
Aelin sighed, rolling the abomination over her palms. “Come on, Rowan. I read a bunch of reviews and it doesn’t seem that bad. Please, for me. It’ll be fun.”
“I’m still very sceptical and not willing,” Rowan hedged.
His ever persistent girlfriend only sighed, yanked the lid off the tube with a pop, and tipped contents out onto the bed. There were two tubs of something—one bright green—a thing that looked like a tube of lipstick, a thermometer, a small wooden stick and some kind of cloth. Aelin picked up the folded booklet which was no doubt the instructions, glancing through them before handing them over.
“See, nothing to it,” she assured him.
Shooting her a disbelieving glare he took the instructions and started reading. Aelin might be confident, but Rowan was not. With each line he read that little scrap of confidence hidden somewhere inside him dissipated a little more.
Measure and cut the tube, mix the mould solution, stick penis into the tube, wait at least two minutes before removing.
“Aelin—”
“I’m begging you, Rowan,” Aelin interrupted, giving him her best doe-eyed expression. “I promise to make your cooperation worthwhile.”
He looked at his girlfriend’s face and the myriad of sinful things she promised there. Two minutes. He would suffer for two minutes and then who knew what his rewards might be. Rowan was considering it, and Aelin was quick to swoop in when she saw him wavering.
“It’ll be fun,” she said cheerfully, then rectified when he shot her a look full of doubt. “I mean, it’ll be something fun for me. Keep you in my thoughts while you’re away.”
Rowan scoffed. “When you put it that way.”
Aelin patted his arm. “Just remember, lots of rewards for you.”
She played dirty, climbing over him, encouraging him to lie back and kissing him. It was a heady and dirty kind of kiss, full of salacious promises. She pressed her body against him, grinding on his lap while her tongue flicked at the inside of his mouth. Rowan was already half hard when she pulled back.
“Please,” she whispered, kissing him again.
Rowan’s hands were tight on her hips, his head dropping back as he groaned. He always found it so hard to deny her. “Fine.”
Aelin sat up, squealing as she clapped her hands in utter delight. A moment later she was off him and dashing out the bedroom door. He heard the thudding of footsteps and a cupboard opening, and then Aelin was back, a towel and a bowl in her hands.
“First reward you get right now.”
Rowan was about to ask what it was when Aelin simply grabbed the hem of his t-shirt and pulled it over her head. Underneath she wore a golden lacy lingerie set.
“This wasn’t a spur of the moment thing, then?” Rowan said, eyes roving, taking in every detail. “And you knew I’d say yes.”
“When do you ever say no?” Aelin stated matter of factly, adding her new supplies to the pile and kneeling on the bed. “All right loverboy, clothes off.”
Arguing would get him nowhere, so he did as he was commanded. Shirt first, and then his sweatpants. When he was done, Aelin threw the towel over to him.
“Put this under you, don’t want to ruin my bedding,” she explained. “That one is covered in bleach stains, I don’t mind the sacrifice.”
Aelin picked up the instructions again, and while she read Rowan took the opportunity to enjoy the view. The rich gold of the set was a lovely contrast against the sun kissed tan of her skin. The briefs sat high on her hips, all lace except for a satin panel at the front. The bra had two thin decorative straps that ran over the top of her cleavage, meeting in the middle. It was longer and covered more of her torso than some of her other pieces, but it was just as sexy. He couldn’t wait to get his hands on her—or his lips. The best he could do right now was resting a hand on her thigh, drawing idle patterns while she concentrated. When she shivered it took a lot of restraint not to take it further up her thigh.
“Step one, we need to trim the tube,” Aelin declared.
“Please tell me that’s not a euphemism,” Rowan muttered, rubbing a hand over his face and those nerves started to return.
Aelin snorted, but then picked up the clear tube that everything in the kit had come in. “No, we need to make sure this is the right size and you need to be hard. Do you want to do the honours, or shall I?”
Never one to miss the opportunity to have his girlfriend’s hands on him, Rowan chose the latter. “You.”
The makeout and seeing Aelin in her new get up still had him half hard. It wouldn’t take much for him to get all the way there. Aelin smiled, crawling back over him. Her hands tickled up his thighs, not deterring from their goal though. Rowan held his breath as her hand closed around him, pumping slowly. Aelin’s tits looked amazing from this angle, hanging heavy against the lace. Unable to keep from touching her, Rowan’s hand made its own journey, starting at her ass, heavy with enough pressure to have her body bowing closer to him. His fingers threaded in her loose hair, urging her down for a kiss. All the while she kept pumping him, his cock thickening with every pass.
“Feels so fucking good,” Rowan groaned.
“You there?” Aelin whispered onto his lips.
When Rowan nodded she was gone a second later, that godsdamned instructions back in her hand. Then she picked up the tube and a marker and held it next to his hard cock. Marking a line she then cut it with a pair of scissors that game from gods knew where. She really had come prepared. Aelin nodded at her handiwork and smiled to herself. Then she was up, ready to take on the next step.
“Time for the mould that I’ll mix in the bathroom. And put this on.” This time it was a little tub that Aelin threw at him, beige with a blue lid. “It will stop any hair getting, ah… caught.”
“What?” Rowan spluttered, but Aelin was already gone.
She was headed into the bathroom, bowl and a few pieces from the kit in hand, and that gave Rowan a chance to admire the outfit from behind. Turns out it wasn’t a full thong, triangles of lace hugged the curve of her ass. And he had thought it couldn’t get any better. Rowan heard the water start running and guessed he should do his part. He pulled the lid off the tub of Vaseline and smoothed a decent amount over and around his erection. Only a few minutes later Aelin was out of the bathroom, the tube full of the moulding liquid.
“Sit up and let’s do this,” she said with determined excitement.
Rowan sat up, making sure to keep the towel under him. Aelin was eager as anything as she stood in front of him. “First, this.” She rolled a rubber cock ring down the length of him. “I read that it lessens the mess.”
“Did your research, did you?” His voice was tight as Aelin played with him once she was done.
“Absolutely. These are high stakes. You ready for the fun part?” She ended her question with a squeeze.
Rowan groaned. “I think you and I have a different definition of fun.”
“Don’t be a baby, you’ve come this far,” Aelin said, hiding her amusement very poorly.
“So, what? I just stick it in?”
She nodded. “That’s what the instructions say. Ready?”
It was now or never. Aelin pumped him again, just to help him recover while they had their discussion. Rowan was feeling nervous, and to give him some resolve he looked over Aelin again, reminding himself that he just needed to last two minutes and then the real fun could begin.
Closing his eyes, Rowan bit the bullet. “Just do it.”
Any hesitancy Rowan felt, Aelin outweighed it by ten fold with her resolve. She went for it, taking his dick in her hand and angling it right before sliding him in. It was cold and slimy, and felt disgusting. But he just kept sliding in until the end of the tube met the cock ring.
“Set timer, two minutes,” Aelin said.
Opening his eyes Rowan saw her drop the phone on the bed. Aelin was smiling like she was having the best time, curious eyes watching the tube that was encasing his dick. Contemplating that had him visibly cringing.
“No! You have to stay hard or this won’t work,” Aelin said in a panic, no doubt seeing the look on his face. “What can I do?”
Rowan’s brain scrambled for a second, trying to find something. “Talk to me, touch me. The best you can anyway.”
“It’s so fucking hot you doing this for me,” Aelin said, her voice sultry, not wasting any time and cutting right to the chase. “I love your cock so much, I know it won’t be anything like the real thing though.”
It was working, but he needed more. An idea struck him and he took hold of the tube. “I got this, you get up here.”
He lay back and it took a second for Aelin to catch on to what he meant. She crawled up the bed, her knees resting above Rowan’s shoulders. As Aelin used the headboard to hover over his face, Rowan used his free hand to pull her underwear to the side, baring her sex.
“Keep talking, Aelin. Tell me what you’re going to do while I’m away and you’re here without me,” Rowan said, then he was on her.
Aelin moaned loudly as his tongue played with her clit, her hips dropping lower. That sound was enough to have his mind ignoring the discomfort around his dick, so he did it again, and again, just to hear how much Aelin loved what he was doing. Rowan hummed, and that had Aelin gasping, hips rolling over his mouth.
Pressing a chaste kiss to where she was most sensitive Rowan said, “I can’t hear you Aelin.”
“Fuck, Rowan,” she sighed. “I’ll use it every night, thinking of you.”
Rowan hummed again, encouragingly, urging her to keep going.
“I’ll think of you, how big you are,” each word was laboured, like it was a struggle to get the words out and keep her mind straight. “How perfect you feel inside me.”
“More, Aelin,” Rowan growled on her clit,
The moan of pleasure Aelin let out told Rowan she was close to breaking. Having her ride his face was utterly distracting and his sole goal now was to make her come. A beeping went off—Aelin’s phone—but there was no way he was stopping now.
“I’ll fuck myself with it,” Aelin manged through her heavy panting, her voice shaking and much as her body was. “Just like you do, so deep. It won’t feel as perfect as you, but I’ll be thinking of you every second.”
Rowan sucked, then rolled his tongue over that bundle over nerves and that was all it took. Aelin’s moan was closer to a scream, her hips undulating with each pulsing wave of her orgasm. Rowan kept up his ministrations until Aelin all but fell away from him, a panting mess on the bed beside him. Through heavy lidded eyes, she glanced at him, and a second later she was rolling over and kissing him. Aelin hummed as Rowan ran his hands over her body until her brain cleared enough that she stopped her phone beeping.
“That was certainly one way to pass the time,” she said playfully. “Should we see how our little experiment went?”
Rowan snorted, his attention redirected to the particularly uncomfortable situation he was experiencing. “I wouldn’t call it little.”
“Of course you wouldn’t,” Aelin replied as she straddled his thighs.
That made Rowan laugh, laying back on the bed so Aelin could get this done with and he’d be free. He’d done his part, gone along with his girlfriend’s whim and suffered through the discomfort. Now he was ready for it to be over. He felt a tug on his dick, not one that felt particularly great. Then another one. On the third the mould still wasn’t budging. Rowan raised his head a fraction and looked down to see Aelin peering at the white filled tube sticking straight up in the air.
“What?”
Aelin cleared her throat, looking no less beautiful in her get up as she bit her lip. “It’s stuck.”
Immediately Rowan reached down and gave it a tug himself. Oh fucking gods it did not move. Rowan’s heart was pounding and he was sweating. This was not happening.
“This was a stupid idea,” Rowan said. He twisted the mould but the only thing he succeeded in was hurting himself. “Did we leave it on for too long?”
“You’re fine, you big baby.” Aelin was trying to play it off but he could still hear the slight nervousness to her tone.
“You should have got a bigger size,” Rowan all but groaned.
There was an ill disguised snort from Aelin. “This was the biggest size.”
Despair was taking him. This was what hell was like.
Meanwhile, Aelin was trying again, and his dick—the stupid appendage that it was—couldn’t figure out that this was not the time to be getting turned on by her touch. It didn’t help that she looked like a literal goddess kneeling over him.
“Stop touching it, you’re making it worse!”
This time Aelin outright laughed. “I never thought I’d hear those words.”
Rowan rubbed his hands over his face. “Aelin, please. I was doing this for you and now neither of us will have my dick.”
“You’re being dramatic,” Aelin said, and for some unknown reason thought it was a good idea to rub a soothing hand over his stomach. His traitorous dick twitched in response, the weight of the godsdamned mould a strange sensation.
“You’ve ruined it, it’s useless,” Rowan bemoaned.
“I stand by my previous statement,” Aelin said. When Rowan raised his head up enough to shoot her a baleful glare she lifted her hands in surrender. “I’ll leave you, I can see my presence is not helping.”
Rowan closed his eyes and felt the bed dip as Aelin left. With the reason for his current predicament gone, Rowan turned his thoughts to the unsexiest things he could conjure up. Getting stuck in traffic, the smell of overripe bananas, that time Lorcan got an infection in his big toenail. Rowan pictured all those things and tried to keep his breathing calm. He needed the adrenaline rush to wear off, not just from his panic but from giving Aelin head. That was the wrong thought to stray to, now Rowan had to think of even more gross things.
