*grabs you by the arms, and by you I also mean me*
Listen to me. You have to allow yourself to indulge in things that are currently popular. You have to allow yourself to make and wear things that are going to age with time and mark a certain point in your life. You are not losing your individuality by watching a popular movie or show. There will never be anyone quite like you, and all you're doing is allowing yourself to live in the moment and have some fun.
Never stop questioning things, though. Never JUST go with the flow because that's what others like and you can tolerate it at best. You know what you like better than anyone else, and you should never let external factors pressure you into doing anything! Just don't lose yourself in the isolating corners of "uniqueness". It can be such a lonely place to be in... Even long term as you look back on memories. Having something be dated is fun and something to laugh about.
You're not just another grain of sand for enjoying yourself

Feel free to delete this or not respond if this is too much
I had like 150+ lps when I was a kid but I sold them shortly after my dad died cuz trauma response. A part of me regrets that is adult cuz I think I tried to grow up too soon.
I did get like $500 for them with all of the accessories and playhouse and stuff though. Anyways your blog lets me vicariously relive a good chunk of my childhood so thank you.
I don't know the code or anything but my favorite was definitely a little lizard dude.
i'm glad that i've been able to help in some way :) hopefully my blog has been able to give you some sense of joy <3
there are ... plenty of lil lizard dudes sgkbjngsdkjbn though i'm gonna go off on a whim and assume the one you're referring to is an earlier gen one (maybe 1 or 2?)

going to keep this vague on purpose but playing reload has reactivated brain chemicals in me that i forgot i had.
i think i'd want to make a more thought out post later, but i think my favorite thing about reload (aside from seeing minato in full HD glory) is how much it's made me think about video games as a storytelling medium- specifically with what mechanics and game design imply for characters.
there's a lot of quality of life features added to reload that help players easily enter a flow state and get immersed in the gameplay (most notable with tartarus)! which is so dope! reload has been such a nice blend of the mechanics from both FES and portable and it feels like a love letter to persona 3 fans.
there are definitely mechanics i miss from FES (minato's ability to wield multiple weapons being one of them). i can't deny that FES has some dated mechanics that don't necessarily feel fun for the player experience... but!
i think i mostly miss things from FES because i feel like so much of minato's characterization (for me) was informed by the gameplay experience and mechanics (e.g. fatigue system). obviously there's still other ways you can put together his personality (his dialogue responses), but i think game mechanics are a bit part of it, for me.
but in spite of that, i think reload is a really nice introduction to persona 3, it's so much more accessible and has a bunch of things to help make it more fun :) so far i think i'd recommend it to people :D

Guys I made a YouTube comment about six months ago talking about the absolute horrendous downfall of the dream SMP and how only a select few people came out as genuinely good people are not just hypocritical ahole
And some of those comments and replies were but what about badboyhalo?
And to that I say he may be a absolute gem of a guy currently, but let me tell you if I was a friend of yours and you look to me in the eyes and told me that you were joining kick.com, I would not encourage or defend your actions if you got car lacking on Twitter.
BBH defending Sapnap's decision because people are being rude is one thing, but then further defending his actions afterwards, DIABOLICAL
And when Sapnap moved he did not want his audience at all of the people that could be on that platform there were some young people walking in blind on that platform.
I do not want to go through the things that go on on that platform today but I want you to know that the cat in the blender live stream originally came from kick.com.
There were people from his community getting DMS from people who are way older than them asking to meet up.
And Sapnap's solution? "oh we're working on changing it"
Let me tell you if I was ever in the position of being his friend I would have told him straight up he messed up the minute he signed that contract.
I need an even sign out of good safe he signed it because they gave him like a million dollars.
It should not take a miracle in a half to realize that your friend is doing something that impacts you and that impacts them and that impacts there career and is an overall bad idea for everyone involved.
BBH was a bad guy in this situation because you should not be encouraging your friends to do something that's bad you can support the if they've already made that choice but encouraging them beforehand is a big no-no
Even Skeppy's and BBH's, was on the mend for a bit because skeppy he realized it was a bad idea after a whole and stopped defending it.
Tubbo realised it was a shitty idea. Smajor realised it was a bad idea. HECK EVEN TWITCH THE BIG ASS COMPANY THEMSELVES HAD PRIVATELY EMAILED HIM TO ASK IF HE WAS SURE.
I think it's absolutely lovely that you want to try and fix something that is already been shattered into a million pieces put through a meat grinder swallowed by Elon Musk then pooped out in the Sahara Desert eaten by a camel travelled five miles then pooped out again washed away by the River Nile and is now right next to the explosion site of ocean Gate, but oh my god did you have to make that.
You could have... Idk NOT streamed on that sight and helped from behind the scenes.
As a friend imma tell you if you messing up, and I don't want to be that kind of person but if your friends are encouraging you for a bad idea then they're not your friends they're not even good people.
If there was probably 1 to a billion worth of people telling you it was a good idea, and those 8 people were your friends would you still think it was a good idea of the rest of the world told you no?
Because that was the situation.
You would have to catch me in a state of intoxication severe the depravity for me to look you in the eyes and encourage you to do something that I know would be the worst mistake you've ever done in your entire life, with the whole world against me.
It's diabolical his friends let him do that. And it's even worse now that he's adopted the behavior of some of the horrific people on that site.
You'd be catching me LACKING if I looked up one of my friends who would switched up there behavior into their true form of hating absolutely everything and being the worst person possible and when our publicly support that.
NO. NEVER.
And I don't care about the "but he did it from a place of good intention" bit. How did you miss the rest of the world telling you there was no good intention?
So do I think BBH is a good person on the Internet? No.
What do I think he can be a good person? Yes.
Will I ever see him as a good person? No. Not even a good friend. Good homie none of bs.

