So a little funny idea I had last night is what if Desmond reincarnated in Enchancia? He could be born in a random family or better yet as Sofia's brother? Since it's a musical I bet the first time he heard someone singing he was wondering why and where the music was coming from
I was debating if it would be better for Desmond to be Miranda’s oldest son or Roland’s oldest son.
Then I remembered part of the whole backstory of Roland is that his first wife died because he wished for a family so, in this one, Desmond is going to be Sofia’s older brother from Miranda’s first husband.
He thought he was just living in some sort of fantasy world that was heavily influenced by Disney fairy tales but he didnt know he was in a Disney fairytale.
He’s around 16 years old when Miranda married Roland and he and Sofia became prince and princess. He, of course, made sure to stress that he has no plans to aim for the throne and even made a contract that was magically ‘sealed’ by Cedric that shows his promise to never wish to become a king.
“I lived my life as a huntsman and I don’t see why I should stop being one.”
This, of course, sorta placed him a strange spot.
Because when they became royalty, that’s when the songs started. The first time he heard a song, it was Sofia’s song that showed how she’s worried she’s not cut out to be a princess and he honestly just assumed it was his sister singing to have an outlet.
Then the songs started to be accompanied by music that appeared out of nowhere when he began living in the castle.
Everyone just goes along with it as if it was natural.
When he asked his mother about it, she said “Our heart is our guide to the music that we sing. You just haven’t found your song yet.”
Desmond’s just “???” about the entire thing but this is a fairy tale world so okay.
But Desmond noticed the great divide between the nobility and the common people and, as much as he sees his step father as a good man…
Well…
The way he interacts with Cedric was certainly worrying.
But that’s not the worst of Desmond’s worry, to be completely honest.
See…
Desmond is a strange man to everyone. He was kind and sweet but he showed that he knows when it He even treats Cedric with kindness and treated him as an equal, sometimes scolding the king about berating Cedric in public.
(Sure, Sofia did as well but Sofia was usually in school or away in some adventure or something while Desmond stayed in the castle, hunting or helping out his mother. He didn’t have lessons on how to be a royal but he can handle things his own way (his own way being a combination of fallen Italian nobility from the 15th century and posh Englishman that is technically a noble from the 18th century).
All of this culminates in Cedric throwing away his goal of taking the throne for himself and aiming to make Desmond the king.
And the first thing he needs to take care of?
That pesky contract Desmond had him make to show his disinterest with being king.

Rewiew: The Amulet & The Anthem.
I confess that the lesson she needed to learn was important. However, the idea for the episode was not so well executed.
And you know that roulette of drawn names who would sing the Enchancia anthem? FRAUD! FRAUDED FOR SURE!
The guy who chose the name? He seemed very suspicious to me, not malicious in particular, but something tells me he already knew that the princess would be chosen...
( For some reason he reminded me of Sarousch from the second Hunchback of Notre Dame film? I don't know why, I think it's because he's a presenter, and he was very excited about having Princess Sofia perform at the festival. Trying to impress her with all the things she would receive if she sang. I don't know, his insistence seemed very suspicious to me. Like when a salesperson gives you a lot of compliments to make you buy a product from the store, that vibe.)
Don't you think that's too much of a coincidence that they chose the king's new stepdaughter, who was a commoner, to sing the Enchancia anthem in public?
It could have been for good, or for bad.
If someone had done it with good intentions, they would be trying to show how far a little peasant girl has come in life.
A simple peasant girl who became a princess, singing the anthem of the kingdom in which she was born and which now stands next to the throne, would show that Enchancia really is the kingdom where dreams come true.
So making her sing the anthem would be something very symbolic, encouraging unity and hope among the people of Enchancia.
If someone had done this with bad intentions, it would have been to cause some embarrassment to Princess Sofia. Or, even prove that Princess Sofia would become a "diva" like her stepsister, the moment she was at the center of the stage.
Even more so, with the number of portrait painters and interviewers around the princess. If she got angry, if she seemed spoiled, or anything less acceptable coming from a new princess, they would definitely end up reporting it.
Maybe this was actually a test for Sofia. Even coming from her own parents, to test whether his behavior would change if she received more attention.
Only instead of the accidental and sudden attention she received from being part of a new family, which would naturally make her very nervous and insecure. It would now be an intentional attention, for something she would have agreed to do on her own merit.
Honestly, I don't think Sofia was so rude to be cursed. If she had acted like James at the picnic of the three kingdoms, then I would agree that she messed up.
She was just excited to do something cool, she was going to sing her kingdom's anthem for her own people at a festival.
If you think that's bragging, then you certainly live with the most humble and sensible people in the world. Because that wasn't even close to being something arrogant, not even annoying enough I would say.
I think there's a reason: certainly the parents of the children who watched the show wanted it to be more "moralistic" to teach children better.
But an empty moral lesson is even worse than no morals at all. Because it discredits the morals themselves!
If you teach that morals are unfair and that's the way it is, children will be even less willing to follow them.
Who would enjoy playing a game if you find out that the rules are unfair? Nobody!
The same happens with empty morals.
I found it very funny how Cedric had almost no shame on his face of just turning the pages of the book in Sofia's face, and saying that he "looked" and couldn't find any spell to help her. She's not a fool Cedric, she's just innocent and has a good enough heart so as not to snitch his ill will to the king.
Even more so, him pretending that he was "worried" about her curse, and with a huge smile when he saw that she still hadn't broken the curse.

dating cedric diggory would include
author’s note: and here we are with another headcanon list, but this time make it for one of the best Hufflepuffs out there. and for personal reasons, Ceddy boy is alive and well. @kc-needs-coffee, this one’s for you, wifey🥂❤️💙 as always, reblogs and likes are very appreciated, but I respectfully ask that you please do not repost my work and claim it as your own! —xo, morgan💜
warnings: nothing really, just some nice, fluffy Cedric headcanons, brief mentions of food
Cedric is a very proud boyfriend, to say the least
like if you did so much as got out of bed and went about your morning routine, he’s proud of you
especially if the past few days have been pretty rough on you
so supportive. anything you want to do, he’s 100% behind you and is quite possibly your biggest supporter
usually, Cedric will run things by you and ask for your opinion before he makes any big decisions, but sometimes he gets too excited that he doesn’t think to do that; i.e.: when he entered the Triwizard Tournament
you still supported him though, despite thinking his decision to enter the tournament was rather stupid
you had your own Hufflepuff jersey with “Diggory” on the back of it and Cedric’s quidditch number
Cedric absolutely loved that and everyone knew it
study dates. lots of study dates whether they’re in your house’s or the Hufflepuff common room, the library, the courtyard, it doesn’t matter to either you or Cedric as long as you’re both together
he’s always bringing you snacks from the kitchens, since he has rather easy access to them and he’s made friends with the house elves that work there
he’s honestly so calm and collected about everything, but the second another guy disrespects you in any way, he’s a totally different man
he is absolutely not past fighting for your honor— in fact, it’s best to just let him
has told off his dad on at least one occasion for saying that you “weren’t good enough for his son”— Cedric respectfully disagrees with Amos on that
Cedric is the king of gift giving. whether it’s your birthday, anniversary, Valentine’s Day, or Christmas, he’s always got the perfect gift for you that he definitely spent months trying to find
this boy is honestly just head over heels in love with you
like the he can’t take his eyes off of you, always thinking about you, always trying to impress you kind of in love
if you both play quidditch, neither of you take it easy on each other on the pitch, and Cedric finds that quite amusing
bookstore dates. most wouldn’t know it, but Cedric is more of a bookworm than he lets on, and he absolutely adores seeing your eyes light up upon entering any bookstore
Cedric was more than worried about meeting your parents and making a great first impression, so much to the point that he kept asking what he should wear even after you told him casual attire was just fine
he’s still worried he’ll mess it up though and you have to keep reassuring him that he’ll do just fine and that your parents will love him
okay but…attending quidditch matches with Cedric, the both of you cheering for your favorite teams? ✨immaculate✨
okay but he is 100% the boyfriend you can have intellectual debates with
he will spoil you to no end, there’s not a single question about it
honestly Ceddy boy is really just an absolute king
he literally only has eyes for you though
definitely plans picnic dates out by the Black Lake
and he packs all of your favorite foods and sweets for those dates
so many dumb but cute nicknames
no seriously though he’ll call you something like “my little honeybee” and it’s just adorable
you call him your honey badger, it’s just a given
or golden boy because he’s literally the golden boy of Hogwarts and everyone knows it
always asking if something looks good on him because he cares about his appearance and how he presents himself
“Do you think this jumper looks good on me?”
“Cedric, everything looks good on you.”
he’s always complimenting you
really his politeness knows no bounds
this list could honestly go on, but I think we can cap it off with saying Cedric would pretty much be the perfect boyfriend, yeah?

The Fairy and the Sorcerer (Cedric x reader)
Cedric doesn’t know how to love and be loved feels like, he never really cared to have someone special in his life, until he met a curious fairy that would change that...
This is based on the song “La Leyenda del Hada y el Mago” by Rata Blanca.
Words: 2090
Warnings: a little bit of angst, nothing to sad tho
(This is my first time writting Cedric, I hope you liked it!)
_______________________________________________________________
"Have you ever had a girlfriend mr. Cedric?" The young princess asked out of nowhere. Her eyes opened widely in curiosity.
The sorcerer almost choked with his own saliva "I-" he thought it a bit "I believe that's none of your business, princess" he looked away, trying to avoid her stare.
"Is that a no?" Sofia chuckled silently. Cedric had no other choice than to admit it "Actually… yes, I haven't" he sighed looking down.
"Have you ever been in love?" The child asked again, full of curiosity.
"Yeah once, but she turned out to be a crazy fairy" he rolled his eyes remembering that pitiful day.
"Oh" she simply said "Mr. Cedric do you think-"
He cutted her off, getting up from his seat "I believe that's enough questions for today, Sofia" Cedric tried his best to not sound harsh, but he couldn't hide it. Talking about his love life always kind of bothers him. The fact that everyone saw him as little more than useless and that he decided to focus on different ways to prove himself didn't help him at all. Let's just say he's not the luckiest guy.
Cedric was convinced that he was meant to be a loner for the rest of his life, he thought no one could ever be capable to see the hopeless romantic he is deep down, he hasn't even had a chance to show it.
He doesn't know what to love and be loved back feels like.
Until that day…
Sofia took him on a tour to the Mystic Isles, she knew how much he desired to go there and, well, she just wanted to make her favourite sorcerer happy. Meanwhile, Cedric couldn't stop fanboying around, taking notes of everything new he found, just thinking about how lucky he is to be the first sorcerer to actually go to the Isles.
Then, they arrived to the Fairy Isle, there was nothing too interesting for him, but he still looked around in curiosity, Sofia had to go with Chrysta for "Protector stuff" so he had time to go around himself.
The sorcerer went into the forest with the only purpose to watch the flora of the place, that's when a soft humming caught his attention.
You were near the river edge, combing your hair and humming a sweet song to yourself, looking at your reflection on the water. Completely ignoring the fact that you were being watched by a curious sorcerer hiding poorly behind a tree.
He stared at you for a while, not knowing if he should approach you or just leave you alone. That's when you turned around and crossed glances with him, you jumped a little because you weren't expecting to be watched.
Cedric noticed this and immediately apologized "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I shall leave now" he was about to turn around, but your curiosity spoke for you "No! Wait!" He looked at you again "Who are you? I haven't seen you around" you flew towards and landed right before him, you studied his features and noticed he didn't have any wings "You are not a fairy?"
Your curiosity kind of captivated him "No, I'm a sorcerer, Cedric the great, a pleasure" he bowed a little, that made you chuckle "And you are…?"
"You really are a sorcerer?!" You asked in awe "I've never thought I would meet one in my life. I'm Y/n, just a… fairy" you mimicked his bow.
"Well, I never thought I would be up here in the Mystic Isles" he said in a chuckle.
There was a silence. You were curious about him, you wanted to ask him all of your questions right away, but you didn't want to look like a freak, instead you decided to offer yourself to give him a tour around your island, and of course, Cedric accepted more than happy.
After that, you two became friends. He encouraged you to ask all the questions you had about the ever realm and he answered all of them gladly. Eventually, he warmed up and told you his story and you told him yours too. You discovered you two had a lot in common, more than you were expecting to, but most of all, you could see the great man he actually is.
Cedric would never miss an opportunity to go up there with Sofia just to see you. He didn't care if it was only for a short moment or a long walk in the woods, the sorcerer was more than happy to spend some time with you. He was falling for you, but he didn't want to admit it, he was convinced that a beautiful and lovely fairy like you was out of his league.
You became the second true friend he ever had, and he didn't want to lose you, that's why he decided to keep those feelings locked deep down.
One time, you decided to go to the ever realm to visit your favourite sorcerer, which gladly surprised him. Like you did with him some time ago, he showed you the kingdom, the palace and of course his workshop, where he made a quick demonstration of his magic. Even tho he was pretty nervous and afraid he would mess it all up, it went good, you liked it and that was all that mattered to him.
"Now I see why they call you Cedric the great" you mimicked his voice tone, but in a friendly way "you are truly great"
For a moment he stood there, frozen, he still didn't know what to do when someone actually compliments him "I know, it was time someone finally noticed, don't you think?"
"You know, I think I like it better here than the isles" you approached him. You felt like that was a good chance to tell him how you felt, but you didn't know how to.
