having a lot of physical attraction towards people, he loves you so much, he'd never love someone else like he loves you, but he does compliment others a lot, not just to be nice but because he finds people attractive. he thinks you dont really like that about him

Sun and Moon x Tiny!Reader Chapter 2

The Sun falls while The Moon rises...

It’s a bit lengthy but I didn’t feel like adding another chapter, this is p much it- two chapters only- Had to squeeze everything into this one but hey I’m proud of this! I had a LOT of fun writing it and ahem... when it comes to G/T y’all can rrrreally tell what one of my fave things to do is hehehe

TRIGGER WARNINGS: Blood, Threats, Violence, Gore mentions (nothing actually happens), Mentions of Vomiting, and Panic Attack

You had clutched your ears for a bit as Sun let out a string of no’s rather loudly “No no no! L-Lights ON LIGHTS ON!” . . . “S-Sunny! Wh-What’s wrong?!” You called out, he looked around very panicked before looking back down at you, he quickly placed you on the ground “I-I-I need you to h i d e… N O W!” You were confused by this as you backed away, Sun was seemingly clutching at his rays, clearly struggling with something and he looked terrified, much like you were earlier… “Wh-Wha… S-Sunny what’s going on?”

The animatronic shook his head, gripping his head with one hand and then covering his eyes with another, looking away from you “GO…! N O W! P-P l e a s e (Y/N)... I-I don’t want h i m to hurt you…!” You didn’t understand this at all but Sun looked desperate and he looked like he was in pain somehow so you quickly took off, you didn’t know where you were going truth be told, it wasn’t back behind the security desk you knew that much, you knew Sun wanted you to hide but hide from w h a t?! You heard him running off in the distance as well, he seemed to be trying to create distance, you also heard stuff clatter to the floor and him bumping into a multitude of things in all honesty, meanwhile you had ran behind some of the noisemakers.

That was about as far as you could get anyways because the lights had now all turned out, well most of them anyways the only things that were left were some of the stars and night decals on the wall, the stars on the ceiling but it was just glow in the dark stuff, not nearly enough light for you to see… You didn’t know what else to do, you flinched as you heard Sun scream, that sounded very painful, you heard a little bit of rasp to his tone as the scream eventually died down, you could have sworn you heard a little chuckle in the distance but either way, you were getting nervous, something was wrong, v e r y wrong… Sun looked so terrified when the lights began to go out, even wanting you to hide from ‘him’ …Who the hell was he even talking about?! You were so confused and at a loss in all honesty, so much for nothing ruining this moment…

After a few moments you suddenly heard a mechanical sound, it sounded like an animatronic walking for one but there was a squeaking and creaking sound to it… And then, a raspy chuckle echoed out in the Daycare, your eyes widening a little bit, you peered from behind the noisemakers and you felt your heart drop, there was… Another animatronic…? This one unlike Sun had star themed and blue pants, overall cooler colors than Sun had… Even his faceplate was cooler colored, you could somewhat put two and two together here, and then red eyes lit up the room which made you quickly duck back behind the noisemakers. You felt your body slowly beginning to tremble but you took a deep breath, calming yourself down… Th-There was no need to panic, not yet… You just needed to keep hidden until the lights came back on, y-yeah that wouldn’t be so hard and-

There was that creepy giggle that cut you off, you finally heard him speak “Sssooo…” His voice just as horrifying as his laugh “The S u n thinks he can hide y o u from m e…~ Such foolishness… He should know I was a l w a y s the better one at hide n seek than h i m~” You heard him slowly creeping around “I w i l l find you soon enough…” He giggled, mentioning something about you being naughty and up past your bedtime, you stayed hidden behind the barrels, you really didn’t want to get caught right now, your heart was racing but unlike Sun it didn’t seem like he could sense you… Maybe his sensors were broken or something, you didn’t know and didn’t care just so long as you could keep hidden away “Come out, come out wherever you are~ You can’t hide f o r e v e r~” You couldn’t go anywhere else, you didn’t have any kind of light with you so you couldn’t see to navigate your way through the Daycare, the only bits you could see is when you saw his red eyes lighting up places.

. . .

You heard him stalking around the play places mostly at first, seemingly looking low “There’s no w a y you had time to climb up anything~ No no… You must be hiding on the ground somewhere…~” You heard him rasp out as he slithered his way through some of the play areas, you could feel your heart threatening to leap into your throat, you couldn’t help it! You had no idea what would happen if he caught you and quite frankly you didn’t want to know, for awhile he fell silent, the only thing you could hear was the sounds of him walking around, his body making all sorts of mechanical sounds, and then of course his eyes glowing throughout the room, after a bit of him crawling through the play areas, he was making his way over to the Security desk, your heart leaped into your throat as you watched him begin to pass by, holy shit… You looked around and hugged the wall that was the barrel.

You quickly tried to inch your way to the other side of it, he was r i g h t there… If he looked down now, you’d be caught… You felt yourself beginning to shake a little at those thoughts but you kept carefully inching your way around to the other side and luckily for you, he was walking over to the Security Desk “I wonder if you’re over h e r e again, hmm~” You blinked in confusion at that …H-How did he know you were over there previously? Th-That didn’t make sense…! You shook your head, finally making your way to the other side of the barrel, you took a moment to slump down and calm yourself, it’d be okay… It’d be alright, m-maybe the lights would come back on soon and Sun would come back. You still didn’t fully understand what had happened but all you knew is the animatronic you were with now was not Sun first and foremost and second of all it was d a n g e r o u s.

Luckily for you he was over by the Security Desk now, he was more than likely checking over all the little crevices and places you could fit into over there, maybe even looking up high at some points… You had plenty enough time now to climb something at the very least, or maybe he would even get bored of this game and just… Leave you be …Yeah right, like that would ever happen, the thoughts began to creep in, you worried what he’d do to you if he caught you, so many things racing through your mind at once, your head began to spin and hurt at all these thoughts. You heard the animatronic, knocking stuff over on the desk, he really was looking low and high now, eventually he must’ve cleaned out the desk because his eyes then turned to the noisemaker, the one you were hidden behind, you saw red beams glowing over the top of the barrel, shining fully to the other side of the room.

“You k n o w… I can’t imagine why, oh no I can’t even f a t h o m why The Sun didn’t want to let me out…~ Perhaps, P E R H A P S…” He giggled before continuing “Maybe just maybe… He wanted to keep you all for himself~ Tsk tsk, we’re supposed to advocate sharing, how n a u g h t y of him” You heard him drawing closer, he sounded like he was walking even slower now “After all… We should share our toys~ It’s not p o l i t e to keep them all for yourself…~” You began to notice something you hadn’t before, much like Sun, you heard the faintest jingling over the creaking metal, the jingling got closer and closer to the barrel you were behind, the red glow getting a bit brighter now that he was closer, he passed by the barrel again, walking over to the other ones first and foremost, you had to inch your way back to the other side again, surprisingly enough he didn’t look back, he kept his attention on the other barrels, he looked around them but never knocked them over weirdly enough.

The longer this went on the more nervous you got, there wasn’t anywhere else to look now after he finished the other barrels, well all except for one, you heard him walking toward yours now and you squeezed your eyes shut “Mm… I k n o w you can hear me, so I want to let you in on a secret, little one…~” After a bit of walking, he stopped, right in front of the barrel, you felt sick to your stomach, a sense of dread looming over you and then a giggle “You see… I have known e x a c t l y where you were this entire time~! I merely enjoy toying with my prey, I enjoy dragging out the games as long as I can~” And that’s when your eyes shot open, your heart dropping, a pit forming in your stomach “Much like Sun… I can also sense you~!” And suddenly before you could even react, a head peered over the top of the barrel, staring right down at you, red beams covering you in a deadly spotlight, you screamed and quickly tried to run but it didn’t do much good.

