This is the Buddy for April 8th. That's him in the corner.

I prefer drawing characters with beady eyes. Big eyes are harder to draw, cause, you gotta figure out how big the eyes should be on each character, and make both eyes equally big, otherwise your character ends up looking like some sort of acid-dropping psycho.

And if you get the proportions wrong, you end up with a grey alien instead of a human. I've even thought of taking advantage of that detail to make a comic about aliens, something taking place in Rosewell.

But, uh, today's Buddy was a bit of a quickie. I was drawing the girl on the left while watching a show (ironically, Resident Alien, a show featuring Greys as well), and started scribbling a Buddy on the side. Not the way I usually draw it, but, I figured, let's use it.

By the way, on that show, why doesn't Harry ever say the name of his planet? He only says "My planet", "my people" and "people in my planet". Is there like a taboo on saying the actual name?

The same thing's happening in the HBO series The Regime, where Kate Winslet talentedly plays the dictator of a country, and they don't say the country's name, which gets very noticeable.

Hmm... now I'm thinking, maybe her country is Harry's home planet?

I'm a bit late, but I sketched this for April fools as something off the wall. I've always been a fan of more horror aesthetics, I just never felt like I could convey that on my usual work.

Ditto transformed into the enemy Polderjoch!

Part of my series "150 followers, 150 pokémon" from Twitter. Ditto's Mysterious Mansion, the 37th episode of the pokémon anime, was released at a time when the pokémon fandom was reaching a peak. It was one of the few episode which, truly, everyone saw, as it occurred very close to a hiatus in new episodes (don't worry, our TV overlords kept us filled with reruns in the interim). This episode featured a Ditto that, although it could transform into any pokémon, trainer, or indeed object, was unable to change its face. Fans quickly adopted the theory that all Ditto start out like that, something that wouldn't change until another Ditto appeared over a hundred episodes later in Gen 2, which made Ditto's popularity tank. ^{In Gen 4, this was reversed to say most Ditto can't transform their faces but the damage was done: Ditto was already the butt of all the Daycare jokes.} For my 132nd follower, @@Polderjoch, I decided to draw a Ditto transforming into its new trainer hoping to please him. Look at him, he's so happy! (original sketch) I was prepared to deal with the motion blur of the tail wag this time, I was not prepared for how many spots Polderjoch's fur has. This is the only time I'm going to "close" fur strands: it's a tell-tale for the character presented to be more easily identifiable as a Ditto (even if it can transform its face). Once again, anybody wants any of the pokémon sketches colored, modified to fit a different 'sona, or touched up, let me know and I'll do it for cheap

We all remember the Sneeze-Barf Incident. Every time Bug hears it being brought up, he loses his sanity.

More or less, I feel like he and Iggy would be in intense therapy after those events. Hell, if they ever became parents and their kids ask about their childhood, they would leave the Sneeze-Barf Incident out.
