KOTLC future headcanon
When Amy Foster grows up, she goes to college and studies psychology and its related fields to become a therapist. Because of her good standing with Bronte as well as her connection to Sophie, a special contract is made which grants Amy permission to travel to the Lost Cities and provide therapy and counseling services for the Elves.
Amy goes on to have a successful career in the human world, but her primary and most beloved work is her top secret regular travels to the elven cities. Over time, with Sophie and friends now also adults, some changes take place in leadership positions, whether that be new Council members, members of the now openly recognized Black Swan, or other organizations, and steps are slowly being taken to make some level of reconnection between the human and elven worlds.
But Amy Foster is sadly still mortal, and some of the elves realize that one day she will not be there to continue providing the services she's introduced to the elven world and which have started to make a positive impact on the mental and emotional health of their people. So Rex Dizznee takes it upon himself to sneak off to the human world and dig into this world of psychology and mental health studies himself. At first this is a secret act of counterculture rebellion, but eventually it is endorsed by some of the new leadership, and they help provide resources and protection for his mission.
And so it is that the talentless and once socially scorned Rex Dizznee is the first pioneer among elves in bringing the mental health movement to the Lost Cities. Because of his fame, talentless people are now not only accepted (thanks to the influence of people like Sophie and Dex and Keefe) but also applauded and admired. Rex is even appointed as leader of a group commissioned to collect and transfer academic resources from the human world to improve the elves' own study of psychology. (Keefe might be able to help with his photographic memory, and maybe they could store some of the information in caches for safekeeping, as it's groundbreaking material for the Lost Cities.
So Amy is the first human and recognized professional therapist in the Lost Cities, and Rex is the first elven psychologist, commissioned researcher to the Forbidden Cities, and the first talentless elf to become famous for something good.

KOTLC Miraculous AU (pt. 3)
Part one;
Part two;
Nino: Jensi OKAY SO MY REASONING; the part that Nino plays is a fun friend who's totally detached from Adrien's modelling, upper-class life. So I ran into an issue with Keefe being both Nino and Chloe. (NO KEEFE BEING THE CHLOE DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEIR FRIENDSHIP WILL END, FITZ WILL END UP WITH MULTIPLE BEST FRIENDS AND PLEASE READ FIRST PART FOR MORE DETAILS ON CHLOE KEEFE) There's also like. no other male main character that's even got anything other than Wylie. (and no offense to Wylie. He's cool I just permanently have him being at least 5 years older than the oldest of the main main cast mentally so it's hard thinking of him as anything but that and thus it's kinda awkward) so this is a chance to flesh out Jensi more!! He's also like, the kid who talks to people quickly and is really friendly, so I figured he'd be a good fit.
As for the rest of the characters, there's...welp this is the end. Mainly because I can't really find any other 'roles' they can fulfil since I've done the mains already. So they'll backfill, but I'll try to give them their own arcs as well.
For the adult characters, Sophie will be adopted by Edaline and Grady in the beginning already. They run an extremely successful bakery with multiple outlets across Paris. also should Jolie still be dead or be an older sister figure to Sophie? for funsies (and also because Amy's in a coma in the AU)
Gabriel: Alden. Yall knew this was coming the MOMENT I put Fitz as Adrien.
Felix: Alvar. HEAR ME OUT. ALVAR BEING MORE LIKE A DISTANT COUSIN (because reasons I haven't figured out yet) than older brother BECAUSE OF HOW OFTEN HE'S AWAY. Alvar returning and stirring Fitz into further rebellion (and making Alden remember why he threatened to disown his oldest son and failure) Alvar having his own agenda, that both lines up and collides with the heroes' (protecting Fitz, and then Biana when she returns)
Also just to clarify; my in-the-drafts AU is not season 1, season 2, season 3. Season 1 is mainly filler, and while I'm planning to use the 'villain of the week' eps turned into actual character development, I'm just trying my best. I also, plainly, just do not want to write 26/(maybe more including s2 eps) chapters just being recolors of the same episode with Sophie and Fitz's names over Mari and Adrien's. that is a rabbit hole I have seen many fall into and I don't think I could stand being that plotless (sorry)
Finally, depending on how much of the filler I cut, I'm looking at the entire story spanning about maybe two years at most. (keep in mind I am trying to avoid s4 and s5 entirely. just. no. I cannot draw out a reveal scene that long I'm trying to plan it in conjunction when Sophie and Fitz finally successfully hunt down the verse Master Fu)

Quill, I have a very fun question for you.
So, you know how in Stellarlune, Sophie, Dex, and Tam were volunteered to babysit the triplets? Well, how do you think that would turn out? Cause while Dex and Sophie definitely have experience with annoying little siblings, Tam doesn’t have as much.
-⚙️
I vaguely remember that scene, and I'm not sure how it would go! Perhaps I'll figure it out as I talk.
Here's the thing. I don't think Sophie would actually be very useful, not at first. Sure, she had an annoying little sister. But they were close enough in age and young enough I doubt Sophie was ever seriously responsible for her--especially with how protective William and Emma were. And the triplets are on a whole other level of annoying and destructive. Amy making teasing comments and singly bad karaoke simply doesn't compare to property destruction, constant screaming, the elixirs, etc.
Tam I don't think would want anything to do with the situation and would try to get as far from it as possible. Real permissive. You leave him alone he leaves you alone, you know? I don't imagine he's a fan of kids in general. He seems the type to try and avoid them--not necessarily to be mean to them, he just doesn't want to deal with them.
Sophie would try to help Dex, but I think it would ultimately all come down to him. They're his siblings, so he's a lot more familiar with them and comfortable telling them off. This isn't Sophie, Dex, and Tam babysitting, this is Dex babysitting with some friends over at the same time.
However! That does not mean, just because he's the only one comfortable and willing to be upfront and strict with them, that they're listening! I think them trying to babysit the triplets would ultimately end in chaos no matter how hard they tried. The best they could do is direct them into some activity like running around playing a game outside--but that depends on whether they cooperate, and for how long, and for how long the triplets need to be watched. And even then they could find a way to make it regrettable (playing tag turns into mud wrestling or something).
I don't think the triplets can be babysat, I think they can be resignedly observed--no matter which of the kotlcrew is watching them. Hmm, maybe Stina would stand a chance. Perhaps Marella. But regardless, Sophie, Tam, and Dex are not Stina or Marella. So Kesler and Juline will be coming home to muddy kids, paint on the walls, and scorch marks in the bathtub. And a completely untouched very ugly Yeti statue :)
#kotlc#quil's queries#⚙️ nonsie#i just don't think the kotlcrew is up to the task of reigning in the triplets#they're very competent people but it would be /exhausting/#and they don't know what to do with kids#(disregarding the fact that they themselves are kids)#does this make sense?#but anyway! it's a fun prospect!

My opinion on each kotlc book.
These are my personal opinions on each book so yeah if you dont agree cool I really don't care. I'm working on rereading the series so i show a better opinion on the books i havent read for awhile. Tw: Spoilers.
•Book one- Kotlc
Its good it's the most page time Dex has, but couldn't the black swan leave a note or something being like hey we're not the bad guys. Also why did forkle leave Sophie and Dex alone with no way to get back to the Lost Cities. I feel bad for sophie too because in this book fitz comes in and is like "Yeahhh.... so your an elf and can't live with humans. Oh also you know all the stuff the humans taught you... yeah it's wrong."
•Book 2- Exile
Again another good one except dex doesn't have nearly enough page time. Silveny is the best animal in the series I also think this is the first book that Iggy gets a makeover. Also Keefe getting more page time I love, the sokeefe moments. And of course the neverseen makes an appearance. And Sophie almost being killed by limbium. And brant being a psycho. And Sophie seeing her wanderling.
•Book 3- Everblaze
The saddest so far with the best councilor being killed. But he was trying to protect Sophie and Alden and fitz. Oh yeah and Alden's mind being broken and fitz being a bitch and lashing out at everyone. Rip Kenric
•Book 4- Neverseen
This book contains a bunch of sofitz. This when I was battling shipping sokeefe and sofitz which lasted until book 8. Loved calla and rip her
•Book 5- Lodestar
Took me the longest because of Keefe joining the neverseen. Poor Sophie. And Keefe being dumb was mainly in this.
•Book 6- nightfall
YAY SOPHIES PARENTS ARE ALIVE. This is the most page time Amy's gotten. It's not bad but yeah.
Book 7- flashback
Sofitz gets together kinda annoying but I had hight expectations for this ship but it kinda sunk quickly. They about kiss then sliveny goes into labor (Ty silveny for breaking that kiss before it could happen) The vackers get exposed. And Sophie and fitz get stuck in the healing center for a month and sokeefe moments are the best. BUT SOPHIE BEING UNMATCHABLE
Book 8- legacy
This is my favorite book so far (Tho 8.5 is close) SOFITZ BREAKS UP. Poor Sophie having to deal with Fitz temper. Glad they did. Sofitz was doomed from the start. And poor Keefe omg I shed the most tears over this book. And poor Keefe and his toxic mom being the mf she is. But the sokeefe is cute. Even though Sophie is unmatchable FITZ WASNT THERE he offered to help her find her parents. Also I'm not that surprised that orlie isn't Sophie's mom. I've suspected for awhile.
Book 8.5- Unlocked
I like the background we get for the characters. Keefes stuff is the best. It's also the most page time Dex has gotten in while. I like how in novella we get Sophie and keefes perspective. It made if more enjoyable. Keefes file is just hilarious. The art was gorgeous and I loved how some ot the pages looked like actual writing.
Book 9- Stellarlune
Alright this book was good arguable better then 8.5 and 8. I loved the kiss in chapter 42 and jealous fitz was great. I didn't like everyone's attitude at all. (I wrote an entire post on that) but ro got a bunch of page time and so did dex so that was great. Kenric gets the most page time he's had ever. (Not him being mentioned) and same with Oralie. I don't understand why Sophie hates her so much she does have some valid points but not many. I had such expectations for the kiss and it met them perfectly. Overall fitz handled things pretty well so yeah. Keefe and Sophie flirting yes please. OMFG THE CLIFFHANGER. I can't wait to see what happens 10.

lovelytsunoda’s definitive motorsports fiction rec-list
because i am a bookworm and aspiring goodreads influencer. this is where i am going to fawn over fictional men and addictive storytelling.
part one/ ?
throttled - lauren asher ( dirty air #1 )*
rating: 4 stars
where to begin with this one? i have a whole pinterest board but that’s a story for another day. maya alatorre’s brother santiago just beame the secondary driver for bandini and she’s joining the team on the road for race season, where she meets ( and ultimatley falls in love with ) noah slade, formula one’s resident golden boy and legacy driver with daddy issues. featuring enemies to lovers, brother’s rival and secret romance.
collided - lauren asher ( dirty air #2 )*
rating: 4.5 stars
set in the same world as throttled, collided follws sophie mitchell, daughter of bandini team principal james mitchell as she spends the summer on the road with the team, and finds her way into the arms of german mccoy driver liam zander ( who is literally the PERFECT man, like he hits every single point on my trifecta: he’s german, he drives a formula one car and he reads books ). liam is mccoy’s resident bad boy, and his pr team has him on a dating ban after he sleeps with the team principals niece. sophie has a naughty ( vvv spicy ) bucket list, and liam offers to help her out, falling hopelesley in love along the way.
thunderstruck - roxanne st.clair ( harlequin nascar )
rating: 3.5 stars
shelby jackson is the co-owner of the last family owner team in the nascar nextel cup series. sadly, thunder racing is in a terrible financial position and they haven't won anything in years. something that british soccer player mick churchill wants to change when he offers to by the other half of the team. shelby is unimpressed, and keeps trying to push mick out of the business, ultimately falling in love with him in the process. shelby is a girlboss, who commands attention everywhere she goes. mick is a dumbass, match made in heaven. the cover on this one SUCKS but the book is pretty good for being written in 2007, however it lacks any sexy time scenes, as the scenes always cut before there is any real smut.
flash and bones - kathy reiches ( temperance brennan / bones #14 )
rating: 4.5 stars
a dead body is found in an oil drum in the waste processing facility behind the charlotte motor speedway ahead of nascar race week. forensic anthropologist temperance brennan lands the case, and begins looking into the disappearance of a seventeen year old girl and her older boyfriend twelve years prior at the behest of a nascar mechanic related to one of the missing. from there, it’s a rich mystery and vast conspiracy involving militia groups, the fbi, biotoxins and car racing. listen, i was already in love with detective andrew ryan from the other temperance brennan books, but to find out that he is a jacques villeneuve fan, i am swooning.
wrecked - lauren asher ( dirty air #3 )*
rating: 5 stars
this book broke me, i'm not even kidding. this book is forced proximity and enemies to lovers between driver jax kingston and elena gonzalez, his media rep. they both have torubled pasts, and i f i could just warp them both in bubble wrap and protect then from the rowld, i would. jax is dangerously self-destructive, and elena has a hard time letting people in, but once they break down their walls (and god does it take a while) they are truly made for each other.
yes i cried like a baby, no i will not elaborate.
taming zach - amy sparling ( team loco #1 )
rating: 3 stars even.
cute, wholesome but predicatable and a little lame. this book follows motocross racer zach pena who has lost his focus on the sport and this also lost his place at the summer classic. as he risks getting cut from the team, he heads back home to hopewell, where he falls in love with bree grayson, the daughter of the groundskeeper ath hopewell motocross park. it's calssic good girl-bad boy shit, and it's been done many times before. although it can get steamy, there's no smut.
currently undecided if im actually going to finish the series.
redeemed - lauren asher ( dirty air #4 )*
rating: 5 stars
santaigo motherfucking alatorre. santaigo is recovering from a crash at silverstone three years ago that resulted in the loss of his right leg. since the crash, he's sequestered himself inside his mansion on lake como and hidden himself away from the world. chole carter never knew who her father was. after her roomate buys her a drugstore dna kit, she finally has her father's identity and finds herself on a trip to lake como to find him.
what i really liked about this one was that as they fell in love with each other, they also learned how to love themselves more in the process.
the final ranking order i have for the dirty air series (and men) is as follows: 1. Redeemed (Santi), 2. Wrecked (Jax), 3. Collided (Liam), 4. Throttled (Noah).