It took a while but his heart beat started to slow and he wasn’t sweating anymore. Rowan had never felt such immense relief when he felt the weight of the plaster filled tube dip as his dick finally decided to syphon off some of the blood flow. As soon as it fully landed on his stomach Rowan went to pull it off. There was some residence, but with some slight twisting he was free.
“Thank you Mala,” Rowan sighed in relief.
Curiosity got the better of him and he looked inside. He couldn’t particularly see much except a dick shaped hole. The temptation to throw it across the room was strong, just for the spite of it. Rowan really had seen his life flash before his eyes.
“Still in one piece, I see.”
Aelin had appeared in the doorway, her gold clad body leaning on the frame, like nothing had gone amiss.
“You owe me,” Rowan said, dropping the cloning mould on the bed. He’d be happy to never see it again.
With a grin Aelin retrieved it. “We’re established that. Go have a shower and I’ll finish this off.”
Rowan wasn’t going to argue with that. He left Aelin to do whatever the next heinous step was and went into the ensuite. This shower was much nicer than his and the taps rotated so much smoother. It wasn’t long before he found the perfect temperature and stepped under, letting the pounding water pressure Aelin was so proud of wash away any remnants feelings of his discomfort.
The shower did him good—Rowan cooled down in more ways than one. After getting over the shock of getting his dick stuck in a plastic tube he could see the merit in Aelin’s plan, for her at least. He’d be gone for months and she would be alone while she wrote. It was unlikely that they would get much time to see each other in person. It would be phone calls and video chats. Rowan wouldn’t be touching her body, wouldn’t be able to feel her. Gods knew it would be torture. Could he blame her for taking a more creative initiative?
Rowan turned the water off, not wanting to waste any more of the limited time he had left with Aelin before he had to leave. Dressed in nothing but a towel, he found Aelin lounging in bed, still wearing that set that had kept him hard through his ordeal. All evidence of the cloning fiasco was gone, something he was very glad of. Aelin looked stunning, that self satisfied smirk only enhancing her already beautiful face. She was a menace, but she was his menace.
Already Rowan’s body was reacting, he could feel the fabric of the towel brushing against his cock as it hardened. It took a moment for Aelin to notice him, her eyes drinking in the expanse of his bare chest.
She sat up, leaning on one hand so her golden hair cascading over her shoulder. “Am I forgiven yet?”
Rowan untucked the towel and let it fall away, watching as Aelin’s eyes flared with desire. He crawled over to her, Aelin drifting towards the bed as crept up her body. She was waiting for him to take what he needed, so patient even though Rowan knew she wanted this just as much as he did.
“I have a feeling I will be,” Rowan said, voice low and he loved seeing the way his words made Aelin shiver.
In the end, Rowan decided that he had suffered enough today and he wasn’t going to prolong it any further. His hand started on Aelin’s neck, then traced a path lower, covering her breast before it tightened there. Aelin’s mouth opened on a silent moan, her body arching towards him. Rowan dropped his mouth to her other breast, teasing her through the fabric. Aelin sighed, her hands tight in his hair.
Any other time Rowan might have drawn this out—played Aelin’s body perfectly until she was sighing his name over and over again. But today, Rowan found he didn’t have the patience. He reached under Aelin’s body and unclasped her bra, then he was helping her out of his underwear.
“Roll over for me, Aelin,” he said onto the skin right over her heart.
With a coy smile, Aelin did as he requested. Rowan ran a hand down the length of her back, and then up, brushing golden tresses out of the way. Then he lent over Aelin's body, kissing her shoulder and neck, teeth grazing as he went.
“Are you ready for me?”
Aelin nodded but Rowan decided to investigate for himself. Dragging his hand between her body and the sheets, he touched his way down until his thumb brushed over Aelin’s clit. She moaned, her hands fisting in the sheets. Just going a little bit lower Rowan found the evidence he sought.
“You are. Aren’t you,” Rowan growled, a finger dipping inside. “So wet, so ready to take me.”
“Oh, fuck. Rowan.” Aelin all but moaned his name. “Yes, gods yes.”
Just for a few indulgent moments Rowan teased, easing in out, applying pressure to places that had Aelin gasping. His cock twitched with every sound, getting almost painfully hard. That didn't seem fair after everything Rowan had been through in the last half hour, and Aelin seemed to think so too. She reached under the pillow in front of her and held up the condom between two fingers.
No hesitation and it was only moments before Rowan was ready and lining himself up. Aelin was eager, bracing herself on her elbows and pressing back.
“Come on, Rowan. I know you want to,” Aelin taunted, her voice husky, betraying how far gone she was.
“Anything for you,” Rowan promised and slid in.
Their moans filled the room as Rowan sank as far as he could go. He had one on her hip and the other was at the base of Aelin’s neck, tangling in her hair. After that it was too easy to fall into the rhythm that he knew would have them desperate for release. With each flex of his hips he could feel Aelin coiling tighter and tighter, every moan sharp and wanton. Rowan wasn’t quiet either, groaning as he felt her inner wall flutter around him, begging him for more. And Rowan gave it, he kept going until Aelin was screaming his name, her body going taught before she came, her hips dragging her over his cock relentlessly enough that it had him following right after.
Aelin went limp once they stilled, falling to the mattress completely when Rowan pulled out. He dealt with the condom and was back moments later, pulling Aelin into his arms. She sighed as she settled on his chest and Rowan kissed her head.
“I’m going to miss you,” she said sadly. “My home will be lonely without you.”
Rowan was quiet for a moment, a thought weaving through his mind. He was hesitant to voice it, but the longer he thought about it, the more it made sense.
“What if it doesn’t have to be?”
Aelin propped herself up so she could look at him, expression confused. “What?”
“What I mean is,” Rowan reached out and tucked a lock of hair behind Aelin’s ear. “How about when I get back, I move in.”
“You mean it?” Aelin asked, eyes bright.
“I mean yeah, unless you want to move into my place,” Rowan shrugged.
Aelin lent her cheek on his chest, her smile beaming up at him. “Nah, my place is better. But you can definitely bring your library ladder though.”
Rowan laughed and lent down to kiss his wickedly funny girlfriend. She met him halfway, her hand cradling his cheek.
“If we learnt anything from today,” Rowan said, pulling back just enough so their lips still brushed. “Your wish is my command.”
CATEGORIES: one night stand!harry
PT. 2 | MASTERLIST | TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK
a/n: i know it's been about twelve billion years, but thank you for bearing with me. i had the urge to write some smutty smut, so i did — not sure how consistent i'll be, but i'm back, baby!!!!!
“You know, it’s not nice to stare.”
You glanced up and realized he was looking at you, having fully caught you investigating him. “Had to see what my shot partner was like.”
“And what do you think?”
“Hmm…” You let your sentence hang while you figured out what to say, your tipsy brain scrambling for something flirty but not too weird. “Decent, but concerned you won’t be able to take it without a chaser.”
He chuckled, leaning his hip against the bar so the two of you were even closer. “What happens if I can’t?”
His arm brushed against your side, and you tried to not pay attention to it too much. It was taking every fiber of your body not to freak out and overthink this, because this was the first man since your ex to flirt with you in a bar—or even come up to you in a bar— and he was hotter than your ex by a landslide. Which was both flattering and also frightening. “I won’t let you follow me to the dance floor,” you answer him, plucking what little courage you had and employing it, praying it didn’t fall flat.
But he smiled. “And if I can?”
The shots arrived, and he picked up them both, handing yours to you, your fingertips brushing. “Then I’ll let you dance as close as you want.”
or
Y/N is newly single and Harry's really into her
You’d come out at the request of your best friend, but to be honest it didn’t take much to get you out there these days. The breakup with your ex had occurred a month and a half ago and since then you decided you were done being sad, and wanted to have fun. Fun that you hadn’t had in months. Fun with your best friends in the smallest amount of clothing you could get away with, and lips lined in a deep mauve that always made you feel like the baddest bitch in the room.
It was working too. You could feel your confidence and happiness creeping back piece by piece, every time you were dancing in a bar, screaming lyrics to your favorite songs and sweat slipping down your back, you felt one step closer to the person you remembered being. A person you had loved being too—full of life, the person people called when they wanted to have a fun night, the host of many a party, the best dance partner, and the perfect person for a heart to heart over pizza at the end of the night.
“I missed this!” Your friend Abbey said when you’d walked into her apartment with a bottle of gin earlier that night. She swept you into a giant hug and you couldn’t help but smile. “Like, I know I’ve seen you recently, but I missed going out with you—missed being happy with you.”
“I missed it too,” you’d replied, and meant it.
Now you were in your favorite bar in the Lower East Side, waiting impatiently at the bar amidst the many other patrons, tapping your phone on the counter to keep your mind busy. The combination of old Britney Spears songs pounding through the stereo and the rush of alcohol in your bloodstream made you full of joy, and a little more wild than usual.
“Gin and tonic and a fireball shot,” you requested, and he nodded before turning around.
“Fireball, huh?” The voice was deep and smooth, and you couldn’t help but turn around to discover who the owner was. He was tall, at least six foot, with dark brown hair and light green eyes, tattoos littering his arms. There was a ghost of stubble on his jaw, which only made it looked more chiseled.
He was so fucking hot it seemed unnatural. “Yeah,” you replied. “Feel like being a little crazy tonight.”
His lips curled up at the corners at that, and he took a step toward you. “Sounds like fun.” He raised his finger, grabbing the bartender’s attention, and requested a shot as well.
You took his distraction as an opportunity to study his side profile. His hair curled slightly around his ear, and his nose curved up ever so slightly at the end. There was a dash of freckles on his cheeks that you could barely make out in the low lighting. As your eyes traveled down to his clothing, you decided that he was ripped—his arm muscles bulged ever so slightly in a delicious way. He was so attractive it felt illegal to even be looking at him, much less talking to him. And having a drink with him, apparently.
“You know, it’s not nice to stare.”
You glanced up and realized he was looking at you, having fully caught you investigating him. “Had to see what my shot partner was like.”
“And what do you think?”
“Hmm…” You let your sentence hang while you figured out what to say, your tipsy brain scrambling for something flirty but not too weird. “Decent, but concerned you won’t be able to take it without a chaser.”
He chuckled, leaning his hip against the bar so the two of you were even closer. “What happens if I can’t?”
His arm brushed against your side, and you tried to not pay attention to it too much. It was taking every fiber of your body not to freak out and overthink this, because this was the first man since your ex to flirt with you in a bar—or even come up to you in a bar— and he was hotter than your ex by a landslide. Which was both flattering and also frightening. “I won’t let you follow me to the dance floor,” you answer him, plucking what little courage you had and employing it, praying it didn’t fall flat.
But he smiled. “And if I can?”
The shots arrived, and he picked up them both, handing your to you, your fingertips brushing. “Then I’ll let you dance as close as you want.”
“Deal,” he replied. The two of you bumped glasses, tapped them on the bar, and threw them back, the alcohol burning your throat. You watched as he, much to your excitement, didn’t struggle with the shot in the slightest. He just set the glass back on the bar and found your eyes. “Looks like we’re dancing, sweetheart.”
The term of endearment lit up your spine, and you tried to not smile too widely. The bartender came over and asked if it was on a tab or closed, and the man told him to put it on his tab without a beat—and that’s when you got his last name. Styles. Sexy, frankly.
He turned back to you and nodded toward the back of the bar. “Lead the way.”
The Motto by Drake was blasting through the speakers and this was the tenth song you two had been dancing to. Your gin and tonic was nearly empty, and your right hand was thrown around Harry’s neck—that was his name. Harry. It was said in your ear with his lips far too close to your skin for you to not fantasize about how they would feel on the rest of your body, the melt of his accent curling around you like a fire. His hands were on your hips, fingers curved around you so he could move with you with ease, and the two of your alternated between staring into each other’s eyes with such intensity it made you have to resist the desire to kiss him every time, and the bar around you.