He snatched you up instantly “Ah ah ah, no no… No more running~ No more hiding~! The game of hide n seek is o v e r~! And like always I am the winner” You struggled and squirmed in his grasp, it was tight, much rougher than Sun’s grip had been, you looked up to the animatronic holding you, red eyes staring down at you, surprisingly enough, the glow had somewhat faded so it didn’t blind you, now that you were up close and personal even though you REALLY didn’t want to be, you noticed, well aside from his entire outfit being different of course, some of the… Features he had… For one, he had razor sharp teeth and two he had claws as you saw when he brought his other hand over, you continued to struggle, tears starting to form in your eyes, whether it be from fear or the pain his grip was causing or who knows, maybe it was both at this point.

He seemed to notice you crying now, he almost purred with his next words “Now now… Don’t cry~” A clawed finger brushed some of your tears away in a sickeningly sweet manner, you tried to turn your head away from him, pulling back away from the claw, this seemed to amuse the animatronic slightly as his head spun around, much like Sun’s rays did but it was more unsettling when this one did it, you whimpered slightly “Wh-Who… Are yo… You…?” The animatronic tilted his head then “Ooh… Such a typical first question… Tch, you can call me Moon, or Moondrop, I don’t care either way” …Figures, of course a Sun and Moon themed animatronic “...Wh-Where did Sunny go…?” He seemed surprised but overall amused by your questions “When the lights go out… That’s when I am f r e e to roam… And the lights went out so… You're stuck with m e now~” You trembled slightly at that, looking down, away from him.

However, a clawed finger was immediately placed under your chin, it dug in a little bit as it forced you to look up again, you cringed at the stinging feeling, some blood pooling out, it wasn’t much but it still hurt… You whimpered at the pain which only seemed to amuse him further, he then removed his claw, you reached up to hold the spot under your chin, feeling some blood leak out onto your hands, he then reached up to pinch your arm between his fingers, you froze at that, the grip on your arm was harsh and it made you yelp a little, if he squeezed any tighter he would break your arm “...Such a f r a g i l e little being you are… Even more fragile than the c h i l d r e n… Why, I could easily snap your arm right now, all it would take… Is just…” He squeezed some more but it wasn’t enough to actually break your arm just yet, perhaps a promise that he would, or a threat… Either way…

You let out a sob that you didn’t realize you were holding in “P-Please don’t…” He chuckled at that, he then eased the pressure and just simply thumbed over your tiny arm, much like Sun did earlier on… He then let go of your arm in favor of reaching up to your head, you shielded yourself with your arms as best you could but to your surprise he was just petting your head, again, also like Sun did earlier except there were a few different factors, you were scared of this one and you didn’t trust him in the slightest. He continued to pet your head for a few moments before he suddenly dangled you by the back of your shirt, this caused you to yell out in surprise and well of course fear, you looked down to the ground and felt sick to your stomach “There’s so many things… I could do to you… You’re so much more fragile, so easily b r e a k a b l e~”

“I could simply drop you on the ground right now and you would die. A fall from this height is deadly for such a small human like yourself… Orrr… I could simply crush you in my hand, even one of my claws if they sank deep enough could kill you~! Or… Ooh… I could even tear off your limbs, s l o w l y… One by one, that sounds fun~” More tears cascaded down your face, it didn’t help as he brought his face closer to you, sharp teeth dangerously close “Hmm so many options… But yes, I think tearing you into pieces will be fun~” You flinched upon watching his mouth open, those sharp teeth far too close to you for any sort of comfort, he leaned back and jostled you around, placing you back in his grasp but it only got worse from there when he grabbed your arm again, he started to pull slowly on it, your eyes widening, and it was now at this point you were fully freaking out, you were crying and sobbing, your body trembling.

You felt like you could barely breathe and it wasn’t just because of the tight grip he had on you… You didn’t know what you were feeling at the moment, it was all too overwhelming, you were shaking, crying and you felt like you couldn’t breathe… At this Moon was still holding your arm, he was somewhat glaring down at you but you couldn’t even focus on him, you felt like you were going to pass out if you didn’t catch your breath soon, Moon had let go of your arm and he was staring down at you, he seemed to be trying to figure something out…“Rrr… B-Breathlessness… Sh-shaakinng… rrraappiddd… irregular h e a r t b e a t… Y o u… P...Panic... A-Att...” He was cut off as there was suddenly a loud buzzing sound, and then a static sound, it almost sounded like he was electrocuted, especially as he let out a raspy yell of... Pain...? Moon’s eyes slowly began to fade from that ominous red, the eyes flickered for a bit, he seemed to be trying to fight off something inside, it took him everything not to start screaming, he felt like he was about to overheat, so much, too much… He, he… His eyes eventually faded to a soft blue glow after a bit more glitching.

And then suddenly a loud voice broke through in his mind, a voice calling out with such desperation and fear, a voice he hadn’t been able to hear in a long time [ M-MOONY! M O O N D R O P!!! ] Moon flinched upon hearing that voice ring out in his head, he blinked, looking around before answering Sun in their head { S-Sun…? Wh- H-How… I-I can hear you… } There was a gasp of surprise but before Sun could say anything back, Moon looked down in his hand, his eyes widening “O-Oh n o…” He muttered to himself, he needed to do something and fast…! “Little St-Starlight… Hey, i-it’s alright, I-I’m not going to hurt you…!” You opened your mouth, trying to retort but all that came out was a harsh sob, you felt like vomiting so much right now, Moon somewhat figured, he… He oh god… He was going to… If he had a stomach, he’d feel sick to it right now… He could see through eyes that weren’t his own, and he knew exactly what was going on... He almost... “S-Starlight please, I-I know… I know you’re scared, I’m sorry…”

Before Moon could even try to fix his mistake, the lights suddenly flipped back on, this caused Sunny to pop back out, his rays popping up and he looked around before looking back down at you “O-Oh, little sunbeam…! H-Hey, it’s okay, it’s me… It’s Sunny…! Just here, c-can you try to take some deep breaths for me, (Y/N)? Remember, like we did earlier…!” You heard some of Sun’s voice, you heard the deep breath part and then you thought back to earlier, it took you a few moments, you eventually began to try breathing in and out… There were still a few sobs that shook your body but you were trying “That’s it, my little sunshine… Just breathe, in and out… In and out… It’s alright, I-I’m here…” Sun gently pressed a finger to your back, rubbing in soothing circles “You’re alright, I’ve got you…” It took you even longer than earlier to calm down this time, and even then your body was still so shaky and wobbly.

“There we go…” Sun cooed, whispering encouraging praise, continuing to rub soothing circles on your back, while you were calming down now, Moon was freaking out deep down, Sun could feel it, he seemed afraid, afraid of himself… { S-Sun, I was… I was about to k i l l them… I was about to K I L L them…! } He cried out, clearly distraught [ Moony, a…Are you, is that REALLY you…? Please tell me? ] There was a long moment of silence before Moon sighed.

I tried so hard to fight it, I-I never wanted to do what I did…! Not then and certainly not NOW, y-you know that, right Sun? You know I’d ne- } Before Moon could even finish Sun interrupted [ Moony, I’ve known you from the s t a r t! OF COURSE I know you didn’t WANT to hurt anybody! You NEVER wanted to hurt anyone, you were always so kind and gentle towards the children... I KNEW something was wrong in the beginning but I… I couldn’t do anything… It just got worse and worse, from us having our friendly chatter turned into one of sneers and mockery, downright c r u e l even… Eventually I couldn’t even hear you anymore ] Another pause, Moon couldn’t cry or he would be right now as well { I-I couldn’t hear you either, it was like something cut us off from each other… …I-I’m so sorry… I didn’t mean for any of this to happen }

Sun hated hearing Moon sound so… So defeated, so frightened even, it wasn’t like him at all to sound so scared and distraught like this [ I know you didn’t, Moony… I know… ] Moon then chimed in { You blame me, for what happened though, don’t you? } Sun’s eyes widened at this [ . . . A-At first I did… I just… I was scared too Moon, I didn’t know what was going on and I STILL don’t…! I-I got so angry, so upset, frustrated that things just kept getting worse and worse between us, but… I k n e w secretly, I KNEW something was wrong with you, what you were doing was NOT… Y o u, I got so scared for the children, for y o u... I didn’t know what to do, what else I could do aside from keeping the lights on ] Moon sighed at this { …I suppose it doesn’t matter now though, does it? } Sun seemed confused by that before he heard your voice call out “S-Sunny? A…Are you…” Your voice was really hoarse, you sounded so weak and it made his rays droop slightly.