He didn't believe what he heard and looked surprised at you "What? Why?"
You took a step closer, making him confused "Because you are here" you smiled, and took his hand, your heart was racing and you were scared because of his answer, but there was no going back.
By this time Cedric's mind was a mess, but that gave him a little hope. He was about to ask you something, but Baileywick entered without even knocking, looking worried and scared "Cedric, the king needs you, It's an emergency"
Both of you looked at him "Really? Now? What happened?" He asked with an annoyed tone, still holding your hand.
"Grimtrix escaped" Cedric's expression changed immediately, he let go of your hand and almost ran to the door, you followed him, but he stopped you before you stepped out of the workshop "Stay here" he commanded you and closed the door right before you. Of course you couldn't stay calm after that, you didn't know who this Grimtrix guy was but it sounded like someone dangerous and of course you didn't want Cedric to get hurt, so you got out of there flying through the window, looking for the man you secretly loved.
When you arrived to what looked like the throne room, there was a tall man with a large scepter having a magical fight with Cedric and the young princess. You hide behind a column, thinking in a way to help them, when the evil sorcerer cast a spell on Cedric's wand, making it useless.
Grimtrix, seeing Cedric was now vulnerable and incapable of counter, cast another spell, one you could recognize. It was a sleeping spell.
You didn't think it twice, you let your feelings control you, you flew as fast as you could to try to eradicate the spell, but something went wrong and the spell hit you instead.
Your body lose it's strength, your eyes closed slowly as you fell on the floor, the last thing you saw before closing them for what it could be forever was Cedric holding you and crying out your name.
After that, Grimtrix was defeated, but you still didn't wake up and Cedric was devastated by that. You, the most beautiful being his eyes had ever seen, his dear friend, the only one that accepted him knowing his past, his one and only true love, gave her own life to save his. And he didn't even tell her how much he loved her.
The simple fact of thinking that he lost you forever destroyed him.
But he knew you were alive, you just were immersed in an endless dream and Cedric decided he must find a way to wake you up. He locked himself up in his tower, spent whole days and nights looking and trying different spells on you hoping one of those would wake you. He barely slept and only ate when Sofia brought some food to him. He was desperate to wake you up and didn't care about anything else, not even himself.
The little princess took a closer look to your sleeping face "Do you love her, mr. Cedric?"
The sorcerer was focused on studying a spell, but he was also pretty much tired to lie "Yes Sofia, I love her" he answered without even looking at her "And I couldn't tell her, and still, she took the spell for me" he got up and approached you, he admired your face for a while and caressed your cheek gently "I wish I had told her" a single tear ran down his cheek.
Sofia never thought to see Cedric like that, he always seemed cold and distant with others and now he was completely devastated. She wanted to give him a happy ending too, but as much as she thought nothing came to her innocent mind.
Unless…
"Have you tried true love's kiss?" That question brought Cedric back to reality, he blushed hard and wiped the single tear he shed.
Cedric denied "No, I didn't" a slight pinch of hope invaded his system, he was willing to try it, he really, really, wanted to kiss you, but he was afraid you couldn't love him back and he would feel dirty because he took advantage of the situation, so he shook that thought out of his head "I don't think it works, I don't know if my feelings are reciprocated"
Sofia almost glared at him "I believe she does, she took the spell for you after all, there's no greater proof of love than risking your life for the other" she smiled innocently, doing her best to encourage him.
Cedric thought of it, he knew true love can be strong, but sadly, he never felt it before. Actually he never felt the way he felt around you before "Alright, I'll try it" he sighed with a slight dust of pink on his cheeks, Sofia smiled and clapped happily, hoping this works.
The sorcerer leaned towards your immobile body, slowly approaching your lips, he could feel your slow but constant breathing, in addition to your natural essence that only made him want you more. He closed his eyes and brought his lips softly to yours, parting almost instantly.
He looked at you again, but your eyes remained closed, the kiss seemed to have no effect on you "It didn't work" he said pitying himself. Now he felt worse, he felt dirty, sad and had a broken heart "I'm sorry y/n" he leaned on the plate where your body rested "you better go, Sofia, I want to be alone"
The little princess's eyes moistened, she nodded silently and left, leaving her friend to sink into his own sadness.
Suddenly, your broken, sleepy voice echoed in the sorcerer's ears "Cedric ...?" His name was the first thing you managed to articulate when you finally opened your eyes.
He looked at you in awe "Y/n ?!" all that bitterness he carried disappeared, when he saw you rejoin, with your beautiful eyes open and that smile that melted his interior "You are awake!" You threw yourself into his arms and this time it was you who claimed his lips, making sure the kiss was much longer and sweeter.
He was the first one to part, although, he didn't want to "I thought I had lost you forever" he cupped your face as you leaned into his touch, caressing your cheekbones gently, just admiring how beautiful you were.
You simply chuckled, looking dearly into his dark orbs "No... you're going to need more than a spell to get rid of me"

semaphore but tastier // cedric diggory
Summary: the reader is Cedric’s best friend and they can read him like an open book
Request: hi! can i request a cedric diggory fic where the reader always bakes him smth and he feels better bc of it? 🥺 thank uu
A/N: I really hope this is okay because for some reason I am totally off my rhythm atm and it is also 1am so context also i love ced so more requests for him when i reopen are welcome
Reader: unspecified
Warnings: Triwizard tournament, injury
Anyone would think that you were conditioning him. For what, exactly, you couldn’t say, but you really couldn’t deny how pleased you were to see that handsome smile on his lips. Cedric was your best friend, though, so of course, you wanted to make him happy; it was only natural. And if you found a way to do that via a means as easy as just baking for him, then why for Merlin’s sake wouldn’t you? That was your story, if anyone asked, and that was what you were sticking to. It was nothing to do with any secret, personal, intimate feelings you had for him and that was that.
The first time, really, it’d been an accident; just a happy little coincidence. You just happened to be holding one of your mum’s home-baked Apple Danishes when you saw Ced looking positively tragic in the library, mourning over his Transfiguration essay. All it took to turn his frown upside down was an eye roll and a carefully deposited pastry in his lap - he was clearly a man of simple taste. It’d always been like that with the two of you, actually: you found that you could read him like a children’s book. A very simple children’s book with very few words and lots of very pretty pictures.
It was because of that that you always knew the one thing that never failed to make his day; one of your mum’s freshly-baked sweet treats. It had even worked when he broke up with his girlfriend, something you were not as ‘unnervingly pleased about’ as your friends had teased, thank you very much. Food was your go-to, though, and it always, always worked. Well, mostly always.
Cedric wasn’t upset often. Somehow, it was as if it went against his very nature to be anything but smiling, anything but quietly confident and wonderfully charming. So, when you strolled towards the Great Hall, spotting him and quickening your steps to fall in line with his steady gait, you were surprised to see him scowling.
“Hello,” you grinned, raising your eyebrows as he turned to you, the wrinkle between his eyebrows ironing out slightly at the sight of your smiling face.
You both stopped to wait for the staircase and his brows sunk again, his jaw clenching.
“Hi,” he said, exhaling out of his nose. You smirked, grabbing his chin gently and pushing his cheeks together, making a face. Your fingers lingered on his chiselled jaw.
“Why do you look so cross, Mr Grumpy Pants?” you asked, letting go of him as you started up the stairs.
A reluctant smile tugged at his lips, but you could tell that despite his amusement, there was still something bothering him, creasing his brow.
“Seriously, Ced,” you said, bumping his shoulder as you walked side-by-side down the corridor. “What’s up?”
He stopped short, looking down at the cobblestone floor. You took a moment to trail your eyes down his profile.
“Do you think I should put my name in the Goblet?”
Your eyes darted to meet his grey gaze, your mouth drying up at his words.
“For the Triwizard Tournament?” he said as if he needed to.
You frowned, opening your mouth before closing it again quickly.
“I might need more than a strudel for this one,” you said, trying to make him laugh. Despite your hesitance at the idea, you were glad to see him chuckle, shaking his head at your little joke.
To say you were nervous would be an understatement. The whole concept of Cedric, your Cedric, being part of the deadliest wizard competition in history was throwing you for a loop and he hadn’t even been selected yet. As you sat in the Great Hall, though, at the Halloween Feast with your heart in your throat and your eyes solidly on Cedric, some part of you knew that no one else could be the Hogwarts Champion. Not if he couldn’t.
“Do you think he’ll be picked?” your friend asked, leaning backwards to get a better look at the already selected Durmstrang and Beauxbatons champions. You didn’t need to ask who she meant.
“Yes,” you said, surprising yourself at how shaky your voice was. “I’m almost certain.”
“Oh, right, because he’s so handsome and brave and smart and kind and wonderful,” she mocked, her voice barely audible over the clapping.
You turned to her, making a face and pretending to mouth what she’d said, earning a slap on the arm. You were too busy squabbling to hear Dumbledore’s preamble, but you sure heard it when he read out the name of the first Hogwarts champion. At the time, though, you weren’t to know there’d be a second. The whole hall erupted at Cedric’s name and despite yourself, you found you were jumping to your feet, cheering and clapping along with everyone else, whistling and finding yourself swept along by the glee of it all, proud actually, of your best friend.
It wasn’t until the dragons that the true fear and nervousness sunk in. You were on autopilot as you crept around the Waiting Tent before the first task, your stomach in knots as you hoped somehow you would find him. Ever since he’d told you that Harry Potter had told him about the dragons, you’d been dreading the day, probably more scared for his safety than he was. You were far too distracted by the thought of something happening to him and the weight of the cream pie heavy in your palm to be completely focused. A rock twisted under your foot and you lost your balance. With a yelp, you ended up pushing through the tent, the fabric separating around your hands as you landed on the floor with a thud. You groaned, officially winded by your own clumsiness.
“Y/N?” a familiar voice said softly, riddled with confusion
You looked up to see Cedric, the man of the hour, with an amused smirk and raised eyebrows.
“You alright, Ced?” you asked casually as if you hadn’t just tripped straight through the wall. Shifting to get up, you were grateful to feel his hands on your arms as he helped you to your feet.
“Better now.”
He grinned at you for a moment, the yellow of his uniform tinting his skin perfectly. You blinked.
“I uh-“ you swallowed, blinking again. “I brought you this.”
You offered him the pastry in your outstretched palm, frowning at how sad it looked, slightly crushed and deformed by your little fall.
Opening your mouth to apologise, you squished the dessert in your grip, surprised as Cedric threw his arms around you, pulling you into him tightly. A grunt left your lips and if you weren’t already disorientated by the hug, the sound of a shutter and a bright camera flash made sure to do the trick. You both pulled away sharply and you would’ve fallen again had Cedric not placed his hand on your back to steady you.
“Wow,” a woman said shrilly. “Isn’t young love beautiful?”
You opened your mouth to correct her, but your words lodged in your throat when you noticed the floating quill beside her head. Your brain connected the dots and you found yourself taking an instant disliking to Rita Skeeter, a journalist Ced had complained about when he first got interviewed.
“That’ll make the front page if today goes poorly,” she mused, pursing her lips and tilting her head to the side. “And what a pretty page that’ll be, a couple like you.”
“Excuse me,” you said indignantly, immediately defensive. You didn’t get to finish before she was accosted by the Durmstrang champion, Krum.
“Sorry about that,” Ced said, his hand leaving your back as you turned to face him, his fingers skimming your arm distracting you entirely.
“Sorry about this,” you replied, lifting up the almost unrecognisable cream pie in your hand, the filling squeezing into the plastic bag around it.
“Don’t be, I think it has a certain charm.”
“I’ll give it to you now in case-“ Your voice broke.
“Hey,” he said, cupping your elbow gently. “I’ll be fine.”
Your vision blurred with tears and even his fingertips brushing your cheek lightly couldn’t salvage the sinking feeling in your stomach.
“Do you not trust me?” he asked a playful grin on his lips. You glared through your tears, pushing against his chest softly.
“You know I do.”
“Then you know that I’ll be fine. It’s just a dragon, what’s the worst that could happen?”
You inhaled, but he’d known you long enough to know the lengthy list of your response and insisted on stopping it in its tracks.
“It’ll be okay. Besides, I have to eat this…” he paused, frowning at the decimated pastry in your hand.
“It was a cream pie.”
“Ah.”
“Champions!” Dumbledore yelled, thundering into the tent and reminding you that you definitely were not supposed to be there. You looked at Cedric as he turned back to you and it was clear that you both reluctantly knew that you had to leave. You stared at him for a moment, brows drawn together, before you shoved the bag you held into his hand and gave it a squeeze. Leaning up, you pecked him on the cheek and immediately stepped away, not quite ready to deal with the aftermath of that particular decision.
“Please be safe, Ced.”
True to his word, he was okay. You’d almost had a heart attack when the Swedish Short-Snout got close to him, but you were beyond happy to see him in the Hufflepuff Common Room, sitting like a king with a mushed-up cream pie in his grasp. You were not at all impressed to see the burn on his face, though, and you were in half a mind to chew him out over it until he spotted you across the room. Immediately, he was stalking over to you and you found yourself doing the same, rushing towards him. You met halfway, throwing your arms around his neck and burrowing your head into his shoulder, breathing in his scent.
“I told you I’d be okay,” he whispered, his free hand rubbing gently up and down your back so lightly you thought you might faint.