Your back was sweaty from the heat of the dance floor, but the backless shirt you were wearing meant the material wasn’t sticking to your skin. Harry had informed you about a minute ago that the shirt was “one of the hottest things he’d ever seen” and that had made you smile coyly, or at least you’d hoped it was coy. You were enjoying the way his skin felt on yours, the press of his fingers, the warmth of his breath on your cheek.
It had been a while since you’d done this—let yourself flirt with a stranger, bask in the excitement of someone’s desire—and it felt so damn good. You dropped your head back, letting your hair fall backward, singing the lyrics you knew by heart. As you did it, you felt the tightening of Harry’s fingers on your waist, and you smiled to yourself. In return, you wrapped your fingers in the bit of hair at the nape of his neck, scratching ever so slightly. This made Harry’s grip tighten again, and you liked knowing that you were affecting him as much as he was affecting you.
You let your head fall forward, gaze meeting his. It was burning into you, his eyes gliding from your face down your body to the rise of your breasts. The pressure of it, of his interest and desire, felt good, and in that moment, you couldn’t help but feel a deep need to kiss him. The prospect of touching your lips to his, which looked so plush and inviting, a dark pink that looked far too kissable. The need burned at your chest, and you decided there was no reason not to give in. Tonight, you decided, you were saying yes to things that made you a bit nervous, and seeing what happened. So, you pressed your torso flat against his and leaned your head back, tugging at his with your fingers so your mouths met in harmony.
It was like all he waiting for was permission, because the minute your lips touched he moved, wrapping one arm around your waist and pulling you even closer, the other moving upward, his hand cupping your throat gently. His lips were soft and plush, just like you’d hoped. You loved how they moved against yours with obvious desire, begging and pleading with you through the kiss. When he brushed his finger along the column of your neck, you let your tongue dart out, brushing against his lips, which he parted for you, and you swept into his mouth, finding his tongue.
The kiss was messy and needy and exhilarating. From the press of his lips and the way they parted and pulled at yours, to his arm that was locked around your waist, fingers pressing int your skin, or the hand that was splayed at your neck, his fingers curled int your hair and the base of his palm on your throat.
It was, in all honesty, how you’d been wanting to be kissed for months. With desire, to feel needed and craved by another. It set your body on fire, and made you throw any apprehension you had to the wind.
“Air,” you mumbled, pulling your mouth away. “I need air. And a cigarette.”
He just smiled, nodding gently, and then threaded his fingers in yours, tugging you through the crowd. You hadn’t necessarily invited him to follow you outside, but you hoped he would get the hint—and he did, thankfully. There was a door in the back of the bar, a security guard standing next to it. Harry nodded at him, pointing at the door, and the guard pushed it open. It led to an alley, which had some other people down the way, but this section was empty. Perfectly, beautifully empty.
It was quiet outside, the thrum of the bass from the music inside seeping out, and the honk of taxi cabs melding into the perfect sound of New York at nighttime. You leaned against the rough brick of the building, the bare skin of your back cooling against the brick, which felt glorious.
“Cigarette?” You asked, reaching into your purse to pull out your pack and lighter.
“Sure,” he answered. “But I only need half of one.”
“Share one with me then.”
He smiled, and nodded. You placed the cigarette between your lips and lifted the lighter, flicking it so the flame appeared, lighting the end. You took a deep inhale, holding the cigarette in your teeth lightly as you exhaled out the sides of your mouth around it, placing the lighter back in your purse. Then, you took the cigarette from your mouth and offered it to Harry.
There was something so erotic about watching him smoke the same cigarette that had just been in your mouth. You couldn’t help but stare at his mouth curved around it, the smoke leaking from his mouth as he exhaled. You wondered if he thought the same when he watched you smoke.
“So,” you said as you held the cigarette between your fingers after taking a puff. “What’s your story, Harry?”
He stepped forward and pressed his hand to the brick at the side of your head, before leaning in and wrapping his lips around the edge of the cigarette that you still held between your fingers and taking another inhale. “I work in a record store and record some music on the side. Live a couple blocks from here with my friend Michael. Moved here a couple years ago.” He nodded to you. “And you?”
“Live in the village, work in marketing like everyone else,” that made him chuckle. “And have been here for three years.”
“Like it?” He asked, and you nodded.
“I do. I don’t think it’s forever, but I doubt that’s surprising. But I can’t imagine living anywhere else right now.”
He took another inhale of the cigarette before agreeing. “I know what you mean.”
“Are you here with friends?”
He nodded. “My roommate and some other people.”
“Will they miss you?”
That earned you a smile, and a shake of his head. “Why, what do you have in mind?”
The cigarette, shot, and gin and tonic are fueling your confidence because you pressed towards him and whispered in his ear, “your bed, preferably.”
He looked at you for a beat and then pressed his lips to yours, his free hand that isn’t touching the brick wrapping around your waist and tugging you toward him. It was a fight for dominance, this kiss—heated in a way the other one hadn’t been. It was full of desire and need and curiosity, that curiosity of finding someone new and leaning what they like and how they like it. You couldn’t help but let out a breathy moan when he tugged on your bottom lip with his teeth, and that sound made Harry press himself into you, his erection obvious against the material of your skirt. It made you wrap your hand holding the cigarette around his neck, making sure to not singe his beautiful curls, and curl your other hand in the waistband of his jeans.
Your finger brushed against a sliver of skin above his boxers and below the hem of his shirt, and you heard the sharp inhale of air he took in as you did it, pressing firmly against you and deepening the kiss. You wanted him in a way that you’d forgotten how to feel, and it lit up your whole body, making you absolutely uninterested in pretending you weren’t incredibly into him. You tugged his lip between your teeth and sucked gently, before licking across it. He responded by tucking his chin and brushing a series of kisses down your neck, pulling and nipping at the skin in a way that had you digging your fingers into his skin.
“Can we go,” you said, more a statement than a question in the way the words tumbled from your mouth. You couldn’t do this much longer or you’d end up begging him to fuck you in the bathroom of this bar.
“Fuck yes,” he answered, placing a searing kiss on your lips. “Need to say goodbye to my friends and close out the tab. Meet me at the bar?”
You nodded, and the two of you headed inside to say your goodbyes. You found your friends, explaining the situation in excited tones, and kissed them all goodbye on the cheek, promising to text the address you ended up at. And then you went in search of Harry, easily finding his mop of curls poking out amongst the people at the bar. You headed right for him, and when he caught sight of you he reached out for you, tucking you into his side, his arm around your waist.
“Let’s go,” he mumbled into your hair after he signed his name on the receipt, and you followed him out of the bar and into the night.
He kicked his bedroom door shut and walked to you in two paces, tugging you to him. Your lips met messily, all the pent-up tension from the evening and the walk here coming to a head. You decided to not mess around—you wanted to feel his skin desperately. The buttons of his shirt, a soft silk that was sweaty in the best way, came unbuttoned with ease, and you pushed the shirt off his shoulders, exposing his skin. It was tan and scattered with so many tattoos that you wanted to explore, but didn’t feel like you had enough time.
“I love your tattoos,” you said, your voice cutting through the sexual tension and silence in the room. Your fingers brushed across the swallows on his chest, and you saw his muscles tighten at the touch.
He didn’t acknowledge your statement. Instead, he was too busy staring at you. “Y/N,” he said, breathlessly, “can I take this off?” His fingers were playing with the hem of your shirt, and you nodded with ease. The material was pulled over your head in mere seconds, leaving you in just your skirt and boots. His fingers were on your skin immediately, cupping your breasts, lips brushing along the slope of your shoulder as he pulled on your nipples.
Your head fell back, a quiet “fuck” leaving your lips as his fingers moved across your skin, leaving a searing fire in their wake. He took advantage of the space, sucking on the skin at the base of your neck, nipping and pulling and you threaded your fingers in his hair and tugged gently. “Bed,” you exhaled, and he nodded, walking you backward until you fell onto the mattress.
He leaned back and unzipped your boots for you, dropping them to the floor and then removing his own shoes. You pulled on the clasp of his belt, freeing it from his jeans, and then popped the button, pulling down the zipper. The thought crossed your mind that he was the first man you’d undressed since your ex, but you didn’t let the thought linger for too long. Instead, you busied your mind by pushing down his jeans and tugging him on top of you, finding solace in his lips.
The kiss he gave you was deep and full of need, and you drank it in, loving each second that it held you. His fingers tugged on the zipper of your skirt and you wriggled to let him free you from it, leaving you both in just your underwear. You moved up the bed, pulling him with you, and tugged him down on top of you.
Wrapping your legs around his waist, you pulled him in, your centers meeting and both of you let out a moan. Hooking up with someone new was always an interesting experience, that edge of apprehension and unsuredness, but this was feeling more and more comfortable by the second for you. Maybe it was the way his fingers felt on your skin, the way he didn’t stop touching some inch of you. Or the kisses he placed on your lips and then your skin, or the way his breathing hitched when you rolled your hips.
He was hard against you and you loved how it felt, how the friction felt against you. His tip was nudging at your clit through your underwear and you could feel how wet you were getting, and you wondered if he could tell too. You hadn’t done any of this in a little while, but you wanted him. Craved him in a way you hadn’t lately, and you wanted more. Wanted to feel the weight of him on your tongue and the press of him against you, that glorious feeling of being held by someone and the crash of an orgasm that exhausted your bones in a way nothing else did. How it made the world slip away for a second.
“Can you roll over?” You asked, nosing gently at his jaw.
“Yeah, ‘course,” he answered, flopping onto his back. You were on him in seconds, straddling his waist and swiveling your hips in a slow, tantalizing circle that had his hands reaching the curve of your waist. The pressure made you grind into him deeper and the moan that fell from his lips was intoxicating. You didn’t know how much more of him you could take, the pressure just building and building and building inside of you every time he kissed another inch of your skin.
Harry was fucking obsessed with you. This random girl he’d found at the bar who he couldn’t stop staring at. The curtain of your hair that fell around him as you bent forward and scattered kisses down his torso, making him inhale sharply, the feeling surprising in all the right ways. His fingers were pressed into your waist and he let them drop to your thighs, enjoying the softness of your skin and how he could grip them and pull ever so slightly to make your hips move over his cock, the friction feeling heavenly.
He needed you in every way, and he was simply wondering what you would be willing to give him because at this rate he would take any scrap or morsel of you.
And that’s when you suddenly shuffled backward and hovered over his thighs, lips ghosting downward to the top of his underwear. Fuck, you were going to go down on him. Would he survive? He wasn’t sure.
He lifted his hips and let you tug down his underwear, the sweetness of the kiss you placed on his hip bone catching him off guard. Harry lifted up onto his elbows so he could watch you as your fingers brushed along the length of him.
“You’re pretty,” you said, words dancing across his skin like another one of his tattoos.
“Yeah?” He answered, fingers winding through your hair. “Think I’m pretty, angel?”
You giggled—fucking giggled—and it set him on fire. “Very,” you informed him. Then, you ran your tongue up the length of him and swirled your tongue around his tip, the sight making Harry drop his head back and moan again. It felt so good, the warmth of your mouth and the caress of your tongue, the way you were delicate yet intense.
“More,” he mumbled, “please, Y/N.”
You didn’t hesitate before spitting on the length of him and rubbing your hand up and down, creating a ruthless pace that had him panting, circling your tongue over his tip repeatedly, making every inch of his cock light on fire. Then, you dropped your hand to his balls and gently rolled them as you took him in your mouth, and that’s when Harry looked back at you, not wanting to miss this moment.
Your eyes were on him, watching his response to your actions as you sunk lower and lower on his cock. When his tip bumped the back of your throat he groaned, and it took every inch of his willpower not to buck his hips at the sensation. And then you pulled back a bit, and then back down, creating a rhythm, your lips wrapped around him, tongue gently licking stripes up the underside of him as you worked.