“Shhh sunbeam… Rest your voice… You’ve been through a lot just now, I want to explain some things to you… You deserve that after what just happened” Sun sat down, practically cradling you in his hands “...You met… …Moon, er, well... SOMETHING anyways...” He could f e e l you tense up at the mention of him and then he sighed, he could feel Moon wince at that even [ It’s alright Moon, let me… Get things set straight, get them calmed down… Just… Try and calm yourself down while I talk to them, alright? ] He heard a soft mhm, on one hand it felt nice to have Moon back, even if it might have been temporary, it felt so nice to hear that soft, kind, gentle tone he used to have… But he couldn’t focus on that right now “...You see, I-I know… Wh-What he just um, tried to do… But, you know… There was a time where Moon wasn’t… Like that” You didn’t believe that but you couldn’t speak out to retort to that so you stayed silent and let Sun speak.

Sun began to explain that he and Moon were both the Daycare Attendants, he would handle the children during the day, playing and expelling their energy and then Moon would take over and settle the children for naptime, Sun talked a great deal about Moon and that he used to be soft, kind, gentle, caring and you were in disbelief but you kept listening to Sun talk and then the mentions of something going wrong one day, something happening to Moon that seemed to make him slowly deteriorate a bit over time, it having got to a point where they were no longer friendly toward each other and then ultimately it lead to them being cut off by something from one another, he went on and on about what happened, he seemed clearly distraught as he went on, your eyes softening a bit and your skepticism dying down slightly, you opened your mouth to say something but only coughed “Hang on a moment, sunshine… I’ll go get you some water, just… Stay right here, okay?” Sun left you on top of one of the noisemakers and then ran off rather than skipping this time.

…Now the thing was, you trusted Sunny, you didn’t necessarily trust Moon after that whole ordeal but you thought about all that Sun had said, about something being wrong i n s i d e of Moon, some kind of weird… Fault, bug, or virus, they didn’t really seem to know what was wrong but you tried to picture Moon as a kind, gentle animatronic and only shook your head, it was hard to believe fully right now, eventually Sun rushed back, bottle of water in hand and of course he took the cap off and poured some carefully into it, offering it down to you which you happily took, you took a bunch of sips to which Sun somewhat chuckled at “...(Y/N), careful now, not so fast, you’ll make yourself sick” You somewhat smiled at that, nodding, you were calming down substantially now, your body was still shaky but that would last for who knows how long to be honest and then Sun looked down “...I’m sorry… About this mess…” { …Sunny, it should be m e apologizing, not you… }

Sun and Moon had a conversation in their head then, you noticed Sun was making expressions but they weren’t necessarily toward you, so you tilted your head, you wondered… “...Hey Sunny?” You called out, which caught the bot’s attention “Yesss my little sunflower?” Hm, that was a new one “...C-Can you… A-Are you talking to Moon…? …Can he hear right now? Or… Is he…” Sun looked surprised but he chuckled “...Such a clever little one you are, (Y/N), yes… Moon seems to be… …Well, I-I dunno if I’d say fine, he’s pretty… Distraught… But, w-we can talk to each other again, whatever was affecting him doesn’t seem to be currently” There was a long pause “...He’s not doing too well right now, but honestly? I don’t think any of us are at this point” …You then paused, that was true, all three of you were pretty shaken up, even if Sun as mostly hiding his, looking down, you took some more sips of water.

…You looked to Sun, he wasn’t lying, he had no reason to lie to you… And likewise, he looked pretty shaken up himself even though he was trying his best to hide it, you could still see how jittery he was, this had shaken ALL of you up it seemed, even Moon… Granted, you couldn’t hear him like Sun but you could only imagine... This was such a long and hectic night, so much has happened all at once but you shook your head, trying not to get overwhelmed again “...I see…” There was a long pause, you just continued to drink, until you drank all the water in the cap, you were contemplating something granted you KNEW how stupid what you were thinking about was, after all, you LITERALLY just went through a terrifying experience! …But you kept thinking about what Sun said, how he talked about Moon before all that happened, Moon genuinely sounded so… Nice, it was hard to believe from your standpoint now but Sun knew the other a LOT longer than you did, you kept thinking about that bug or virus or WHATEVER it may have been that was affecting Moon.

…And then you started to wonder, Sun had said Moon was distraught over what he almost did and well from the way Sun described it, it sounded like Moon was distraught over EVERYTHING now, you then thought about being in his position, you thought about losing yourself to something you couldn’t control, you thought about something infecting you and making you do horrible things against your will, like some kind of puppet on a string and that made your expression soften, he… He might be just as scared as you were a few moments ago, if not even more so, him suddenly gaining back control of himself, realizing he was about to do something r e a l l y bad… After god knows how long, you sighed “...Sunny?” The animatronic hm’d slightly and you took a deep breath, you hoped you wouldn’t regret this, even though your brain was screaming at you that this was such a stupid idea after what just happened.

You pushed that part down and tried suppressing the anxiety you felt “...So… M-Moon can um, c-come out when like, the lights are out, right? Th-That’s what he told me” Sun tilted his head, he looked a bit… Hesitant, there was tension in his body “...Y-Yes, that’s how it works… Like I said, I handle the Day and he handles the Night… Lights on for me, lights off for him” A long pause, you looked down at your shaky hands, you sighed, this was the stupidest thing you could EVER do in your entire life and you felt like you were crazy for even CONSIDERING it after what happened, but then again this had been the craziest night of your life, first waking up shrunken down and now you were hanging out with sentient animatronics, perhaps you WERE crazy “...Can he… C-Come b…” You paused, hesitating in your sentence, Sun looking over you, his head tilted like a curious puppy “...Can he c-come back o-out…?” You finally forced yourself to say, this made Sun’s rays retract a little, a look of pure shock on his face, he could feel Moon’s shock as well and even some fear.

“...I-I… I… (Y/N)...” Sun began, a much more serious tone “...Are you REALLY sure? Y-You JUST went through so much…! I-I don’t know how much more you can h-handle… If you’re not careful, th-that kind of stress could cause some SERIOUS problems…!” You looked up to Sun “...You said Moon was back to normal, right?” Sun nodded his head “Y-Yes, I-I don’t know how long for or-or if maybe… He’s back for good, I-I can’t promise that, I-I just… I… . . . W E don’t want to hurt you” You sighed “...I-I don’t wanna get hurt either b-but if he’s as good as you say he is… …I-I don’t want to be afraid of him, I-I want to meet him, the REAL him, n-not the buggy or virus or WHATEVER he WAS” Moon was at a loss for words, you already wanted to see him again…? He figured you’d NEVER want to see him EVER again, much less this quick… Sun was also shocked, the pair were equally as worried, they knew you couldn’t handle much more stress, you had already endured so much and it wasn’t that long ago!