*bonus chapters are available for all the dirty air books at lauren asher’s website!

Leverage OT3 headcanons
@girl-next-door-writes
Eliot is the best classical dancer of the three.
Hardison isn’t bad, per-se, but he can’t quite get his feet under him during more complicated waltzes and tangos.
Parker is technically astounding- having an expert level of control over every inch of her body certainly helps, but she’s stiff- too technical- she doesn't feel the music.
Parker and Hardison both steal Eliot’s bandanas. He pretends to be grumpy but doesn’t mind.
Eliot and Parker both steal sweaters from Hardison. He only complains when he says Eliot's big muscle stretch it out (but really he will sacrifice any day to see Eliot in his clothes)
Hardison buys most of their clothes because Eliot really doesn’t care and Parker has better things to do than clothes shopping most of the time.
On that note, every single item he buys for them is perfectly tailored. From funny t-shirts to formal wear, every item goes through the best tailor on the west coast.
Eliot buys 90% of their food, on the other hand.
It makes it easier to limit the amount of orange soda and chocolate his partners consume.
Parker…. Parker doesn't really have a theme in what she buys. One day it might be ten boxes of cereal, the next a diamond necklace she might’ve stolen for fun.
Parker is really, really good at giving gifts.
Eliot and Hardison have never once guessed what she got them for Christmas. Never. It drives Hardison insane.
They rarely sleep three in a bed.
Could they? For sure. Hardison has a California king with plenty of room for all three of them to sleep comfortably.
But, none of them have normal sleep schedules, which makes it hard to coordinate sleep times.
Also, Eliot or Parker need space sometimes, which is why there are two guest rooms with full-sized beds.
They usually sleep in the same bed about twice a week, though it can be more or less just depending on what happens.
When they all sleep together Hardison sleeps in the middle,on his stomach. Eliot lays flat on his back, on the side nearest the door. He does usually lay up against Hardison. Parker usually sleeps curled up on her side facing the window with her back pressed against Hardison’s side.
Eliot has a favorite cooking knife that No One touches.
Eliot’s love language is acts of service.
Parker likes the idea of cooking. She usually gets bored with it halfway through, if she tries it alone, but likes to help Eliot in the kitchen.
They don’t usually wear rings because those can get caught on things too easily, which is particularly dangerous for Eliot and Parker.
They are also very easy to lose.
Instead, they each have a small tattoo on their hip. They took a recording of each of them saying I love you and tattooed the soundwave on their hip. It’s small enough to cover easily if a con calls for it.
Sophie did not realize they were //together// until she saw the tattoo on Parker and asked what it meant.
They all assumed she knew, including Nate.
Amy is in charge of telling Hardison all the rumors the new Brewpub staff members come up with about their relationship and about what they do.
The current theory is that Hardison and Parker, a couple, are in witness protection and Eliot is their Marshall. They also think that Parker is cheating on Hardison with Eliot.
Amy and the two other long time staffers just keep quiet.
First, because they think it’s hilarious (Hardison does too), and second, because Eliot and Hardison are the best bosses they’ve ever had and they don’t want them to get in trouble. Amy is also in charge of making sure that the rumors don’t go too far.
Amy deserves a raise.
Hardison also likes to dispel the relationship rumors by giving Eliot a quick kiss in front of the staff.
Eliot thinks it’s silly but doesn't really mind. He can humor his partner.
Parker just doesn't care. If any of the staff were brave enough to ask her she would tell them the truth.
However, no one will ask her because while she is very friendly, if a little strange, they have all seen her drop out of the rafters randomly. Also, the story of her thwarting a kidnapping still runs rampant and Amy refuses to confirm or deny them.

Impossible-13
Pairing: Eric Northman x reader
Warnings: Canon typical. Feelings.
A/N: A friendly reminder that I have changed Canon. Amy and Jason weren’t a thing. Therefore they didn’t take Eddie. Which means Lafeyette is not in Eric’s basement. Amongst other things.
***
Sam had already started to come around by the time Sookie knelt over him. He returned with her to check on you and you quickly averted your gaze. There were some things you were perfectly happy not knowing. “Clothes, Sam. Then go to Sook’s and call the cops. See if you can find my phone while you’re there. It should be in the living room somewhere.
He hesitated only a moment before nodding and hurrying off to do as you asked without argument. That was a nice change.
Sookie settled onto the ground beside you and took your hand in hers. “You saved me. Thank you.”
You hummed in acknowledgment not willing to expend the energy it would take to say anything else. Suddenly, you coughed and groaned at the pain that rolled through you with the action. You may be more resilient than the average human, but a bullet in the chest was a bullet in the chest. You could only be thankful that it had apparently missed anything vital. You assumed so anyway since you were still breathing. You kept your breaths shallow to keep your chest from moving too much. God, you hurt.
Sam returned with your phone about the time you heard sirens in the distance. “Thanks,” you said as he slipped it into your hand. You almost immediately dropped it. “Fuck.” There was nothing more frustrating than a body that didn’t work the way it was supposed to. You stretched your fingers and rubbed your hand against your leg trying to wake it up.
When you fumbled with it again, Sookie gently pulled it away from you. “What are you trying to do?”
You cleared your throat and winced. “Missed calls.”
Her eyes went wide as she looked at the screen and you chuckled. You figured. “27. They all say Eric or Pop.”
Before you could tell her to call Eric, your phone rang again. “Answer it. Put it on speaker.”
“Yeah,” you greeted when Sookie had done as you asked. Your voice was tight, pained.
“Y/N?” Eric’s frantic voice washed over you. “Are you all right? What the hell is going on?”
“We’re still a couple of hours from sundown. Someone needs to drive me to you.” You managed to get the words out through the pain. You weren’t certain how long you could keep doing so. It had been a long time since you hurt this bad. Fucking Rene. Drew. Whatever the fuck his name was. Asshole.
“What is her condition, Sookie?” His voice had taken on that hard edge it got when he was worried. Or angry. Probably both at the moment.
“How’d you know I was here?” she asked.
“I can hear you breathing. Answer the question.”
“I-I’m not sure. There’s a lot of blood.” Her voice trembled and Sam wrapped an arm around her.
“And the person responsible?” If this were a different situation, you would have been turned on by that dark, protective note in his voice. No one ever said you didn’t have your issues.
Sookie swallowed and grimaced as she glanced at the asshole’s body. “Dead.”
“You are certain?”
You huffed a laugh at the disappointment that colored his words then groaned in pain. “Fuck you,” you managed to get out and Eric chuckled in response.
Two police cars and an ambulance wailed to a stop on the road in front of the cemetery. “The ambulance is here. Maybe she should just go to the hospital,” Sam piped up.
“No,” you and Eric said in unison.
The corner of your mouth twitched. At least the two of you agreed on something.
“Company?” he asked.
The other two looked confused so you answered him. “Ballentine.”
“Give me a moment.”
The EMTs knelt beside you as the cops shouted questions. You ignored them all, the edges of your vision going fuzzy. That’s no good. Hurry up, Eric.
You no sooner had the thought then he returned. “I’ll see you soon. And I’ll call your father.” Damn, he must be really worried if he was volunteering to call Roman.
He hung up and one of the EMT’s phones started to ring. After a quick conversation, he knelt down and looked you in the eye. “You’re all taken care of. Let’s get you out of here.”
An excruciating wave of pain swamped you as they lifted you onto the gurney and everything went black.
***
Awareness came slowly. Fingers sweeping strands of hair from your face. A low voice making promises and declarations, though you only understood about half of them. Arms holding you against the chest you leaned on.
“Awaken, mitt allt. You must drink.” Eric’s voice was a comforting buzz in your ear even if you didn’t care for the pleading note it carried.
You grasped onto one of his arms as you shifted to make yourself more comfortable. A hiss accompanied the pain motion brought with it. Eric sighed in relief and some of the tension flowed from his body. He wouldn’t completely relax until you were healed.
He bit into his wrist before holding it to your mouth. You pressed your lips to his skin and sucked the healing liquid into your mouth. At first you were timid, tender but as your body began to stitch back together you held his wrist against your lips. You drank deeply then, eager to rid yourself of the agony you’d been living in since the cemetery. Eric shifted beneath you with a moan and you smirked as you pulled away.
You maintained the grip on his arm and held it against your chest as you nestled your head further into his. The fingers of his free hand ran through your hair as the two of you just relished being in each other’s presence. “Better?” he finally asked, breaking the silence.
“Better,” you agreed.
His hand shifted so his fingers trailed down your spine and back up. “No more helping the riffraff unless I accompany you.”
You sighed but didn’t say anything not really caring to get into an argument at the moment.
“Do you have any idea how close you were to death? How much blood you lost? I could feel you growing weaker with every passing second and there was nothing I could do.” He took a deep breath. “I realize that you may be willing to sacrifice yourself to do what you think is right, but are you willing to sacrifice me? Because if you die, I will as well. My fate has been tied to yours from the moment I met you. As much as I tried to deny it, that is the truth.”
“Fine,” you said after a moment’s thought. “But the same goes for you. No secrets, Eric. Let me help you. What good is having Roman for my father if I can’t use it to our advantage?”
He laughed as you’d wanted him to when you said it. You tilted your head back so you could see his face. His gaze met yours for a brief moment, then he leaned forward and kissed you. You ran your fingers through his hair and held him to you. When you finally separated, he leaned his forehead against yours. “I love you, Y/N.”
“I love you, too.” You tugged on his hair a bit and his brow furrowed. “Can I cut your hair?”
He grinned. “Pam will have my hide, but you may do as you wish.”
***
After you called your father to check in, you and Eric showered together in silence as you washed your blood from one another. Even though his blood had healed you, Eric was still taking care of you as though you needed it. He dried you off with one of the fluffy towels from his warmer before helping you dress in a pair of your sweats and one of his t-shirts. While he poured you a drink and ordered dinner, you changed the sheets on his bed so it would be ready in the morning.
“I could have done that,” he said and you looked up to find him leaning in the doorway.
You shrugged. “I’m just as capable. Get me what I need and I’ll cut your hair while we talk.”
Once the two of you were ready, you started on his hair. It was a few minutes before you started to tell the story of what happened that day. You only paused when the doorbell rang signaling the food was there. You sat it on the counter and went to finish up Eric’s hair. It was pretty good all things considered. And he hated going to a salon.
“And what did our little telepath think about you decapitating your assailant?” It was the first thing he’d said since you’d started talking.
“Pretty sure she was just glad she wasn’t dead at that point, Eric.” You ran your fingers through his hair to make sure everything was even, touching up as needed.
“Don’t be surprised if she distances herself. Humans often have difficulty accepting the necessity of our actions.”
You rolled your eyes. “Seriously? You’re going to talk to me about people distancing themselves?” You took the towel from his neck and dropped it onto the one at your feet. You could clean it up later. You were starving.
He stood and wrapped an arm around your waist to pull you to him. His lips trailed up the line of your neck. “I just don’t want you to be disappointed if it should happen.”
You shrugged. You learned long ago that friendships were fickle things, even if you did save them from psychotic serial killers. “I’ll be fine.” You patted his chest. “Now, let’s eat. I’m so hungry.”
He laughed as he released his hold and followed you to the kitchen. The two of you sat at the table with your plates and you immediately dug in. “There is something we should discuss,” he said once you’d gotten some food into your belly.
You arched a brow and motioned for him to keep talking.
“Sophie-Anne contacted me yesterday to inform me that I would be assisting her in a new money-making endeavor.” He tapped his silverware on the table but didn’t continue.