It was heaven, your mouth. He hadn’t been with someone in a while, and you were unexpected but oh so perfect. He couldn’t stop looking at you, at the sight of his cock disappearing into your mouth over and over again, the sight of your eyes watering ever so slightly when you took him particularly deep, the bit of drool at the corner of your mouth. You were fucking drooling over him. It was the hottest thing he’d ever seen.
When you pulled back and swirled your tongue over his tip and then sucked, he couldn’t hold back—he bucked his hips ever so slightly into your mouth. “Fuck, sorry,” he mumbled. But you just nodded, widening your lips and stilling where you hovered.
His eyes about rolled back in his head.
“You want me to fuck your mouth, angel?” You nodded, and Harry didn’t waste another second.
He curled his fingers through your hair and pressed his hips up, using your mouth and you let him. You even moaned at one point when his tip brushed the back of your throat. It was like you loved this, loved the feeling of him using your mouth, and that made him even more intrigued by you. When you started sucking on his tip when he pulled back, he decided he couldn’t take this anymore—he was going to come if he didn’t stop.
“Gotta stop,” he said, pulling your head off him. “Gonna come if I don’t.”
You looked up at him and smiled, before wiping your mouth on the back of your hand. “Liked how you felt,” you mumbled, crawling up his body toward him. He grasped your hips in his hands, and looked up at you, catching your eyes and smiling.
“Liked it too,” he said. “Come ‘ere.” You lowered your mouth and kissed him, lips intertwining perfectly. Then you started grinding back and forth on his cock, and Harry realized how wet you were through your underwear—fucking dripping, in fact. “Roll over for me,” he requested, and you did as he said with ease.
He hovered over you and fingered the waistband of your underwear. “Please,” you mumbled, and he smiled, before pulling the material off with ease. You were, in fact, glistening with arousal and Harry loved the sight. He pressed a kiss to your knee and began to bend down because he wanted desperately to go down on you, but you started shaking your head back and forth. “No,” you said, “Want you to fuck me. Please.”
The please got Harry. “Yeah?” You nodded, and Harry moved closer to you, letting your legs fall to either side of him. “Wanted to go down on you, but I guess that’ll have to wait.”
Your hands swept up his sides, brushing along the tattoos that rested there. Harry pulled away just enough to reach his bedside table, grabbing a condom. Quickly, he ripped open the package and rolled it on himself, pumping gently, eyes glancing over your body spread out in front of him. Your breasts, perfectly large in all the ways he loved, the curve of your waist and the skin he was deeply enjoying holding onto, your gentle but wildly talented hands, the soft waves of your hair that smelled far too delicious to not bury his face in. It was like you were out of a dream.
“Harry,” you said, hand reaching for his thigh and tugging gently. “Please.”
The begging really did it for Harry—he hated to admit it, but he fucking loved it when girls begged for him. Made him feel so wanted, so desired, so needed, which is exactly what he craved from sex. “Coming, I promise, love.” He rose up on his knees and nudged your thighs a little farther apart with his own, creating space for himself. Leaning over you, he caught your eyes as he nudged your entrance gently. He knew he was big, and he didn’t want to assume it wouldn’t hurt, so he was going to watch your expression to see how it felt.
And what he saw made him keen. The way your eyelids drooped ever so slightly, your tongue darting out to lick your lips. Then, he felt your hips brush down a bit, slipping more of his cock inside of you, and a gentle moan slip from your lips. “More,” you requested, hand winding around his bicep and gripping him.
Harry didn’t make you wait a second longer, he pushed forward, watching your eyes to make sure it didn’t hurt, and it never did. You just shut your eyes and your mouth dropped open, no sound coming out. You felt like heaven—wet and warm and snug, and Harry remembered why he absolutely fucking loved sex.
He pulled out slowly, and when you tugged slightly on his arm, as if to say Hurry up, he answered with a swift thrust in, groaning at the way your walls gripped him. You answered with a moan of your own, the words, “Feels so fucking good,” falling from your lips.
That spurred him forward, and he built up a rhythm that was brutal in pace. You liked it hard, that was obvious, and Harry happened to love it too. He had missed sex and this pace was dizzying in all the right ways. The feeling of your thighs wrapped around his waist, keeping his hips close, and the sight of your breasts bouncing as he fucked you was too much for his brain to process. He couldn’t figure out what to watch. The sight of his cock entering you (which he really liked looking at) or your breasts, or your stomach which he for some reason had the desire to bite gently, the skin stretched there tantalizing. Your face was a dream too—the way you looked at him with desire and need and pleasure so obvious, the moans that left your mouth without a filter, not caring in the slightest who heard.
Harry grabbed your thighs, tugging them up so your hips lifted off the bed and thrust in, hitting a deeper spot that made his head spin—and yours.
You were losing your fucking mind at this sex. He was fucking you like, truly, no man had fucked you before. Full of power and need and dominance in all the ways you loved. The feeling of his eyes on your skin had your body on fire, and that mixed with the way his cock was stretching you out just had your brain melting away. You couldn’t decide on what to pay attention to, but currently his tattoos and the ripple of his biceps was enticing you. The black ink made you curious, and you wondered if you asked if he would tell you their stories.
His hands slipped to hold your hips, pulling you in toward him, fucking you onto him and it made your eyes roll back, a heavy groan ripping from your throat. Missionary, you decided, was underrated. Harry knew how to fuck someone in missionary good, and you wanted it again and again and again. With your ex, you always craved the variety of positions as something to keep you engaged, but right now you had no desire to change your position. All you wanted was more intensity, more pressure, just more.
“More,” you begged, squeezing his arm.
Harry responded with a smile, and then he lowered your hips before rotating them to the left, your right leg draping over your left. He shifted behind you ever so slightly, nudging his cock back inside of you, and you gasped at the depth of the position. You could feel him in your fucking stomach it felt like, and it made you scrabble for his skin, gripping the forearm connected to the hand that was holding your hip as he fucked you. “Good?” He asked, hair falling into his eyes as he bent forward slightly, using the leverage to fuck you harder, driving into you at a brutal but delicious pace.
“So…fuck…good,” you answered, words a struggle in this position. You were so wet and your abdomen was tightening, a clear sign that your orgasm was rising inside of you. That wasn’t something that surprised you, though—you’d always been someone who came with ease, especially in intense sex. So you let it build, let your walls tighten and spasm around Harry.
It had Harry’s grip tightening. The feeling of your walls fluttering around him was a clear sign your orgasm was building, and Harry couldn’t wait to feel it. He wanted to watch you come, to know that he was the reason why. He still had plenty of stamina left—he’d always had plenty of energy when it came to sex—so he decided after you came if you still wanted to have sex, he would happily keep going.
“Fuckkk,” you let out, head dropping back and eyes shutting, hair spread all over his duvet. It was a gorgeous sight, and Harry drove into you faster, the sight of your tongue slipping out onto your lip spurring him on. Then he felt it, the way your walls clamped down tightly and the grip you had on his wrist tighten significantly. You were dripping all over him, and it felt so fucking good that he knew he needed to pause for a second, so he pulled out, turning you back onto your back gently.
Your eyes opened and found his with a smile. “Good?” He asked, and you nodded. “Want more?”
“Hell yes,” you answered, and he chuckled.
Then he dropped down, ducking his mouth to your waiting pussy, the sight of your wetness smeared all over your skin and the smell of your come filling his sense. He licked over your exposed skin, picking it all up with his tongue, and you moaned, obviously sensitive. But instead of stopping him, your hands found his hair and pulled him in closer, making his nose nudge against your clit. You were so. fucking. hot.
He went to town on you, licking inside and then over your clit, which he discovered you particularly liked. He worked his tongue in circles that had your head thrashing, mouth dropped open in a moan, hands a death grip on his hair. Thankfully, he’d always had a thing for that. When he pushed a finger inside of you at your request, that made your eyes roll back, and he fucked you with his fingers, first one and then two. He found your g-spot with relative ease, brushing against it and taking joy in the way your thighs tightened around his head.
Going down on you was so fun; like a new mystery he was taking deep joy in discovering all the secrets of.
You didn’t let that go on for too long, though, pulling on his hair with desperation after he’d been fucking you with his fingers particularly fast. “I’m going to come if you don’t stop, and I’d really like you inside of me again,” you said, and that made him stop immediately. He was not going to miss that opportunity.
He dropped your thighs from where he’d been holding them and moved back to his old spot between your thighs. He spit into his hand and ran it up and down his cock, getting ready to be back inside of you. To his joy, he got to watch your fingers slip down to your clit, brushing in a circle that made your hips buck up towards him.
“Ready?” He asked, and when you nodded, he pushed back into you. Somehow, you were even tighter—likely from being close and having adjusted to his fingers. It felt glorious, and he wasted no time finding a brutal rhythm. He tugged at your legs, pulling them up, so your calves draped over his shoulder, which made you scramble for skin.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck—Harry,” you moaned as he thrust into you, hands reaching for his collarbone.
He was close too, the sight of you on the edge and this feeling dizzying him. “I’m close,” he mumbled, and he watched you force your eyes open.
“I think—fuck—I think I might squirt. Is that, shit, is that okay?” The way you stumbled over your words made him smile, and so did what you said. It was a treat, something he’d never expected, but holy hell did he want.
“Fuck yes it is,” he answered, bending forward slightly so your thighs strained. “What do you need?”
“Fingers,” you replied. “On my clit. And a towel below me if you don’t mind your duvet getting wet.”
The prospect of leaving your pussy sounded downright unfathomable, so Harry decided he didn’t give a single shit about the state of his bed. He had plenty of blankets. Who cared about a duvet. “It’s fine,” he told you. Then, he reached between your legs and brushed his fingers over your clit, which made your pussy tighten immediately and your hips buck.
It was like you couldn’t control yourself, the way your hips moved. Harry had to stay incredibly close, so he didn’t slip out, but he didn’t mind. He loved how you felt around him, all consuming and deliciously wet. He wanted to see you squirt more than anything, so he was staving off his orgasm until after you finished, but the effort was torture. The distraction of rubbing your clit was helping, but he didn’t know how much longer he could last.
“Gonna come for me, love?” He mumbled, words tumbling from his fucked out brain. “Wanna see you squirt all over me.”
That, it seemed like, did the trick. Your walls tightened immediately, and Harry felt the rush of your orgasm immediately, coating his lower body in wet. The sight of it, mixed with the load moans spilling from your mouth and the sight of your hand gripping your breast, pulling taut on the skin did it for him. It put him over the edge, and he stuttered, his pace faltering as he came into the condom, gripping your thighs as he rode his finish, the feeling of your squirt making his finish even more intense than usual.
Panting, he gently pulled out of you, letting your thighs fall to the side. “Holy shit,” he said, chest heaving.
You laughed gently, hand dropping to the bed. “Holy shit is right.”
He looked down at your pussy, where a large area around it was wet from you squirting. Harry had only had one girl squirt on him before, and it had been a while ago, so he’d forgotten what it felt like. And how much he fucking loved it. “That was insane.” He looked up at you. “You doing okay?”
You nodded. “Just a little sticky.”
He laughed. “Want to take a shower?”
“Please,” you answered. He reached his hand out for you, and you took it, letting him help you up. When you got to sitting, he pressed a gentle kiss to your nose. The gesture made your heart warm, especially after how vulnerable you’d been with him. You hadn’t done that with every guy you’d been with, and you weren’t fully sure why you trusted him with it, but you were happy you did. Your mind was floaty, drained from most thoughts, and your body felt light in all the right ways.
He led you to the shower, turning on the hot water for you and pointing to where the fresh towels and soap were. “Going to change the sheets,” he said, giving you a kiss on the lips before leaving you to it.
You stood under the shower, letting the warm water fall on your skin. It brought you back into your body. You used the soap and washed up, cleaning all the aftermath of sex from your skin. Then, you stepped out, grabbing a fresh towel, and sat on the toilet to pee, before heading back to his room.
