are you sugar free? that's so cool i'm interested in going added sugar free because i think it'll benefit some health issues but it feels like a big task and i'm not sure how to start so reading your post was really interesting! i hope you're well :-)
hi! i went mostly-added sugar free this year due to insulin resistance issues: basically, my cells don't metabolize sugars the way they should due to a genetic disorder. if you have something similar going on, i really recommend talking to a dietician or nutritionist, if it is at all geographically / monetarily possible, because talking to someone who could explain to me my specific needs based on my medical stuff and what to watch out for was extremely helpful. if not, then researching into more scientific sources on the specific medical issue you are considering a diet modification for could prove a good direction! i google nutrition facts of random things because my medical situation is so closely tied to glycemic index and diabetic stuff, so personally for me it can be very helpful.
i live in europe so i can only recommend brands from around me if you are interested in that, or like specific sweets places from budapest, hungary specifically, lmao. if you are interested in replacing sugar for teas and coffees or cooking and baking, i can talk about what i've been using, and my successes or failures with them.
#vesselage#asks#anon#thank you so much for reaching out!#i have so much to say about my medically prescribed low carb diet that i almost never get the opportunity to speak on#doggy dog world for guys like me & diabetics out there#sf stuff can run so expensive! but luckily ive found these days most places carry stuff you can eat even on such carb restrictions#also a lot of health and gym bro websites will make shit up and lie about the sweeteners in their products#and their glycemic index and such#because all the average bodybuilder consumer will see is wow! low glycemic index syrup! so healthy for you!#but whether it spikes their blood sugar or not#really doesnt matter for them in the long run if they dont also happen to have insulin problems#so i usually just dont buy stuff with sweeteners im not familiar with and save my questions for a consult with my specialist...#oh also if you do want to get into watching sugars always read the backs of every package.#they have added sugar in everything so its not worth it to sweat it too much#especially if its a little bit in like pasta sauce or something.#the vegetables and other slower carbs youre eating it with makes it so its not the same as eating a bag or sour patch kids or smth#anyway novel in the tags. yeah thats uncle lucas' lowsugarbaby guide (intro)#and yes being always 100% sugar free is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE so you dont have to be intimidated anon#exploring the limited options still can be tons of fun!

istg what I wouldn't give to ride Kiba after having a horrible day
18+ MDNI, fem!reader // established relationship, domestic comfort.
wc: 1.9k
coming home to find him dressed in sweatpants and manspreading on the couch; looking warm and cozy and just so… boyfriend.
he greets you with a lazy grin and a little ‘hey, babe’ when he sees you locking the front door behind you, and after the day you’ve just had, he’s like a sight for sore eyes.
your bag lands with an audible thud on the floor; the shoes are quick to follow. keys get tossed to the side, as does the umbrella that you’d uselessly been carrying around the entire day for absolutely nothing since the weather app had decided to fuck you over. you’re tired, overstimulated in a sense, but completely sucked dry of any emotion at the same time.
the clothes you’re wearing feel overly tight on your body and the scarf that you had only just unwrapped from around your neck felt like it was choking you during the entire train ride home. it makes you want to gather them all up in a pile, pour gasoline over it and set it right on fire.
but now that you’re home, being greeted by your significant other — who looks so appealing after his shower, by the way — eases the discomfort a little bit. so you rush to get to him as fast as you can, shimmying out of your coat along the way, and dropping it in the middle of the hallway because you cannot even be bothered enough to hang it in its rightful place.
i mean, it’s not like it matters. one of you will pick it up later… probably.
and so, the soft pitter-patter of footsteps ensues.
despite watching you this entire time, kiba still lets out a little noise of startlement when you drop everything to collide with him and climb into his lap.
“aw… did my girl have a rough day?” he inquires playfully, smoothing down your hair when you finally stop squirming on top of him.
your arms wrap around his neck as you nod. “worst day ever, actually.”
“mm.” he gives you a moment while he considers the statement and how serious it is, offering you a chance to add more to it. but since you don’t, there’s a small pause before he asks, “wanna talk ‘bout it?”
“not really.” you blink, trying to ignore the weight that sits atop your eyelids. you’re just so tired and you feel so empty; work has been draining you like crazy. “maybe later.”
“okay,” is all he says, sensing that you don’t want him to push into the matter. “later, then.”
settled in, he strokes your back while he continues to watch the movie, listening and occasionally chuckling at the little sighs of displeasure that you keep letting out whenever he stops. his touch is loving and his palm is broad. it feels good whenever he drags it along the length of your spine that you’ve covered up with a thin white blouse. up and down solace.
“i made dinner by the way,” he mumbles at some point. “it’s on the stove.”
“yeah?” this makes you perk up. food sounds nice; especially the promise of a warm meal that’s actually cooked instead of microwaved. “what did you make?”
“just some pasta. didn’t have time for somethin’ more fancy since i got off work later than usual, but i did make that sauce that you like.”
“ugh, thank you.” your gratitude shows in the way you rest your forehead against his shoulder and hug him tighter. “did you do the dishes too?”
briefly faltering, he says, “i loaded up the dishwasher… does that count?”
it draws a little laugh out of you. “lazy ass.”
“shush.”
you obey for once, deciding to stay quiet when he shushes you. long moments of comfortable silence pass once more; there’s nothing to fill the quiet except for the TV.
nuzzling into the crook of his neck so that you can hide your face from the world, you inhale that deep, almost spicy scent that is so unique to him and only him, before you press a gentle kiss right on top of his pulse point, disturbing its calm rhythm and urging it into something just a little bit faster.
for as long as you can remember, kiba has always been extremely responsive to you, even at the simplest of pecks aimed at his neck. but doing it one time isn’t nearly enough, so you tug on the collar of his t-shirt to get better access and kiss it again. and again.
by the fourth time, he feels the need to readjust in his seat and to wrap his hands around your hips.
“you trying to tell me something?” he mumbles, paying attention to how you drag your teeth over his sweet spot every so often now.
his eyes flutter shut at the sensation and squeeze when you part your lips wider and your teeth finally sink into the skin. the bite isn’t nearly as deep as the one he’d be able to give you, taking his sharp canines into consideration, but it does feel just as good nevertheless.
it makes his toes curl against the carpet and a deep exhale escape his mouth. his body tingles with growing warmth that starts in the pit of his stomach, slowly awakening and buzzing with what he guesses is lewd anticipation.
“no,” you reply, your voice slipping into something deeper; more sultry as you continue your ministrations. “just wanna kiss you a little bit… i missed you.”
the smile in his voice is as audible as ever as he says, “is that so?”
you suck on his neck extra hard in answer — it’s not strong enough to leave a hickey, but it does make his cock twitch in his underwear as blood rushes below his waist.
before he can say anything or act like a smartass, your fingers tangle into his hair. it’s thick and rich; the chestnut curls fill your hands as you slide them to the back of his head and tug at the roots.
a small grunt escapes him at that, planting a small kernel of pride within your chest which begins to bloom rather quickly. he leans back against the backrest of the couch, letting you touch him however you wish because he plans on doing the same.
his hands slip underneath your skirt, familiar and skillful. he bunches it up, causing wrinkles to appear in the fabric as he exposes your thighs, then your ass. he gropes the plush flesh then, squeezing and caressing; making the soft cotton of your panties stretch with the action.
the touching eventually makes you start to grind against him, and after spending so many years together, your bodies have learned to move as one during it. when he bucks his hips up, yours press down. when your back arches, his hand fills the empty space along the curve.
it’s as simple as breathing.
your feet are tucked underneath you and are propped on his knees, white thigh-high socks rubbing against his sweatpants. warm wetness pools between your legs as you rub your clothed pussy against the bulge that’s now become quite apparent despite the layers of clothes keeping you from each other. even your panties succeed in stimulating your clit.
you smile as you reach between you so that you can wrap your hand around the ridge of his cock and begin to stroke it the exact way he likes it.
meanwhile, kiba huffs and busies himself with kissing the small patch of uncovered skin near your collarbone. if you’re not careful, he might just end up ripping your pretty blouse so that his mouth and hands can reach your tits — lord knows it wouldn’t be the first time. he’s never been patient enough to work with so many dainty buttons, especially when he’s horny out of his fucking mind.
it’s the reason why you push him back against the backrest with the help of your fingers digging into his chest. why you kiss him gently when he looks at you with big, lovesick pupils and a prominent blush tinting his cheeks.
gosh, you want to marry this man.
“what’s wrong?” his exhale is laboured as he rasps the words, signature drawl instantly coming forward. his voice is so deep and riddled with want that it makes your pussy clench around nothing. you can’t wait to have him inside you.
“nothing’s wrong,” you reply, fingers working to unbutton your blouse. “i just wanna get this off real quick.”
“lemme help,” he says as he reaches for you, but you’re quick to slap his hand away.
“no, you’ll ruin it just like you ruined the last one.” another kiss is given, this time an apologetic one that’s aimed at his forehead. “just sit there and look pretty while i handle this, okay?”
surprisingly, he does. granted, he’s terribly impatient as he waits; you can feel his knee bouncing underneath you and his piercing stare burning holes into your face, but by the time the blouse and the bra are both tossed to the side, he’s been obedient enough to earn himself a reward.
“wanna sit on it now, ki,” you mumble, the corners of your lips twitching upwards again as you watch him suck your nipple into his mouth the second it’s exposed.
his nose smushes against the fat of your breast while his hand gropes the other, thumb swiping over the bud, making you even more sensitive than you already are since your period is about to pay you a visit soon. and as if that wasn’t enough already, whenever you feel the tips of his sharp fangs graze your skin, it sends exciting adrenaline coursing your veins.
“c’mon,” you insist, “you’ll get to do that later.”
he kisses your nipple softly when you push him back again, and blows on the saliva he’s left there so that he can watch you shiver.
it’s why he’s practically musing as he says, “okay, sweetheart.”
you work together so that he can pull his sweatpants low enough for his cock to become free. after a couple of more kisses and strokes, you use your own saliva instead of getting up to venture off for lube, and guide him inside you with the help of your hand, while his keeps your panties tucked to the side.
connected at long last, you both let out faint sounds of pleasure. it’s nice; warm and wet. it makes you want to kiss each other silly from how in love you are.
“you wanna take over or should i?” he asks, chocolate brown eyes glued to where your clit kisses his dark pubic hair now. besides dripping with your own arousal, you’ve also used so much spit that the hairs glisten with moisture. he thinks it’s hot as hell.
“mm, you do it,” you utter softly, sighing. “i’m too tired to even exist right now, much less ride you.”
“tsch… and then you have the nerve to call me the lazy one,” he teases with a click of his tongue against his teeth, but immediately wraps his arms around you so that he can bring you closer to his chest.
you let out a soft little whimper when he draws his hips back and ruts them into you slowly, making another wave of pleasure wash over your body, replacing the badness that was gathering throughout the day.
kiba is a good boyfriend.
you can trust him to rail the negativity out of you.

