That session was so so so so much fun!! I told this countless times but I cannot describe the joy of being with an amazing people on the biggest artistic collab project we could create. For the last year we did countless arts, having so much fun, silly moments, cheesy speeches, deep and touching conversations.... I cherish them deeply in my heart 💖

A year ago I didn't know that randomly (and very anxiously) joining the session will end with beautiful friendships, creating a server, bringing back my love to art and having so much fun!

Let's continue this journey and celebrate second anniversary in the next year!

And now, my contribution to the session (under the cut!)

1. Elesa in my Sygna Suit Mareep design, I drew her on the precious session and I'm so glad Magma added new brushes in meanwhile - because I could finally do the justice to the fur. I love that fur!

2. The Bento stand felt a little empty, so I added a friendly subway worker, who is willingly giving all the bento boxes (no one told him he was supposed to sell, but oh well!)

3 and 4 - Gengar and Yamask, added in the last moment bc Party Train needed more passengers. And surprisingly, they are my favorite pieces, especially Gengar! Now they have fun in (haunted) Party Train!

5. Big Chemmet plushie. One day I will have him. One day...

6. Joltiks joined to party, so I decided to add my own dancing Joltik. She is having a lot of fun here!

7. My Zoroark BKsona and chEmmet zorua designed by Waffle - dancing happily on the party!

8. That was my redraw of the frame from the second session. I wanted to see if I improved and I can clearly feel the difference! Especially backgrounds, I'm not afraid of them anymore 💖

9. I kinda carried away and I drew my Train Lady Locomanie (if u don't know - my own personal Drag Lady AU where subway bosses are working after hours as the Train Ladies). I wanted to test the brush and oh my gosh I love them so much aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-!!! 💖💖💖

10. Last but not least: my chEmmet at the chEmmet party! I cannot describe the happiness I feel after seeing all the Chemmets (and guests) on the canvas.

November Magma "1st Anniversary" results!!

Main event: Anniversary Party!

It's already been a year since I started running these monthly events, would you believe that!! For this special occassion we invited Pokémon characters for a big party in the Battle Subway, and it turned out fantastic!! Check it out!!

There are many cool references to our previous Magma events in these scenes! Can you spot them all? Two of the amazing backgrounds (the train entrance) contributed by @beastkonohaworld and the plushie showcase is by @fishmanfishman3 (on Twitter)! The other half of the event is under the cut!

Mini-event: Chemmet's 1st Birthday Party!

This cute little guy @beastkonohaworld created has appeared in every single doodle session since the very beginning and has been bringing cheer and love for numerous artists and their works!! Likes and comments are always very much appreciated, but it's really something else when someone actually interacts with your art! Chemmet has given so much for us, so now it's his turn to receive all the love!

And finally: November free doodle session results!

So much wonderful art here!! Some folks did something really cool and redrew their earliest Magma pieces here!! To see the improvement so concretely is very exciting and rewarding to see, you've all worked really hard on your art throughout the year!!

I am proud of these results, I'm proud of your hard work, and I'm proud to have been your monthly event host for 13 months straight! It has been quite the personal challenge but it has also been a great pleasure: seeing you all draw, connect, have fun and create amazing things together has very much been worth the effort!! Once again:

(2) each other to work on however because otherwise it'd be unfair to ask for art with bgs if you only give a doodle. The lineart-color swap exchanges sound like a lot of fun tho for those who want a challenge or something new to work with. So Tl;DR depends on the artists making the trade, although being specific about the sort of trade is best

(1) it depends on what the artists agree on. You can decide if you want a sketch, some lineart, a full color or a comic or you can ask for a concept and let the other make of that what they will. I think it´s fair to outline how much work you expect

Thank you for answering! I was just getting confused for a while because I was seeing quite a few ‘art trades’ happening and not knowing the rules because they were all doing different things.  Good to know it’s not necessarily a strict thing,

I think it depends of how artists agree about art trade. I usually just give an idea of art, no linearts ect, but some people can draw linearts and color each other's art :3

Im glad to know it depends on the artists and not something we need to adhere to. You and I should do another one someday! I really liked the last art switch thing we did =3

Decided to use #monthofemmet to be an opportunity to show u LUFF and CUTENESS with my chEmmet! The smol, happy train boi! ChooChoo~~!! He is the Emmet, but.... smol. And cute. And adorable. And he luffs everyone. And cute!

Ch!Emmet is so happy to be around his pokemons - even if they are... kinda big for him. But it doesn't matter, bc pokemons love him too!

Have some nice clothes for ch!Emmet:

- one as my Drag Lady AU, Trainity;

- one inspired by my favorite character from anime about NEET sextuplets;

- one with pajamas bc joltik sleepers!

There is something verrrrry special about looking at your old photos: when you see how you grew up and how far you went in your journey. To look back and think "wow! how much I changed!"

[DAY 5: Hobby]

Who says your job cannot be also your hobby? Creating new strategies with your pokemons surely counts as the hobby - and it's more fun when you have such a great students as your team!

[DAY 6: Emotions]

My close friend once said: "Brightest smiles hide the saddest tears". Everyone wants to be happy, but sometimes emotions are too much to handle than you can, even if you're still smiling and saying "I'm fine"

[DAY 8: Festival]

In the moment when I discovered that Cilan met Submas at SUBCON (officialy they have Train Convent in Pokemon??) - I had only one vision in my mind: Emmet in train cosplay.

You know I had to draw it.

[DAY 9: Storm]

Storm outside your house when you are sitting inside with good book and blanket (and your electric puppy is outside, happily dancing in the thunderstorm) - what's the better way to spend an evening time?

[DAY 10: Monster/Fusion]

Archeops is verrrry suspicious about that new smol ArchEmmet.

Don't worry, that new chEmmet is too cute to be a danger <3

[DAY 11: Visiting another region]

Galar is my favorite region, so of course I had to send ch!Emmet there! Also - Woolos are cuties, I would stea-BORROW them too if I saw them 💖💖💖

[DAY 12: Office]

Me and my friend have HC that Emmet actually enjoys working in Excel. All of the pokemon datas to analyse! All of the graphs and diagrams! He probably enjoys it much more than other people.

[DAY 13: Favorite ship]

I don't have any fav ship - ch!Emmet loves everyone and he would feel very flustered if he was overflooded by other people's love 💖💖💖

Potential sequel of @/choochooboss comics, where Ingo takes a sweet revenge on ch!Emmet and makes him singing and dancing to this song too 💖