The bed was freshly made, the wet duvet gone from sight. Harry was still naked, tucking a blanket onto the bed when you walked in. “Feel better?”
“Perfect,” you answered. “Thanks for letting me do that.”
“Of course,” he said. “I’m going to take one myself—help yourself to anything you need.”
He patted down the hall, leaving you alone in his room. It was fun to be left alone in a boy’s room, allowing you to snoop just a bit. You explored the framed photos on his dresser and bedside table, finding out he had a sister, and found some photos of him and some friends, boys you thought might be his roommates. His cologne sat on the dresser, and you made a mental note of the brand and scent name, deciding that you’d make the next boyfriend you had wear it because you loved the way Harry smelled.
A book you’d never read before sat on the bedside table and you picked it up, curious. You were reading the inside flap when Harry re-entered the room, causing you to look up. “It’s good,” he said. “The book.”
“Good to know.”
“So.” He pushed the door shut and gestured to the bed. “You’re welcome to stay the night—it’s pretty late. But if you want to head home that’s totally fine too, happy to call you an Uber. Whatever you’re comfortable with.”
He was sweet, you decided. That much was clear, from the way his green eyes gleamed with honesty. Sometimes guys would say all that just as a way to pressure you to leave, but this time you truly felt like he didn’t mind either way. “I’ll stay if you’re okay with it.”
Harry smiled at you, and you knew you’d made the right decision. You weren’t quite ready for the night to end, and you didn’t really feel like putting on your clothes and sitting in a stranger’s car right now. “Of course—need something to sleep in?”
“I, uh, usually sleep naked,” you said.
That made Harry split a wide grin. “Knew I liked you for a reason.”
You returned his smile, and as the two of you got into his bed, you couldn’t help but wonder what would happen next. If this was just a random hookup or maybe turn into a multiple time thing. Because honestly, you wouldn’t mind if it happened again. You were even curious what this boy was like during the daytime, if you were completed truthful with yourself. And as you laid on his pillows and he asked you questions about your life, seeming to be genuinely interested, you couldn’t help wonder if maybe he felt the same way.
university!au please!! infamous!shiggy with average s/o 🤼♀️ pls i
Oh anon, how did you know I’ve been wanting to write a college au Shig for a while? You must be psychic or something, very impressive!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Creepy Tenko Part One:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyways, I know you want the smut and shit but there’s a few things about Tenko that make him so infamous.
First off, his backstory. Basically, he was kidnapped by AFO as usual, but he was rescued by heroes this time a few months after. Unfortunately, a lot of damage had already been done.
The heroes were embarrassed as hell that they took so long to save him, and as a publicity act, paid to put him through elementary school, middle school, high school and hell even college. The big package.
Because of that, his entry was guaranteed since he was like 6. Obviously, this is gonna turn some heads.
Now this guy was infamous around campus for many reasons. For starters, growing up murdering his family and spending a summer with your local serial killer is gonna be the headline of his life. Everyone knows about that, and he doesn’t even deny it.
Also, because of that experience he has major ptsd and schizophrenia, causing a few tiny violent outbursts throughout his childhood. But it’s fine, he’s medicated now… most of the time.
He’s also very aloof, not talking to anyone if he can help it. He’s used to bullying, and at this point has pretty much given up making any friends. He’s so used to people being scared of him, just like his old master said, that he kind of embraces it, not even trying to hide when he stares at people for hours on end.
Oh yeah, and the stares. This guys got a dark ass aura. His blazing red eyes burn a hole in the back of the women he stares at. He’s a smart guy, he doesn’t need to pay attention to the whole lesson to get the gist. So lucky him, he can spend the rest of the class period staring at some chick while discreetly touching himself under the desk. Make eye contact with him if you dare.
The thing that completely tanked his reputation however, was when one guy got pissed at him for making goo-goo eyes at his girlfriend all day. He stopped him on his way to his dorm, punching him which made him stumble.
Something flew out of his hoodie pocket, and the man picked it up, students gathering around as he faced poor Tenko.
Tenko looked mortified, tears gathering in his eyes, but he wasn’t looking at his attacker. He was looking at his stolen object. The assailant hadn’t gotten a good look at what he was holding, and by the look on the freaks face it meant something to him.
The other students who gathered around screamed, some running to hurl in the nearby trash cans. When he finally looked at what he was holding it took him a good second to figure out what it was.
It was cold and grey. Fleshy with a golden back and… fingernails. Wait… was that… oh my god.
He yelled throwing the detached hand into the air, Tenko diving to catch it. He could feel himself losing control, his old senseis voice overtaking his brain and making his whole body shiver. He-he needed to calm down.
Tenko rose, pressing the cool hand into his face as he took deep breaths. He stopped trembling, and for a second, even with the screaming and yelling and trampling, everything was calm.
Obviously he got in trouble for having a murder scene victim’s body part in his possession, but Tenko knew from experience that no matter whatever bullshit they tried to scare him with, they couldn’t expel him.
He was like a mascot for the heroes’s new scholarship program. No way they would let him get expelled just because he kept a memento of his lost family. So, like always they payed them off. But the students remembered, and the guy who held the disembodied hand needed therapy.
So, not only was he a creep who got off to pictures of feet in the bathroom during homeroom, he also was a creep who kept a souvenir of his first murder victim with him at all times. Weird weird weird.
And then you came along.
He didn’t think much of you, that was, until you decided to sit down in one of multiple empty seats bordering his desk. No one ever sits this close.
Well… he had to admit… you were pretty. With your silky (h/c) hair, and your brilliant eyes, and your juicy, plump…. Eh-hum, personality.
He couldn’t stop himself from staring, not like he tried. You’ll learn soon enough that he’s a creep, and then he’ll be alone again. Yep. All on his own. Terrific.
His eyes bore into you, not just in one place but all over. Scanning over your body and memorizing every detail. From this close he could truly see how smooth and soft your skin was. And he could smell your perfume. What was that, lilac?
“Oh, do you like the perfume? I just got it! It’s lilac!”
Shit. You must have a mind reading quirk. He could feel his face growing bright red at the idea of you seeing the foul things he imagined in the last minute or so.
Truthfully you only knew because you could hear him sniffing the air like a puppy exploring a grassy field for the first time.
As the class went on you looked at him occasionally, not flinching whatsoever at the intense eye contact he returned. You had to admit… he was pretty cute. With eyes like those he should be the center of attention yet here he is sulking in the back of the class. Well, whatever, not your business.
The professor droned on about who knows what, making the both of you slump over your desks with boredom. You were praying for an oasis in the midst of this dry, dull desert of a classroom, when you heard a familiar sound.
Beep-boop, boop bleep!
You could recognize that sound anywhere! That was… that was…
You had to stop yourself from slamming your hands on the table in shock. The cute guy sitting next to you was playing the limited edition “Super Hero Adventure Deluxe” for the gameboy advance. (Not an actual game I think)
Aka, the only game in the Super Hero Adventure franchise you had yet to play. The one you had scoured EBay for forever. Holy shit, marry me!
You couldn’t help yourself, despite not knowing this guy in the slightest you pressed yourself into his shoulder, scaring the shit out of him and causing almost everyone to stop and look at you. You looked down at the pixelated screen, currently being death gripped by gloved hands as your cheek smushed against his fluffy black hair.
Tenko could feel his body shutting down from the inside. The sudden physical contact, the fact it was from a hot girl, and the realization she had an interest in his favorite game was all too much. Everyone watched as he pushed you away, screaming at you to stay away from him with some fairly colorful language.
Your expression darkened, and you grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. Having used to people tucking in their tail, he had to say he was not at all prepared for this. He didn’t actually want to fight you, he just wanted you to back off! … don’t make him fight you, you’re the first girl to touch him in years.
You both held intense eye contact for what felt like forever, but in reality was for only a second.
“You do not talk to me like that. Understand?”
Oh boy. Oh-ho-ho BOY you were awakening something in him he didn’t know he had. His face turned tomato red and his ire-filled glare turned into a soft gaze filled with child-like wonder. Not being able to speak he shakily nodded, hand raising up to feel along the one gripping his shirt. His fluffy hair bounced a little as he nodded.
You let go, returning to your seat with a huff and turned your head, and you were met with the utterly shocked faces of your classmates. They looked at you like you had just slain a dragon.
Meanwhile Tenko said nothing, face still completely red as his foggy mind spent the rest of class processing these new feelings that came up. The way you touched him, the way you scolded him! It was so… mean. So entitled. So dominant.
He wants more.
you’re one of my favorite authors so i’m so glad you’re active again! <33 I’ve started rereading awiaf just to remind myself why it’s my favorite fic ever so thank you for feeding into my brain rot since you started awiaf until now.
on the other side of this ask
I have worms for brains and I desperately need chishiya trying to drop hints that he likes the reader but just… is so terrible at it and gets frustrated because if it. He probably doesn’t even know the first thing about flirting, let’s all be honest.
Hey Anon! This probably strayed a little from your request, but if you'd rather have a fluffier version, I'm happy to redo it :)
The idea of Kuina being a horrified wingwoman to Chishiya's terrible flirting attempts was just too funny not to write about.
(Chishiya x gn reader)
(Kuina = losing hope in all humanity)
________________________________________________
It was killing her to watch.
She’d given him more expert advice than she’d ever given anyone - heaven only knew that boy needed it - but he was still so stiff, so standoffish, and so goddamn terrible. And now, hiding behind a pillar in the hotel lobby, Kuina felt like crawling into a corner and burying her head in the sand.
‘Thanks… That’s really nice of you Chishiya.’
The words had come out in the same awkward tone that one might use when humouring children, or fending off an over-familiar stranger on the bus. And what’s worse, Chishiya hadn’t even realised.
‘You just pull the pin and it should work,’ he explained, showing off the “pin”, which was actually a keyring attached to a piece of string.
‘Great,’ (Y/N) said, eyebrows drawing in bizarre confusion. ‘I guess it’s useful to have… maybe.’
Kuina bit her hand, fighting the urge to drag him away at his heels. Luckily, she didn’t have to, because without even saying goodbye, or ending the conversation whatsoever, he was now walking away, smiling with satisfaction and leaving (Y/N) standing in the hotel lobby looking utterly bewildered by the events that just occurred. As Chishiya passed the pillar, she grabbed his white hood.
He shook her off immediately. ‘Was that really necessary?’
‘What the hell was that?’ Kuina hissed. ‘What about everything we practiced?’
He shrugged lazily. ‘I thought it went well.’
You can’t be serious?
‘That right there? That was a car crash. You can’t just walk up to someone and give them a bomb as a present. They think you’re insane now.’
‘I doubt that. I left a note in their room beforehand.’
Kuina felt the colour drain from her face. ‘You did what now?’
Chishiya gave a knowing smile. ‘While the games were on, I left a note on the bed explaining that I had a gift. It was hardly a surprise.’
Oh my god… This is a disaster.
She placed both hands on his shoulders, locking him in a firm grip that he couldn’t escape from no matter how much he tried to squirm away.
‘Chishiya, listen to me now. Normal people don’t do things like this. You don’t know (Y/N) well enough to just walk into their room. You’re gonna end up with some really weird rumours going around, and I don’t want to be part of that.’
He finally broke away with a scowl. ‘You’re overreacting. If you’re not going to help, you can find somebody else to annoy.’
‘I’m literally trying my hardest to help you, but you’re impossible. This is impossible.’
He made a small noise of irritation and stared aimlessly at the white lobby wall. ‘Do you have any other suggestions then?’
‘What about telling the truth?’
‘No.’
‘It’s not that bad. Tell them how you really feel. Admit that you weren’t sure how to show it, and you screwed up —‘
‘I didn’t.’
‘Yeah, you did. You haven’t got a clue how to flirt, and that was a horror show to watch.’