hiii! can you please do a top!leon x bottom!plus sized fem reader? like him worshipping and praising her body before they do the deed 😮💨
thank you!! xoxo
Hi! I'm so sorry to answer this request so late. I hope you like it. I tried my best, but it's my first time writing smutt
Leon S. Kennedy x plus size!fem! Reader Nsfw
The actual "deed" is between the blue hearts dividers ;) feel free to skip it if you want to
Leon and you have been dating for a couple of months now. You guys have done the deed a couple of times by now. You'd think he would be a more "casual," but the man still treats you like the goddess you are EVERY.SINGLE.TIME
And of course, since he's not a pornstar, he actually gives you foreplay. And today wasn't an exception.
Like every day, you did a bit of work around the house, worked a bit, enjoyed a show or a book...
And now you're making butternut pastas for dinner/supper ( the inspo ).
Everything was going great. The dish looked and smelled heavenly, music playing in the background for you to sway your hips to, rain playing in the background, making a cosy atmosphere,... But better of all, while you were stirring your sauce so it didn't burn, you heard the door of your apartment open.
"Sweatheart, I'm home!" Leon says, all while getting off shoes and jacket off. He smells the air for a bit before walking up to you in the kitchen. You strutt quickly over him and give him a hug before pressing tons of little pecks on his neck.
"Hey there, what are you cooking? It smells amazing." He asks while looking at your pot and trying to figure out what's in there.
"It's a butternut sauce that'll go with pastas! Also, would you like me to cook you some meat with it? I forgot that it didn't have any proteins in it." You ask while looking up at him and then waiting for him to reply.
"Actually, there's something else that I'd love to eat right now." He mumbles against your neck before gently nibbling the skin there. You let out a small pleased sigh before looking up again at his face.
"What about the food?" You ask with a small pout. After all, you did work really hard to make him good food.
"Food can wait, but myself? I'm quite in need of your loving right now ___." He says before bringing you closer to him, turning the stove off and moving your pot onto your marble counter.
"Come on baby, don't you want to help me?" He insists a bit.
You let out a little huff before agreeing with him. After all, who were you to deny such a request? Especially from him.
So now you have the small of your back pressed around the counter while Leon leaves little love bites on your neck. You let out small moans before lightly grabbing at his growing boner. He lets out a pleased grunt, and his hands wait at the hem of your shirt for you to confirm that he can take it off. You grab his hand with your unoccupied one and move them up to tell him that you were indeed okay with him doing that. So your shirt comes off, and Leon is just looking at you with a mixed love-lust expression.
"I've seen your body many times, and yet I'm still amazed by its beauty." He lets out without even thinking about it. You blush a little, turn your head, and look away, feeling a bit shy from such a declaration, but Leon instantly grabs your shin and gently turns your head back to face him.
"Eyes on me, please." He commands in a soft tone. Leon isn't a hard dom. He's here for your pleasure, and god knows how much getting out of your shell is a turn-on for the both of you.
You obey like the good girl you are. You guys make out, his tongue being the dominant one, but yours still trying to dominate. He backs off a little so you both can catch your breaths. After a few seconds, he gets down on his knees before you, kissing your soft stomach and lightly gripping your hips, all while maintaining eye contact with you.
"Fuuuck~ You're so fucking perfect, you can't even imagine.." He says, breath caught in his throat because of how beautiful he finds you. He grips the aim of your pants and waits for you to confirm once again that you're okay. You nod your head, and as soon as you do, he helps you out of your pants.
He then kisses your tights, tracing your stretch marks with his finger before they get closer and closer to your still clothed pussy. You start to get really needy and grab his hand to get him back up again.
Once he's up you whisper "How did I get so lucky? You're the best I've ever had and probably ever will."
He kisses you with a big smile before saying, "Well sadly I couldn't be your first but hopefully I'll be your last baby." You almost tear up because of the cuteness of this genuine confession. Leon hands trace to small patch of hickeys and bites he made earlier before they lower and start massaging your breasts. He does that for a little while before he starts pushing his hips against yours. You both moan at the feeling. He lets out a little chuckle at his own reaction to such a small action before asking you, "Would you like me to eat you out before continuing ooooor?".
"Not right now no, I really need you Leon~" You moan out as he ruts against you, rubbing you clit unintentionally.
He smiles before getting his shirt and pants off. He grabs you ass so that you can jump to sit on the counter.
He grabs the hem of your underwear, and you lift your hips to make it easier for him to take them off. Once he's done, his hands go to your back and unbuckle the strap of your bra. You let out a small hum at the freeing feeling. Your chest bounced a bit once freed from its barrier. Leon almost drools at the sight. He presses his index and middle finger against your mouth for you to wet them. So you do. You even put on a little show, looking at him seductively and bobbing your head like you would do on his cock. He grabs his hard-on with his other hand and squeezes it. He groans and remove his fingers from your mouth to rub them against you pussy lips and spreading them so he can insert them afterwards. When you feel them in, you let out a moan and close your eyes before remembering that he wanted them on him, so you open them back up obediently. He fingers you for a bit before taking his boxers off and rubbing his tip against your hole.
He teases you by slowly pushing in the tiniest bit of his member before pulling out. He keeps doing that before you start whining, "Leeeeeon~," you kick your feet a bit like a child throwing a tantrum, which makes him chuckle.
"What's the matter, sweetheart?" Great. He also teases you verbally now.
"Nghhhh~ I need you in!!" You were starting to get impatient. How could he make you so horny just to deny you in the last moment?
"But I'm in. Look down sweet cheeks," he says while grabbing the soft of your hips.
"Noooo~!! I need you all in, need your cock deep inside of me!," and that's all he needed to hear before getting fully in and starting to actually fuck you.
"Fucking he'll, you're so tight on me. You really like this, don't you? " You whine and moan, and he grunts before continuing, "That's okay, baby, I fuck-~ I love it too. I love you, love your body, and love your pussy~"
You both keep going before you start to get close. Seeing that, Leon makes sure to keep the same pace that is making you close and rubs your clit with his thumb.
"Aaah~ fuck, I'm gonna-" and before you could even finish, your legs shake and you cum on his cock.
He moans out at the way you tighten against him while cumming, "fuuuuck~ gripping me so tight!"
He keeps fucking into you until he cums with the most beautiful chocked out moan that you'd ever hear.
After you both catch your breaths, foreheads against eatchothers, he wipes his cum off of you with his shirt, making you whine since your now sensitive, and helps you back in your undies and the shirt you wore before. He puts his boxer's back on and kiss your cheek before getting all of the dirty unused laundry in your laundry basket in the bathroom.
You smile, kinda in a silly fucked out way, and wipe your counter before getting back to cooking so the both of you can actually eat.
Once you both have eaten, you cuddle on the couch and watch a random show on the tv, just happy being together ❤️
Voilà! Hope it's was okay. I just find the "deed" part a bit rushed and awkward, but it's not that I'm uncomfortable writing it's just that I'm not used to writing this :)
Have a good day/night, and be safe, cuties!

FALLOUT 4 HEADCANON MASTERPOST
two and a half years ago (👀) I posted a list of headcanons right around when I started playing around with the ideas in my fallout WIP
I've decided they ( 1 + 2 ) need to be updated and added to especially after Death Shroud gave me so many great ideas/things I want to steal. Added break to save you dash my loves <3
I will keep adding to this lmao
SECTIONS:
Death Shroud Stuff I'm Kidnapping
Misc Stuff From Asks, Mods, and My Brain (AKA THE LONGEST SECTION)
From #1 (Link Here)
We are keeping chair bound Murphy
I may or may not be recanting my gangly tall 'n thin Hancock HC. I oscillate wildly between wanting him to be Eldritch God™ tall and "gimme uppies! :3" short. He may end up being both. His height will be whatever is funniest for the bit.
oh yeah Sarah Lyons got merc-ed B)
We are still kicking with Kellogg in Nicky's skull but with the added angsty-ness brought in by Death Shroud. Oh the plot! Oh how it hurts so good! Kellogg wanting to find someway to punish the SoleSu(s) and Nick for picking through his memories? Ugh! Give me it all.
We are cutting Billy and the Fridge. I don't want to deal with the nightmare plot holes it will bring up and Quincy will already have enough BS. Plus the more I think about it the less I like the whole quest and its placement. Fuck! Maybe he'll be referenced in Publick Occurrences? I don't care! We're loosey goosey bay-be!
- 10. can stay. I have no issues with them and nothing funny to add
From #2 (Link Here)
Now I can bring up my beloved Vault-Tec Rep. Him in the Death Shroud? Perfect. Beautiful. Stunning. I no longer have to call him Paul Eiding as a very direct nod to his VO. Our Beloved David Dwecker is married to Sheffield and they have a house in Sanctuary filled with Nuka-Cola memorabilia (for Sheffield) and collectable plates (the kind grandmothers display for our lovely Rep). They have a little sitting area set up in the carport where they hangout, smoke, and dance together to Diamond City Radio. I need this for my mental health okay?
Shaun being Autistic is something I really want to explore. I truly forget who I first saw say this but it is not an original idea by any means. I also think the poor thing would have some level of trauma from everything so exploring that is gonna be fun! (no it will not oh my god I'm going to dredge up all my childhood issues.)
OHHHH CHRISTMAS. YULETIDE. FEAST OF ST. NICHOLAS. I find the "Seth Patrick" bit SO funny in Death Shroud so that is staying but also I feel like the feast of St. Nicholas got jokingly flipped into a celebration of Nick Valentine (Same with Valentine's Day) and people are beginning to forget the correct version. Nick tolerates it with an eye roll and a wry joke about people needing to read their history books but secretly finds the whole thing funny. Ellie has a santa suit for Nick to don during "his" holiday. Also the school children in Diamond City send Nick "Valentines" on valentines day and he displays them on his corkboard.
Music. My god the Johnny Guitar bit had me by the throat during Death Shroud. Expand those music libraries! Before you know it I'm gonna give Travis a rolling ladder attached to bookcases upon bookcases of records and holotapes. I want to hear people complain about how many Andrews Sisters records survived and God why won't Travis stop playing them!
The Flavor of Goodneighbor needs to be so complex. Like a good pasta sauce. I better be so overcome by the layers and smells and textures. Better Goodneighbor and Better Third Rail are really good starts but I'm expanding the shit out of both of them I think. I want to feel like Goodneighbor truly is dangerous to be in. Being able to cross most of the town in one sprint burst isn't cutting it Bethany Esda! Make it truly baffling how Hancock knows so much about the happenings in his town.
- 8. are about the BoS and I stand by them. You will get to meet my Lone Wanderer and learn about the hierarchies a little better. I redesigned the Orders and added one I think? I have to re-sort those notes lmao. Also the piloting thing is like MAJORLY important to me because the frequency of vertibird crashes in game pissed me off to no end.
From Death Shroud (@chadfallout76podcast THANK YOU)
Danse is just... Like That now. I can't wait to explore his character before and after Blind Betrayal especially because he will not be leaving the Brotherhood and he will still be Like That. [spoiler warning ;) for my story lol] I can't wait for the beautiful moments that will be born of it.
I actually kind of love some of the plot points in Death Shroud like the Mob Family wars? Staying 100%. Same with Ma and Boss Lombardo and some of the other families.
As is Charlie but I refuse to let him die. I got very attached to Charlie and his death was so perfect but this time he gets to stay alive dammit.