He waited until you were there to open the egg and you definitely wished he hadn’t when a horrible screeching noise filled the air. The days that followed as he tried to figure out the contraption, you realised that the Triwizard Tournament had taken over your entire life. For months, what would happen next and more importantly, Ced’s safety had become your first priority and undeniably, that thought scared you. You listened dutifully, as a good friend should when he told you about the advice from Professor Moody to open the golden egg underwater, or when he talked about Harry or the next task, but anyone could tell you were distracted as you tried to imagine what you would do if anything happened to him. Your mind ran away with ideas of something happening to him with you having never told him how you actually felt.
“So,” Cedric said, elbowing you and breaking you out of your reverie one lunchtime. You’d imagined him a lot in the recent days and as you turned to him, your heart stopped a little to see his face in person, as handsome as ever.
“Why are you being strange?”
“I’m not being strange,” you said, though it came out more like a question.
“So, why have you been staring into the distance for the last fifteen minutes, then?” he asked, raising his eyebrows and biting into an apple.
You felt heat rush to your face and you looked down, trying to hide.
“At first I thought you just wanted to let me down gently.”
“Gently about what?”
You shoved the food on your plate around with your fork, desperately unhungry.
“The Yule Ball.”
“What about it?” you asked, frowning as Ced leant over your forearm and placed a strange looking bun on the table in front of you.
“I want you to go with me,” he said softly, his eyes nervous as you made eye contact. Why on Earth would Ced be nervous, you thought, assuming you were mistaken.
“You want to go with me?”
You’d been examining the bun closely when you looked up at him, your fingertips sinking into the delicate white icing as you froze. You couldn’t quite keep up with what was happening and you found yourself blinking far too much, your chest tightening in the process.
“You don’t have to-“
“Don’t you want to go with Cho Chang? Or that Granger girl? Or-“
“Why are trying to talk me out of asking you?”
You looked down, desperately aware of his eyes on you as you peeled your fingers from the sticky icing.
“What’s this?” you asked, nodding to it.
“Something to sweeten the deal,” he said and you could hear the distinct smile in his voice. “Also, you looked sad and you always bake me things with I’m sad.”
“Did you bake this?” you turned to him, frowning, the sound of your heartbeat growing louder in your ears.
“No,” he scoffed, shaking his head and taking another bite of his apple. “I’m just very nice to the house-elves.”
You smiled, huffing a laugh at his pleased expression.
“I don’t think I can go with you, Ced,” you admitted, swallowing gruffly and avoiding his eyes. “To the ball.”
“Why not?”
His voice was small and you wish you hadn’t known him well enough to hear the hurt in it.
“Because to you, it would just be as friends.” You paused, an odd regretful relief flooding through you. “And I like you way more than a friend should.”
“I’m not asking you as a friend,” he said.
You frowned, your eyes lifting up and to the side, before you turned to face him, surprised to see him quietly cocky and not at all like you’d ruined his life by admitting your feelings, as you’d expected you would.
“As a best friend?” you asked, your voice unmistakably hopeful.
You watched a smirk play on his lips and a mischievous glint sparkle in his eye and something you’d never felt before stirred in your chest. He finally broke eye contact, shaking his head and looking down.
“I think you know the answer to that.”

Hi can you do draco x hufflepuff reader where they met on the first day of hogwarts and became best friends then had crushes on one another??? It can be head cannons or like a story idc I just wanna feed my hufflepuff heart
Aye! A fellow hufflepuff! Hi there!
There you were. You had made it to hogwarts
You had been anxious that whole day.
See no one was really there to show you how to go about things, especially with that brick wall.
Your parents both were muggles, they had noooo fucking idea how any of this worked
All they knew is that you had a lot of weird moments as a kid
Mostly glass shattering during tantrums or things levitating on their own
Then they got this letter and woman showing up explaining "Look, your kid's a wizard."
So they were like "Ohhhh see that explains things!"
Sure, Mcgonagall helped your family when they had questions but Mcgonagall wasn't there now
But this one kid saw you wandering aimlessly.
"Hi." He said with a grumble after Narcissa recognized that lost look.
You turned around and Draco's heart was like "Oh... Oh no. Oh I'm feeling things for this person."
"Are you... Uhm... Here for... The platform?" You asked.
"Yes. Actually my mother sent me over here because you looked confused" he said.
"Oh! Oh thank God." You said with relief.
So he told you to run through it.
You thought he was joking until he ran through it.
So you followed.
Steam hit your face immediately and you were coughing.
"Wow that's brisk." You coughed.
Draco held back a snort.
You sat with him on the train and he finally introduced yourself.
"I'm Y/n by the way."
"Draco Malfoy." He said with a nod.
"That's... Kind of a cool name." You said.
Something in his gut told him "oh she's definitely not a Slytherin."
"What house are you hoping for?" He asked curiously.
"What?" You asked.
"Hogwarts house? The ones for the school?" He said.
"...There are houses for this?" You asked.
So he explained all of this to you.
He seemed to take great pride in Slytherin
You were just curious.
You stuck with Draco for the most part and some other kids who knew who he was.
"So. How do you not know anything about the wizarding world?" Draco finally asked.
"Neither of my parents are wizards"
Crabbe and Goyle nearly choked on air and Draco seemed to be having some sort of episode.
"What?" You asked.
"You're a mudblood?" He asked.
"It's not like I can control my genetics. And I know enough about the wizarding world to know that is offensive so could you not call me that!?" You said defensively.
That's when it clicked.
"She's a hufflepuff." He thought.
He didn't realize how right he was until you were sorted.
There was this one kid, she was spunky as fuck.
It was her last year there but she seemed to be excited to have someone new in the house.
Her name was Nymphadora but she loved "Tonks"
She was basically your big sister from this point on.
She showed you around with Cedric, she introduced you to new people, she even told you some secrets about the school.
That's when you noticed another group.
This one kid with glasses that NO ONE would shut the fuck up about.
You didn't officially talk to him until you ran into him
Literally. You ran into him after class one day.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going!" You said.
"It's okay, I wasn't paying attention either." He said reassuringly.
You introduced yourself and Ron introduced himself too.
Two new friends gained.
Course this pissed Draco off.
Because of course you thought Harry was cool.
Truth be told you had no fucking idea why he was famous.
But Draco decided to confront you while you studied.
"Hi draco." You said looking up.
"I see you're spending time with Potter." He said, his voice clearly annoyed.
"Yeah. So?" You asked.
"So? What are you trying to gain?" He asked.
"...Does unconditional friendship and support count?" You asked confused.
"I'm serious. Is it the fame?" He asked.
"... Harry's famous?" You asked.
"... You've got to be kidding me!"
So Draco told you what he knew.
But now you just felt bad.
"Wait so how am I a bad guy here?" You asked.
"What?" Draco asked.
"I've befriended a kid who's family is dead and his aunt and uncle are abusive. And I'm a bad guy because I just want him to feel safe?" You asked.
You did know about his Aunt and Uncle from Harry. You never even met these people and you hated them.
But shit. When you put it like that now Draco felt like an asshole.
You sighed and got up.
"Y/n." He called.
You turned around confused.
"...Can you introduce me to Harry?" He finally asked.
So you did.
Course Ron wasn't too thrilled about Draco hanging out with you guys.
But then the boys discovered that they had a lot in common and it was game over
Tonks really enjoyed seeing you get excited over it all.
Draco was more bearable too
You were like a friendship matchmaker though, especially after you met Hermione.
You both ended up studying together after all of the tables in the library had been occupied.
You thought "See she gets it!"
You both tended to study because it beat doing muggle homework.
Halloween rolled around and Ron said something mean about Hermione.
"Ron! Shut up!" You said after Hermione ran past you in tears.
You ran after her and calmed her down before uhm
Troll in the dungeon?
Draco's common room was in the dungeon so naturally Slytherin had to be moved.
He was walking with the boys when they all realized : "OH SHIT Y/N'S NOT WITH US"
so they all went looking for you when they found the troll.
You had your back against the wall and was of course panicked because you were face to face with a troll and you were eleven.
"Hermione." You whimpered.
"We're doomed." She said.
Draco ran in with the boys and saw the predicament
Well shit.
Thanks to Ron's spell the troll was handled
Course you all got in trouble because you were supposed to be in your common rooms.
Draco was just glad you were safe.
You and the boys celebrated Christmas together, your mom mailing you a polaroid camera to you.
The boys (except Harry) were mesmerized and took a ton of pictures together.
You had a ton of Tonks and Cedric
Then there was this whole thing with the Philosopher's stone and you and Draco were basically having to lie left and right.
"Mcgonagall wants to know if you know who froze Neville?"
"Waaahhhttt someone froze Neville that's wild guys. Really wild."
So other fun fact: Draco's a terrible liar.
When they all came back though oh boy.
The school year was coming to a close and you all agreed to write to each other.
Draco had this one really weird rule though.
If you were to spot him with his parents pretend like you don't know him.
According to Draco, his father wasn't a big fan of him hanging out with people outside of Slytherin.
So when summer started Tonks actually spent a lot of it with you, showing you and your parents the wizarding world.
You loved hanging out with her and she honestly did love you like a little sister.
When school started again though, you promised her you'd write to her about it all.
She was the one who dropped you off at King's Cross that year btw
The next year started and you all sat with each other on the train.
"I just don't see why you need a house elf! It seems barbaric!" Hermione said.
Draco immediately noticed you and smile, moving so you could sit next to him.
You did.
"What's a house elf?" You asked.
"A magical creature who assists wizards." Draco said.
"Unwillingly. They treat them like animals." Hermione griped.
"why are we talking about this?" You asked.
"Because our house elf apparently decided to pay Harry a visit." Draco said with a sigh.
"He said something big was happening this year." Harry admitted.
"If it's bigger than a troll, we might be screwed."
News flash: It was.
Things took a bad turn when Draco knew exactly what the chamber of secrets meant.
Oh God he was SO anxious that entire year.
It didn't help when you ended up petrified
Hermione was almost petrified but you managed to scream "RUN" before you were
He was not a fan of Gilderoy.
He actually called him a "pompous ass" when he acted like baby in the chamber of secrets
When you woke up you found out all about the insane adventure and was like "Dude. Next one, count me in"
The next summer rolled around and you again, spent it with Tonks.
Except this time you and Tonks went to the borrow.
Fred and George fucking LOVED Tonks.
You had these strange interactions with Ron's rat though.
It's like it could understand you.
You would sit at the breakfast table and read the paper right before the wonderful owl that delivered mail would come literally crashing through.
Poor uncoordinated bastard.
Draco was the first to alert the group "uh hey guys. There's kind of a convict on the loose."
None have you had seen Draco over the summer. his parents were great. Just fucking super.
So when you did see him again your heart nearly beat out of your chest.
He dropped the whole "hair slacked back" thing and went natural and it just made you very attracted to him.
Draco noticed a few new things about you
You were taller, and really fucking pretty.
The train ride was not a fun one, you being there crammed on the damn thing with some sleeping dude.
So instead of Harry being attacked by a dementor it was you.
You had a panic attack afterwards, freaking out as the now very much awake Remus talked you through it.
He gave you chocolate and automatically you were like "...this dude is gonna be awesome."
And boy were you right, because he was your favorite professor that year.
Harry seemed to be really paranoid about the dementors though.
A lot more than you were.
He didn't know why yet, but he knew that Sirius had to have some involvement with him.
So Buckbeak. You fucking loved this creature.
Draco however was an idiot.
He stumbled after Goyle pushed him forward into Buckbeak's personal space
Buckbeak almost attacked but you intervened and calmed him down immediately.
"Buckbeak! Eyes on me!" You called.
Buckbeak looked at you but still made attempts to stare at Draco.
"No. Eyes here! Now." You called.
"I'm a friend. See?" You said bowing.
Buckbeak bowed to you and Draco's heart did a whole ass backflip.
You all did notice hermione popping up when she most definitely wasn't there before though
"How does this even work--" "You carry the five" "CHRIST WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU COME FROM!?"
Draco and you did spend a lot of time together.
Course he wasn't the biggest fan of Cedric being around when he was in the Hufflepuff common room.
But you honestly saw Cedric as your brother. And he saw you as a little sister. So. Ew.
Draco didn't know this though.
Then came the lesson on Boggarts and oh boy.
Your boggart was very strange but clearly affected you.
The boggart was you.
You quite honestly were afraid of what you were capable of.
When you were a child you would make things shatter around you, sometimes injuring your parents.
Sure the injuries were minor, but it didn't stop you from feeling guilty after you found out you were the cause.
You were terrified that if one day you snapped now that you were officially trained and more powerful, it'd be a whole lot more destructive.
So yes, you were terrified of yourself.
Remus handled it and Draco pulled you back asking if you were okay.
You kept to yourself for a while. The boggart brought up those anxieties all over again and you were paranoid you'd make something go wrong.
Draco was not having that though and confronted you about it.
You talked it through with him and he assured you that if something ever went wrong he'd make sure that it'd be okay
So from that point on you two were inseparable.
Hogsmeade was honestly the best
Snowball fights and piggyback rides
You laughing as Harry managed to sneak in on the trip, scaring the fuck out of Ron.
Draco giving you his scarf when you got cold.
The group going "Oh. Oh they're totally in love"
Then Harry found out that Sirius black was friends with his parents.
And the leading cause of death of his parents.
You basically vowed that if you ever came across this fucker you'd probably punch him.
Then Lucius found out about Buckbeak.
And oh boy.
