are you sugar free? that's so cool i'm interested in going added sugar free because i think it'll benefit some health issues but it feels like a big task and i'm not sure how to start so reading your post was really interesting! i hope you're well :-)
hi! i went mostly-added sugar free this year due to insulin resistance issues: basically, my cells don't metabolize sugars the way they should due to a genetic disorder. if you have something similar going on, i really recommend talking to a dietician or nutritionist, if it is at all geographically / monetarily possible, because talking to someone who could explain to me my specific needs based on my medical stuff and what to watch out for was extremely helpful. if not, then researching into more scientific sources on the specific medical issue you are considering a diet modification for could prove a good direction! i google nutrition facts of random things because my medical situation is so closely tied to glycemic index and diabetic stuff, so personally for me it can be very helpful.
i live in europe so i can only recommend brands from around me if you are interested in that, or like specific sweets places from budapest, hungary specifically, lmao. if you are interested in replacing sugar for teas and coffees or cooking and baking, i can talk about what i've been using, and my successes or failures with them.