Magnolia sending Magnolia flowers with her letters? Genius
Vault-Tec Rep (David my beloved) being the saddest, wettest cat of a man imaginable when he's in Goodneighbor? Also fucking genius.
"Fish-lips" Malone being part of the same family as Skinny has me so excited for more mob family bullshit.
Ruffino's and the Black Rose is being transplanted somewhere and maybe might be near the Combat Zone. New den of sin anyone?
Obviously I'm not going to attempt to pull apart the fabric of reality in-canon but my god Death Shroud was fun <3
Some new Misc HCs
Diamond City is bigger and more populated, kind of in the same vein as the Goodneighbor HC. I haven't found a mod layout I like so I might end up redesigning it (Please kill me)
This is an old one from an ask! Hancock will help work the bar at the Third Rail occasionally. He's a notorious show off and his cocktails are mainly just straight liquor but he entertains the hell out of people when he dives over the bar to take orders and bother Whitechapel Charlie. There are major losses on nights he bartends due to the fact he forgets (sometimes purposefully) to take payment. Regulars know to put the cash in the tip jar so Whitechapel can collect it at the end of the night.
Another thing I'm keeping from an ancient ask, Danse wants kids. Badly. And the crushing blow of being sterile really fucks with him for a while. but he eventually comes to terms with it. He's also still touchy (as in he's always touching his partner) per that ask because I think that's cute.
I'm just going through old asks now lmao. Nick and Ellie dance together like the true father-daughter pair they are
I forgot who drew this but I once saw someone pair Sturges and Ellie together and that is the cutest damn thing so it stays.
MacReady got the Lone Wanderer's Grognak magazine as a gift for letting them into Little Lamplight and it's one of his prized possessions.
Macready and the Lone Wanderer's reunion is very cute my dudes.
More general slice of life stuff like fishing on the mainland and boats, more things to do in general, transportation, cool amputees, and other shit listed in this post I reblogged YEARS ago
OH Travis and Scarlett get married <3
Danny Sullivan skips town after taking the fun way down from the mayor's office and travels with some cross country caravans before coming back to work in Diamond City. YES HE LIVES!
Holy fuck i forgot I had this mod but the Institute projects the sky up on their ugly concrete dome because this mod fucks hard
Just the general vibe of raiders employing children and stringing more dead mutilated bodies about. There are mods for that and let me tell you they make the raider camps horrifying. No I will not be linking them. But they are available on Nexus should you want them.
Okay I'm changing the layout of everything apparently: Including but not limited to the Railroad HQ, The Prydwen, Vault 111, etc. Fuck game design I guess lmao. I like XFreakish's Railroad Redone and NordKitten's A Sensible Prydwen Overhaul for in game and basically plan to build off of them.
The asks: Hancock bartending, Danse wanting kids and being into physical affection, Nick and Ellie Dancing + MacReady and the LW's Grognak (same ask)

A Salvaged Night
Mountain x fem!reader
Summary: Mountain comes home after a long day of band practice to find you in the kitchen making dinner. Things go slightly awry, but you make the most of your night together.
Warnings: comfort fic to smut, reader has some negative feelings about self, established relationship, knotting (cause who do you think I am?), PIV, oral both receiving, praise kink I guess, unprotected sex, use of tail, a little bit of aftercare
Word Count: 2.7k
Note: This got off track a little but that's what I get for not having a plan when I start writing. This is my first time writing smut so be gentle. If I missed any warnings please let me know. I forgot to write this in my last post but minors DNI. I want to write more so if you have any ideas you want to share feel free to request them. Hope y'all enjoy.
It had been getting late and Mountain still had not come home from band practice, so you decided to start making dinner for the both of you as a surprise. Pasta had sounded like a good idea at the time, but your time management had gotten away from you, and now the pasta water was nearly boiling over, the sauce was getting everywhere, and the chicken was close to burning. In your frazzled state you did not hear the door open, so when two arms slid around you from behind you almost punched the culprit. Almost.
“Oh my Dark Lord! Mountain,” you exclaimed. “I didn’t hear you come in.” You gave him a swift kiss on the lips, then turned back to the disaster that was supposed to be dinner. You moved the pot with the sauce off the hot burner and onto a vacant one, then moved out of Mountain’s embrace to put the colander in the sink. The kitchen had progressively been getting more smokey, but now the smoke alarm decided it needed to go off that instant. You hated the noise, hated how loud it was. The blaring made you want to crawl out of your skin, and Mountain knew this. While your hands flew to cover your ears, Mountain went to get your headphones, which were never far from where you were. He quickly put them on you, then turned the oven off, took the boiling-over pasta and poured it into the colander, then took the slightly-more-burnt-than-is-acceptable chicken out of the oven. He fanned the smoke detector, which finally relented and stopped blaring.
Naturally, you were now upset. You had wanted to do something nice for your partner but instead had made a mess and had to have someone else clean it up. It seemed like this always happened, but today especially, you were not in the mood. Mountain noticed your distress and came closer to you.
“Can I take these off?” he asked gently as he reached up to your headphones. You nodded, and so the headphones came off. The commotion had finally died down, and now what was left was the mess. A tear had worked its way out of your eye and was now slowly making its way down your cheek. Mountain brushed it away with his thumb, then pulled you into a tight hug, a hug that hit all the right pressure points, the ones he was so good at giving.
“I just… I just wanted… to make dinner for you,” you sniffled. Mountain hugged you impossibly tighter.
“I know, my love. And you did. Nothing is ruined,” he assured you. “We can fix it together, okay?” You nodded, sniffling still. His embrace loosened, but he did not fully pull away. You both turned to the stove, the source of all the previous commotion. “I’m gonna open a window, okay?” Again you nodded. He kissed the top of your head, then went to open the window.
You moved to the stove, made sure all the burners were off, then took the drained pasta and mixed it with the sauce. Once that was done, you moved your attention to the chicken. It was pretty burnt, but there were parts that could be saved. You worked to salvage those pieces, starting to feel a little better about the situation. Mountain came back and stood close to you, offering his help in any way you wanted it.
Once the table was set and the food was on the plates, you began to relax. Both of you sat and began eating dinner, which hadn’t turned out too bad. Finally you were able to focus all your attention on Mountain, and you found that he looked drained and slightly annoyed. Internally you began kicking yourself. How could you have not noticed? Was the dinner debacle to blame? Were you to blame? If so, you wanted to fix it, needed to fix it. You couldn’t stand being the reason the love of your life was annoyed at you.
“Are you alright Mounty? You look kinda drained. I hope the dinner fiasco didn’t cause that. If it did, tell me how I can fix it.” You were starting to grow concerned.
Mountain sighed and shook his head. “No, no, darling, don’t worry about me. Practice was just a lot today. Copia was grumpy, which made Dew grumpy, which then made everyone grumpy. It was just long and irritating,” he explained. “But I'm glad to be home now, with you. Thank you for making dinner. I really appreciate it.” He gave you a soft smile. You returned it, reassured by his words.
“Do you want to watch a movie after this? Your choice,” you offered, in hopes it would brighten his mood. He nodded.
“How about Howl's Moving Castle?” he offered. That was a favorite of both of yours. You smiled and nodded in agreement.
Once you had finished dinner and the dishes were in the dishwasher, you both made your way into the living room. Mountain pulled the movie up while you grabbed extra blankets and turned the lights off. You both got settled on the couch, snuggled together and covered in a questionable amount of blankets.
The movie was good, like always, but your attention was on Mountain. On where his hand was, what his fingers were doing. He was just tracing innocent circles on your thigh, but it was distracting. You mirrored his movements with your fingers on his arm, slowly tracing circles, feeling his warmth underneath your touch. He shifted his hand higher up your thigh. Your breathing became shallow. You shifted your hand slowly down to his stomach, continuing to trace invisible circles. Now it was his turn for shallow breathing. Two could play at that game, you thought.
Your eyes were watching his side profile in the dark, his soft lips and strong nose glowing from the screen. A small smirk played at the corner of his lips. You knew what he was doing. He knew you knew. And you knew he knew what you were trying to do, too. His eyes shifted to look at you from the side, but before they could land on you, you turned your face back to the screen. Out of the corner of your eye you saw his smirk grow.
His hand shifted even higher, taking liberties in exploring your soft skin. Heat was pooling at your core. The couch shifted, and before you knew it, Mountain was leaning in close to your ear.
“You trace once more circle on my stomach and I’ll show you all the things I thought about doing to you while at band practice today,” he growled out in a hushed voice. Your cheeks proceeded to heat, your breath hitched, and your hand stilled. But only for a moment. You turned your head and looked directly at him, your eyes locked onto a set of endless green. And you traced one more circle.
His smile grew, his eyes sparkled with mischief, every sign of him being drained or annoyed from earlier was gone. His lips crashed into yours for an all-consuming kiss. It was messy and wet. His hands came up to cup your face, yours went to his waist to pull him in. Your tongues tangled together, turning from quick and lustful to slow and passionate.
Mountain leaned into you, pushing you down onto the couch. He broke the kiss only to push the blankets that were in between the both of you onto the floor. Now there was nothing between the two of you except your clothes. Your need was growing fast, and you could feel Mountain getting harder between the both of you. You continued to kiss and nibble, but you were growing impatient. You reached down to cup Mountain, giving him a soft squeeze, which granted you a groan.
“Not yet, love,” he murmured against your lips, then pulled your hand away from him. Through kisses and licks and bites, he worked his way down your body, giving special attention to your breasts and love handles. Mountain was obsessed with your body, always wanting to touch it or kiss it or lick it. His happy place was at the altar of your body. He worked your clothes off one article at a time, slowly exposing your skin to the air and his lips. Finally you were naked underneath him, while he was still fully clothed, albeit disheveled.
“Spread these for me, would you?” he asked, taping your thighs. You did as you were told, which rewarded you a long lick up your core. Mountain ate you out like it was his favorite thing to do. Probably because it was one of his favorite things to do. He licked and sucked, using his hand to keep you open for him while the other kneaded your thighs and your breasts and your belly. Occasionally he would groan against you, the vibration only adding to your pleasure. Your release was growing closer, evident by the increased frequency of your moaning and whimpering. Mountain picked up the speed a little, his pace remaining strong and steady. He slipped a finger into you, which earned him a loud moan. He then added a second, which was your undoing.
Pleasure coated every sense, blurring time and space and consciousness. You rode the wave of your release for minutes or hours or days, you couldn’t tell, but when you came back to reality, Mountain was still lapping at you. You pushed him away, oversensitive and blissed out. He chuckled, then relented, kissing your thigh then moving back over you.
He kissed your swollen lips, then moved to your jaw, waiting for you to gain your senses back. Once you could finally see straight, you pushed to sit up.
“Your turn,” you whispered into his ear, a grin playing on your lips. You pushed him into a sitting position, then straddled his hips. While your hands worked to undo the buttons of his shirt, you kissed him anywhere you could. His lips, tasting yourself on them, his nose, his cheeks, his jaw, his neck. You couldn't get enough. Mountains hands roamed over your body, squeezing and kneading and sliding anywhere they could. It was very distracting, but finally you got his shirt off, exposing his long, golden torso to you. Next to come off were his pants. You could feel him hard and ready for you, it seemed almost painful. You kissed your way down his chest and belly, sliding off his lap to in between his legs. Your hands worked fast unbuckling and unzipping his pants. You worked his pants and boxers down his legs, throwing them to the side once they were fully off. Finally he was naked before you, just how you wanted him.