That did not blow over well
You called Lucius an "Asshole". To his face.
Hermione came up with a plan and FINALLY revealed "Hey I have a time turner"
You were like "YOU COULD NOT HAVE TOLD ME THIS BEFORE I CALLED THAT VERY TERRIFYING MAN AN 'ASSHOLE'!?"
So you went on a rescue mission
It was an emotional rollercoaster
At one point you were convinced that Harry's dad was alive.
Just to find out that Harry could produce a bright ass patronus.
Then you're discovered your favorite professor was housing a convict.
Then you had a panic reaction and punched the convict.
Just to find out that he was innocent and that Ron's rat was actually guilty.
Then when the actual guilty party was revealed and tried to run you discovered that your favorite professor is a goddamn werewolf.
But hey, Harry now had a godfather!
The next summer came along and Tonks picked you up from King's Cross and met Remus
She couldn't stop staring and neither could Remus.
Immediately you knew something was going to happen there.
The summer was spent listening to Tonks go on and on about this guy who used to be your professor.
Which: you were used to listening to weird shit because there were some girls who did have a thing for Snape.
But you knew way too much about Remus to ever find anything attractive about him.
Anyways: SUMMER!!!
Which again was spent at the Burrow
This time you all ended up going to the World Quidditch game.
When you saw Draco there you had to hide excitement because Lucius was there and-- Holy shit did he get more terrifying-- HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?
Draco still found ways to talk to you though
Cedric noticed the smiles and the glances at each other
The whole group noticed.
It was hard not to when you had that smile that could light up a fucking room on your face.
Fred and George would tease you relentlessly.
But Draco managed to sneak off to you guys and hung out after the game.
Y'know. Right before it went to shit
You all managed to escape but you got separated from Draco and was anxious the entire fucking time
Then he snuck out and went to the burrow and you hugged him
It was the first time you two ever really showed affection to each other.
Especially since Draco was giving you this kind of hug that made you melt into his arms
Molly and Arthur were like "They're in love." Immediately.
He stayed for dinner before having to leave
"So. How long have you had a crush on him?" Fred asked.
"What?" You asked.
"Come on. No one looks at someone that way and doesn't have a crush on them." George said.
The thought of you having a crush on him actually never crossed your mind.
But then they said that and now it was the only thing you could think about.
Which made the next time you saw Draco very... Jumpy.
"Hi." He said as you were reading on the train which scared you so bad your book was unintentionally launched at Harry's head.
Then at the feast he sat next to you and asked if you were okay after you blushed so intensely he thought you were running a fever.
You knocked over your drink.
We can begin to notice that you are a lot more clumsier than usual.
I mean yeah you were always clumsy but this is a whole new range of clumsy.
Then the schools were introduced and Draco whispered in your ear making you nearly scream.
Fred and George were watching these interactions on the verge of pissing themselves
They knew damn well that they were the cause of your nervousness.
Pt 2 coming soon.

rorveth, general, odd numbers 🥳
all of this falls in an au where roche is a half-elf sorry its canon to me
assume vergen is Perfectly Fine and they just chill now.
Who initiated the relationship, and how did it go?
roche tried. and failed. hed flirt w iorveth and be like. man ur so pretty :). and iorveth thought he was mocking him. eventually roche just kissed him on the cheek or something and iorveth was like. oh. i see
What was their first kiss like?
their first kiss was the aforementioned kiss on the cheek to iorveth and he just sorta. Froze. and blushed.
their first actual kiss was by a fire during a festival of sorts and tipsy and dancing together and iorveth just sorta goes. god i want to kiss u. and roche is like do it coward. it was pretty tame because they were in a public space, but it was super sweet.
What’s their height difference? Age difference?
COMEDIC. iorveth is like. 7ft tall. he also wears platforms half the time when hes not fighting. hes also like. 150 or something. he tells people hes 200 tho. im fairly certain elves age differently than humans tho but idk.
roche is 5'6 on a good day. short king,,, hes also like in his 40s
Who takes the lead in social situations?
it depends on who they are with. roche is very comfortable with soldiers and most humans, though hes never quite trusted royalty except foltest, and that ended badly for him. he also gets along with the former scoia'tael fairly well (mostly cedric and ciaran) once they start to trust each other more. iorveth on the other hand can only speak to his commando and struggles w humans bc. a) distrust
b) he doesnt speak common that well and other than a few very practiced phrases, he has a thick accent and people side eye him a lot.
c) hes fucking terrifying
Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear?
iorveth. roche is too short to reach.

Some Cedric x reader ideas that I need someone else to write because I've already got so much on my plate but I need these to exist
Reader is betrothed to Roland but loves Cedric
Cedric x reader where the two literally cannot stand each other at first but then realize they have a lot in common or something and grow closer over time
^^^^ bonus points if they're kids/teenagers when they hate each other but adults when they realize they're being stupid
Cedric and reader meet at a ball and after talking and dancing all night they fall for each other but then Cedric finds out reader is royalty. Whether that's a problem or not is up to the author. Personally, I vote for problem, because drama.
Cedric x reader but reader already has a partner/fiancé/spouse so Cedric has to respect that and pine from afar
^^^^ bonus points if reader realizes her love for Cedric runs deeper than her love for her current partner
^^^^ but even more bonus points if it ends in heartache and angst where reader and Cedric never get their happy ending together because I am evil and love chaos
Reader and Cedric are already in an established relationship but reader gets cursed or whatever and she has her memory altered and either 1) doesn't remember Cedric or 2) has her memory changed and thinks she loves another and Cedric has to undo the curse to get her back (inspired by Cinderella III)
Concept: a dark AU where Cedric succeeds in becoming king. There's a lot you can do with this one, buckle up buttercup.
Re: king Cedric au mentioned above... imagine Cedric takes over Enchancia but he lives with the guilt, but not enough to give up the throne. Reader knows that they are the one who can get Cedric to change back to his old self and save Enchancia if they're stealthy about it. No pressure.
Alternatively, Cedric is truly evil and isn't the best partner to reader. Can be as dark as you want it. Why not push the envelope.
Cedric x Reader AU where reader basically takes the place of Wormwood as Cedric's animal companion, but reader is can transform from human to animal and vice versa
Reader goes to Hexley Hall with Cedric and asks him to tutor them because they're almost failing the class they share and they can see that Cedric is a fantastic sorcerer even though everyone makes fun of him
Stolen from another tumblr post: reader is a jeweler and Cedric always comes in to buy stuff so they assume he has a significant other and doesn't flirt with him but then they find out he's single and is just really nice to his mom
Reader hears Sofia calling Cedric "Ceedric" and so they call him Ceedric too and Cedric is too flustered that they're even talking to him to correct them

↳ family lineage.
Daughter of Lady Arwyn Redwyne and Lord Kivan Florent of Brightwater Keep, Aelyn was born into House Redwyne and Florent, though the circumstances of her birth and early life were rather unfortunate. Her mother, Lady Arwyn Redwyne, the second-born child of House Redwyne and had spent her life being loved and dotted on. When the time came, the beautiful young woman was sent to Brightwater Keep in order to marry the Lord of House Florent, Kivan Florent. Lady Arwyn soon fell pregnant, though everyone’s joy was shorted lived, much like her own as she merely got a chance to hold her baby girl. The new mother caught an infection during childbirth and lost her battle with it after two weeks, leaving the baby girl in the sole care of her father and his family. The Florent family, however, was greatly displeased by the fact that they were given a sickly, weak bride who also gave them a girl instead of an heir. For Aelyn that had consequences; since she was a baby, Aelyn was treated not as a child of Lord Florent, but as an unwanted guest in their home, both by her father and his close family. As a baby, she was raised by her septa, the family had little to no involvement. Soon after her mother’s death, her father remarried and his new wife fell pregnant in a short time after the marriage. As the baby girl was growing older, it was becoming apparent that her father’s new bride did not want her, nor would she allow her to play with her own children. Aelyn was often kept away from her half-siblings or wasn’t allowed to have meals with the rest of the family at all. She often found herself busy with reading, practicing the high harp, dances, and when she could sneak away, she would play with the children of the servants and guards that were around her age. However, her step-mother was a strict woman and would often keep her isolated in her rooms, especially around guests, so none would see the embarrassment of the house. Aelyn felt completely alone and she found solitude in her books when her father and his wife wouldn’t allow her to practice any musical instruments or dances, simply keeping her in her rooms.
She had just turned seven years old when she heard that word had arrived that asked of her to be sent to her mother’s home as a ward. Overhearing the conversation between her father and his family made her almost leap with joy. Even though she was not quite certain of what all that meant, she was simply ecstatic that someone was asking after her, someone wanted her. Not long after, she was all packed up and boarded a ship to travel to the Arbor, her mother’s home, where she would eventually meet her uncle. Clinging to the railings, she watched as the waves rolled by, crashing against the ship, anticipating the time of her arrival. Her time at the Arbor was much like the child had dreamed of since her uncle’s letter arrived; she felt loved and valued, she was cared for, she no longer felt like they were ashamed of her, trying to hide her or wishing to send her away. Her care was trusted to a septa and her mother’s younger sister, and she was brought up learning all kinds of skills, including dances and the high harp she so loved. As the years passed, Aelyn was getting more involved in religious practices, as well as spending her time volunteering in many ways in order to help the less fortunate. Her life was full of love and meaning now, and she was growing to learn more and more about the struggles common people faced in their daily lives. The freedom and happiness she was surrounded by was threatened when her father sent word to her uncle demanding she returns to Brightwater Keep in order to be betrothed and secure the family an alliance. The news devastated her, though she obediently awaited as everything was packed and ready for her departure. Her uncle, Garland Redwyne ordered her trip to be postponed and she hoped and prayed that he had a plan that would not require her to return to those awful people she wished not to acknowledge as her family. News soon arrived naming her uncle Master of War and Ships and her betrothed to the King’s younger brother, Prince Cedric Tyrell.
Aelyn was not displeased if anything she had faith and trust in her uncle’s decision. House Tyrell was a House she had grown fond of through the tellings of her family, reading of their story and achievements. A just and peaceful House, in her opinion. That match secured her, though she was certain her father must not be very pleased with not being the one to make the decision; she regarded her uncle more of a paternal figure than her biological father. Regardless of the opinion of House Florent on the matter, that allowed her to spend more time doing what she loved more, whilst still surrounded by her family; writing and reading. Her love for books had grown as she grew older. Spending a lot of time in town, and a lot of it in the library or the local bookshop. In all actuality, the bookshop held a familiarity to her since it was the first place she visited at the Arbor and a place she frequented; books had been her getaway when she was living in Brightwater Keep and this place offered a certainty. Aelyn befriended the old gentleman, often helping him out in the store. However, wanting to truly feel free and nobody to know her, really, she dressed in commoner clothing when visiting the store, not wishing to be offered any special treatment because of the status and name. She quickly became friends with the older man, so much so he treated her more like a daughter. It was one of those times when he confided in her about how stressed he was regarding the raise of taxes again. A fact that she confirmed was not a lone case; she knew many common people, and she spoke to most of them pretending to struggle herself, finding out they all faced similar problems. It was an awakening call. The young girl felt obligated to help, however, in reality, she held no real power over such matters, so she turned to what she knew best, wishing it would end up helping her friend, and all those who struggled financially or otherwise. She started writing her own pieces, mainly political ones, persuading the people to demand more rights or the leaders to be more compassionate towards their subjects. Her writings were focusing on a fairer taxing system based on one’s income rather than their status. Many struggled with feeding their families, too, and Aelyn wrote about all these hoping for the best. Using the printing press in the bookshop, she printed pamphlets and discretely put them in the baskets along with other pamphlets which she knew would be distributed around town by young delivery boys. Later on she wrote in order to be supportive of King Emeric on his opinion to separate from the Iron Throne. All of her pieces were published and signed under the name “Themis”, a name most would think to be male, and that enabled her to secure them being published as well as taken into consideration; it also served as to withhold her anonymity, not risking her family’s name for her, sometimes, controversial opinions.
Recently she traveled to Sunspear in order to meet her betrothed, determined to secure this alliance. She arrived a little late for the celebrations, though she was a little pleased she was not present at the attack during the Sun God and Goddess announcements.
↳ personality.
Aelyn is generally a people’s person; she is easy to talk to and communicate, she loves meeting new people and adapts in conversation and personalities very easily. She has a charm that draws people in and is never afraid to speak her mind with carefully placed words. She cares deeply for people and it is easy to win her over, which makes her too selfless sometimes to the point where she will bury her own needs in order to aid someone else, which can be taken advantage of. Overall she dreams of a better, fairer world where everyone has a chance, sometimes makes her too idealistic in her beliefs and writings. Her sensitive nature makes her more compassionate towards people in general, even when one does not deserve her kindness. Despite being pretty certain with what she wants in general when it comes to actually making a decision, she can be indecisive and impulsive in her judgment and actions. You can usually find Aelyn being happy and sweet, but she is also moody, her mood fluctuates easily, and often when something goes bad it can ruin her whole day, which also makes her a little bit dramatic.
↳ the splitting of the kingdoms.