Your brow furrowed as you realized he was bothered by whatever he had discussed with his queen. What the hell was Sophie-Anne up to now? It was no secret that she was in some serious trouble with the IRS after not paying taxes for years. Even death wasn’t an escape from taxes anymore. “What is it, Eric?”
His eyes darted up from the table to meet your gaze. “I fear what I tell you may be a death sentence for her. Sophie-Anne and I have had our differences, but she’s a decent queen, all things considered.”
“If it’s that serious, you shouldn’t be involved. She’ll hide behind her title and her denials while you pay the price for her scheming.” Vampire politics were messy at the best times and deadly at the worst. If it wasn’t for you, it would be Eric’s word against Sophie’s should something happen. And odds were, they’d accuse Eric of treason for speaking against her and he’d be killed while she got off scot free. It was one of the things you and your father argued about the most.
Eric nodded in acknowledgement of your words and took a deep breath. “She wants me to find someone to deal V for her.”
Holy shit. Eric was right. Sophie-Anne was dead. And it wouldn’t be the Magister delivering the sentence. No, your father would be visiting much sooner than he’d intended.

TV | Leverage (Season 2, Rewatch)
Rewatch of the second season of TNT's LEVERAGE (2008-2012), created by John Rogers and Chris Downey together with Dean Devlin and his production company Electric Entertainment.
In anticipation of the show's reboot / revival / sequel LEVERAGE: REDEMPTION coming to IMDbTV on 09 July this year, I am rewatching the original 77 episodes and writing about my favourite moments and things from each episode, season by season.
201: THE BEANTOWN BAILOUT JOB
D: DEAN DEVLIN. W: JOHN ROGERS. Original Air Date: 15 July 2009.
We here at the Rabbit Hole adore the Beantown Bailout Job very much (and by we I mean me). It is such a great season-opener and everything about it sets up the season so nicely. Also let me just say, I love the cheesy intro. I like to imagine that this plays on whatever website the clients usually end up finding the team. It would be so confusing. And wonderful.
This episode, of course, also introduces another of my favourite characters: Lt. Patrick Bonanno, State Police. And I am very sad that there is zero chance we'll ever get to see him in the reboot, since the wonderful Robert Blanche has unfortunately passed away last year. Bonanno was such a fantastic addition to this show and I love him very much. He is just brilliant in every episode he is in.
Aside from the introduction of Bonanno, Beantown is a brilliant episode for various reasons, but I wanna talk about this one most of all. John Rogers talked about this on his blog, I think -- not one member of the team can come straight out and admit that they need the others. It is the impromptu meeting at Sophie's performance that brings them together again (very much against Nate's best attempts). Only once they're at McRory's and Parker suggests stealing something to cheer up Sophie is when they all fess up and tell Nate that they want this team back together again. And then, of course, we have one of my favourite sequences in this entire show: Nate forcefully being bullied back into this family. They do exactly what he did to them in The Second David Job -- they get him to contribute knowledge to the case that they, allegedly, lack. And he knows what they're doing, of course, he's not an idiot. Well played, indeed.
I would also like to personally thank one Nadine Haders, this show's most brilliant costume designer, for every single piece of clothing she put on Christian Kane for this episode. That green sweater with the brown jeans jacket? All my love to you, Nadine. All of it. Also, uncharacteristically, Nate has some very good looks in this episode (the man looks healthy for once!) and I am unreasonably mad about it (actually, he has some very good looks this entire season).
One last thing: I would like to have a word with whoever decided to play the Andy Lange song here that Sophie's departure in The Two Live Crew Job is set to. It makes this first half of the season a circle. Who do I need to have words with? Who?
202: THE TAP-OUT JOB
D: MARC ROSKIN. W: ALBERT KIM. Original Air Date: 22 July 2009.
An absolutely amazing episode for Eliot but also very much for Sophie. They are the Conference Of Mom Friends, and I adore them very much, thank you. It is a fantastic episode for them individually, but especially also for the specific relationship these two people have. There is an amazing post floating around on this website (this one here) talking exactly about this episode and Eliot and Sophie in the role of protectors in their team, their family.
There are a few scenes here that I really like and really, most of them are about or with Eliot. I love in the briefing at the hotel that Eliot does not just dismiss Sophie's misunderstanding of wrestling, but takes the time to explain to her what the sport is about -- and she listens. We also here get a nice glimpse at the fact that Eliot teaches them certain fighting skills and self-defence techniques, which I just love so much. Just as Sophie coaches them all in their grifts, he makes sure that they all have a certain know-how in fighting and protecting themselves. It's so good.
I am also very fond of both the moment where Eliot brings Sophie to the restaurant to meet with Rucker, but also Sophie showing up at the gym at night to talk to Eliot while he's preparing for the fight against Tank. Eliot gives away so much of himself in this episode, and it is very interesting to me that the person he does this with is, continually, Sophie. The others may be on comms, and might be, for all we know, listening in, but it is Sophie he tells these things to. It's like Hardison says later in The Two Live Crew Job: "We trust Nate to make sure the plan works, we trust you (Sophie) to make sure we're all okay." While I would not necessarily call Sophie the heart of the group (that's Hardison), she is very much the emotional centre of it.
This episode is also just very lovely to see how they all take to an environment that is, for once, not big city life. Eliot takes to it immediately, which makes sense, because he probably is from a town not much different from this one. Parker, somehow, fits in immediately as well (I love her I <3 Nebraska shirt). I feel like Nate never has any issues fitting in anywhere, he just takes things as they come. It is Hardison and Sophie who have difficulties -- Sophie because she is, after all, a bit posh and needs certain standards met, and Hardison because his world of technology does not mix well with a small, rural Midwestern town ("Can't hack a hick" anyone?).
203: THE ORDER 23 JOB
D: ROD HARDY. W: CHRIS DOWNEY. Original Air Date: 29 July 2009.
I occasionally see some posts on here that call what the team does to Charles Dodgson in 512: The White Rabbit Job the worst thing the team does to a mark. I have to say, objectively, I think what they do to Eddie Maranjian in this episode is much worse. Of course, Dodgson is a good person, and Eddie is a crook, but still. Objectively? This episode is more evil.
Anyway, this episode has some fantastic moments that I adore a whole lot. I love Eliot and Hardison as cops, Sophie's act is absolutely amazing, and I have a super soft spot for both Nate teaching Parker what he is doing, and also Eliot and his side quest of helping Randy.
I am so incredibly fond of all these little moments where Parker's eventual role of Mastermind is already being planted. She always asks Nate questions, if she doesn't have a part to play in the con, she is with Nate, learning. She says it in the pilot episode already: "I'm really good at one thing, only one thing, that's it. But you, you know other things, and I can't stop doing my one thing, can't retire." And then she does her best to learn the other things Nate knows. This episode particularly, how Nate explains to her how NLP works, that what he is selling is fear. Nate is so patient with her, too. I love them both so very much.
Eliot's side quest with Randy and his abusive dad is an absolutely excellent addition to this episode. Especially after the previous Eliot-centric episode, this small thing just goes to show that, at their core, these are good people. Yes, they are criminals, the lot of them. But they are not bad people. Things like this just make me think that, it had to have been this exact combination of people Dubenich put together. Any other thief, any other hacker, and Nate would have walked away from this alone. It had to be Parker, Hardison and Eliot for this to work exactly as it did. And Eliot looking out for Randy even though they are in the middle of a con, taking his time to make sure Bob, the U.S. Marshall goes to see Randy, is exactly something that brings this point home.
Lastly, I adore that everyone shows up at the court house when Eddie goes to find his money. He knows they all conned him, but they know no one is ever going to believe him. It's a fantastic gloat scene. And I also really love that Nate explains why this works to the others: "So, here's everything you need to know about criminal law. Every crime has two elements, Actus reus, the act itself, and mens rea, Literally "The Guilty Mind." ... Now, for escape, the prisoner has to both break out of custody and show the intent to escape. ... Which brings us back to our friend Eddie and how the brain reacts to fear. In the heat of the moment Eddie didn't ask himself a simple question, who would doubt his guilty mind?"
204: THE FAIRY GODPARENTS JOB
D: JONATHAN FRAKES. W: AMY BERG. Original Air Date: 05 August 2009.
This one was Bernie Madoff inspired, if I recall correctly, who was arrested in 2008, around the time Berg, Downey and Rogers were already bouncing ideas back and forth for this season.
There is so much to love in this episode! Where to even begin. Maybe with Parker replacing Sophie at the client meeting? Or Sophie immediately heading for both popcorn and the cookie tin after the breakup? How about Parker perching on Eliot's arm rest with her food? Nate's headmaster act? Eliot as Coach Brewer (red is a fantastic colour on him, thank you Nadine)? Hipster rich newlyweds Parker and Hardison? The return of my beloved FBI fools McSweetheart and Taggert? Taggert being McSweetheart's biggest supporter in his affection for Parker? Sophie and Widmark? The actual science-sical with all these adorable kids singing about science?
So much to love. Chock-full of greatness, this episode. Also Frakes, once again, directed the hell outta this. I love this episode so very much.
One moment that does, however, absolutely win out over everything else, is the scene at Nate's apartment after Hardison and Parker meet McSweeten and Taggert again:
Eliot: One of you two can identify the gunman, right? Hardison: Oh, yeah, sure. He stopped and let me take a picture of him as I was chasing him. Eliot: Hey, you know what, man? I've been around little kids all day. I don't need to come home and do all this crap.
That line, Mr Spencer? "I don't need to come home and do all this crap"? Home? Sir, we are four episodes into the second season, and you are already calling Nate's apartment home. Honestly, that boy has been invested into this group as a family from the moment Hardison hands him a check in the pilot episode, if not earlier. And I am very much here for all of it.
205: THE THREE DAYS OF THE HUNTER JOB
D: MARC ROSKIN. W: MELISSA GLENN & JESSICA RIEDER (GRASL). Original Air Date: 12 August 2009.
This is another one of those episodes which, when I think about it, I am not entirely into, but then when I watch it, I always love it. It's a brilliant episode, but the mark rubs me in all the wrong ways and I think that's why my general reaction to this episode in theory is mostly "ew". Which I think is kind of the point, as well.
There is much to love in this episode, though. Sophie being Nate in this one, Nate being very wary of this concept and also having difficulties letting someone else take control ("If you don't mind, I would still do the 'Hardison, run it' thing" Nathan you precious little man, I love you so much). I think it's so nicely done. I mean Sophie has run cons before -- she was the Mastermind behind the First David Job, and she runs their con in the Second David Job as well -- but then she was confident, now she is going through things, on the brink of rediscovering herself for who she is. And of course, it bites her in the ass a little bit.
I absolutely adore Conspiracy Nut Hardison and his fantastic apartment. Set Design did a magnificent job here. I am so fond of Parker asking Eliot about the different things -- the council, the moon landing, Loch Ness monster -- and also very much the bit at the end where he and Hardison answer Parker's questions while he prepares food. That ending bit overall is just absolutely excellent and I love it with my whole heart. Eliot cooking for all of them in Nate's kitchen, giving Parker stuff to try, while Hardison sits there and sips his orange soda out of a wine glass. Meanwhile Nate pouring wine for Sophie, and then going over to her to make sure she is alright. For his slightly more sadistic streak in this season, Nate is so good with Sophie here. And honestly I think this conversation here is one of the reasons why Sophie feels able to leave them for a while. It is Nate's reassurance of "Whatever you need, I'm here for you" that lets her take this leave of absence.
206: THE TOP HAT JOB
D: PETER O'FALLON. W: M. SCOTT VEACH & CHRISTINE BOYLAN. Original Air Date: 19 August 2009.
I adore this episode! The fantastic Veach and Boylan on the keyboard for this one (who, I've had to find out, are both tangentially involved with my latest hyperfixation, SHADOW AND BONE -- Veach having written my favourite episode, and Boylan being married to the showrunner), which is just lovely, because they are both excellent.
First off, I would like to, once again, give all my love to Nadine Haders for that Pizza Guy outfit she put Kane in for the recon sequence. A+ costuming, thank you Nadine.
This episode has so many excellent comedic beats and a wonderful many Hardison/Eliot moments. Sophie trying to set up Nate with their client is absolutely hysterical -- especially considering that she had just been broken up with and had been urging Nate to figure out what it is that is between them since day one. I especially love her attempt at finding things Nate has in common with Jameson: "She's a scientist. And well, you're a bit nerdy, aren't you? ... And food, she works with food. Well, you eat, don't you?" Like, girl, what are you trying to do here, really?
I absolutely adore Hardison and Eliot trying to get into the server room so Hardison can access the data they are trying to get before anyone can get rid of it. Eliot hooking Parker's rope to Hardison's belt, Eliot's complete awe at Hardison's ability to remote access their mark's phone ("You can do that?" Eliot, honey, he can do so much more), the two of them wedged underneath the desk, and then, of course, Eliot's huge smile when Hardison hacks the scanner at the door with the help of his gummy frogs. I love these boys together so much, and this episode has given me so many great moments.
