Wen Qing’s figure wobbled. The ‘rest’ as compared to the ‘living’ could only be the ‘dead’. The inspectors quickly replied, “That’s not the way to talk. Although it’s all Wen cultivator’s here, we’ve never dared do anything fatal.”

The scene was hauntingly grotesque. Screams sounded all throughout the valley. Horses neighed and prisoners fled—it was more than chaotic. Wei WuXian took up Wen Qing in his arms. Many prisoners fled during Wen Ning's rampage. As WN's orders were specifically to target people who hurt him, it is likely the other prisoners weren't harmed.

The prisoner’s voice quivered slightly as he pointed in a certain direction, “There’s… There’s a house on that side of the valley. They use it to… lock people inside and beatthem up. Anyone who dies would be dragged outside and buried. Some of the people you’re looking for might be over there…”

Wei WuXian, “Thank you.” He followed the direction that the person pointed and indeed saw a shed that seemed like it was only temporarily built. Holding Wen Qing in one hand, he kicked the door open. In a corner of the room sat around a dozen people, all of them bruised and bleeding.

There are a dozen people in the room. That means 12.

Wei WuXian, “Nothing. Who are the cultivators under Wen Ning? Cut the nonsense and step out now!”

This is what people go with when they say he didn't rescue everyone. BUT - when WWX is questioning JXZun, it is made clear that the Wen remnants were essentially free people trying to investigate the bat king (that the asshole chased into their camp) and JXZun harassed.

You couldn’t catch the bat king and happened to run into a few of the Wen Sect’s disciples who were there to investigate the same thing. And so, you threatened them to carry spirit-attraction flags to be your bait. They didn’t dare do it. One person stepped out and tried to reason with you. That’s the Wen Ning I’m talking about. After some delay, the bat king got away. You beat up the Wen cultivators, took them away by force, and the group disappeared. Do I need to say any more details? They still haven’t returned yet. Apart from you, I don’t know who in the world I could possibly ask.”

So JZXun took people under WN's command who were settled in this tiny corner of Qishan. Not prisoners of war.

Back to the QQ pass.

“What are you waiting for? Mount the horses! Don’t tell me you’re waiting for me to find you swords?” One of the group remembered that an elderly was here. He hastened to bring the old woman and the toddler along, helping them onto a horse. Holding the still-unconscious Wen Qing, Wei WuXian himself mounted his horse as well. The dozens of people found a single dozen horses amid the pandemonium. Around two or three people took one horse despite the discomfort.

This implies WWX took as many as he could. Not just the 12 people in the room. There were only a dozen horses. Every horse bore two or three people. There were 50 odd people in the BM settlement. HE TOOK AS MANY AS HE COULD. While others did nothing. After WWX called out the hypocrisy in public.

It would serve this fandom well to not point fingers at the man that at least did something while everyone else twiddled their thumbs or carried out needless torment on people already in a wretched circumstances.

While all of the Sect Leaders were enjoying a cozy dinner and gossipping about WWX - This was happening-

The old woman shook her head many times. The child hugged his granny’s neck tightly as well, on the verge of sliding off. There was an unconcealable fear within the two’s eyes. With a reach, Wei WuXian lifted the child up and tucked him under his arm.

The old woman was scared to death, “A-Yuan! A-Yuan!”

Although the child called A-Yuan was still quite young, he already knew fear, but still he didn’t cry. He only continued to nibble at his fingers as he snuck a few glances at Wei WuXian. Wei WuXian shouted, “We’re going!” His legs struck against the horse’s back and led the group. Around a dozen horses followed behind him, dashing into the night rain.

An old grandmother and a fucking toddler. A child too traumatized to cry.

WWX did the best he could. And AT LEAST HE DID SOMETHING.

Practice

Before you start story mode, you should probablypractice. Just fight an apponent in vs. mode. Ifyou are a beginner, then set their lives to 1, andyours all the way. Then, keep playing until youcan beat them with equal lives. Then, try to beatthem with less lives then them, because in storymode, you will be required to fight with the oddsagains you. (examples: fighting with half health,your opponent can heal, they are moving around andyou cannot stop them, you have to fight 5 at onetime, etc.) When you can do that, try it in vs.difficulty medium and hard, until your opponent isa piece of cake.

Beating Opponents

If you are having a hard time beating opponents,then just throw stuff at them. If you are on thebridge, it is extremely easy to win, because thereis a lot of stuff everywhere. If you are someonestrong, just throw stuff at your opponent.

Healing Health

In the Roekel’s Headquarters venue, you can healhealth. Just stand in the middle circle when itstarts glowing, and you will heal health. Do notlet your opponent get in there, or they will tryhealing, and will try to kick you out.

Venom Level: The Bridge

In the Venom level (story mode) where you have tofight all of those enemies, there will be hoveringgreen orbs. There are many enemies, and you willprobably lose most of your health. However, if youare low on health, destroy one of the green orbs,and you will absorb their energy! You will aregainsome of your health. There are about three or fourof them througout the level.

Hit Apponent While You Are On The Ground

If your opponent knocks you down, then do not getup until they are close to you. If they are closeto you, then point in their direction with thejoystick and press the A button. This will knockthem back, and they will almost always fall on theground. When they are on the ground, go away, orthey will do it to you. Also, while you are on theground, you can surprise your opponent and do apower blast. Byt they can do the same to you, sowatch out!

Flaming Items

If something is flaming, go away from it! If it isa barrel, it’s okay to pick it up, but throw itquickly. If a car is flaming, the alarm will gooff and it will honk once. Then, it will explodeand force waves will be visible. If a truck ortank is about to explode, it will sound likegroaning metal, there will be a small flame, andit will explode. Sometimes, if you throwsomething, it will explode automatically, but youwill probably be far away from it. So, stay awayfrom flaming objects!

Easy Wins For Vs. Matches

If your opponent is someone who can do powerblasts (examples: Spiderman/Venom’s webs,Solara/Human Torch’s fire blasts, Brigade/VanRoekel’s power blasters, etc.), that is probablythe first thing they will do to you. Especially inmed./hard modes. Without you knowing, they will dopower blasts every time you start. Even in themiddle, if they start using their super power orstart flying, they will probably do power blasts.You just have to keep R holded, and press R+Y(shield/reflect) whenever they shoot. This willhurt them a lot. With Roekel as an opponent, itusually gets him a ring out.

Bringing Up Super Power

If your super power is low, just catch things thatyour opponent throws at you. This brings up yoursuper power meter quite a bit.

Special Move

Every character has a special move. It is anautomatic K.O. It works best if your opponent’shealth is in danger, and you have rage. Get rage,go next to the person, and press R+Y. This willeither knock them down, or push them back.IMMEDIATELY, without hesitation, press R+X. Itwill rarely do a special move, but it’s reallycool when it does it. It shows off the character’spowers.

Unlocking Characters

You can unlock stages and characters very easily.for every 10 vs. matches, you get a player or astage. Just choose Spiderman, plug in a secondcontroller, and choose anyone. With Spiderman,just keep commiting suicide. You will quickly haveall the characters and all of the stages.

Rage

Every sucsesful strike you do it adds to your rage meter. Once the rage meter is full press the r button and you will have unlimited superpowers for a breif amount of time.