It is her first time away from home and she is equally excited and terrified to be going to a new place, especially to meet a man who she is betrothed to. She, of course, has read a lot about Dorne and she wants to experience the life there, though the reason why she is coming to Dorne, aside from meeting Prince Cedric Tyrell, is more complex. She is supportive of King Emeric Tyrell with every fibre of her being, and she has a lot of faith in him as a ruler, hence why she personally feels it was a right decision to separate from the Iron Throne. However, what highly concerns her is the uncertainty regarding the dynamics between the more recently formed Kingdoms and how everything will work out. She does believe the Iron Throne King and Queen have always had good intentions and best interest, but her loyalty has always been to House Tyrell and her mother’s house, House Redwyne. The latest news regarding the attack immediately filled her with worries about what will come next and whether this summit will do more harm than good. However, she tries to be generally optimistic and also showcase her support towards her home and King.

steady feet don’t fail us now
deathly hallows au word count: 3k pairing: harry/ron/hermione read on ao3 x
The war isn’t over when it’s over.
Voldemort is little more than a nightmare now, his body dusting in the Forbidden Forest, but the rest of his army won’t have conceded the loss just yet. There will still be Death Eaters at large, there will still be monsters roaming hungrily where monsters shouldn’t be, but their evil King met its checkmate and it’s a downhill fight from here.
Thanks to Harry. Who can barely walk on the way back to the castle, propped up in the circle of Ron and Hermione’s arms, dusky skin too pale, wild hair damp and lank, green eyes feverish and brighter than the killing curse.
“Nearly there,” Hermione is telling him softly. “You’ve done it, Harry, you’ve done so well. We’re nearly there, and then you can rest.”
“Hell, you can check out now if you’d like, mate,” says Ron, with a lightness he doesn’t really feel. He’s counting Harry’s heartbeats, matching his breaths, compiling this proof that Harry came back alive because it’s so much a miracle Ron almost can’t believe it. “I’ll carry you to the castle like a proper knight, and everyone will be too impressed with your victory to take the piss out of you.”
“Ron, honestly,” says Hermione.
Harry’s shoulders shake, the ghost of a laugh, and then the woods don’t seem quite as dark.
The war isn’t over, but it is for Harry. He’s done enough, more than enough, and Ron won’t let him do more. Hermione, leaning in to kiss his cheek with a look of fierce love on her face, seems to agree.
Harry stays on his feet for as long as he can, because they all know that once he’s down, he’s out, and he’ll probably sleep for days. And it will be a fitful, restless sleep if he doesn’t have a chance to reassure himself beforehand that all the people he loves are still alive. Hermione could do with some reassurance herself, really.
Their return goes largely unnoticed. Harry sent a Patronus to the castle to let them know they’d won, the silver stag running ahead of them to deliver the news, so the Hogwarts they step into is busy and bustling and full of chatter as their army shifts its efforts from wartime to relief.
They’re only largely unnoticed because within seconds Sirius and Remus seem to Apparate across the Great Hall. They pull Harry into their arms with such shaken relief that Ron coughs and politely studies his shoes.
“You are most certainly Lily’s son,” says Remus wearily. “I’ve enough gray in my hair as it is, Harry, without you disappearing for a day-long duel with the Dark Lord.”
“That bloody cloak,” Sirius says with choked vehemence, knowing exactly how Harry escaped their watchful eyes to answer the ultimatum Voldemort had delivered on the castle with a Sonorous almost a full twenty hours ago. “I could strangle Prongs for leaving you that bloody cloak. As soon as we noticed you missing, we knew where you’d gone— I was so scared for you, pup, I’ve never in my life been more scared.”
“Sorry,” Harry mumbles into his godfather’s cloak, “but I had to—“
“Shut up,” Sirius says without true anger, irritable and fond, “I know.”
The Weasleys are next, and Harry’s face almost crumples into tears when he sees Fred on his feet next to George— that had been the closest call yet, and thank god for the twins’ Defense line of Wheezes, Hermione finds herself thinking fervently, thank god they’d all worn those cleverly Shield-charmed robes into this battle just in case, thank god.
Bill yanks Ron into an embrace that looks like it hurts, one the rest of their brothers pile into as well, and Ginny collides with Hermione a heartbeat later.
Remus peels away after a long while to return to where Parvati is tending lovingly to Lavender’s new scars, and Cedric and Neville and Luna cluster in at that point, demanding to know what Harry was thinking, going off on his own, he scared them half to death, you shouldn’t listen to the wrackspurts, you know. Seamus and Dean are leaning into each other, half-asleep on an out-of-the-way bench, hands tangled together on Dean’s knee. Daphne Greengrass and Theodore Nott and a few of the other Slytherins who snuck back in to aid the fight against the Death Eaters are economically directing younger students in where to bring food and water and potion supplies to aid the Healers. Oliver Wood is busy nearby helping little Colin Creevy drink shakily from a conjured glass of water. Angelina Johnson and Lee Jordan are deep in a discussion with Tonks, the three of them worn out and battered but standing strong.
All around them, their friends and classmates are helping one another with absolute disregard to the house colors on their ties, and Hermione can’t help thinking that this is what the four founders wanted from their school in the first place. Unity despite all odds, in face of great danger, after impossible hardship.
Molly and Sirius are fussing over Harry, Ron and Hermione with an air of great relief that they’re there to be fussed over at all. Neville is hugging Harry as though he might disappear again if Neville lets go. Through everything Hermione clutches Harry’s hand in one of hers and Ron’s in the other, and thinks of how fortunate she is.
Not lucky. She worked, studied, fought too hard for this to lay it all at luck’s feet. But certainly fortunate.
They go to sleep in Gryffindor tower because it makes sense at the time. Even after a year away, the common room feels like home, and they don’t make it much father than one of the overstuffed sofas in front of the hearth.
They’re too tired to bother starting a fire or transfiguring the sofa, they just pile onto it together in a tangle of sore limbs and dirty robes.
Crookshanks hops to the arm of the couch and settles there with a throaty purr, Hedwig hoots gently from her perch on the mantle, Pig takes a victorious lap around the room and collides with an armchair in his enthusiasm, and Ron has no clue how any of them got here, and not enough energy or higher brain function left to puzzle it out.
“Feels weird to be back,” Ron mumbles.
“A bit,” says Hermione. Her voice is hoarse with exhaustion but the words come rolling out with tired precision, the way a textbook would probably talk, a dry whisper of turning pages. “I almost wondered if I’d ever see the common room again. I planned to sit for my N.E.W.T.s eventually, of course, but not to come back for another year of classes.”
“Of course,” Ron says fondly. He, for one, definitely hadn’t thought about school even once during the year he lived as a fugitive.
“I didn’t think I’d get to see either of you again,” Harry confesses in a very quiet voice.
Ron clutches him closer, his grip probably bruising. He thinks of Harry in the Forbidden Forest, making them promise not to follow any farther. Tucking one Hallow into his pocket and draping another around his shoulders, disappearing into the dark, his voice disembodied and already too far away when he said goodbye.
“You can’t get rid of us that easily,” Hermione informs him, much like she did after Dumbledore’s funeral.
Harry makes a soft noise, something between a sob and a laugh— like anything about this has been easy— and then he’s finally gone, heavy and quiet against Ron’s chest, heart beating I’m here, I’m here, I’m still here.
That certain rhythm of it is the only reason Ron is lulled to sleep, too.
He wakes up again sometime later, senses heightened by living life on the run and with danger around every corner, to a collective murmur of familiar voices.
“Whazzit,” he mumbles, and feels a hand on his hair.
“Hush, Ron,” says Percy. “Go back to sleep.”
The couch rocks a bit and reforms very gently beneath him, into something that feels more like a bed. Someone arranges a thick blanket over him next, smoothing it out carefully. Even with more room to spread out, Hermione and Harry cluster close to him in the middle, and when no one tries to take them away, Ron drifts warily back in the general direction of sleep.
A few people laugh from somewhere above him, and the sound of it is kind. Remus says, “Let’s see that they aren’t bothered, shall we?”
A worthy ambition, Ron thinks, and buries his nose in Harry’s hair before drifting off again.
Harry’s bedroom at Grimmauld Place is open and airy, with a huge window to let in natural light and walls done in warm, muted colors. The far wall is made up of shelves, filled with books and souvenirs and mismatched odds and ends. A paper bird in weathered green takes place of pride on the nightstand, next to a potted plant from Neville, and there are photos everywhere of Harry’s friends, his family, his parents.
There are plenty of guest bedrooms, all of them just as pleasant if much less personal, but Hermione likes to think that she and Ron have earned themselves the indulgence of sharing Harry’s.
Sirius and Remus trade knowing looks now and then when the three of them tumble into the kitchen for breakfast, but they’ve yet to comment.
“Merlin, mate,” Ron says, stretching out comfortably on Harry’s bed, “remember how terrifying your house was four years ago? You lot have done wonders here since then.”
Harry grins. A week after the battle of Hogwarts, his brown skin is back to its healthy pallor, and most of the gaunt shadows are gone from his face.
He’s lovely, Hermione thinks, and leans against Ron’s shoulder to listen as Harry tells the story of when he and Sirius got lost in the wizard space basement and had to send Remus a Patronus for rescue. Hermione has heard this story before, but she’s happy to hear it again.
Especially when the sound of Harry’s bright voice draws Sirius into the room, and the resulting antics are enough to make Harry and Ron laugh for the first time in what feels like a year.
Harry still hasn’t talked about some of the things he had to do when he was alone, those things that give him nightmares and wake him breathless in the middle of the night, but they won’t push if he’s not ready.
And Hermione would listen to the same silly story a hundred times, she thinks, if it meant she could hear them laugh.
The world moves on eventually, as it always does, and survivors build new walls out of the rubble the war left behind. Kingsley makes an impressive, unflappable Minister, and everyone of age who fought for the Order is offered a place in Auror training if they want it.
To the surprise of many, the Boy Who Lived turns the offer down.
He shouldn’t have to justify his choices, but he stands in front of the press and does exactly that. He says he’s had enough fighting, that it was never a life he would have chosen for himself, that he would like some time to himself now to compartmentalize.
“But what will you do?” demands a reporter, as though there’s nothing Harry could devote his time to that was worth more than heroics in the name of the Ministry.
“I never got the chance to sit my N.E.W.T.s,” Harry says implacably, hands in his pockets, a defiant slouch in his shoulders. Not yet eighteen and newly unburdened, his scar a quiet reminder and nothing more. After that, I might try teaching. One of my guardians, Remus Lupin, taught Defense at Hogwarts in my third year and he was brilliant. If I could be half the professor he was, I’d be alright with that.”
Ron could burst, he’s so proud. The minute Kingsley steps out and they can duck away from the cameras, Ron throws an around Harry’s shoulders and kisses the side of his head with an audible smack.
“You handled those knobs like a professional, mate! Knew you had it in you!”
Harry laughs, stumbling, and Hermione says, “I hope you meant what you said about teaching. Professor McGonagall will definitely hold you to it, you know.”
“Unless I fail all my exams,” Harry points out cheerfully, and Hermione’s hair bristles with her indignation until she looks charmingly like a Pygmy Puff.
They spend the rest of the afternoon arguing amiably about classes and N.E.W.T.s and the curse on the DADA position at Hogwarts and whether or not someone who survived the killing curse twice could break the jinx on the job.
More than a few people stare and whisper as they go by. But Ron keeps his arm around Harry’s shoulder, and Hermione keeps him talking, and they get home to Grimmauld Place with his smile intact, and that is a victory every bit as important as any other.
When Harry talks about the future, his narrative is very singular. He seems to think Ron and Hermione have plans that don’t include him, that they’re going to get married and raise children and only have him around for dinner or tea a few nights a week, probably because of the comments Molly and Andromeda and the like have made.
It’s terribly presumptuous of them. If someone would only bring it up in front of Hermione, she’d be happy to set them straight once and for all.
On an unremarkable afternoon in early September, Hermione is sitting at a table in the sprawling Black family library, studying a tome on alchemy that was banned about a hundred years ago. Ron is lounging in an armchair with a temperamental book on breaking curses open in his lap, lips moving silently as he reads.
Harry enjoys even their quiet company, and sits across the table from Hermione with a friendly snake from the garden that he met several years ago wound around his wrist.
“I’m afraid I’ve gotten used to this,” he says offhand. He’s looking down at the snake, affectionately named Snuffles just to annoy his godfather, so his words have an accidental hiss to them that might be off-putting to a stranger.
Hermione thinks it’s rather cute.
“Used to what, mate?” Ron asks without looking up from his book.
“You know— having the two of you here all the time. I’ll miss you when you leave.”
Hermione says, “One moment,” and finishes copying down her final notes. Behind her, she can hear Ron heave his heavy book shut.
Only when she’s finished, quill set neatly aside, does Hermione look up, fold her hands, and ask, “Do you want us to leave?”
“No! Of course not, I didn’t— you’re welcome to stay for as long as you like,” Harry says quickly. Snuffles is rearing up to look at Hermione across the table, tongue flicking as he scents for the source of Harry’s sudden distress. “I just— wondered what your plans were.”
“I’m writing mum again,” Ron says sourly. “And if she says one more thing to you about me or ‘Mione getting married, I’m sending a Yell Bell.”
Hermione smiles at the very thought. Yell Bells are the twins’ own patented version of the classic Howler, and they’re a hundred times more obnoxious on sheer principle.
Harry looks nonplussed by the turn this conversation has taken. There’s something wary in his green eyes that Hermione hates to see. She reaches across the table for his hands.
“Our plans and yours need to match,” she says patiently. “Wherever we’re going, we’re going together. And I’m certainly not getting married, I’ll tell you that right now.”