There was a long pause, the only sound was the sounds of the music that played on the speakers, looping continuously like you had grown used to, Sun and Moon seemed to be contemplating “...I-If Moon doesn’t want to, I-I understand, heh… He probably thinks I’m insane, huh?” Sun paused, seemingly listening to Moon before he chuckled a little at that “Oh absolutely, we BOTH think so~ …But, Moon says if you REALLY want to see him… Then h-he’ll come back out but only if I keep myself close to the lightswitch …JUST in case” You nodded “Sounds like a plan to me then” Sun then reached down for you, you did flinch a little but it was just… You had to get used to being held again, Sun was extremely gentle as he held you, it felt nice, such a gentle touch… Sunny then walked over to the lightswitch, rather slowly, Moon was panicking deep down [ Moony, listen to me… I-I’m sure it’ll be okay… ] . . . { …Sunny… …I… I’m scared… } There was a pause before Sun spoke up [ …I know, I… I’m scared too but I know you want to… Apologize and make amends, you can do this, Moony ]

Moon quickly spoke back up { Sunny… I need you to promise me, if I start losing myself again, you’ll quickly switch the lights back on before I FULLY take control, p l e a s e… I-I don’t want to hurt them… } Sun sighed but he had a bit of a tired smile on his face [ I will Moony, I promise you I will… You’ll be okay, I’ll be right here with you ] he spoke back up by the time Sun had reached the lightswitch and sat you down on a noisemaker tower that he dragged near { …I-I… Wh-What if they panic again…? I-I don’t know if this is such a good idea all of a sud- } Sun immediately cut him off [ Moony, I told you, I’ll be right here with you… And they want this, they WANT to see you, to get things cleared up… ] Moon fell silent at that, and then Sun looked back at you “Are you ready, my little sunbeam? …I can give you a few more minutes if you need” You looked up to Sun then toward the lightswitch, it had a little design of the actual Sun and the actual Moon on it… Cute… You took a few deep breaths, the back of your head was screaming that you were insane for doing this, but oh well.

You then nodded “As ready as I’ll ever be…” Sun seemed to accept that “It’ll be alright, I promise, if something happens the lights will IMMEDIATELY turn back on, I’m here… For the b o t h of you…” And then Sun looked toward the lightswitch, a bit of hesitancy on his part, it had been a LONG time since he EVER considered turning the lights off, it almost felt unnatural to him now… …And he was also technically breaking the one rule he set long ago but …He felt like it could be broken this time, Sun then pushed the button, the lights turning off except for a few around to at least light up bits of the Daycare, the glow in the dark decals shining bright, and instead of silence… There was soft music playing, it sounded like the theme that looped before except like a music box version of it, faint shh’s echoed in the background, you stared at Sun who didn’t scream this time like earlier, in fact it was… Peaceful, this time it felt right.

The switch didn’t seem painful, it didn’t seem forced, in fact you could dare say it seemed downright hesitant which you weren’t surprised about, you were feeling hesitant now as well and very nervous… The colors changed, much cooler like the ones you had seen earlier, the faceplate being much darker colors, a nightcap coming from god knows where and being placed on his head, but this time instead of red glowing eyes… His eyes glowed a soft blue color, that didn’t necessarily ease your nerves right now because in all honesty you still felt VERY nervous, you wondered if this was a good idea but it was too late to back out now, you watched as he looked around, seemingly nervous himself before looking down at you, you flinched under his gaze which you expected yourself to.

However Moon stayed still, in his spot, hand glued to the lightswitch just in case, he didn’t have razor sharp teeth but normal teeth, much like Sun’s this time… And another thing you noticed, his hands, they didn’t have those claws so it made you wonder if those were retractable, such a weird design but you weren’t here to complain about a robot’s design! You somewhat got shaky, nerves failing you when his eyes landed on you, soft blue glow enveloping you, his eyes widened a moment, looking extra nervous, the two of you were silent, seemingly observing one another before Moon finally spoke up “U-Uh… H-Hello… Starlight …It’s nice to… P r o p e r l y meet you…” Another thing that changed, his voice, it wasn’t raspy or creepy at all, it held a gentleness behind it, kindness as well… “...Ni-Ni… Nice to u-uh m-meet you too …M-Moon…” …Okay d a m n this was REALLY awkward but you honestly didn’t know what you were expecting, after all that’s happened, it was extremely awkward between the both of you.

Moon didn’t hesitate any longer, he had a smile on his face, it wasn’t sinister like the one earlier, it seemed much sadder if anything… “...Starlight… I… I’m so sorry… I didn’t want to hurt you, I NEVER wanted to hurt ANYONE… I wish I knew what happened to me but I’m afraid I just… Don’t, I don’t remember where I could have… Encountered a bug, a virus, or ANYTHING of the sort, but… I-I… I’m fine now… …I hope it lasts…” You nodded, huh... In a strange sort of way, there was a similarity, you don’t remember what happened to you either that made you this small and he seems to not remember what infected him... “...Me too bud, me too… …I uh, listen… I-I won’t deny, you REALLY terrified me earlier but, I… I can’t hold it against YOU, you said it yourself, you didn’t WANT to hurt me, or anybody, sounds to me like you weren’t in control of yourself, huh?” Moon’s smile faltered, he looked disappointed in himself “...I wasn’t… I-I should be STRONGER though, I shouldn’t falter to something like this” You frowned, you felt bad for him “Moon… It, it’s NOT your fault, I’ll be honest, we all have things we falter to from time to time, I guess a virus or a bug or whatever is something akin to an illness for someone like you guys, yeah?”

Moon shrugged one arm, still not daring to take his hand away “I suppose you could view it as such but still… I-I’ve done terrible things and I’m… I’m honestly scared I’m going to KEEP doing terrible things, I don’t WANT to be a monster, I don’t WANT to hurt anyone, but it’s s o hard… To fight it… It b u r n s” He hissed somewhat, freezing up when he saw you flinch “I’m sorry little star… I just wish whatever it was… Would get o u t of me… I want to go back to normal, I want to be my old self again” You were frowning, you felt honestly bad for him, the poor guy GENUINELY seemed like he didn’t want to hurt anyone, and again, there were similarities to you two, you both wanted to go back to a sense of normalcy, you took a deep breath “...Well, for the most part… You seem to be back to normal, you seemed to… Like, I dunno… Wh-When I was having a panic attack earlier, your programming, it seemed like what’s left of your old programming took hold and combatted the problem” Moon nodded at this “Yes which again, I’m so sorry for… I… I…”

You shook your head “I told you, I… I forgive you… I can't imagine how it must be to watch through your own eyes as something is controlling you… Forcing you to do things you NEVER want to do…” Moon nodded “I’ve tried so many times to fight it… I guess I finally won …At least this time, I want to hope it’s gone but I just… I can’t get my hopes up, I just can’t… Not after everything that’s happened” You nodded, you could understand that in a way, different ways… His being well, you know and then you had lost hope that you’d EVER find out what happened, why you suddenly woke up so tiny… and then he seemed to scan you for a moment and then he frowned “By the way… Your chin, i-is it alright?” You had almost forgotten about that, you placed a hand to it, cringing slightly.

“It… Still hurts a bit, I should… Really get a bandaid on this…” Moon opened his chest cavity suddenly which startled you, you saw all the complex machinery inside, the wires, and well essentially what made him function, also stored in his chest cavity was some band-aids… He grabbed a box of them, there were two themes, one being Sun’s and the other being his, he of course grabbed his theme. Moon was about to walk over but then gasped, he looked back to the lightswitch “I… I can’t…” He began to say but then he heard Sun’s words in his head [ Moony… It’s alright, it’s okay… If they’ll allow it, you should put a band-aid on that, I would’ve done so but it slipped my mind! ] Moon froze at that { S-Sunny, n- no n o no…! I can’t, I WON’T leave the lightswitch, i-if I do something bad could happen and- and and- } Sun interrupted again, his tone gentle if not a little tired [ Moony… It’s alright… If something happens I’ll be SURE to take care of it, I’ll force my way through if I need to and turn the lights back on, nothing bad has happened so far…! ] …Sun did have a point, in fact Moon didn’t feel anything happening deep down, not yet anyways.