I am also incredibly fond of Nate's magician act. That is a brilliant role and it suits him so well. And I love how genuinely enthusiastic he is about magic.
207: THE TWO LIVE CREW JOB
D: DEAN DEVLIN. W: JOHN ROGERS & AMY BERG. Original Air Date: 26 August 2009.
This is an absolutely brilliant episode for so many different reasons. Let me get two things out of the way straight off the bat: 1) Where do I address my "Chaos For Leverage: Redemption" campaign to? and 2) Where do I address my "Apollo Robbins For Leverage: Redemption" campaign to? I want both of them back desperately!
Of course, this episode is important as a major stepping stone in Sophie's character arc. Because of Chaos and his bomb, she has to kill off one of her aliases which is the last thing that then leads to her taking a leave of absence to figure out who she is and who she wants to be. That scene in her apartment with the bomb is also just an excellent moment for the team as a family. The care with which everyone interacts with Sophie, Parker's instant pudding hack, Eliot's instructions on how defuse this situation, Sophie's immediate shift into protector mode once it becomes clear that the only real solution is to run and telling everyone to leave immediately, Nate staying behind and even when Sophie tells him to leave, waiting for her by the apartment door -- they care for each other so much.
I also really love the con-off with Starke's crew. It is so nice to see how similar yet different he and Nate are, and the same goes for the other crew members. I adore their individual confrontations a lot. Eliot's non-fight fight with Mikel Dayan, Parker's thief-off with Apollo, Hardison and Chaos' baby monitor fight. It just really highlights who our beloved characters are and what makes them them, now that we see them, metaphorically, in front of their mirror.
And then, of course, the actual heist is also just amazing. I adore that Starke chooses Nate as his alias to gain access, it is such a great move. Parker and Apollo talking in the ventilation shaft about birds is also just so lovely. And as an admirer of Eliot's arms, I am also very fond of his fight with Mikel. Good choices have been made, I appreciate all of them. The reveal at the end is also absolutely amazing. To beat them they had to save them? Brilliant.
Lastly, of course, Sophie's goodbye at the graveyard with Nate. What a spectacular moment. Also just, the visuals are so beautiful. I love the lighting here. And of course the return of Andy Lange's song, which is just perfect. I am so happy that this is the journey they decided to give Sophie when it became clear that Gina would not be able to be in the full seasons due to her pregnancy. They accommodated her so beautifully and gave Sophie such an amazing moment of character growth. This is why I love this show and the people who made it so much. All my love, to all of them.
208: THE ICE MAN JOB
D: JEREMIAH CHECHIK. W: CHRISTINE BOYLAN. Original Air Date: 02 September 2009.
We love The Ice Man Job! Another fantastic episode by one Christine Boylan who we love in this house. Our very first episode without Sophie being there, and it's a great one. I absolutely adore how they worked in moments with our favourite grifter in a way that so wonderfully accommodates Gina's pregnancy.
I absolutely adore the moments where all of them eventually end up calling Sophie. Parker, hiding underneath the bar after Nate tells her she'll be the grifter in this one, calling her mom Sophie in a panic without wanting the others to know, but still needing her advice and missing her so much. Then Eliot, calling to complain to his mom Sophie about Hardison going overboard again with the grift, needing the knowledge that his concerns are being heard and aren't unfounded, needs to hear the other protector of the family acknowledge his rightful fear that things will go sideways. And of course also Hardison, calling mom Sophie so she can pick him up from the party help him out of the mess he's made, hoping against all hope that she'll be able to help without having to involve Nate. The others both had the luxury to ask Sophie not to tell Nate -- Hardison had no other choice but to let her call it in. Lastly, Nate too, at the end, calling his wife Sophie. And honestly, I love that Sophie drops her phone into her drink after the call, because Nate is the only one not giving her what she wants to hear. The kids, all of them, called with an "I need you" and that is the one thing Nate doesn't give her.
There are many other things in this episode that I love very much. The opening briefing, Parker feeling alone on the big empty couch, trying to sit next to Eliot, but he makes her move. Nate's big DadTM moment of "Eliot, can you please sit next to Parker" and Eliot's very long-suffering oldest child answer "No! I'm sitting here now."
Then of course Eliot and Hardison's two moments -- Eliot telling Hardison "I ain't bailing your ass out" and then when he eventually does anyway, Hardison's smug joy, forcing Eliot to sort-of-hug him back at McRory's. Eliot's unsuccessful attempt to make him helping Hardison a decision forced onto him by Parker, and Parker refusing to accept the "blame" immediately. Their whole dynamic this episode is just so good. Neither Eliot nor Parker being happy with Hardison in this role (Parker's refusal to ride with him in the Ferrari), Eliot proudly watching Parker do her thing over the security camera ("Stuck it!").
Lots of love also to Pasha Lychnikoff as our main Russian goon, who is just fantastic here, our much beloved Lt. Patrick Bonanno, and also Nadine Haders for so many amazing looks, especially on Eliot.
209: THE LOST HEIR JOB
D: PETER WINTHER. W: CHRIS DOWNEY. Original Air Date: 09 September 2009.
Court-room episode, which means we have our friend Chris Downey on the keys here, and he gave us an absolutely excellent introduction for Tara Cole played by the lovely Jeri Ryan. Honestly, the more often I watch this episode, the better it gets. Tara is just so good.
Highlights of this episode include: Sophie's immediate "who died?!" when Nate shows up at her apartment in London, Hardison playing "Where is Waldo Ford," Hardison and Eliot in prison, the first appearance of Nate's lawyer alias Jimmy Papadokalis who wears brilliantly loud and obnoxious suits in outrageous colour-combinations, Hardison stalling Blanchard at court security with his keys, Nate's reveal of Ruth as Kimball's daughter (I am fascinated that he completely drops the character here -- he is just Nate now), and of course, the reveal of Tara at the end.
Honestly, this is such a magnificent episode to introduce Tara's character. We have just watched the team scramble and fuck up without Sophie, and then their next job gets more complicated because of this random lawyer who shows up. And she's so righteous and law-abiding and absolutely not someone they should be taking with them on their job. And Tara plays it perfectly. Her honest try at getting Orson to talk to them, her confusion about her "dogs", her excited smile when she gets to con Blanchard and be a bit dishonest -- it is so good. And then we get that complete 180° when the team finds her in Nate's apartment. Not just visually, but the personality. Her voice drops a bit too. Jeri fucking rocked this introduction. The reveal is so damn good.
210: THE RUNWAY JOB
D: MARC ROSKIN. W: ALBERT KIM. Original Air Date: 13 January 2010.
I have zero interest in fashion but I honest to God love every single one of these characters at fashion week. Fashion!Eliot is absolutely fantastical and I love him. Julien, my beloved. Fashion!Parker is very cute with her braid and even before she gets the model makeover she outshines every single other person at the event. Fashion!Hardison is surprisingly understated but I dig it. Tara as Caprina is also just excellent. And I absolutely, un-ironically adore Fashion!Nate. Jacques is such a character. Nate exchanged the usual "obnoxious and greasy" with "gay," slapped some would-be-French that sounds like German on top of it, and called it a character. And I love it.
I also very much love the three video calls with Sophie in this episode. The kids calling in the beginning, complaining about Tara. I absolutely adore both the "she's hot" moment and Eliot's "...and all the way to Europe?" when Sophie says Nate lets what is good for him walk out the door. Parker's little "I just miss you" before they hang up has me all the way up in my emotions every damn time. Tara calling Sophie to complain about Nate is also just excellent. The whole bit with Nate's "I'm sexy because I'm broken" thing is just *chef's kiss*. And of course Nate's call at the end. I love that Sophie hangs up on him, it is so fair, it is absolutely justified. And I think he knows that too.
So many great other moments too -- Hardison's Steven Seagal comment about Eliot's clothes, Nate's "Julien, sweetheart" and Eliot's little clap before taking the money, Nate and Parker at the mark's house, Eliot and Tara vs the Triads, Eliot and Parker at fashion week together ("It's a fashion show, not Thieves'R'Us"), and of course Tara's "For what it's worth, Sophie was right. You guys are the best I've ever seen ... But no one in the world, is as good as you think you are."
211: THE BOTTLE JOB
D: JONATHAN FRAKES. W: CHRISTINE BOYLAN. Original Air Date: 20 January 2010.
This episode has got to be one of my favourites, if I were forced to chose some. I love a bottle episode, and this one is just magnificent. Excellent client, great mark, fantastic additional characters, wonderful episode for the team. All around just, so good. Not surprising if Frakes and Boylan are at the wheel together, of course.
The addition of Cora is so lovely. I would have loved to see more of her, to be honest. She is such a great character. I love what her presence does to who we see Nate as. I adore when characters get to show new sides of themselves, it's so nice. Also, Nate's comment to Eliot about him not wanting Eliot to like Cora because she's like his niece? Most excellent.
I adore our three police officers too. Mickey, Danny and Johnny are such great additions. I really liked them. How they just went with whatever Nate was planning and in the end decided to just pretend none of this ever happened, it's just so good.
Doyle and the Liams as our villains of the week are also just fantastic. Also I just love Irish accents, it sounds so good. I love to hear it.
Other highlights of this episode include: Tara's "I'm Trish and I'm lonely", the kids going for their individual emergency funds stashed in Nate's place (they are all so fantastically in character, I love it), Nate using his dad's name as his alias, everyone stopping to see if Nate is going to succumb to the booze again, Hardison's excitement about pulling off the wire in under 2h, Hardison faking the weather, Eliot and Parker on safe duty. Also, rewatching this episode, I am absolutely 100% convinced that what Eliot is doing to distract the Liams from Tara conning Doyle, absolutely categorises as flirting. The way he throws that dart at the board and then buys them beer? Mr Spencer, sir, you are flirting with these guys.
212: THE ZANZIBAR MARKETPLACE JOB
D: JEREMIAH CHECHIK. W: MELISSA GLENN & JESSICA RIEDER (GRASL). Original Air Date: 27 January 2010.
The wonder twins with yet another magnificent episode. No surprises here. We have not just the return of Maggie but also of Sterling! We love this!!! (Seriously, I want both of them back in the reboot. I don't care that they're most closely tied to Nate. Bring them back.)
This episode has so many absolutely excellent moments as well. I love the opening sequence in the bar, with them going over possible next clients together, Nate kicking Eliot for flirting with the bartender, and then of course also Sterling walking in. The interaction Nate and Eliot have here is just fantastic.
Sterling: *walks in* Nate: Eliot, I'm gonna ask you not do do anything violent. Eliot: Wha-what are you talking about? I only use violence as an appropriate response. Sterling: Hello, Nate. Eliot: *responds appropriately*
And to think that Sterling only gets beat up here because Mark Sheppard's son was visiting the set that day and wanted to see his dad get beat up by Eliot. We stan one Sheppard Jr.
I very much love the scene where Nate and Sterling go over what they have on Lundy, and then Parker interrupting them out of nowhere, just sitting there on the counter, like she's been there forever (which she probably has). Also just, fantastic clothes on Parker, thank you Nadine. Maggie showing up here is of course also brilliant and I am very fond of Parker making Maggie a fugitive bag. It is so completely adorable. I love my girl so much.
Another favourite moment is, of course, Tara and Eliot getting Chernov to tell them where the sale of the Fabergé egg will take place. Tara not saying a damn thing, Eliot grumpily doing what Tara tells him to ("Do that thing with your eyes that scares people" / "What -- I don't know what you're talking about"), Chernov's complete unease about this whole entire situation, and then of course Tara and Eliot's other interaction:
Tara: What we imagine is always so much better than reality. Eliot, with the tiniest voice possible: Like love? Tara: *just stares at him, confused*
Just, *chef's kiss* this scene.
The scenes in the embassy are also just excellent. Tara and Nate pretending to be a couple, Nate's inability to deal with the idea of Maggie and Alexander, Maggie and Tara hysterically giggling while talking about Nate, Sterling pretending to be drunk (and incredibly gay) to get Parker access to the egg room -- brilliance, all the way through.
I adore Eliot taking charge of the situation once it becomes clear that Maggie and Nate have been taken hostage. Parker doing her magic and switching the bomb with the empty briefcase in the elevators is beautiful. Maggie kissing Nate instead of Lundy in what could have been their final moment and regretting it instantly the moment Parker shows up is excellent.
And the final scene back at McRory's is also just wonderful. The kids watching the news about Sterling with Tara ("I hate this guy" / "Now, you're part of the team"), and Nate talking with Maggie. I adore Maggie in this scene so much. Her and Nate's relationship is so lovely. We know Sophie understands how Nate ticks, but Maggie knows him so well too, still.
