I finally got around to fixing up the tiny puppy who I got for 9 cents at a thrift store. i removed what was left of the tag, sewed up the holes in the face, trimmed fur around the left eye, sewed a closed eye where the right one is missing, and added a button nose. their name is now Button and i hope theyre feeling much better!!

now that i have moved into my apartment, i can set up all my knick knacks together, and for the first time, a little altar too! on the bottom right i placed my bag of runes, and dragon candleholder.

and today i went to my first renaissance fair, which was awesome! i searched through every shop with necklaces until i finally found a mjolnir pendant that i liked. i also got a knife with dragons on it that makes me think of Jormungandr, so i have placed that by the altar too.

i hope Thor and Jormungandr can get along just well enough, because they are my favorites right now and I have trinkets for both of them up there.

it's him!!! he's been at the antique store for over a year and every time i would visit i'd give him a big hug, but he cost a tad more than i'd like to pay for. an old Vermont Teddy Bear with 1984 on the tag.

around Christmas i almost got him, but changed my mind at the checkout. after that i never saw him again, and i thought he'd been bought by someone else. i should've known how much i'd miss him cuz i checked where he used to be every time hoping he'd magically return.

but today, he did! he must have been in limbo after i changed my mind on buying him, and he was moved to another booth. but it's definitely him! and i finally bought him. hello to... Oatmeal!

Recently I found Magic to accompany Scorch <3 they are meant to be together. Magic has floppy neck, which I could do surgery to fix sometime, but for now she has a neck brace. They are having a great time relaxing with my other dragon plushies, and looking for the signs of spring.

today my partner and i went to a big flea market and i got this guy, from a brand called Fat Dragons, for just 5 dollars! he is so cute and sweet to me, i think I'll call him Bubblegum. then he came with us on our journey through a wetlands trail :))

i'm so thankful for everyone in FR tumblr community. everyone drawing and writing, and RBing other people's creations and leaving nice comments in the tags. doing fat dragon friday and other fun dragon appreciation stuff like snapper sunday and tundra tuesday. doin raffles and selling dragons and even just sending gifts to people sometimes. RBing "dragon therapy" posts and sharing nice dragons to help people feel better. everyone so nice. ilysm.

Zhao just dropped these "azuma-jikin" which i assume are a cross between an oranda and a jikin. i find them quite endearing, and i love their robust shape (nicer than his jikins' shape imo) and fun colors. my favorites are the bronze, the red-faced sakura, and especially the last one which is a singletail.