But he still wasn’t sure, he thought about it for a few moments, looking down at you then at the lightswitch, and then listening to Sunny reassure him, always the reassuring and positive one, Moon smiled slightly, he looked back at the lightswitch, hesitantly, he let his hand free from it, his hand somewhat shaking as he took one step away from it, he stood there for a few minutes, a few minutes longer than he really needed to… And sure enough, nothing happened… [ See silly~?! I told you it’d be alright~! ] Sun cheered in delight which made Moon smile even wider, he sighed in pure relief as he then looked back at you, you felt nervous as he got closer “May I, Starlight…? I-It’s okay if you don’t want me touching you of course, I understand… But I do want a band-aid put on that cut…” You thought about it for a few moments, it’d be REALLY difficult to put the band-aid on yourself, you looked up to him, smiling slightly which surprised him, even more of a shock when you said “...I don’t mind, go ahead” Moon reached into the box, pulling out the smallest band-aid they had for you.

Moon then placed the box back into his chest cavity, closing it up, being careful so it didn’t make a loud noise, the animatronic gazed down at you, you noticed quickly instead of a sinister look of malice, it was one of tenderness, a loving gaze even… Moon reached a hand down, you couldn’t help but flinch a little at it but he seemed to understand, he peeled the paper bits of the band-aid off and then with both hands, he carefully began to apply the bandage to the wound, unlike earlier you DEFINITELY noticed the much gentler approach, his hands steady and calm despite him seeming incredibly nervous to be away from the lightswitch. You were a bit tense, with his hands so close but you took a deep breath and relaxed. In fact, instead of merely relaxing, when he got finished applying the bandage, you actually decided to get a little bold, you climbed up and onto his hands which startled Moon “I-I…! (Y/N)...! Wh-What are you…” He began to trail off as he watched you, you didn’t say anything this time, you merely looked down at his hands which were now cupped to hold you.

You reached forward, gesturing for him to curl his fingers, Moon seemed confused at first but then he remembered… Even though he wasn’t in control of himself, he heard and saw everything, granted it was through that t h i n g ‘ s eyes instead of his own, he remembered in particular, you did something like this with Sun… Trust, a trust exercise perhaps? Moon fell silent, Sun however was absolutely overjoyed and wouldn’t hush. This needed to be done, not only for him but for ALL of you in all honesty.

Moon watched you closely after curling his fingers inward, you did occasionally glance back at him, okay this was a bad idea… You were shaking slightly, fuck… Why did you get so bold all of a sudden?! And WHERE did that even come from? You looked up at his fingers, you took a few moments before reaching up to touch them, gently grasping at them and thumbing over them, much like Sun’s… He seemed to also have those squishy pads, he definitely didn’t have them earlier which was weird but you weren’t complaining, you had to focus… This was a TRUST exercise, you were bonding, albeit in a weird way but it was a way. Moon was completely silent, but he looked like he was relaxing with each passing second, this was good… You then turned back around and much like earlier with Sun, granted this was in reverse. You motioned for him to lean down, this time he did so without hesitation, Sun was ASCENDING right now in their mind.

Sun was so proud! This was going so well! So wonderful! Moon rolled his eyes a bit at Sun’s reaction, and how loud he was being, as he leaned down you actually didn’t flinch this time, a VAST improvement already and if Sun was watching and listening like you knew he was, he was probably in heaven right now at this interaction. You gently brought a hand up, Moon keeping his mouth closed, okay this looked very silly… Like earlier but either way, the two of you were getting bolder now… Much less hesitant and nervous as you reached up to brush a palm against his faceplate and then you motioned for him to bring you up higher… He did so annnnd… You gently booped his nose, smiling and giggling a little, this made Moon lean back, a soft smile on his face as he laughed, the laugh didn’t sound menacing either “...Cute little starlight…” He mumbled, there was a long pause before Moon decided to be the bold one now.

Except he wanted to ask beforehand “...May I…?” He gestured rather vaguely to you but you knew exactly what he wanted “...You may, Moony, it’s okay …I…” You paused for a moment before looking up, locking eyes with him, giving him a gentle smile “...I trust you…” And that made Moon blush finally, his blush was a dark blue compared to the bright pink one Sun had, it was cute… The animatronic then made sure you were sitting in the middle of his palm as he took his other hand away, he was a bit hesitant with this part, he was so worried of frightening you again but …You said you trusted him, which he didn’t expect to hear in all honesty, so he also had to trust himself within this one moment… He brought a finger up to your head and began to gently start petting you, the both of you were silent for this moment, you just leaned into his touch which he was surprised about, this seemed to give him confidence back though as he continued to pet your head for a few moments.

Then finally, he moved down to your arm, you saw the look in his eyes, in fact his eyes widened even… He looked nervous again, you spoke up only to give him reassurance “...It’s okay Moony… …Like I said, I… I trust you… Just like I trust Sun” He still hesitated for a moment before he finally took your arm between his fingers, he was so much gentler than earlier, it definitely gave you a lot of relief and it seemed to give him the same as well, he gently thumbed over your arm, the soft pads felt nice on your skin… He thumbed over it a bit longer than Sun did and that seemed to give him the confidence he needed, he moved down to your hand, holding it in between his fingers, so tiny against just those alone. You were blushing somewhat yourself now at the way this interaction was going, Moon broke the silence with a chuckle however.

“My my… Someone’s rather red-faced~” He teased, this made you grumble “What happened to keeping s i l e n t, Moony…? Tch, rule breaker…!” You called, he gasped in mock offense “R u d e…! I am no rule breaker, there was never a no talking rule established, that is c h e a t i n g, little star… Naughty naughty” You laughed at that “...Okay fine, fair enough, you got me there… But hey, YOUR blushing too so you can’t say anything…!” Moon grumbled, rolling his eyes and looking away “...Er… Tch” He scoffed “Wh-Whatever” …Alright tsundere soundin’ ass you thought to yourself. And then Moon let go of your hand in favor of reaching up and then pressing a finger to your nose, giving it a little boop, he giggled at that, as did you… This was nice, you two were VERY visibly relaxed now, the trust exercise worked! Success! And then Moon was calling out for Sun in their head to which he got no response, he then laughed “...Well it appears Sunny has ascended and is temporarily gone from this world… …He seems happy now at least” You nodded “I’m sure he is… You seem happier too, this is… Nice…”

And then you suddenly yawned to which Moon tilted his head at “Oh? Sounds like someone is e x h a u s t e d… I can’t say I blame you, after all, moonlight… You have had an EXHAUSTING day, you should get some rest… It will do your body good” Moon paused for a moment before sighing “It’s WAY past your bedtime… It’s so l a t e…” He grumbled... -I'm actually caught up on how he would take to dirty talk tbh since a lot of it I've seen or heard involves some form or another of calling your partner a slut or whatever. Seems to be popular. On one hand if he's secretly a masochist, he might be into it. But on the other, he also seems like he might take anything you say to him to heart and beat himself up over it and would ultimately not like it. Also probably would not be comfortable if he did the dirty talking and assuming he manages to make it through the night without apologizing to you for everything he says, then you'll hear it when you finish.

Season 1: The Rankings

WOW it’s been ages since I’ve posted here. But before moving on to s2, I wanted to talk about my TOP TEN FAVE EPISODES.