Hermione isn’t sure she believes in the constitution of marriage. A bonding ceremony between the three of them might be appropriate, though, when they’re all much older. She’ll have to research those, or maybe ask Sirius about them. His ceremony with Remus was lovely, after all.
“I mean after that,” Harry says with great caution. “After everything. When you— you know, want to have your own house and your own family— “
Ron appears to lose patience with the world in general. He shoves the ancient book off his lap, gets up and stalks round the table, and pulls Harry half out of his chair for a proper kiss, while the words are still tumbling uncertainly out of his mouth.
Hermione is slightly cross he beat her to it.
“Oh,” Harry says at length, dusky skin flushed, wide eyes like lightning. He darts a look at Hermione, who tightens her hold on his hands.
“Yeah, oh,” Ron says irritably. “Now quit writing yourself out of our lives, you prat.”
“I love you and Ron,” Hermione says with significantly more decorum. “Both of you. And Ron is the same. If this isn’t what you want, we’re happy just to remain your friends. But Harry,” Hermione says, “we aren’t ever going to leave you.”
Snuffles drapes his tail over Hermione’s wrist from where he’s looped around Harry’s arm. Harry snatches at a Ron with his other hand, as if to make sure he’s not going to do a runner.
He’s bright, vibrant, voice tumbling earnestly, “I love you, too, both of you. Of course I do. Just— I’ve never— can I have a little time to think about this?”
“Harry,” Hermione says warmly, “that’s the point I’ve been trying to make. We have all the time in the world.”
“Moony owes me money,” Sirius says gleefully when he catches the three of them snogging in the kitchen a month later. “I knew you lot wouldn’t hold out longer than three months.”
“A little restraint in the future, please,” calls Remus from the sitting room.
“Sirius,” Harry moans behind his hands. “Quit betting money on us. Get a real job.”
“Sorry, pup, but the Blacks are the most wealthy family in the wizarding world. We’re set for life. Embarrassing you is my job.”
But he’s happy for them, Ron can tell.

Does Sofia have too much on her plate and is she putting too much pressure on herself ?
I apologise in advice for this post being so long. I tried to make it as short as possible while still getting my points across but this was the best I could do. On with the post :)
I think a common complaint about the show is that Sofia has been given too much responsibility for someone of her age. If she was older I don’t think fans would complain so much but because she’s the age that she is , people consider this a little bit too much for a kid to handle all at once.
Between the ages of 8 to 11 , her three main occupations have been her being a Princess , a story keeper and a Protector.
Other occupations she has had are her being a buttercup scout , a member of a the Merry band of helping hands , a flying derby racer for Royal Prep , Cedric’s apprentice and a member of the princess adventure club.
All these occupations fit Sofia’s character quite well but because of her role as a princess, a story keeper and a protector, it’s surprising how Sofia is able to do all these things without feeling burned out or frustrated with all that she has to do. She has however put a lot of pressure on herself to be the best that she can be and has kept her role as a story keeper and a protector a secret. This is what I want to talk about :)
I believe the reason why Sofia has kept these two occupations a secret is because she has put too much pressure upon herself. But I also believe its because she’s being too protective.
Protectiveness
The secret of Avalor -When Sofia is sent to Avalor by the secret library to free Elena, Amber asks Sofia why she won’t tell them the reason they need to hide. Sofia however responds back by saying “Its for your own good, trust me”. Later though , Sofia’s family end up being captured and Sofia hopes there all okay in her absence.
Later , their all freed and Miranda tells Sofia that she should have told them what was going on. Sofia responds back with “I know, I just wanted to keep you all out of trouble”.
This shows that Sofia just wanted to keep her family safe and out of the situation as much as possible.
Even though Sofia has kept her family out of the storybook missions before this one, I believe the events that took place in Avalor made Sofia believe even more that she shouldn’t let her family get involved.
Tale of the Eternal torch - When Sofia finds out that James was in the trunk of her carriage to the Blazing Palisades without her knowing , she was not too happy by the fact that he tagged along.
And when James says he will be a big help , Sofia doesn’t respond to this and just looks worried.
A few moment later , James and Sofia spot the sea monsters and while James is enthused by this , Sofia is more focused on how dangerous this all might be.
James - “Dragons and sea monsters , oh this is getting better by the minute.”
Sofia - “And more dangerous. I have to warn the dragons about the sea monsters”
James again offers to help but Sofia sighs and reluctantly tells him – “I guess it’s too late to take you back now”.
The mystic isles – When Amber discovers the secret library , Sofia is pretty persistent on her going back but Amber puts her foot down and goes with Sofia to the library anyway. After the library tells them that Sofia needs to go to the Mystic isles , Amber wants to come along too but one of the reasons Sofia gives Amber not to go Is that it could be dangerous.
Sofia obviously doesn’t like getting her family involved in storybook missions due to how dangerous they may be but even as a protector , she chooses not to tell them about the wicked nine or how she is now the protector of the ever realm because she is still being protective. Again, Sofia doesn’t want the people she cares about to get involved.
In Cedric we trust – After they all encounter shots of lighting from Prisma and Cedric risks his own safety for Sofia , Cedric asks both Roland and Sofia who that woman was but instead of confessing all that she knows about Prisma , she keeps quiet and looks happy when Roland confesses he doesn’t know who she is and leaves it at that. She then later privately speaks to the protectors without them knowing.
Even though Sofia learned that its sometimes best to let the people you care about aware of what’s really going on so they don’t get into even more danger in the episode “The secret of Avalor” , Sofia’s protectiveness over her family and friends is still keeping her from getting them involved in her missions.
Too much pressure upon herself
While I have no problem with any of the occupations that Sofia has had , it is a bit concerning that Sofia puts so much pressure upon herself and doesn’t let others know what she is going through. What makes things more difficult for Sofia is that her three main occupations of being a princess , a storykeeper and a Protector , have all been things that have been placed upon her.
She never wanted to be a princess but because of her sudden change of lifestyle she knew she had to try her best to adapt to this new lifestyle weather she liked it or not.
As story keeper , it was something Tilly asked her to be just like Orion asked Sofia to be a protector. That’s not to say that Sofia didn’t agree to be either of these things, but it wasn’t like they were future careers she had been longing to have. She accepted these occupations more so out of the goodness of her heart and because she wanted to help people.
But by her accepting all these reasonability’s in a short time frame, she’s only been putting more and more pressure upon herself.
Princess
When Miranda married King Roland , Sofia became a princess and there wasn’t anything she could really do about it. Once she got to the castle , Sofia didn’t feel ready to be a princess , she thought it was all too much and as time went on she felt like being a princess was really hard. The only thing Miranda could really do in the situation was advise her to just do her best and tell her that it’s not her problem if stuffy dukes and duchesses don’t think what she does is good enough. Miranda even tries to give Sofia something she’s familiar with by inviting Ruby and Jade over to cheer her up.
And even though things worked out as well as they could for Sofia by the end of the movie , its shown in the episode “Moms the word” that she still misses her old life in the village where it was just her and her mum and that in the episode “The princess test”, Sofia still sometimes felt like she wasn’t a proper princess and that she had to keep on proving that she belonged because she wasn’t born into royalty.
Sofia : “A proper princess would have done the polite thing and let you go first”
Higgins : “Oh don’t be silly , you are a proper princess”
Sofia : “Not really. At least , I don’t always feel that way”
Higgins : “Why what do you mean ?”
Sofia : “I wasn’t born a princess. And sometimes I feel like I have to keep proving I belong”
Even though season one primarily demonstrates Sofia’s need to fit in as a princess more than the other seasons, in season 3 she still states that she’s still getting used to being one , showing deep down she still needs adjusting. Which is fair enough as when Sofia first became a princess , she had a lot of changes she needed to adjust to such as moving house , becoming apart of a new family , going to a new school ,making new friends , living in a higher society and taken on the responsibilities of a princess.
But as far as I’m aware , I believe the reason Sofia felt like she didn’t belong with royalty was more so out of her own insecurities. Apart from Amber in the episode Once upon a princess where she didn’t want Sofia around for insecure reasons , no one has discriminated Sofia for being born in the village and not having royal blood.
Story keeper
When Tilly says it’s up to Sofia to save Mazzimo and help him get to Wildwing Valley , Sofia isn’t sure if she can do it. Tilly understands that being story keeper isn’t easy but tries to reassure Sofia that she can do it while stating its more about if she will do it than if she can do it.
Sofia : “I’m not sure I can do this”
Tilly : “I know , being storybook keepr is not easy” But you can do it Sofia , or you wouldn’t be here. So the real question isn’t can you do it , its will you do it ?
Sofia thinks it over a little but ultimately decides that she will do it. Tilly however can still sense that Sofia isn’t confident in herself to do it all by herself so she decides to tag along this one time to help her get started.
During the mission , Mazzimo and Minimus get captured by Prince Roderick and they lose Tilly’s bag. Sofia tries to find it but soon tells her self that she’s no story book keeper, making it clear to the audience that she doesn’t think she’s good enough to be one.
Sofia : “ Oh I can’t do this, I cant do any of this. I’m no story keeper”
Merida then gets summoned by the amulet to tell Sofia that she can save them herself but Sofia confesses that she’s still getting used to being a princess and that if she can’t even finish this story then there’s no chance she can finish the rest in the library.
Merida : “What you need can only be found with in you”
Sofia : “What’s that ? ”
Merida : “The belief that you can save them yourself”
Sofia : “That’s just it. I’m still getting used to being a princess, how am I supposed to finish all those stories in the library if I cant even finish this one”
At this point in the series Sofia doubts that she’s even good enough for the job and thinks she isn’t ready to take on the responsibility. Being asked to be the story keeper might have been a bit too much for Sofia to handle at this stage in her life. Which is pretty understandable considering her age and what pressure she has already put herself through as a princess.
When Tilly became Story keeper , she was older than sixteen whereas Sofia was given the job as a child.
It doesn’t really seem fair on Sofia that Tilly was much older than she was when starting out but at the end of the day Sofia chooses to carry on being the story keeper and decides to keep it a secret from her family.
Protector
So far Sofia has the responsibilities of being a princess and a story keeper but now that she has excepted the occupation of a protector, that’s even more responsibility that Sofia has to deal with.
The fact that the protectors ask a 11 year old to protect the entire Ever realm is quite absurd considering their all adults and they have a number of protectors protecting the Mystic isles but if Sofia is already putting pressure on herself to be a good princess and a good story keeper , deep down Sofia is probably putting pressure on herself to be a good protector too. Being a protector is something she takes very seriously and the fact that she’s the first non-magical creature to become a protector will only fuel Sofia’s self-pressure even more.
But why is Sofia putting all this pressure upon herself ? Well , as a character Craig describes Sofia as a striver , someone who is worried about doing a great job and someone who wonders if their good enough.
But Sofia also tends to want to please others and to fit in. These reasons would certainly explain why she puts so much pressure on herself to be a good princess but what are the reasons behind her putting so much pressure on herself as a story keeper.
I think its because of the fact that Sofia has been led to believe that she is the only one who is capable of saving the day and that there is some unknown reason as to why the amulet has chosen her rather than anyone else.
Tilly makes out that being the story keeper is Sofia’s destiny and that because the amulet led Sofia to the library , that’s why she had been chosen.
And while Merida gave Sofia good advice , Sofia might have gotten the wrong end of the stick when Merida told her “The belief that you can save them yourself” as Sofia might have interpreted this as that she has to do it herself. This in turn makes Sofia sing the words “I’m the one that has to save the day” after she had been motivated to carry on being the story keeper.
Sofia believing there is an unknown reason as to why the amulet chose her to have this role is later explored In the episode the Mystic isles where she is tells Amber that she isn’t sure why the amulet chose her.
Sofia – “Somehow my amulet decided that I was to become the story keeper, now it’s my job to make sure the stories in the secret library get a happy ending.”
Amber – “So your amulet glows and leads you here to this secret library which is filled with stories that you need to finish”
Sofia – “I don’t know why , it just happened”
She then later shoots down Amber’s request to go with her by saying she’s the story book keeper and not Amber.
Sofia - “Amber you cant go with me”
Amber – “Why not”
Sofia – “Because I’m the story keeper , not you”
This shows that Sofia has really accepted the idea that this is her destiny and that this role of hers is something that she should bear the responsibility with herself and not put on other’s.
So all in all , Sofia puts too much on her shoulders , puts too much pressure upon herself and needs to be less secretive.
I believe her role as story keeper and a protector will be relieved in the final “Forever Royal” but if there was one person that could show Sofia the error of her ways and can relate to Sofia’s ordeal the most , it would be Cedric. Hear me out :)
Before the incident Cedric felt pressure to be a great sorcerer like his father and after the incident , everyone put a lot of pressure on him to be something great. Like Sofia , Cedric has felt pressure to be the best at what he is meant to be from an early age and has put pressure on himself to prove people wrong.
Cedric is also a tad secretive like Sofia as he didn’t express enough what he was going through emotionally and kept his intention on taking over the kingdom a secret but once all was revealed , things have been getting better and better for him thanks to Sofia’s help.