You looked up into the earth ghoul’s endless green eyes to find them blown out with desire. Eyes locked with his, you slowly worked small kisses and bites along his thighs, getting closer and closer to where he needed you. He was already a whimpering, moaning mess, and you hadn’t even touched him yet.
Finally you took him into your mouth, his salty-sweet taste coating your tongue. Both of you moaned at the same time. Not all of him fit in your mouth, so you covered the rest of him with one of your hands. Mountain was restraining himself from touching you, afraid he would snap and hurt you. You would have no such thing. With your free hand you guided one of his hands into your hair, making sure your eyes, still locked with his, were full of reassurance. Slowly you began to move, setting a slow and steady pace. His grip on your hair progressively got tighter, the profanities and groans spilling out of him more frequently.
“Fuck, you look so pretty with my dick in your mouth,” he babbled. “Your mouth is a blessing from Satan, I swear.” His hand was starting to move your head faster, making you take him deeper, nearly gagging on his length. “Fuck, babe, your mouth feels so good. Taking me like the good girl you are,” he breathed. You moaned at his words, which made his grip on your hair even tighter. His pace grew quicker, his release growing closer and closer.
“Wanna put my knot in you,” he ground out. “Need it.” He pulled your mouth away from him, lifting you up to straddle his hips. He brought your lips to his, tasting himself on you, tangling his tongue with yours. Need was building back up inside you. You lined yourself up with him and sank down, his large size stretching you, the perfect amount of pain and pleasure.
Your hands tangled in his hair, his hands gripping your hips for dear life, you began to slowly roll your hips. Mountain let out a long, low moan, a noise that only added to your own arousal. You loved how vocal he was with you. The first time you had experienced him in this way, it had surprised you how much noise he made. The quiet ones always have tricks up their sleeves, you thought. But now you couldn't get enough of his noises. Every grunt and groan and whimper only made you more wet. Mountain knew this, too.
You could feel his knot growing, the pressure building every time you took him fully into you. Both of you were panting and sweaty, the only thing both of you wanted was release. Mountain shifted his hand down to play with your clit, knowing you weren’t as close as he was to finishing.
“Want you to come on my knot,” he whispered. You moaned, picking up the pace, chasing your high. Mountain kissed down from your lips to your jaw to your neck, surly leaving marks. Good, you thought, you wanted everyone to know you were his. Your pace grew sloppy and more urgent, so Mountain took over, gripping your hips hard enough to leave a mark. His tail replaced his fingers on your clit, circling and flicking and teasing. You were close, and so was he.
The pressure from his knot was growing, making it difficult to move. Finally, when you felt so full and stretched by him, you came, hard, screaming his name, along with a plethora of other profanities you don’t remember. Not long after, you felt Mountain tense, his grip on you impossibly tight, and come with your name on his lips. You felt his warm release spill inside you, held in by his glorious knot. You were both breathing hard, fucked out to oblivion, leaning on one another for support.
You came back down sooner than he did, so you just held him and played with his hair until he finally came back to reality. He pulled away slightly to look at you, his eyes half lidded and sated. He tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear, then caressed your jaw.
“Do you need anything, love?” he quietly asked. “Any water or anything?” You shook your head. You didn’t want to move, content with staying where you were. But you wanted to make sure he didn’t need anything either, so you asked the same. He shook his head as well, planted a kiss on your forehead, then snuggled you closer to him.
You watched the rest of the movie like that, tangled in each others arms, til you both nodded off to sleep.

National Canadian Bacon Day
For meat lovers, there’s not much that is better than good old slices of yummy bacon! In sandwiches, fried up on a breakfast plate, served in pancakes, even served with syrup – bacon is the meat candy of the world and has more than its fair share of dedicated fans!
But, then, there are different kinds of bacon to enjoy in different capacities– and one of them is Canadian bacon, as it is known in the United States.
Many people think that Canadian bacon is a little more like ham than actual bacon, because of the way it is served. Made from back bacon and formed into a cylindrical shape, this type of meat is sold ready to eat.
History of National Canadian Bacon Day
According to rumor, Canadian bacon may have once upon a time been known as ‘peameal bacon’. This is because the ham was prepared with brine and then rolled in ground-up dried yellow peas that would extend the meat’s shelf life. The versatility of the product led to it being quite popular and useful, especially for those who were in a hurry to prepare a meaty meal.
Today, Canadian bacon is still cured, but it is usually rolled in yellow cornmeal instead of the dried yellow peas. But the composition of the savory treat remains the same – cut from the loin and served unsmoked in thick, circular slices. This is a leaner cut of pork than standard bacon, making it a slightly healthier choice for those trying to cut down on the amount of fat they eat.
If you were to go to Canada and ask for Canadian bacon, you might be met with a few confused looks. In Canada, it is usually known instead as ‘back bacon’, or simply ‘ham’. If you just asked for bacon in Canada, you would likely receive the same streaky pork belly slices that you’d be used to in the United States.
National Canadian Bacon Day was created in celebration and honor of this tasty, versatile meat from the land that is beloved for ice hockey, maple syrup, and, of course, this type of bacon.
How to Celebrate National Canadian Bacon Day
Celebrating National Canadian Bacon Day brings with it the obvious choice of partaking in a meal that includes (or, better yet, is centered around) Canadian Bacon. Most likely this will be eaten for breakfast, but it doesn’t have to be.
The great news is that even folks who don’t know how to do much cooking can make this simple pork cut into something delectable. Even the most inexperienced of cooks can make a go of it on National Canadian Bacon Day!
Try these ideas for celebrating:
Serve a Canadian Bacon Dish
Canadian bacon is so versatile, there are plenty of recipes you could try your hand at on this day to celebrate this tasty cured meat. Because of the way it is prepared and sold, it is not even necessary to cook Canadian bacon before it is served, either, so it’s excellent for those people who are on a tight schedule.
Or, consider these other simple options for serving up Canadian bacon in honor of the delicious day:
When in a hurry, simply frying up an egg and serving it with a couple of slices of Canadian bacon will be a perfect start to the day.
Or place a slice of this tasty meat into a toasted English muffin with an egg. Add some hollandaise sauce for a super tasty savory treat!
Other delicious options include folding Canadian bacon into omelets easily enough, or chop it into small squares and throw it into a pasta dish.
Those who have a frozen pizza that’s looking a bit sad could also sprinkle on some cuts of Canadian bacon and tomato sauce to really jazz things up and go from boring to wow!
Give a Nod to All Things Canadian
When enjoying the delightfulness of Canadian Bacon, why not take time out to appreciate some other great things that this northern nation has to offer? Canada is known for more than just the obvious ice hockey and maple syrup! It’s a country filled with beautiful landscapes and some of the friendliest people.
Just a few of the things that people love about Canada include:
Clean Air. Due to its natural forests, low population density, as well as a commitment to clean energy, Canada provides some of the cleanest breathing air on the planet.
Scenery. Some of the most beautiful, unadulterated nature in the world lies in this country. From the snow-capped Rocky Mountains to Niagara Falls, from deep forests to sparkling oceanic coasts, this country offers much to be enjoyed.
Diversity. Filled with descendants of immigrants, Canada is a fairly young nation with various languages and cultures that supply it with a rich variety and a welcome feeling.
Get Breakfast at Tim Hortons
While there’s no guarantee that all of the Tim Hortons franchise stores serve Canadian bacon, many of them do have breakfast sandwiches that contain this special meat. Since more Canadians eat breakfast at Tim Hortons than any other restaurant, it seems like the perfect place to soak up some northern exposure.
Tim Hortons locations can be found in North America, Central America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Enjoy Some Canadian Entertainment
While gobbling up a breakfast that includes this yummy cured pork, why not be entertained by Canadians? Some stellar comedians, musicians, and actors hail from here (and they are probably celebrating National Canadian Bacon Day every day!).

Misunderstanding
cw: Y/n being wife material, a shopping session to end the day, Leo and Y/n are the it couple for some reason insert emoji here, a little bit of a heated argument, reader-chan leaves Leo unannounced, Haruki is such a wonderful man ( still defending his boss though)
wc: 2819
gist: Y/n is going to confront Leo about the conversation she overheard when he was in his office. Is he going to tell her the truth or is he going to brush it off because it isn’t about her?
c/s: here you have it the second chapter of this story( the next chapter is already written, I just need to finetune it!)
I no longer run a taglist! If you would like to be updated on my works only, follow @kaedeakeshisworks and turn on post notifications.
Leo is still working, he hasn’t quit his office yet. You’re getting a bit bored here. Perhaps you should go home and sort your life out because the week is starting. Huh! You shouldn’t be thinking about that.
Instead, you check the time on the clock. It's almost one pm. You’re getting hungry so you decide to check the cupboards, see if there is something that can temporarily soothe your hunger. Well some corn crackers, there’s chocolate chip cookies too. I find this odd! He is so fit. Why does he have such items in his flat? That’s none of my business. I don’t live here. Why should I care? Meh, you really want something solid now like… italian flavours in a light meal. Let me think! Pasta? Hell no, postprandial somnolence is going to hit me so hard. I won’t do a single thing throughout the day. Also, my body and my brain do not understand the concept of naps. Instead, I do nap roulette and go to bed with no wake up alarm. Who knows when I will wake up? In three hours or five? It remains a mystery to me. Telling myself I will sleep for forty minutes has only resulted in me waking up in the early morning. Find the problem? It’s me, obviously. Maybe a salad? That is not enough for me. Well, I have to cook for this liar too. Hey, I have to calm myself down jumping to conclusions so fast? I haven’t even confronted him yet.
A jar of sun dried tomatoes, fresh ciabatta bread from the bakery, burrata in the fridge.
A pesto verde jar. A loaded toast would be great! I’ll finely chop some onions and squeeze lime juice on them for a bit of crunch. I’ll make some cucumber matchsticks for a side dish. Water is also needed.
But first, a salad made with lettuce, peach, avocado and some roasted sweet potato. A simple dressing sauce with olive oil, salt, maple syrup and balsamic vinegar with it is a delight.
One for you and the other for him. You plate everything, put it on a tray and head to his office. In front of that door, you wait a little to check if he's no longer on a phone call. Doesn't seem like it's the case. You knock on the door and hear his voice.
"Honey, come in."
He’s so focused on his work. As soon as you put this on his desk, you hurry to leave that room. You know better than to stay there.
"Hi handsome, I got you some lunch. I hope you don’t mind me barging in your work space…"
"Not at all, sweetie. Don’t stay there, come closer."
You go towards him
"Where may I put this?"
He points towards the table facing the sofa
"I’m going to have a break. Would you honour me with your company?"
Do I or don’t I? I shouldn’t be here, I gotta go before my stomach grumbles. Also, I don't want to be with him now. What should I do?
"Y/n answer me, will you?"
"Uh…" Your stomach betrays you by its growling noises.
"I’ll take that as a yes I’ll be back with your food since you brought mine. Please have a seat."