Something that surprised me about spn now i’ve finally watched some of it is how variable the episodes are in terms of quality. They’re not afraid to experiment either, and that flexibility is probably one reason this show lasted so long. Some things worked for me, some things didn’t. ANYWAY these are my opinions etc. just from a first time watcher!! 1.) Episode 6: SKIN. This episode, man. Where to even begin: I could be here all night. Suffice to say that the sequence where the shapeshifter sheds his Dean skin to “Hey Man Nice Shot” is just. Chef’s kiss. For the first time, the true depth of Dean’s self loathing truly came to the fore. How socially outcast he knows himself to be, all that hidden shame, that resentment he harbours towards Sam for having (potentially) a way out of the hunter life, coupled with his desperation not to lose him to the “normal world”: somewhere that Dean knows he can’t follow him. After so much posturing and bravado, that inner parodox was SO interesting to witness - he SHOOTS HIMSELF at the end -- and, for me, really steered the character into more *~ thematically complex territory ~* All the songs were good tbh. In-a-Gadda-da-Vida? Yes. 11/10

2.) Episode 11: SCARECROW. There was just so much going on in this episode, but the thing I liked most was the setting. It looked so good!! Autumnal and pastoral. After a couple of (in my opinion) not very good-looking episodes, it was a real breath of fresh air. I also loved Sam in this episode: he looked so small standing by the side of that road. I fully understood the argument, but I also loved how dean just... called him intermittently to update him on the case?This episode really drove home to me how alone they are, how they really have no-one but each other. It also really highlighted how far Sam has drifted from episode 1: he’s on the fringes now, too. All too quickly backsliding into the role of rootless grifter, an identiy he’d tried so hard to claw his way out of. Also, there’s a tome. 10/10

3.) Episode 12: FAITH. This. Episode. Slaps. To be honest, this is probably technically the masterpiece of the season in terms of plot, visuals, antagonist, music etc. but w/e it’s my list. Right off the bat Dean is dying and he’s like it’s fine Sammy, I’m not even mad about it, which is fucked up but then what is more fucked up is that his dad doesn’t even come when Sam leaves him a message? Dean seems to view dying as like. A thing grownups just have to do sometimes. Like jury duty. It’s extremely,extremely sad. Anyway I love the drama of Sam smashing apart the altar, I love the big tent, I love the “don’t fear the reaper” montage. It’s all, quite simply, a *~cut above~* 10/10

4.) Episode 7: HOOK MAN. I don’t know if I was meant to love this episode so much?? I just really, really liked it. I loved the central mystery, and I thought Sam in particular really shone when it came to dealing with the townsfolk and the afflicted girl. It was one of the most thematically coherent episodes when it came to tying the monster to sublimated fear, in this instance, sex and sexuality! Damn do Americans have a weird relationship with sex. And not just with women; this episode really shone a spotlight on Sam’s sexuality wrt his guilt over Jess, his desire for normality, his coltish nervousness in Lori’s presence. There was SO. MUCH. Bonus points for ugly mid-2000s fashions. 10/10

5.) Episode 3: DEAD IN THE WATER. This was the first episode which really made me sit up and go, oh, okay. I can see why people lose their minds over this show. When it’s good, Supernatural just. Shoots a volt of pure catharsis straight into your chest. This was also the first time I really sat up and took note of Jensen Ackles’ acting chops. There’s just so much going on with him every time he’s onscreen, and each little paradoxical turn he gives to Dean’s character is a joy to witness. It was a visually beautiful episode, with a strong supporting cast. The moment I saw her in her silky lavender nightgown, twisting up her unrealistically perfect chingoin, I wished to marry Amy Acker’s character. I know she doesn’t come back to spn but she should’ve!! She should’ve!! 10/10

6.) Episode 5: BLOODY MARY. I’ve heard tell of this episode being a bit of a fandom classic, and I support it. The last few minutes at the end? When Sam sees Jess at the side of the road in that slow panning shot, to the Rolling Stones song Laugh I Nearly Died? It was just... I think it changed me as a person, honestly. This show. It’s lower down on the list for me because how how freaking dark the lighting was at the end, but that might have just been the poor quality stream I found. But yeah, I really liked the plucky teen girl who helped them; I was pleasantly surprised to see a glamourous queen bee-type portrayed as smart and competent, and remain alive by the end. Gold star for you, spn. I know it’s all downhill from here. 9/10

7.) Episode 15. THE BENDERS. First off, I have to give it points for the production design on that house. My brother was of the opinon it would’ve made a good video game enviroment (according to him a lot of spn is akin to a video game which... yeah). This episode also made me really acutely feel for Dean. Could it be because I’m an older sister and this was a literal nightmare scenario? Perhaps. But again what really came to the fore was the single-mindedness with which Dean acted. Sam being dead was literally not an option for him. On a lesser show that might have been left as a given, but the time was really taken to give an almost sinister intensity to Dean’s thoughts and behavior. Some really pretty car shots too. 9/10

8.) Episode 17: HELL HOUSE. What can I say about this? It’s just fun. I love the two conspiracy guys, I love the sibling prank war, I love the concept of a monster created by shared belief. The set design was cool, as was the montage at the beginning where they’re interviewing all the witnesses. It’s a briskly paced and lighthearted episode, which was a breath of fresh air and welcome break after last episode left the Winchester boys abandoned by their father. Yet. Again. Ugh. Throw the whole dad away. 9/10

9.) Episode 19: PROVENANCE. Haunted painting! Haunted! Painting!! This is a simple lil episode but it receives points for Sam and Dean’s best and least convincing disguises thus far -- art dealers -- and a fun, sweet love interest for Sam. He’s so bashful! I thought she was smartly written and I especially liked that she took a more active role and actually helped them solve the case than other side characters we’ve seen so far. I also liked when they were standing over the grave and she was like wow, your lives are really fucked up... it’s true wtf these poor guys?? Anyway 8/10

10.) Episode 14: NIGHTMARE. This spot was a real toss-up between this and SOMETHING WICKED, but NIGHTMARE just edged it out because of the strong supporting character Max, as well as the sheer conceptual power of psychic Sam. Something about the way Dean treats his brothers latent psychic powers as... kind of a concern, but ultimately about on a par with him developing, like, a shellfish allergy, is hilarious to me. They have so many problems, it’s just low priority! Sorry Sammy. But what really clinched this episode for me was the three second-ish sequence where Sam shoves the dresser free with his mind, Dean gets shot in his vision, and Sam bursts into the room. Brilliance. Someone call the x-men. My heart was in my mouth. BIG minus points however for the extensive heart-to-hearts. It was just too much for me. It went on for so long. 7/10

This certainly is a show. I see that now. Anyway. Onto season 2!

He doesn’t really try to listen in; it’s not his place and he won’t judge the staff based on whatever rumors are running around, but Spirits is it interesting. He tries not to listen too much, or get too invested in it though. Gossip is gossip after all, and rumors hardly ever turn out to be true.

But Zuko absolutely needs to know if Maya from the laundry room broke up with her piece of shit boyfriend.

A/W 2020 Fashion Month & Top 20 Collections: Before Vogue Went Blank (Part 4)

Hi all,

Welcome to part 4! It’s gonna be a bit of a shorter one because I wasn’t sure if I could fit the last few collections into my part 3 since I also want to include a ranking of my favourite F/W20 shows. I have so many ideas for what I’d like my next few posts to be (there’ll probably be a bit of gap between them as I would like to try and get some fiction writing in too) and I need help and recommendations on one post in particular so I thought I’d open by explaining that if anyone would like to send me suggestions! The post is basically going to highlight the often under-appreciated personal style of PoC, and I’d also like to make sure I include all types of bodies and genders and ethnicities (other than white girls, as we get enough credit as it is, all a tall, skinny blonde woman has to do is wear some light wash jeans, heels and a blouse and high fashion Twitter are posting non-stop about how incredible her style is)! This can be a celebrity, a model, an influencer or even just one of your friends if you think they deserve some hype too! Obviously there’s only so many photos I can include but I will make sure to look at any suggestions, though of course I’m gonna be biased towards the grungier looks; I gave Dolls Kill a pass for a long time because I thought the brand had changed and become more responsible over the last few years but since Shoddy Lynn’s thoughtless Instagram post during the protests last month and then her lacklustre response video, I say fuck that “goth is white” bullshit, alternative black women are hot af. I’ll also make sure to include a list of my favourite black owned clothing lines I’ve seen people talking about on Twitter and Instagram so again, if you have any suggestions feel free to inbox me. Other than that, I have a couple of lookbooks planned and after, either a post about my favourite shows for style inspiration OR a lookbook depending on whether I have the clothes to do it already/can source a few things from Depop-Depp-I’ve made a commitment not to buy anything new for the next couple of months and I want to stick to that this time round! I’d also like to do a general collation of my favourite summer outfits, an almost scrapbook-y kinda post, and another post on some of my favourite fashion icons (I’ll probs end up repeating a lot of the women from the post I was talking about above but I’ll try and include different outfits to keep it varied!).