Keeping this in mind Cedric could ultimately be the one to show Sofia that its not good to put so much pressure on yourself and that it will benefit her much more if she is more honest and less secretive about what she is up too :)
But those are just my thoughts. What do you guys think about how many roles Sofia has had or how much pressure she has been under :)

Eye On The Prize
George Weasley x Reader
Summary: George gets distracted during a Quidditch match
Warnings: Slight swearing
Word Count: 2.5k+
Request/Prompt: Can I have a George x Reader where they are together and Gryffindor is playing against Hufflepuff and he sees reader in the crowd and just blows kisses and winks at her and Fred just teases him about it and after the game they celebrate in the Gryffindor common room? From @comeonknucklehead
__
The Great Hall was bustling for breakfast this morning, as it usually was the morning of a Quidditch match. Everyone, especially those from Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, was eating as much as they could as fast as they could. Nobody ever wanted to get a terrible seat, or even worse, not get a seat at all. It was quite a common occurrence whenever Gryffindor played especially, seeing as though Quidditch was the backbone of their house pride.
“Have you done the Charms homework yet?” (Y/N) asked, taking a sip from her goblet. She stared directly at her boyfriend, who was sitting across the table from her, next to his twin. He glances up from his heap of food and quickly swallows.
“‘Course not! I never do homework on the day of a Quidditch match, bad luck I reckon” George replied, putting three pieces of toast on his plate and grabbing the butter knife in front of him. The food spread this morning was a sight to see, yet, toast was always a fan favorite.
“Oi, you never do homework anyway” Fred jabbed at George’s side, eliciting a giggle from (Y/N). George’s face was full of betrayal, but bushed it off nonetheless.
“He’s right you know,” (Y/N) said, swallowing her laugh. “You usually just copy off of mine.” She picked up the jar of marmalade in front of her, spooning some on her toast. George stared at her, eyes as big as the golden plates below.
“That’s not true!” He bellowed, slamming his fists on the table. Half of the Gryffindor table turned their heads to look at the scene unfolding. “I-I mean, it’s not true always,” He stammers, noticing the people watching. “A guy has to get inspiration you know?” The heads all turn back to their original conversations.
“Oh I’m so sure” (Y/N) teases. “Tell me Georgie, was the essay on Stink Sap for Herbology really needing inspiration?” “Blimey (Y/N), ‘course it did! There’s only so much you can write about Stink Sap after you mention how much it, well, stinks” George pulled his hand up to his nose, pinching it slightly. Fred looked over and laughed.
“But how did you get inspired Georgie? You said you were going to ask (Y/N) about the essay,” Fred said in a teasing manner. “And I know you didn’t come back until the wee hours of the morning.” Both George and (Y/N)’s faces deepen in color.
“W-we had a lot to talk about s’all,” (Y/N) mutters, shoving her goblet up to her mouth, taking large sips. George seemed to do the same. “He kept trying to compare it to your breath” Fred lets out a large laugh and drops the subject.
“You’re coming to the match today, yeah?” George asked, finally setting his goblet down, his face still somewhat pink. (Y/N) nods.
“If I can get a seat, I’ll be there” She replies. A worried look washes over George’s face. (Y/N) laughs. “It’s hard to find a spot in the sea of your fans you know” She winks, standing up from the table. George and Fred do the same.
“A sea of fans? You flatter us (Y/N), truly” Fred said.
“Who cares for a whole sea? I already got the fish I need” George announced, looking down at (Y/N) lovingly. Fred stops walking for a moment, only to gag. (Y/N) rolls her eyes.
“I agree with Fred,” She laughs. “You’re being rather cheesy today Weasley” Walking closer to her boyfriend, she intertwines her hand with his and heads towards the Gryffindor common room. The Fat Lady was taking a slight snooze, as when Fred mutters this week’s password, she doesn’t awake.
“Ah well, no point in waking her,” Fred shrugs. “We gotta get to the pitch anyway Georgie” “You’re right,” George turns to look down at (Y/N). “The match is in an hour, Wood’ll have our heads if we don’t show” He sets one hand on her shoulder and gives it an apologetic rub.
“Understandable,” (Y/N) leans into George’s hand. “Knock ‘em dead sweetheart” (Y/N) gently moves to her tiptoes and plants a soft kiss on his freckled cheek. George’s face glows a soft pink, his grey jumper suddenly feeling quite hot.
“What? Just the cheek?” He coughs.
“Win the match,” She adjusts his tie. “Then we’ll talk”
-
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a Quidditch match, blue skies and little to no wind. The stands were roaring with Hogwarts students and, as expected, the Gryffindor section was filled to the brim with red and gold. (Y/N) was seated near the top of the stands, along with two of her roommates. They had tried to convince (Y/N) to paint her face, get into the spirit and whatnot, but decided against the idea.
“Oh look! There he is!” A fellow Gryffindor girl standing in front of (Y/N) points to the sky. “Or, I think that’s him. They’re identical after all” She was obviously talking about one of the twins. The girl next to her leaned in.
“I think George is on the right,” They both giggle. “You can tell because he’s cuter than Fred” (Y/N) rolled her eyes. Things like that never really got to (Y/N), mostly because she could agree with what others would say about her boyfriend. Of course he was funny, him and his twin were the biggest pranksters to hit Hogwarts (minus Peeves of course). Her favorite thing people would point out, however, is that he had a cute butt. (Y/N) couldn’t agree more.
“Doesn’t he have a girlfriend?” The girl asks her friend. Her friend nods.
“Hard to pick her out of a crowd though, nothing super special stands out about her.” The girl shrugs. This made (Y/N)’s blood boil, but before she could say anything, the match starts. The twins looked deep in concentration, hitting every bludger that came their way.
Gryffindor was up by 40 points, causing much dismay to the Hufflepuff crowd. Harry Potter was an excellent Seeker, that was no doubt, but Cedric Diggory could match his skills ten-fold, causing a nail biting match. (Y/N) kept her eyes on the Gryffindor Beaters however, taking note at every bludger they bat away. For a second, she could have sworn that George made eye contact with her. Impossible, right?
“(Y/N), I think George is looking at you!” Her roommate exclaimed. So she had seen it too. “How romantic!” As she said this, George flies past the stands, chasing after a bludger. He sends (Y/N) a quick wink and blows a kiss in her direction. The girls from before scream with delight, clearly thinking it was directed at them.
“It’d be more romantic if he paid attention to the game” (Y/N) replies. It was hard to hide her obvious red cheeks, she hoped pulling her scarf over her face would help. It didn’t.
The Beaters on the Hufflepuff team couldn’t hit the bludgers even if they tried, causing George to grow bored with the game. He figured to make the most of the match until Harry inevitably caught the Snitch. He had already blown a kiss in his girlfriend’s direction, seeing as it was easy to pick her out of the crowd. She wasn’t dressed in head to toe red and gold like their other house members, but just stuck to her signature scarf and solid red headband. He had always liked the headband.
“Oi! Georgie!” Fred exclaimed, flying close to his twin. George snapped out of his trance. “We got a game to play, yeah?”
“Yeah” George mumbled, not taking his eyes off of (Y/N), who was watching the game with excitement in her eyes. Her eyes met his, and a smirk fell on his freckled face, growing as rapid as his crazy idea. He blows another kiss at her, noticing the redness in her cheeks deepening. He flips upside down on his broom, only to wink and blow another kiss at (Y/N).
“What on earth is he doing?” (Y/N) gasps, all eyes being on her. He obviously wasn’t planning on playing the game anymore, much to the Gryffindor’s displeasure. In is love-sick daze, George didn’t notice the bludger coming towards him at a rapid pace. “Look out!” (Y/N) shouts, but it fell on deaf ears. Thankfully, Fred hit it away before it could do any damage. Fred wiggles his eyebrows at his twin.
“(Y/N) and Georgie sittin’ in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G,” Fred began to sing. “First comes love, then comes marriage, but first we gotta win this Quidditch match!” He hits George on the arm with his bat.
“Ow!,” George yelped. “That didn’t even rhyme!” “So? We get it, you’re in love, happy even, Georgie. No need to make kissy faces at (Y/N) every chance you get. Keep the eye on the prize” Fred said, flying away.
“Oh believe me, I am” George chuckled, his eyes never leaving (Y/N).
The match ended soon after. It was a close match, but still ended victoriously. The common room was bustling with life, as it usually was after each Quidditch win. The team was being treated like kings and queens, students running up to each of the players and retelling the highlights of the match. George and Fred were chatting with Lee before (Y/N) walked over. Fred and Lee gave each other a nod and excused themselves.
“What the hell was that Weasley?” (Y/N) asked, pulling George on the couch. He laughed. “Aw, no ‘Thanks for the love Georgie!’ or, ‘Congrats on winning today!’?” He teased, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. (Y/N) sighed, leaning her head into the embrace, ignoring the party around them.
“Congrats on not dying” She said unceremoniously. He lifted his arm off of her quickly, startling (Y/N).
“Oh babe! Your shoulder! It got so cold all of the sudden!” He exclaimed, resulting in a soft pinch to the side from (Y/N). His arm settled back to where it was before, nestling in closer to his beautiful girlfriend.
“Seriously Georgie, I appreciated the affection, but come on,” (Y/N) sighed again. “In the middle of a Quidditch match?” “How could I not? You just looked so damn cute!” He placed a soft kiss to the top of her head. They both just sit there, enjoying each other’s company. “But you know,” He paused, gaining the attention of his girlfriend. “I think you owe me something”
“Do I now?” She says in a teasing manner.
“Indeed,” He smirked. “We won the match, time to pay up” (Y/N) laughed.
“If I recall correctly,” She pulls away from his side, sitting up. “I said we’d talk about it” His smirk grew slightly bigger, the glow of the roaring fireplace illuminating the expression.
“Then lets go talk about it, yeah?” He stands up from the couch, holding his hand out to (Y/N), who grabbed it gently. They rush past the crowds of people, giggling quietly to themselves. With a slam of the door, they were in George’s dormitory. It was empty, of course, seeing as the entire house was swarmed to the common room. He pulls (Y/N) to his bed, shutting the drapes that surround the four poster.
“Closing the drapes? What exactly do you have planned Weasley?” (Y/N) asks, kneeling on the sheets. George follows suit. “Not sure, but I think we’ll figure it out,” He winks, eliciting a soft chuckle to erupt from (Y/N)’s lips. He flops down on the bed, pulling (Y/N) down with him, her straddling his hips. “Merlin, you’re so beautiful” George gently pulls the headband from her hair, letting her (Y/H/C) locks fall in front of her face. Softly, he pushes a few strands behind her ear, cupping her cheek. His chocolate eyes were full of admiration and so much love, flicking up from (Y/N)’s eyes down to her lips, and back up again.
“I could say the same about you” She sighed, leaning into his touch. Her heart was beating out of her chest, the anticipation building. He lightly brings her face to his, tilting it slowly, capturing her in a kiss. It was slow and soft, unlike most of their kisses. George ran his thumb down (Y/N)’s check affectionately.
“Wow,” George muttered breathlessly. “Been a while since we’d done it like that” (Y/N) laughs, touching her forehead against his.
“Kinda nice to take it slow, huh?” She asked, stealing another kiss. His lips were slightly chapped, she had noticed. This time, it was (Y/N) who cupped George’s face, holding it close. The kiss grew deeper and more passionate without either of the party realizing it. His hands were roaming her back, and (Y/N) unconsciously rolled her hips atop of George, causing a loud groan.
“What was that about taking it slow?” He laughed, feeling (Y/N) smile against him. They pull away for a second time, catching their breath.
“Have I ever told you how beautiful you are when you blush?” (Y/N) points out, causing George’s face to deepen in color.
“I think that’s my line”
“Can I steal it?” “Perhaps, for a hundred Galleons,” George cocks an eyebrow, sending (Y/N) a joking look. (Y/N) slaps his chest, drawing out a small yelp from the redhead. “Maybe just another kiss then?” The commotion outside grew quieter, the party must have been dying down. Suddenly, voices were heard outside of the door, spreading as the door opened to the room. George slaps a hand over (Y/N)’s mouth, keeping her quiet.
“What the hell was George doing out there today?” Lee blurted, his voice slurred slightly. The other boys laughed.
“George can’t help but rub it in our faces you know,” Fred responded, jumping onto his bed. “He still can’t believe that he snagged (Y/N)” George looks at (Y/N) and nods.
“I can’t believe it either! She’s way too good for him,” Lee sighed. “But, they do look kinda cute together”
“How could you tell? They always find ways to get away from everyone” Fred’s voice growing closer to George’s bed. (Y/N) freezes, praying that she didn’t get caught. A shadow of his hand is seen behind the drapes, almost ready to open it up.
“Where do you think they went off to?” Lee asked. Fred’s hand stopped.
“Probably the Astronomy tower, that’s ‘their spot’,” Fred laughs, lowering his hand. Both George and (Y/N)’s bodies relax. Maybe they could get away with it. “Hey, lets go drop some dungbombs on them” Fred whispers.
“Brilliant! Let’s go then!” Lee exits the room, hoping Fred would follow. Fred hesitates for a moment and turns to George’s bed.
“Have a good night (Y/N), Georgie” Fred teased. With a slam of the door, the room grew quiet again. George and (Y/N) sat up in his bed in disbelief.
“How did he…” “Doesn’t matter, we’re alone again, aren’t we?” George said, nudging his girlfriend. She giggled.
“I suppose,” She turned to face him. “George”
“Yeah babe?”
“Congrats,” She sealed her words with a kiss. “But don’t pull that shit again”. With a deep laugh, the two spent the rest of the evening together, enjoying their own celebration and each other.