He comes back shortly. Serves you your food, you thank him. He kisses your head and sits facing you on the opposite side of the table.
"Thank you for this wonderful meal. It’s really good. I love the sweet and salty combination especially when it comes to salad."
Congratulating me now! Wow, you are bold. I wonder what his response to my question will be?
"Ah it’s not much, I just whipped up something quite fast!"
“No seriously. Whenever I am fully absorbed into work I tend to forget to do the most basic things such as eating.”
“It can happen sometimes.”
“So…”
“Yes, darling”
I meticulously prepare my lie. Trying my best to sound confident with my words, right?!
“I was wandering through the hallway” you scratch your head “and I overheard you say ‘how is my son going’ on the phone?”
“And?”
Be fucking for real in this moment. Just confirm or deny what I'm asking? Is it that hard?
“Can’t you read the room? Why would I ask you this?”
“Out of curiosity?”
“Don’t you think you have a little bit of explaining to do?”
“Love," he leans back on his seat and sighs before carrying on "if there’s something I need to tell you I will do it in due time. However, I do not recall talking loudly on the phone. So, I take it you were… secretly listening to my private conversation. It’s just a speculation, don’t get offended. If you do and question me then I hit the bull’s eye”
“How dare you, Leo? I did not do that?”
“You’re sure about that. Let me see… Ah you heard the lady’s name, right?”
You avert your eyes. They observe the ficus bonsai plant. You look at it for a good minute. Darn it! I thought I was cautious enough. Was he aware of my movements behind that door? Did I make too much noise? What am I getting stressed about?
Your silence corroborates his suspicion.
“You shouldn’t worry about her. You’re the one I am with and I am obsessed with you if this can reassure anything. She’s a relative of mine so there is no use in hating her or ‘my son’.You’re so cute when you’re angry. I would like to see that side of yours more often. I know how to put it to work.”
You quickly change the topic of this conversation
“Let me take this to the kitchen.”
“No way! Let me do the work. I'll take this, put it in the dishwasher and I’ll call it a day concerning work. We’re going out. I’m going to give you the attention you need. The only thing left for you to do is to go get dressed.”
You go directly to his closet and pick one of his silk button up shirts. You chose a maroon one. Get black high knee boots and let your hair down.
“You look stunning!!”
“Thank you. You don’t look so bad either.”
“You got jokes, huh. C’mon let’s go!”
A skincare shop; your safe haven, numerous smells flood your nostrils and you can try new products.
Oh, body oil and a whole new set for shower and bath routine. I have to check this out.
Skincare shops that let you try their sample products are a must. Of course, sanitising hands before touching my face is necessary. The smell of the store floods your nostrils.
The extensive sort of products never cease to amaze you. A papaya one draws your attention.
The worker informs you that it is a new arrival and it progressively makes success. You open it. Honestly, the smell is divine. It makes your skin shine and they also have body yoghurt for it.You need to get at least two you put in your basket.
“May I please get the whole set for this fragrance twice.”
“Coming ma’am. Is there anything else you would like to have?”
“Not for the moment. If need be I’ll ask.”
“I get it.”
Next comes the argan body oil. Some body butters for a change you get an aloe vera one, honey and the last one is cocoa butter. You pay all this with one of Leonard’s cards.
You got a ton of compliments. Each time those came from men, Leo’s embrace tightened around your waist. You interpreted it as ‘I’m reminding you that you are only mine and I am yours. Don’t forget that’
But when women showered him with praise specifically because he looks like that. You were fuming inside. Bitches, don’t touch what doesn’t belong to you. Girl, you better get your hands off of my man before I start swinging. But he politely declined them, leaving them horrified with his comments
“I already have a wonderful lady by my side as you can see or maybe you don’t since you keep insisting like that. I can’t do women like you: you may ask why? The answer is simple” he leans closer in their ears to disclose the secret
“You simply cannot keep up with my high libido! When you are able to endure a sex marathon, let me know. I’ll gladly call you back. That is if I am on interested in someone else.”
He intently ogles your figure after he's done with his monologue. And he leaves them there, by the way these ladies are often well off and they’re just ten years older than him but he tried it twice. He thought it was better for him not to do it ever again.
"Why is everyone gone?"
"Because I am the one renting the store for two hours. You can get anything you need."
There is one employee mainly attending to your needs, picking up the clothes you tell him to and you also listen to what he has to suggest.
Your eyes spotted the perfect dress.
It's a black spaghetti strap dress with a vertiginous slit that is probably on your hip bone and goes a tad bit up. You have to try this on. It is the dress!
When you enter the dress room, Leo goes after you and sits on the main sofa while you go change.
The first item you tried on was a midnight blue baby doll dress, there wasn’t much shine to it. It enhances your cleavage and makes your legs look superb with the peep toe suede black shoes. Fairly discreet but effective, nice!
You draw the curtain and ask Leo.
“What do you think about this one?”
It takes him a good minute to utter his opinion upon this outfit.
“I think it looks pretty on you but we both know you’re less likely to call it your fave fit.”
“You’re right! I’ll try some more on.”
You draw the curtain back and try on a scandalous pair of jean short shorts. Honestly by the look of it, you’re pretty sure this will leave your buttcheeks without any supervision whatsoever but it doesn’t hurt to try something new? You pair this one with a crochet crop top that leaves nothing to the imagination concerning your pierced nipples. It’s small, you got some underboob hanging but damn it looks good. This fit completed by sandals or mules would be perfect. You’ll get some later.
You draw the curtain again for your eyes to land on him. You do a little slow spin for him to check out what you’re wearing. When you’re done you don’t miss his smirk as well as his change of tone.
“What do we have here?”
You play dumb, he knows exactly what this is about so just say it.
“I don’t know, you tell me.”
“So you wanna play like that…”
“Play what? I don’t get what you’re saying.” You continue “I think this is a great outfit for summer so I’m getting this one.”
His eyes for some reason are still glued on your nips.
“You never informed me you had pierced nipples?”
“You never asked about it so why would I?”
"Behave!"
“Oh!” you giggle “You’re really going to do that here?”
“Do what?”
“Great, keep playing dumb. I like that.”
Next item is a golden tulle peplum dress, adorned with a black belt that highlights your cinched waist. Majestic embroidery on the hem of it. You put your hands on your hips and strike the Josuke Hijikata pose.
"That's a business woman type o’ fit. We’re getting that one!"
"And… my opinion?"
He eyed you up and down. He motioned his left hand for you to do a 180. You oblige. He bites his lower lip. I can't wait to be next to her in that dress. Good Lord, have mercy on me! I don't think I deserve her sometimes.
"I know you like it."
"A little bit."
"You can always grow to like it. We don’t have to get it now. Maybe later when a few important dates come up."
"Yeah, let’s do that!”
This black spaghetti strap risqué-ish dress. Woah. This is trouble. No panties already because of the slit. Let me just see his reaction.
“Uhm… what do you think?”
“Sit on my lap.”
You do. His hand lands on your hip bone and he strokes it, painfully slowly.
“What are you doing, Leo?”
“Nothing honey. I am appreciating the gift before my eyes. Won't you let me?”
“I'm your gift.”
“No underwear too? My goodness, you're a menace.”
“You wanted to see lacy panties?”
No answer for this one. You get up and leave to try the other item. He calls the employee.
“Please, I would like to have the catalogue for this specific dress.”
“I'll bring a copy to you right away. Anything else?”
“I want this dress in cobalt blue and black.”
“Noted and added to your item list, sir.”
This is the last one I'm trying. A strapless trumpet dark olive green dress. I feel like a princess. It's so long, I’d have to pair this with stripper height type heels because the only other option is to get it tailored. Yeah, the last one might be it.
"Here I am."
A little twirl to showcase this lovely dress.
"You look absolutely stunning!"
"I’m getting this one tailored."
"Great idea."
Shopping is done for this you don’t know the cost because Leo insisted that you shouldn’t know. That’s only if I don’t figure it out myself.
In the car
I’m going to stop this semblance of tangible peace. I have to. I won’t back down until I know who she is to Leo.
“So, won’t you tell me who she is?”
“Who are you talking about?”
“Aura? Who else could it be?”
"No, I’m not. It simply doesn’t concern you.”
“Oh, really?”
“Yes, that's between her and me.”
Why is he trying to keep the matter private? I… I thought there were no secrets between us but apparently I am undoubtedly wrong. Where did I sign up for this type of suspicious behaviour? He does not budge one bit when I want to know this person’s identity. What is he trying to hide?
“Want to keep this going?”
“I don’t know what you mean.”
“Oh, yes you do. You. fucking. do. Leo!”
“Why are you making a scene all of sudden, Y/n?”
"It is my legitimate right to."
"This is something out of your control, get over it!"
You know what. Good for you I’m out this shit
Leo leaves the car without looking at you. You can sense he’s over it. Your persistence is something he might not like as of now.
I ain’t changing for nobody. He better tell me who she is before I find it myself.
“Haruki please, take me home.”
“Yes, ma'am. I just have to inform sir Burns that I am doing it.”
He reaches for his phone and looks for Leo’s number in his contacts list. As he is about to press the call button, you stop him from doing it.
Haruki has never experienced someone grabbing his arm in such a way. He looks at your hand and then his eyes make contact with yours. Well, this is definitely something out of his reach yet the least he can do is listen to what you have to tell him.
“Please, don’t! He’ll come looking for me and I don’t want him to. I would like to be alone.”
“Understood.”
You provide him with your address. It’s a short silent car ride of twenty minutes. You’re on your phone checking a few emails you have purposely ignored up until now. You redact them and program them all to be sent by this evening at eight o’ clock. The car finally stops moving. Haruki quits the driver’s seat to open the door for you. But first, he gets your shopping bags.
“Thank you ever so much Haruki.”
“There’s no problem. My pleasure.”
He also gives you his card to let you know you can call him.
“I don’t know what happened between you and the boss but if there’s anything I can do to help you. Please, do not hesitate calling me!”
“That is very sweet of you. Drive back safely, Haruki.”
“I will.”
And just like that he leaves you at your door. You send him a message right away to let him know your number that way he can save it. But you didn’t expect this peculiar message from him.
Ma’am, it is none of my business to interfere between you and the boss but I have to let you know that he doesn’t cheat on women. He is not of that kind. Have a wonderful evening!
Haruki

The Importance of Fresh Produce
To ring in the warmest season, we want to highlight the importance of fresh, clean produce, especially as summer is around the corner which means amazing seasonal variety. Throughout the supply chain process, origins, pesticides used, and contaminants can become present as it convolutes our understanding of where our food comes from. From imported fruits to out-of-season vegetables grown with harmful pesticides like glyphosate, the supermarket is chock-full of delicious-looking produce that hides harmful secrets.
Luckily, eating cleaner is much easier than it seems. Local farmer’s markets are the prime place to shop for locally grown organic, and non-GMO foods. And as they emphasize whole foods, it’s much easier to avoid ultra-processed packaged foods that abound the grocery store. In the summer months in Ohio, farmer’s markets shine as they display the best of what nature around us has to offer — produce that tastes better and benefits your body!
Why Shop at Farmer’s Markets?
Honesty and transparency are major reasons to visit your local farmer’s markets. Farmers grow our foods and maintain the quality of their soil, essential for avoiding things like heavy metal contaminants.