Now, into the final part, and the top 20, starting with Tory Burch (I’m really pissed off because I added an unnecessary E in after the R and now Tumblr is once again being stupid and not saving any of my editing changes-also I said on the next post instead of in in the last paragraph and my anal-retentiveness is kicking into high gear).

You’d think it’s a kinda anti-climatic one to open with but I do like this collection! It reminds me a bit of last season’s Miu Miu but more so of Brock’s general aesthetic, though with more layers and in some ways to its detriment, a lot more wearable. Looking like something from a bygone era is part of what gives Brock its mystique, but Burch’s designs are practically made for the Chelsea born and bred lifestyle blogger who dresses for a cold spell in the Coachella valley all year long and treats trawling Pimlico’s furniture shops and meeting their girlfriends for coffee like it’s a full-time job. She’s probably born into money and doesn’t work all that hard but hey, she looks angelic holding a bouquet of flowers and in 2020 we all low-key want her life, right? It’d go against my ethics but...*whispers* it would be nice to be that girl just for a couple of days. It is a gorgeous collection, with a lush colour palette and an ever graceful variety of prints and textures, and it toes the line of being accessible and being worthy of a fashion week spot with dexterity. 8/10 and it only loses marks because it’s safe for the brand.

When it comes to Valentino, they’re a pretty reliable favourite for me, and this season’s collection doesn’t break tradition; this one is slightly grittier than usual too which is a big win for me. Whilst the usual sophistication and delicate details are there, quirky embroidery, sequins and tulle, we also get a lot of leather and more black than usual, which I pray doesn’t a herald a return to people thinking “I only own black clothes and listen to Artic Monkeys” is a personality trait. I don’t know if it’s intentional, but there seems to be a lot of aquatically inspired pieces in this collection too; the 3d roses resemble scales to me (and are a really unique texture), and the way the tulle is placed kinda reminds me of fins and has a mermaid on land feel. It wouldn’t surprise me, since Valentino does tend to draw from nature quite a bit. Highs for me were the Valentino red tulle piece and the tulle pieces in general, of course with the embroidered florals as well which the basic bitch in me always looks forward to. The few lows were concentrated in the leopard print section, a print that for me is really overdone and reminds me of recent Dolce and Gabbana. It was cool when layered with the matching coat but I otherwise could’ve done without it.

Vera Wang is another one of my reliable faves-I think I like this collection even more than the last, it really is a fucking DREAM. The overly floral pieces I wasn’t too keen on but I’ll ignore that on the basis that as with Gucci, the tulle-harness combo is everything I look for in a dress and more. I know manic-pixie-dream-girl is a bit of a slur (not a slur slur but you know what I mean) in terms of the associated character, but this 90s Courtney Love grunge twist on that aesthetic is gold, fully realised big anarchist fairy energy (which is a screen name I’m surprised I don’t see more often and which I might now steal). These dresses were made for someone like Zoe Kravitz or FKA Twigs on the red carpet, and if god forbid I somehow ever ended up on one, I would go to the ends of the earth to be wearing one of the dresses from this collection. Aside from the dresses, I appreciated the moody doesn’t-want-to-be-at-the-family-function teenager inspired sleeves and the 2014 Tumblr Cruel Intentions style knee high socks. Love, love, LOVE it.

So, Versace started off strong with the all black looks-the cut outs were cute if impractical and the fit and flare trousers in particularly were really well fitted (from a distance, at least). I hated the film Red Sparrow but the visuals were very cool, and this section reminded me of that, like a high fashion collection based on Jennifer Lawrence’s character. There were some stunning colour combos in the Ashish like hyper-floral part too, and the houndstooth, marble and Versace tile prints were sick. The black jumper with the flowers on reminds me of a jumper of my nan’s I always wanted that my aunty ended up donating to a charity shop after she died not knowing I liked it. Gutted (not just about the jumper obviously, looool).

HOWEVER, as with many 91 look collections, it was sloppy at times. A lot of pieces I at first liked (I.E the silver dress we saw Kendall Jenner in, included above) are kind of unfinished up close. There was also a big varsity inspired section which was nice at times but got pretty repetitive and occasionally looked like it could pass for Jack Wills or a bad Michael Kors collection. On the whole, it had both its pros and its cons which puts it directly in the middle of the pack.

Victoria Beckham’s collection is near the lower-middle quartile when it comes to plotting the highs and lows of the F/20 collections. The pieces are pretty and accessible, I’d definitely wear them, but they’re predictable and mostly a rip-off of other brands who did something similar in a more interesting way. Though her collections are never really experimental, this one is particularly safe, and she and whoever helped design this season’s pieces were clearly avoiding the edges of the box like a child playing the floor is lava. It’s alright, and I hate coming towards the end of the post with negativity, but I have to be honest, and this just doesn’t really interest me beyond a “yeah, that’s nice” glance.

Vivienne Westwood, on the other hand, is always interesting whether I would actually wear it myself or not. Despite the mix and matchiness that is essential to the deconstructed look, which being the basic bitch I am I often struggle to see past, there were some gorgeous pieces and eurgh, I could really talk about that Bella Hadid look all day. The contrast between the exaggerated femininity of the waist cinchers against the androgyny of the less structured, oversized pieces is a really interesting one and the colour combinations work beautifully together. I also love the idea behind the collection, which is, in the words of Andreas Kronthaler about “rites of spring, and the good and the bad, and conflict, and the good prevailing over evil”. Ahhh, I hear you say. THAT’S what’s with the garlic necklace. Can I get another pat on the back for summing up this collection as “vampire slaying uniform” in my notes? I mean, that’s kind of a good vs. evil situation, isn’t it? I know it’s hard to ignore how hot vampires always are in TV series and movies but just think of the true forms of the ones off Penny Dreadful and remember THEY DRINK BLOOD (I personally think being a vampire would be really cool, just need to work out how to do it “ethically”).

Lastly, Zimmerman, and I really can’t say how happy I am to end on a positive note because this collection was stunning. Not without all the characteristically ornate, indulgent and painstakingly detailed efforts we’ve come to expect from Nicky and Simone Zimmerman, these looks (in an icy winter themed colour palette as well) are the offspring of a sophisticated flower child and a 70s glam rocker and I think with this sentence I’ve finally put my style aspirations into words. Honestly, give me the money to produce a modern day Almost Famous and I’ll make my character this no-nonsense intersectional feminist front woman of a fictional Haim-like band who sings with the voice of an angel but is rock and roll as fuck and eats men for breakfast and I’ll put her in this collection and (deep breath) it would be ICONIC. There. Got to the point eventually. Am I talking about a 2020s version of Steve Nicks? Possibly. After all, I do have a framed illustration of her on my wall. But regardless, I need those lace-up velvet BOOTS, that mesh dress with the celestial embroidery, the flame detail pieces, the white pussy bow blouse with the eyes on it. Everything is sooo dreamy; when I was looking through the collection for my favourites, I saved pretty much every. single. look. IT’S EVERYTHING I STRIVE TO BE. WHY CAN’T I AFFORD ZIMMERMAN GOD DAMN IT!?

