Mattheo Riddle didn't like you. That was clear to anyone who saw you two interact, and honestly, there never seemed to be any kind of reason behind it.

The assumption was just basic house prejudice, but Mattheo was fine with other Hufflepuffs, so why were you so 'special'? You knew he had it in him to be nice, heck, you'd harboured a crush on him since third year, so why now had he decided to be an ass?

As a result you would confront him and he would say the obvious. 'you're so uncoordinated it's almost painful to watch.' Well unfortunately for you, it actually was painful.

So you could imagine the reaction when Snape paired you for potions.

"Careful."

"Shut up, I am being."

"CAREFUL!" He threw out a hand to steady a jar of frogspawn you had nearly knocked over. You glared at him.

"It wasn't my fault, it was in an awkward place..." You said quietly.

i love being cared for and spoiled just as much as the next lesbian, but it's so important to do the same for the other person in the relationship.

I'm a twitter larrie, although not a twarrie, even though I'm a recent member of the fandom (around 1.5 years in).

But I agree, twitter timeline is getting really toxic around these days, especially if people don't follow the right people, or they check the "for you" part. I do think it's very important to mute or block people who we think constantly provide into the chaos on twitter, otherwise it's really easy to get surrounded with toxic people or crazy theories, even if those people are larries.

To be honest lately I almost spend no time on the timeline, I'm a member of some really nice groupchats, and I even met some people from there personally on shows. I'm not saying we agree on everything, but the major points (Larry, L not a dad) are not questioned there.

Unfortunately new larries (regardless if they're on twitter, tiktok or even here) don't do any research, they just love the theory of Larry (I think they're more Larry shippers than real larries), and eat up everything they're presented to. And one of the most complex thing to understand is bbg, and it seems they're not willing to dive into it.

And tbh I could understand why. If there's a twitter larrie with a really good and detailed thread of bbg, but their next thread is about L watching the sunset in an adidas hoodie means the day before yesterday he was together with H, which is an utter nonsense, people tend to think the bbg thread was nonsense too. Favourite thing about them: We know almost nothing about him, which means I can make up whatever bullshit I want and then tell my friend about it as if it's canon. However, we do know that his name used to be Zhao Zhuliu and that he joined the Wen Sect because of some sort of debt he owed them. His loyalty to Wen Chao shows that he really does honour that debt, meaning he must be honourable and he must value debts and promises at least to a certain extent which is quite interesting. Its really frustrating, I know what I want to say but I just can't articulate it.

(I cannot emphasize how much this is subject to change and how I'd probably cringe at different parts of this if I weren't too tired to reread it)

- From what we gather, it was very quick canonically which.. Aaron's character would need a slower build up

- So after he first reveals his face to Aph, he's still distant from everyone

- They have small moments of bonding, of building trust

- Aph is the first to actually be interested romantically, despite being the last to realize

- Because Aph doesn't understand that getting flustered does not equal being in love

- Anyways, Aph falls in love with these small moments but Aaron

- Aaron just feels like it's a friendship building

- Like, trust

- He's starting to trust her slowly

- And.. maybe he's staying around Phoenix Drop for more than "I'm worried" reasons

- Maybe he likes playing with the children

- How Hanae throws him apples as if he doesn't know they're from her

- How Dmitri bothers him about how to get strong

- And Donna's grateful for his help with Rollo, Lello, and especially Luca

- And yeah okay, maybe his- friend- was nice too

- Besides, someone needed help in the Irene dimension

- And how it happened.. he crushed any thoughts that Lily and Jacob could have had similar, because no that was impossible-

- No use getting his hopes up for anything else.

- Yeah, she was hurt

- And Aaron was beating himself up because of his shit communication skills

- And he didn't like that, in his opinion, he fell in love with Aph because of her resemblance to Lily

- Eventually Laurance confronts him because Aphmau is upset because of you

- So he puts his big boy pants on and talks to her

- In the most vulnerable state she's ever seen him be in

- It's a messy monologue about his late wife and son, his time with her and Phoenix Drop, and- his feelings for Aphmau

- Which made him realize it was not because of her and Lily being similar

- Because the more he talked about Aph

- The more he realized, she wasn't like Lily at all.

- Aphmau was loud and hyper in comparison to Lily's quiet and calm.

- And they were both kind but Aphmau was also incredibly selfish and would choose who she loved over what's best for the situation.

- She really wasn't Lily, she was Aphmau

- Lily would always stay in his heart, he could make some space for Aphmau too, he supposed

- It ended in "oh Irene, I'm sorry."

- His head hung low because he was so ashamed

- And Aphmau- she had some things to think about

- But first: she tried to comfort him

- And he kept telling her not to, it wasn't her problem. She had Laurance and Garroth to think about-

- But the thing is, she wasn't sure she felt anything more than friendship for those two

- The guy who seemed so tough but had so many soft spots?