When you visit your local farmer’s market, you have the opportunity to speak with the very people who grow your food. They’re some of the most knowledgeable people around when it comes to learning about fresh food quality and how to prepare delicious summer produce to highlight all its exceptional nutritional benefits and create tasty, hearty meals.
Shopping Smarter
The next time you’re at a farmer’s market, ask your suppliers about how they grow their foods. What breeds and lineages of seeds do they use? Do they test their soil? What organic pesticides do they use? Farmers are more than willing to share what highlights their harvest from the rest of the (clamshell) pack!
Purchasing ingredients can seem tricky when you’re used to eating hyperpalatable, ready-to-eat meals. Recommendations are always something to ask about! Let those summer tomatoes shine in pasta sauces, soups, and halved in salads. Maybe the tartness of non-GMO berries is a bit much for you: farmers are well aware of how to make delicious jams and spreads. If you’re at a dead end, the unique produce at the farmer’s market can be the burst of inspiration you need.
Many farmer’s markets offer various pickling styles that make for a savory treat, and preserving is how humanity has made it into the modern world. Try heirloom grain breads, and establish relationships with vendors to learn more about how you can simplify your shopping routine. Many farms offer delivery and pick-up services outside of regular market hours!
Explore and Expand Your Horizons
Maybe you don’t feel inspired by endless summer sweet corn. It’s no worry: you can always travel throughout the state and county to check out different farmer’s markets. Terroir differs with soil, and our beautiful state is home to diverse natural resources that allow for various kinds of produce to be grown. Heirloom varietals are best preserved at farmer’s markets, so going a little out of your way is recommended: think of it like foraging for farm-fresh produce!
If you want to stay closer to home, here are a few Columbus-based markets that we love and trust:
North Market, which is right by MediZen Institute
Smith Farm Market
HTH Farm Market
Bypassing the Culture of Convenience
It may seem difficult to start cooking from scratch — but it doesn’t have to be. The beauty of farmer’s markets is that the produce is so fresh and gorgeous that it doesn’t have the issues with taste, texture, and blandness that so much ultra-waxed and air-chilled supermarket produce has. Enjoy simple sautés, raw vegetables, and play with saving pickle juice to make delicious sauces and dressings. You can also find a wider variety of meats and eggs at many farmer’s markets to take your culinary talents to the next level. Try cooking healthful, ligament-heavy cuts of meat low and slow with a bunch of root vegetables, greens, and top with fresh herbs.
Another benefit of going to the farmer’s market? You’ll soak up the summer sun and enjoy time outdoors. It’s a welcome break from the fluorescent lighting and repetitive pop music of the grocery store. Give your mind and body the rest and relaxation you need by reconnecting with our roots at your local farmer’s market!

Foods Around Florence, Italy!
From January to May of 2023, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy as a part of Endicott’s stellar study abroad program. During these four months abroad in Florence, I definitely had my fair share of good food. In this review, I go through just a few of the many amazing places I had the opportunity to try during my time abroad and rate them based on three things: food, service, and overall experience. Each restaurant will receive a rating out of five.
Acqua Al 2:
From the blueberry steak to the avocado pomegranate ravioli, any meal you will get at Acqua Al 2 will absolutely exceed your expectations. Acqua Al 2 was one of the first restaurants I went to in Florence and it soon became my most visited. The walls are covered with plates signed by celebrities and people who have visited the restaurant , emphasizing the community that has been built. The range of dishes on the menu means there is something for everyone and one of my favorite parts about this restaurant is their famous pasta sampler which is always a surprise assortment of four different pasta dishes. This allowed me to find my absolute favorite meal, the eggplant mozzarella pasta. This dish was composed of rigatoni pasta tossed in red sauce, pieces of eggplants, and gobs of mozzarella cheese. It was truly an indescribable meal, so much so that I got it every time I went back to this restaurant.
Not only was the food at this restaurant absolutely unmatched, the service was some of the best I have ever had. Everyone who served us at Acqua Al 2 was so kind and considerate, especially since I have a very severe peanut/tree nut allergy. This often was a struggle for me during my time in Italy because of the language barrier, but here I always felt safe and was able to try a lot of the things I wanted to without having to worry. Because of this, I deem Acqua Al 2 to be my absolute favorite restaurant in Florence and I dream of going back one day. I think it is pretty obvious that Acqua Al 2 receives five stars from me. For those who want to visit, Acqua Al 2 is located at Via della Vigna Vecchia, 40/r, Florence, Italy.
All’Antico Vinaio:
When a sandwich shop has a line all the way down the street at each of their four store fronts, you find yourself curious what this place is all about. Before I went abroad, All’Antico Vinaio was definitely the most recommended from people that had been to Florence before. This sandwich shop really is all you can imagine. Meat hanging from the ceiling, fresh bread on the shelves, you know this place is the real deal. The size of the sandwiches, or “paninos” as they call them in Italy, was massive but because they were so delicious you just had to finish every last bite.
After hours (literally) of waiting in line and trying to decide what to get, I finally landed on La Schiacciata Del Boss, which was prosciutto toscano, pecorino toscano, truffle cream. The meat melted in your mouth, the cheese was incredible, and the truffle cream brought it all together. Because it was so busy, the sandwich makers definitely seemed a little bit rushed and not as hospitable as if you were to have an actual waiter, but I didn’t find that this took away from the overall experience. The sandwiches were definitely a little on the pricier side, but for the experience I definitely recommend making this 4/5 restaurant a priority spot. To my surprise, they even opened a location in New York so you don’t have to worry about traveling as far as Europe to enjoy this world renowned sandwich shop. For those who would like to visit, along with locations in Italy (Florence and Milan), there are also six locations in the United States between New York, Las Vegas, and California.
Rivarno Cafe:
Finding iced coffee in Italy is a hard feat, but coming from having a Dunkin iced coffee almost everyday at home I knew I was going to have to find something to take its place. Rivarno Cafe’s lavender latte did just that for me. This latte was one of my favorite things I had while in Florence, so much so that I went almost every day. With actual lavender pieces as a garnish to this absolute divine drink, it filled and exceeded the void of my caramel swirls from Dunkin. Not only was the coffee at Rivarno great, they had a menu full of healthy food options and juices that reminded me a bit of a smoothie shop at home. The vegetable quiche and potato wedges (hard to find in Italy) was my go to weekend breakfast. Since I was such a frequent flier at this tiny cafe, I became close with the workers and they knew my order by heart. Sitting on their patio overlooking the Arno River, drinking my latte with some of my friends are truly some of my most fond memories from Florence. I have tried to replicate the latte to no avail, and because it was my absolute favorite I know I will get back there one day to have it again. Rivarno Cafe gets a 5/5 from me. For those who would like to visit, there are two cafe locations in Florence, one in Piazza di Santa Maria and one in Lungarno delle Grazie.
Trattoria ZaZa:
From the start, I knew I wanted to go to Trattoria ZaZa not only because of its reputation, but also because it is a hotspot for celebrities to visit and this really sparked my interest. A lot of the restaurants in Florence are very small, hole-in-the-wall restaurants but not ZaZa. This restaurant honestly looked like someone's house, as pictures hung on the walls, mismatched furniture everywhere. The menu was comparable to that of The Cheesecake Factory’s, multiple pages long with so many options. There also was a range of dishes from pasta, to meat, to seafood, so there was something for everyone and that’s just what my family and I ordered when we visited. We each ordered something different and shared it so we all got to taste something different. The food at Trattoria Zaza was good, however what really stood out to me here was the dessert. I had probably the best tiramisu I had ever had in my life, and I still dream about it to this day. Some things to note about ZaZa is that it is very hard to get in without a reservation and it is definitely overpriced for the quality of the food, however I would still recommend it, as it is a Florence staple. Because of the busyness of the restaurant, the service wasn’t all that great and it did take us a few tries to get our waiter’s attention. We were left with empty drinks for a bit longer than we would have liked, so this takes away a few stars from me. In all, I would give Trattoria ZaZa 3.5/5 stars, and would definitely say just go to experience their incredible tiramisu. For those who would like to visit, Trattoria ZaZa is located in the Piazza del Mercato Centrale.
Loggio Rooftop Bar:
If you’re looking for somewhere to have unique drinks, great appetizers, and see the entire city of Florence, Loggio Rooftop Bar is definitely the place to go. This rooftop bar is at the top of Hotel Palazzo Guadagni and has an incredible view of the city, making it a hotspot. It took me a very long time to secure a reservation here, and I was able to during the week that my family was visiting. Their menu consists of craft cocktails and bite size dishes like cheese plates, hummus and pita, or even something as simple as an assortment of olives to snack on. The cheese plate was such a simple dish, but one of my favorite things I had in Florence. The cheeses were so fresh and it came with jam and honey to put on the cheese, which I had never done before. The drinks at Loggio were also exquisite, the paloma being one of my favorites. I think this is a great place to sit and hang out, however because of the high volume of people wanting to get in, we did feel a bit rushed to get in and get out. Because of this I give Loggio Rooftop Bar a 4/5, but I do still dream of that cheese plate. As mentioned above, Loggio Rooftop Bar is located on top of Hotel Palazzo Guadagni for those who would like to visit.
Gelateria dei Neri:
Italy is known for their gelato, and Florence certainly did not disappoint in this department. There was a surplus of gelaterias, and let’s just say we tried our fair share of them during our 4 months in Florence. This was something we did not take lightly and we ranked all of the places we visited, Gelateria dei Neri coming in first place. This gelateria had so many different flavors from every fruit sorbet imaginable to rich chocolatey flavors. This made it pretty hard to pick, however my favorite ended up being one called cookies. It was a mix of tiramisu cookies and oreo swirl. Another reason I gave Gelateria dei Neri the first place spot was because the servers were so great about my allergy. This was really hard to find with gelato places because most servers could never guarantee that there was no cross contamination. Because of this, there were a few places I was not able to try but Gelateria dei Neri was so great, I give them a 5/5. For those who would like to visit, Gelateria dei Neri is located on Via dei Neri in Florence.

Mew: talk about your first pokémon!
Technically, Delphine was the first pokemon that was/is really mine. The pokemon I lived with growing up belonged to my parents. Delphine is an excellent cuddly girl; if she sees you lying down or sitting, she'll climb on you and snuggle, which can sometimes be an issue since she's so big now.
Celebi: what is one thing you wish you could tell your past self?
I wish I could go back and tell my younger self everything will be all right.
Jirachi: if you could have one wish (and no wishing for more wishes!), what would it be?
I'd wish for more money -- as selfish as that may sound -- so I could afford a nice big rural property and all the pokemon I could want.
Deoxys: what trait do you have in front of some people but not others?
At work, I am professionally helpful and friendly. Everywhere else, I'm more naturally casual.
Phione: what do you think about your hometown?
New Tork is an extensive and diverse place. It's got its bad parts and its great ones. I wish I could live somewhere else after being here my whole life so far, and I'm trying to figure out how to manage that. Don't take that to mean I dislike New Tork. I don't. I'd just like a change in scenery, y'know?
Manaphy: talk about your bonds with your pokémon!