213: THE FUTURE JOB
D: MARC ROSKIN. W: CHRIS DOWNEY & AMY BERG. Original Air Date: 03 February 2010.
This episode is so good for so many reasons. First off, I adore Luke Perry (I'm still sad about him) even if he plays creeps like Rand in most everything I've seen him in. He was just so good. Second, Medium Tara is probably my favourite role of hers. It's a lot softer than many of the other characters she's done, and I love it. Also the costuming is just excellent.
But I want to talk about Parker most of all. The scene where Rand cold reads her is so well done. Riesgraf knocked it out of the park here. Also, I love how Nate, as soon as Rand starts approaching and doing his act, barely ever takes his eyes off her. He occasionally glances at Rand, but his attention is on Parker at all times. And it just makes me feel things.
The team coming back to Nate's to find Parker sitting on the floor in front of the couch, crying also makes me super emo. They are all so very careful with her here. Even Tara, who hasn't been with them for that long. I quite like how Eliot and Hardison choose to sit a bit away, giving her space, and Nate carefully approaches and sits closest to her. They are all so good with her here, I love them all so much. And I absolutely adore this part of the conversation:
Tara: So what do we do now? Parker: Cut off his arms. And his head. Yeah. I wanna kill him. Can we make that happen? Eliot: Yeah, I can...I mean, I could...
Also earlier, after Tara acknowledges that Rand is good at what he does, Hardison says "He should be shot." I adore how both our boys would not hesitate to end this man for hurting Parker like this. That's their girl and he went too damn far. And even though Nate suggests a way of retaliation that is less final, he isn't above hurting the man either. Because that's his girl, too:
Hardison: Nate had me rig the table with a mild electrical current. Eliot: You electrocuted him? Nate, smugly: Yes, I did. It helped sell the bit. Parker: I approve. Nate: Thanks, Parker. Eliot: No, her agreeing with you is not a good thing. Nate, whispering to Parker: Thanks.
And add to that the absolute joy each and every one of them have when fucking with Rand to fulfil Tara's predictions? *Chef's kiss.* Absolutely beautiful.
There is so much more absolutely fantastic content in this episode, but I just wanna point out the ending where they meet with the client again. Nate is so good with them here. The way he talks to Jodie about her baby and how she will see her late husband in the child, makes me cry every damn time. Just like Tara says, "Yeah, now I see why you do it," this is why this show is so damn good. It's because of this exactly. Because for one shining moment within so much suck and tragedy, there is goodness and a wrong that has been made right. They help people and it isn't just fleeting momentary relief. They change people's lives for the better. I love this fucking show so much.
214: THE THREE STRIKES JOB
D: DEAN DEVLIN. W: JOHN ROGERS. Original Air Date: 10 February 2010.
First half of the second finale! Patrick Bonanno my beloved! I get so sad every time he gets shot here. My man deserves better than this. I love Bonanno so damn much, man. I absolutely adore that Nate goes to see his family at the hospital. Like, this is a cop. The very opposite side of the law Nate and his people operate on. But he goes to see him anyway, because this is their cop. And I love that Bonanno's wife recognises Nate's name. "He wanted to buy you a drink. And then arrest you." That's just so good.
I also absolutely love Richard Kind as Brad Culpepper, the corrupt mayor. I would love to see him back in the reboot, but I doubt there'd be any reasonable explanation why on earth they'd have to see this particular mayor again. I just think Richard Kind is an absolutely fantastic actor.
Anyway, favourite moments. Hardison and Eliot at Bonanno's house is beautiful. I am so fond of how Hardison deals with law enforcement while impersonating law enforcement. He tears them down and builds them back up again, every single time. And I adore how Eliot just smiles at his antics. He crawls around on that carpet with the young cop and Eliot just stands there and smiles. I love them, guys. I really do. Parker pretending to be Brad's pregnant lover with Tara's help is also just most excellent.
And of course: Roy Chappell. Baseball Eliot, my most beloved. There is so much to love about this whole concept. Eliot's reluctance at first because he doesn't like baseball. The discovery that baseball is actually something cool and something he is good at. His absolute childlike joy at the energy drink commercial Hardison made him. His damn hair during the actual game. The sandwich! The enthusiasm about the sandwich. Hardison admitting that the sandwich thing is cool.
I also absolutely love Hardison and Parker as Beavers Fans. The badly photoshopped picture of Dean Devlin and John Rogers as the radio hosts makes me smile so much. So does hearing their voices on the show. Both Hardison and Parker's phone calls to them are also brilliant. Parker speaking Spanish? Marvelous. The two of them demonstrating the Beavers leaving? *Chef's kiss.*
The final showdown with Brad and then the FBI is also just most excellent. Nate going ballistic on Brad because of Bonanno. Hardison and Lucille. Parker giving Lucille a little kiss before they send her to explode as a distraction. Hardison quoting Spock to say goodbye to Lucille. Hardison being pissed at Nate about Lucille. And of course: Jim Sterling, Interpol. The bastard. I love him.
215: THE MALTESE FALCON JOB
D: DEAN DEVLIN. W: JOHN ROGERS. Original Air Date: 17 February 2010.
Second half of second finale! And it's a good one, too. This show has absolutely brilliant finales, lemme tell you.
What do we love about this episode? MUCH. Tara's naked bit is excellent. Eliot and Parker sharing a look after watching Tara's naked bit is even better. Parker turning on the porn channels on the hotel tv is hilarious. Eliot talking to the receptionist about the gym is hysterical ("Ah, the fitness spa. Isn't the Zen Steam Garden divine?" / "Yeah....delicious").
Nate on stairs vs Sterling in elevator is probably the pettiest thing I have ever watched on television and it is absolutely amazing. I don't think anything can ever top this as pettiest moment. It is just so good.
Sterling, of course, is always great fun. I love that he has his own little villain theme that announces him before he even enters the screen. Love a good villain theme. And I adore his moment with FBI Bob outside Brad's hotel room.
Sterling: Name's Bob, right? Bob: Yes, sir. Sterling: You've been here the whole time, Bob? Bob: Yes, sir. Sterling: And nobody's gone in or out, Bob? Bob: No, sir. Sterling: Then would you mind explaining, where the HELL THE MAYOR IS?!
Absolutely perfect.
Nate going back to his place always has me all up in my emotions. Also, I think Sterling here absolutely believes that what he is offering Nate, is good for him. That he can save him from himself or something. They were something like friends at some point, after all. And of course, Nate calling Sophie. She is, of course, unbeknownst to him, already on the way to save his ass. But he calls her and finally tells her exactly what she wanted to hear at the end of The Ice Man Job: "I need you. Not the team, me." Sir. I am emo about you.
And then of course the final con and the reveal of Sophie's return. I absolutely love that Parker's first reaction to Tara possibly betraying them was to try and throw her off the roof. That's my girl (I love Tara, but that was fair). Also just, if you pay attention on the boat scenes, you can see Sophie from as early as Kadjic hearing Nate's offer and then leading Nate and Eliot below deck. If you can pick out her hair and know the colour of her coat from the scene in the helicopter, you know that she is there. And then, below deck, you can see her so many times -- at one point essentially back to back with Nate -- before any of the characters know she's there. And can I just say, I absolutely love Nate's completely shocked face when he hears her voice. Those comedically big eyes are just excellent.
Everyone seeing Sophie again is done so well. Hardison and Eliot's confused "Sophie?" when she walks past. Eliot winking at Sophie after they free Nate. Parker hugging her immediately once her and Tara arrive on the ship. Hardison putting his hand on the small of her back as he passes by her to go down the stairs. I just love them all so much.
And lastly of course, the reveal of the plan, Nate cuffing himself to the railing and making Sterling leave his family alone. What Nate says to them always makes me so emo too: "You guys are the most honourable people I have ever met in my life. You have become my family, my only family. And I will never forget that." John Rogers, sir, we need to have some words once I get this lake out of my eyes. And I obviously can't not mention the kiss. Finally, finally Nate gets his shit together. And she slaps him and it is perfect. And then they leave and he sits down and bleeds and Sterling, for a moment, is genuinely concerned about Nate as a person and not merely about Nate as his only way to nail Kadjic.
Bob: Who the hell is this guy? Sterling: I have no idea. Nate: My name is Nate Ford. And I'm a thief.
Yes. Yes you are, you magnificent bastard.

notable moments from The Ice Man Job
leverage 2.08
Hardison: Jim Kerrity III. He took over Kerrity Diamonds four years ago after his old man retired, and in that small amount of time, he drove the business straight into the ground by living way beyond his means.
(Parker is restless on the couch and Eliot pushes her away from him)
Hardison: I'm talkin' drugs, booze, women.
(Parker continues to moves restlessly)
Hardison: According to his credit card statements... What? Why? What are you doin'?
Parker: What?
Eliot: What?
Parker: What?
Eliot: It's distracting.
Parker: The couch is feeling a little empty.
Nate: Eliot, will you please sit next to Parker.
Eliot: No, I'm sittin' here now.
Nate: Guys, guys. We all miss Sophie. I, we just have to adapt.
Hardison: I got this. Move, go.
(Hardison sits next to Parker on the couch)
Hardison: You happy? (picks up keyboard)
parker can’t get comfortable because she misses sophie. she’s never had friends/close family before (minus archie but that’s irrelevant) and sophie was one of her people and she doesn’t know how to cope properly when she loses them
the ot3 sitting together as they should
- - - - -
Nate: You know what, the thing about this that people don't understand is insurance fraud, it's a lot of red tape, and with a big claim like this, it'll take a year before Kerrity sees any money, and the bill collectors are not gonna wait around. He's gotta fence the diamonds.
Parker: He can't. (grabs the remote and changes the monitors)
Eliot: What do you mean?
Parker: His diamonds are GIA certified, VVS clarity, all about two carats.
Hardison: That's my clicker.
Parker: Who stole the Polar Star? (raises her hand) Who stole the Gem of Gibraltar? Damiani raid? Me. I know diamonds, and our bad guy can't fence those diamonds because stones that size have an ID number laser-inscribed on them.
Eliot: So it’s like a stolen car. Gotta clean the VIN before you can sell 'em.
Nate: How do you get that ID number off?
Parker: With a special laser. But only three guys can do it. Antwerp, Dubai, Tel Aviv
SHE KNOWS HER DIAMONDS
- - - - -
[Flashback]
Parker: Hi.
Man: Hello.
Parker: Buy me a drink?
Man: You got it. (gestures to the bartender and puts his hand on Parker’s knee) So?
(Parker grabs his fingers and breaks them, then picks up a briefcase and hits him in the chest before heading away, almost falling)
we LOVE to see parker not tolerating slimy men and hurting them when they touch her
- - - - -
Parker: Yeah, I'll be fine.
(later Parker is crouched behind the counter talking on the phone)
Parker: I will not be fine. I stabbed that guy with a fork.
[London Bar]
Sophie: Parker, Parker, relax. It's fine. Listen. Go to Nate's cupboard and you're gonna find a sexy little mini-dress and my emergency Jimmy Choos.
[Leverage HQ]
Parker: Jimmy who? You have a body in Nate's closet? (she looks excited)
[London Bar]
Sophie: Shoes, Parker. Didn't I teach you any...? All right, listen. This is the important bit. Do you still have the Rosalind Diamond you stole in Perth?
[Leverage HQ]
Parker: Yes.
[London Bar]
Sophie: Wear it. The diamond will speak for you. You won't have to say a word. This is the key to the grift. You just trust the character. Say nothing, trust the diamond.
[Leverage HQ]
Parker: I can do that. Don't tell Nate I called.
[London Bar]
Sophie: I won't.
- - - - -
bruh parker is SO HOT in that blue dress with her diamond that she stole I’m-
- - - - -
Hardison: All right. Lay the arms down, brother. He's cool.
(Eliot lets Kerrity go)
Hardison: You have to excuse my bodyguard. He's touchy. It's 'cause he's a mute.
eliot looks ready to beat hardison’s ass for a hot second
also I LOVE eliot’s little braids in his hair
- - - - -
Kerrity: What kind of thief calls himself a thief?
Hardison: An uncatchable one with a brilliant reputation. You've seen my work in Perth. The Polar Star? Nicked it. The Gem of Gibraltar? Nicked it. The Damiani raid? Distraction while I nicked everything in the vault next door. Big stones, trust me.
(behind Hardison, Parker is pacing angrily)
eliot gives her a Look™ when she looks like she’s going to interrupt hardison because he KNOWS how pissed she is
- - - - -
(Parker is at the kitchen bar, locks and picks spread out in front of her. She’s focused on picking a lock)
Eliot: Ice Man?
Hardison: Hey, I put a lot of work into that character. No, no. No, I bought new clothes, ugly as hell, too.
Eliot: This always happens when you go on the grift, Hardison.
Hardison (*): I put stories on the website.
Eliot: You go too big.
Parker: Sophie told me to say as little as possible, let the character do the work.
