i like Tucknut because on the surface they would be like, such an annoying couple to everyone around them. super obnoxious. constantly gossiping. can make everyone else go red with their innuendoes and dirty talk. utterly and completely shameless assholes just having the time of their lives

but underneath that, neither tucker nor donut are actually that good at being... open. at being open, honest, and vulnerable with themselves, much less other people.

i think a big part of their relationship, and the reason why it wouldn't fall apart or fizzle out, would be them having to learn to be open and to introspect a bit more.

for tucker to get more comfortable in asking for physical affection since (in my hc land) he's definitely super touchy-feely but would hate to let anyone know that. but donut would give that freely and gladly. for tucker to not force himself to look and act so tough all the time. to be able to accept looking "weak" from time-to-time

and for donut it'd be like, a safe space to complain. like really complain. to be able to vent about things without having to filter them through layers of entendres or obfuscate them through complaints about chipping a nail or whatever. to make him a bit less afraid to feel and show negative emotions. tucker fucking loves to call bullshit on things. i think he'd be good for donut like that. would be the one to validate his feelings, tell him he's right to be mad or upset or whatever else.

outwardly, they're that annoying couple, bane of everyone. annoying as fuck. but internally? i dunno mannnnn i think they'd just be really sweet together i'm going fucking crazy over them

and look i know i'm sailing alone (or with like, two other people. guy with the ghost roaster pfp, you're the GOAT) but i care very much about this lil watermelon-colored ship of mine (my first ever!) and i shall sail the seven seas with it

Alright now for that rarepair list since its rarepair week (unless it was last week then fucking hell brain we had a plan!). This isn’t all my rare pairs, just the ones that come to mind when I think of rarepairs. Putting under readmore cause it got long.

Tucker/Donut-Tucknut. Come on. This one is obvious. And I’m sure its a rare pair but *shrug* I’m honestly surprised its as rare as it is. These two are kind of similar with obvious differences. I just think it be good for both of them to sit down and talk.

Church/Doc- I have no explaination for this I am sorry.. Just that they are both comfort characters.

Sarge/Flowers- Bouquet of Bullets. Honestly as soon as I learned about Flowers and how he was blue leader back in BGC this became a sort of joke ship for me and then became more serious as I started thinking how exactly something like this could work.

South/Wyoming- BitterTea. Another one that started as a joke in an rp, then my rp partner made me fall in love with their interactions. Heck in alot of rps when its not Flyoming or South/CT its usually BitterTea.

South/CT- These girls, honestly if they had more screen time together we might of found out they had a deep friendship. Also there’s alot of angst in canon for it.

Jensen/Sister- JenSis. Okay this is like such a cute pair guys. Awkward nerd girl and the party girl. They’d be such cute girlfriends! Jensen would be out of her element with Kaikana around and Kaikana has a cute mechanic as a girlfriend. Also all the pre relationship flirting, Jensen not knowing if any of it is serious and Kaikana frustrated cause she’s not getting a reaction to the flirting.

Jensen/Smith- Okay so I headcanon that Jensen leans more to women but Smith is the only guy I can see Jensen with. In almost all aus, these two end up in an apartment together and are incredibly close. I don’t got a big explanation on this one but just.. its cute and endearing and I’d love to read fics for it one of these days.

Bitters/Palomo-Bitlomo. Okay this is THE Chorus arc rarepair for me. And I really am not sure what it is that made me ship it so much but like I really enjoy their interactions in canon and I like expanding on it in aus and rps. Often times these two end up being childhood friends who bicker quite abit and then the next day completely forget about the argument because it was over something silly anyway.

Grey/Doyle- Okay hear me out... they’re cute and Doyle seems so fond of Grey and Grey sees Doyle as a good person.

O’Malley/Felix- This is pure nonsense. Its kind of horrifying to think of too. And honestly the ship has turned into more of a “This is my shitty ex, I hate them,” kind of thing. In most rps where they were a thing, it was usually Felix who sought O’Malley out and they dated cause they saw something that remind themselves of themselves.
