thinking about pokémon AU again... this following exchange is operating under the assumption that most of the canon parties are living together in a PLA-style village where they are reliant on Pokémon for food and materials

Kabru, walking into Laios' workshop (of sorts): Laios, we need to t- what are you doing?

Laios, looking up from his work: oh! Kabru! Hi. I'm skinning a Bibarel.

Kabru, resisting the urge to say 'I can see that': mmhm, but why?

Laios: if we want to be warm in the winter, it's good to add their fur to stuff before they start retiring to their lodges. Bibarel fur is the best! Better than the meat actually in my book. It keeps you really warm and dry! Here, feel *grabs his arm*

Kabru internally: I absolutely do not want to feel it!

Kabru, feeling it: ... huh. It is really soft actually. Good texture

Laios: ^^ See!

Kabru: Could you possibly make me something with the fur? If it's not too much trouble, of course.

Laios: oh, this one is for you already! I forgot to say that.

Kabru: wow, Laios, that's really touching-

Laios: because you're all bony, you need it more than me, so I'm doing yours first. ^^ You know, you kinda remind me of a Bellsprout! I've been thinking that lately

It seems my planetary welfare course is fighting the harmful "noble savage" sterotype by uh... saying that the savages were never noble at all! Humans were always harmful and causing irreparable damage to our environment actually. It's really trying to hammer in that humans have caused hundreds of extinctions ever since we evolved and everywhere we went which is definitely a take I'm not sure how to feel about

Whump idea that I hope is original:

a whumpee who used to be invincible feeling pain/being injured for the first time. Not only is it physical whump, but they must be terrified at this strange new sensation and being truly in danger for the first time. Bonus points if whumper relishes in their terror and taunts them about it.

i just want a cozy farming survival sim but u play as a beaver

(and it's not a bunch of personified construction beavers like a civ game. u are just a beaver)

It's a third-person game, and u can swim around ur made ponds well but are slow on land

u start of building up ur own dam in a small stream. being weary of predators and also ur stamina/food

It's slow going, but u meet other beavers along the way. the damnslowly gets built, stick by stick, pebble by pebble

seasonal cycle much like farming games but its u just storing food up for winter

u get a taste for wood and ur other companion beavers also have their preferences

Decorating ur Lodge (during winter most likely)

There are other animals in the area u can talk to, befriend, or scare away

u gotta dig ditches and stuff to get to more of forest areas if u wanna expand more.

its a grindy brain empty game and ur just living ur life as a beaver

sound mechanics where u r v aware of Running streams (incase ur dam needs reparing), tree sounds so they dont fall on u while ur eating, possible predators etc

work with other beavers so u can lessen work load like doing dam repairs or lodge building/expansion/repairs

random events like new visitors (friendly and not so friendly) or even wildfires

Im just... I was watching a beaver video and I genuinely was surprised for all the living habits and stuff they do, no one has thought to do a cozy grindy game abt em thats not civ like. they have like all the staple farming sim stuff. A Home, an area, and a whole bunch of shit to do before winter/year end.

Favorite Season 10 running gags:

- Juandissimo delighted by physical contact every time Wanda hits him.

- Chloe's swears getting censored.

- Chloe's middle names change every time someone says them. One of them is Mother Goose and another is Sea Biscuit.

- Chloe calling Timmy to tell him everything's gone wrong, to which Timmy laughs and hangs up on her (or alternatively slams a door on her).

- Chloe and Timmy's Dad start out fond of each other and morph into just... hating each other. I've always headcanoned her as Dinkleberg's niece, so I think that's funny.

- In fact, Timmy hates Chloe's parents and Chloe hates Timmy's parents.

- Chloe got fawned over by many people (including Crocker) in the first half of Season 10, but when Crocker fawns over his nephew, Chloe goes bananas. She only hates the favoritism when it stops happening to her and we love her for it, sdklfsj...

- Kevin spends one episode pretending to be a puppet. In two others, people think he died. He only has 4 episodes. Impeccable.

- Crocker screaming in fury about his mother's love life. He has to watch his best friend (Dark Laser) flirt with her.

- Chloe breaking into buildings. Usually people's houses, but also exclusive clubs.

- Chloe starts out as a goody two-shoes, but her final scene of the series is nailing Crocker's bed to the ceiling.

Something I think only children miss out on is the absolute bullshit levels of mind fuckery siblings will go through. Was just thinking about once a week we got to take turns picking out a box of Little Debbie snack cakes, and I quickly learned if I bought the peanut butter wafer bars my siblings hated I could in fact enjoy the entire box to myself. Did I love the cookies? No. They were clearly not good. But they were mine.

I hope this is good! I don't really know anything about Attack on Titan, but this character's wiki mentioned food being a big thing for her, particularly potatoes, so I tried to theme it around that.

Isopod time. there was a BABY EXPLOSION and they're EVERYWHERE. I can't wait to see how they'll look as they grow.

The gravid ladies Blondie, Peanut Butter, and a very yellow calico who i'll call Butter were recently moved to their own tub because i'm especially interested in their babies. Butter had her babies so she's back in the main tub again.

I couldn't find Peanut Butter for days and was scared that she died, but where could she go in a bin with 1 other pod?! But today i desperately opened a piece of wood that I saw a hole in and THERE SHE WAS (pic 2). Was she in there that whole time!! Don't do that again!