I love my gals, and they love me. I think I've done a decent job with them because they're loyal and protective of me.
Darkrai: talk about something you are afraid of!
I'm always afraid of making the wrong life choice and ending up broke and, at worst homeless.
Shaymin: what are you grateful for?
I'm grateful I could pull myself together when I was younger enough to handle having a job and being self-sufficient despite my autism and anxiety disorder -- both diagnosed, by the way.
Arceus: are any spiritual or religious rituals vital to you?
Well, I'm loosely spiritual, as I've said before. I don't really follow any doctrine, though. So I guess not?
Victini: talk about a significant personal victory or triumph!
Successfully moving out from under my dad's thumb and becoming independent.
Keldeo: talk about a belief you feel very strongly about!
People should adopt pokemon from shelters or rescues or buy them from breeders more often instead of catching them wild.
Meloetta: what kind of music do you like?
A little bit of everything, but primarily rock/metal!
Genesect: what is something you still have after a very long time? How has it changed?
My stuffed toy mabosstiff, Beethoven, who I've had since I was like three years old. He's significantly worn, and his coloration has darkened, but I still love him dearly and keep him on a special shelf along with my other knickknacks.
Diancie: talk about something you think is beautiful!
I love Galarian ponyta and rapidash! They're just so gorgeous and mystical.
Hoopa: what is something you really, really want for yourself?
A romantic partner worth marrying.
Volcanion: what is something that makes you mad?
Abuse of people and pokemon, willful ignorance, and bigotry.
Magearna: talk about something you have made yourself!
I'm not the best cook, but I like making fideo noodles with chorizo meat, red pasta sauce, and mixed-in seasoning. Sound boring? Too bad!
Marshadow: talk about something you learned from someone else!
I don't know if learning from people's messages on the Internet counts as this, but I've learned things just from being online.
Zeraora: what is something you have protected or is important to you to protect?
Myself and my gals. They've protected me, too. I am not very assertive most of the time, so it can be challenging to stand up for myself.
Meltan: how do you express affection for someone?
Usually verbally, less often physically, with hugs.
Melmetal: talk about a legend or story you like!
I really like the tale of shaymin in Sinnoh.
Zarude: how are you with children?
I'm not that great, especially with small kids. The older I become, the less easy it seems to me to imagine myself being a parent...

CHEF ILONA: Creamy Kimchi Pasta
A hearty slurp of noodles is a satisfying experience, especially when the noodles have just the right amount of sauce. I’ve enjoyed slurping noodles both in Europe and in Asia over the years, and I got to thinking it would be a tasty endeavour to sync up the flavour pantries. Something delicious is bound to come up; right? The base of the sauce is what you would expect in a creamy, garlicky, Italian noodle dish which is punctuated with Parmesan cheese. Flavour depth is continued through the addition of pork belly, kimchi, and enoki mushroom which are popular, if not foundational in the Korean ingredient pantry.
Kimchi, classically speaking is a spicy, fermented cabbage dish. In addition to the cabbage, chilies, green onions, garlic, and fish sauce often make up the balance of the recipe. Kimchi’s history in South Korea is expansive, dating back more than two millennia. Kimchi is an excellent probiotic containing the same lactobacilli bacteria found in fermented dairy products like yogurt. The other main vegetable component in the dish is enoki mushrooms. Enoki mushrooms are a form of edible mushroom that grows in alabaster clusters of thin, branchlet-like stems with minutarized convex caps. Their flavour is fruity, with a slightly earthy taste. Enoki mushrooms also possess the unique ability to remain relatively crunchy even when cooked. These whimsical fungi can be eaten raw in salads, pan/stir-fried, or added into stews and soups. Enoki mushrooms are a good source of b-vitamins, protein, and fibre. I have also made use of the Korean chili paste-gochujang in this recipe to add additional richness to the colour of the dish while also upping the ante of the spice level. Please feel free to omit this ingredient or swap some sriracha in its place.
This recipe is meant to be enjoyed right when it is made and does not freeze well.
Creamy Kimchi and Pork Belly Pasta Chef Ilona Daniel Serves 4
1 lb cooked spaghetti, with 1 cup of pasta water reserved
1 ½ cup pork belly, slivered
150-gram package enoki mushrooms, root end removed, washed, and separated into small clusters
4 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced thinly
1 cup kimchi, chopped
1 cup whipping cream
*1 Tbsp Gojuchang~~optional, I add it to deepen the colour of the sauce (Korean Chili paste)
1 cup Parmesan, finely grated
½ cup green onion, chopped
Bring a pot of water to boil and season with salt. Add spaghetti pasta and boil until al dente according to package directions.
Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, and strain pasta immediately.
In a skillet set over medium heat, sauté the pork belly 2 minutes, or until just golden.
Add kimchi, garlic slices and enoki mushrooms to the pan and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add noodles to the pan along with the cream, and half of the water. Simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.
Stir in all but 1 tablespoon of the green onion (save for garnish), gochujang (if using), and the parmesan. If the sauce becomes too thick, add in a little bit more of the pasta water until your desired consistency is achieved.
Garnish with more parmesan and remaining green onion.

Step-By-Step Guide To Reheating Spaghetti Bolognese
Spaghetti bolognese is a firm number one in families the world over.
Also, what's not to adore about this delectable, substantial, tomatoey dish?
All things considered, frankly, it very well may be interesting to warm.
Especially as warmed pasta has a propensity for turning soft.
In any case, the uplifting news is, that after a little trial and error, I've chosen three methods for warming spaghetti bolognese without forfeiting its quality.
I made a major bunch of spaghetti bolognese a few evenings ago, proposing to save a few extras for my warming tests.
In the wake of putting away it in the cooler short-term, I attempted at least one or two warming strategies prior to choosing my top picks.
Heat the sauce and pasta independently: For spaghetti and a wide range of pasta, warming is unquestionably simple. Empty the pasta into a pot (this one is ideally suited for it) loaded up with bubbling water and let it rest for 2 minutes. For the sauce alone, you have three techniques: Move the sauce to a pot and intensity it on the fire. Put it on a microwave-safe plate. Add a tablespoon of skimmed milk, stock, or water. Microwave in 90-second stretches, stopping to mix. These strategies work perfectly. You can add another fixing to season your spaghetti bolognese of the day; We will see it in the Bit by bit segment.
Heat together the spaghetti bolognese Place the spaghetti in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 90-second spans, in the middle between. Move the spaghetti to an ovenproof dish and cover well with aluminum foil. Heat stove to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat the spaghetti for around 15 minutes. By following the above you will obtain incredible outcomes, yet there is something else to do. Look at our bit by bit manual for eating the most delicious spaghetti you've at any point tasted.
The strategies Step-By-Step Guide To Reheating Spaghetti Bolognese:
On the oven (best for revitalizing flavor) In the microwave (advantageous, with fair outcomes) In the stove (really great for enormous bits) I really love the oven strategy on the grounds that, while a brief period consuming, you can add to, and enhance, your pasta's flavors.
The microwave is totally reasonable for warming single segments in a rush.
What's more, concerning the stove technique, I was content with the outcomes, yet it takes more time and can make your pasta somewhat dry.
Warming spaghetti bolognese on the oven
Warm a touch of spread in a pot or dish on medium-low intensity on the oven. Add your bolognese and a tablespoon or two of fluid (milk/water/stock) to disperse the sauce. Mix periodically as the pasta warms to guarantee in any event, warming. Once hot, eliminate from the oven and serve.
Assuming that you're warming your sauce and pasta independently, first warm the sauce until it's hot and afterward eliminate it from the intensity.
Add your pasta and permit the combination to represent a little while prior to serving. The lingering warmth from the sauce will warm your pasta.
Step by step instructions to warm spaghetti bolognese on the oven: Soften some margarine in a pot or container on medium-low intensity. Add your bolognese with a tablespoon or two of fluid like milk, water, or stock. As your pasta heats up, mix it once in a while to guarantee even intensity conveyance. Eliminate it from the oven once warm and serve. Warming your extra spaghetti bolognese on medium-low intensity will keep it from overcooking and turning your noodles delicate and soaked.
Add more fluid on a case by case basis in the event that you notice your spaghetti sauce is drying out.
Prior to presenting your feast, you can add some cheddar, garlic, or spices for an additional pop of flavor.
My decision This procedure functions admirably, despite the fact that you want to screen and mix your dish while warming it.
What I enjoyed most was that I could undoubtedly add additional flavors (spices, garlic) to make my spaghetti bolognese taste new.
If you have the opportunity and need to warm a sizeable part, I'd suggest utilizing this strategy.
Warming spaghetti bolognese in the microwave
Place a piece of spaghetti bolognese in a microwave-safe dish and add a tablespoon of water, milk, or stock. Cover the dish with a sodden paper towel, cling wrap, or a top. Heat on medium (half power) in 30-second stretches. Mix at each stop. Once warm, rest briefly prior to serving.
Assuming your sauce and pasta are discrete, you can warm the sauce without anyone else.
When it's warm, include the pasta and zap it in the microwave for 3-5 seconds prior to serving.
As with the burner technique, lingering heat from the pasta sauce will warm the spaghetti.
The most effective method to warm spaghetti bolognese in the microwave: Place the bolognese in a microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle over a modest quantity of water/milk/stock to add dampness. Cover the dish with a sodden paper towel, a top, or a piece of saran wrap with openings. Heat your pasta in 30-second additions on medium intensity (half power). Mix the bolognese at every span. Once warm, rest briefly prior to serving. Covering the dish traps in steam and forestalls an excessive amount of dampness from getting away.
Mixing your extras at every span will guarantee in any event, warming.
Assuming it begins to dry out, go ahead and add more fluid until your sauce arrives at the right consistency.
My decision This strategy conveys great outcomes, and I can't blame its speed and comfort.
It would be my go-to strategy in the event that I were simply warming a speedy part for myself.
That being said, it turns the sauce a piece watery.
In the event that I were heating up spaghetti for a couple of individuals, I'd prefer pick a technique where I could add additional flavor (like the oven strategy).
Warming spaghetti bolognese in the broiler
Preheat your broiler to 350°F (180°C). Spread out your extra spaghetti bolognese on a baking plate. Add a tablespoon or two of fluid (water/milk/stock) and mix through. Cover the dish with foil and warm for 10 minutes. Eliminate from the broiler and serve right away.
Assuming your pasta and sauce are independent, follow the above strategy to just intensity the sauce.
Once hot, add your pasta and permit to represent a little while to heat up prior to serving.
The most effective method to warm spaghetti bolognese in the stove: Preheat your stove to 350°F (180°C). Spread extra spaghetti out on a baking plate. Blend in a tablespoon or two of milk, water, or stock. Cover the plate with foil. Warm in the broiler for 10 minutes. Eliminate and serve right away.
Covering the baking plate with foil secures in steam and keeps your spaghetti from drying out something over the top.
To add a pop of flavor, take a stab at adding some ground cheddar throughout the previous couple of moments of the warming system.
You may likewise have to include a touch of additional fluid on the off chance that it begins to look dry.
My decision This technique is somewhat on the sluggish side however conveys great outcomes.
There is a possibility drying out the pasta sauce, however this can be forestalled by adding additional fluid.