He averted his gaze, looking anywhere but at Kuina. ‘Any other bright ideas?’
She rubbed her temple. ‘I’ll see what I can think of,’ she said. ‘Just let me work on it, okay?’
As she parted ways with Chishiya in the lobby, Kuina didn’t have much hope. The situation was eating away at her, because believe it or not, she wanted Chishiya to be happy, even if he was an asshole sometimes. Well, most of the time. However, even after borrowing all of her expert advice and tips, he still couldn’t quite make flirting seem natural.
And worse, he actually did like (Y/N), even if he had never really shared the depths of his feelings. But Kuina wasn’t blind. She’d seen the way his eyes trailed after them, no matter where they were in the room. He would only ask how Kuina’s games had been whenever (Y/N) was placed in the same group. Anybody else wouldn’t have noticed. Except Kuina wasn’t just anybody.
I think I might actually feel bad for him.
Stepping into the elevator, she pressed the button for the sixth floor. She was so lost in her thoughts that when the doors opened, it took her a good few seconds to realise that she was standing face to face with the object of those thoughts - the object of Chishiya’s affection.
‘Oh! Hey Kuina, this is actually kind of cool. I was just looking for you.’
Oh no.
Kuina could already see where this was going. ‘Really? We can go into my room if you want to talk,’ she suggested. ‘It’s better than standing out here.’
They must have been knocking on Kuina’s door, and since the timing was right, that could only mean one thing. There would be a very long conversation ahead. The two shut themselves away in the privacy of Kuina’s room, sitting on two small chairs in front of the window.
‘Sorry for the mess.’ Kuina began scooping up the array of lipsticks rolling around on the desk behind her. ‘I think I already know why you’re here.’
There’s no point beating around the bush.
(Y/N) tried to hide a grimace behind their hand. ‘It’s… well. Have you noticed Chishiya-san acting strange recently?’
‘Strange?’
‘It’s just that - this is so weird. He stares at me so much, and earlier when I came back from my game, I found a note from him on my pillow. I didn’t even know he’d been in my room.’
Seriously, Chishiya? The pillow?!
Kuina feigned surprise. ‘What did the note say?’
‘He wanted to meet with me in the lobby, so I did. Just now, actually, and…’ (Y/N) pulled out a soda can with red and blue wires stretching from the lip to the base, and a tiny pull ring on top. ‘He gave me a homemade grenade.’
‘I’m so sorry.’ It was the only thing Kuina could bring herself to say. ‘I really am. I can have a word with him if you want?’
‘That’s not all,’ they added. ‘The other day when I woke up I found something in front of my door too. I don’t have it here, but it was a… a shank, I think?’
Kuina fought the urge to put her head in her hands and cry. Chishiya hadn’t told her about this, probably knowing she would disapprove. And disapprove, she did.
‘I don’t have it with me, but it’s a piece of shaved metal tied to a screwdriver. There wasn’t a note but I think it was him. I didn’t really know what to say to him before. I just, I’m a little confused. I always thought he was kind of cute, but all of this is weirding me out…’
Hold on.
Kuina’s eyes widened. She replayed that last sentence in her head.
Hold on just one second.
‘I’m only asking because I care,’ they said, ‘but is he okay, you know, mentally?’
‘Look,’ Kuina interrupted. ‘This is going to sound crazy, but hear me out.’
Maybe honesty really is the best policy.
She took a deep breath. ‘Chishiya actually likes you. As in, he likes likes you. He’s just fucking awful at flirting.’
(Y/N)’s whole body froze, eyes flashing with hope. ‘You mean he likes me in that way? He has feelings for me?’
Kuina nodded and leaned back in her chair. It was like a huge weight had suddenly been lifted from her chest.
‘I wasn’t going to say anything since it’s not really my place, but the two of you are getting nowhere like this. I know how he looks, but Chishiya’s not made of stone. I think he just wasn’t sure how to tell you and decided to make you weapons for protection. He’s really logical like that. I guess he figured regular gifts didn’t have any value in this place.’
Have I ruined it?
She had tried to explain the best she could, to put Chishiya in a good light and dissolve any rumours of him being a homemade weapon-obsessed stalker. But by doing this, did she also sabotage his chances?
(Y/N) smiled gently. ‘I guess when you think about it that way, it’s actually kind of sweet.’
Kuina was perplexed, to say the least. There was no way in heaven or hell that Chishiya was sweet. Not a chance. The man was cold, stoic, calculating, basically anything but boyfriend material. But she wasn’t going to say this to the one person who might actually be able to change him.
(Y/N) stood up and grinned at Kuina. ‘Thank you! I think, I might actually go and talk to him now. His room is just down the hall, isn’t it?’
“It’s room nine,’ Kuina got to her feet too. ‘I’ll come with you, but I’ll be hiding around the corner. If it’s okay with you, I want to see how this works out.’
‘That’s okay,’ they said. ‘I’d like you to come. It’ll be good having you there, for support.’
The pair left Kuina’s room and headed down the hallway towards room nine. Judging from the vague shuffling noises they could hear through the door, Chishiya was inside. Kuina gave a wink of encouragement and hid just behind the corner, the perfect place to listen in and spy from afar. (Y/N) knocked on the door, holding the soda can between both hands.
The shuffling noises paused, then the door opened, revealing Chishiya. When he saw who was on the other side, his lips parted in mild surprise.
‘Hey Chishiya.’ (Y/N) shuffled awkwardly. ‘I just wanted to stop by to say I’m sorry about before, if I seemed off. I was still kind of thinking about my game earlier.’ They held up the soda can. ‘Really, thank you for this. It’ll be really handy in a pinch.’
To anybody else, Chishiya’s expression would seem static, bored even. But Kuina saw the vague tug of a smile on his lips; she knew better.
‘If you use it in your next game, I can make you another one,’ he replied. ‘Or if you need a knife that you can hide in your jacket. Tasers too.’
‘Tasers?’
He smirked. ‘All you need is an electronic device. It’s a simple rewiring trick.’
The two spoke in hushed tones, Chishiya faintly smirking and (Y/N) taking in every word he spoke. Watching from behind the corner, Kuina was delighted to finally see her efforts come to fruition, and she had to admit, these two oddballs kind of suited each other. Who would’ve known?
(Y/N) peered over Chishiya’s shoulder, their face lighting up. ‘Wait, is that your workbench? Can I see it?’
‘Sure.’ He opened his door wider and (Y/N) slipped inside.
This is the cutest thing I’ve seen in ages, Kuina thought. Maybe I should become a professional matchmaker.
And then she froze.
She froze because Chishiya didn’t close the door behind him. Instead, his eyes jumped over to where she was standing, looking at her squarely.
Busted!
She gave him an awkward wave of her fingers. However, instead of scowling at her for meddling too much in his affairs, he gave her the briefest of nods - a small thank you for the world’s greatest wingwoman.
Studying with side characters to an upcoming exams
I am inactive right now because of the exams, so yeah.
Diavolo
Preparation with Diavolo is always fast and fun. With him, you can easily forget about the transience of time. It’s all because you will not get bored in his company even during boring studying.
- Hmm, I think you made a mistake here, - Diavolo pointed his finger at your answer. He took your hand and started writing over your mistake. His hands were big and firm, from such close contact, you blushed. "I hope Diavolo doesn't notice my red cheeks," you thought to yourself. To hide the fact that you blushed, you decided to turn your head a little so that the Devil wouldn't see your face.
- MC? Everything is fine? The demon asked worringly.
- Yeah, it's okay. I'm just a little tired of the work I've done," you said.
"Oh, then let's get some rest," Diavolo suggested. "I am gonna be honest, I myself began to feel tired. Maybe we'll have a snack, food surely will give us some energy to continue our studies," said the demon.
"That's a great idea," you agreed with him. "Maybe food will distract me from embarrassment. I can't concentrate on preparation when all my thoughts are about Diavolo," you thought to yourself.
Before you were going to have a snack, Diavolo stopped you. "Is something wrong?" you asked.
Diavolo came closer to you and patted you on the shoulder. "Great job, MC, I'm proud of you!" he smiled.
- How damn cute he is... - you thought. Well, I suppose the thoughts about Diavolo will only get worse.
Barbatos
It would seem that preparing for exams with a butler is like signing a contract on your own death on your own initiative. Very stupid and masochistic. But it's not that scary. Perhaps because you are his favorite, Barbatos is not as cruel as, for example, with the demon brothers. You've seen a couple of times what a butler is capable of in a bad mood, so annoying him is not an option.
- MC, I had to cancel some tasks directly related to Diavolo. I hope you understand the responsibility and importance of our preparation for exams with you? Please don't disappoint me," the demon said with a smile. After the words he said, goosebumps ran through you.
You looked through the materials of those lessons with which you did not understand. The demon explained topics that were hard for you, which you could not grasp in any way.
- Well, I've told you everything you need to know. Now let's check how well you listened to me," the butler said. "If you can answer all the questions correctly, you will receive a reward from me"
- Okay – you agreed.
The butler asked you a lot of questions. You tried to give an answer to each of them, to the best of your abilities.
- Hmm... - Barbatos drawled. Judging by his expression, he wasn't particularly happy about your situation. "Well, I think it's satisfactory for today," he barely managed to say.
- So there will be no reward? – you said jokingly.
The demon sighed wearily. "Okay, since you did your best, I think we can pamper you a little," the demon kissed you on the cheek. "It's not enough," you muttered. Barbatos chuckled because of your insolence. "Get a better result, then you will get your reward. Consider it your motivation to try" - Then get ready, because next time I will get not only a kiss," you threatened.
Luke
Getting ready with Luke wasn't really easy. It took you a lot of work yourself to learn the material at least a little. And explain it to Luke? But despite the difficulties, you wanted to help the angel so that he could pass the exam at least for the average score.
- MC, I'm tired. I can't take it anymore," the angel began to complain. At such moments, he strongly reminded you of a small child, which he really is.
- Okay, Luke, do you want to move a little? Exercise and walking have a good effect on our brain, after any movement, it becomes easier for the brain to remember information," you explained. And Luke happily agreed.
After you walked in the park, which was near the hall of purgatory, you asked Luke if he was ready to continue. However, Luke shook his head, and his face transformed into a sour expression.
"No, it won't work that way," you thought to yourself. Even though you understood Luke's strong reluctance not to prepare, you still had to play dirty. "Luke, do you know Michael recently asked how you are doing with your studies" - the pupils of his eyes have become larger.
"R-Really?" Luke asked.
"Yeah," you confirmed.
The angel drooped, but he himself offered to continue preparing for the exam. Still, the boy did not want to lose face in front of Michael. After both of you worked hard, you invited Angel to go with you to eat a sweet cake in a cafe so that Luke would be happy. The angel became happy again and agreed.
Simeon
It wasn't the first time you've asked for help about studying with Simeon. Being an angel, Simeon skillfully possessed a lot of knowledge about the Devildom, which always amazed you. He was like a mini encyclopedia that could easily explain you topics that you didn't understand.
- Here's a test assignment for you, little lamb. I'll give you 20 minutes, I hope that's enough? After that, we will analyze your mistakes and focus on those moments where you have questions, okay? angel asked.
- God bless you, Simeon. What would I do without you," you thanked your savior.
"Heheh, I'm just glad I was helpful," Simeon said, embarrassed.
You have done test tasks several times, each time your mistakes became less and less. After the next test, you exhaled wearily and lay down on the bed.
- You must be tired, little lamb? Let me give you a massage so you could relax ," the angel suggested. You gladly agreed and lay down on your stomach to give Simeon your back. His hands expertly massaged your body, pressing on the places where you need and easing the friction in your sensitive areas. Because of his magic hands, you began to fall asleep, the angel, having learned this, began to massage your skin more slowly so that you could finally fall asleep. As soon as you fell asleep, Simeon passed his hand over your cheek and said: "You're so cute in a sleepy state." The angel put away all your books and papers and put them in your bag.