Harry Potter, John Murphy, Jyn Erso and Rachel Green ^^
Harry Potter
Why I like them: he’s this naive little bean that is only as observant as a lamp and doesn’t deserve the shit he goes through
Why I don’t: i don’t understand his love of dumbledore
Favorite episode (scene if movie): goblet of fire will always be my favorite harry book/movie but i love harry’s character in order of the phoenix. he really starts to own his agency and i’ll never forgive rowling (for a lot of things) for not making him a teacher later in life because when he’s teaching the DA you can tell how happy and in his element he is
Favorite season/movie: goblet of fire
Favorite line: “ There’s no need to call me ‘sir,’ Professor. “ i wish we would’ve got harry’s true sassy nature more in the movies
Favorite outfit: i was a sucker for this one growing up
OTP: harry/cedric
Brotp: harry/luna, harry/ginny, harry/ron (but i also ship all of these…)
Head Canon: HE’S BI
Unpopular opinion: apparently hating harry/hermione is unpopular in this fandom but it’s the only thing i don’t ship pretty much
A wish: cedric was still alive and we could’ve had more interactions, also, i love the idea of slytherin!harry, think about it
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: i mean it’s over so, it doesn’t really matter
5 words to best describe them: loyal, sassy, brave, curious, lucky
My nickname for them: lamp potter, or lamp-boy. it derives from his observance level
John Murphy
Why I like them: he’s sassy and unapologetic about the person he is. that’s not saying he doesn’t feel regret, because i know he does, but he doesn’t apologize for who the earth turned him into, and he was wronged and doesn’t try to play it off as nothing, he lets everyone know he was wronged.
Why I don’t: i mean he did shoot raven so, i’ll always slightly hate him
Favorite episode (scene if movie): i love murphy in the finale of season 3.
Favorite season/movie: season 2 or 4 probably.
Favorite line: “Touch me again and I’ll end you…in a non-criminal way.” and when he told clarke that he would kill her if she touched emori. basically anytime murphy is the voice of reason and calls clarke out on her shit
Favorite outfit: its hard to pick a favorite when they only have like two outfits to their name, lmao
OTP: memori
Brotp: murphy/raven, murphy/bellamy, murphy/wells
Head Canon: HE’S BI
Unpopular opinion: rewatching now, i love season one murphy. don’t @ me
A wish: i want murphy/bellamy to happen at least once. like a drunken kiss or something
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: murphy/raven romantically
5 words to best describe them: determined, resilient, sassy, passionate, funny
My nickname for them: trash man, my garbage son, king trash mouth
Jyn Erso
Why I like them: she goes through such a good development throughout the movie. plus she’s such a badass. (and i loved felicity jones prior to the movie so i knew i’d love her)
Why I don’t: i hate the little rant she goes on after she finds out cassian was going to kill her father. like all the sudden she fucking cares about the rebellion and is shading him? get off your pedestal.
Favorite episode (scene if movie): i love when she’s facing krennic at the end, when she’s getting the signal out
Favorite season/movie: Rogue One….since it’s sadly the only one
Favorite line: “We’ll take the chance. And the next one. and the one after that.”
Favorite outfit: i’m very gay
OTP: jyn/cassian
Brotp: jyn/k2, jyn/bodhi
Head Canon: n/a
Unpopular opinion: i love the ending of rogue one. i don’t think there’s any other way it could’ve ended
A wish: part of me wishes we could’ve gotten a kiss, but i also love that they didn’t because then you can read it as platonic too, it doesn’t have to be a romantic relationship
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: again it’s over so… yeah
5 words to best describe them: determined, survivalist, strong, resilient, stubborn
My nickname for them: n/a
Rachel Green
Why I like them: to be honest i’m not even entirely sure why i love rachel so much, but she was the first character i fell in love when i was little, and i loved her ever since. she’s such a resilient character, when she gets knocked down, she gets right back up
Why I don’t: she can be a little vague and naive at times. also she keeps going back to ross which is annoying
Favorite episode (scene if movie): there’s a lot but the cheesecake episode always sticks out to me. when she and chandler are eating cheesecake off the floor
Favorite season/movie: whenever she moves in with joey. it’s such a fun dynamic
Favorite line: "It’s not that common, it doesn’t happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!”
Favorite outfit: do you mean actual fashion icon rachel green? it’s hard to pick a favorite
OTP: i honestly don’t think i really have one for her. my biggest rachel ship is rachel/chandler but its not otp level
Brotp: rachel/chandler, rachel/monica/phoebe, rachel/joey
Head Canon: Idk
Unpopular opinion: is there any unpopular rachel opinions? other than she’s amazing which for some reason is controversial
A wish: rachel/joey never happened. i hated that storyline. so much
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: again, it’s over so….yeah
5 words to best describe them: ambitious, fashionable, naive, loyal, strong
My nickname for them: n/a
Thank you!

SWEEPO HEADCANON MASTERPOST
~swirlswift -ask-sidekick-number-one •asks
~”Who wants to see me throw my boyfriend?” Is a common question. ~Swirl is uneasy around Robbie, partially due to the fact he listens in on their conversations. ~”I know you said no more animals but I found this raccoon and he’s so cute!” ~Once a month Swirl just randomly leaves for a few days in a row and doesn’t respond to Peepo’s texts, he panics the entire time and when she get’s back she offers no excuse as to where she was. ~-kicking down the door- ”PEEPO I JUST SHAVED MY LEGS, FEEL THEM!” ~Sometimes Swirl is so much like a cat it’s not even funny. She falls asleep in patches of sun, one second she’ll be cuddly as Hell and the next she’ll be hissing at you, and Peepo know’s that if he pets her hair she will purr. ~”STOP GRABBING MY ASS I AM TRYING TO SLEEP…SOCK!” ~Once they were making out and Swirl just pulled away and whispered, “Waluigi and Hallelujah have the exact same syllables.” ~Swirl changes his phone wallpaper any chance she gets, and it’s always related to Shrek the Musical. ~Peepo once woke up to find Swirl staring at him. Since then he’s slept with his back to her. ~”Did you just quote Sharknado while I’m trying to be romantic?” ~Peepo is taller and he teases Swirl for it. ~ Peepo -as he’s slowly turning around-: What do you mean you accidentally set the toilet on fire? ~Swirl -as she’s slowly turning around-What do you mean I have to stop wearing your clothes…just wear the Foxy Grandpa shirt I gave you! ~”…” “…” “…” “…” “…You already know what I’m going to say.” “…” “…” “…Do I?” “STOP SENDING MY BOSS PICTURES OF RANDOM PEOPLES BUTTS, IT’S NOT OKAY!” ~Swirl finds cute blankets with like pictures of the Lion King or something and just puts them on the bed. Peepo just learns to fold them onto her if he doesn’t want to be sweating all night. ~ Swirl once sat on the bed and stared at Peepo with a horrified expression on her face for three hours straight while he worked on stuff, he now sprays her with a water bottle if he ever catches her staring for more than five minutes. ~ “Can I sit here and die?” “Wanna hug?” “…Yes…” “TEDDY!” “NO!” ~ “Shhhut up.” “DO NOT TELL THE POLICE TO SHUT UP!” ~ “I love you.” “I’M KINKSHAMING YOU!” ~ Peepo once kicked Swirl off the bed because he walked in the room one night while she was sleeping and she farted for exactly 46 seconds. He Febreezed that shit. ~Peepo never meets her real dad (Subject to change?) ~ Swirl isn’t her real name ~ They were in Team Aqua at the same time, but she didn’t use the same name and she had a Vapereon named Puddles. ~ Peepo: -SCREAMING THE ENTIRE HAMILTON SOUNDTRACK AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS WHILE SWIRL REFUSES TO TAKE OFF HIS SHIRT AND STOP BULLYING ROBBIE, NOT SINGING, SCREAMING- ~ “…Please?” “No.” “Please?” “NO.” “Pretty please with sprinkles on top?” “YOU ARE NOT FILLING ROBBIES LAIR WITH COPIES OF SHREK!” ~ If Peepo ever loses Swirl in a crowd he plays the Kim Possible theme and she comes running. If she ever loses him, she plays the Sonic colors theme and he takes off at the speed of sound. ~Swirl unironically wears Christmas shirts on days other than Christmas, Peepo teases her for it constantly. ~Swirl takes Peepo’s clothes and wears them around, he doesn’t mind this as long as she doesn’t mess them up. ~Peepo always lets her dye his hair, and she always lets him dye hers. ~Sock eventually gets used to Peepo and doesn’t throw him around as much. ~Cuddling is one of their favorite pass times. ~Swirl is capable of throwing Peepo, she will exercise this ability whenever the opportunity arises. ~At least once a week they have to deal with the other grunts playing the Titanic song on a Slide Whistle. ~”NO SWIRL!” Is a common phrase ~Swirl never wakes up without her hair in her face -Despite being taller, when they cuddle, Peepo is the little spoon. This is due to him sleeping very curled up. -‘Pikachu’ eventually starts to view Swirl as a mom, the same way he views Peepo as a dad. -‘Pikachu’ requires the occasional Swirl cuddle as a result. -The reason Gandalf only listens to Peepo is because their psyches are linked with a strong emotional bond. Eventually, due to Peepo and Swirl forming a second emotional bond, he is tangentially linked to Swirl and listens to her. -Peepo wants very badly to call Swirl ‘Swirly’ but is worried she’d get upset. -Over time, when Swirl suggests murder, Peepo’s response shifts from “NO!” to “There she goes again. -Peepo loves to sing and will sometimes sing love songs he likes to Swirl. -Swirl comes home one day and finds Peepo crying. She asks what’s wrong, and after that they have fights over if he’s allowed to have ‘It’s Quiet Uptown’ on his phone or not. -Peepo naruto runs all over the place. Every single time he does so Swirl threatens to break up with him. -Robbie is absolutely disgusted when they show affection but he and Sport kiss in front of Peepo all the time. -Peepo tries to explain that this is a double standard, but Robbie fails to understand. -One time Peepo comes home with a bag full of Sonic shirts. His only explanation is “I like video games.” -Swirl tries to say “Other games exist.” and he responds “I know.” -They use memes to show their love. -Peepo finds an injured Pyukumuku and tries to nurse it back to health without Swirl finding out. -When she does, she doesn’t talk to him for like a week. -Swirl tries to prank him for the first week of April instead of just the first day and he cries because the second is his birthday. -Peepo tries to lay down the law and stop her pranking Robbie. She just has to do puppy dog eyes, though, and he breaks. -Despite always saying he’s fine after getting hurt, he’s super fragile. He just doesn’t want to worry Swirl. -She worries anyways -He makes her soup when she gets sick. It’s completely homemade. -She makes him soup when he gets sick. It’s from a can. •Peepo will kill a guy if they start flirting with Swirl. •Swirl is oblivious to other guys flirting with her, Peepo constantly tries explaining it to her and in the end keeps a hand on her waist when other guys talk to her. If anyone still tries to flirt they catch those hands. •Swirl is super skinny because she’s always moving around and keeping busy and energetic because she eats so much sugar. Peepo has to make sure she doesn’t fall asleep anywhere because she’s lazy at times. Sometimes when she sleeps she talks and he can have little conversations with her and call her nicknames and such. •whenever the other has nightmares, swirl or peepo whispers things absently in their ear in an effort to help before waking them up.
Pokeparenting- ~Swirl spends two hours a day everyday with one Pokemon throughout the week, bonding with them. ~Peepo isn’t thrown around as much by Sock, but he’s hugged twice as much by Teddy. ~Swirl caught Peepo calling himself daddy once when talking to his Pokemon, so from now on when the Pokemon act up she tells them to go see their father. ~Sock and ‘Pikachu’ tend to clash heads, but it’s often Sock who starts them and Cedric to end them. ~Swirl calls Cedric Handsome boy, Gandalf Smart Boy, and ‘Pikachu’ Precious Boy. -Peepo does his best to train Sock, but Sock never listens. He always believes in him, though.
-‘Pikachu’ will ride on either of their heads.
-Gandalf will babysit the Pokémon if necessary, he is the smartest and strongest. Cedric helps.
-Sock stops getting mad when people say Pikachu because it’s said so often.
-Angel and Snowslash will fight about who’s more elegant.
Actual Parenting- ~Peepo is so confused sometimes it’s not even funny, he once mistook baby formula for vinegar and it was horrible. ~The kid likes to climb in their parents bed, Peepo and Swirl just sorta go with it. ~Swirl dresses her kids in clothes from either gender, which confuses others when it comes to what gender the baby actually is. ~“It’s okay baby, mommy cries when her bottle’s empty too.” ~“I’m gonna kill Stacey from the PDA, SHE SAID MY BROWNIES WERE STORE BROUGHT! I SPENT HOURS AND LOTS OF MONEY BUYING THE WEED TO MAKE THOSE BROWNIES!” “Swirl, sweetie, stop screaming I just put the bab- YOU PUT WEED IN THE PDA MEETING BROWNIES?” ~Family Movie Nights commonly end with everybody falling asleep in front of the TV. ~“No you can not Lion King the baby.” ~“STOP LEAVING THE BABIES AT ROBBIES!” -They have 2 kids, a boy and a girl.
-Peepo does his best, but he didn’t have actual parents for most of his life and doesn’t really know what he’s doing.
-One of the kids comes home and says he’s being bullied and Swirl just says “kill them”
-Sock doesn’t throw the kids, he knows he will be locked up in a kennel
-Cedric and Teddy love to play with the kids