Nate: When did, uh, Sophie say that?
Parker: A long time ago. Maybe last Christmas. I don't even think it was Sophie.
Nate: I'm gonna go put more pressure on Kerrity. I want you guys to be on the clear-out. Ice Man, play it cool. That's just an awful, awful name.
Hardison: Genius.
Eliot: See?
Hardison: It's genius.
Eliot: When you get in too deep on this, I ain't bailin' your ass out.
Hardison: I don't need you to bail me out. I'm the Ice Man.
Eliot: Not. Gonna. Help
parker picks locks when she’s upset/annoyed/distressed and I love that continuity for her in the show
also eliot you buffoon you’ll always help hardison you’re fooling literally no one
- - - - -
Guard: There's a Mr. Sterling here from the insurance company.
LMFAO NATE YOU DIDNT
- - - - -
Eliot (on phone): I know. He's driving me crazy. How, huh? I'm backup, they can't rely on me. All right, all right. Hey, thanks. Don't tell Nate I called.
Parker: Who was that?
Eliot: Cable company
eliot is more upset than anything because he’s been put into a position where he can’t protect them as well. THATS what he’s mad enough about to call sophie about it.
also this picture meme describes the situation perfectly
- - - - -
Eliot: Whoa! Whoa! What are you people doin' here?!
Woman: We work here. Who are you?
Parker: We're with OSHA.
Eliot: We issued a class-one evacuation notice for this facility effective 24 hours ago.
Parker: This place is on lockdown for chemical exposure.
Eliot: Nobody read the memo?
Parker: Did nobody read the memo?! You, cough!
(Parker holds a pad to the woman’s mouth and she coughs into it)
Woman: What chemical?
Eliot: Given the set-up for this place, it could be a matrix of solid phase sulfates, uh, nitrates.
(Parker shows a blackened pad to the woman)
Woman: That's inside me?
Eliot: Honey, your lungs are a parking lot, sweetheart.
Parker: And in that parking lot, the diagonal lines are painted with poison.
(parker turns and looks at eliot, who shakes his head slightly in exasperation)
Eliot: People, move towards the door, all right?
Parker: Do not inhale unless you are 50 feet from the entrance. Yeah.
(all the workers leave the room)
eliot just sighing at parker’s antics is beautiful
- - - - -
Nate: All right, nice work, guys. Tomorrow, when he shows up with the diamonds, the state police will be there.
[Exterior Street]
Eliot: Why, so they can arrest Hardison's ego?
Hardison: Be cool, baby. Ice cool. Hey, who wants to go for a spin?
Eliot: Can't believe you rented a Ferrari.
Hardison: Rented?
Parker: I'll get a ride home with Eliot.
(Eliot and Parker move away and get into his truck before driving away)
Hardison: Y'all are just jealous. Oh, they just jealous, baby. Don't worry about that. Look at ya. Lookin' better than green-
okay so now we know hardison in canon owns a red ferrari convertible
- - - - -
Hardison (makes call): Yeah, yeah. Sheila, not makin' it in tonight. Yeah, work thing. Bugger all.
[Interior Van]
Sophie: Hardison? Are you calling me in character?
[Russian’s Office]
Hardison: I told you, butternut. It's work. I can't get out of it.
[Interior Van]
Sophie: What accent is that? Ooh. Ooh, you've been nabbed.
[Russian’s Office]
Hardison: Afraid so.
Sophie: Is it the mark?
Hardison: No. No, muffin, no.
[Interior Van]
Sophie: It's the goons. You oversold the part.
[Russian’s Office]
Sophie: You fell into the trap of the overzealous henchman.
[Interior Van]
Sophie: Don't worry. It happens all the time. As long as they're not Russians.
[Russian’s Office]
Hardison: It's gonna be a bit of a problem.
Sophie: It's the Russians? I'm gonna have to phone Nate.
Hardison: Uh, leave it off, crumpet.
[Interior Van]
Sophie: No, no, no, listen. Hardison—
[Russian’s Office]
Sophie: --you cannot talk your way out of Russians.
[Interior Van]
Sophie: I mean, you can stall them maybe for a bit, but whatever you do--
[Russian’s Office]
Sophie: --do not tell them you can do anything else. (hangs up)
Hardison: Smooches. Love her. (puts down phone)
- - - - -
Eliot: I had courtside seats, man. Tell Hardison if he makes it out alive, I'm gonna snap him in half.
Nate: Uh, Eliot says hi.
again, eliot, you ain’t foolin no one
- - - - -
parker sitting on the dining table,,, I love it when she perches herself on things
- - - - -
eliot is wearing a checkered/white plaid shirt with flowers on it it’s adorable
- - - - -
(Kerrity is placing a necklace on a woman’s neck)
Kerrity: Wow, that looks beautiful. Three hundred thousand dollars on your neck. (Nate knocks on the door) Oh. Amy, I'm gonna meet you at the bar, sweetie, OK? You'll earn that later. Let's go. Excellent. This had better be important.
y’all nasty
- - - - -
we love to see eliot knocking people out with one punch
+ him apologizing to the unconscious guard after
- - - - -
(Parker lays a magnetic strip over the two halves of the sensor)
Parker: This will hold them together.
Eliot (hands her a screwdriver): Electric's faster.
Parker: Vibrations will set off the seismic sensor.
(Eliot leaves the vault as Parker moves the sensors to one side and replaces them with false sensors. She then works on getting the combination)
- - - - -
Eliot buzzes Hardison in. Hardison fakes punching Eliot, who goes down. Hardison continues to fake beating Eliot up)
Eliot: Next time, I'm playing the thief.
Hardison: I'd like to hear you do an accent.
Eliot: I'd like to hear you do an accent.
Hardison: I went to Second City in Chicago.
(outside the Russian and his men watch Hardison beating Eliot)
[Vault]
(Parker writes the combination to the vault on the handle in what looks like invisible ink)
Eliot: When’d you find time between that and karate at the Y?
Hardison: You know what? Just shut up.
Parker: Shut up, guys
chaotic ot3
- - - - -
(Parker hangs on to the vault door as it swings shut, then jumps to an overhead pipe)
[Kerrity Diamonds]
(Eliot watches Parker move across the vault in a security monitor)
Eliot: Stuck it
this is cute okay, his proud lil face
- - - - -
hardison also carries a black light on his keychain ???
- - - - -
I’m sorry, I’m but a simple wlw and parker hanging upside down doing her thing is beautiful
- - - - -
[Flashback]
Hardison: Shh! Do you hear that? Diamond Jim's comin' down here. You go and stop him while I nick the diamonds.
(the Russian and his men turn to the vault doorway. Hardison backs away. Parker steps out of one of the larger boxes and pulls Hardison into it)
Hardison: Thank you, and I mean thank you, but how are we gettin' out of here?
(Parker pulls out some sort of electronic device)
Hardison: What is that?
Parker: Shh! Pull your arms in.
(the device beeps as Parker enters a code. After a moment, an explosion collapses the floor beneath them and they fall into the tunnels below where Eliot helps Parker to her feet)
Eliot: Det cord.
eliot helping them off the ground? domestic ot3
- - - - -
Eliot: What are you smilin' at? You still screwed it up.
Hardison: I'm smiling 'cause you said if I got in trouble, you wouldn't help me.
Eliot: Parker made me.
Parker: No, I didn't.
Hardison: Come on, man. Let's hug it out.
Eliot: I'm not huggin' it out, Ice Man.
Hardison: Just hug it... Just a little man love.
(Hardison puts his arm around Eliot’s shoulders. Eliot tries to push him away)
Eliot: I'm not huggin' it out with you. No...
Hardison (stands to move closer to Eliot): It’s not—
Eliot: Sit down in your stool.
Hardison: Don't make this awkward.
Eliot: What are you doin', man?
Hardison: This is uncomfortable now.
(Hardison lays his head on Eliot’s shoulder as Eliot continues to try and push him away)
Hardison: Get in the pits.
Eliot: I'm gonna break your frickin’ arm.
parker shuts eliot down immediately because eliot needs to step up for his actions
ALSO, ELIOT LEANED HIS FOREHEAD IN FOR ONE (1) SECOND. HE TOTALLY SECRETLY LOVED IT
also this meme sums up the entire episode
* sorry the script said something wrong and I don’t feel like going back to check lol

the beginning scene in frozen when anna and elsa play in the castle with elsa's magical powers except it's sophie and amy, and instead of hurting her sister with ice powers, sophie accidently inflicts on amy (maybe when the playing somehow turns into fighting) (aka the memory sophie gets back in legacy)
oo yes lets bring back the frozen comparisons with Sophie and Amy!! I don't remember everything that was said in the two links on my masterpost, but!! I remember loving looking at the characters side by side!! (also I think I got a little off track so feel free to send another ask redirecting me as needed!!)
This scene specifically is really interesting because we can focus more on their relationship in one instance of it instead of trying to average out who they are as a whole. the two scenes are actually like mirrors of each other, the same thing appearing to happen just backwards
In the memory Sophie gets back from Forkle, she remembers playing with her sister and then getting really upset over something and needing to get that pressure out of her head. Shoving it out, she inflicts on her sister, something neither of them remember for years. Her powers are a well kept secret as she tries to fit in with her family. In the beginning scene of Frozen, Anna and Elsa are playing together when Anna gets overly excited and starts moving faster than Elsa can keep up until she accidentally hits her with her powers in an attempt to save her, injuring her though Anna doesn't remember it.
Sophie's powers were hidden, Elsa's were known. Both were playing together, having fun, but ultimately the reason the injuries happened were opposite each other. Elsa accidentally hit Anna's head in an attempt to save her from a fall, trying to protect her. Sophie accidentally inflicted on Amy because the pressure in her head was too much for her, so in an attempt to protect herself she shoved it out, not knowing what she was capable of or what she was doing.
I do like how you've made the connection to Sophie's sandcastles and growing up near the beach with Elsa's ice and growing up playing with that with her sister. it's a connection the sisters have with each other that's mirrored in the characters, and each one is like a twisted turn of events where it could happen to each other. Elsa could've accidentally frozen Anna out of anger if they started fighting, and Sophie could've been in a situation where she thought Amy was in danger and hurt her inflicting on the others in the area.
the two share a fear and lack of understanding with their power, completely alone with it and not knowing how to control them, something these beginning scenes start to introduce. And then there are their sisters, completely oblivious to what happens to them and why their older sisters are closed off the way they are, why they're so different. Though Sophie's world is filled with a lot more light and warmth, and Elsa's with chills, the way they interact with that world is similar. They are unprecedented, misunderstood, targeted. They have entire futures with these powers, and hurting their sisters is the beginning to a lot of it for the both of them. Sophie does have the 5yo hitting her head and boom telepathy thing, but her inflicting manifesting is still significant enough to make the comparison.
I don't really know where I'm going with this so I'll stop there. There are a lot of similarities between Sophie + Amy's relationship and Elsa + Anna's relationship, especially with the manifestation of their powers. I haven't seen the movies in a while so I'm sure there's more I'm missing about the beginning scene, but it's really cool to look at so thank you for bringing it up!!
#the four of them have similarities later in life as well#like how in the second movie elsa is in a different world. a magic one. but still talks to her sister and they still interact.#and amy is still in the human world like amy is#the second one is supposed to say anna#there's one of them for each side of the realms. magic and human for elsa and anna#elven and human for sophie and amy#it's fascinating!!#kotlc#keeper of the lost cities#quil's queries#nonsie#sophie foster#amy foster#kotlc character analysis

Marvel OCs ( wip )
Name: Nico Ikol
Story:
Faceclaim: Logan Lerman
Summary: Let’s get one thing straight, Nico was absolutely not some kinda norse god Okay? Nor the reborn version of one or whatever. They were just a normal kid.
Okay so they sorta had a knack for getting people to agree with them and fine they’ve been having dreams about a blonde man with way too long hair and lightning and then there’s the whole...powers thing.
But I mean, aside from that.
And oh yeah the guy from their dreams is at the door claiming he’s their lost long brother.
Name: Ruth Parker
Story: tbd
Faceclaim: Rowan Blachard
Summary: Ruthie Paker has been dubbed her brother’s shadow from the first time they arrived at their aunt and uncle’s doorstep. The siblings have been together through everything; their parent’s deaths, their adoption by their aunt and uncle, their uncle’s death. It was the Parker kids against the world.
So when Peter starts acting weird Ruthie’s the first ( and it starts to dawn on her, the only one) who notices.
Name: Astrid Odinsdotter
Story: tbd
Faceclaim: Dove Cameron
Summary: Loki wasn’t the only child stolen from a battlefield. Nor was he the only one Odin and Freya raised as their own. Astrid was raised along side her brother as the princess of Asgard unware of her parentage; but her world gets thrown into utter chaos first when her brother is exiled to Migard and then when her true parentage is brought to light.