Solomon
Preparing with Solomon was something between fun and peculiar kind of activity. He always liked to study Devildom lessons in depth, so don't think you can fool around while he seriously explains something to you. At times, Solomon acts as your demanding teacher, who is ready to force you to redo the work so many times until he is satisfied with you.
- Solomon, I've already said this spell thousand times, can it be enough already? – you said plaintively.
- Oh no, don't exaggerate, it's only 23 times. Besides, are you going to behave the same way in the exam? Don't forget, my dear student, you can't let me down. So get ready and cast the spell again," the sorcerer ordered.
After you honed the spell to perfection, Solomon offered to cook you something. "Oh, no, no, Solomon! Of course I'm grateful, but I don't think I have the strength to eat anything at the moment," you quickly got your bearings.
- what? What a pity, but I wanted to please you. Then tell me what should I do for you to make you feel better," Solomon asked.
- Just spend some time with me in a hug, I think that will be more than enough, - you said.
Solomon agreed. He picked you up and carried you to his bed as if you were newlyweds. He gently laid you on a soft mattress, covering you with a pleasant-to-touch blanket. Then he lay down next to you, pressing you against his warm body. You hugged each other, it really relaxed you, making you forget about your long preparation for the exam.
I. Bobby's (Winchester x Younger Sibling)
Summary: Dean goes to check on his little sister at Bobby's before heading out for Sam. He didn't except her to ride a long.
I don't like writing Y/N so deal with an OC that I think adds an interesting twist. She will of course have her own kind of things going on but im going to try and be as true to the plot line as possible. but I hope you enjoy. Help me come up with a title after a few chapters maybe.
Word count: 1.7k and some change.
Jamie Winchester was not an ordinary girl in any sense of the word. She could take a car apart and put it back it together like she made it herself. She could cook something out of nothing every time and definitely take over the world if she tried.. She could also decapitate damn near anything that stood in her way and no matter how much she tried, she always knew what the people around her were feeling, and Dean was not feeling the best. He was anxious and stressed, maybe a little scared.
“I don’t know Dean, Sam was pretty adament about not hunting anymore. I think he’ll punch you if you even mention it to him.” She said in response to her brother as she reached for her wrench.
Dean sighed and picked it up, handing it to his little big sister. He couldn’t help but get sentimental. Remebering the times she would sit on the edge of the car while Dad taught him how to fix them. She definentaly picked that up.
“Yeah…but we can’t do it just me and you. You have school and he won’t want to be gone for more than a couple days.”
“Actually, I graduated last summer. You would know if you made it and Sam has a girlfriend. They live together pretty sure.”
“Wait, you talked to Sam?” Dean asked with raised eyebrows as his kid sister turned to face him, taking a giant gulp of her lemonade. She passed it to Dean and he accepted.
“Well yeah, He’s my brother and he is about to graduate. Bobby won’t let me drive his truck but he said if I fixed one of the cars up I could have it. You think I’d be out here in the heat otherwise?” She said as she grabbed a rag and wiped the grase off her hands.
“Right.”
“Dean, you never call and you sure as hell never pick up. Just like Dad, I swear.” She said rolling her eyes and walking away. Dean sighed and followed his sister into Bobby’s. Him and Dad had dropped her off so she could finish her last year of school without any inturuptions.
“Hey James Dean.” A joke Bobby had when he learned the kids names and just as siblings do, they greeting him at the same time unintentionally. Jamie rolled her eyes again.
“Bobby, I have work in an hour. Could you dig up a new belt for me?” Jamie asked as she throughly washed her hands and face in the kitchen sink.
“yeah, i have some around here somewhere. How have you been Dean?” Bobby asked, grabbing two beers from the fridge and handing Jamie a rag. She thanked him and leaned on the counter.
“I’ve been good Bobby, nothing too seerious. But Dad’s been on a hunting trip and hasn’t been back in two weeks. I’m getting worried.” Dean said.
There is was. What was nagging at her brother’s brain.
“Why didn’t you start with that Dean? My answer would have been totally different!” She piped up before Bobby could respond.
“Well, because I didn’t want you using your mumbo jumbo crap on me and trying to convicne me not to go looking for him!”
“Hey, I’ve changed a lot in the past year! I’ve even been on my own hunts!” She said. immedietly regretting saying what she just said. She looked at Bobby who looked away. They had an agreement after all.
“What the hell did you just say?” Dean said, standing up. Like everytime before, everything was always a yelling match at some point.
“Nothing, I have to get ready for work!” jamie said, running up the stairs and to her room. She locked the door and slid down.
“Fuck. i’ll never hear the end of it.” She muttered to herself. She couldn’t even imagine what would happen if Dad found out, but she was almost 18. She wouldn’t have to worry about that for a while, not till they found him at least. She sighed. She liked her job, at the local market just a general associate but it helped out, especially with her car.
She pulled out her phone. remembering when her dad gave it to her. Already opened and preprogramed with his, Dean, Sam, Bobby’s, and even her Mom’s last known phone number. She had added to the contact last since and a few charms on the end. She searched through her contacts for her boss and called him.
“Jamie, how are you?” Her boss said.
“Hey Carl. I know this is a really bad time but I have to quit.” She said. She felt really bad because Carl had ben really good to her. Giving her a job and any hours he could. “Some really important family issue came up.”
“Well, it is an hour before your shift. I’ll be a cool manager and cover since you’ve been working so hard. I’m gonna miss you Jamie. You’ll always have a shift here at the store. Best of luck with your family.”
“Thank you for being so understanding Carl, and I appriciate everything you’ve done for me this past year. Bye.” She hung up and looked at her room. It used to belong to Bobby’s daughters, but when Dad had asked him to house her for a while he couldn’t say no. She knew that she made Bobby feel better just by being there. She felt bad for having to leave but he would understand.
Jamie stood up and quickly packed her things. Over the years she had gotten good at making it quick. Always laid things out in the order in case Dad rushed in and screamed at her to pack.
She could still hear Dean downstairs. He could feel his intentions of interrogating her build in his gut. She grabbed a towel and jumped into the shower. She contemplated the choice she was making. The Family Business. She always saw herself as a solo hunter in her adulthood. Worked part-time jobs as she guarded unsuspecting towns against what went bump in the night. Just like her family, just not with them. It was like the military sometimes. Always on the move, always ready to run at any second. She loved her family and they loved her as far as she could tell. None of them knew how to feel about her being a legit empath but she knew somewhere along the lines they accepted and came to see it as an asset.
Empathy. A curse in her eyes. Supposedly a powerful mental gift was passed down by her mother who was a psychic and wanted nothing to do with her. Only Sam related to her feeling different. they never spoke about it more than two or three times in their life, the most right before Sam left. Dad did his best to never treat her differently but he had no idea how to raise a kid with physcic abiltites, but he did his best. She always knew he did his best. Dean, he was always harder to read more blocked off with those emotions.
She finished her shower, put on some clothes and grabbed her duffle. Racing downstairs and back to the dining room where her brother and uncle still sat.
“Hey, where are you going?” Bobby asked.
“With my brother, to find my Dad.” She said as if it was the most normal thing in the world. She went to the fridge and grabbed a soda and a road beer for Dean.
“No way, it will be way to dangerous,” Dean said standing up and confronting his little sister.
“and what about your job?” Bobby asked.
“I quit. I am a Winchester, not a clerk. We need to go get Sam and we need to find Dad.” She said, staring up at him, another thing she inherited. Her very own Winchester Stare.
On her way out the back door she gave Bobby a quick peck on the cheek. “Bye Bobby. I’ll call you when we get Sam.” She said.
“oh uhm Okay. I guess? Teenagers.” He said with a sigh as he got up and grabbed another beer.
“Bobby you’re just gonna let her go!?” Dean asked.
“Hey you heard her. Plus, she has made some major improvments since you guys left her here. After she graduated she hit the lore hard. She wants to do everything she can to help you guys hunt that demon and find her mom. You can’t blame her. She is you’re sister!”
“We left her here so she could get away from this life! Not go out on her own!”
“I didn’t even know she was till she called me covered in vamp blood. I’ve seen it, she is as ready as she will ever be.”
The conversation was broken up by the Impala’s car alarm. Dean tried to keep talking but the horn began to blow. Jamie, always the one to pinch Dean’s nerves.
“This isn’t over Bobby,” he said as he made his way outside. He was missing how Bobby rolled his eyes. He could only chuckle at how much like their Dad they were.
“Alright enough!” Dean shouted. Turning off the alarm and getting into the driver’s seat. Jame had already made herself comfortable in the passenger.
“This will be fun, I never get to ride shotgun.” She said, already combing through Dad’s cassettes for her mixtape.
“Jamie.” Dean said as he watched his sister. He knew she knew what he was going to ask and that he didn’t even need to.
Jamie sighed. “I know. I shouldn’t be hunting. But Dean! Just after Sam left I thought you guys would finally take me seriously. Dad taught me the same stuff after all, but it didn’t change one bit. “Stay in the car Jamie in case we have to run. Shoot anything that moves.” and then you guys left me here after the vampire in Omaha i just. i don’t want to be the only Winchester who can’t do her job.” She rambled.
“Dad’s gonna be pissed.” Dean said looking forward.
“We can cross that bridge when we find him.” She said, popping open the beer she had grabbed for Dean and handing it to him and opening her cream soda. Dean chuckled.
“You remembered?” Dean asked. Their tradition. A beer and a cream soda.
“Of course!” She said as Dean turned the engine over and cheered with his little sister. “Just wait till it’s a beer!” She said.
"Don't push it. You're still my little sister."
Hi! If your requests are still open, would you be able to write Giorno x Shy!Fem!Reader where they’re childhood friends and Giorno gained feelings for reader over the years and wants to confess but doesn’t know how? Maybe reader feels the same way and wants to confess too?
Thanks!! :D
Did I spend 2 hours writing this because I got hyperfocused? Yes. Worth it? Yes.
Giorno and the reader are both 15 at the start and 18-19 by the end. ENJOY!
“Amica?”
You knew that voice. It had Giorno all over it. Giorno and you had become friends when he moved next to you when your were both 4. He’d changed his name to Giorno, and you respected that, only his mom and step-dad called him Haruno, as he was known in Japan.
“Gio Gio?” You stepped out on the porch of the cafe you worked at, “What is-?” You stopped. Standing in front of you was Haruno Shiobana or Giorno Giovanna as he liked to be called but… blonde.
“Santa merda! Gio Gio, you’re blonde!”
“I know!” He threw his hands in front of him, “I woke up this way!”
You looked at him, gathering all the details you could. He was still the same boy. Same jade eyes, “What happened?”
“I woke up this way!” He waved his arms about, “Can we talk about this?” He pointed to his newly golden locks. It practically glowed in the sun, “Uh, I have a 15 minute break soon.” You stuttered.
“Okay, I’ll be here.” He wrung his hands and leaned awkwardly against the lamp post.
“Or you could come inside.” “I don’t have any cash on me.”
You chuckled, “I can still get you a water, on the house.”
He nodded, “Alright.”
You waved him in, “It’s not like anybody will recognise you anyway.”
“You did.” He said quietly
You blushed silently, “Be with you in a few.”
“So you woke up, and now you’re just blonde?”
“Yeah! Like my dad.” He whispers
“Whoa, you never talk about your dad.” You are even mor eintrigued now. Giorno had a peculiar picture in his wallet that he said was his biological father. The man in the picture was build strong and almost scarily so. But the defining trait Giorno knew was from that man was the star shaped birthmark on his upper shoulder.
“I mean, I didn’t think this is what puberty did.” You teased, “What colour do you think my hair will turn?”
“Pink?” He laughed, “No, that a ridiculous colour.”
“Yeah, nobody in their right mind would have pink hair.” You laughed together.
“What would you even do if you met a dude with pink hair?”
“How should I know?” He laughed, “I’ve never seen one, and I doubt I ever will.”
“Well, you could grow it out.” You said
“I could, we could style it like those old magazines we used to read as kids.”