- Kawanishi ABSOLUTELY lays his head on Yamagata's stomach during his period. The slight pressure helps, plus his tummy is warm from the heating pad

- Semi and Reon surround Shirabu on his week because it keeps him warm. And idk what it is about being warm on the week, but it's just nice

- Yamagata's mood swings are pretty intense. During the first few times, Kawanishi is TERRIFIED that he'll make one wrong move and Yamagata will get upset ✋️😭

- ReonSemi have mastered the art over some time 💀 that in no way means they're perfect. They (*cough cough* SEMI *cough cough*) still set Shirabu off from time to time. (And it's not fun at ALL)

- Them being trans, I'm not completely sure whether they'd change in the locker room or just in the bathroom normally. But during their week they DEFINITELY change in the bathroom.

- Sets off a lot of body dysmorphia problems. Good thing they have each other to cry about it to 😪🤧

- He asks Yamagata for one but the mf doesn't have any either ✋️😭

- 2) Throws some money at one of his TEAMMATES and makes THEM run to the store

- Or 3) runs around asking girl students for product ✋️😭

- Shirabu gets his products in the end thanks to local super senior Yamagata 😪

- Before practices (especially practice matches) they usual take a painkiller in advance so that by the time practice comes it would have kicked in

- Shirabu probably reads a lot during his period. He doesn't feel like sitting at his desk he usually studies at, nor does he feel like studying at all. So he likes to just read, watch TV, or play on his phone

- Yamagata just lazes around, stuffing his face and watching whatever. (That's ok, he deserves it. Plus I do the same thing)

- Yamagata's go to "I'm dying" outfit is black sweats and a t-shirt/hoodie

- Shirabu's is some comfy shorts and a t-shirt/sweater/hoodie

- KawaGata usually orders a fuck ton of food and by the end they have a buffet. They eat it happily cuz damn periods suck and Kawanishi wants to see his boyfriend happy

- ReonSemi probably over worry 💀

- "Are you ok?" "Are you comfortable?" "Do you need something? Some painkillers? Some water? Anything?" "You know we'll get you Anything right-" "YES. I AM FINE."

- They're trying their best ✋️💀

- It's ok if they're suffering, because at least they can suffer together by crying on the couch with a bag of chips 😪

I want to write a story where the main charecter is one of those classic "Chosen one" archetypes. They were no one- shunned by their neighbors and abandoned by their people- then the former heros come along claiming that A is part of some grand prophecy.

They are taken to paradise - suddenly surrounded by friends and mentors - and for once in their life, they feel SEEN. But it also feels conditional - of course, they push those hesitations aside because they have a job to do in taking down BBG. They don't feel up to the task - who are they to take down BBG when they're some nobody who just so happens to be "gifted" by a God they don't believe in.

But what about when they finally meet BBG? Not in the middle of some battle - but heading back to their camp after the rest of their friends stay out partying - just saying they were tired and wanted to sleep. They run into BBG in the woods, which introduces themselves, and of course, A freaks out. But seeing BBG has no imminent incentive to hurt them, they hear them out.

The main villain wasn't born powerful. They were cunning, crafted, and forged an empire, They tell the hero this, their stories seeming all too similar.

"You're right, you know - you * aren't * some sort of secret weapon... you're just a kid. One who was targeted by these fallen heros and molded into what they wished themselves to be, you're smart, so im sure you've noticed it too.

How you always seem to be pushed towards what *they* want and expect of you

Do you really think that any of your so-called friends would even bother giving you the loose coins in their pouches if you weren't this divine chosen one? They don't care about you. They care about the person they imagine you to be, nothing more.

You're the sacrificial lamb to their agendas... be smarter than that - and don't be wasted down to some vessel they pump power into and discard once you've fulfilled your purpose"

"So that gives you three options- either you follow through with this and hope the friends you made in this short time, are as true as they present themselves to be, as if they'd pay you any mind if you were just **you** and not the chosen one

Or you could go home. You could throw in the towel and admit that this is more than you can handle - I assure you I wouldn't fault you for it- and neither should anyone else not ready to take the responsibility in your place

You could join me.

All that power and training would be a waste to just go back to that miserable life you lived before, but with me? You will Forge your *own* destiny - not as some Chosen one - but as my right hand in the dawn of a new era"

The Villian was right - it wasn't a matter of the hero growing into what the "chosen one" was supposed to be. He could have easily been one of thousands, but here he had a chance to take fate by its reins and change the world for those thousands left behind.

"I don't expect you to choose right away - it's a lot I know - and you'd be seen as the new enemy to your friends. But you've been gifted. You have your past that shaped you, and you have the power and opportunity to demand change for the injustice these elites would rather sweep under the rug. It's easier to put one man's head on a pike than save millions from a system built against them from day one"

Anyway that's just a random dabble- but I'm very invested in the idea of the chosen one not just "getting over" their past. Knowing that fate could've just as easily picked someone else. They can either follow the "Heros" path their being nudged on, accept the new life at face value and maintain it with the condition that they prove useful enough in saving the world.

OR They can use the power they've gained and choose their own path, one far more uncertain but one that they have personal agenda in seeing played out. They've seen the suffering and know that killing BBG will just cause a rise to another.

AKA GIVE ME CUNNING HERO WHO REFUSES TO BE "BOUGHT IN" BY SUPERFICIAL FRIENDSHIPS AND LAVISH LIFESTYLES THAT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN DENIED HAD HE BEEN ANYONE ELSE.