Name: Grace Wilder.
Story: tbd
Faceclaim: Kat Graham
Summary: tbd ( takes place in Runways)
Name: Isabelle Nyx
Story: tbd
Faceclaim: Holland Roden
Summary: Heir apparent to Nyx Incorporated, Isabelle like all of the PRIDE kids seems to have it made. Never mind the fact that her best friend killed herself or that her friend group fell apart soon after.
On the anniversary of Amy’s death, Isa tries reaching out to her former friends but out of everyone, Alex Wilder seems to be the only one interested in mourning Amy with her. She’s surprised when the others join them, and even more surprised by what they find out.
“Fuck our parents. How about we actually run away.”
Name: Michelle -Miche- De Santos
Story: tbd
Faceclaim: Siena Agudong.
Summary: Miche knows the church of the Gibberin is evil, knows that they paste on happy grins to prey on runaway kids. She knows because they killed her sister. The problem is no one believes her. It doesn’t matter though, she’s not gonna stop until she figures out how to make people see the rich assholes for the evil they are.
Except that she wasn’t planning to find the very children of the people she’s sworn vengeance against.
And apparently, they ran away.
Name: Lucille Harkness.
Story: tbd.
Faceclaim: Amber Benson
Summary: Lucille knows about Agatha Harkness, how could she not. She grew up on stories of the witch that betrayed her coven ( Lucille’s coven) and committed the most atrocious of acts against their own during the time of the Salem trials. Agatha’s name was whispered in Lucille’s family, a warning of how reaching for forbidden knowledge could corrupt; a horror story of the witch who slaughtered her own kind without a care in the world.
Still she never expected to find any trace of her in her lifetime, never expected Agatha to be more than whispers and campfire side stories, much less find out she’s in a bubble of Chaos Magic in a small town in New Jersey.
Name: Nancy Keener
Story: The Mechanic
Faceclaim: Sadie Sink
Summary: tbd
Name: Tracey Stein.
Story: tbd
Faceclaim: Sophie Lillis
Summary: Tracey has known her dad was evil since he beat her brother over a B-. She’s also known better than to think anyone would believe her. Except for of course her brother. They both knew it, they covered for each other, protected each other and that was enough. Even when their social group expanded to include the other PRIDE kids, it had always been her and Chase against the world. When Nico’s sister died and their little friend group falls apart it’s still the two of them against the world.
And then on the anniversary of Amy’s death the siblings find themselves at Alex Wilder’s house of all places. Turns out her dad’s not the only evil asshole in their parent’s little social club. Turns out all their parents are.
Turns out they have to runaway.
Name: Gwendolyn -Wendy- Maximoff
Story: tbd.
Faceclaim: Millie Bobby Brown
Summary: Finding out her brother was a mutant and that the men who came to look for him when she was five years old, finding out she herself was a mutant, finding out there was a special school for mutants. Gwendolyn Maximoff thought the weirdest parts of her life were behind her. Artist!Keefe hc
When Keefe gets nervous he draws
Sometimes on himself, little flowers and fires on his fingers
but mostly he likes drawing on other people
Fitz and Biana could almost always tell how bad the day was buy how crowded his hands are
during Black Swan meetings, he’ll wordlessly grab Fitz or Biana’s (really whoever he feels comfortable with unless they’re really into it and he thinks he’ll be distracting) and grab a pen or pencil from his pocket and start doodling
When they thought that Sophie and Dex had died, Keefe was at Everglen almost everyday
He would lightleap over, walk up to Fitz’s room, and grab his arm
Keefe and Biana were the only people allowed in Fitz’s room at that time, sometimes they’d all sit on his bed, Biana leaning on Fitz, Keefe holding onto Fitz
And when Keefe’s pen would sometimes poke a little too hard Fitz would say anything he would flinch either, because if Keefe had to deal with Fitz throwing things across the room and yelling and anything and everything, he could take a little pain
Then while Alden was broken, Keefe would find himself in Biana’s room, the sparkle pen that Biana had given him for midterms one year, drawing on her while she cried because after so many years of it, the feeling of the pen on her arm slowly moving was comforting
While they hid in Mount Everest Keefe found himself resisting the urge to reach into his pockets and grab his pen, but he left it at home because he it wasn’t the time
And after when they found out that it was his mom he found himself running out of reachable room on his arms and ankles
Then they were at the Black Swan and his co-revenge with Dex he finds himself trying to calm his panic attack that shouldn’t be happening why now?? Dex asks what helps him and finds himself rubbing his back while he draws beautiful designs on his arm
Keefe knew he was coming apart but he didn’t find himself in front of Fitz’s door, he was in his own room surrounded by papers on the walls because he didn’t need to calm down he needed to figure it out
and when he decides to join the Neverseen and he feels even more alone because they took away his pen so he was left with tracing ideas on his arms
When Sophie tells him it’s time for him to come home he grabs his pen along with the caches because screw it Biana gave it to him and like hell he’s gonna leave it and he finds himself trying to keep Sophie alive with his nonexistent healing skills and he’s done all he can waiting for some to
and she does she doesn’t say anything about the pen marks on her arm because they have bigger things to worry about and he’s ignoring them just as much as her
when Sophie tells him that he has to stay home Ro makes fun of him for drawing like a crazy person but when he wakes up from a nightmare and she has to calm him down she lets him draw on her only moderately complaining about how sparkly it is couldn’t he have any other pen? but only when she knows he’s okay because she cares guys
and when he visits Quentin for something that he was supposed to pick up, he finds no one home, and the package on the table when he hears muffled sobs coming from another room
after a bit of debating he tries to trace them through the house he finds Amy curled up on a couch sobbing into her knees he approaches her slowly and asks if she’s okay to which he gets a soft shake of her head and so he sits next to her and asks if she wants a hug to which she launches herself at him and he holds her for a bit because keefe would be an amazing older brother and loves kids and he asks if he can draw on her arm, because that helps him and he’s been told it’s soothing
so he lets her talk as he draws and she talks about her family and her life in the Forbidden Cities and she asks if she can draw on him and at first he’s surprised but he hands her his sparkly pen and lets her draw on his hand and he tells her about things in the Lost Cities and she asks about Sophie and their friends so he tells her
Eventually he remembers the package and she asks if he could come back again and they become friends and when she goes back, they find a way to keep in touch because amy’s like his little sister and amy wants to keep an eye on this reckless idiot that’s her older brother
In the library when they’re searching their way through books and Tam passes out what it’s boring and he’s never actually had a full nights sleep and what’s a better time than now? and he wakes up to his left arm having stars and trees drawn on along with this little icon that look suspiciously like his bangs and on the inside of his wrist is surprisingly nice handwriting “Sorry Bangs Boy, you passed out”
Tam just sighs and washes it off after showing it to Linh who laughs and thinks it’s cute that that’s what Keefe does when he’s stressed because they’d be lying if they said they didn’t notice how tense Keefe had been
Three days later while combing the streets of Atlantis, he finds himself ranting to Linh who just nods and listens and when they sit down at a shop he finally feels comfortable to ask if he can draw on her hand and Linh gets very excited because he’s trusting her and he acts like it’s no big deal when she compliments the henna like drawing on her hand and asks if Biana gave him the sparkle pen
During the trials he goes to draw on Fitz’s arm, but as he reaches out Fitz yanks his arm away and blankly stares straight ahead and there’s a small part of Keefe that cracks a little because Fitz hadn’t done that before and Biana glances over at him and gives him a sympalizing look and he remembered that he was supposed to be comforting them
When Fitz and Sophie got stuck in the Healing Center Keefe felt his gut wrench everytime he looked at Fitz because the last time he had been awake he had made it clear that Keefe wasn’t allowed to touch him
the days he’s not with Sophie he’s with Biana, because she needs someone, but in turn he’s hanging around Dex again and often he’ll find himself in Dex’s room testing out some new gadget with Biana, ro makes fun of him often for it or they’re training with Linh and the best part is it’s often that they ask him to draw on them
When Biana feels anxious about her scars he makes them in to falling stars or flowers, at one point he makes them into a snake and she decides that that’s her favorite a very pink and sparkly menacing snake
When they’re all tired from school Dex finds himself with Keefe holding his arm connecting the freckles as the rest find new things that they look like
And Linh always wants a new fancy henna-like design on her hand
When Tam gets taken and Fitzphie becomes a thing, Keefe is with Linh drawing as she cries chanting that they have to get him back, “We will, we will”
He’s there for the others, like he always has been, to the point that their parents aren’t surprised anymore when he randomly light leaps and finds his own way up to their rooms
he talks to Amy too, making sure things are okay, and he smiles and jokes around with her when she asks about them, he doesn’t want her to worry
Dex and Biana tell him about Team Valiant the first chance they have
And when Sophie needs him he’s there, but with a smile and a joke and a plea for human cookies because she didn’t need art, she needed him
And when he comes up with the plan to go to the dwarven city Linh and Marella immediately agree because there was no way in hell they were keeping Linh away from her brother
When he goes into acoma everyone loses it
Sophie and Fitz switch off on days
Linh hasn’t washed off the last mark he gave her, she won’t not until he wakes up, Marella and Marcua go with her sometimes Tam will too “Never thought I’d miss you making fun of my hair buddy”
Biana gets more sparkle pens for him and draws her snake twisting around his arm “She’ll protect you”
Keefe only has a few freckles, and they’re mostly on his hands, so Dex makes sure to connect them “Come on Keefe, I can’t prank people without you”
After the first week when it really set in, Fitz cried next to him for hours while Biana held him, “You can draw on me everyday for the rest of our lives if you just wake up” he says pounding the nightstand
As Sophie watches the drawing appear she starts adding some of her own, some are candy from the Forbidden Cities, and she claimed the inside of his wrist with Alicorn wings like he drew the first time
When Amy asked why Keefe wasn’t returning her calls Sophie realized that she didn’t know, and she didn’t even realized that they talked and when she tells her Amy goes absolutely feral Sophie comes to grab her and she barges right into the Councillor’s meeting room not giving a shit that she could be banned forever, and pounds her fist into the table and tells them that she will be visiting once a week after so long it got moved to once a month and she dares any of them to tell her otherwise
Bronte and Oralie are the first to agree and Emery is the last, and he tries to give this girl his hardest stare, and even Sophie cringes a little but Amy stares back jaw set, face hard, hands in fists on the table and finally he agrees
So she visits and sometimes if others are there they’ll fill her in on somethings, and occasionally they’ll tell her stories about Keefe about their history and she’ll sit their holding Keefe’s hand in a death grip and will listen
Elwin quickly learns what marks he can and cant wash off most of them stay some they like to redraw, he learns who will leave easier and who wont and he learns to be a bit harder but a bit softer with these stubborn kids the only one he won’t kick out forcefully is Amy the one and only time he tried she let a massive string of human cusswords and yelled that she wasn’t going to leave her brother’s side and Elwin knew not to mess with the young human who made the Council bend to her will Amy makes a bit of a reputation for herself they learn to fear her a bit
Ro is the only one that never left Keefe’s side because he was her charge but more importantly her friend
Most days she sit in the corner silently, her gaze flickering throughout the room, checking all the exist and checking on Keefe and even after her father relieved her of her duty over Keefe and said she could come home she refused and said she wasn’t leaving til he wakes, Amy was the first one to approach her she plopped herself down next to her and stared at her dagger until she would let her hold it, when she comes over Amy demands that she teaches her how to fight and she does sometimes Elwin asks if they’ll go outside before they ruin his office please and thank you I can look after him for a few minutes and so they do and Ro teaches her everything and sometimes Sandor and the others while help train her a bit, no one knows against what, she says it’s to keep herself grounded and maybe a bit because she wants to storm up to the Neverseen and tear them apart bit by bit
But all it took to get this many people to care about him was one simple quirk of drawing on people’s arms i might make one of these about ro and amy’s friendship because it’s adorable and I think it would be great

The Littlest Timelord: The Death of the Doctor Chapter 34
TITLE: The Littlest Timelord: The Death of the Doctor Chapter 34 PAIRING: No Pairing RATING: T CHAPTER: 34/? SUMMARY: The Doctor’s death is looming on the horizon and Elise is growing every day. What the Doctor doesn’t know is that he has 200 years to teach Elise all he knows. Amy, Rory, and River let Elise in on their secret, because River knows she will keep it. What will Elise do when he’s gone?
[A/N - Last chapter before the series finale!]
Craig paced the living room floor with Alfie in his arms as the Doctor worked on the Cybermat. Craig yawned. “I'm knackered. That thing was eating up the electricity?”
“And transmitting it up to the Cybership. But why? Why do they need power? Why are those conversions not complete yet, and what are they doing up there?” the Doctor asked.
“You said you were going to look at its brain.”
“No, I had to wipe its brain. Now I can reprogram it and use it as a weapon against them.”
Craig sat down next to the Doctor on the couch. “The Cybermat came after us?”