“I can see you in a braid.” You grin
“We’ll see.”
“Ehi! Y/N, back to work, I see you going 2 minutes over your break!”
“Gotta go.” You stand up, but Giorno stood as well, “Me as well, goodbye, Y/N.” He customarily kissed you on both cheeks, something you’d taught him a long time ago. Watching him leave, you went back to taking orders as you wished that you’d had the nerve to teach him a new kind of kiss.
A few weeks later, he stopped in again, “Amiga!”
“Hey, got money for an actual coffee this time?” You called down the stairs
“I do, but that’s not the point.” He climbed the cafe stairs to meet you, “I’ve figured it out.”
Him suddenly so close with that piercing gaze had you pull away, flushed pink. “What?”
“I figured it out. The drug trade, everything.”
You looked quizzically at him, “You mean the mafia?”
He nodded, “I’m going to join them.”
You blinked. Wow, you’d lost it. Who knew serving 17 macchiatos in an hour would finally push your brain past its breaking pointt?
“Amiga?”
“Sorry, you lost me. What’s the plan?” You wiped down a table
“I’m going to become a gangstar.”
You nodded, “See, I keep hearing you saying you want to join the mafia.” You shake your head.
“I did say that.” He tries to meet your eyes, “All the drug problems, the law being run by criminals, it can be solved, I can solve it.”
You couldn’t believe what you heard, “You’re 15.”
“I know. I need all the time I can get, I have to start early.”
You put the cloth and spray down, “Tell me you’re kidding me.” You kept your voice low, you didn’t like catching attention of others.
“No, I’m finally going to do something about all this.” He took your hands in his and you noticed him stutter, “W-we grew up surrounded by people influenced by drugs, isn’t it time to do something about it?”
His change in demeanor prompted you to break out into a red blush. He wasn’t usually so… forward. It was different. You automatically sank back into your shell as red as a crab as other people stared. “Giorno, this is insane. You can’t join the mafia, it’s an early death sentence.”
“I get that, but things are different now.”
“But why you?”
“Because kids like you and I deserved to have good childhoods.”
That struck a nerve, “Giorno, I want to talk about this more, but I need to stay focused on my job right now, I’m sorry. I’ll call you when I get home, okay?”
He took a deep breath and stepped away, ”Okay. I didn’t mean to startle you.”
“It’s alright, I’m just worried about you. I care, okay?”
“I know.” He smiles earnestly, “I love that about you.”
Before you had a chance to reply or even register what he said, he was gone.
You called him that afternoon. Nothing. You called him again later that night. Nothing. You called him the next morning. Same results. Life went on, agonizingly slow. A week went by.
You should have just told him when you had the chance.
A month. 2 months. 4… 8… a year. You gave up after 3 years…
“Andrea, I need you to calm down. The report doesn’t have to be done until noon tomorrow. You have a full day and 3 hours to draft and finish it.” You spoke on the phone to a colleague. “Yes, I’ll be in on tomorrow… no, you don’t need me to proofread it, you’re an adult, you can scan your own emails for typos.”
A knock came from the front door. “Andrea, take a breather and write when you’re ready.” You hang up. Why your co-workers who were 5 years your senior needed you to spellcheck was beyond you. The knock came again, whoever it was, they were impatient. You checked the glass and caught a glimpse of blonde, and your heart skipped a beat. You calmed yourself and opened the door. It wasn’t him. Of course it wasn’t. A man in a green suit was standing in the doorway, “Buongiorno signora.”
That name. He had to say buongiorno. Of course giorno was a regular word, but it followed you everywhere, and you felt your heart flop sadly every single time you heard it.
“What can I do for you?” You cross your arms.
“My name is Pannacota Fugo, my boss wishes to speak to you privately.”
You nod, “Okay, I’m guessing you’re from a law firm or something?”
“No, signora. I am from Passione.”
Despite the decrease in crime regarding the mafia, the word stung, it was the mafia group Giorno mentioned. God, if they were looking for Giorno… but they couldn’t even ask you, you had no idea where he went either.
“What about it?”
“You may know him.”
“I don’t know anybody from the mafia, I make it my business to stay clear of their business.” You go to close the door.
“I’d reconsider. The boss says he knows you personally. I’m here to take you to see him.”
You steeled your nerves, “I said no.”
It was a skill you were working on, you’d become better at not being so shy.
“Right. Well, Giorno sends his regards then.” Fugo says and goes to leave
“Giorno?” Your heart almost jumps out of your chest, “Giorno Giovanna?”
Fugo nodded.
“I’ll get my things.”
You pulled up the a house. It was lavish, even on the outside.
“He’s inside.” Fugo holds the car door open for you.
In just some clothes you’d thrown on, you climbed the steps to the house. You stopped at the door. Fugo followed you and nodded to some guards who opened the door.
“Where is he?” You asked the blonde man.
“On the left.”
You rounded a corner and on a chair in a large room was a man.
“Amiga?”
Your face flushed at the sound of his voice.
“Please, leave us.” The blonde man stood. He was just as handsome as he was before, but now, toned and his blonde hair was long and braided down his back. He wore all black. You stared dumbfounded at him.
“It was hard to find you, you changed jobs.” He chuckled. That laugh made a old shiver run down your back, one you’d thought you’d lost.
You stepped back and tripped over a chair behind you. Without missing a beat, he caught you. But that didn’t make sense, he was on the other side of the room. But something caught you. You caught your balance and eased yourself up, still in shock, “You’re… here.”
He nodded with a hint of pink on his cheeks, “Yeah, I’ve been here for a few years now.”
“You… you never came back.” Your face heated up.
“I’ve been getting a handle on crime before I brought you to me. I didn’t… I didn’t want you to be a target.”
“But you could have called.”
“I’m always being watched, Amiga. Nothing was going to be a secret these past years.”
“You’re still calling me amiga.” You said.
“Well, I thought maybe we were still friends.” He sighed hopefully
“I, I don’t even know what to think. I… I hated you. I hated that you said nothing and left. But I missed you, and I still do…” You held your head in your hands, trying to name all these emotions running through you.
“I loved you.” You finished.
He looked wistfully at you, “Me too.”
“Well, w-what now?”
“Well, it’s up to you. We can start over, or we can just, let this go. I’ll let you go back to how you’ve been.”
There was a long pause,
“I… I want to be near you, but this can’t have just… not happened. I think-”
“So we should start over?” He nodded
“Not from the beginning.” You got closer and touched his face, “I still know you, at least I think I do. I might not, but I want to.”
He leaned into your touch.
“I still know this face.” You brushed your thumb over his cheek. You chuckled, “To be honest, I dreamed of this face.”
“Really?” He chuckled pleasently, a sound that made the butterflies in your stomach flutter
“I face I wished I’d kissed.”
“You’ve kissed my face plenty of times. You’re the one who taught me to do it.” He smirked. A vine snuck around your wrist and a flower appeared in your palm.
“Then the face I wished I kissed in more than one way.” You leaned in. You pressed your lips to his left cheek, and then the right, and as the sun made the rose coloured curtains behind you project a pattern of pink on his face, you sealed the confession with a gentle kiss on his soft lips. His hand curled around your face and tucked your hair behind your ear, “I wish you showed me this was to kiss earlier too, Amiga.” He smiled.
“Yeah, if this is how it’s going to be from now on, I’m going to need to be something more than amiga.”
His response was quick and sauve, “Then this is the greeting kiss you should expect from now on, cara mia.”
I saw a post about y'all vs. you guys and I have two ideas:
1. What if Clark says "y'all" and Superman says "you guys"?
2. I kinda need a fic now with all the misunderstandings around "yea, no" and "no, yeah".
Okay okay okay you must be on the same wavelength as me because ever since those posts started going around I have been thinking about this exact topic.
First - I personally think that Clark would say y’all but Superman would actually be a bit more formal most of the time. Some examples below:
~*~
Clark: Ya’ll okay?
Superman: Is everyone okay?
~*~
Clark: ya’ll’l never get away with this!
Superman: You will never get away with this!
~*~
Clark: I’ve got you! Ya’ll are gonna be okay.
Superman: I’ve got you! You guys are going to be okay.
Etc etc. I imagine he would say “you guys” to the right audience, but overall I personally headcannon that when he’s Superman he actively tries to hide some of his affectations that might give away where he’s from. Both as a way to protect those he loves and not bias other people against him or let him think that he could be from anywhere so he’s accepted everywhere, ya know?
Someone either on tumblr or in a fic I read once (if you know where please mention it so I can properly source!) mentioned Superman accidentally slipping that he was from Kansas while rescuing someone as a way to connect with them. Buuuuuut then realized how stupid that was and started telling everyone he rescued he was from where they were to cover his tracks. And that has always stuck with me as exactly the type of thing he’d do. Head empty - no thoughts - connect with others and save everyone he can and think nothing of his own security (or even sometimes how his own actions can effect the security of those he loves - at least when he’s young and just starting out)
BUT - this leads me to a second point on topic #1 (and into #2) Which is the beautiful, hilarious possibility of code switching between Clark and Superman ways of speaking in different situations.
Just imagine Superman in the watchtower. He just got done kicking some villain’s ass. He’s simply covered in some sort of alien goo and a light powdering debris from his fight and desperately needs a shower. Several of the other members are sitting around playing cards/shooting the shit when he walks in.
“Oh man Superman you look rough my dude.”
And because it’s been a hard fight and he’s also thinking about his personal problems he snaps back without watching his vocabulary. “If y’all’d’ve helped a little more maybe I wouldn’t be so—” He gestures to the suit and its immediate need for cleaning.
And wouldn’t that just stop them in their tracks a little. Big blue just said…y’all? Not only y’all but a strange rushed conjunction that feels out of place for him (they think). But then. THEN. He keeps doing it. Little bits and pieces slipping out to his fellow superheroes and friends.
“I’m fixin to go to China for a ribbon cutting ceremony. All y’all want takeout?”
“No. Yeah. I’ll be there. You coming with?”
“Mom really made the best pies for the state fair this year. Y’all’d’ve loved it if y’all’d’ve come.”
"Oh for cryin' out loud. Batman isn’t that scary. Just talk to the man, he’ll understand.”
Whiiiich brings me all the way back around to your point number two. God I would LOVE a fic full of misunderstandings. And one around “no, yeah” and “yeah, no” would be so much fun! I don’t know if I’m the person to write it because I literally say those two things in my head with such different inflections that I can’t confuse them. But it would be ~g l o r i o u s~ if it happened! I’ve been trying to wrack my brain for a good scenario in which they could be confused.
Maybe one where Bruce finally gets the courage to ask Clark around for dinner. “Are you free for dinner this Sunday at 5?” “No, yeah.” And Bruce just walks away unsure of if Clark understood or not? I know I personally have a habit of adding more to my sentences that sort of clarify “no, yeah” via context. Like, “No, yeah. I’ll be there.”
But “yeah, no” ? Now that one is easily said alone. But I personally always say it with a bit of distaste on the no, or laced sarcasm. Or as a question. So here’s some scenarios for anyone who needs examples of this
Person 1: You going to that party?
Person 2: Yeah, no. (No said with a hint of ‘I’d rather get teeth pulled without Novocain’)
Person 1: Did you get a raise this year?
Person 2: Yeah, no (No said with anger)
Person 1: Did you remember to do [insert chore/obligation that is ridiculous]?
Person 2: Yeah, no (No said as in ‘I am not going to do that. I never planned on foing that. I’m laughing on the No because it’s such a stupid ask)
Person 1: Did you do the dishes?
Person 2: Yeah, no? (Sort of. This means sort of, kind of, in a roundabout way, but probably not the way the question asker intended)
#ask answered#Thanks for this ask!! I’ve literally been rotating clark vs superman dialect in my brain for a couple of days now#it has SUCH juicy potential#Midwestern Clark Kent saying y’all#superbat#misundstanding plotbunny ideas!!#justice league shenanigans