See, I’ll be going on about Zimmerman in a couple of paragraphs again because it will be very high in my top 20, which I’m so glad is a top 20 BTW. I know I said it would be a top 10 in my last post because I thought that was how I structured it last time but I double checked and it is 20, which is a relief; once again, picking only 10 collections would be very hard. SO! Let’s get into it!

1. Gucci

I hate being predictable but Gucci once again holds the top spot for me. How could I not love this? I would say that I hope Alessandro Michele fucks up next season so I don’t come off as a boot licker but when the boots in question are platform Mary Janes and knee high socks and they’re underneath tulle with BDSM inspired harnesses on top...maybe boot sole doesn’t taste so bad after all.

2. Zimmerman

Well, I did say it wouldn’t be long until you were seeing the same outfits again, so at least you know my word is good.

3. Moschino

Wow, as if putting Gucci first again wasn’t bad enough, Moschino’s also a non-mover. But...Marie Antoinette this season and Picasso last? And this campy? It’s like Jeremy Scott reached into my brain magician-into-a-top-hat-style, picked out an interest of mine at random, and tried to communicate this to me through the medium of design with THE most chaotic energy humanly possible. I an only commend the man, because he succeeded, and I approve. It’s weird because before I always saw Jeremy Scott’s designs as tacky and yet I’ve loved all the collections I’ve reviewed, so I must ask...are the collections getting less tacky or am I getting more tacky? Much to think about.

4. Vera Wang

The battle armour of a punk princess. Not very good at protecting against knives, arrows, bullets or...anything really, but I’ve never really been the kind of person to get into physical fights (apart with a bouncer who tried to push me down the stairs once at an ABBA night but I was really drunk and she was mean, alright!?), so who cares? Nobody can make you do anything in dresses this pretty.

5. Lanvin

I’m a few years behind everyone else but I’m still on the Mad Men hype train and I don’t ever want to get off. All I wish is that Betty Draper had *SPOILERS* divorced Don’s detty arse earlier and rode off into the sunset in that white Bella Hadid coat with the red lip to match (or the checkered one above will do).

6. Etro

As long as she remains the queen of dreamy bohemian fashion, I’m not gonna do Etro dirty by putting her any lower than this ever again on the basis that she’s not conceptual enough which ashamedly is what I implied in my last ranking-yes, Etro is a she because just as most women deserve more from men, she is beautiful and deserves better than my previous disrespect! I said what I said.

7. Dilara Findikoglu

I see your Thom Browne and your Commes Des Garcons and I raise you my “weird”-though-not-actually-that-weird-at-all-can-we-all-just-dress-like-this-on-a-day-to-day-basis-please? fave, Dilara.

8. Paco Rabanne

Battle armour that actually COULD protect you against knives, arrows, and bullets. Maybe. Well, you’d hope so anyway for the price.

9. Rodarte

Suddenly my phobia of spiders has evaporated. And no, it doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that these ones are diamond encrusted, what are you on about?

10. Alberta Ferretti

The colour combinations in this collection were stunning. Honestly. I just picked a really bad pic to illustrate that. Go read my first post to see (grifting 101: complete)!

11. Charlotte Knowles

I saw Bella Hadi wearing a Charlotte Knowles two piece, so I bought a Charlotte Knowles two piece.

12. Balenciaga

It’s occurred to me a couple of posts too late now on the basis that Tumblr is being a dick and won’t go back and let me edit stuff, even little typos, but I’m now wondering if there’s a link between the climate change theming of the show and the exaggerated structures of the pieces? Ya know, the whole abundance is killing the planet line of thinking? I know analysis isn’t exactly on brand with these silly mini captions and that oversized and exaggerated proportions is one of Balenciaga’s running motifs anyway buuut just a thought I had! And sidenote: I do believe overconsumption is killing the planet! The way I phrased that made it seem like I’m a climate change denying dickhead! That I am not! Maybe if I shave my head, legally change my name to Steve, get a British flag tattoo on my bicep, and spend every waking moment in my nearest Spoons I’ll get there but it’s not on the agenda quite yet!

13. Christopher Kane

16. Elie Saab

Blair Waldorf’s wet dream. Add in some platform boots and chain jewellery and now it’s my wet dream too.

Because Chuck Bass is creepy as FUCK and maybe it’s because I watched Gossip Girl at the ripe old age (lol) of 21 and most people watch it as teenagers but I don’t know why YOU WERE ALL SO OBSESSED WITH HIM! He tries to sexually assault Jenny who is about 14 in the VERY FIRST EPISODE. I think I went off on a tangent here but it had to be said. You girls have no taste.

Don Draper was an absolute dog, but he was played by Jon Hamm, and he might be one of the finest men on the planet. What’s your excuse, Chuck and Blair enthusiasts?

17. Miu Miu

As someone who has probably been/met many a spoilt brat in her time, I appoint Miu Miu as the official sponsor of the Spoilt Brat™ aesthetic and yeah, that’s something I just made up but I’m on the money here. Imagine one of those “daddy, can you get me a pony?” types all grown up. Are you telling me you don’t picture her in Miu Miu? Because that sounds like a lie.

18. YSL

The war flashbacks I get of the Friends episode where Ross tries to get out of those leather trousers aside (I know it’s PVC her not leather but they have the same sheen, you can’t deny it), these outfits turn me into the irl version of the heart eyes emoji. It’s not like I think this is the best collection I’ve ever seen, YSL could def push the boat out a bit in terms of experimentation, but there aren’t many people who wouldn’t look hot as fuck in one of these pieces

19. Balmain

I didn’t like ALL of it, but the looks that I did like were amongst the ones that stuck out to me most when I was reflecting on the collections I’ve reviewed: the breast plates and silk capes and the scorpion detailing are real chef’s kiss moments.

20. Marques Almeida

Miss the collection that gave us this coat off the list? Never.

That is the end! Wow! I started saving the photos for this review back in late January/early February or whenever it was that the first fashion week began and now it’s mid-fucking July!? I don’t know if that speaks more to my incompetency or what a state the last few months have been. I’m not gonna write a super long ending paragraph because you’ve heard enough from me already and it’s 2:30am and I’m being hassled by Trump supporters on Twitter (literally just for stating that it’s a privilege to be able to pursue a career you truly have a passion for rather than having to be practical about finances first) anddddd I’ve got a closing shift tomorrow so I should probably log the fuck off and remove my clown makeup before it’s time to start my shift, lol!

Quick recommendation before I wrap this up, there was a really interesting debate on ITV literally a few hours ago on the Stephen Lawrence case that I thought I would recommend (they also showed the 1999 dramatic portrayal of events afterwards) about racism in England and whether or not much has changed since the murder. I didn’t catch the whole thing but from what I did see, there were some really strong points being made and I think it could be a good thing to sit and watch with your family members if you want to get talking about the Black Lives Matter movement and aren’t sure how to broach the topic. I bring it up because I feel like most middle-aged white people trust ITV so they’re less likely to turn their noses up (lol, I wish I was joking) at it and maybe go in with a more open mind. I’d like to keep the conversation about social issues going so if there’s anything you’d like me to get some information together on and make a post about-I read yesterday that there’d been arrests of THE PEOPLE PROTESTING the way Breonna Taylor’s death has been handled. No, not the police officers responsible for her death, the people simply pointing out that those police officers have done wrong. It’s a ridiculous situation and just shows how deeply embedded a police officer’s supposed right to kill and to use force is in upholding the American status quo. I wish I could end the post on better news, but let’s hope that next time I post, there is some, and as always thank you for reading til the end if you did get this far!