“No, after me.”
“They sent it after us.”
“After me. Because of me, you and Alfie nearly died.” The Doctor stopped working on the Cybermat. “Do you still feel safe with me, Craig?”
“You can't help who your mates are.”
“No. I am a stupid, selfish man. Always have been. I should have made you go. I should never have come here.”
“What would have happened if you hadn't come? Who else knows about the Cybermen and teleports?”
“I put people in danger.”
“Stop beating yourself up. If it weren't for you, this whole planet would be an absolute ruin.”
“Craig, very soon I won't be here. My time is running out. I don't mean Exedor. Silence will fall when the question is asked. Don't even know what the question is. I always knew I'd die still asking. Thing is, Craig, its tomorrow. Can't put it off any more. Tomorrow is the day I…” The Doctor looked back and saw Craig and Alfie asleep. He stood up and covered them with a blanket.
The Doctor and Elise waited for the sun to rise before leaving Craig’s house. Elise had spent the night crying in her father’s arms as he tried to comfort her. She knew this moment was coming, but she wasn’t ready to say goodbye to him yet.
“Safe mode. Clever me. Come along, bitey.”
They made their way to the department store.
“Morning!” Val greeted them.
“Morning. Teleport's still fused. They didn't repair it. So, the Cyberman last night. How did it get down here, how did it get out? And why, why, am I asking you?”
“You found the silver rat?”
“But where are the silver men?”
They went into the changing rooms.
“Secondary teleport. No, there is no other teleport. They must have had a back-up system. Something complicated, something powerful, something shielded. Something like a door? A door! A dyscillium-bonded steel door disguised as a wall.” The Doctor entered one of the changing cubicles and opened the door disguised as a mirror. “That is cheating. So, it didn't teleport down, they climbed up.”
Elise was about to follow the Doctor into the tunnel when he stopped her. “Stay here.”
“But…”
He cupped her face. “Please.”
Blue stared into green until Elise finally agreed.
The Doctor kissed her forehead and stepped back into the tunnel.
Elise left the changing rooms and found Craig. “Craig?”
“Oh! Elise! Where’s the Doctor?”
Her silence told him everything.
“Oh god. He went off alone, didn’t he?” He handed Alfie to her. “I’ve got to help him!”
“I know. You’re a good friend, Craig Owens.”
Craig ran off, leaving Elise alone with Alfie.
“Hello, again Alfie.”
Alfie whined.
“I know you like being called Stormageddon, but I’m not calling you that.”
Alfie started wailing.
“Alfie, shhh. It’s okay. Daddy will be back soon.”
But Alfie kept crying.
Elise tried bouncing him. “Oh, um. What if I sing? Yeah. Why are there so many, songs about rainbows, and what’s on the other side…?”
Singing didn’t help either. If anything, it made Alfie cry even louder. Elise had no idea what to do.
The Doctor and Craig stepped out of the elevator.
Craig ran over to Elise, who handed Alfie over to him. Alfie gurgled.
“That was another review. Ten out of ten,” the Doctor told him.
“The Cybermen. They blew up. I blew them up with love.”
“No, that's impossible. And also grossly sentimental and over simplistic. You destroyed them because of the deeply ingrained hereditary human trait to protect one's own genes, which in turn triggered a…a…a. Yeah. Love. You blew them up with love.”
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
While Craig was distracted, Elise and the Doctor made their way back to Craig’s house to clean up.
Craig entered the kitchen as Elise and the Doctor were coming in from the backyard.
“See, I do come back,” the Doctor said.
“How did you…?” Craig asked.
“Time machine. But even with time travel, getting glaziers on a Sunday. Tricky.”
“You went back in time? That means you used up your hours. What about Exedor?”
“What about you being in trouble with Sophie when she comes back? I couldn't let that happen.”
“We made quite a mess. Sorry about that,” Elise told him.
“You used up your time for me?” Craig asked.
“Course I did. You're me mate. I notice Stormageddon's very quiet and happy.”
Alfie giggled.
“Oh, he prefers the name Alfie now. And he's very proud of his dad.”
“He calls me dad?”
“Yes, of course he does now.”
Alfie gurgled.
“Yeah, I know. He's a bit thick, isn't he?”
Craig laughed. “Oi, shut up, you two.”
“Well, now it's time. I have to go.”
“Doctor, I know that something's wrong. I can help you.”
“Nobody can help me. I hope Sophie won't mind. I need these.” The Doctor picked up TARDIS blue envelopes. Everything was coming full circle.
“Where are you going to go?” Craig asked.
“America,” the Doctor said.
“Utah to be exact,” Elise added.
“Sophie'll be home any second. Are you sure…?” Craig asked.
“I can't miss this appointment, Craig. Goodbye, mate.”
Elise kissed Alfie on the head. “Goodbye, Alfie. One day. One day I’ll come back and we’ll see the stars.”
“Wait there. One second.” Craig left and came back with a Stetson. “From Sean's stag.”
“Wow.”
“You ride 'em, partner.”
“Oh, thanks.”
“Bye.”
There was a knock on the door.
Elise and the Doctor slipped out the back door and made their way to the TARDIS.
“Well then, old girl. One last trip, eh?” the Doctor asked.
Three stopped playing to watch Elise and the Doctor.
The Doctor approached the children. “Hey. I'm the Doctor. I was here to help. And you are very, very welcome.”
The Doctor and Elise entered the TARDIS and took off.

Survey Results
Buckle up! This is going to be a long post.
So you know the survey we sent out a little bit ago? Well, it’s closed now, and here are the results. It’s a fair amount of raw data, but we’ve done our best to make it easy to follow. (For some reason, tumblr isn’t letting us enter charts? But we’ve broken the numbers up into easy chunks.)
Thank you to the 23 of you who responded. We’re glad you participated. :D
Your Favorites
The first part of the survey covered who your favorite characters were. Some of those answers weren’t very surprising, but some of them are definitely interesting.
Keep in mind, not all the answers in any given category will add up to 23, since there was the option to choose nobody. Also, sometimes people are in more than one category, so while they might not be the overall favorite in one category they do have another chance.
The Freddy’s Crew:
Mark was the favorite, with 15 votes. Amy and Ethan both had 2, and Tyler had one. Nobody else was voted for.
The Law Enforcement:
MatPat was the overall favorite, also with 15 votes. Gar came in second with 4, and Nate had 2. Nobody else had any votes.
The Mafia:
We have a three-way tie here for first place, interestingly enough. PJ, Jordan, and Luna all got 6 votes each. (At least we know Luna is safe from the death later on.) Wiggles (Ohm) had 3, and Sophie had 2.
The Faceless:
The tie for favorite Faceless goes to Terroriser and Thomas Sanders with 4 votes each, immediately followed by a three-way tie with Jack, Gar, and Crimson* with 3 votes each. Ohm (Wiggles) and Gab both had 2 votes, and Vanoss and Robin (Kostya) had 1 each.
(*Reminder: Crimson is the OC replacement for Cry.)
The Mob:
The favorite in this category is one of those extremely unsurprising ones. Jack had 18 votes. Sam had 1, and Rhett had 1.
The Fancy Folk:
Felix came in as the overall favorite, with 11 votes, but Marzia’s 6 is more than most other people got at all, so that’s not at all shabby. Crimson had 4, and Thomas Fischbach had 2.
The Orchids:
Molly was, by far, the favorite here, with 14 votes. Minx had 4, Wade had 3, and JP had one.
The “Hard-to-Categorize”:
Technically, Dan had 8 votes and Phil had 7. However, one of you mentioned that Phil was tied with Dan for you in that category, which I’m going to count as an extra vote for Phil. So, once again, we have a tie for overall favorite, with Dan and Phil having 8 votes. Stephanie* had 2, and Jason had 1.
(*She wasn’t included in any of the categories, technically, but people wrote her in.)
The Mafiya (ish):
Thomas Sanders came in at a solid 8 votes, and Kostya (Robin) was close behind at 8. Rosanna had 5 (and to those who chose her as their favorite, my condolences). Buttons came in at 2, and, a bit surprisingly, Mir had 1 vote. I don’t know who you are, but I applaud your courage to put that on the survey the authors looked over.
Your Expected Deaths
Now, this second part was a bit harder to track, as you were allowed to choose as many people as you wanted from each category to say you were expecting them to die by the end of the series, but only one cause of death. Because of that, sometimes it’s difficult to pin down what cause of death people think is most likely to go to each character, but if there’s a clear trend it’ll be included in a note.
The Freddy’s Crew:
By far, you expect Mark to die--12 votes were cast towards that, with Tyler having 4 and Amy and Ethan both having 3.
As for the expected cause of death, 13 of you chose “protecting someone,” 2 chose “murdered,” 2 couldn’t explain the expectation*, and 1 chose “killed in a fight”.
By far, most of the “protecting someone” deaths belonged to Mark, but there was at least one person who assigned that to Tyler.
The Law Enforcement:
Most interestingly, the character most expected to die by the end of the series is Nate, with 11 votes. He’s followed closely by MatPat (7 votes), Gar (6 votes), and Patrck (5 votes). Whittaker has 2 votes, and Bob, Dlive, and Entoan all have 1 each.
The most popular expected cause of death is “protecting someone” with 7 votes, followed by “killed in a fight” with 6. “Murdered” has 5, “had it coming” had 3, and “seeking revenge” had 2.
Only 1 person thought we won’t kill any of these people, and most of you selected multiple people to die.
The Mafia:
A great deal many of you seem to be expecting Jordan to die (9 votes). The same goes for Wiggles (Ohm) with 8. PJ has 5, and Sophie has 2.
“Protecting someone” and “killed and a fight” have close numbers (8 and 7), but it’s moments like these I’ll ask you to consider that those to categories can and do sometimes overlap. “Murdered” had 2 votes, “seeking revenge” had 1, and “had it coming” had 1.
The Faceless:
It seems a lot of you are expecting Robin (Kostya) to die. 9 of you, in fact. Just like 5 of you think Gar is going to die. Ohm (Wiggles) and Crimson both have 4 votes towards their expected demise, and Vanoss and Thomas Sanders both have 2. Moo and Terroriser both have 1.
As for the causes of death, “killed in a fight” has a whopping 9 votes. “Protecting someone” has 3, as does “murdered.” “Had it coming” has 2.
The Mob:
Only 8 of you thought someone would die in this category, which means 15 of you figured we wouldn’t kill someone. It’ll be interesting to see how that ultimately plays out, but you do all have a pretty good read on us now, so you may just be right.
6 of you think we’re going to off Rhett, and 2 of you think we’re going to kill Jack.
“Killed in a fight” has 4 votes. “Protecting someone,” “murdered,” and “seeking revenge” all have 1 vote each.
The Fancy Folk:
11 of you expect Crimson to die by the end of the series. Thomas Fischbach has 6 votes. Ken and Felix both have 2, and Marzia has 1.
“Protecting someone” is the most popular reason of death, at 7 votes. “Murdered” has 4, “seeking revenge” has 3, and “killed in a fight” has 2. This is the other time I wonder where categories overlap.
The Orchids:
Wade is the character most expected to die, at 5 votes. Krism has 4 votes, Minx has 2, and Molly and JP both have 1.
“Killed in a fight” has 6 votes, and “protecting someone” and “murdered” both have 2 votes. “Seeking revenge” has 1, though it’s unclear who is seeking revenge and why.
The “Hard-to-Categorize”:
0 votes were cast here. None of you think we’re going to kill any of these people. That’s oddly trusting.
The Mafiya (ish):
Mir has 17 votes for his death. I don’t know if this means the other 6 people figured that expecting him to die was too hopeful or if they want to see him alive. Poopyhead McGee has 4 votes, Kostya (Robin) has 3, and Buttons has 2.
The reason of death “had it coming” had 17 votes, but only 16 were directed at Mir. “Murdered” had 2 votes, and “killed in a fight” and “seeking revenge” both had 1, and were both clearly attached to Kostya.
Additional Comments:
These are things that were added as causes of death that weren’t on the list. (These are not all the additional causes and comments.) If a particular quote was submitted with a name, the name has been removed for the sake of privacy.
I can’t help but think PJ is going overexert himself in this fight and he’s going to get sick again and actually die this time... which is exactly the kind of very mean thing I’d expect you to do after finally reuniting him as Sophie. And let’s be honest, if anyone in the Freddy’s crew is going to die, it’s going to be Mark because you WOULD make us go through his death twice
and
Robin will probably be out between a rock and a hard place in regards to his infiltration. Either he’ll try to protect someone and the Russian Mafia will kill him, or he’ll try to keep his cover and someone else will kill him - like other Mafia or the Police.
and
Honestly I really have no real idea on whose going to die. I just have a slight feeling that either Jack or PJ are going to die & it's going to be protecting the other, kind of poetic in a way.
and my personal favorite
Everybody gets to kill Mir 😈