this past year my work has started offering special seasonal round cakes. we don't order them to the store, the warehouse just sends out whatever the higherups think we need, which is of course always erring on the side of sending too many cakes, because it's better to have too much than to sell out
for most of the year this isn't that much of an issue. the pink cakes we sell at valentines and mother's day, and the rainbow and confetti cakes we get in the summer are popular sellers all year and they last 10 months in the freezer so there's no rush to get rid of them right away. for halloween and especially christmas this is a much bigger issue, since those colours are more distinctly holiday colours
christmas has been especially especially a big problem because christmas is such a huge sale time for grocery stores! we better send a lot of cakes! but like. who the fuck buys cake for christmas. if you're buying desserts for christmas you're getting cookies or dainty trays, or if you are getting a cake you're getting a yule log. nobody is buying just a christmas themed birthday cake. combine that with our new showcase where customers have to ask us to get the cakes out for them, and our higher-than-ever prices that customers are given ample time to think about while trying to get our attention, killing nearly all impulse buys, these cakes aren't moving. I'm pumping these cakes out as fast as I can but they just sit there for a week and expire. I think 15 total sales so far is a generous estimate, I think it's probably closer to 8.
but these boxes of cake keep showing up, and they're big boxes, and they're sending so many. we're running out of not just shelf space but floor space as well in the freezer, and everything is stacked to the ceiling
and the extra special thing is that we have two varieties of christmas cake. one is "merry berry", which is just vanilla cake with a mix berry filling. hardly seems that festive at all, but it'll be easy to sell after christmas. of course, that's not the one they keep sending. the one that keeps showing up is "holiday confetti" which is just a confetti cake but with only red and green sprinkles. okay that makes more sense, but a difficult sell after this next week and we have at least 15 boxes of them left in the freezer and each box has 12 cakes in it. I think we're going to have to lie and tell people it's just confetti cake and maybe they won't notice or care that it's missing most of the other colours

The mall I used to go to when I was younger is dying (or already dead considering who you ask). There's pretty much only two stores left that any people care about going to, one being a bookstore and the other being an anime shop that's a small, minority-owned business...
Well, today I found out some people (looked like late teens - 20s in the security footage, so not little kids) have been stealing blind box figures from the shop, maybe to resell online 'cause the shop has them for minimum $20 less than what I see people asking for them on shopping apps. They haven't caught who's doing it and sadly I think it's the kind of thing that will probably continue happening. It just sucks that the shop is most probably going to go out of business, I'm a shut-in and can't even remember the last time I went to any mall in this city thanks to my current life situation, but it's still sad since the shop owner is genuinely sweet.