I'd prescribe utilizing the broiler to warm bigger segments of spaghetti bolognese.
Instructions to warm plain spaghetti To warm plain spaghetti, you can sauté it over medium intensity in a little water on the oven. Mix the pasta in the prospect to 3 minutes or until warm as you would prefer. For less immediate intensity, basically dunk your extra pasta in steaming hot water for a couple of moments until it's warm.
On the other hand, place some extra spaghetti in a microwave-safe bowl with a sprinkle of olive oil.
Cover the bowl with cling wrap (punched with holes) and warm on medium intensity for 30 to 60 seconds, mixing midway.
Olive oil forestalls amassing.
Both of these techniques will work perfectly assuming you've put away your spaghetti bolognese parts independently and you're stressed that your extra sauce won't be sufficient to warm your pasta.
The most effective method to store spaghetti bolognese
To store spaghetti bolognese in the refrigerator, first cool it to room temperature. Then, at that point, move your extras into an impenetrable holder. Utilize a glass compartment, if conceivable, to forestall staining. Seal the holder and store it in the ice chest for as long as 4 days.

Relationship status: it is also a long distance relationship and im polyamorous
Favourite Colour: i do not have one but like. idk i like the tones of jade, amber, and i like purple.
Song stuck in my head: i dont have one rn but the most recent was aint no sunshine.
Last song I listened to: uhh i dont remember what was playing on the radio while we were driving home but the last song i intentionally listened to was still alive.
Three favourite foods: i dont really have a favorite or even like a priority for top three favorites. but like idk i love seared salmon, i. hm. well i like breaded chicken but its not like my favorite its just kinda my go-to because its easy. similar with mac n cheese. theres a lot of *specific* sandwiches i love but i dont tend to make sandwiches for myself and theyre kinda diverse wrt fillings. i like barbecue chicken pizza but it is nothing incredible. i like pasta with butter/cream/cheese based sauces.
Dream trip: uh unlike kwarrtz i havent really traveled that much just like. visiting family basically. id like to hang out with a lot of people of course but as far as locations. well i am like, a bizarre human being. idk. im just not that allured by travel to places! part of this must be that my surroundings in general have not tended to be that beautiful + i have not Explored very much in quite a long time. like, if i made it a hobby to look for beauty in the environment around me outside i would likely have a stronger desire to see new places. as mentioned hang out with people, got plenty of european friends that itd be cool to visit. maybe for places i could pick somewhere that has nice museums, since i do have a real urge to see beauty in art. so that’d be a motivation. i should check out where pieces from the early 20th century russian avant garde are.
Anything I want right now: welllll i have like. a weird brain as mentioned. so it’s hard for me to prioritize something to put here. and a lot of hypotheticals are like inaccurately ranked in terms of ‘realness’. like it genuinely feels equally silly to talk about ‘i want to have my brain work properly and be able to get stuff done’ as to talk about ‘i want magic powers’. which is a bit silly in of itself. uhh, money is cool but as mentioned like dreaming for a million dollars seems equally fake to dreaming for magic powers. of them though i mean magic powers would obviously be the best to get but i think it’s most appropriate for the question to say that i would like to have better executive functioning (as in, better attention control, working memory, task switching, cognitive inhibition, and impulse control). oh and maybe jbt can have little a emotional management, as a treat.
tagging: genuinely i hate this. like i really actually hate doing this. i hate both leaving people out and i hate bothering people especially about something as meaningless and banal as this especially because these are often kinda annoying + the person who was tagged could have like a guilty conscience for ‘ignoring’ me tagging them. and to pick an immediate method that can reduce the sense of like, having actively excluded people, im checkin the most recent people i messaged in tumblrs messager. but thats like, 1 valid person, then a bunch of people who already were tagged through the chain of tags that resulted in me being tagged, then two people i dont know enough to feel comfortable tagging in something like this because itd be like invasive almost, then more already tagged people, deleted account, more tagged people, an artist i follow who seems generally like a bit socially reclusive and with whom im not really friends. like i got basically 1 valid pick. so i am not doing that because that’d be like insanely singling out. so yeah im not gonna tag anyone here

If you can afford to buy in bulk it can be cheaper in the long run. Dried and frozen goods are generally cheaper because they have less shipping requirements and a long shelf life.
Frozen fruit especially because fresh fruit bruises easily and can quickly go bad. In my experience blueberries and mangoes taste the best while still being frozen while other fruits are tasteless if still frozen, although mangoes can be hit and miss quality wise sometimes. If you have the opportunity to buy a large amount of blueberries or something for cheap because they are in season at your local farms then you can freeze them yourself and not worry about them going bad.
Some good frozen veggies are green peas (as mentioned), carrots, corn, onions, broccoli, and spinach. An important note for frozen veggies is that the freezing process breaks apart the fibers and internal structures of the plant nearly the same way that boiling does. Meaning that frozen stuff will finish cooking MUCH FASTER than fresh stuff, so maybe add it in near the end of a recipe.
Dried foods include not only rice and noodle varieties but also beans, lentils, and oats. Instant mashed potatoes are incredibly cheap and make a great soup base. Dried beans are much cheaper than canned beans but take some planning to prepare. There's also dried mushrooms that only need some soaking. If soups are your thing then I suggest getting egg noodles, really cheap, won't degrade in liquids, and will make any soup about a million times more interesting.
You have to pay attention to storage methods when keeping a large amount of dried goods because pantry pests can easily become a problem. Good storage containers can be pricey BUT there are usually perfectly good food storage containers you throw out all the time without even thinking about it. All those glass jars from jams and pickles and pasta sauce? Wash and keep them! Especially the big ones!! Mice can chew through a plastic container with enough determination but not glass, just make sure the glass and lid itself are thoroughly dry before using them. If you know you don't have a mouse problem then solid plastic containers will keep out most insects, like say a plastic milk jug (a bit thin) or a big plastic jar from bulk protein powder (thicker and more durable). Containers that were purchased already containing food should already be food storage safe, don't use just any old plastic storage box for food. Prioritize putting grains into these containers because those are what common pests are most interested in.
Do not refrigerate or freeze fresh tomatoes, ever. They will become completely tasteless. Buy canned if you want cheap and storable tomatoes.
Carrots are a root vegetable that will convert starches to sugars when exposed to frost conditions, so if you stick them in that spot in your fridge that always freezes things, or put that thing you want to thaw from the freezer on top of your carrots to get them a little frosty, you get carrots that are sweeter and make a great treat.
Save your pasta water as it has a lot of calories in it, it's a great soup or sauce base. Recipes that ask for water you can use pasta water instead. You can save pasta water by removing long noodles directly from the water with tongs or smaller pastas using a scooping spoon with drainage holes. Pour pasta water from the pot into container and fridge it if not used immediately.
Mayonnaise can be a good cooking oil substitute if you have some leftover or nearing its expiration date. It will lose the mayonnaise flavor after being cooked so don't worry about that. Baking potatoes with mayonnaise is a good recipe. It can also substitute in for eggs in some baking recipes.
Rice does not have to be made plain. In fact, cooking rice is the perfect opportunity to clean out the dregs from your condiment and sauce containers. Put water into nearly empty condiment bottles, seal, shake, and instead of pouring the rinse down the drain use it for cooking rice instead of plain water. Use up the leftover salsa and pasta sauce, use that weird sauce that someone gifted you ages ago but haven't had the courage to use, use multiple different types of stuff if you think the flavors would mix well together. Use your judgement of course, idk if barbecue sauce rice would taste good but that may be just because I don't like that flavor. I recently made rice with half the water replaced with leftover olive pickle brine and it was quite tasty, even family members that don't usually like to eat rice were interested.
A salad made from fresh produce is more expensive than a soup made from the same, though frozen, ingredients. And the soup will be equal or more nutritious while likely tasting better. Cooking foods also means your body spends less energy breaking it down.
Psst. Anyone got any good recipes for cooking on a budget? Resources on effective meal-planning are also welcomed.

“You.”
“Me.”
The huff is visible in the cold night air, glowing neon-bright against the club sign.
“Why am I not surprised to see you?”
“I don’t know. Why aren’t you surprised to see me?”
He thinks he’s so funny, doesn’t he. “Well, I suppose one’s childhood tendencies to follow their rival everywhere don’t really—”
“Oh, get over yourself. Pansy invited me.”
Eyebrows arch in surprise. “Pansy. Invited you. To their performance.”
“Yep, so, if you don’t mind, you’re sort of blocking the door…”
“Wait—” He follows him inside, barely even breathing, heart thumping to the electric beat and head fuzzy with smoke. “Bloody hell.”
*
“—You?”
“Me…” he leans his head on the sofa, eyes open wide. “Do you mean, if I could do anything in the world? Anything at all?”
“Yes. Anything.”
The flat smells like beer and sweat, like the party wasn’t over, but it’s just the two of them now, dreaming to the moonlight filtering through the blinds. “I don’t really know.” It hurts a little to admit, especially to these eyes, to that soft-soft smile he only recently discovered. But a hand reaches forward, softly stroking his hair.
“It’s okay. You don’t have to know anything right now.”
“But you do.”
“Well, I always have been one step ahead.” Bright laughter sends through his heart, luminous even in the dark. Was it always like this, and he’s somehow just… missed it?
“I like this. Whatever—this is. With you.”
The confession is just a whisper between them, until the hand slides to gently touch his face.
“Me too.”
A deep sigh. Where’s all his courage, now? Come on.
“Bloody hell,” he whispers, and dives forward.
*
“You—”
“Me!” an indignant gurgle follows the spill of wine. “You sure have some nerve, going on as if it were my fault!”
“Because nothing’s ever your fault, is it? Because I’m always the one who has to...”
The remains of what had been a lovely date decorate the floor, flowers trampled, surrounded by shards of crystal.
“This was a mistake. I never should have… what a stupid mistake.”
“Wait, you can’t just—”
The door slams.
“—Leave.”
The candlelight flickers.
“Bloody hell,” he murmurs to the empty room.
*
“You…”
“Me!” the laughter roars in his ears, and something clicks back into place in the turmoil that used to be his gut. “You should have seen your face. I can’t believe our friends pulled… god, what a mess, isn’t it?”
“I’d say.”
There’s hesitancy in the hand reaching from the fire, but none in him taking it, only relief. And some pleading, perhaps.
“Come over for dinner? I made pasta. Your favourite sauce.”
“Mm. Not just a comedian, are you.” He counts the seconds before his fate is sealed; three, two… “All right. One dinner. Why not.”
“Bloody hell,” he agrees with a smile.
*
“You.”
“Me?”
Their hands clasped together, teary eyes chasing teary eyes.
“Of course, you ninny. I thought it was obvious.”
“Do you really—”
The air smells of lavender in the sunlight and of spring and of ever-nearing hay-fever, and the sky’s the clearest blue. The hand in his is warm, a bit sweaty. He presses a kiss to its back.
“Yes. Really. You, you, you.”
He keeps saying it, chanting, praying it as a warm body crawls on top of his, and the view of the sky is replaced by the face he loves, a worthy sacrifice.
“For me, as well. You.”
“Bloody hell,” he grins, heart beating so fast he’s dizzy, head fuzzy with happiness, “what a surprise.”
